Stopped by the library to return some books and pick up a couple more, and was amazed at how busy it was…until I remembered it's a polling place.

There was still a queue at the indoor book return, though, so I suspect a non-zero number of folks are voting and making a library run. Goodness knows I probably wouldn't have made one today if my own voting place wasn't the Civic Center just down the block.

For a little context, we have two versions of the legend of King Arthur in our textbook. One is the ANCIENT ancient one by Geoffrey of Monmouth, I think it is, and the other is the version by Thomas Malory. It's been so long that I don't even fully remember what the prompt for the midterm was, but I do know that it was about the importance of supernatural elements and stuff in early literature. How tf are we gonna read a retelling and not the original story when they're both in the same textbook

What I love most about my naturally crooked eyebrows is that condicending people who consider themselves makeup experts will, completely unprompted, fall over themselves foaming at the mouth just to tell me I'm drawing them on crooked and non-symetrical and give me tips on how to draw them better

Tried to call them myself to try and reason with them.

Her fiancé called me a child. When I just wanted to inform him that I am 27, he said that he didn't want to talk to me. Then he proceeded to call me 'not a real adult'.

Please keep in mind that this was my very first time ever speaking with her new fiancé, via phone call, and he immediately goes against me already.

For some idiotic reason, my mom and my brother now keep telling me 'they're not being ableist' and I've been taking and hearing things wrong and that I'm 'lying' about what they said. This while when I called them, the phone was on speaker and they were sitting with me and heard them say these things too.

Not my aunt calling my mom to invite her to her wedding but telling her me and my brother are not invited bc we have mild autism

Fyi this same aunt never even shows her face to us, not even on our birthdays, and once when I tried to contact her on Facebook Messenger, she blocked me without a word in 'response'.

She likes to judge us from km (kilometers, I'm European 😅) away without seeing us but from hearing about autism gossip only 🙃
