Dreamtale Sans Update

Check his website for the newest download links!

This update took 8 months but definitely worth it. Here's the list!

Additions:

New Collaborator! 🤝 @wyrm-in-the-apple, co-writer of Black Apple Blues helps with the ghost now!!! Redone Goopmode 🐙 Entire shell is redone, as well as much of the dialogue. You can see this by either doing the negative route, OR by booting him on Halloween! Redrew some poses 🧸 This includes the shrug pose, some others I forgot, and the doll pose. Also there's a new doll. And the pre-existing doll dialogue works now. Changed ACT Options ❓ Now you can read him some stories or whatever. Dialogue Replacing 🔊 A lot of the dialogue was replaced to fit better with the Black Apple Blues series, which is... ABOUT him, so it'd be weird to have them contradict each other lol. New Icon 🍎 Now there'll actually be something in your task tray thing! Just a little cute. More Book References 📕 When I first made the ghost I just pulled Night's book summaries from the Hunter and Smoker ghost, but I decided it'd be funnier to add a bunch of my own that actually reference AUs and maybe remove a few that weren't fitting. Rewrote the readme.txt 🧾 Who can resist?

Tweaks: SSP Menu 🎀 Touched up the right click menu because the old one was fuzzy. It's basically the same, though. Rebalanced Negative Route 💦 The old one took FOREVER and now there's some behind the scenes restructuring with negact and posact and villagelevel to make it faster.

Bugfixes:

Talk Function 🗣 The talking function would only work if you waited or pressed "t" on your keyboard, and the one in the menu didn't work. This is fixed. Cutscenes work 🎬 I fix this every update don't I? Sleeping 🛌 skeleton will no longer fall into the superposition of being both asleep and awake Relationship Level 💔 Fixed deleting your relationship level value when updating ??? 🛠 Various typos and other stuff

🥳: Who are the most energetic in the system?

Well, the most energetic is uuuh probably Jack, Joey, & Jingles. The J Triplets. They're around 10-12 and have that endless energy that young kids always seem to have. Not a lot of my alters are energetic, excitable yes, but not really energetic

💥: Are there any alters that have more power than others (can manipulate dreams, change the innerworld easily, etc)?

Oh absolutely. We all have little rooms/sections that we can have a little control but Question is the one who has full control over any and everything in the headspace. It says that it's the one who created it. Don't think anyone has control over our dreams but alters can influence them. But I think Bonnie and Nightmare help to actually give us good dreams if we're having a rather bad dream

📕: Any alters with accents that don’t match the body?

PLENTY -stares at all my British alters-

We don't put on any accents because we mask a LOT and that would out us but there are plenty of alters who sound different from the body.

💛: Any best friends/siblings/partners in the system?

I don't have any partners in my system yet, but I definitely have a lot of friends and family!

Susie is my sister and Blitz is like a older brother! Habit is my in system dad. I'm friends with Jean-Pierre, Olly, and Kris. Chara is my best friends ever actually. I love them a lot.

💫: How do you experience switches (what does it feel/look like for you)?

Switches feel like everything around me is just... slowly fuzzy like when you unfocus a camera and everything in the picture becomes blurry. I'm typically somewhat aware of what's going on but only slightly. I don't feel connect to anything and can't remember much that happens during that time. From a outside perspective, it'll look like I only zoned out for a second before another alter takes over. Those are the most common ones I have.

The like,,, switches that let me fully enter the headspace is a lot more disorienting and strange feeling. I see things differently there and it's off putting. Like feeling yourself slip under water or something?

😲: Who was the first to front (other than the host at the time) after your system was discovered?

Jevil or Nightmare. They were pretty active once I discovered my system and took over stuff for a while before I became host

uhhh Washington DC! It was years ago so my memory’s fuzzy, but it was a lot fun!! The museums are absolutely worth the hype tbh fsdgjhdfs

love me some good ol’ angst ofc, but I also love hurt/comfort, found family, healing after trauma, and fluff!

hmm... anything sm.ut related, though I also haven’t really written much for that to begin with, fluff (I feel like I tend to sound like Kronk with the whole “Kuzco’s poison/the poison for Kuzco” but I still love writing it sdgfjd), and definitely anything medieval influenced/based which is proving to be a fun but interesting challenge over on my new blog gfhjdfs

uhh... I am a Literal cryptid in my neighborhood. When we were moving, my dad was doing a lot of it since I often closed and wasn’t off when he was because holiday season in retail (and my mom was busy with her work), so he got to meet our neighbors and was introducing us to them without me and my mom being there. But, um. they met my mom! and since I only ever left the house for work (which, at the time, was three/four days a week and in the afternoon because I was often closing), I didn’t see my neighbors! And then I met one of them when I was pulling up the trash cans one day, and after I introduced myself he straight up told me he thought my dad made me up SFGJHKFSDKHJ - it’s been almost two years and I still don’t know the neighbors like my dad does sfgjhsdf

I’m queer and I can’t drive or do math and I’m pretty certain it’s because my best friend/my actual soulmate can do both sdfjhksdf

I once stopped someone from stealing some sports cards and my coworkers didn’t even realize what was happening because I was, and I quote, “so polite” sfgdjhksdf
