the morning you had woken up to was anything but pleasant. expecting to awake to a lovely morning where you'd learn more about what it would take to be a suiting ruler to your kingdom, since you are, or were the next ruler, but instead you were met with a talk from your parents, telling you to find a lover so that the country would finally have a fitting ruler for it.

you were shocked, and frustrated upon hearing this, did your parents not think you were suited for the role, did the citizens of the land think so? did everyone expect you to simply accept this notion, to cast aside your learnings and find a partner, to hand them the role instead? were you expected to simply sit by your lovers side? smiling and nodding like a dumb fool who knows nothing? 

at first you had blatantly rejected the thought, there was no way you'd accept it, but your parents didn't listen,  casting aside your thoughts on the matter as they handed you a list of possible suitors before leaving you. 

the rest of the morning went by as a blur, servants and maids coming in and out to give you your clothes for the day, dressing you up to be fit to see your first possible lover, both a woman and man coming in with 'tips' on how to woo women and men. you scoffed, this really was no joke, you really were being cast to the side and labelled 'unfit for ruling' .

the last preparation for your meeting was the most surprising. a man walked in, with white hair contrasting his darkened skin. 

the man bowed and introduced himself, "i am cyno, majesty [name], i hail from the desert and was appointed as your bodyguard whilst you meet your suitors" he introduced, standing up to look you in the eye. "your first suitor is waiting in the palace gardens, prince derek" cyno began walking towards the door and you suddenly ran in panic to block the door. "wait" you spluttered, "excuse me but this is all too sudden, first of all i would ask for some background information on the prince, and second of all, what about you? do you expect to sit down beside this prince derek and i as we chat?"

"prince derek comes from the land of mondstadt and works as a knight in the knights of favonius, his father is a big figure within the knights and is a relative from one of the big three clans in mondstadt, the lawrence clan" cyno infomed, "and i will not be sitting beside the both of you, i will be nearby ready to strike if the suitor does anything possibly harmful. i'm simply there as a precaution. now excuse my behavior, but we must go to meet prince derek"

you stayed blocking the door, you were not going to give up so easily. "i do sincerely apologise for making your job so difficult right now cyno, but i simply refuse. you can't expect me to accept this so easily do you?" you pleaded, trying to gain a little favor from the man, but cyno's eyes stayed the same, he stayed looking at you with the same poker face. "your parents, the king and queen, did say you might not go with so easily, but your majesty [name] they implore you to meet the suitor, and the king's words are the law" 

you sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose, "look how about we make a deal, however unprofessional this may look, i will go meet my suitors and after five minutes you will escort me out claiming something was wro-"

"forgive me for interrupting you but i decline, like i stated before the kings word is the law and i must abide it, you must go meet prince derek, in the gardens now" you looked at cyno and knew you were fighting a losing battle, biting your lip you stepped aside and allowed the man to open the door to lead you outside. glumly following cyno, there was a silence as you walked down the palace steps towards the gardens. "is there any chance to-" you started before cyno shut you off, "prince derek from the land of wind an freedom, sits at the table under the apple tree, i will be nearby ready to escort you away the moment you call for me, no questions asked" cyno bowed as he opened the door to the garden. you inwardly smiled as you whispered a small, quick "thank you" before walking towards your first suitor. 

"ah there you are, [name]. i thought i'd have to wait longer, which really shouldn't happen, i mean i am from the lawrence clan afterall, i have ladies and gents lining up to meet me" the prince stated, grabbing your hand to kiss it. "greetings prince derek, i am as you know [name] and i know the original reason behind your stay is to possibly become my lover but how about we start with simple introductions and build up to the romance?" you greeted, taking your hand away from the man and smiling gently. derek smiled and laughed obnoxiously loud, "of course of course, i apologise for my behavior if it offended you in any way. shall we have a taste of this apple tart? i heard it was made by some commoner but it's still quite delicious" 

you bit the inside of your cheek and glanced at cyno who was standing by a wall nearby quietly. "of course, thie tart is one of my favourites and the baker is a long time family friend, regardless of the family's status" you explained, trying to stop the annoyance and bitterness in your voice from showing. "ah is that so?" derek replied awkwardly. "like i said it's delectable, though the chefs in the lawrence clan could bake a better tart believe me, i could show you it sometime" 

"that won't be necessary, i don't think we'll see eachother after this" you rejected the offer with a smile, "i apologise but i don't think you're who i'm looking for" you firmly stated as you stood up. "w-wait! please [name] i'm sure we could make things-" derek was cut off with a hand on his shoulder, "the majesty has already rejected you, the servants will get ready a carriage in a short time" cyno said with a stare. derek let out a sound of fear and nodded as a maid came to escort him away. 

you sat down on the bench with a sigh, "how many more suitors must i meet?" 

"there's a list of thirty suitors from all lands" 

you let your head fall into your hands in frustration, you felt tears form in your eyes as you furiously blinked them away. looking at cyno, you smiled, "that's fine, thirty more? it'll be over soon" you replied in fake optimism. 

and so the cycle continued for a few weeks, you met one suitor a day for almost four week and you were tired from constantly smiling and rejecting every man and woman who came.

you currently sat on a couch in your private library, cyno sat on the other end of the couch stiffly. you glanced over at him and laughed quietly. "you do know it doesn't kill anyone to relax for a second right?" you addressed him. "as your guard yes, it can possibly kill you if i relax" cyno replied. sighing, you relaxed your body so that it would sink into the couch more. "what did one wall say to the other?" you opened your mouth slightly, in shock. "what?"

"i'll meet you at that corner"

there was silence before cyno spoke up again, "it's because the walls-" you interrupted him, "no no, i understood the joke, i'm just, surprised i suppose. i was not expecting for you to joke" 

"you seemed tired so i tried lightening the mood. i hope you feel better [na- majesty [name]" cyno explained

"was that a title slip i heard?" you teased, poking cyno's side. "no majesty [name], it was not" you hummed, "i suppose i misheard then" 

again there was silence, but this time, it was a more comfortable one. except you couldn't help but steal small glances at cyno. you couldn't help it, at this moment he seemed so ethereal. 'it's the fatigue talking' 

but that 'fatigue' never left. your parents were in a fit trying to find more suitors for you and they appointed cyno as your personal guard, which made you more closer to him than before. small glances here and there, looks cyno pretended he didn't see. 

it felt wrong. cyno was a guard and you were the next ruler's lover. your future partner was to be a well known figure not cyno, but you couldn't help it. every day you spent more time thinking about your guard, his eyes, how they seemed so red and sharp but up close they were a more orange colour and were nice to stare at. his facial features, oh so handsome you couldn't help these thoughts. his jokes, no matter how awful, made up for the small glimmer in his eyes as you laughed at them. you shouldn't have these thoughts about cyno and yet the more you tried to stop, the more it hit you. 

you had fallen for your guard. but what a sweet guard he was. he'd always be by your side, he listened to your rambles, he let you rant about your parents, your troubles. he was always with you. 

you sat beside cyno as he showed you a favourite card game of his, but you were barely listening to his words, instead you focused on his lips, how soft the looked and his eyes, how they shined while he spoke. 

"are you going to stare or will you actually listen?" cyno asked, snapping you out of your trance. "oh, i apologise, i got distracted" you replied with a faint blush appearing on your cheeks. you stood up and smiled "i need to go to the bathroom, i'll be quick" cyno nodded and you left to the bathroom. while in there you stood by the sink and took a deep breath to relax. 'you mustn't do anything brash [name], relax' taking a few more quick breathes you exited the bathroom and headed back to the library but stopped at the door once you heard another voice alongside cyno's

"you're leaving tomorrow right? back to the desert" the voice asked.

"yes, thank you for the job, it was nice whilst it lasted" cyno replied

"any family? perhaps a lover?"

"family? no, they're long gone and.. a possible lover" 

you took a step back, feeling a small twisted pain in your heart as you heard cyno's answer. oh how you had messed up. a part of you had known this might happen, but you had rejected it, denied it. you refused to believe it was the truth. tears started to form as you stepped into the room, faking a smile.

"afternoon" you greeted, the voice had been one of the servants in the castle, he worked closely with your mother. 

"greetings, majesty [name]. i must apologise, i must go now" the servant said, leaving the room immediately.

you sat down beside cyno and started fiddling with your fingers. there was silence begore cyno spoke up. "why are you crying?" you bit your lip, should you lie or tell the truth? "when were you going to tell me.."

"tell you what?"

"that your leaving, tomorrow"

silence. you tried looking at cyno but he looked away. "i wasn't planning on telling you" he mumbled, "i don't want to cause you any pain" 

you raised an eyebrow, "cause me any pain? you'd cause me more pain by leaving without a word you know" 

finally, cyno turned to you and looked straight into your eyes as hs spoke the next words. "[name], majesty [name] don't act stupid. i've seen the looks you give me, you.. like me. in a different way one would like their guard and, i didn't want to hurt you by telling you i didn't like you the same" 

you laughed, "again, you didn't want to hurt me but what you're doing hurts more. you let me have these feelings, for weeks, let them grow, and you noticed, but said nothing at all. it would've hurt less had you spoken about it earlier but forget it now. don't bother trying to see me tomorrow when you leave, in fact, try to leave as early as possible. i don't want to see you anymore"

you left the room in a hurry, leaving cyno alone. tears fell down your cheeks as you walked to your bedroom. the pain in your heart grew and it longed to be near cyno, to let him comfort you. but he caused this pain and your mind told you if you came back now, you'd be in more pain.

all you could do was scrunch your nose as he baby-talks to you like you’re a cute kitten or a puppy he’s petting. “my cute little kitty!” his eyes shine brightly as he squishes your cheeks once again, not being able to hold back the cuteness aggression he’s feeling from how cute you looked in that newly bought beanie.

your eyes widen and you muffle out while your lips are formed in the shape of a fish which makes it hard for you to not sound muffled. “m’not a kitty…” you stare up at him, an unamused expression in your face as the tall boy towering above you continues to baby-talk you.

ni-ki rolls his eyes softly as he looks down at you. “it would be weird to call my older friend kitty, don’t you think?” he raises a brow at you, a playful smirk plastered on his lips. “it’s weird calling me kitty, don’t you think?” you ask him in the same tone that he used just now, still glaring up at him with a pout.

In many ways, you haven’t really ever felt FREE in your beingness. You don’t really know how FREE truly would feel like. You can imagine it, but you don’t really know if that’s even real🤷🏻‍♀️

Whether it’s status, prestige, or simply beauty, sometimes you’ve felt victimised by the very things other people wish they had. They literally don’t know how suffocating it is to be wearing your crown~ You often feel like you don’t have autonomy over your own Life. In some instances, you may even have experienced your autonomy getting violated. And it’s so heartbreaking.

At some point in Life, you will suddenly and gradually lose access to all of these beauties and privileges, maybe even some of your talents, babe. All these things that came ever so naturally to you, once you’ve lost ‘em, you will die in spirit, and be reborn with a renewed sense of appreciation for the fact you have always, ALWAYS, been extraordinary👿

You may have come from a background of lack just to make this whole scenario more exciting (to us as Souls contrasts are exceedingly attractive when thinking of a spiritual breakthrough). With that, you could’ve grown up with lots of daydreaming about feeling fulfilled—emotionally fulfilled.

Though you may have daydreamed about luxurious environments and things and situations, at the core of everything, all you yearn for is a feeling of safety; stability; of having just enough…of being enough, in fact…all because you weren’t emotionally nurtured as a child. You were the kid who were neglected by everybody, both the adults and your peers.

You felt unseen most of your Life. But even those who acted like they saw you, somehow the view was inaccurate. You felt this way because you didn’t understand yourself either. Children learn about themselves through the feedback of their environment; so the ones who were mostly neglected…how could such children even begin to learn to comprehend their identity?

Because you didn’t really understand yourself, it was difficult to manifest properly. In your psyche, there are way too many threads of wishes that are tangled up, causing you to manifest clashing Realities…and then disappoint you…

The reason for this difficulty is that you needed to learn and discover for yourself the true Essence of being alive. You are essentially God’s messenger to help Humans overcome their addiction to material possessions. Omaigosh if you know how TikTok shopping culture is making people poorer and more miserable in the emotional, I’m sure this will ring a bell in your Soul Memory.

People who grew up poor are the main target of evil marketing because they crave that feeling of ‘having’. Sometimes, it’s a feeling of having things—trendy things; some other times, it’s a feeling of having friends—cool friends; and some tragical times, of having someone to love—which usually only translates to ONS or casual hookups without any real emotional connection.

Anyway, back to talking about material possessions though, there’s this:

This, is a concept, a Reality, you’ve needed to learn and fully comprehend, and then unravel by means of your personal spiritual transformation. That way you can be an example and a guide to others. Reminiscent of Uncle George himself, you’re somebody who holds an Elder Archetype aenergy about you. You’re ‘worldly’ in the sense that you’re based, well-thinking, and most of all, you can embrace perspectives that are UNIQUE. You’re able to hold a knowledge that encompasses the whole of the Universe itself.

I woke up feeling groggy and exhausted from the events of the day before, rolling over to see Daryl still laid out on the makeshift bed of blankets on the ground by my bed

“Daryl?” I said reaching down and shaking his shoulder

“Hmm?” He groaned opening his eyes to look up at me

“It’s morning, do you wanna go get some breakfast?”

“Sure”

I got up and rummaged through my drawers pulling out a pair of black leggings and longsleeve white shirt that had a tiny pink bow on the collar

“Mind if I change here?” I asked seeing as Daryl was already looking at me

“Go fer it”

I turned around and undressed throwing my pajamas in my laundry bin then quickly putting on the new days outfit, when I finished I turned seeing him with a wide smile

“What?”

“Cute panties” he said laughing under his breath obviously talking about my pink panties with white little lace trimming

“Stop” I said lighting pushing his arm

“As if yours are any better” I said as we both looked at his plaid boxer

We went out to the diner and had some breakfast, I didn’t wanna stay in the house knowing Jackson was still there

May was there and took our orders when we sat at the counter

“Thanks again for staying with me last night” I said as I stirred my straw in my water hearing the ice cubes clink together

“ ‘s nothin, didn’ wanna leave ya there knowin those assholes were still there” he said shrugging

It was silent for a while after that as we got our food and ate in peaceful silence, then paying May and leaving

“Wanna come over?” He asked as the dinner door behind us rang as it shut behind us

“Sure I don’t have anything else to do!”

He showed me around, he lived in a little house on the edge of town near the woods, more like a cabin than a house and if it got cleaned up and decorated nice, it would make a cute home

“I know it ain’t much but it’s enough” he said obviously feeling ashamed as we sat on his bed facing eachother

“I’m not judging you Daryl” I smiled, he nodded as I saw a flush of red on his cheeks

I looked around his room never having been in a guys room before, but it seemed like the typical you’d expect, light brown walls, cross bow in the corner, plaids upon plaids hanging in his closet, a page ripped out of a busy magazine and tapped to the wall

“I see you got a type” I said trying to hide the laugh that was creeping up as he quickly turned to look at it by his bed post

He ripped it down and threw is in the trash in the corner of his room

“Damn Merle musta put that up”

“Suuuuuuure”

“Ain’t my type anyways” he grumbled under his breath

“Oh and what is?” He looked me up and down before looking back at his lap

“H/c, e/c, she gotta be nice a little bit more quiet, can’t stand lots o’ noise”

“Hmmm I see” atleast he kind of described me, I had the hair color, the eye color, I’m pretty nice I think and I’m pretty quiet but I’m not gonna read into it just to get my heart broken

“So Mr. Dixon what makes you Daryl, what do you like”

“Not much, like huntin, tattoos, bikes”

“Do you have tattoos?” I asked intrigued

“Got two on my back”

“Can I see?” I could tell he tensed up and wasn’t so keen on the idea

“Maybe another time” he said looking down again

“Okay no problem!” I said a bit cheerier to life the tension

It was silent for a while until he got up off the bed and crouched down under his bed by me pulling out a box and placing it infront of me and he sat back infront of me

“What’s this?”

“Got ya somethin, saw it in a store, cleaned em up as best I could” he was blushing again and I was beyond excited to even see what he got me

I opened the lid of the box and my heart stopped, it was a pair of ballet slippers, shiny pink with ribbons, the bottoms were a bit stained but it’s expected

“Daryl……..you got these for me?” I was stunned no one has ever done anything like this for me

“Was looking around hopin I could find somethin, don’t know if they’ll fit tho”

I hopped up taking off my socks and slipped them on, I stood up and they were a perfect fit, Daryl got on his knees before me and laced the ribbon around my leg tying it in a bow

“Ya like em?” He asked looking down at me as he stood up

“Daryl I love them, thank you so much!” I said so happy I threw my arms around his shoulders and pulled him into a hug, feeling his hands on my lower back, engulfing it, I pulled back slowly our lips so close I could feel his breath, smoky but mint

“Thought ya deserve ta feel like a ballerina” he whispered

I couldn’t hold it in anymore, I leaned in ever so slowly our lips just grazing each others…………when the door burst open

“Damn it Merle” Daryl groaned as we stepped back from eachother

“Woah sorry brother, didn’t know ya had a lady over”

“Get out” he said trying to push him out

“Just came ta tell ya, dads comin home soon” he stiffened and looked back at me as I stood there embarrassed

“Do ya wanna go out fer dinner or somethin?” He asked with pleading eyes

“Of course! We can go to the diner again!” I took my slippers off and put the in the box as I pick up my socks and we went to the front door to put on our shoes, then walking quietly to the diner

“Are you okay D?” I asked worried

“ ‘s nothin, old man just ain’t the meetin type”

“Oh well, you know I’m always here for you, you can stay at my place whenever you’d like!”

“Thanks, might take ya up on that, yer gonna have ta show me yer moves with yer new slippers” he smiled as he placed his arm around my shoulder

I couldn’t believe all this was happening, it’s been such a short time since I’ve really known him and he’s already done more for me than anyone else, and made me feel more alive, I might really like this Dixon

Your left hand was covered in one giant tattoo that made it look like you were a skeleton. All of your causal/civilian clothes were the Steven Rhodes t-shirts and hoodies.

God forbid anyone lets you pick the movie during movie night . It was gonna be scary obviously. This night you picked Sinister (2012) forcing everyone in the common room. It only got worse when few of your teammates confessed they've never seen it. There you sat grinning wildly knowing the whole movie play by play. Having the ability to mentally time each up in coming jumpscare in your head laughing and smiling to yourself prepared for each scare ,glancing up at them wanting to see their reaction. The infamous lawn mower scene had just happened causing everyone but you to jump and yelp a little , instead you laughed and smiled happily at their reactions finding the whole thing amusing.

Fast forward weeks later,you were sitting on the couch scrolling your phone with " " (This is where you insert whoever you want lol). You both got bored after a while, you move and lay your head onto their lap "wanna watch a movie?" you ask looking up at them "I'll pick" you sang dragging the words smiling . They laughed smiling back "and what horror movie has the honors of your picking today mmph?" they remarked . You sat up and playfully huffed with fake offended expression on your face , putting your hand to your chest "Now who said it was gonna be a horror movie ?" you replied holding back a giggle

"you get called "horrorjunkie" for a reason " they said with a chuckle. You crossed your arms smirking "Touche", you grab the remote and start looking through the horror movie collection on Netflix " How about The Strangers ?" you ask looking at your partner . "Again ? we've watched like ten times already,why do you like it so much?"

you gasped "how could I not love it? its's such a classic !, and the timing of its release ! It was something never done before ! it scared the shitout everyone making them fear being in their own homes,making them worry when answering their door and the simple fact it was based off a true event?!?! absolutely sickening" you explained in a fast and excited manner.

And that's how you both spent the rest of your night and ranting about each of your beloved scary movies along with the cast,the directors ,the lore,the meaning and messages behind them, the remakes and sequels all of it
