Drabble | Logan x Reader

🐑 Imagine: Sitting on Logan’s couch and scratching his back/head and him complaining when you stop

Movie nights were common for the two of you. It was a way to spend time together, cuddle, and share your favorite films with Logan. Tonight you decided to play one of your all time favorites. At this point, you’ve probably seen this film over 100 times in your life, so your attention is drawn to your phone.

You and Logan are a bit smushed to the side of the couch as he uses his hand to prop up his head on the arm rest with you right there snug against his side. Mindlessly you drag your nails up and down Logan’s bare back, causing him to shiver lightly when you reach his waistline. Your hand travels upwards to his neck and into his hair. Your attention is drawn from your phone when you hear a purr and a soft groan escape Logan. His eyes are closed peacefully and his mouth slightly open.

You smile at this, entertaining him for a moment, before taking your hand back and using it to type a quick text message on your phone. He turns his torso completely towards you and nudges your thigh with his knee.

“Hm?” You reply, feigning innocence.

“Why’d you stop?” He was firm with his response, quickly catching on to your little act.

“Stop what?” You say, biting back a sly smile.

“You know what. C’mon bub.” He almost whines, surprising you. Your eyebrows raise at his tone. Suddenly you realize how desperate he really was.

“Didn’t know you liked it so much, I’ll keep going, but you’ll have to pay me back later.” You tease, a smile tugging at the corner of your mouth.

His eyes darken at your insinuation, and he shifts so that he’s laying on his back, legs over the arm rest, and head in your lap.

“You’re just a like a big old grumpy cat, you know that?” You giggle, running your hand through his hair and scratching his scalp.

His eyes are closed, but there’s no denying that he rolled them at your comment.

“Yeah whatever, just don’t stop.” The last words spiraling off into a sigh of contentment.

Obey Me Sheep MC Drabble/Headcannons.

The Sheep MC of Obey me being a sheep makes me think about them doing Sheep Things or getting into Sheep Shenanigans. Cuz Funny

(Use of They/Them pronouns just to be inclusive, idk if this counts as a reader-insert, this is just me spewing my silly sheep ideas, do i put trigger warnings here? Idk)

• (MC) is very small in sheep form, while they can be bipedal, the idea of them going 'f*ck it' and walking on all fours like a true sheep is funny. It's hard work trying to walk on two little legs whilst covered in poofy wool.

• Them being so small and short made them an easy target to accidentally kick like a soccer ball across the corridor so the brothers gave them a bell to wear so the brothers can hear (MC) around the corner.

• (MC) has definitely given into the Sheeply Urge of chewing or eating on things they shouldn't at least once. Perhaps they do it when hungry or bored but they have tried nibbling on the Brother's clothes or things, of course they'd never chew on something expensive or important to the Brothers [(MC) once ate a page out of one of Satan's books and he damn near almost threw them out of the window for it] but the desire to gnaw on their sleeves or even furniture is a temptation that has crossed (MC)'s mind more than once.

• (MC)'s wool grows just like a sheep's, the brothers learned that the hard way when it got harder and harder for (MC) to walk until they were practically more wool than flesh. The Brothers took a day off just to shear all that wool off, after all that, (MC) was happy trimmed, shorn and peeled sheep who could walk again. Now the only thing left to do is wonder what the hell they're going to do with all this shorn-off wool now...

• (MC) doesn't only have wool, but they have horns and hooves too. Those grow at normal rates and the brothers don't need to worry about your horns growing to be too long or too sharp, your hooves on the other hands, the brothers keep a close eye on, as they don't want your hooves to be overgrown and making it hard for you to walk so Asmodeus takes it upon himself to give them a pedicure/manicure/whatever if those hooves of theirs are getting too long. He even paints them afterwards to make (MC) feel nice and pretty.

• (MC)'s wool gets stuck on things all the time, usually stuff like briars or thorns when left outside or the unforeseen hook or the rare exposed floorboard nail. Though embarrassingly, the most common thing to get hooked up in their hair is the brothers, their jacket zippers and such can occasionally get tangled up whilst (MC) be sitting in their laps, relaxing, only to try and hop off their laps and find themselves hooked by a clingy zipper.

• (MC) definitely makes sheep noises when happy or spooked, the House of Lamentations will be totally quiet (a rare thing) only for that silence to be broken by a tiny: 'MeEeeEehh'.

GAAAAAHH, Your so good man! While writing for Hank, I drabbled a little with how reader feels/felt?

Now, Reader didn't feel unloved of course, they loved the platonic yan adults and the teens/kids very much! But... they couldn't help that they didn't feel unconditionally cared for, the fact that they weren't actually related to them (Im shooting for that being what reader truly believed) always burned in the back of their mind, they felt the others had every right to turn them away if reader sought out that family bond from them, because they weren't really family, so why would they need to reach out to reader in that way? Reader knew they were loved, but that didn't change or get rid of the the pain, or the guilt they felt for not being grateful for the relationship/s they did have with everyone, they should be satisfied with the love they have, but they aren't, there's a part of reader that wants a kind of affection they truly believe they don't deserve.

So if Reader were related to Hank/Beast? The world is going to see a whole new side of him, a part of him that's merciless, because someone has been taken from them, and that can't go without punishment. He would be so so angry with himself, for never seeing that his kid was there with them the whole time, no one knew, and now reader and the others were gone, and nothing could change that. Then learning about how reader felt, something in him snapped, and he would do anything to make sure the future was a better one... even if the kids were the price they payed.

Dude you've got to let me know if I need to slow down, anyways, love ya!

Holy mole... That is a good take on a passage Reader would write, 🐑 Anon! They wouldn't have many notes written, or too much, but what they do have is hidden, all put in the same box and tucked away in a closet or under the bed or hidden behind books or beneath a floorboard. The notes have various dates, sometimes a few days apart, sometimes several months, even a year or so, but it details how Reader truly feels... And it's not great. They felt less than the others. Like they weren't worth as much. If anything happened to Reader, it wouldn't hold as many consequences, but it would break the others if something happened to another kid or adult, so they'd do everything they could to keep them alive. It portrays their fears, of abandonment, of hatred, of being cast out if they overstepped a boundary. It shows small portraits they've made of the others, or small notes on what to get them, what they like, the best ways to cheer them up...

It's heartbreaking, for the adult platonic yans to read through them, seeing how Reader tried so hard to please them and make them happy and keep everything together... And it's even worse when one of them is their parent. One they never knew about, one they'd never have a relationship with... and one who would never be able to form that bond with Reader.

If Hank was there parent... He's a sweet person. He's patient, he's good with kids, he's helpful and kind and caring... After this... He gets a bit darker. He still loves the kids and his friends, don't get him wrong! But... he misses the ones who are gone. The ones they couldn't save. And he spends hours, perfecting medicines and devices to help keep the others healthy and safe and to get rid of any... unnecessary individuals. What happened will not happen again. Not if he has any say in it. This tragedy... it will not be in vain. They learned their lesson. They cannot let others hurt them, or their children, or others like them. If they can't choose peace and acceptance freely, then they will accept it forcefully. And my oh my, the ideas he has to help keep the order amongst the people... Nothing violent, no. But perhaps something that... inclines them to make certain choices. To act a certain way, or to think a certain thought... And all the ways it can be administered. Medicines, drugs, perhaps a few small chips or trackers, to better keep an eye on every individual, especially the ones who are rather... outspoken...

It isn't easy, trying to move on. Trying to keep this new peace. Trying to right a wrong that has nothing they can right.

He had a child.

Now he does not.

Neither one of then knew the other was there, within reach, and now neither of them will be able to have the other as family. It hurts, deep down inside, worse than when his mutation further manifested, worse than being cooped up inside the mansion for a few months, worse than any accident in his lab. Those could be managed; handled; dealt with; healed. This... this wound won't heal. And while he is thankful for the others who are still there... he truly misses those who aren't.

Perhaps this path is dark, full of sorrow and doubt, but all they can do is make the best of it. The woods of paradise may be lovely, dark and deep, but he has promises to keep, and miles to go before he sleeps... (miles to go before he sleeps...)

(We have Erik and Hank down; that leaves The Professor, Storm, Wolverine, Sabretooth, and Mystique, as possible parents to Reader, that we can explore before anything is made canon to the au!)

Puppy!reader 🐶

Lloyd: totally inspired by my petplay wip called puppy love - big bad Lloyd is very strict and disciplines his dumb little pup. He locks her in a cage if she's being mouthy and teaches her everything she knows bc she’s just an airhead. she's always on her best behaviour when his friends are over bc whenever she's a good pup, she gets some yummy 'treats' from her daddy's friends.

Jake: sweet nerdy bf jake would love a hyperactive puppy!reader who is always up for snuggles and treats, bothers him under his desk, begging and whining for attention. no cages here (for punishment anyway, he's too much of a soft daddy for that), but there is one that's more like a tent with fairylights that you hide in, it has all of your favourite blankets, stuffies, and some of Jake’s clothes. And lovesick jake would drop all of his work and games for a cuddle session with his favourite girl that seems to always lead to special playtime.

Cub!reader 🐻

Ari: obviously Ari needs a little cub 🫶 she’s sleepy, loves snacking and being cozy (lots of cuddles by the fireplace) and is practically his personal chef !! he eats a lot and somehow she always knows what he’s craving before he does. he tries all her new recipes and will even help sometimes if he isn’t working. for their first date, me think they made homemade pizza 😌 and to be a little cheesy, they were in the shape of hearts ❤️

Kitten!reader 🐱

Steve: inspired by this drabble - Steve’s kitten is cute and quiet, and perfect for his quaint life. she takes naps in the sun while he works, will come to him whenever he calls and is just so so sensitive !! if he doesn’t say “I love you” before he leaves for work, she’ll cry all day. return of "the puffier it is, the better it tastes" is what he says about her clit, he'll play with her while she sits on his lap, or just flip up her dress whenever he's hungry. most times, he doesn't even let her finish, bc he loves when she cries and her kitty nub gets all swollen.

Ransom: sweater daddy loves his dumb kitten who doesn’t know any better 😪 she takes everything he says as truth and kisses the ground he walks on. he tugs on her tail, pulls her ears and spanks her whenever she's being bad. poor dummy doesn't even notice her daddy is putting her up for failure with his many convoluted rules, just bc he wants an excuse to punish her and her little kitty button.

Lamb!reader 🐑

Andy: I’m getting very much lonely daddy vibes from Andy but he’s also a very important public figure (a senator ??) and can’t let the world know he bought a hybrid bc it definitely doesn’t fit his charismatic and moral persona. His baby lamb is so quiet, doesn’t even speak to him for the first few weeks, more so just follows him around silently and lingers in the doorway. Until one day, he gets home hours late bc of a flight delay. it’s storming bad and when he walks in she’s crying by the front door and tackles him the moment she sees him bc the power went out, she’s cold and alone and finally realized how much andy really means to her 🥹🫶

Curtis: now ofc this is set in some cold and snowy forest, Curtis returns home after a hunt to see his home broken into. And what do you know !! there’s a little thing napping in his bed, she’s got pointy orange ears and a fluffy fluffy tail. me thinks similar to my Hunter!Curtis x bunny!reader au but with a mischievous fox!reader instead. fox!reader always causes trouble and will escape the cabin no matter how much he barricades it bc “I’m strong! I survived this long without you” but Curtis obviously knows better 🙄 “ya little dumb fox. stay inside before the wolves get you”

Oooo, good ideas, good ideas! I myself imagined either a wild big cat, or something like a shadowy beast form, where it looks like it's made from shadows (or is pure darkness in beast form).

Were-wolf- fun, classic, cute when not snarling and biting. Also a bit overused? But fluffy!

Were-bear- well THAT you don't see every day! And it would be kinda cute... but also really scary. But imagine the possibilities-! Polar bear, grizzly bear, black bear, sun bear, panda bear-!

Were-gator/crocodile- woo! That would be wild! Scaly, bitey, and a long tail perfect for thwapping! And you really don't see it every day!

Were-cat- this is right up my alley, but this also has lots of possibilities, as there are different big cats to choose from! Lion, tiger, leopard, jaguar, mountain lion/puma/its other one hundred and one names, cloud/snow leopard, cheetah, even prehistoric ones, like cave lions or smilodons... I'm a cat person, okay?😂

Something that doesn't exist, well, there's a dragon, a griffin, a sphinx, a gargoyle, a kirin/unicorn/alicorn?, the list goes on! Or even a mini kaiju creature! That's be so dangerous (and cute!)

i clearly don't understand tetcho enough bc i keep getting shit on under one of my drabbles abt him. this sounds very wholesome but how is someone supposed to find that out about him?? like all we see of him in the show is trying to fight the ADA to death and EVENTUALLY he comes around when he's fighting The Most Likable Person On Earth aka Kenji. like i wanna Understand bc i pride myself on being fairly in-character for everyone, but it feels like there is SO LITTLE content of tetcho and jouno to go on so how am i supposed to Know these things? i literally sat and read his fandom wiki page and not a single bit of it sparked a memory of the show, am I supposed to read everyone's wikis??? 😭
