ISAT is short for "In Stars And Time". It's an RPG game made by @insertdisc5. ABsolutely go check it out otherwise you wont understand a thing about the characters of the AU!

when i was reading the most recent page of the In Skies and Time™️ comic I had the most hilarious image in my head of just a bunch of sky kids smacking down on the same area and making this. sky kid pileup????? [since it seems liek theyre all gonna come back like that..] it was super funny to imagine 30 CAR PILEUP 🔥🔥🔥

Something unleashed in me and now I have several one shots of varying length and an unhinged drive to finish all of them. so. Here's some snippets of each plus a tiny summary?? I guess??

Azriel x Eris ~3k Firefighter Azriel AU

“Azriel, report,” Zeb demands.  His thumb presses down on the button, waiting for the click and croaks out, “still looking Cap, he's not in the first room.” The splintering howl of the flames corrals him for a second as he quickly scans the area. The fire from the floor below having eaten through the hard wood, through the nice carpet in the center of the room.  “You have two minutes, Azriel, and then you have to get out. That's an order.” Azriel swallows hard, breathing coming labored. He knows he should reply, say something to counter it—but there’s no time so he leaves it, moves further down the hallway.  “VCFD call out!” He yells again, tapping the floor gently with the toe of his boots to make sure it's relatively stable to walk across.  His foot is tapping one rhythm—and then faintly, he hears another.

Azriel x Eris ~4k Freak4Freak Breeding Kink with some angst

Azriel's words are filthy. Eris hangs on by his hair, his shoulders, for dear life as a cascade of all the most shameful, secret longings come pouring out of Azriel's slack mouth. Azriel can’t think, can’t breathe. The shadows are swarming around him so tight they feel like the edges of walls and there’s something, something, under his skin.

Azriel x Eris ~2k Couples Therapy (but not a couple) AU

Dr. Manachin rubs her palms on the legs of her chinos, taking a deep breath. “Option two is not as…conventional, let’s say. But, looking through your file and spending one session with you makes me believe it might be able to benefit you.” Her eyes are such a pale blue they’re almost grey. Watery, when they peer at him from behind the thick rims of her glasses. Eris shifts uncomfortably in his seat as if she can see the charred lump of muscle in his chest that refuses to beat.  “And what, exactly, would ‘unconventional’ therapy look like.” Eris questions her haltingly.  Dr. Manachin moves to answer, pauses, and then her hands thrust up like she’s physically and verbally giving him an answer. “Couples therapy.”

Told myself I wanted to write more this year, so I guess I'm starting it off with a bang eheh. School work is a lot lighter this semester which is nice so I'll have more time to finish these because I have a whole ass doc called 'One Shot Central' and man oh man send help it just keeps growing 🫠

Sanctuary was a lie that dwelled in Ivory City; a sheer curtain that the mass claimed they couldn’t see beyond. A place that was the antithesis of what I’d craved for my whole life while I was carefully crafted to be the weapon of your undoing.

My dragon, you were the only sanctuary I could let my soul sink into.

No matter where I go to find shelter, where I curate the life around me to be a home for a short while-

It’s empty.

Nothing grants me the warmth from the air’s chill like being shielded by your wings did. Whether I am inside or out, cloaked or not… it’s all frigid and pricks at me. It gnaws at my bones even as I stand in the brightest hours of the day.

Was it being encased in your wings, or was it you? I already know the answer, but just let me believe it could be something else.

You said I’m greedy, that you’d grant me anything I desire. Wishing to you is as pointless as blowing a dead dandelion… but, could you grant me the day that we met? Just one more time?

Let me save you, and you can take my soul to devour. The exchange is one life for another.

I found you with a broadsword embedded in your chest, your core condemned and waitingh. Your beautiful wings, chained. You were just a young dragon, sitting in solitude without a burden to your soul that was worth judgement and imprisonment. A bird with its wings clipped almost.

Any pain I experienced since that day, it dulls in comparison to the agony that I’ve felt since I saw my beloved descend from the sky, broken and battered.

My dragon, you were devastatingly beautiful.

And it all aches.

Did half of my soul go with you in your death? Perhaps it was in its entirety that followed after you, like I sometimes wish I had done myself. The life I desperately clung to, begged for you to aid me in taking back just to live…

It’s torture when the fiend I love isn’t here to take responsibility; the traces of your existence having been etched deep within my life.

Your embraces had scorched and charred me down to my bones. Your destined fate to plunge your claws into my chest still came to fruition despite your retaliations: my heart bleeds every second for you. It sears and burns as if you left gashes as a reminder of your absence.

You’re woven to me, bound and tied.

Let your devotion and sacrifice be aid in servitude to the curse I’ve willed onto you and I. You, my beloved who protected me the most and yet, tore me apart beyond repair. Perhaps my childish refusal to part with a lamp engraved with a dragon that enraged the Judicator that led me to you…perhaps that was my most damning sign of our fate that was to come. My only source of light that possessed me like I was part of his collection, the one I resisted and then tried to protect.

Maybe it truly was you that I could never part with, and I just didn’t know it.

You were more radiant than you could ever fathom. And now, every stretch of red, every gem- it all pales in comparison to your vibrancy that you took with you.

My hair grew in a mock of your silver the more my horns settled in. My reflection just mirrors fragments of you. I long for the real dragon to be in front of me once more, to see you breathe the same air as me, rather than to cling to memories and flashes.

Time has passed, and it has all blurred together. My desire to tear the mortals I no longer truly belong to, the ones that painted your image as horrific and a monster, has become more of a fleeting daydream. Almost a semblance of your wandering thoughts that’d give you some form of amusement.

Revenge seems rather pointless and lackluster when you’re not here to reap what I’ve torn apart for you. I’ve grown tired and the aches seemed to have entrapped me wholly.

It almost feels like the moment I’d fallen for the evil dragon.

A misstep and a grand descent that could’ve saved me from all the heartbreak that laid awaiting if it weren’t for you diving after me before I could be taken by the darkness. But you caught me before what I should’ve known was a potential reprieve for what was to come. Wings had encaged me and our story began to unravel from there- that was the point of no return.

What would you have gained from saving me? Was it just because of my soul? But, the look on your face was evident enough. The speed you took to reach me and the death grip that I was met with.

I had liked you even then.

Was this your intention all along? You have half my soul, yet I wonder if you took more of me when you left.

I’ve been left hollow and carved out, carrying myself in a shell that resembles parts of you to protect my life that you gave yours to save. I ache and cry with pain alongside your memories which now belong to me.

My requiem for the dead…

I’ll only ever hum the melody for the rest of my days. You possessed me entirely, and took solace in my singing of it. My voice belongs to you, there’s no dued grace Philos deserves to hear. The only departed one I wish to soothe is you.

So let my faint hum quake the lands and seep into the air, be carried on the wings of birds to reach you, my dragon.

My soul, what’s left of it, feels far too heavy now. I hope that maybe in another life, we can live by our own writing and construction. That fate will not constrict us and our eternal binding can take the helm.

The only vengeance to enact is against you, beloved. Because the truth, the truth is that it strangles the air from my lungs to know you didn’t do it out of a cruel ploy to make me live with the aftermath of everything that followed. That you easily could’ve been the final crescendo of my cacophony-akin life and ended it there as I stood with open arms.

I had known for a long while that I never truly wished to hurt you, and I think you knew it even as I threatened you every once in a while. Yet the times where we lost control, it ate away at me and ruined any form of tranquility I could have known. Tranquility that you introduced me to. But, I suppose maybe you saw it fit that I’d be the one to finish our story rather than you.

So, maybe if we are to meet again in another life or a few, the way to settle the score would be for you to try obtaining my love. Make you start from scratch as I dwell by myself without you by my side. There may come a time where your treasures and possessions you lord over pale to what you wish to possess the most- and I pray I get to be there to witness it.

You enabled me to indulge in my greed and desires, but what’s the use of my own collection if you were the treasure I coveted the most? I think, I think it’s best that I stop taking and collecting. If we are to have another chance together, we’ll start our own collection, let them mean something to give them value.

You had lived alone and in pain for 1,677 years. I may wish to have been the one that lost between us and to let you taste my pain and emptiness,- but for you, in spite of it all, I’ll be the one to stay confined to this life that has become my own imprisonment as I wait for you to find me once more.

You understood destruction and read it well, so may you find my words in the ashes and smoke that will become of this letter. I can’t reach you but maybe my messages can as the fire burns this.

Our lives our bound together, our souls merged- our bond is unbreakable. And we’re one in the same; kindred spirits, you and I. So, do whatever it takes to come back to me. No matter the cost.

Azul would definitely make sure to give you your gift first. He has done extensive research and came to Ramshackle with a bouquet of your favorite flowers! Though Valentines wasn't foreign to him, the way humans celebrated was a bit different! Then he'd take you to the town on the island, because somehow he got permission from Crowley!

At least you think so? But you got to go and have a great time on the rest of the island so who cares? He took you to multiple shops and then to the beach after. When you got back to campus you both went to his dorm. And it confused him to no end when you told him to wait while you ran off towards the dorms kitchen. He waited like an hour until you came out. He was a little annoyed but he couldn't go into the kitchen since the twins were keeping guard of the door as he heard sizzling. Hands down you enter the room with a, "Missed me?"

He'd question why you took so long but little did he know you ALSO did your research! Leading him to his own VIP room you'd explain nothing to him and watch as he blushed and tried to get answers from you. I mean why go to such a private room on such an intimate day? He's embarrassed even more as some other dorm members walk past him, a blushing mess, being tugged into his private office.

Not to mention your teasing the entire way there with hand holding and little pecks! He wouldn't say it out loud (7 forbid the tweels hear him) but he loves your affection just as much as it embarrasses him! And sevens, does it embarrass him!

When you get to the room the foods already set up! Courtesy of the twins. He knows the food was made by you, why else would you be gone for an hour!? and is kinda nervous for two reasons.

Its kind of charred around the edges too, not a lot but to someone who's skilled at cooking its hard to not notice.

"Its burnt!" Azul laughs light heartily even though he still takes a bite.

"Yeah well its made with love, not skill," you reply sarcastically. As he eats his fill he makes comments about how he wants to avoid getting chubby, which you quickly dismiss saying you'd love him however he looked. To be completely honest he practically melts into your side on the couch. Its cute how shy he gets with this, and he seems to be leaning in more to your touch more.

I absolutely agree on fucking timeline remark. it's stupid I hate it.

ESPECIALLY since Steph's novel came out. Because it messed the shit out of timeline and other details.

But apart from that, I would really like Charlotte and Alex interacting more with each other. So the scene in third (was it third omg??) chapter when she lashes out would feel even more angsty and even a little unexpected. because with how little of them we saw together, I kinda expected something like this to happen.

And also Jed. The same reason.

But my overall underrated and overlooked favorite is ✨Duckie✨. Oh how I love this dramatic man. He warms my heart. Each interaction with him was really welcoming and endearing. Loved him since the "to the most tenacious detective" line.

(Anon, you have given me an excuse to ramble about Charlotte and Alex, and I thank you kindly bc it's one of my favorite things to do)

I LOVE the concept of Alex and Charlotte's relationship so much, man. Charlotte is so excited to welcome Alex into her life (as seen in Chapter 1, where she's trying SO hard to strike up conversation with a very withdrawn Alex, god she's so sweet).

And then Gabe dies, and everything flips on its head. I think it's so interesting how Alex becomes the one who reaches out and is trying to initiate that relationship post-Gabe (Char does, too, of course, but I think Alex is doing more and more of the work throughout the game). Just, really wanting to build a connection, but it's so hard because the glue that held them together is gone, so now what?

And Charlotte!! How strange and sad it must be, for Gabe's sister to arrive on the day he dies. And she looks like him, and talks like him, and has the same humor. It has to be so painful, to look at Alex and see Gabe.

I think one of the things the game did RIGHT was Charlotte's anger toward Ethan. It's taboo and uncomfortable and the elephant in the room, but my god, it was so raw and real. I swear I felt it through the screen the first time I played it. Just. An incredible moment, even though I wish both choices had an equal amount of weight to them.

Frankly, I think Jed's attack on Alex was the start of Charlotte finding closure. Her partner died, and his sister was almost murdered, and it's so awful, but long-buried secrets have been unearthed and now she knows the truth of what happened. After that, I think she can finally move forward and forgive Gabe. She can forgive Alex, and Ethan, and herself.

I'm tearing up a little writing this bc I just think their relationship is so beautiful and even if canon didn't give us as much depth as I would have liked, it's still impactful and important and compelling :')

(sorry for taking a while for this answer... and this got long again, which was to be expected... hope you like reading a LOT about pz lol)

So my current character is called Killer Green. They're the third char i created in this sandbox game (starting location Louisville, with a mod). the first one was Baby Green, who lived a surprising 6 (i think?) months and then got killed by an unexpected group of zombies inside a building :( I made a second char (Angel Green) to avenge them but had to find out the hard way, that you can't throw molotow coctails out of a broken window, trying to will set you on fire and kill you. :(( Thus char 3, Killer was born, (i named them that because i was so angry lol) who has since retrieved Angel's corpse and burried them beside the safe house. We are still looking for Baby's Zombie (which must be somewhere in this fucking city but by now they could be pretty much anywhere ugh) I am determined to find and kill it and to bury Baby's body next to Angel's so they can be home and in peace.

So yeah, this is my story now. (Gotta say i do like having a goal!) In the meantime i've set up a second base in the middle of the city, close to where Baby died so i can stay there for a few days at a time. I'm also contonuing to work on my main base (a largeish House by the river on the West side of the city) and building up Killer's skills since they had to start from zero ofc after Baby died.

Deciding a favourite mod is hard, because like many. I'm gonna list a few that i think make the biggest impact on how i play:

Change Sandbox Options (by star) - Let's you access the sandbox options mid-game, so you can change things around without having to start a new game. very useful, especially while you start out and try out different things!

Louisville Spawn - Adds LV as a starting location (i would NOT advise you to start in LV if you're a beginner, it's really hard. but i like it, now that i got used to the game and stuff.)

Antibodies (v1.85) - makes the infection potentially less deadly (you can decide in the settings how likely you want the infection to turn you into a zombie. I like this especially because at the beginning i never lived long enough to even start learning skills and stuff before i got bit and had to start all over again.......)

Uhm i play solo and i guess i like find a safe house and use it as a base while going out to explore/loot stuff. I'm not much of a traveller for more than a few days at a time (kudos to the players who live out of their car, i could never, i just like to hoard stuff too much lol)

I like to set myself goals to achieve (like collecting things and such) to keep the later game interesting :3

Random fun fact: I love composting! I can not explain why but for some reason it is super satisfying to me to collect rotten food and putting it in the composter. I literally have 2 composters in my backyard, that are always full and several bags of garbage that i still need to put in as soon as they have some space again lol. By now i have more compost than i can use for fertilizing (it's winter rn) but i still collect rotten stuff wherever i go xD

Also not sure if this is a fun fact but in my experience i pretty much never get bitten/scratched on the legs so when the temperature allows it, i wear shorts/ a mini skirt and fishnets, which i think looks so good with the leather jacket and military boots! (very gender uwu) (Other than that i mostly chose clothes for protection rather than style, but the legs are ✨fashion✨)

i hope you have fun with the game, once you get it! It's a great christmas present in my opinion, you can have hundreds of hours of fun with it xD (and please don't get discouraged if it is too hard at first, just keep trying and you'll get into it, as long as you dont give up! (and i can give you some beginner tips of what helped me when i started out, if u want) If you have seen others play it and liked what you saw, then you'll like playing it too i'm sure!)

sure you can always ask! just with the caveat that you may not get very satisfactory answers either because i've 1) forgotten, or 2) have not thought about the chars enough to be able to give good answers and i probably won't be able to expend the mental energy trying to come up with something if i haven't ever thought about it before LOL (my mind is running at 200% capacity as is most days lkajdfklsa) 🤣 so i apologize in advance
