actually as a freshman with no friends on campus i had . well actually only two weird interactions with guys older than me but its still weird that two happened at all

there was that one guy from my classes but then there was that other guy who sat down at my table while i was eating dinner alone, under the pretense of needing to use the outlet by my table, and then just spoke to me for an entire fucking hour about how great and wonderful and beautiful England is. with the most baffling fucking arguments, like "all American art is derivative and unoriginal, because the english language is so old that everything has already been done in England before, nothing that americans make hasnt already been done before by the english" that kind of shit, but the kicker is this man is american too. he told me his family is english but back to the early 1800s like dude you are a fucking like original American Colonist at that point get over yourself you are the most american you could possibly be. just all around such a strange guy so fucking weird and then he tried to get me to go to THE BASEMENT!!!! with him .THE BASEMENT !!! like NO SIREEEEEEe it was so uncomfortable. SO uncomfortable but in hindsight so fucking hilarious. what the fuckwas up with that. i know i made a post about it immediately following it

Interesting how unit order is only ever brought up by certain fans of a certain unit and everyone else doesn’t care about it at all, I wonder why that is… 🤔

I might not be accurate about the push back but I know pre-reg was delayed by a few months plus wonder halloween clearly takes cues from the song (potato ghost being the play) rather than the other way around, which was also released waaaay before the game. Like I'm not saying they partially rewrote wonder halloween for a delayed release but it's very clear that the song preceeded some aspects of the event and the event functions outside the halloween theme. Other early producers including Oster Project who did the christmas song not receiving stories summaries + for the most part saying they were commissioned before a lot of the story was written backs up the fact that the seasonal ones could've been edited for delays. Uhhh anyway what was I talking about I got sidetracked.

Oh yeah so the character self intros were released in October 2019 which means they had a clearer idea of what the story would be at that point and would've already been working on events especially if the game was meant for a summer release. Devs writing wxs predates wxs ship war. I have no way of proving when the first JP fanworks for each wxs ship were produced but trust me on this. How far in advance does this fandom think events are written actually like i kno mixed events aren't done far in advance but like. People know unit events are done a year in advance right. They've always had certain story beats planned and the final arc enders have always been clear as well.

the air has shifted. i was able to sleep but still when i awoke my heart was pounding and i can’t breathe. because of… dan and phil.

maybe this doesnt mean anything. maybe im just a crazy phannie (well thats true no matter what happens but still).

however, this has happened to me before. twice. let me tell y’all about those times.

the first time, i want to say was august of 2016 (could be slightly off). i had been watching dan and phil for over a year but i was still pretty new to the phandom as a space. i was at my grandmas house just chilling upstairs when this photo hit the tumblr scene:

and oh. my. god. my stomach dropped. my heart started racing. i was pacing around the room going holy shit holy shit holy shit. this photo was a big deal at the time. it was dan’s first time letting his hair be natural at a m&g or youtube event. and, it was the first time ever we had seen dan wear nail polish.

when i woke up the next morning, i still couldnt breathe. the main thing is that i was surprised how much hold these youtubers had over my heart like jesus christ. but more importantly…

the. air. had. shifted. and i knew it.

this photo, to me, is the beginning of the soft launch era. it was after this that we got the halloween baking monster pops video, which entered our post baking universe. and it was after that we got the first gamingmas. but this photo, was the start of it all. the start of dan and phil tearing down the wall just a little and starting to be more themselves on camera.

the second time, is a bit more obvious of a shift. it was june 2019. the june video had been talked for over a year at this point. we weren’t really sure if it was happening or not. what it was. but we all had… ideas. but oh my goodness, the entire first 13 days of that month. i was just buzzing. i was freaking out. and i didnt know why!! well… i knew why. but surely two youtubers could not make me feel this way for two weeks straight. oh yes they could actually.

i think most of the lore around the brainrot trio is pretty spontaneous but it may go somewhere. i reckon it'd be pretty disconnected from most siivagunner lore. what's interesting is that there has been an effort to keep lore around them somewhat consistent unlike the halloween specials lol

2016 - main universe (reboot, ccc). wood man takes over the channel while siivagunner is asleep. 2017 - main universe (reboot, ccc). wood man pitches a movie he came up with to haltmann during the events of the ccc 2018/2019 - so... idk. maybe its own "halloween universe". it really doesn't check out with any of the established universes. back when i was trying to create a consensus on continuities some time around 2021, this is where i got stuck, because it calls back to both kfad and ccc, and includes jerome and reader... it's kind of a mess. i consider it a pocket dimension at this point, but maybe i'll try to rationalize it in the future. 2020 - main universe in illucidity. the ai runs this event, i dont remember there being a lore angle to this so it's pretty clear cut. unless im stupid and forgort somethng 2021 - i wasn't really involved in the making of the audio dramas at all, but i reckon they fit into their own little universe. dramaverse. idk. one could argue that they continue on from the 2018/2019 halloween universe due to some of the returning characters but i don't really wanna touch that shit right now. grr. 2022 - yeah. so the.. th... it's uhh. they're having a fun time okay. it's fun. dont think about it too much. look the siiva ai wasnt very good at continuity clearly okay. it had a small context window. leave it alone maybe 2023 - crying
