Pairing: Tim Drake/Jason Todd Words: 2.5k Tags: Alternate Universe - Urban Fantasy, Alternate Universe - Demons, Demon AU, Incubus Jason Todd, Getting Together, Kissing, Psychic Bond, Fluff
Tim doesn’t let Jason touch him.
semi-inspired by SalParadiseLost’s Demon!AU.
the first draft of this was written to comfort myself around a pretty negative anniversary. it helped a little <3 since then it’s just been waiting for me to wrap a cohesive narrative around it, which i think (hope) i’ve finally done.
title comes from work song by hozier, which i’ve listened to a totally normal amount of times <3
Tumblr media
Tim doesn’t let Jason touch him.
It’s true he’s not the most overtly tactile person, but he’s open with his affection to those who want it. He soaks up Dick’s hugs like a flower soaks up sunshine. Duke receives his fair share of hugs and shoulder pats—and Damian will take a post patrol fist-bump these days… or a hair ruffle, if he’s in a particularly good mood. Even Bruce gets a hug or, more often, their shoulders and arms end up pressed together as they work on cases.
As for Steph and Cass—well. The three of them seem to disregard the idea of personal space when together, piling atop each other like kittens.
The only exception is… Jason.
He knows he has no right to be bothered by it, especially since outside of that, their relationship is great. When Jason was first integrated into the patrol schedule, Tim was among the first to volunteer to pair with him. He never hesitates to work cases with him or rely on him for back-up—at least, not that Jason has ever seen. He banters with Jason, over comms and over dinner; includes him in conversations, no matter how trivial. He’ll even call or text Jason, randomly, just to chat; to vent about his day or ask Jason’s opinion on some stupid argument he’s having with one of his friends.
They’re close, in all ways except physical.
It’s more than he deserves.

stop confusing my name, dad!
AO3
Characters: Bruce Wayne, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, Barbara Gordon
Summary:
Bruce has too many children, or, 5 times Bruce calls his children by the wrong name.
A/N: this is inspired by this post by @in-fearful-day-in-raging-night. Please check them out! They post quality batfam things! The first four have dialogue stolen (with permission) directly from the post, and the last one is mine. I wanted to add one time Bruce got called the wrong name, but couldn't figure out how to do it properly, so... sorry?
***
It’s a quiet morning at the Manor. Too quiet, with two of his children currently on attendance. Admittedly they’re all here because they crashed after a truly exhausting patrol, but Bruce has trained his children well. They are never too tired to wreck havoc inside his home.
Bruce walks towards the kitchen silently. If his children are quiet, he can be quiet too. He has to catch them before they catch him, or the consequences (for him) will be even worse.
No one in the kitchen. At least, no one Bruce, with his extensive training, can detect. He walks in gingerly, still scanning the room for hostiles, namely, his children. If they are not in the kitchen, then they are somewhere else. He has to stay vigilant.
Yesterday night was truly an exhausting patrol. Why are his children like this?
A crash. Somewhere on the second floor.
Bruce runs towards it. He knows, logically, that it is most likely his children doing what passes as fun between them, but he can’t shake the nagging feeling inside him. What if it’s not his children? What if someone has come to hurt them? Bruce runs.
He stops dead in his tracks, however, when he sees Damian. Who is standing in front of Tim’s door, frantically trying to break it down, while dripping wet. Bruce distantly notices an upturned bucket some feet away from his youngest son, but he’s much more interested in the fact that his youngest son is breaking his other son’s door. That is made of solid wood.
He’s going to break himself. Bruce, with no other thought besides stopping Damian, says, “Dick, stop that! Wait, no.” Why is he calling Dick? It’s clearly Damian in front of him. So he tries again. “Jason,” no, that’s not right either, “no, Tim, ugh, Cass, I mean Damian! Stop that!”
Damian, who thankfully stops his assault on Tim’s door, glares up at him. “Father! How dare you confuse me with Drake!”
Bruce opens his mouth to scold Damian, because breaking down his siblings’ door is not acceptable behaviour, but then Tim’s door opens, revealing the boy himself. “Damian, he literally called everyone’s name, and that’s what you focus on?”
“He called me by your name! It’s a disgrace I will not stand on!”
“He went through everyone’s name! And I’m not a disgrace!”
“Ha! You admit you are a disgrace!”
“I literally just said I’m not a disgrace, you little brat. Are you even listening?”
Bruce sighs. Tim and Damian arguing is basically an everyday occurrence by now, but the headache it inflicts upon Bruce never stops. Why are his children like this?
“Enough!” Bruce shouts. “Damian, breaking down your siblings’ door is not acceptable. Jason, stop pranking your little brother,” because Bruce knows enough by now to be sure that the bucket was Tim’s doing.
Silence. Normally a Tim and Damian argument can’t be solved by just a simple admonishment, but Bruce is going to take what miracles the universe decides to give him. Bruce turns to go. He needs coffee, because yesterday night was truly an exhausting patrol, and he has work to do today.
That is, until Tim shrieks, “Jason?”
Oh no.
“You’re calling me Jason?” Tim scoffs. “Unbelievable.”
“Tim, Tim, wait, I’m sorry,” Bruce stammers, but Tim scoffs again.
“Jason. I’m done with this. Come on, Damian, let’s leave Bruce to his inability to remember his own children’s name,” Tim says. Then, he adds, low enough to pretend that he doesn’t want Bruce to hear, but just loud enough so that Bruce can hear it perfectly well, “Batman, my ass. Can’t even remember his children’s name.”
“For once, I agree with you, Drake.” For someone who is spitting mad at being called Tim just a few minutes ago, Damian follows Tim easily enough.
Oh no, oh no. Those two working together is going to be unstoppable. Bruce shudders to think about what they are going to do to him.
(He got locked out of the kitchen. And then his room. And then his car. Basically every door he tried to open today is locked. Even the entrance to the Cave is locked, and he made it. Why are his children like this?)
It’s always good whenever all his children are in Gotham, patrolling with him. Provided they are not there because of a massive Arkham breakout or an apocalypse that needed all hands on deck. It’s always good whenever all Bruce’s children are patrolling Gotham with him because they all decided to visit.
(He knows it’s the overbearing parent in him, but he likes all of them patrolling Gotham with him because if they are on patrol with him, they are not getting into any trouble he can’t help them out of. Ideally they would not be getting into any trouble at all, but Bruce knows his children. That hope had sailed long ago.)
Since they are all here tonight, Bruce decides to do one of his semi-regular sweeps of the illegal bars. There are a lot of them tonight-almost all of them, really, except for Black Bat who has her own mission tonight-so Bruce is hoping that this time the message will stick longer.
He left this at the very end of the patrol, when the bars are at their most crowded, so that it would hit even more people. Robin is already with him, of course, and he registers the rest of his children gathering next to him.
It’s not that complicated of a bust, so he feels comfortable just giving instructions on the go. “The patrons are not committing any serious crime, not yet, but they are planning to do so. We’ll stop the planning, but no use of force unless absolutely necessary.” He waits for confirmation from all of them, already pulling his mental map of the bar. “Nightwing, take the left entrance.” Wait. That’s not what Bruce meant. That’s not what Bruce meant at all. “No wait, Robin, no, Black Bat, Red Hood, Batgirl, whoever you are,” Bruce points at Tim, then clicks his fingers a few times. It doesn’t make that much noise, especially with the gauntlets on, but the gesture itself helped. “Red Robin!” Finally! His children change their names far too many times, Bruce swears. “Take the left.”
He’s greeted with silence from his children. Then Tim (Red Robin, Bruce’s mind helpfully supplied) said, “Wow, B, thanks for that.”
The statement from Tim seems to unlock the rest of his children’s mouth, because everyone starts talking all at once.
“Black Bat’s not even on this mission!”
“Wait, so-”
“I swear he does this all the time!”
“-who’s taking the left?”
Bruce decides to focus on the actually relevant question (thank you, Dick), and growls out, “Red Robin is taking the left. Nightwing will come with me and Robin through the front entrance. Batgirl, stay on the back entrance and handle any runners. Hood, take the right.”
Everyone seemed to be paying attention, for which Bruce is grateful for, but then, because his children will never let anything go, Jason said, “Are you sure it’s me who’s taking the right and not Robin?”
Stephanie looks like she also wants to add something, but Bruce cuts her out before that. “Yes. Now positions, everyone.”
They move, but it’s only because his children (and Bruce notes this with not a small sense of pride himself) are professionals. Bruce is sure that he will pay for this, with interest, but that can wait until after they finished this bust.
It’s just him and Dick, tonight. Robin has a test tomorrow, and Bruce knows that Damian is going to ace the test, patrol or no, but the rule has always been and will always be no patrol before a test, so Damian is staying in. The rest of his brood (Bruce has a brood now. He would have laughed had you tell him that a few years ago.) have their own cases, and so Bruce is patrolling with Dick.
It reminds him of days long passed.
“Robin, fall back and we’ll rendezvous at the docks,” Bruce says to his comms. Dick is a few blocks away, having split with Bruce to check in with someone he saved a couple weeks ago. It’s a quiet night, at any rate, and Bruce just wants to sweep the docks once and go back home.
There’s no answer from the comms. Bruce is starting to panic, because Dick knows better than to not answer his comms. He starts to move towards Dick’s location, while trying to hail Dick again, when Dick, finally, blessedly, answers, “Do you mean me?”
Bruce is so relieved to hear Dick’s voice that the meaning of his words doesn’t register to him for a minute. Why wouldn’t Dick think Bruce meant him? “Yes, of course I mean you,” Bruce says.
“B,” Dick’s voice sounds exasperated, even through the comms, “it’s been well over a decade since I’ve been Robin. There’s been four other Robins since me.”
Oh. Bruce mentally rewinds the conversation, only to shamefully realize that a, he did call Dick Robin, b, Robin, the actual Robin, is currently inside his room, and c, Dick is right. “Sorry, Nightwing.”
Bruce hears Dick sighs. “What should I do with you, B?”
“Next thing you know, he’ll be calling me Batgirl.” Oracle. “There’s a mugging two streets over, Batman. You might want to check it out with Robin.”
“Hey! Don’t lump me in with him, O! I know better than that!”
“It’s your fault. You’re the one who made him start taking in kids left and right,” Barbara says. “Go high, Nightwing.”
“You know I’ll always go high, Oracle.”
Bruce is content with letting the two of them banter as he takes down the mugger. He knows these two. They can run their mouth off, but they’ll still do their job perfectly. And besides, it is nice to hear Barbara’s voice. That just makes it feel more like the old days.
Bruce keeps his mouth shut though, partly because he’s still reeling from calling Dick Robin, and partly because he cannot trust himself to not call Barbara Batgirl. Like he said, tonight reminds him of the old days.
He finishes neutralizing the mugger at the same time as Nightwing emerges in his point of view. He checks the bindings one more time, then looks up.
“O, tell me something,” Nigthwing has a huge grin on his face, “you keep recordings of our comms, right?”
Oh no. Dick wouldn’t. Barbara wouldn’t.
“Of course, Nightwing. Is there something in particular you need?”
Then again, it’s Dick and Barbara. Robin and Batgirl. They would. They absolutely would.
“Can I get a recording of tonight’s conversation?” Dick looks Bruce right in the eyes as he says this. “I need to share it with my siblings.”
“It would be my pleasure,” Barbara says. Even Bruce can hear the smile in her voice, and he knows Dick would hear it even more. He can’t win against the two of them. He hasn’t been able to for years now. “Should I send it to Batgirl as well?”
“Oh, please do,” Dick says. “I can’t wait to see their reaction.”
Bruce sighs. Not so much like the old days, after all. At least back then, they didn’t have anyone to share his embarrassing moments with.
“Red Robin, what’s your position?” They’ve been trailing this particular shipment for a few weeks now, and Bruce wants to close this case as soon as possible.
“Uh… I’m standing next to you?” Tim says. Damn it. He’s doing it again.
“... Red Hood, what’s your position?” He can’t be blamed that his children choose very similar sounding code names. Even he can’t remember everything.
Of course, Jason would beg to differ. “Fuck you, B, if you can’t even tell us apart, I’m not telling you jackshit.”
Bruce sighs. “Hood, please, let’s just finish this now and have the pissing contest later. We need to stop the shipment from getting to the streets.”
“Fine, but only because I don’t want to let the drugs get on the streets. We will have the pissing contest later, mark my words.”
Bruce starts to feel relief, but it’s apparently too soon, because Tim (dear, dear Tim) says, “What about me? Stop forgetting my name, B.”
“Um, little bird, he forgot my name, not yours.”
“He substituted my name for yours! That means he forgot my name too!”
“Boys,” Bruce feels very strongly the urge to pinch the bridge of his nose, but forces it down because he’s wearing the cowl, “please stop arguing. Let’s, let’s just finish this. Please,” he whispered the last word, unsure whether it’s a plea or a prayer.
Tim looks at him, and Bruce has the feeling that Jason, from his own perch, is also looking down at him. Tim nods, and then eerily, both he and Jason say, “Fine,” at the same time.
Bruce knows that this is not over, not even close, but he’s so relieved that they agreed to shelf this for now. So he says again, making sure he says the right name, “Red Hood, what’s your position?”
“Up the second rig, Batman,” Jason answers. There’s still an underlying sense of Jason being pissed off, but at least he’s answering Bruce’s questions now.
“Noted. I’ll drop down on the sellers, and Red Hood, you’ll be coming with me,” Bruce recites the plan. He waits for the confirmation, but it doesn’t come.
“I thought I’m coming with you?” Why is Tim sounding so confused?
Damn. Damn. Bruce swears.
“You messed up our name again, didn’t you? Fuck you, B.”
Bruce swears again. This is going to be a long night.
“Batgirl, three men your way,” Bruce says.
“My way? Are you sure, Batman? I’m inside the vents?” Stephanie says.
This is getting ridiculous. Why does he keep mixing up his children’s name? He doesn’t even have that many of them. “Black Bat, three men your way.”
Cass looks back at him and gives him a smile that promises pain to everyone that dares to come her way. He knows he doesn’t need to give out warnings to Cass, but he still worries. He watches as Cass delivers perfect takedowns one after the other. It calms him, to know that Cass is much, much better than he is.
The sense of calm doesn’t last though, because his comms hiss alive again. “Did you just forget that I’m Batgirl?”
Bruce sighs. “No.” That’s the truth, too. He just mixes up the names sometimes. More than once, he wishes that his children aren’t passing down names and taking new ones every other year. It’s getting harder and harder to keep everything straight in his head.
“Wait, is this the thing Red keeps telling me about? You mixing everyone’s names up?” Stephanie sounds absolutely gleeful.
“No, Robin. Focus on the mission, please.”
Cass, who had casually taken down every thug in the area, walks over calmly to Bruce, and says, “You just called her Robin.”
Bruce freezes. Oh no. Now Stephanie’s never going to let this go.
“Did you just call me Robin?” There it is.
“Sorry, Batgirl.”
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it! Batman, mixing up people’s names! O sent me that recording of you calling Wing Robin, but I thought that’s that! I can’t believe it!”
“He mixes up Red Robin and Red Hood all the time,” Cass says.
“You didn’t! B! No wonder Red keeps bitching about it to me!”
“Are you in the command room yet, Batgirl?” Bruce swallows down his embarrassment. Focus on the mission. Focus on the mission.
“Yeah, I’m copying their data as we speak, B-man. How many times have you mixed up the Reds?”
Bruce considers lying, but then, Cass is right there. She would bust him right away.
“Three,” he grits out.
“Four,” Cass says.
“Three. The time with Condiment King doesn’t count.”
“Condiment King? Oh this conversation is gold. Please tell me the story, BB.”
Bruce closes his eyes. For the umpeteenth time, he asks himself, why are his children like this?

Heart Attack 2020
Hey friend!
Looks like you and I both like to write like the wind and suffer in the process, so without further ado, let’s go :D
Also, oops, my habit of procrastination has caught up with me… sorry about that!  Here’s a letter now at least…
   General DNW
non-con/dub-con;
explicit sexual content;
incest (incl. adoptive/chosen family);
a/b/o;
mpreg;
non-canonical permanent major character death;
complete downer endings;
hurt no comfort;
heavy angst;
on-page deliberate self-harm*;
on-page suicide;
gore;
graphic physical trauma;
character bashing;
cringe comedy;
fic-as-writer-soapbox;
fic that’s all about real-world bigotries or real-world politics;
canon-typical 2020;
unrequested full-setting AUs;
unrequested identity headcanons;
unrequested romance as the main plot.
*I don’t include things like, say, punching a wall in a fit of emotion under this. However, something like cutting would not be appreciated.
 *****
General Likes
– I really like plotty fics
– Secret identity and disguise shenanigans, the more layers to them and more absurdity the better.
– Crossdressing for whatever reason and gender disguises, also for whatever reason, though not as a fetish thing—that I enjoy less.
– Time travel and time loops are always fun, especially as a fix-it.  I have a general preference for Peggy Sue style (aka, an older character getting put back in their younger body at an earlier point in the timeline) over the character’s physical body stepping back in time, but either one is good.
– A focus on family and/or friendship, especially characters realizing they’re not nearly as alone as they think they are, and just generally characters who like each other and enjoy spending time together
– Found family; families of choice
– Character studies
– Worldbuilding
– Canon-divergence AUs and missing scenes; things set pre- or post-canon; wriggling into canon and poking at it to see what it spits back at you, if that description makes any sense at all.

·        Kirielle Kazinski & None (Mother of Learning)
·        Raynie & Kiana (Mother of Learning)
·        Neoluma-Manu Iljatir & Zach Noveda (Mother of Learning)
·        Alanic Zosk & Xvim Chao (Mother of Learning)
fandom-specific dnw: romantic and/or sexual Zach/Zorian; physical parental abuse within the Kazinski family; significant exaggeration of canonical emotional neglect/abuse/general family dysfunction
 Prompts:
If you want to write an AU, you can consider any AU requested for AUEx for Mother of Learning, as listed here, to be requested in this exchange as well, even if the requested characters aren’t requested there, as long as it isn’t written as purely mundane.
I’ve written a fair few Mother of Learning prompts already; if you want to see me going off more about things, especially for Kirielle, please see the Mother of Learning section of my Gen Freeform Ex letter here.  If you don’t want to click through, though, here’s a bit of things.
 Kirielle, Kirielle & Zorian:
If you want to focus on Kirielle’s relationship with someone who isn’t Zorian, for Kirielle and Nochka, they’re adorable and I’d love a further development of their friendship, especially getting to see it grow and develop over the months and years after the invasion.  If you want to write about Kiri and Zach, these two seem to have a lot of fun teaming up against Zorian lol, I really enjoy their dynamic and how they play off each other.  For Kirielle and Zorian, I love their dynamic!  And again here I’d really enjoy seeing their relationship developing in real time, rather than a constantly looping world.  I think it would be great to see either of them defending the other to their parents—and maybe Zorian ends up with custody of Kiri, there’s definitely things to explore there.
For Kirielle by herself, I’d love some sort of character study—what does she do now that the time loop is over?  She’s growing up into a war; will she be a mage?  An artist?  Something else?  Alternatively—what if she got pulled into the loop; what would it be like to grow older while still looking nine?
 Zach, Zach & Neolu:
Assuming you don’t go for a setting AU, I’d generally prefer something set at least in part after the time loop begins, but beyond that I don’t have a strong preference for where in the timeline this might be set.  Maybe something from before Zorian got looped in—maybe one of the iterations where Zach and Neolu just went off across the country having fun the whole month? Zach doing whatever, possibly very early on, or maybe him freaking out a little because what the hell, time travel is supposed to be impossible, and yet—what did he do in the start?
Or for post-canon, I’d really like an exploration of Zach, who’s got the lived-time of a middle-aged man and the body of a teenager—how does he relate to his classmates/other people in the real world, where everyone’s growing again?  Maybe something about his lawsuit against his caretaker, or just a little thing with him, Zorian, and How Do You Live Normally, Again?  This Is Hard, or some such thing.
 Raynie & Kiana:
Me? Latching onto a minor character in a big sprawling canon? It’s more likely than you think!
Anyway I like Raynie a lot; we don’t get a whole lot on her, but what we do get paints her as someone who’s having a very interesting life of her own, utterly divorced from the timeloop shenanigans (except re: the shifter children thing).
I like her and Kiana’s friendship, too; I like how when we finally see more of them both we learn more about how they’re similar and different.
For specific prompts, if you want to go pre-canon I’d really love something with her initial going to Cyoria and how she befriended Kiana in the first place (or, perhaps more likely, how Kiana befriended her; I somehow doubt that Raynie age 13, recently semi-exiled from her tribe, was particularly in search of outsider friends).
For post-canon, really, anything dealing with the fallout of all the things that go down in the real world would be fantastic too.
Alanic & Silverlake, Alanic & Xvim:
I’ve grouped these because they both have to do with Alanic, but really they’re not very similar prompts.
For Alanic and Silverlake I’d be very interested in something to do with Alanic’s backstory; Silverlake knew him as a young necromancer, so… what happened there?  How did they know each other?  Why was Alanic set on becoming a necromancer; clearly he got far enough to have soul sight himself—how’d he get that?  Why did he leave the necromancer’s path to become a priest?
For Alanic and Xvim, I dunno, this seemed fun?  They’re both part of the “annoying but ultimately helpful teacher” club to Zorian, and they get along well with each other—gonna admit I don’t fully remember what goes down for them in the final, real-world iteration, but.  They’re both a lot of fun and they play off each other well; just go wild here.  I’m down for it if you are.

Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (Cartoon)

·        Cassandra & Eugene Fitzherbert | Flynn Rider (Disney: Tangled)
·        Angry | Keira & Red | Catalina & Lance Strongbow (Disney: Tangled)
·        Angry | Keira & Red | Catalina (Disney: Tangled)
fandom-specific notes: Cass's canonical injured hand/arm that canon just kind of... forgets about and doesn't ever address after it's introduced is totally fair game; I'd love something that addressed that, just nothing too graphic about the original injury please.  Dnw fic which explicitly breaks up Rapunzel/Eugene.
 Prompts:
So, overall, I just love this show a lot?  It’s just so wholesome and heartfelt and hopeful?  Anything you write which can grab that vibe I’ll probably enjoy tbh.
But! Onwards to specifics!
Cass & Varian, Cass & Catalina, Cass & Eugene:
This is my “team betrayed Rapunzel and/or ill-advisedly trusted a blue spirit in the woods and/or died for her before being resurrected” group lol, and I’d love something that explores one of those things; canon gives us a little bit of that between Cass and Varian in the form of “Nothing Left to Lose,” but it doesn’t really address it after they’ve both found their way back; I’d love something post-canon for any of these pairs, after Cass has finally got her act together and they can start learning to deal with all of it.  Sharing their experiences!  Figuring out how to emotionally process the bad (or good-but-with-unfortunate-consequences-even-if-only-temporary) decisions you made!  I’m here for it.
Eugene & Angry, Eugene & Catalina, Angry & Catalina, Angry & Catalina & Lance:
All the found family! If you’re just dealing with Angry and Catalina, I’d take anything at any point in the timeline tbh—how did they meet? When and how did they start thieving together?  What did they do between their major appearances in the show?  If you go post-canon—how do they work out their new lives with Lance?  They’ve been living on their own for at least two years, probably longer; how do they learn to let go and let someone else take care of them?  And for either (or both tbh) of them with Eugene—former child-thieves, reformed because of Rapunzel!  He doesn’t have any parental-style authority over them; how do they relate to him as opposed to Lance, in a post-canon world?

·        Mike Kleinberg & Sam (Secret Society of Second-Born Royals)

·        January & Sam (Secret Society of Second-Born Royals)
·        Eleanor & Sam (Secret Society of Second-Born Royals)
·        Worldbuilding & None (Secret Society of Second-Born Royals)
Fandom-specific dnw: January as purely, irredeemably evil; absolute monarchy as unambiguously purely good.
Fandom-specific note: since I’m directly asking for politics in the worldbuilding option, it would be a bit silly to fully dnw real-world politics in this real-world-adjacent setting. Don’t worry about referencing real politics if that’s where you go with your fic; however, I would rather any focused-on politics be filtered through the context of the fictional countries the film uses, and please don’t reference real-world American politics post-2015.  “unrequested full setting aus” dnw has been modified to “unrequested mundane aus” so if you want to, idk, put them in a fairytale au or a sports-but-still-have-powers au or something—go right ahead.
 Prompts:
So, I enjoyed this silly little movie quite a lot—the characters were a lot of fun!  I love them all!  I really mostly just want more of them tbh.  If you want an overarching theme—I would adore time travel here, even more than I normally do. Time loops especially are just… perfection.
 Matteo & Roxana & Sam & Tuma, January & Matteo & Roxana & Tuma & Sam:
Team fic! Team fic! Team fic!  For these two sets, I’d love something about the whole team—of course—doing team-y things. You could set it in the summer, before shit goes down in the climax; or you could set it after—they’re going after January, of course.  What happens when they finally catch up to her?  What do they do?  How do they all process the relevant emotions of having been betrayed?  Do we catch a redemption arc?
 Mike & Sam:
These two are such good friends!  I like their friendship a lot, and I’d love to see more of it.  Something fun would be pre-canon—how did they meet?  What led them to start their band?  How much traction does their band have, really? Or post-canon—even having forgiven her, it’s got to be a lot to deal with, your best friend turning out to not just be a princess, but a superhero princess, while you’re just… a groundskeeper’s son(?).
Eleanor, Eleanor & Sam, Catherine & Eleanor & Sam:
Family times!  There’s a lot of tension and secrets here, have been for a long time; tell me how they come to deal with it all and learn to live with each other better than they have been before the film—or give me backstory! How did things end up spiraling this far down?
 January & Sam:
I’d love to have something dealing with January’s PoV on the events of the film, or Sam’s PoV on January; more fun with secrets and betrayals!  (Fun for the audience at least; maybe less fun for these two though.) They got pretty close, after all—how did that have January feeling?  Did she second-guess herself over that?  How about Sam—she was the one betrayed by her new friend, after all.  If you want to see me talking more about just January, check out my Yuletide letter here.
 Worldbuilding:
Okay, so, I really did like this movie, so I say this affectionately, but… to call the worldbuilding here flimsy would be to, well, imply that it had bothered doing any worldbuilding whatsoever, and that’s not quite accurate, now is it?  To be clear, I do think this was probably a good decision, given that the movie is dedicated to superhero funtimes, not How The Hell Is This Happening, but it does leave me with so very many questions. For being a movie all about royalty, this movie is almost allergic to actually engaging any of the politics it hints at, what with the presented sides being “monarchy good” and “terrorism is fine actually”; if you want to write about the politics of the world these characters live in, by all means go ahead! For example, how did they manage to be a Western European absolute monarchy all the way to the present day?  I’d love to see that, or anything like it really, explored.  Other worldbuilding I’d be interested in includes an exploration of the “gene” which… somehow… manifests exclusively in second-born children of royal bloodlines—does this include bastard children?  What counts as a royal bloodline?  What happens when one of the superhero royal children has to ascend the throne?  Why only the second-born?  Is it really genetic at all, or is it some sort of magic?  If not magic, then wtaf is going on in the genetics of this world, I have to know more.

fandom-specific dnw: age gaps in ships of more than 3 or so years when one character is underage; predatory manipulation between characters in the relationship in service of the relationship–if characters are manipulating each other for non-relationship things and such that’s okay, but i’d rather both parties in any of the ships be interested in the romance of their own accord. Additionally, please don’t have characters react to any gender-disguised characters (or characters in general, but it’s most relevant to them) in transphobic or transphobic-adjacent ways (i.e. none of the characters are requested as trans, but I still wouldn’t want to see the kinds of comments people make about trans people aimed at them). I’d also rather not see any kind of serious relationship with at least one character disguising their gender pre-reveal of that disguise–flirting, starting to date a little is okay but if it’s going further please have them reveal it. Please don’t play into the idea of gender-disguised character as “trap”.
also dnw characters requested as gender-disguised to be written as trans or to be written as absolutely loathing their disguise. other characters are fair game. if writing trans characters, dnw them to be explicitly nondysphoric (but not addressing it is fine).
fandom-specific note: the “setting au” dnw obviously does not apply here; my typical “identity headcanon” au dnw has been replaced by a dnw for “marginalized identities as the main focus of a fic” since there isn’t exactly a canon here lol.
If you’re a lovely friend who wants to do treats, I’d be totally on board for art treats for this section; however, I haven’t requested them as actual fills.
 Prompts:
All of these are fun groupings that, I think, imply both setting and some amount of plot; but I’ll have some more specific prompts anyway.  Overall I like all sorts of settings; all of my requested pairs imply some amount of speculative elements in the setting, but beyond that it’s all up to you.  Just-left-of-modern?  Ancient China but with magic?  IN SPACE? Whatever you want to do, go for it.
Male Student Mage Disguised as a Girl &/Whoever:
Look, I’m a sucker for identity/disguise shenanigans, and I love gender disguises, and for all the books I read as a kid featuring girls disguising themselves as boys to do [insert restricted activity here], I never saw its natural inverse; this is a travesty and must be corrected for.  Anything playing into this whole trope/idea is just chef’s kiss, I promise you I’ll love it.
Child Superhero & Their Concerned Supervillain Nemesis:
Another favorite dynamic of mine!  I love supervillains getting tricked into that semi-parental role where they’re like “hang on I may be a supervillain and a criminal but you’re a child where are your parents what are you doing here,” it’s quite possibly the Best dynamic I have yet encountered in superhero fiction… even if I haven’t actually encountered it all that much.
 Spellsword Mercenary & Mathemagician:
Okay, I’ll admit that I mostly nominated and requested this for the pun potential.  But I think there’s also quite a lot of implicit lore you could really dig into; what kind of world is this, where magic can be imbued in or used through swords, but can also be related to mathematics?  Tell me more about it!  How do these two know each other?  Are they both shamelessly, pundamentally invested in wordplay as well as their actual jobs?  If you’re looking for more plot-implying ideas, I would be super down if you wanted to map this onto one of my other origfic requests (but no pressure lol).

Writer Notes: The Wicked + the Divine 43
Tumblr media
Spoilers, obv.
Issue 44 comes out tomorrow at the time of writing. As I’m on the west coast of the USA, it will be just after midnight GMT by the time they’re online. So abstractly, this is the first time ever which we come out when the next issue is out. Abstractly. I’d say the day counts as where I am, and doesn’t Comixology come out a little later? We’ll see.
It’s also been so long that I almost wrote notes for issue 44. This is a weird goodbye, this period.
Anyway – Issue 43, wherein we finish explaining all the big stuff we’re going to explain.
I mean, there’s more in issue 44 and 45, but it’s all details, with the denouncement really being based around the characters’ response to this issue. They know the truth. Now what are they going to do about it?
That was the main note I gave in the script to the team – if there’s any really big questions you are confused about, now is the time to say, as this is the best clarification it’ll get. As such, we worked on it a lot to nail what we wanted to say – and what we didn’t. Sometimes this meant actually simplifying a little to avoid repeating huge amounts of stuff and leaving people even more confused. More often it involves sliding in a little nod to something someone would be thinking about.
It’s an interesting issue, I think. It’s where we show a lot of our hand.
It also involved a lot of crunching.
Jamie/Matt Cover
Cassandra finally gets her head cover. Normally a cover relates to a key beat, which isn’t true here – except in the widest possible sense that it’s where Cassandra gets to say I Told You So to everyone, including herself.
Jason Latour Cover One of the fun things about commissioning these covers is getting to see a creator’s process close up. Jason’s process on this was amazingly never-ending – he was always tweaking, and trying things and moving in a different direction. Where he ended was stunning – very him, and very WicDiv too. I remember us and the Jasons semi-jokingly about swapping books for an issue – they do WicDiv for an issue and we do Southern Bastards. This cover absolutely makes me wonder how amazing that hypothetical issue would have looked.
(Our story would have been about a Taylor-Swift-esque-singer/songwriter-before-she-got-big in the town. And probably murder, as it’s Southern Bastards, right?)
IFC
That “Life goes on” still creeps me out.
1-2
Opening vignette that lets us establish what Minerva’s plan is now, as well as re-establish Beth and her crew, and actually let us define their current position, and even give their codenames, which have existed in the Bible document since issue 1, I believe.
(Oddly, calling people “Boss” is one of my verbal ticks. It seemed fun to give it to Beth here.)
As such, Minerva immediately HiveMinding them when they’ve just stated their agency is plain harsh. Jamie’s large panel on page 2 sells it incredibly well – the statues, Minerva walking away from us – it’s all so casual.
It’s also the running theme of the issue – what Mini has been doing all these years. This is just a particularly direct example of it.
Three panels on second page to try and stress the seriousness of what this is (Space = Meaning, remember). Of course, as the issue shows, this isn’t the real part of the issue – but you have to at least believe this is a real gambit. And it is – I mean, it’d be awful if Mini pulled it off. But in people’s guts they’d realise this isn’t how WicDiv goes, right?
Minor glorious Matt Wilson note – the crackle of green in panel 3 is wonderful. Give that guy another Eisner. He deserves a hat trick.
3
Show time in the showbiz and the “time to show you everything” sense.
4
Establishing the stakes and situation for the heroes. There’s a draft of the issue I wrote which is a couple more pages long, which would have pulled this out a little more. In the end, we decided it worked better shorter – I’ll tell you why when I get there, and we could use the space elsewhere.
Key thing is showing some response to Cam’s actions at the end of last issue – it’s important to know that they haven’t just walked away, right?
In the first panel, the “identify who is speaking” is a tricky one. The “say the character’s name” is a little brutal move, and I avoid it. We’re not that book. Dio is easy – and Lucifer, bless her, is immediately identifiable by her idiom. Her line also reminds people of what she’s like, which sets up the last page.
Laura’s captions here again, doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
It says so much about this issue that the last two panels are only a half page total. These are big rock and roll images, presented in a tiny space. Jamie’s composition makes it land really well, selling the drama.
Page 5
It says even more that we did all this in a page.
Tara’s move in the original version was basically a page, but looking at it structurally it actually left it even more underwhelmed – a fight kicked off, and then heroes were losing, and then Tara does this cool thing, and they’re winning, before immediately the hive mind kicks in and they’re losing again. This does not sell the joy of Giant Woman.
This works better, not least for sheer audaciousness. I used to have a thing about tableau based storytelling – the idea that you can create a large image which people can explore and juxtapose it with a few captions to create a larger conceptual space. This is very much that.
“People treating people like meat” reminds me for the second time when re-reading this issue of the line from Pratchett: “Sin is treating people like things.” The first time was the puppets bit. I’d agree with Pratchett, clearly.
In the original draft of the script I had a line “You want more? Go re-read Rising Action” which is a bit too cute, so I lost it. It’s not really the sort of thing WicDiv does, anyway.
Yes, Giant Woman is a Steven Universe nod. Putting aside that image of Giant Tara kicking ass which has been in my head forever, there’s so much to love in the image – to pick a small part, how about the Norns blasting in triplicate? We rarely see them act like this.
You can also trace via the colouring which of Beth’s crew have duplicated which God’s powers.
Page 6
There’s been a lot about people copying people’s powers in WicDiv, and trying to find out what someone can and can’t do, and then using it against them. This switches it up. The thing about being creative instead of a straight plagiarist that creative people make up new shit. That’s kind of the point of them.
Once more, Matt showing the dance of the colouring between the Woden green (haunting the series like a ghost now) and the joy of Dio is (er) a joy.
Page 7
Another Matt moment – we step out of the club, and we drop to greys, before building the energy up.
I’m not quite sure how long Robin has wanted to punch Beth for. Or how long I planned to do it, even. I can imagine Robin thinking of this a lot though – she’s the one who takes a long time to snap.
There’s a dual structure here too – there’s two main compare-and-contrast bands in WicDiv. Beth’s and Cass’…
Page 8
And this is a very different kind of band break up.
The problem here is different – I want to give much more space. First draft it seemed that they got talked into it really easily. But it’s all the space we had so what to do? Once more, captions. Silent panel with captions can be timeless, and gives room for our minds to populate it. It’s been so long I can no longer remember if the fact the two almost-silent characters are shouting, but we’re not allowed to hear, because it’s private seems relevant.
Page 9-10
Hard cut made easier with the caption. Captions are great. Trust captions.
The shot of Mini at the edge, just looking back with space either side is great. Just the isolation of it.
The “try to sing” on the page turn seems a meaningful reveal. Can she?
No she can’t. This is another very old beat in the founding documents – it’s hinted at on page 9. Mini says that she gave it up – and she said the same in issue 9. I’m not sure I believe her. When planning it I realised that some people would take it as a comment on Work for hire – don’t get stuck keeping a story alive forever, as it will eventually atrophy your talent. It wasn’t planned, but I’d be fine with it as a reading. When Chrissy read it, she took it as “Don’t get stuck in art management.” which works too. Readings are fun.
Anyway – a performance. That the big thing in the issue is a performance rather than a fight is very much WicDiv turning towards its core concept as we head towards the final straight. Of course we’d do this.
Yeah, Matt and Jamie, killing it on the final panel of the second page – the Persephone-esque tentacles made something else, because she is something else now. The numinous expression of Minerva. Amazing.
Page 11
The borders in this sequence harking back to the Persephone performance in issue 18.
I may actually try to tweak this sequence in the trade and have a different execution of “When I was 14” and all the rest, to work a little more like a LOC CAP rather than a speech. We couldn’t make it work given the time before deadline. That’s the odd thing about our extended issues – just because it’s taking longer doesn’t mean we have more time to do tasks, right? Some things are only possible when the whole thing is together. It works, I think, but part of me wants to push it harder.
Anyway – these two. I loved writing them though. I said it back in the other flashbacks, but how the two of them dance is a delight. Hell, doing them across a lifetime is a delight.
Okay – I’m going to give you a name for Ananke’s sister. It’s the one I used in my notes. It’s no more her name than “Ananke” is really Ananke’s.
It’s Demeter. Ask me about it another time.
Page 12
The “god” in panel 2 is a Proto Norn.
This primal gathering brings to mind issue 9 as well.
Demeter’s expression in the penultimate panel? Love it.
Page 13
The captions are Laura’s style, but changed colouring. That Laura is helping Minerva performs means it comes across in her voice, was our thinking.
Captions are once more useful though – trying to get something that is evocative, but also clear was the battle.
(The Colours here!)
She-in-Thirds is a name-behind-the-name. The Maiden/Mother/Child archetype – the one which Ananke subverted in a few pages time.
Page 14
I find myself thinking whether the return to a close-to-eight panel for much of this is meaningful. This is kind of Bronze Age Phonogram.
Reading this I wish I had capitalised The Rebel – it’s another archetype. Proto-Lucifer. I’ll tweak for the trade.
I forget when the metaphor for a song for the “godhood” in WicDiv came to me, but it feels like the right one. It’s how songs often feel to me.
Page 15
If you go back to issue 34, you’ll see some of the details of this plan are different to the plan that Ananke has put into play there. In fact, the deal that she strikes in issue 34 is akin to what she wants here. It’s mainly for clarity – the reader needs to be reminded of what’s actually going on, as they won’t necessarily remember the details from way back then. I figure this is the plan she wanted to do, then found something else when Demeter wasn’t into it, before swooping around to something closer.
Page 16
“After all my friends were dead” gives a little flex in the timeline.
I do like Ananke’s hat.
“The Great River” being the Nile, and the pantheon we saw back in issue 36.
In terms of lists of things in this issue I was looking forward to write, the first meeting between Ananke and Minerva was certainly one of them. I tried to get something of the oddness here. Jamie and Matt manage to get the mood of issue 34 again too – I really do like this bronze-age western vibe. There’s a project I keep on thinking about doing, and it has some of that too it. Hmm.
Yes, page width panel of character delivering a line remains a key WicDiv tool. There’s so much I love here – the touch from Ananke, whose PoV we’re in. Minerva speaking to herself, speaking to us, etc.
That the knife is just sentimental is a minor beat I’m very fond of.
Page 17
Once more, Captions, as Laura makes sure we all Get It.
One of the debates in WicDiv fandom has always been whether the gods are picked by Ananke (i.e. Anyone could be a god) or whether they’re actually people with a gifts. Of course, the answer is that it’s both.
The thing I least like about WicDiv’s mythology is that the 12 people are people with this gift, for obvious “Ugh Chosen Ones” reasons. There’s some things that mitigate that a little, I hope, and not least that it’s clearly transferable to wherever you are in life. The core of it is “if you find yourself with a gift, be careful with it and use it responsibly.” It’s a book about the power, privilege, dangers and seductions of being an artist and all that. It’s only when writing that sentence do I realise how tired I am. This has been a busy week. Excuse me if the writing is looser than usual.
Anyway, I’m probably over-worrying. If X-men is fine, we probably are too.
So – end of the page is a download of some of the explanations of stuff folk will inevitably be going “Wait – what?”
And then Tara steps up.
When you’re writing a large group scene, with limited space, there’s choices you make of who speaks and who doesn’t. Who’s going to have the strongest counter-argument to something? Who’s going to have the biggest reaction? Them. They’re the one who carries the scene.
Which is Tara. Perhaps you could make an argument for Baal, but Baal is reeling through all these issues – plus if you choose one or the other, you tie-breaker would be who hasn’t had spotlight.
Page 18-21
And the counter is equally inevitably Cassandra (who is also in the process of beating herself up). Being Cass, she puts it harshly. Clearly, this is going to get a response from Tara.. and Cass opens up herself and makes herself vulnerable. Which is a hell of a thing for her, right?
I’ll stop this – I’m just walking through the emotional flow, but I love these two women here.
Which segues into the last formalist style thing of the issue. Once again, we have a space = meaning problem. This is clearly the most important sequence of the issue, but we have so few pages. We turn to one of the core WicDiv moves of black panels in a six panel grid, and loading them up with text. Suddenly we have a sense of ritual, a lot of dialogue produced in a stylistic way and most of all a whole extra page (hence an extra page of weight).
It’s also a complete showcase for Matt. The last godly panel of them is them at their most Godly, this final little iconic burst. A confession, and it’s gone.
I cried when I got the colours for this. I forget which one it was – there’s just some wonderful Jamie expressions in there as well.
Choosing the confessions was definitely tricky. We have space, but too much is too much. Some of them I kept simple, and others needed a little space to explain. The ordering was also one of those processes where you feel out the character, and think how they’d speak. Dio would clearly jump in, then Inanna, then Mimir trying to just piece it together, and all leading to Baal.
I did try and write a Baal caption, but any words were just too small.
And then, of course…
Page 22
You’ve probably seen me talking about year 4 as Solving The Equation. Yes, we knew lots of the key things, but there’s lots of elements of the execution were worked, and rethought and discovered. I may be able to talk a little more about this in the last issue’s notes.
This was a big one. I was chewing over the synopsis and thinking… a battle against Ananke/Minerva is a little underwhelming after everything, right? At this point in the story, Minerva is a busted flush. In reality, Laura (and Demeter) won the intellectual battle against Minerva in Mothering Invention. She’s already beat her. It nagged at me. There was something else.
Then there was the other thing – I knew that Lucifer was going to get her body back, but I wasn’t entirely sure what she’d do when she had it.
The two came together: of course, the final confrontation isn’t between Laura and Minerva. It’s with Lucifer, the person who brought Laura into the world, the person who brought us all into the world. The girl who wanted to be on stage, no matter the cost. That’s the final battle.
And best of all, I had no idea what would happen.
Well – not quite, but suddenly a whole lot of things was up in the air.
Page 23
Song reference, obv. Always connected to something in my head in my early career. If I do writer notes for the playlist, I may actually tell you.
Oh – some people wondered whether all the skulls meant everyone was dead. No – it’s just there’s no god in the slot. I’m not that kind of shithead.
Anyway – issue is out tomorrow. Or maybe today, depending on where you are. It ends the story, with 45 being an epilogue with a somewhat different tone. Clearly, it’s a huge issue, so be a little careful with your tweeting. The last cover is especially a big spoiler.

Harry Potter AU Characters
This is my interpretation of what the characters would be like in the Harry Potter Universe.
William Sherlock Scott Holmes
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Pureblood
-Wand: Ten inches, Blackthorn, Dragon Heartstring
-Best Class(es): Ancient Runes, Muggle Studies
-House: Ravenclaw (The sorting hat had a hatstall between Ravenclaw and Slytherin but Sherlock refused to go to Slytherin because that was the house his brother, Mycroft, had been in and he refused to be in the same house as his brother)
-Patronus: Otter
-Quidditch: Uninterested Bystander
-Blood Status: Pure Blood
-Bio: Sherlock got his acceptance letter on the day his brother accepted a position in the Ministry of Magic. Overshadowing his brother’s achievement because he had shown no exceptional magical talent from an early age. But what he lacked in magical talent he made up for in intelligence. So he was sorted into Ravenclaw house. He comes off as very cold and distant and did not have many (any) friends until his third year when he met John Watson in Care of Magical Creatures after being assigned a partner. He is a pureblood and his family has a rich history in the fifteen pureblood families, although he despises the pureblood status and will often not tell people that he is related to a person of high power in the Ministry. During the First Wizarding War he joined the Order of Phoenix with John against his parents wishes and has had a rocky relationship with them since.
John Hamish Watson
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Muggleborn
-House: Gryffindor
-Wand: Nine inches, Rosewood, Unicorn Hair
-Best Class(es): Care of Magical Creatures, Divination
- Patronus: Hedgehog
-Quidditch: Enthusiastic Bystander
-Bio: John received his letter a week before his eleventh birthday. His parents were surprised and pleased that they had a wizard for a son, while his older sister, Harriet, was jealous. When he was sorted the hat had a hatstall between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. In the end the hat chose bravery over loyalty, and placed him in Gryffindor. He had a couple o f friends but in third year he met Sherlock Holmes in Care of Magical Creatures. After he had graduated from Hogwarts, the First Wizarding War began. He became a member of the Order of Phoenix and fought hard. He was shot in the leg by a spell that broke the bone and when it was healed, it didn’t heal right, causing him to have a limp.
Samuel Jonathan “Sam” Winchester
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Half-blood
-House: Ravenclaw
-Best Class: Transfiguration
-Wand: Twelve inches, Rowan, Kneazle Whiskers
-Patronus: Moose
-Quidditch: Chaser
-Bio: After Sam got his letter his father was disappointed. He did not have “normal” sons. Which caused his sons to grow apart from him and close to each other. It also caused them to distance themselves from their classmates. Sam was very studious in his years at Hogwarts and was one of the top in his class. He achieved Prefect in fifth year and got high grades in his OWLS and NEWTS. After Hogwarts he joined the Order of Phoenix and became good friends with James Potter and his wife, Lily. He was devastated when they were killed by He-who-Must-Not-Be-Named. He became the DADA professor in Harry’s second year and met the son of James and Lily twelve years after their death. When the Second Wizarding War started he valiantly gave his life in he battle of Hogwarts. Dean was devastated.
Dean Alexander Winchester
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Half-Blood (Mother was a witch, Father was a muggle)
-House: Gryffindor (the sorting hat barely touched his head before it called out Gryffindor)
-Best Class(es): Defense Against the Dark Arts
-Wand: Eleven inches, Cherry, Phoenix Feather
-Patronus: Squirrel
-Quidditch: Chaser
-Bio: Dean’s mother did not tell his father that she was a witch and Dean’s father only discovered her secret after she was killed by dark wizards. He hoped that his children would never become wizards and was disappointed when Dean got his letter a month before his eleventh birthday. Dean was sorted into Gryffindor before the hat even touched his head. He became a very good student in Defense Against the Dark Arts. He had some friends but he met his best friends, Castiel, in fourth year. Castiel was a third year Hufflepuff who was able to summon a full patronus at the age of thirteen. After Hogwarts he became an Auror. When the first Wizarding War started he became a member of the Order of Phoenix and hunted down Death Eaters with his brother until the end of the war.
  Castiel Grigori “Cass” Scamander
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Half-blood
-House: Hufflepuff
-Best Class(es): Muggle Studies, Care of Magical Creatures
-Wand: Thirteen inches, Willow, Unicorn Hair
-Quidditch: Chaser
-Bio: Castiel was born to a wizard father and an overly religious muggle mother. She named him after the angel that presided over Thursdays. Castiel’s father did not tell his mother that he was a wizard until they had Castiel. This caused his mother to become angered at Cass’ father but since she did not believe in divorce she decided to stay with him, at least until Cass was old enough to take him away from his father. After Castiel got his letter for Hogwarts, three days before his eleventh birthday, his mother decided to leave them the day after he received his letter. She could not deal with having a wizard son, something she believed was one of the most evil beings in the world. Castiel was devastated to lose his mother and vowed never to fall in love or get married after she left. He had seen what the years had done to his parents and he leaving the the final knife in the coffin. He excelled at muggle studies and care of magical creatures. And he especially loved to study and take care of the magical creatures in his class. Many people said that he would become a magizoologist, like his uncle, Newt Scamander. In his third year he met Dean Winchester, a fourth year Gryffindor who was one of the chasers on their team and was fawned over by all the girls. They had a strong bond that turned into an even stronger friendship. In Castiel’s sixth year he realized that he had developed feelings for Dean but because of his promise to himself he refused to act upon those feelings. After school they kept in touch but did not see each other often. Castiel traveled the world with his uncle’s case collecting new species to add to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
 Jonathan Alexander “John” Mitchell
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Half-Blood
-House: Slytherin
-Best Class(es): Potions
-Wand: Eight inches, Ebony, Veela Hair
-Patronus: Bat
-Quidditch: Keeper
-Bio: John, known as Mitchell to his friends, got his letter the day before his eleventh birthday. Much to the surprise of his parents who did not expect anything from him because he did not show that much magical talent. His mother, a member of the noble Black family, was cast out after she married a muggleborn. She tried to divorce her husband but found out she was pregnant with John. So she is very cold and distant towards him because he is keeping her in an unhappy marriage. John was sorted into Slytherin almost immediately and thrived at Potions. He was known as one of the bad boys throughout the school. His closest friend was George Sands, a Hufflepuff, in the same year as him. After graduating Hogwarts his mother forced him to join the Dark Lord as a Death Eater and during the war he  was bitten by a vampire and changed.
  George Sands Jr.
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Pureblood
-House: Hufflepuff
-Best Class(es): Charms
-Wand: Ten inches, Hawthorn, Kelpie Hair
-Patronus: Arctic Wolf
-Quidditch: Apathetic Bystander
-Bio: George got his letter on the eve of the full moon, a full three months before his eleventh birthday, His parents were overjoyed but fearful. George had been attacked by a notorious werewolf for some offensive language his father had used in the Leaky Cauldron. Although Dumbledore assured them that he would be safe and that Hogwarts had another student with Lycanthropy. They were still worried that he would attack a classmate or faculty member. When he was sorted the hat stayed on his head for a good five minutes before it decided to place him in Hufflepuff.  He excelled at Charms and became prefect in fifth year. Although he did sometimes get into trouble with Mitchell. After Hogwarts he became the DADA professor for a year and then joined the Order of Phoenix to fight the Dark Lord.
Jackson Alexander “Jack” Sparrow
Tumblr media
-Blood Status: Half-blood
-House: Slytherin
-Best Class(es): Arithmancy
-Wand: Ten inches, Aspen, Dragon Heartstring
-Quidditch: Beater
-Bio: Jack was born to a muggleborn wizard and a pureblood witch, who was born into the Black family. He was an unusual child. He though outside the box and constantly focused on stuff that his mother would deem stupid. Jack received his letter three weeks after his eleventh birthday and both of his parents were overjoyed. When he arrived at Hogwarts, he was sorted into Slytherin for his cunning wit and deceit, inherited from his mother, that allowed him to attain his goals. He loved going to school, especially when he was able to prank other kids in Hogwarts. He gave the Marauders a run for their money. After school his parents (his mother in particular) convinced him to join the Dark Lord. He became a Death Eater for a time but renounced it after the Dark Lord fell.

-Wand: Fifteen inches, Ash, Unicorn Hair
-Quidditch: Semi-interested Bystander
-Bio: Born to a muggle father and a witch mother, Robert from an early age showed signs of being abnormal. In the wizarding sense, at least, he talked about creatures that no one else could see and talked to “imaginary friends” that when he told his family had the same stories and names as their deceased family members. When he turned seven, his mother was killed by Death Eaters and Robert’s father tried his best to raise him in a somewhat ordinary manner. hen Robert got his letter for Hogwarts his father was pleasantly surprised but also overjoyed. He was sorted into Ravenclaw immediately and then became friends with Sherlock, who was in the same house but a year older. They both admired each other’s intellect, but Sherlock thought he was a little weird when he would sputter off about nargles or other animals that Sherlock knew were definitely not real. Not many people called him Robert, many called him Jackaby and after Hogwarts, when he began writing novels and textbooks for the Wizarding World he used the name R. F. Jackaby. He became an investigator of paranormal that could not be explained by the Wizarding World and was followed closely by a young muggleborn witch named Abigail Rook.

Expert: Here it goes again! The same old tired and predictable tune, the same recognizable chorus. Once again the world is told what to think and what to believe. The world is also given both rhythm and leitmotif, so the grotesque and crooked dance could begin. Who could resist, really? The lyrics of the tune are recited in perfect English, and with that air of moral and cultural superiority, which is supposed to disperse all doubts. On February 19, 2017, RT published the following: The Telegraph, as a favored mouthpiece for British intelligence service disinformation, is a part of psychological warfare operation against Russia, said independent journalist Martin Summers. Another accusation is being thrown at Russia as a British newspaper published a story about Moscow being allegedly behind a plot to kill Montenegro’s Prime Minister last October… According to the article, Russia wanted to overthrow the country’s government to stop them joining NATO. So now it is Montenegro. Yesterday it was Crimea, Donbas, and the US elections. Evil Russia again! Evil China, evil socialist Latin American countries, evil Syria, Eritrea, Zimbabwe, South Africa, North Korea, Philippines, evil all those who are laughing at the notion of Anglo-Saxon superiority. ***** This time I’m actually not intending to write some long, philosophical essay on the subject of “shamelessness of British propaganda”. I’m just taking a short break from my 10 thousand-word ‘paper’ for the China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); a paper analyzing the impact of the 1917 Soviet Revolution on the world. I just want to state what I believe should be so obvious, but somehow isn’t, at least to billions of people all over the world: “Those British blokes running the mainstream media outlets and global propaganda network really cannot be trusted. For centuries, no other country brought more grief to the planet, destroyed more lives, ruined more nations and cultures, and stole more natural resources from the ‘natives’, than the United Kingdom.” All this was done with a straight face, all explained and justified by the most advanced propaganda apparatus on earth, all ‘morally defended’. The entire twisted concept of British-style ‘justice’ was first introduced at home, and then exported to many corners of the globe. It went on for several long centuries, and it goes on until now: the rapists are introducing globally accepted moral codes. Mass murderers are running international courts of justice. Notorious liars and thieves are teaching the world about ‘objectivity’. Gurus of disinformation are even ‘educating’ their own children, as well as the children of elites from all parts of the world, in their ‘prestigious’ factories of indoctrination – schools and universities. Of course, there are some countries that have tried very hard to outdo the UK in terms of brutality, greed and tactics of deception. It is worth mentioning such candidates for genocidal world leadership like France, Germany, Spain and lately the United States. They really have been competing determinately and zealously, but despite all their efforts, they never truly managed to come close to the forerunner. Please, just think about all this, if you haven’t already done it for years. Then wash your eyes thoroughly, and look anew at those tabloids and ‘serious publications’ that are printed in the UK. Look at the indoctrination television channels. If you are still able to retain at least some detachment and common sense, please compare what they are saying and writing and showing, with the reality outside your own window, wherever on this Planet you may be. ***** For many years I worked all over the world, on all continents, in some 160 countries. For many years, I was told stories, shown evidence, about the most monstrous and barbaric crimes that the Brits have been committing almost everywhere on this Planet. To compile even some semi-complete list, one would need to compose at least a sizable brochure, if not an entire book. Let’s just mention a few of the most obvious horrors that ‘Great’ Britain is responsible for: Slave trade and destruction of entire huge parts of Africa with tens of millions people directly or indirectly killed. Monstrous occupation of the ‘Sub-continent’, with tens of millions of lives lost (including those in several artificially triggered famines). Ransacking of large parts of China, murdering and participating in breaking the most populous nation on earth. Brutal attacks against the young Soviet state. Horrid treatment of colonized peoples of the island nations, from Oceania (South Pacific) to the Caribbean. Gassing, bombing, literally exterminating people of the Middle East, from what is now Iraq and Kuwait, to Palestine. There were invasions of Afghanistan and the ‘reign of terror in Kabul’ in 1879. There were many other things, many nightmarish crimes, of course, but today I’m being brief… In the “New World”, consisting of countries like the US, Canada and Australia, the most terrible massacres of the native people were committed by the first and second generation of Europeans, mainly the Brits. Britain actually never ceased to commit crimes against humanity. Since WWII it has been tutoring the United States, strategically and ideologically, in the art of how to run the Empire and how to manufacture unanimity inside the West itself, and even among the population of the colonized nations (in the neo-colonialist context). It has also been involved in some of the vilest acts in modern history, related to countries like Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Congo as well as entire areas of Asia Pacific and the African Great Lakes. Again, that’s only a brief and incomplete summary. ***** Having experience with occupying huge parts of the world for centuries, knowing first-hand how to ‘pacify’ the natives, the Brits gradually developed and then passed on to the rest of the Western world their highly effective and successful indoctrination methods. These were eventually spread further – mainly among the elites of the colonized nations. As a result, fully standardized global perceptions evolved, and were implemented and upheld until this very moment. They included the general worldview, ‘principles’ and ‘moral standards’, law and justice (including such concepts as ‘human rights’), and even the set of overall values. The English language (especially well articulated; spoken with certain recognizable and ‘acceptable ‘accents) became the main linguistic tool embodying both truth and authority. News presented in a certain ‘objective’ way and with a certain accent (or acceptable set of accents) became subconsciously, for the great majority of people, much more trustworthy than that which would be delivered by individuals whom a great Polish journalist, anthropologist and philosopher Ryszard Kapuscinski used to define as ‘the others’. ***** This ‘perfect’, seemingly bulletproof system produces intellectual laziness, submissiveness, even servitude. It is successfully upholding the status quo. Lies are mounting on top of lies, and even the most obvious fabrications lately do not get challenged, except in some marginal and ‘extremist’ (defined by the Western regime) outlets. The colonialist empire managed to survive. It is now fully in charge. It dominates the psyche of both the colonizers and the colonized. Advances that were made by liberation and independence struggles, by the anti-colonialism fighters during the post-WWII era, have been skillfully annulled. Then, it was officially declared, “colonialism is over”. At some point, the Anglo-Saxon demagogues invented ‘political correctness’, one more highly effective tool designed to neutralize and ‘pacify’ any serious resistance. Political correctness claims that all nations and races are equal; it is even glorifying those ‘little people’ and almost all ‘cultures of the under-developed nations’, at least verbally, while in reality the Empire keeps plundering and manipulating the planet, as it has been doing for ages. In the colonies, the only individuals who are gaining are the elites; those morally corrupt rulers of the deprived and still enslaved world. ***** As in the past, the regime pragmatically chooses its enemies, and it then applies the most proven and spiteful tactics, launching defamation campaigns, dehumanizing citizens and leaders of adversary states, creating often phantasmagoric but highly effective conspiracy theories. The British media, the British propagandists, in fact, the entire British establishment, had reached absolute perfection in the field of mind-control and brainwashing. How else, otherwise, would anyone in his or her sane mind trust the words of those who are responsible for tens of millions, perhaps for hundreds of millions of lost human lives in all corners of the world? How could the primary architects of our insane global arrangement be taken seriously, unless they managed to fully indoctrinate their ‘subjects’? Some would suggest that we are living in a world where the ‘normality’ could be found only in an insane asylum; where the only place for a decent man or a woman could be behind some barricade, or behind bars. However, not many would have such thoughts, as even reflections are now almost fully standardized and controlled. So much glorified freedom has been reduced to just a handful of personal, very limited, often self-serving choices that one is still allowed to make while being generally fully locked within the existing system. This British, European, in fact, Western obsession with controlling, with ruling over everything in this world, has actually fully derailed natural human evolution. Instead of much higher aspirations, instead of optimistic attempts to build an egalitarian, compassionate and joyful society, our humanity is once again stuck in some master-slave morass, in something that appeared to be on its way out even during some periods of the 19th century, and definitely later, in the 20th century. ***** How to fight this nightmare? I wrote it many times before, and I have to repeat it again: To change things, one has to first understand reality. But it is not only about knowing the facts; it is mainly about how to analyze them, how to perceive the world and essential events. We are being bombarded, in fact flooded with information, data and ‘facts’. What is missing is a totally new approach towards sorting and analyzing the reality within which we live. The Empire is not withholding the facts. It is doing something much more sinister: it is depriving people of learning how to analyze them in the most logical ways. Let us begin with absolute basics: “Mass murderer cannot be a judge”. “Indoctrinator and brainwasher cannot be a teacher”. “Those who are shackling, enslaving billions, should not be allowed to preach about freedom.” The reality is: we have a handful of deranged, mentally disturbed nations and cultures that have been subjugating, raping and robbing entire nations and continents, still in charge of our beautiful but already terribly scarred Planet. These morally defunct nations have no compassion left, and no real rationality. This fact they have proven again and again. One million victims, tens of millions of victims – it means nothing to them, as long as they can continue to rule. Ruined nature, disappearing islands, poisoned air, it matters nothing to them. People turning into indoctrinated, intellectually and emotionally uniformed cattle; good, who cares? It is an extremely unsettling reality, but reality it is. The sooner we recognize it for what it is, the better. ‘Great’ Britain should sit down on its ass and cry in horror, recalling all crimes it has been committing, imagining the concentration camps it built in Africa and elsewhere, recalling the famines it triggered in India and elsewhere, remembering all those innocent people it murdered on each and every continent. It should be howling from shame, because of the nihilism it has been spreading, while ruining enthusiasm, beautiful dreams and hopes of our human kind. It should stop and weep in horror, picturing instructions it provided to countries like South Africa, the United States or Rwanda – instructions that brought terrible bloodbaths, instead of harmony and progress to our world. Why all this terror? Just so the UK and its cohorts could continue to rule! It is not about greed only, or natural resources, it is about control. ***** I don’t want their analyses, anymore. I don’t want their news, their films, their books, and their propaganda materials. Even in the dark solitude of some cave, one could understand the world much better than when reading their disinformation sheets, or when watching their indoctrination channels. All this is just designed to confuse people, to make them passive and submissive. Their announcers as well as their writers are like some sad lobotomized robots: there is no life, nothing new, nothing daring or revolutionary in their words. They function, somehow: they move, they eat, shit, repeat what they are expected to say, but they are not alive. They only smear, but don’t inspire. If there is any optimism, it is always false, pre-approved, and mass-produced. If you think about it, it all actually makes sense: A torturer cannot be a visionary, or an idealist. Compared to China or Iran, the UK is a relatively young culture. But it feels old, tired, spent, and obsolete. Too many crimes and too many lies can exhaust and depress even a young person. Were England a person, operating in a normal society, it would be either in prison or in a mental institution. The same could be said about the rest of the West. We have nothing to learn from some murderous maniac, do we? The only concern should be: how to put a straight jacket on such an individual, how to prevent him from killing and harming others, and how to do it as quickly as possible. I also highly doubt that with such a background and monstrous track record, our dangerous maniac should be allowed to interpret the world publicly, to teach people, and to even participate in the discussions touching the most essential issues facing our planet! http://clubof.info/
