Persona is always so amazing at writing the most queer story arcs ever just to slap you in the face with "No fuck you they're actually fully heterosexual, dumbass"..

Like Yukiko and Chie?? Calling your girl best-friend your PRINCE? Wishing she could SAVE YOU? You both are so co-dependent on each other?!?! That's sapphic as fuck! Ann and Shiho are also sapphic as fuck. The entire section where you get to romance Ann felt more like I was witnessing those two confess to each other more than anything?!?

I can't even BEGIN on Kanji and Naoto, and Akechi. However you want to slice Naotos gender as, Kanji full on was attracted to Naoto either way (I am purposely avoiding gendered pronouns as honestly I haven't even figured out how I want to see Naoto. Especially since I'm not even far along P4G. I only know about the whole gender debate + Kanji's crushing of Naoto). Our Bi-king??? And Akechi just has that "I hate you but I love you, but I can't stand you, but I wish we were friends from the start" doomed gay narrative.

Yosuke was apparently a removed love interest so I mean I don't even HAVE to talk about him.

Ryoji is just full on canonically bisexual but you're just straight up not allowed to accept his confession to you as Makoto, which is stupid. ..They let Aigis and Kotone (by technicality, since she can romance Aigis. But I'm pretty sure I've seen people post actual in-game things that read a little sapphic) be bisexual though, so go girls!

What the fuck is with Persona and throwing so many queer teenagers at me just to tell me I'm the idiot for thinking they were some flavor of LGBTQIA+!! Especially because then they also throw curve balls like the two stereotypical gay men who literally harass Ryuji. Or the really bad trans woman joke during the beach stuff in Yakushima in P3 (don't remember which version, but I know it got removed). This series is both so pro-queer and anti-queer at the same time.

I feel like this fandom has this really weird thing with infantalizing Ororon. To a point where whenever people see ships with him .. it's somehow a proship. He's probably one of the few characters who has his age group flat out told to you, that he's in his twenties. How far along? Unknown. But he's a grown adult. He's also old enough to drink, according to his character stories, as Fatui soldiers check first before giving him Fire Water, which since he was allowed two cups of that .. obviously he's not like, fifteen. 😀

I see it especially in CapiRon fanart on Pinterest, also on Tiktok. Where everyone is freaking out or saying wild things about family and age as if the pairing isn't essentially Natlans own version of Zhongchi. You know. ..the ship with the immortal god and a twenty something year old! Which is almost literally what CapiRon is! The two characters never explicitly call each other family, so you can't really claim its canon (Ororon would call him gramps if that was the case - but he actually refers to him by title. Captain), and it's explicitly only mentioned as found family when Captiano is paired with Mavuika, so Ororon falls into a son role despite not looking at either person as family. There's nothing wrong with that headcanon! If that's your thing, that's your thing, but people are legitimately trying to convince me they're canonically found family. The only two people he sees as found family seems to be Citlali. Possibly the Traveler, but I'm not positive on that (as those are the only two characters he gives family titles to, as far as I'm aware. It's Granny Citlali, and Granny Lumine / Gramps Aether).

I feel like this stems from people seeing his personality and somehow equating it with him being childish when he's not. He's not childish. His entire storyline is about his fear of being nothing, of having nothing, about how he's afraid he has no real purpose going forward. He's not suddenly an infant because he's a little socially odd, or because he talks to plants. He's socially odd because that's just how he grew up. He grew up understanding his feelings in specific ways. He grew up understanding life in specific ways.

Ororon isn't a child. He is a grown man with his own thoughts and problems, even if he doesn't communicate them in a way that makes sense to other people. That doesn't make him less of an adult. An Immortal/Mortal pairing isn't illegal as long as both characters are actually both physically and mentally grown adults, it goes into really questionable territory when the immortal was heavily involved in the mortals childhood in my opinion though (cough cough that Oceanid during the Poetry event). Which. Doesn't happen with CapiRon.

He's gotten a whole lot fluffier but also yet scruffier, and also now has a mullet.

His teeth have gotten sharper than their usual low poly round along with his fingers which have torn at his gloves.

I refuse to believe its a prolapse its a tail you will never change my mind. Im not in denial its a tail. Which has also gotten a whole lot fluffier and a bit longer.

Without Lucky Charms he's slowly reverting to his survival tactics he had when he was homeless. He also deeply misses Charms.

Lucky Charms is doing their best to help with finding a cure since they want gwimbly back in their life without having to fear the disease will send him feral and lead to their demise under his hands. They're also still making music to help cope without gwimbly will still juggling work and cure search.

Can I ask if you watched anyone play Layers of Fear? I'm confused on the timeline/games lol There's 1 and 2, and then a remake now I guess? I'm having bad deja vu here and I can't place at all if I've seen it. I definitely didn't play it but it feels so familiar to me, but it's been years since it's release. I'm trying to decide if I wanna go back and watch someone play the originals, or check out the remake. I'm probably going to end up watching the originals and then watching the updated version just because... I want to see it all lol but I'm curious if you happened to watch anyone in particular or if you played it yourself!

hi !! for most of the games i like, i had to watch playthroughs since my old laptop will never be able to run them u.u

anyway, in regard to "layers of fear", i watched jacksepticeye play the first game :D i think he got the bad ending so i also watched some random recording of the good ending, and then another random video about the little dlc that came out a few months after the original thing.

for the second game (which has nothing to do with the original), jack also played a part of it and i watched it, but he ditched the series and the game confused me a lot anyway so i never sought anyone else's playthrough for that. as for the third game, i think it's indeed a remake (?) that somehow merges the story of the two previous entries, but i have no idea who's played it, how different it is, or if it's worth playing / watching at all.
