I think there should be more funny misunderstandings with Voltra.

Like for a good few centuries, since Voltra was introduced to Gur'latan, it has only ever been held by women, right? Only once a Princess of Gur'latan inherited the Voltra element, would she become the Empress Satriantar of Gur'latan. (correct me if I'm wrong)

So, what if people assume Boboiboy is a woman?

Because for centuries, tales of the Empresses Satriantars of Gur'latan have spread throughout the galaxy. Respected, magnificent, inspiring female warriors. So when Boboiboy of Earth bests Retak'ka, they assume that Boboiboy is a female warrior, too.

Maripos: You're not what I expected.

Finally got around to designing the hypothetical twins from this post!

Some notes:

These two both have the same glare as their dad. Dia’s pretty smiley, but Howl is very willing to give dirty looks when he’s not happy.

Opal absolutely roped Ruby into transforming into two additional infant darkrais to prank their parents after the initial panic over having an actual child member of Ark’s species started to wear off. The sleep deprivation was wearing on even Ark, who doesn’t even need to sleep, and he accepted the idea that they had quadruplets without even noticing before he recognized Ruby and Opal’s auras.

Twig isn’t beating the “dragon with a hoard of children” allegations anytime soon.

Ruby was very nervous about turning out like her older siblings and being cruel to her new family members. She’s the gentlest, sweetest big sister you’ll ever meet.

Spindle is so happy about having a brother for the first time in his life. He won’t voice it, but he’s thrilled to bits.

Dusknoir started crying when Twig and Ark introduced the twins to the rest of the family. I wonder why?

slowburns are my #1 kryptonite and i always get sooo frustrated whenever relationships happen so fast even if it’s good because i always think the tension should be drawn out longer. so as you can imagine i am having a blast with bones and booth

#bones lb #especially because they are truly one of the most unhinged couples ever to exist #they tick literally almost all of my boxes #and i love being reminded of mulder and scully while watching them even though i haven’t watched the x files yet #and i love noticing that there are echoes of them in like buddie for example but also im reminded of harrow and gideon??#bones and jocks...unending devotion...#plus cangel duh. and the leverage ot3 #and nurseydex too. they are very nurseydex coded to me in their arguments but ofc i am insane and love nurseydex a ridiculous amount #also hate to reference anything related to ** but drop dead gorgeous by maya as well. which was formative for me #and of course…destiel…#this is also sad but like. i don’t think we’ll ever get a slowburn like this again #for a straight couple let alone for a non-straight couple and as annoying as that is #it’s comforting to watch this and know it’s going to lead somewhere and that it’s embedded in the narrative #that sounds like i've been traumatized. well. i have #which also makes me think about the purpose of fic too like i feel no real urge to read bones fic because for the most part they give me #almost exactly what i think should happen in the relationship i care about most #and they do sm fun and trope-y things and i love when shows do that
