First of all I love the way how Agatha's voice goes from harsh with Lilia to trembling when she says "Don't." to Rio.

But now what I actually want to talk about. Because after they share that interest look in that scene it seems like Rio would shrug her shoulders a bit and step back.

And right after she did that Agatha jumps back into action and asks Jen if she can do anything. As Rio would've tell her somehow that he still has a chance to survive.

And then this look.

Agatha's eyes went from Teen right to Rio when Lilia said "Jennifer. Look what you did." As she knew that it wasn't just Jennifer alone who saved him. This let me think that Jen might just had the opportunity to save him because Rio didn't want to get his soul yet bc it wasn't his time.

And Agatha knew that.

It would also explain these gentle looks they gave eachother when Agatha joins the other witches at the fire.

She choosed to be near her. She acknowledged her. Of course she did it that whole episode but the other times Agatha tried to make it seem like she didn't care/it bothers her that Rio was there. But not this time (I also think it was because she thought about the possibility that Teen could be her son). This time she even really laughs openly with her in front of the others when she shows them the scar on her elbow like it's a insider between the both of them.

And can we please talk about the fact that Rio left a flower right next to her for her?! And how gently Agatha picked that flower up?! Because the first time she literally knocked the flower out of her hand and threw it away. They were so soft in these last two scenes I can't!😭

btw i think lloyd subconsciously/emotionally thinks jay is dead and that rogue jay is like an impostor or his reanimated corpse, hence at first hes so neutral/distanced (s2p2) and later hes so distrusting and frustrated hes not the same jay he remembers and even if he were Exactly the same hed still be distrusting because His Jay If He Were Alive Would Not Leave Him For So Long No Matter What

so i watched dead boys detectives and im OBSESSED. the show was so good?? all the character, absolutely all of them, were so amazingly written. no boring half-cooked character that was killed off or left behind for the sake of plot. no bleak female characters without an interesting story to tell. all the characters had their depth and their flaws that didn't make them the villain - exept when they did. they gave us chaotic neurodivergent scooby doo gand and i. need. more.
