I firmly believe that Clark could have pulled Lex back from total “darkness” if they hadn’t stuck to the “Luthor’s are evil narrative” (see: when Clark found out that Tess was Lionel’s daughter. And Tess is one of my favorite characters, but my friend, my guy, you couldn’t have seen that Lionel brought out Lex’s darkness after years of friendship?? But you saw it with Tess who you didn’t know nearly as long?).
At the Season 7 finale, Arctic, Lex said that Clark turned his back on Lex, and you know what? He was right. But I think if they had followed Clark’s character, that Clark would have actually tried to save Lex. In the Smallville canon, they veered into morally gray characters—Jonathan Kent himself said that Clark would have to venture into the gray area because things in the real world aren’t black and white. He gave grace when Lana stole 10 million (?) from Lex before their divorce, when Chloe has done a bunch of hacking, and even, technically, Clark himself has done breaking & entering (and given multiple concussions/ other injuries).
Clark saw firsthand what kind of man Lionel was—he killed his parents, he electrocuted his son to cover his crimes. In Lex’s memories, he saw Lionel get physically abusive with Lex and Lillian. And yet, despite being captured and kept in a cage by Lionel in the name of protection, Clark was still outraged that Lex killed Lionel. He had the nerve to say that Lex didn’t try hard enough to be a good son (when Clark saw the years of Lex fighting against his father).
No, no, no. Clark would’ve actually tried to save Lex. Especially after the whole “what’s lost can be found again” (which amounted to nothing) and everyone and their mom saying that Clark’s greatest weakness was seeing the good in people. And I think with all the nuance of black and white that Clark has had to face, he would’ve “forgave” Lex for killing Lionel. (I quote “forgave” because it wasn’t really something against Clark.)
I also firmly believe that Lex killing Lionel was somehow how Lionel wanted it to end. Even if he died “protecting” Clark’s secret, I don’t think it was purely for Clark’s interests so much as one last power play against Lex.

Now just thinking about NSR as a game itself, and not just the characters. And I noticed that this is one of the few story games that I can play repeatedly.
Like I can play a fighting, shooter, survival, simulator game for hours, days, even weeks. But games that have to tell a single story I usually only play once (or as many as there are endings, even then I don't get every ending most of the time).
But NSR is one of the few story games I play over and over.
And I'm not even talking about playing through it once and then continuously play the boss fights. No, I legit will play through the whole story multiple times. Either by my self, with friends, or with family.
It is honestly a really nice change of pace and a good in between from playing a game once and never again, and playing a never-ending game until I get sick of it.

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.
LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.
Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.

I really think they need to start teaching kids in schools that most blind people can see a little bit, most deaf people can hear a little bit, and most wheelchair users can walk a little bit. And they are still disabled.
