I love how we’ve all added a hug to our bkdk desperation because we know a handhold is inevitable but Hori keeps going beyond our expectations, and after everything they’ve been through, and the emotions displayed between them,, a hug is the perfect catharsis 🥹🥹

#I would like to note there's a HUGE Emphasis in the 'comparatively' in this case in particular. realistically‚ they're equal parts stupid #kyuuketsuki sugu shinu #the vampire dies in no time #tvdint #kyuushi #draluc #ronaldo #ronald #john #john the armadillo #hinaichi #It was SO HARD for me to tell which one of them would be best fit to be Tsukkomi & Boke respectively . you Have no idea #not to mention ALL OF THEM could've perfectly fit into the 'Moe through helplessness' category but obviously i couldn't put them all in orz #even now i'm not entirely satisfied w/ the way i organized them; it feels utterly Wrong in so many levels to call ronald a tsukkomi /hj /lh #I kinda just went with the logic of 'Well‚ their comedic routine usually revolves around him keeping Draluc in check somewhat right?'#i left it at that & called it a day bcuz otherwise i was just gonna keep on being hang up on that conundrum 🧎#...Why'd i become so preoccupied w/ giving proper characterization in a shitpost anyway?? Shoutout to the time my parent who listened to me ramble about Undertale lore and wanted to know how the characters looked like and I showed them to her and before I could explain to her which was who she started insulting the designs and calling them childish and immature and that's when it cemented my trust issues on her because if she's like this with Undertale how is she gonna react to Spamton?

People actually valuing the things I do is so shocking and heart warming to me. Like I guess my only "skills" (listen I don't have the self esteem to call them skills whole heartedly yet) are things that are often abstract and awkward to put into words. Like I can... talk to.... people? But also I really care and I try to bring as much insight and understanding as I can to a conversation. Sometimes I can be confusing or pedantic because autism but yknow other than that. People have really been vocal about telling me how much they appreciate that about me and its just so strange to me. I can't believe I can be valued for something that I do naturally.

#oh. oh... that last line makin me have some self reflective thoughts now #hoo..m i needa sit down... i dont feel so good /hj #this is making me wonder how my autism and adhd has maybe effected my self worth waaay more than i recognizes #im being valued now for my natural strengths.#and of course that feels weird to me because i thought that this was supposed to be hard #because people have demanded things of me that DONT come naturally to me as if they did for so so long #oh. huh okay. *holding back tears*#i thought being valued and worthy meant so much effort and work- and while i do still believe theres an unhealthy emphasis on this #in our society- i also realize that many of these things come naturally to allistic people #well probably at least... i dont naturally value the same things allistic people do either evidently. so j cant say for sure #but i know societal acceptance is often important and if you cant fit in youre seen as a 'project' at best :/#like yknow. the person who a couple people hang with but only as a charity effort. like theyre evangelising to me #except the religion is society and they cant give me a copy of the bible for that

Must villains have sympathetic motivations? Is it not simply enough that their choices cause fundamental strife for the heroes?

I really do #a cardboard-cutout villain makes for a poor story #BUT #consider the villain as a narrative device rather than a character in their own right #how does this device affect our hero?#how does this device influence them? motivate them? confuse them? scare them? change them?#that’s what the story is about #a story is only as good as its villain BECAUSE of how that villain interacts with the hero we’re focusing on #just because a villain isn’t deep doesn’t mean they’re badly written #as long as their conflict with the hero makes the HERO deep that’s what matters #and if you do make your villains complex #then please PLEASE have their complexity actually INTERACT with the hero’s complexity #writing #my thougts #yes this is about Infinity War retconning Thanos’s original motivation at the last minute

Hmmm i like both? Both is good. Although I do think we collectively find out of system dating more comforting because it feels more tangible to us. Its like, if we were all hypothetically going through it, an external partner could comfort us while my in sys partners might struggle to. However if we didn't have our current partner (who's understanding and wonderful and very supportive of our system), I think we'd probably find in sys relationships a lot easier than out of sys ones. Anyways both is good
