Steam rose the second it fell, crawling above the shower door to escape. The light flicker of the candles you’d lit illuminated your body with a soft orange glow, from the absence of other lights you’d turned on. The music blasted through the room canceling out any sound you may hear as you let the water fall over you, washing away the last bits of soap.

You were so nearly done when you felt two strong arms wrap around your stomach and hold you tight. With the music so loud there had been no chance of you hearing the intruder enter…

Before you could panic you heard the familiar low rumble of your boyfriend’s voice in your ear “it’s only me baby” he hummed, noticing how you panicked.

You giggled and grasped his hands, confused by how he was acting. If Mingi joined you in the shower it was normal to -FUCK- you know… If he wanted you he would’ve pressed you into the wall by now, which means he must be tired….

You leant back on his shoulder to look at him. There he stood with his hair slightly sweaty and eyes tired as he looked down at you. You smiled at him “long day babe?” You asked and he nodded, his lip jotting out in a pout.

With one quick turn you spun around to face him and leant up to kiss him softly. When you pulled away his eyes remained closer for awhile and you thought they may not open because he’d fallen asleep. “let’s get you washed up then Min- gotta get to bed” you smiled at him, his eyes flicked opened and the pout was soon replaced with a smile.

Mingi was so tired that you did most of the work, shampooing his hair, conditioning it, scrubbing him clean. You knew being an idol was hard- sometimes he wouldn’t come home till the morning because he was practicing until the skies turn black. But not even being able to hold himself up or keep his eyes open was new. But you’d be there to take care of him…

Once finally in bed he was quick to pull you into a hug, which you reciprocated. Your hands ran to his hair and you played with it gently. As you lay there you spoke “no matter what Min, I’ll always be here to take care of you. On the good days and bad days”… you told him. He mumbled “I love you” in response, his voice hardly a whisper and you knew that he was trying to sleep. “I love you too my star”
