CARD GAMES .

You better bet that Remy loves teaching you how to play card games. Nothing like poker or anything, but kid games like Go Fish and UNO. He’s always glad to pull out a deck of cards when you say you’re bored and play with you for hours on end. Despite being amazing with card games, he lets you win just about every other round. He wants to make sure both of you have fun and no one ends up pouting and crying.

If you’re a particularly sensitive little, he lets you win every single time. Even if the rules of the game are tight, he’s going to find a way to let you win.

If you’re a little one who likes a bit of a challenge, he’ll play more intensely with you. He loves to see that adorable smile on your face when you know you’re about to win against him.

Either way, it ends in praises and high fives for you doing so well.

RULES .

Remy doesn’t have a lot of rules for when you’re little. He trusts you won’t do anything idiotic, but he has rules set in place to make sure of it. If you ever break any of his rules, he’s never mad at you. He might sound a little irritated, but he’s just concerned and scared for you for the most part. He’ll make sure you’re alright, call you sweet names, hold your hand, and even take you out for a little treat. That man will do anything if it means you understand he’s not mad at you.

NAMES .

As far as names go, Remy calls you “cher” or “mon chéri” all the time. He refuses to call you anything else than those two names when you’re little.

“You like t’little toy Gambit got for y’cher?”

“Does mon chéri need anythin’?”

“Look a’you, cher. Gambit’s so proud of you.”

You always giggle when Remy calls you either name. Sometimes he says it so much that you remind him that you have an actual name, but he shrugs in response. He prefers the name he’s given to you over anything else.

CLINGY BEHAVIORS .

Although Remy is really lax about rules and regulations for when you’re little, he is constantly with you. All the time. He will not leave you alone. Even if you’re upset about something, he’ll do whatever he can to get you to talk to him about it rather than shutting yourself in your room.

He’ll cater to your love language too. If you prefer gifts, he’ll sit on the living room floor with you and make some cute crafts with you, or he’ll take you to the mall and go to every single store with you until you find something you want. If you like quality time, he’ll sit on the couch all day with you and watch whatever movie or show you want. Acts of service? You know how much this man likes to cook. He loves to make food for you if you don’t feel like it. Scratch that; he’ll let you lay around and get you anything you ask for so you don’t have to move a muscle. Words of affirmation from him are endless praises and compliments. He tells you how cute you are, how you’re such an amazing kid, that he’s proud of you, the whole deal. He’s a sucker for physical affection too. He loves it when you wrap your arms around one of his, hold his hand, lay your head in his lap, or are just snuggled up against him.

i wish some of y'all gambit fans would recognize that him & rogue aren't a couple yet in the show. i also wish y'all would stop projecting an unreal version of him that lives in your head onto his canon character. the amount of people, especially men specifically, I've seen saying he's been cucked, cheated on, or is a groveling simp is surprisingly growing and it's just clear y'all have no idea who he is as a character if that's what y'all think is happening. the amount of people I've seen call rogue derogatory terms and saying so much nasty things about her too is genuinely so disgusting to see. they aren't together yet, they aren't dating, they aren't a couple.

y'all simply don't understand these two characters and choose instead to take what you see at the most minimal face value and run with that. y'all forget how terrified rogue is of killing him with her powers, how terrified she is of her feelings for him, of everything. and on the other hand, y'all forget how gambit is devoted to her, how he understands her limits & what she's dealing with, and most of all, y'all forget he doesn't see himself as redeeming. he doesn't see himself as worthy of being hers, of her being his.

X-Men 97 is literally a continuation of the original cartoon, there's been no big time jump, it's literally the Next Day. for the love of all that's good, try to understand the characters in a more nuanced light and stop being misogynistic & petty over them.

✧.* honestly, gambit would be so much fun to have as a cg!!! he's very lax when it comes to rules and stuff, so that his little doesn't feel restricted and can have as much fun as they want!! :)

✧.* he still tries to be responsible when he needs to be, making sure you've eaten at least once that day, making sure you don't stay up too late, etc. he can't be too lax with bedtimes and things like that!!!

✧.* y'know how he refers to himself in the third person? he just switches out his name with whatever cg title his little calls him!!! if his little doesn't call him anything specific, he'll either keep referring to himself by name, or just default to "papa" :D

✧.* "How've you been, petit? You wanna spend some time with papa, hm? Sure thing, cher. :)"

✧.* he is constantly trying to find more activities for his little, to keep them entertained while they're regressed!!! one of the last things he'd want is for his little to be bored while they're regressed!!!

✧.* "You look bored, petit... Gambit's been practicin' some card tricks, if you wanna see 'em. Gambit ain't one for magic shows, but I can make a few exceptions!"

✧.* lets his little wear his trench coat!!! whenever the other x-men sees gambit without his coat, they can expect to find gambit's little wearing it!!! sometimes, he lets his little use it as a blanket while they nap :)

✧.* he's a big fan of cuddles, if his little lets him!!! he loves carrying around his little, hugging them, holding their hand, just sitting and having them in his arms... he's just very keen on physical contact!!! it makes him feel more connected with his little!!!

✧.* and he respects if his little doesn't want to be touched!!! he just uses his words to voice his affection instead!!! as long as his little is happy, then he's happy too.

✧.* absolutely loves to cook for his little!!! he loves trying to introduce his little to new orleans cuisine, since he grew up with it himself. it's even more fun to cook when he lets his little help him!!!

✧.* sometimes, he worries if he's a bad influence on his little. he can be a bit reckless at times, whether during battle or in an every day situation. he tries to be the best he can be when he's with his little, so he tries to be extra careful!!!

He watched people walking and playing with their dogs, and, despite not being the same kind of pet, he could not help but think about how he missed his cats. Hoping to take his mind of that, he took out his cards and flipped through them absentmindedly, until he felt someone else sit down on the bench beside him. Thinking of an even better way to get this thoughts off missing his cats, he said, "Hey, don' 'spose you'd be interested in seein' a card trick?"

A/N : “Bamb can we please get content other than X-Men agere?!” Not yet!!!!!! Please!!!!! My only CGs are fictional!!!! And I’m also in the process of writing a Wolvie request, Rogue headcanons, and tons of other stuff… ANYWAY uhm this is based off of one of my CG!Remy headcanons, so I hope y’all enjoy :]

Remy has been watching you all day. From the moment you came running to him because you had a nightmare at almost three in the morning, making you breakfast, watching Saturday morning cartoons, coloring with you, listening to some music, and playing card games with you. He was so tired right now. He tries his best to keep himself awake while being slumped against the couch. His hand absentmindedly runs up and down your back. You’re snuggled against his side with the back of your head pressing his chest. You kick your feet a bit off of the couch. Everything is so peaceful right now: Remy’s touch, his soft humming, your favorite movie on the TV, the sound of your legs moving against the fabric of the couch. You wouldn’t have it any other way.

Remy yawnes loudly, unable to contain his sleepy demeanor any longer. He moves his arm from your back to rest against your shoulder, his thumb reaching up and rubbing your cheek. “Gambit’s sorry, cher. I’m tired right now. I can barely keep my eyes open,” he mumbles while looking down at you with a tired gaze. It takes you a moment to process what he’s saying considering how focused you are. Once you get a second to take in what he said, you pout softly. You paw at his chest and give him a pitiful look while whining. He lets out a sad huff. Remy hates it when you’re sad. He doesn’t get angry; he just gets sad too. You’re his favorite little kid. He can’t let you be sad.

“Stay awake a little longer. Please, papa. I don’ want you to go to sleep,” you whine to him. Remy nods in understanding to your gentle pleading. “I know, mon chéri. But I can’ stand to be awake much longer,” he tells you. He displays an odd look on his face as he attempts to come up with a compromise. When he does, he kisses your forehead out of pure joy for thinking of such a good idea. “How ‘bout this? You an’ I go upstairs an’ cuddle. You can stay wit’ Gambit and he can stay wit’ you, cher,” he suggests with a sure smirk. Despite his confidence in his idea, you shake your head no. Remy bites the inside of his cheek nervously in response. He subconsciously holds his breath as worry begins to set in. He can’t let you go unsupervised or not be by his side. You and him have to be practically attached when you’re regressed. The last thing he wants is for you to end up lonely or anything worse. You go back to focusing on your movie, and Remy trusts himself; he could take a little power nap. Nothing too long, right?

 

He may have been a little far off. Next thing he knows, he’s waking up to a startling clanging and the sound of your feet quickly padding along the floor. He rubs his eyes and cards through his messy hair while looking around. The second he hears you crying, he goes into complete panic. “Oh! Mon chéri! Where are you? Are you okay? Are you hurt?” he asks out loud while getting onto his feet and trying to find you. You’re cowering in fear behind the couch, terrified that Remy is going to yell at you or punish you. However, when he finds you, he gives you the most genuine smile ever. He squats down and holds his hands out to you. “C’mon. Gambit ain’t mad. He is worried t’ough. He was scared you were hurt,” he explains to you while motioning for you to come into his arms. You nod your head and try your best to get to Remy your vision blurred by tears. “Dat’s it, mon chéri,” he praises as he pulls you to his chest. He wipes your tears and gently pets the back of your head with his warm hands.

“Now, care to tell Ol’ Remy what happened?” he asks sweetly. You nod your head against his chest slowly. You point over to the curtain rod that had fallen on the floor. Remy looks over with wide eyes and winces at the idea of every possibility of what could’ve happened. “I was walkin’ by the window and I slip on the curtain. I didn’ mean to make the metal thingy fall. I’m sorry, papa,” you explain, your voice quivering as you start crying again. “No, no, no. Dat ain’t no reason to be sorry. I promise. I don’t got any reason to be upset with you either. Long as mon chéri is safe,” he assures you, lifting up your hand to kiss the back of your palm. You giggle through your tears when he gives you the gentle kiss. Remy wipes another tear from your cheek and looks at you endearingly. “Dat’s it. Show Ol’ Remy dat adorable lil’ smile,” he coos. Out of impulse to do so, he pinches your cheeks softly, only resulting in more happy noises from you.

"She's not nearly as delightful as she thinks she is." The fact none of the women on this show like each other very much.

Like Cuddy and Cameron don't care for each other. Thirteen and Amber have a very antagonistic dynamic. It took Parks and Adams ages to warm up to each other. Cuddy finds Thirteens a bit of a headache.

Obviously Cuddy and Stacy got along for the most part but that's really it.

✧.* oh, definitely. he gets told by rogue that he needs to be more responsible with his little, but he just wants his little to be able to run freely and do as they please :)
