also wow!!!! obviously i wasn’t going to look through the entire list of people credited in this picture but zu and neahchanart were in the credits. both are known proshippers, especially neahchanart who is a gooner 1000x

theres probably more proshippers/problematic people in this credit list but if im going to be completely honest, its not worth it

also like i said before, there are multiple sanses on this list that belong to problematic creators and it raises a lot of red flags. yes, i saw cornmayors response to this, yes it completely contradicts a lot of shit because they’re in the fandom and they would damn well know that lust is a problematic character that belongs to a problematic creator. anyway!!!!

What a watered down perspective of punk values and ideals to have.

As someone who's been punk openly since 12 years old* lets talk about it: Being pro censorship is fascist. There's a fantastic breakdown from @/the-foxes-system explaining and breaking down the false beliefs behind the antiship movement I'll link here

You cannot be punk and pro censorship- just like you cannot be punk and pro capitalist, a bigot, or anything that goes against punk values.

As much as punk is rooted in music, that root comes from the lyrics and communities SURROUNDING that music- but you don't have to like punk rock to be punk, that should be obvious.

Also, seeing a minor in online spaces coining terms they barely understand is quite worrying- watching people live in echo chambers they can't break out of will always be worrying and I sincerely hope there's some maturity gained at some point, as well as some perspective gained.

*Why am I saying how old I was? Because the longer you're in punk communities and the longer you're punk, the greater understanding you have of being punk. I have an actual understanding of the values of not only punk spaces, but anti fascist and leftist politics and views. It's important for minors and new punks to actively challenge their biases, which it's clear the coiner of the term systempunk isn't
