You know what I don't understand, but actually pisses me off when it happens?

When you start a thread with a new RP partner, and you think everything is going okay, and suddenly they softblock or block you completely, without explanation.

This has happened to me too many times to count.

And yes, I know - nobody owes anybody anything. But, Jesus Christ, Is it really that hard to communicate?

ignoring the fact that self-inserts can be ridiculously fun and shouldn't be treated as cringe because of it, i do think something can be said for how freeing they are. i've learned so much about myself as person by sitting down and writing silly little self insert dudes in my silly little favorite stories, and i genuinely don't think i'd be as comfortable in my own skin without them
