I truly think the 40 minute Behind The Scenes episode was just as good as the full Game Changer one. What an amazing group of comedians and a great crew that helped full it all together

see the thing about daredevil is that matt’s relationship with foggy is such an essential part of his character as a whole that it just feels empty without him. you NEED foggy the silly ray of sunshine as a contrast to matt’s constant brooding! he’s “the beating heart of daredevil” after all!!

in born again, we’re missing that. some characters fill in temporarily, like kirsten or… no ok it’s just kirsten and she BARELY gets enough screen time as is. Karen and Frank are great companions for him, but none of them fill in the space left by foggy and no one can. we don’t have that consistent anchor for matt that’s so important. matt has no more “angel on his shoulder” so to speak like foggy was for him.

and yeah, that’s the point of the season. without foggy, matt is lost, makes sense. but that problem is NEVER RESOLVED. matt has lost the closest thing to family that he had and we only ever saw him avoiding his grief, and there’s so many ways they could’ve resolved that plot point that the fact they didn’t is a little sad to me.

if foggy was revealed to be alive, this would obviously fix the problem. matt would have his anchor and even if everything wasn’t instantly fixed, that part of the plot would’ve been wrapped up.

but even if foggy wasn’t still alive, there could’ve been a better resolution for this. matt could’ve finally broken down and grieved for him, recognizing just how lost he is now. karen could’ve helped him and it would’ve felt SO much more impactful if everything wasn’t better, if he didn’t feel strong enough to fight for the city like he needs to, but if he decided to try anyway for foggy. some sort of tribute to his best friend would be the perfect motivation for him to put in the effort.

and what if things just got worse instead? what if, after having lost his best friend and rebuilt his life only to feel like it’s all fake, he just kept spiraling? what if he completely stopped caring, pushed everyone away again, and went to get revenge on vanessa alone? it would be a bit of a repeat of season 3, sure, but it still makes sense and follows through on the sort of impact foggy’s death should have.

idk, i think i’m just a little sad that they’re trying to make a whole show about daredevil while leaving out one of the most crucial pieces. even if he was to stay dead, the effects of that should have a way bigger impact than what we’ve been shown, especially in the finale if matt’s problems were supposedly “all about him”.

“Seriously, you hijacked the Batmobile and did not invite us? For Shame!” Spoiler wailed, draping herself across the hood like it was a fainting couch.

Hood scoffed. “So you don't want me to have brotherly bonding with-”

“So you admit we are brothers!” Nightwing crowed.

Hood shoved Nightwing “Shut up dickhead, Signal is a brother, you are debatable on a good day and Dan-” Hood was cut off by Nighwing launching himself onto Hood.

Everyone watched as Hood and Nightwing wrestled, cheering on as Nightwing avoided chokeholds.

Signal soon appreciated that he had moved away to get a good view of everyone and had set his visor to record. Danny decided it was his turn to ‘cheer’ by playing the intro song for John Cena.

On Full Blast.

Signal quickly saved multiple copies of all the vigilantes scattering like startled cats. Nightwing and Hood launched off each other, ending up out of frame, Spoiler yelped and scampered off of the car, and Black Bat leaped back and managed to cling to the side of a lamp post. She was the only one left in frame, and her entire being radiated unsettled vibes. Signal imagined her looking like a cat, completely poofed, claws stuck into a wall, staring at the Batmobile in terrified yet morbid curiosity.

Duke could not hold himself back any longer as he roared with laughter. Hood and Nightwing soon followed as they found Black Bat still clinging to the pole.

“Danny, you are now Officially our brother!” Nightwing declared.

“Who the hell is Danny?!” Spoiler shrieked.

könig spends months planning how to propose.

he knew you were it for him very early in your relationship, but he’d held back to not scare you off. now, a little more than a year in, he’s discretely researching destinations, rings, drafting and scrapping his speech over and over again. you deserve nothing less than perfect, the most wonderful proposal ever for the most amazing person ever.

when the time comes, he’s ashen in the face, his palms clammy as he slowly retrieves the beautiful ring box from his pocket. your breath catches when he kneels before you, his hands trembling as he opens the box, your dream ring nestled securely between the velvet cushions. all he manages to say is your name before he chokes up, tears brimming in his ocean blue eyes as he looks up at you with so much love it makes your chest ache. he tries starting again, but not a sound comes out. you smile down at him, ever an angel, he thinks, a shaky “yes… a million times yes” leaving your lips, and then it’s a blur as you throw yourself on him and kiss him, or maybe he picked you up and kissed you, he doesn’t know, all that matters is that you agreed, that you’re willing to be his forever and always.

every time anyone asks about your proposal, he clears his throat, ears tinged pink as you smile knowingly at him, the two of you reliving that magical moment for a split second. you give a vague answer, choosing to keep it between you and him, and he gives your hand three squeezes, gratefully pressing a soft kiss to your temple.

The third and fourth drawings were scrapped drawings for Sirentober where I ended up going a different direction (the third one became the piece with Jhes standing behind Ford with her hands on his shoulders and the fourth one became the piece with Theraprism Bill drawing the red and blue triangle scribbles with Baby Bill sitting behind him, drawing his parents normally)
