Sending a Request
Tumblr media
Before sending a request, please take a look at who I write for & what I am comfort and not comfortable writing. This is important and if I feel you've send a request totally ignoring something I am not comfortable with, I will delete your request.
*Sending a request doesn’t guarantee it will be written!!*
When sending a request, please state if you want Reader to be fem or GN! If you want Reader to have a penis in the fic, please mention if you want them to be Fem, GN or AFAB/AMAB.
Sorry this post is kind of long.
Tumblr media
What I'm Comfortable Writing:
Dark Angst such as, gore, murder, kidnapping, mentions of SA, drugs, blood, childhood trauma, PTSD topics etc.
Fluff, anything and everything fluffy!!
Platonic and/or family based fics (Reader as a sibling or child).
I am comfortable writing Reader with a disability BUT, please know, I can only write what I've researched and I can never, ever, understand the struggles or what it is truly like to have *said* disability. Please take that into account if you are wanting to request Reader with a certain disability 💖
Age Regression - I'm happy to write it, if it is requested. I am not a regressor so, again, I can only write what I've researched.
Smut - Daddy/Mommy kinks, Con Non Con, Character x Character, Character x Reader, Breeding Kink, Voyeurism, Desperation, Toys, Bondage, Double Penetration, Lactation Kink, Somnophilia, Exhibitionism. FAB! Reader with a penis and/or Character with a penis.
Alpha x Omega AU - I sometimes get this requested and it's fine! I'm not confident with it as I'm not a big reader on that fantasy but I love the challenge.
What I'm NOT Comfortable Writing:
Details of SA & r@pe. Like I mentioned above, I am fine with mentions but not detailing the event.
Detailed racism, I'm okay with mentions such as "So and so was racist"
Smut - Scat, incest, pedophilia, Character x Men Reader, Body Shaming, R@pe, Hate in General.
I do not write Men x Character. I'm sorry x

madelyn cline & she/her/cis woman ‷ watch out , scarlett danvers has crash-landed into roswell !! they look twenty six years old and celebrate their birthday on april 11th. they are from salt lake city, utah, reside in aurora apartments and are currently working as manager & bartender at area 51 & casual dj. one thing you should know about them is she has a bad habit of chewing on ice cubes. ‷
Tumblr media
trigger warnings: drugs, alcohol, pregnancy, abortion, mention of violence, bad parenting.
*      background.
scarlett is the only child of pretentious wedding planner lauren saunders and oscar danvers, who were together for almost 2 years and broke up just 2 months before she was born. her mother was her primary care giver in salt lake city, and she would visit her father every second weekend or when lauren had weddings, or special appointments. in truth, both of her parents were workaholics so she spent a lot of time with relatives or in day care.
from a young age, scarlett was very generous and sweet; sharing her lunch, playing with other children nicely, making friends easily with her lively nature. she also, however, found herself getting in trouble for talking back to teachers or reefing scrunchies out of kids hair simply because she didn’t like the look of them. she didn’t understand why she was getting in trouble because to her, she was just helping out - they looked better without the scrunchie.
tw: bad parenting. her father always tried to urge her to be the ‘ sweet little girl ’ when she started to be more outspoken in mid elementary through to middle school; to watch what she said, be gentle with others, to be seen and not heard ew ew ew. lauren, however, let her speak her mind and was all for her being the exact opposite of the ‘lady’ her father was trying to get her to be.
school wasn’t necessarily hard for scarlett, but she simply didn’t want to be there. She would rather be skipping class to hang with the older students downtown, or make out with the hot senior that had just made eyes at her. better yet, get her hands on a bottle of vodka and sneak off with her friends to gossip and play spin the bottle when they were done.
tw: drugs, alcohol and mention of violence. so it was no surprise when she started to act out, or rebel, against her mother when oscar completely distanced himself from them to be with his new family. she befriended those outside of school who were into the party scene, who encouraged her to do things she shouldn’t like drink excessively and take pills for the fun of it. there was even a time she purposely smacked a baseball with a bat at a junior because he rubbed her the wrong way (though, that would be something she’d do today if there was no video footage)
djing was something that scarlett became interested in in her junior year at a house party. djing was never something she thought would be of interest to her, yet the minute her friend showed her the ropes of the decks, her heart has never been as full.
when scarlett grduated, she enrolled into a physical therapy degree despite djing being her main goal. she tried to be realistic in thinking that she possibly wouldn’t make it in the industry, and thought that perhaps she needed a career to fall back on that she also enjoys. that, however, didn’t last. 6 months later and scarlett was dropping out of college and moving back in with mother dearest.
and soon enough scarlett went to travel! packed her bags, brought a friend along for the ride, and kissed her mother goodbye and they were off. It was only for three quarters of the year, but she was having the time of her life. meeting different people, drinking until her hearts content, getting high, going to music festivals, even messing around on some decks in some backyard parties.
upon her arrival home, that’s when the early-quarterlife crisis hit. scarlett didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life, or where she wanted to be, and she felt like time was running out. how could a 20 year old be so hung up about life already? It was a spur of the moment decision, but lauren shut up her business in slc and the two of them moved from the city to roswell, new mexico.
apart of scarlett wasn’t so sure about roswell when she first arrived, but after finding a job at the local boutique and trying to find her feet again, it started to grow on her. the people started to grow on her and she began to make it her stomping ground. Quite quickly, the blonde found her groove and was saving up to buy herself some decks, computer software, the lot.
the moment she turned 21, she was hitting up area 51 for a job in the bar and even going around to the other bars telling them she can dj, because oh boy had she been practicing. she was going to make her name known.
tw: pregnancy. with all the fun that came from being of legal age (not that that ever bothered scarlett anyway), scarlett was sleeping around. She was playing her own gigs, charming the bar patrons on a nightly basis, and had managed to tie down a fling of her own. what she didn’t plan on was falling pregnant.
tw: abortion. the idea of being a mother petrified scarlett to her core, though she was so torn up about it she made herself sick for weeks about it. couldn’t go into work, couldn’t respond to texts, couldn’t get out of bed, nada. eventually, she knew that there was no way she could go through with it. so, she asked for her mother’s help. tw.
scarlett’s been bottling up everything because that apparently is easier than facing it all head on. just turned it off like a switch. or sealed the cap shut, really.
it’ll come to a head one day, that’s for sure mmm.
for now, scarlett is living her absolute best life - serving drinks at area 51, working as her own self employed dj for whoever needs one and posting mixes on tik tok and soundcloud, and flirting with everybody and anyone she wants to.
*      personality.
she has little to no filter, whatsoever. she is inappropriate, flirtatious and honest without thinking first most ─ if not 98% of the time. scar is very much the type of person to suck on someone’s fingers in public and not think twice, or tell you exactly what she’s thinking of you in that moment.
scar is a patient person, truly, (especially when it comes to getting revenge) there are just times she simply turns unexpectedly and with no warning. one minute going about her day, no qualms, the next she encounters a minor inconvenience/etc and she explodes. lashing out with a sharp tongue or even throwing hands, which she is not afraid to do.
she can is a bad influence, for sure.
flirt flirt flirt ! what more can i say? she’s a tease, a brat, will flirt with you blatantly, with her eyes, will play cat and mouse, give a taste and leave you wanting more: just living her best life and thriving.
scarlett can be very sweet. very giggly, cuddly, soft and warm. if she deems you a friend, she will protect you and be there for you no matter time of day ( even if she doesn’t know what to say ). she’ll hold your hand just because, give you a flower because it reminds her of you, even make you a playlist.
she keeps her cards close to her chest, not wanting people to leave or hurt her. it’s a reflex that she pushes people away or hurts them before they get too close, because who likes to get hurt? nah.
it’s not often that scar asks for help ( not really anyway ) but when she does, she usually reaches out to those she is closest to.
this woman loves to box, run, surf, keep active in any way that she can. want someone to go on a walk with? hit her up, she’ll go. they don’t have to talk; they can listen to some beats and walk
scarlett has to be doing something, otherwise she’ll get lazy and won’t do anything. like lay in bed for three days and won’t wash up lazy. so she doesn’t fall into this trap ( which she does ) she constantly tries to keep herself going, whether it’s seeing people, tw: drugs getting high, working, surfing, boxing, having sex. u know, as you do.
this girl is happy to party in the club, the backyard, or have a small little get together in the living room. as long as there’s music ( any kind even, her music taste is vast ) she’s happy.
also, happy to chill and do jack shit. sit on the couch and chat, or smoke, or not talk at all. or make out for the hell of it, hey, whatever floats your boat. she’d be very happy to simply make out, js.

How many oc's do you have and how long did you have them yet? Who is your favorite oc of yours?
-Question Master
Tumblr media
gosh—i have tons of ocs. i’ve brought a lot of them to life here over the years & i have a lot more that i never really wrote her, only in other places. but as of now i currently have 3 active ones & they are:
scarlett ( this one right here )
logan stark ( @ayoungeststark )
aiden danvers ( @stxrsoldier )
these three are my constant characters. the ones that are still active and that i still develop even after so many years ( i’ve had them since 2012-2013, when i first started writing them for a fic ). and even after i’ve dropped so many others along the way, they're stil here. i guess you could say that they're my favorites, because i truly love them, but if i had to choose just one among them, i'd say scarlett is still my absolute favorite, because she's always the most active, the one who's always on my mind. she’s the easiest one for me to write and it’s also the one i put more effort on.
and i think i also should mention that i have a fourth oc—jeremy ( @akryptonianluthor ) he’s a dc oc that i love with my whole heart, but for some reason i can never write him for too long. it’s not because i don’t want to or anything like that it’s just because every time i bring him back something happens & i have to focus on something else. that’s why he’s not very active, but i still love him anyway.

I really love the trialism of the superhero genre. With normal characters I only need to remember their name and sometimes also the name of the actor but with superheroes? I need to remember three names in order to always understand what's going on in the fandom. Do I know that Chris Evans plays Captain America? Yeah but the second someone mentions Steve Rogers, I'm fucked. Am I aware that Supergirl and Kara Danvers are the same person? Do I even remember her birth name, Kara Zor-El? Sure but then someone talks about Melissa Benoist's acting choices and suddenly I'm lost again. Don't even get me started on Natasha Romanoff / Natalia Romanova / Black Widow / Scarlett Johansson. I need to keep literal Excel files with all the names to keep track.

Not really stars and stripes related but who would you fancast for the Avengers?
oooh this was fun! thank you!  sorry my reasons r so nerdy lmfao . the american studies major really jumped out
tony: michael b jordan; i think if tony had been Black it would’ve been more interesting for two reasons which is 1) would have granted representation to Black engineers thru tony and howard bc Black people’s inventions were often overlooked or straight up Stolen for much of american history and 2) i think it magnifies a lot of the tension tony eventually has with the us government because of how direct the impact of state violence has been on Black communities
steve: jin ha; the idea of Asian captain america fascinates me because the us government used military service as a trade-off for citizenship for a lot of ethnic minorities, and a propagandized Asian man attempting to appeal to other Asian Americans/minority Americans before realizing how fucked up the whole thing is and going into the fight himself adds depth beyond U.S. good guys Germany bad guys.  like germany was the bad guys obviously but on the u.s. side i think it was a lot more complex
thor: to be honest i like hemsworth but i think jason mamoa would also really slap?  especially if taika had directed all the thor movies because ragnarok was so distinctly indigenous and if thor had been played by an indigenous actor i think it would have been even more impactful
natasha: devon aoki . thanks so much . i like devon for 2 reasons 1) reparations against scarlett johannson and 2) devon isn’t chinese but exploring the interactions between the ussr and various asian countries would b so cool .... the idea of the second world .... i think that would hit
clint: joel mchale ?? maybe then he would have had some personality. god bless also fuck jeremy renner on a really real level
bruce: oscar isaac; i think he has the same sort of charm that makes ruffalo’s portrayal not boring the way edward norton’s was boring.  obviously i like ruffalo for bruce lmao but i think oscar isaac has the ability to do well both as bruce and the hulk ???  also generally yeah . i get hot professor vibes and i’m not afraid to admit it.
bucky: rami malek; i just think he has the cheekbones for it
peter parker: keiynan lonsdale; i actually read a long hc a while ago about how peter parker’s story could have easily been not so boring and also much more relevant if the origins had been as a result of uncle ben being wrongfully killed by the nypd; it would emphasize the importance in peter’s eyes of justice being delivered outside of the police and why justice and policing are not the same thing
wanda: alba flores; alba’s actually romani so then the casting would be more ethnically correct; she isn’t jewish and the maximoffs are supposed to be mixed romani/jewish so that is also important to mention, but i could not find any faceclaims
pietro: kendji girac, for the same reason lol. UPDATE: okay so @daaeleira reminded me that the maximoffs are romani and jewish which reminded me of a conversation we had a few years ago; aaron taylor johnson is jewish and i know this is not how twins work but if he was pietro he also is at least representing that part of their background; it’s not ideal but it’s more accurate
carol danvers: kelly marie tran; i think a vietnamese carol danvers would have made the refugee plotline a lot more poignant and powerful, esp. if she had started off as a more conservative character like many vietnamese refugees were before realizing that she should show solidarity w the skrulls
i think sam, t’challa, fury, and valkyrie were all well casted i am not gonna lie, and i also don’t feel comfortable recasting minorities.  but i did other side characters/love interests bc im answering this instead of writing an essay lol
sharon carter: i love emily but if peggy is jameela jamil i think sharon should be naomi scott
peggy carter: jameela jamil
jane foster: tia carrere; ok i also think if jane was pacifika it would have been excellent bc of how deep the connection is between indigenous pacifika people and astronomy
pepper potts: melissa fumero. she has the energies
coulson: aubrey plaza i just also think she has the energies
loki: BEN BARNES ??

I see you saw Captain Marvel. what's your opinion on the movie? i kinda liked it, but I feel like i haven't got a strong opinion yet :/
since i don’t know how to write reviews, i’ll just… here goes.
ok so, the movie wasn’t as bad as i expected it to be, and it necessarily wasn’t as Great as i wanted it to be. i say it wasn’t as bad because i always go to a theater with the half ‘how bad can it be’ and half ‘i hope it’ll be good’ kind of an attitude. 7/10 for me. i feel like upon rewatching it i’d give it a 7,5/10.
and now hear out my logic before you go after me or something, because i can explain, okay. it’ll be messy, so i’ll just… do it in points
- music - some of it worked, some of it didn’t. i felt like the need to be 90s-like overwhelmed the directors/producers, and some of the songs weren’t put in the moment they should’ve been, or were put in a wrong way (say, Come As You Are). but it worked for the most part, no big complaints on my side.
- editing - it worked for like 90% of the movie. sometimes the editing was so quick that i couldn’t tell what was going on. but even the badly edited moments are light years ahead from the TASM movies.
- the make up was just… amazing. the fact that the skrulls looked so good makes you wonder why fox got lazy on their make up with like one fucking person. mcu literally paints like half of their characters, even wade wilson in fox looks just wonderful, and then you have raven who looks more and more like shit with every movie she appears in.skrulls looked almost breathtaking, i was really amazed by the job the make up artists did, huge kudos to them. the fact that talos expressed his emotions so well under the prosthetic was just… wow. kree looked very good, the glowing on carol look very nice, and the cgi on nick fury was just freaking groundbreaking - at some point you just couldn’t believe this guy is like 70yo in real life. when the cgi is so good you don’t even notice it, then you know that the artist reached their goal.
- i liked the world building. i understood the cosmic stuff for the most part. i knew who, why, when, and what for. the movie had a lot to say in not so much time, yet it still kinda managed to no overwhelm me with the information.
- i adored the interactions. characters were playing off each other really well. the buddy cop relationship between carol and fury was undoubtedly one of the best parts of the movie.
- the pacing was great. some of the marvel movies or movies in general really feel like they want to be 8 hours long, and this movie doesn’t have that problem. you don’t really notice the time passing, the scenes don’t drag, there’s no focusing on such bullshit like obligatory/forced hetero relationships, too long conversations, or too long action scenes, and before you know it the movie ends - that’s how you know the pacing was fine. (compare it to AMATW and how it dragged. seriously, i needed breaks while watching ant-man and the wasp. i couldn’t sit and watch this whole movie. thank god i didn’t go to the cinema for that because i’d probably annoy everyone with pee breaks every 3 minutes. but that’s an opinion, don’t @ me, we can have different opinions about different movies and still live a good life.)
- i really, really enjoyed the way the movie mixed everything. you have the kree, you have skrulls, you have humans, shield, the air force, some flashbacks, and the movie doesn’t feel like a frankenstein kind of a creature. take TASM 2 for example where it feels like you’re watching 9 different movies put in 1 movie despite the action taking place in one freaking city. i felt like it was all tied together very well in captain marvel, and i think it may be because the main character took you on the journey and showed you everything from her perspective, and it worked.
- the humor was so good. you had to get used to carol’s snarky comments or how she brushes off everything with jokes, and then some dry-like kind of humor came in, and then some real humor came in, and even if some jokes didn’t land, it still felt like that person would actually say it.
- i like the twist with mar-vell [*‘everything has to be like in the comics’ people screeching in the background*]. i like how the skrull were done - i really, really felt for the skrulls (that moment when talos rubbed his face against his wife… my eyes watered.)
- goose the cat. that’s it. he won my heart.
- and as i mentioned before - the movie also undercuts these superhero-landing tropes - we’ve seen that before, it’s not so impressive anymore, AND we’re gonna see it dialled to 11 in endgame.
- now hear me out and don’t @ me - brie larson does not have the MCU-like charisma… YET. just yet. she’s on a good ground. you know she likes that role, it shows she likes that role, she wants to play it, she wants to be that character.
mcu charisma is what i like to call the kind of a vibe that the mcu actors give off when playing their roles. you know nobody could replace tony stark, you know nobody could play steve rogers the same way evans does, you watch tom holland and forget it’s tom holland, you see a peter parker, you look at rhodes and forget there’s an actor underneath. i didn’t feel that with brie larson just yet in like 1/3 of the movie. i could see her acting, see her having fun and knowing what she’d like to do.
and i’m NOT saying it’s her fault she doesn’t have that charisma yet. i think the fault’s in the writing and the directing. carol danvers did not have enough ‘me’ screentime. again, don’t @ me, i do not criticize the acting or the actress, or the movie. it’s about how her character was written into the story. because it felt just like that - she was written into the story, instead of the story being written around her, despite her being the main character. and it was a glaring problem that wasn’t really a problem you cared about - and that was because the lines delivery was great, the movie was funny, well-paced, well-acted, the action was good, the music for the most part was good, the cgi aged well. so you didn’t really notice that lack of ‘is she the charcter yet, has she become the character yet?’ thing.
but then again, i didn’t feel for steve rogers up until the end of the movie where he crashed the ship. i didn’t feel for thor in any other movies than the avengers, ragnarok, and then endgame. i still don’t feel for sam wilson EVEN THOUGH i like the character (he certainly has more depth than black widow in one movie than she has in all the movies, and it’s the writers’ fault, not scarlett’s). i have never felt for black widow - she has no character for me. she’s better now than she was in im2, but i still don’t like her as a character, and that is because i have… nothing… to like. she’s snarky and bland for me. and it’s a shame because then you see shuri or pepper potts, or okoye, or even aunt may and you can tell they have a lot of depth despite being given not so much time on the screen. and then natasha shows up and like, ugh. *spider-man noir voice* who are you again?
some of the mcu actors hit off with the character charisma the moment they show up on the screen, some of them take their time, and it’s ok. it’s absolutely ok for brie larson to not BE carol danvers yet.
we’re yet to see her in endgame and in other movies, so i’m more than certain she she’ll become a captain marvel.
i feel like she’ll kind of have this thor complex - boring (yet carol is way way way way better in her movie that thor was in thor 1 and 2, don’t @ me, i really don’t like thor 1 & 2) in the origin movie, but wackier and ultiple times more interesting as it goes on. she also has this stephen strange complex - she needs more characterization the way doctor strange did. strange was a prodigy in almost everything he did job-wise but was disconnected with his emotional side, and i kinda feel the same for carol danvers.
she will be good, i feel it, i believe in it, give her time. even though i liked her in the movie, she still lacks some depth. that’s not to say she has no depth, no, she has a lot of it. she just hasn’t been able to show it yet.
overall, given that it was a first movie with such huge budget for those indie movie directors, i think they managed. yes, the movie is a bit scattered, and it lacks a bit of depth, but it ties into the mcu very well, it’s entertaining, the humor is good, and the action is good.
7/10. lighthearted and entertaining, even if a bit choppy. we can discuss.

HEWWO i as a friend (wait am i a friend? ) wanna know your top 3 marvel characters but mainly i wanna kn ow wh y. also i love ur gifsets BAI
HEY!!! (yes of couRSE!!!)
OH okay wELL, i’m always bad at the why bc i’ve never been good at explaining myself but okay..
natasha romanoff, my love my life my everything. this was never really a choice, it was like the character chose me, you know when you just connect with a character like they were made to be a part of you? yeah same. (i mean when i have the money my black widow tattoo is happening so like she’s gonna be part of me forever.) also, she happens to be the most badass ever, i mean those SKILLZ, and that killer thigh move murder me now. that scene in the avengers still gets me !!!! every time. the growth she’s gone through. she cares so deeply, just does her damnedest to hide it. slowly beginning to let her guard down with people she’s learnt to trust (also, the emotional wall and the lack of trust thing is so me and i just feel that on a deep level), making friends, finding a family, blossoming to become the best version of herself. the strength she has, her sense of humour, the way she just IS. i could honestly talk about her for hours on end. she just has a special place in my heart. also, i have the biggest weakness for redheads and scarlett so some say this was inevitable. she doesn’t realise how much she’s worth, and how important she is and how LOVED she is. mother and soul of the avengers. the strongest avenger. (y’all know i just started crying)
hope van dyne, oH now where do i even begin. at this point i feel like all my faves choose me. she’s snarky, cute, slight daddy issues, would kick your ass tomorrow if you asked her to teach you how she did it afterwards. oh and she has a giant heart, it’s so big you could probably hear it beating from miles away. her emotions are delicate and she likes to hide that as much as possible, but sometimes you’ve just got to let it out you know?! the way she was always fighting to be the one in the middle of the battle, be the one in the suit, the one taking a stand. she has these strong ass beliefs and wants to be the one trying to do something about it. also, those wings, and her skillz and everything good god she could murder me tomorrow and i’d be very freakin’ grateful. also, my heart can’t take her love for scott. the only het couple that mATTERS.
carol freakin’ danvers, the power she has. i’m mostly just inspired by carol. the “i have nothing to prove to you” line hit me like a brick. sometimes i wish i was like carol, because i spend 95% of my time trying to make people proud of me, or happy, and worrying about what other people think, AND SHE DOESN’T GIVE A DAMN. and that’s one of my favourite things about her. this life was very much forced on her, and the way she deals with it is incredible. her sarcasm and wit is literally everything. also, her friendship with fury is life, and giVE ME CAROL AND MARIA NOW. when she’s trying to discover herself again, and realises that she’s worthy af and she doesn’t need anyones approval, it hit me like a tonne of bricks. i want to be a little bit more like carol danvers. also, she’s so freakin’ powerful, and like honestly that bit in endgame i’m still yelling tbh.
SPECIAL MENTION to my baby boy bruce banner, who if i was any character in the mcu it would probably be him, he has my entire heart and soul. this grumpy, stressed, science geek, that shows all his emotions (by turning green but you know i don’t quite go that far) he has a giant heart, he is so smart, and ridiculous, and clumsy at times and basically i would die for bruce banner, he deserves the world and he was very almost 3rd place and then i felt bad leaving him out of this post to here we are. DAB.

My Endgame Ted Talk with Spoilers
If you don’t want spoilers, don’t continue.
Final Warning.
Don’t look if you don’t want to be spoiled.
Okay, I’ve seen it twice.  Once Thursday and once Friday.  Tomorrow will be number 3 in Imax.  I’ve seen Captain Marvel at least eight times.  Yea, I’m an obsessive nerd.  But I digress.  Final chance to look away.  Also... LANGUAGE
Time travel.  Ugh.  Who thought of that?  My God, what a total shit show.
2014 Thanos is DEAD.  How the hell did Infinity Wars even happen.  Yes, going back makes your future your past.  I get it.  But Thanos went to the future and DIED.  There’s NO EXCUSE FOR THAT.  He is now out of that timeline.  There is NO Thanos to take his place in 2014.  SO EXPLAIN THAT RUSSO BROTHERS!
Besides THAT obvious blunder.  It looks like all of Peter Parker’s friends are still the same age in Far From Home.  So out of half of the population, not a single one of them aged five years?  Is THAT what you expect me to believe?
Okay... suspend reality.  If I can get past ALL of that... The Russo brothers brought Agent Carter into the MCU (movie) with Jarvis.  So... Captain America goes back to the 1940s.  (After SOMEHOW getting Mjolnir back to Asgard without a space ship!  (Not to mention the soul stone back to Vormir) WTF!)  He just LETS Bucky stay in the hands of the Russians?  He just LETS Bucky kill Tony’s parents?  Is THAT how you want to play this, Russos?  REALLY?  Because that’s the kind of guy Steve Rogers is?????
So... without all the time travel shit.  Let’s talk about Black Widow sacrificing herself.  WE DON’T GET A BLACK WIDOW MOVIE, BUT WE DO GET BLACK WIDOW DYING!?!?!  What the actual fuck?!  THE ONLY FEMALE OF THE AVENGERS 6 AND SHE SACRIFICES HERSELF?  After the new girl comes along even!  The new, younger, billion dollar girl comes along, and the first woman sacrifices herself for the good of the family??!?!?!?!  IS THIS 2019 I’m living in?  Because WHO THE HELL THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA?  Didn’t Scarlett read the script and say,  have ya’ll not heard of #MeToo?  I love Captain Marvel, don’t get me wrong.  LOVED IT.  But this was just lazy.  I could go on and on about this.  But I think you understand me.
I could talk about Thor’s PTSD being the running fat joke of the movie.  But I think that’s already been discussed.
There were some really really good parts to this movie.  I loved EVERYTHING Captain America.  Everything.  The way he called Mjolnir to him.  The way he used the lightning.  When he said Avengers Assemble it watered my crops, cleared my acne, centered my chi, and gave my broken soul a little life.  America’s ass?  Yes, it is.
There was not nearly enough Carol Danvers.  She looked great, but still not enough.  And the all girl squad WITHOUT Black Widow?  FAN SERVICE.
And we haven’t even scratched the surface of Loki being alive.  Where did he hide the Tesseract?  Did Steve go back to that time and hunt Loki down?  Sigh.
Okay...  So that I think that covers some of it.  I’m sure I’ll notice more tomorrow.
How many movies are we going to get to fix this one?  I mean... yea... this shit needs fixed.

Request Info
Hello, everyone!
I write Character x Fem!Reader stories/imagines/headcanons. Fluff, angst, and smut are accepted as long as they follow the guidelines. I also accept platonic requests.
I will not write about eating disorders, weight loss (physical insecurities are fine), nonconsensual sex, emotional/physical domestic violence, sexual degradation, physical punishments, or anything not listed here that I find myself to be uncomfortable with.
Also, I am a lesbian, and sometimes, I simply can’t get inspired to write for men. I will try my hardest to tap back into my twenty-one years of experience with comphet, but I can’t promise my AuDHD brain will find the motivation for it. I’m sorry in advance, if I can’t fulfill your request.
And, as mentioned above, I do have ASD and ADHD. My hyperfixations play a significant role in what I want and can get myself to write. So, again, I apologize if I cannot fulfill your request — at least not right away — due to this.

Important: Please, when you request, give me a good bit of detail. Don’t just simply say, “Wanda Maximoff x Reader.” Let me know what it is you want, and please specify if you want angst, fluff, etc.
Also Important: I will try to update as much as possible, but I am battling some personal issues with depression, which affects my motivation to write. So, please, be patient. :) Also, English is my first language, but I am dyslexic, so please excuse any word/letter flipping and misspelling I overlook, since I am a very lazy proofreader.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to shoot me a message!
Thank you! Have a great day!

so i just got back from endgame and now its time for me to drop all my thoughts.
behind a cut like a responsible person because tags don’t fucking save everyone.
i really enjoyed the fucking movie?
the time travel and nostalgia were just excellent
there were so many comic tie ins and i was losing my fucking mind. even the hail hydra hydra cap shit was HILARIOUSLY EXCELLENT.
HAMMER WIELDING STEVE! i’ve been waiting years for this. fear itself motherfuckers.
all the call backs were just so enjoyable.
the big battle with so many people felt so epic and i was so pleased and highly emotional whatever the usual
THE TIMEY WIMEY SHIT. the regular time travel, great got it okay. i find it super interesting that we’re all existing in this new five years in the future with a changed planet thing. its going to set things up to be super cool in the coming movies.
FALCON CAP. YES.
AVENGERS LADY SQUAD REPRESENT (missing natashaaaaaaa)
THE KID FROM IRON MAN 3 AT THE FUNERAL!? AMAZING.
CAROL DANVERS IN HER POWER SUIT AND SHORT HAIR STANDING ON THE STAIRS LIKE A FUCKING *ICON*
BUT.
natasha’s death (which someone who decided to post their thoughts to tumblr on fucking wednesday without using a cut spoiled for me) felt really fridgey. since i knew she was going to die i was able to spot it a mile away as the pieces started to fall into place.
all the men reacting to the death of the ONLY FEMALE MEMBER OF THE ORIGINAL SIX AVENGERS felt reallyyyyyyyyyy bullshit to me.
and when red skull called her daughter of ivan and she didn’t know who the fuck that was? really?! ivan is so integral to the black widow mythos for natasha. it just really explicitly threw it out there that we know next to fucking nothing about her history and her story when we know so much about the men and have spent all this time building up THEIR stories. such bullshit.
especially with people being like SO SCARLETT NOW THAT WONDER WOMAN AND CAPTAIN MARVEL HAVE PROVEN WHAT WE ALREADY KNEW, WOMEN CAN BE SUPER HEROES, WHEN ARE WE GETTING A BLACK WIDOW MOVIE? and she was always like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  well no fucking shit with this.
also i really wanted clint’s daughter from the trailer and opening scene to be kate. at least with cassie all grown up, we can get some straight up young avengers action.
also. the timey wimey implications of steve GOING further back to in the past to get with peggy and live to old age? steve! she had a husband and children and grandchildren and sharon. are they just gone now? did he never mention hydra existing in her company?
it was clear that bucky knew that he wasn’t just coming back in five seconds like everything was fine. but i wanted them to get to fucking sunset together. now bucky is the man out of time and that man deserves a fucking break with stupid ass steve rogers.
ugh idk. i wish the writers and the mcu men would understand. steve is more than just peggy. but more importantly. peggy is MORE than steve. and erasing her like. history to have a happily ever after with steve? feels wrong.
PEGGY KNOWS HER VALUE. and it is MORE than being captain america’s sweetheart.
OKAY.
i think i’ve finished exploding. I know that there is a bigger rant section than the happy section but thats because i can easily put into words my issues (of which there are really only two? and a half?)
and enjoying the movie and its characters and action and pacing and nostalgia and tie ins is a lot more difficult to break down into walls of text lmao.
i shall be happy to de-age steve from like 80 and let him and bucky go off into the sunset where they will answer any questions sam has and take a fucking vacation.
Tumblr media
also, the russos really are incapable of making a movie without putting themselves in it lmao.
are we just going to pretend that this movie’s cameo is the same doctor as the one from cap 2? because the guy in cap 3 is very dead.
OKAYI ‘M DONE I’M STOPPING NOW.
hooooooooooooooo.

Phase 4 is now in full swing and Marvel Studios is showing no signs of slowing down – in fact, there are a whopping 13 upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies releasing after Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Originally, the MCU’s Phase 4 would’ve gotten underway in 2020 with Black Widow, Shang-Chi, and Eternals coming out in the summer and fall, ultimately leading into a bigger 2021 filled with sequels and TV shows. Of course, things changed because of the pandemic, but overall, the slate has remained mostly the same.
The 2021 movies have been kept in their same release order, though the Marvel TV shows that have been airing on Disney+ shifted around a bit. WandaVision ended up being the first Phase 4 release instead of Black Widow, which led into The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, of which the former would’ve ideally come out after Scarlett Johansson’s film. Still, it all worked out in the end and by and large, the fundamental story for the MCU hasn’t been altered a whole lot.
Related: Why Shang-Chi Is The Real Beginning Of Phase 4 Movies (Not Black Widow)
For Marvel fans, all of these changes and moves just means there will be more MCU content to consume in a shorter period of time. Practically every week there will be something MCU related either in theaters or on TV – sometimes both. At the time of Shang-Chi‘s release, What If…? is still in the first half of season 1. But despite that, Marvel has established a thought process of always looking ahead to the next release, and to see how what’s airing right now will connect to what releases in one month, two months, and even two years later. That’s why the studio has already announced more than a dozen upcoming MCU movies.
Tumblr media
Eternals is one of the most intriguing movies coming from Marvel Studios. Not only does it introduce several new superpowered beings into the MCU but it also revamps what audiences know about the world and the history of superheroes. As a race of immortals created by the Celestials, the Eternals arrived on Earth thousands of years ago and remained in the shadows until the events of Avengers: Endgame, and the return of the blipped people, force them out of hiding. Now they will have to battle the other race the Celestials created: the Deviants.
The interesting thing about the Eternals isn’t their immortality but their power levels; practically each of them can take on the Avengers alone (and even Thanos) and come out victorious. It’s why bringing this story to life required a stacked cast of A-list stars, such as Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, and more. Furthermore, those involved with the film have hyped up the movie’s quality, owing its unique feel to director and Academy Award winner Chloe Zhao. Of course, specific details regarding the plot of the film have remained under wraps, with some characters like Kit Harington’s Black Knight even being hidden from most of the marketing. There’s potential for Eternals to reshape the entire MCU, so it makes sense that Marvel producers are keeping things close to the chest.
Tumblr media
It’s fair to say the most anticipated Marvel movie at the moment is Spider-Man: No Way Home, which broke Avengers: Endgame‘s all-time trailer views in just 24 hours. And it makes why, considering No Way Home is the third installment in an immensely popular superhero trilogy; it features Doctor Strange, one of the MCU’s most popular characters; and brings back characters from past Spider-Man franchises, such as Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus. Combining all that with a story exploring the newly-formed Multiverse, there’s potential for No Way Home to become one of the biggest superhero movies of all time.
Related: Why Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Trailer Beat Endgame’s Huge Record
Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the film, along with Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds from the previous two installments, not to mention Benedict Wong as Wong and Jamie Foxx as Electro as well. Jon Watts is also back to direct the film, which will mark his final Spider-Man movie before he moves on to helm Fantastic Four for Marvel Studios. Based on the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, the Multiverse and Sinister Six villains like Doc Ock and Green Goblin will be prominent throughout the plot, but how it all comes together and leads into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be what draws in many MCU fans.
Tumblr media
Coming almost six years after the first Doctor Strange movie hit theaters, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be Phase 4’s big team-up movie in lieu of The Avengers 5. Doctor Strange was integral to saving the universe from Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, and he can no longer remain on the sidelines following Tony Stark’s death and Steve Rogers’ retirement. The world needs a hero like Doctor Strange, and unfortunately for him and the Masters of the Mystic Arts, the universe will need his help. Loki‘s season 1 finale officially created the MCU Multiverse, something that resulted in What If…? and will impact Spider-Man: No Way Home. All of it will culminate in the story of Doctor Strange 2.
Doctor Strange will have his job cut out for him when he attempts to secure the Multiverse in his upcoming sequel, which also sees Elizabeth Olsen return as Scarlet Witch, Tom Hiddleston back as Loki, and depending on what happens in No Way Home, possibly Tom Holland as Spider-Man. They will all be joined by Xochitl Gomez, who’s making her MCU debut as America Chavez, with Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor all reprising their roles from the first movie. Not only will Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness bring together various corners of the MCU, but there’s a high chance it can drastically impact the rest of Phase 4 and beyond. It could become a culminating film in the same way Captain America: Civil War was.
Tumblr media
Taika Waititi revamped Thor with Thor: Ragnarok and turned the Asgardian hero into one of the franchise’s most popular characters. Now, he’s back with a sequel that sees Chris Hemsworth back as Thor – currently the only Phase 1 character to receive a fourth installment thus far – as well as Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, but this time wielding Mjolnir as the MCU’s version of Mighty Thor. And building off the success of Thor’s friendship with the Guardians of the Galaxy in the last two Avengers films, the core Guardians team will also appear in the film.
Related: Everything About Thor: Love And Thunder Is More Exciting Than Thor Himself
Thor: Love & Thunder is an exciting step for Thor’s narrative but also for the franchise as a whole, because it’s the first truly cosmic story of Phase 4, not to mention it’s a massive movie with lots of characters. In addition to people like Tessa Thompson and Jeff Goldblum reprising their roles from Ragnarok, Thor: Love & Thunder will see Lady Sif return to the big screen, along with Christian Bale appearing as the villain Gorr the God Butcher; furthermore, the Olympian gods will finally make their debut, thanks to Russell Crowe playing Zeus. By incorporating the Greek pantheon, Thor: Love & Thunder will open the door to a new corner of the MCU, one that could eventually see someone like Hercules have a prominent role with the Avengers.
Tumblr media
It goes without saying that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be one of the biggest and most emotional movies ever to release in the MCU. Chadwick Boseman’s untimely death means fans will never get to see T’Challa again in a new role (other than Boseman’s brief stint voicing T’Challa’s Star-Lord in What If…?), but that doesn’t mean the weight of his absence won’t be felt. The Black Panther sequel will undoubtedly address T’Challa’s whereabouts (presumably his death), and coming to terms with it all will propel the story forward. Beyond tidbits of what the script is like, as well as the core cast from the first film returning for Wakanda Forever, not much has been revealed about the story. Reports suggest Atlantis and the character Namor will be involved, but that has yet to be confirmed, despite all the evidence suggesting the rumors are true.
Interestingly, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will introduce Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams, who will return in her own TV series Ironheart in the future. Riri ends up becoming her own version of Iron Man in the comics and will surely follow the same path on-screen. And although much of the sequel will be overshadowed by T’Challa not being there, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will have the opportunity to set up the future of Wakanda in the MCU, given there’s room for additional sequels as well as new TV shows in the works.
Tumblr media
The Marvels perfectly encapsulates the MCU’s new approach to sequels; it’s a sequel, but not one that’s singularly about one character, nor is it a direct follow-up to the previous film. Instead, The Marvels follows Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel as she unites with Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, both of whom will make their transitions from Disney+ to the big screen. The Marvels is a team-up movie that combines Marvel Studios’ two fronts – TV and film – and it works to harmonize the expanded universe the studio is creating.
Related: Who’d Be On Captain Marvel’s Replacement Avengers (& How Powerful They’d Be)
Unfortunately, aside from the main trio involved in the film, not much is known about where the story will go. Of course, part of the sequel will need to explore Monica’s powers, which she unlocked during the events of WandaVision, as well as where Kamala’s story goes in this franchise following her debut in the Ms. Marvel TV series. Regardless, the possibilities are huge for The Marvels, which is being directed by Nia DaCosta; it can finally reveal what’s been happening across the galaxy following Thanos and Hulk’s snaps.
Tumblr media
If it weren’t for Ant-Man, the universe might not have been saved in Endgame. And now that he’s officially become an Avenger and taken on Thanos, Marvel Studios is giving Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne aka the Wasp a bigger threat to deal with in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Loki’s season 1 finale introduced the character He Who Remains, who’s a variant of the iconic Marvel Comics villain Kang the Conqueror. Jonathan Majors will appear next in the upcoming sequel film as Kang, and he’ll likely dive further into the concept of the Multiverse as well as what the Quantum Realm has to do with it all. It allowed the Avengers to time travel in Endgame, after all, so it must play a part in exploring the Multiverse.
In addition to Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly returning in the title roles, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will also see Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer reprise their roles as the original Ant-Man and Wasp. However, Kathryn Newton will be taking over the role as an adult Cassie Lang from Emma Fuhrmann, who starred in Endgame. It remains to be seen specifically how the threequel will connect with the other MCU movies, other than Kang potentially becoming a multiversal villain for the franchise, but it should  have some implications for Loki season 2.
Tumblr media
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was originally supposed to launch Phase 4 alongside Black Widow, but things quickly changed when Disney fired James Gunn, only to later rehire him – but by that point, he was already working on The Suicide Squad for WB. Now that The Suicide Squad has released and Gunn has wrapped filming on Peacemaker season 1, he can refocus on Marvel and get going on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as well as The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which will release in advance of the sequel on Disney+. Both releases will take place after the events of Thor: Love & Thunder.
Related: James Gunn Should Return To Horror After Guardians Of The Galaxy 3
Although the movie has been on the backburner for quite some time, the story hasn’t changed. Gunn’s script and much of its elements have been retained. Of course, Gunn may approach the film a little differently after his experience working on The Suicide Squad, particularly the realism factor, as he’s previously mentioned. So far, nothing has been revealed about the core story, other than when it takes place in relation to other films. However, cast members of the core Guardians team (all of whom will presumably return in the sequel) have expressed excitement about the script, with some calling it incredible. No matter what happens, though, it will be Gunn’s final Guardians of the Galaxy movie and likely his last Marvel film as well.
Tumblr media
Ever since it was announced Disney was looking to acquire 21st Century Fox, MCU fans have been clamoring for Marvel’s take on X-Men and the Fantastic Four, but before the studio gets to the mutants, they will be adapting the First Family. This marks the second Fantastic Four reboot after 20th Century Fox’s two previous attempts, the last of which was in 2015. So far, the only thing confirmed about the Fantastic Four film is that Jon Watts is directing. Watts found great success in helming Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy, so there’s already an established working relationship there, not to mention he’s proven that he can turn around a film in two years. Each Spider-Man movie released two years apart, and as long as Watts retains that schedule, there’s no reason to assume Fantastic Four won’t release by the end of 2023 or early 2024. But before things get underway, Fantastic Four will need to cast its titular heroes.
Tumblr media
Rebooting the Fantastic Four and diving into the Multiverse all made sense for Marvel Studios, but the surprising thing is the studio also plans to reboot Blade. Up until now, vampires have only been mentioned in passing, but they will become a focus in either Phase 4 or 5. Mahershala Ali apparently contacted Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige with the hopes of portraying Blade, and Feige was quick to jump on board. This will mark Ali’s second Marvel character on-screen, seeing as he originally portrayed the villain Cottonmouth in Netflix’s Luke Cage. Currently, there aren’t any details about which characters will appear in the movie or what the story will be about. However, Stacy Osei-Kuffour is writing the script, Bassam Tariq is directing, and filming is expected to begin in July 2022, thus suggesting that the movie could release in theaters as early as late 2023. It would be a prime candidate for Halloween 2023, given the vampiric and horror vibe.
Tumblr media
Currently, the only character to be retained from the Disney-Fox deal is Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. Since he’s the most popular character from Fox’s X-Men series, aside from Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, it makes sense that Marvel Studios will want to keep Reynolds on board for future installments. Plus, it’s easy to manage story-wise, knowing that Deadpool has the ability to break the fourth wall, and perhaps even crossover between universes. Marvel would be remiss to not plainly acknowledge the situation in the next film.
Related: How Deadpool 3 Can Setup The MCU’s X-Men
Two years after the acquisition was first announced, Reynolds revealed Deadpool 3 was in development. It was later confirmed that the sequel would be rated R (making it the first R-rated movie from Marvel Studios) and set in the main MCU continuity. A director hasn’t been hired yet, but the script is being worked on by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, with filming expected to begin sometime in 2022. If everything goes according to plan, Deadpool 3 could release by the end of 2023 or in early 2024 – perhaps as a Valentine’s Day release like the first film.
Tumblr media
Coinciding with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s finale, Captain America 4 was revealed to be in development with the story and script coming from the Disney+ series’ head writer and staff writer, respectively, Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The fourth Captain America movie will, of course, follow Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson who officially became the new Captain America at the end of his TV series, donning his own Captain America costume and saving the day as the country’s latest hero.
Mackie later signed on to star in the movie, thus suggesting that Marvel is looking to fast-track the project to release either in 2023 or 2024, so long as the studio lands a director by the end of 2021 or early 2022. It’s unclear if Sebastian Stan will return as Bucky Barnes in the sequel, but since he’s been in every previous Captain America film and co-starred in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it only makes sense for him to return, not to mention for Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter to return as well, since she was revealed to be the Power Broker.

At the end of Marvel Studios’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, studio head Kevin Feige teased plans to introduce the X-Men into the MCU. Disney had only recently closed their acquisition of 21st Century Fox at the time, and so, Marvel couldn’t have had anything concrete in the works given the rules and regulations around mergers and acquisitions in the United States. However, it’s been two years and there must be something on the board. When X-Men will release is unclear, but the fact that it’s been mentioned is great for fans. It means the team isn’t being completely shunned in favor of developing the Fantastic Four reboot, which will happen first.

Avengers: Infinity War confirmed/possible cast list as of 7/19/17
The Russos have said that there are 68 characters in the film and later said that wasn’t true and they were still in the planning stages. In recent months, Scarlett Johanssen has said that the film has 62 characters. So I went through some articles and consolidated what they came up with.
Confirmed, in no particular order:
01. Steve Rogers/Captain America 02. Tony Stark/Iron Man 03. Scott Lang/Ant-Man 04. T'Challa/Black Panther 05. Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow 06. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel 07. The Collector 08. Dr. Strange 09. Sam Wilson/Falcon 10. Peter Quill/Star Lord 11. Gamora 12. Rocket Raccoon 13. Groot 14. Drax 15. Nebula 16. Peter Parker/Spider-Man 17. Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch 18. Loki 19. Thor 20. Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier 21. Nick Fury 22. Clint Barton/Hawkeye 23. Mantis 24. Thanos 25. Vision 26. Bruce Banner/The Hulk 27. Cul Obsidian 28. Okoye 29. Sam Wilson/Falcon 30. Wong 31. James Rhodes/War Machine 32. M'Baku/Man-Ape 33. Sally Avril 34. Valkyrie 35. Corvus Glaive 36. Proxima Midnight 37. Ebony Maw 38. Stan Lee's cameo
Possible: Betty Ross Maria Hill (very likely) Hela Shuri Nova Prime Sharon Carter Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross Pepper Potts Happy Hogan Hank Pym (unlikely - Michael Douglas's contract was apparently only for one film, but he has stated he would be willing to come back) Luis MJ/Michelle May Parker Odin (very likely - seen on NYC set with Loki) Dr. Erik Selvig (very likely) Heimdall (very likely) Sif Volstagg Hogun Fandrall Peter Dinklage (unknown character but strongly rumored) Darcy Lewis (unlikely) Jane Foster (extremely unlikely, given her dissatisfaction (hate?) for Marvel at the present time) Rhomann Dey
Reportedly, Hope van Dyne/Wasp will NOT be in Infinity War Part I because Marvel wants to focus more on her origin in the Ant Man & Wasp film which comes out after Part I, but she is expected to be in Part II.
Markus has said that every living character in the MCU could make an appearance. Even Darcy's boyfriend from Thor 2. But it would be unwise to rule out flashbacks/hallucinations of Peggy Carter, Yondu, or Tony's parents.
The confirmed and the possible characters come to a total of 62 exactly. Obviously, there’s a lot of room for error.
Also, I haven’t seen any rumors about them appearing, but I suspect we’ll likely seen the Cameron Klein character in at least a cameo, though I’m not sure it will be enough to confirm his name.
There’s also Christine Palmer, since it’s been a while since we saw her, but her role in Dr. Strange was so slight (and not written by Markus and McFeely) that I’d say it’s unlikely we see her. We might get a mention of her, but she might be harder to work in than many of the others.
There’s also Christine Everheart, who did some “news segments” to precede CA:CW. Again, that would likely be a cameo role.

‘Captain Marvel’ After Credits Scene May Hint At ‘Avengers’ Theory
This post was originally published on this site
Warning! There are “Captain Marvel” spoilers below. Obviously.
We know Captain Marvel is one of the strongest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but does she also have the super secret ability to become invisible in movie marketing materials?
With the release of “Captain Marvel,” and more specifically the movie’s after credits scene, we know how Brie Larson’s character is connected to the upcoming “Avengers: Endgame.” In the scene, some of the survivors from “Avengers: Infinity War” ― Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) ― all huddle around the mysterious pager Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) activated before he disappeared after Thanos (Josh Brolin) snapped his fingers and wiped out half the universe. The signal Fury sent on the pager has now stopped, and the gang of heroes doesn’t know what to do.
“Tell me the second you get a signal. I want to know who’s on the other end of that thing,” says Black Widow, who turns around to see Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers somehow standing there and staring her in the face.
“Where’s Fury?” says Danvers.
The scene, beyond showing how Captain Marvel finally teams up with the Avengers (and that the Avengers seriously need to think about their building security), may also confirm another Marvel secret: The studio is messing with us.
Since the after credits scene shows Captain Marvel is with the Avengers, it’s possible she was secretly edited out of the previously released “Avengers: Endgame” teaser.
Marvel regularly manipulates its teasers and trailers to hide secrets from audiences. It’s kind of their thing. For instance, the studio erased Spider-Man from early trailers for “Captain America: Civil War.” So when the “Avengers: Endgame” teaser premiered during the Super Bowl and featured some curious gaps between characters, fans took notice.
Two moments stood out. First, the blank space between Cheadle and Ruffalo when the Avengers look up towards the sky in this scene:

OK, so did Don Cheadle just forget his deodorant that day, or could Captain Marvel secretly be standing there?
All the characters in the “Captain Marvel” after credits scene also appear above, minus Captain Marvel, of course. Also, in the after credit scene, Captain America is still sporting his bearded look from “Infinity War,” meaning it probably occurs shortly after the events of that movie. In the scene above, he’s clean shaven, so presumably Captain Marvel already had contact with the Avengers before this moment takes place.
Knowing Captain Marvel eventually meets up with the Avengers, she could also have been edited from another clip that caught the attention of hawk-eyed viewers: the superhero power-walk scene.
Fans have been speculating that a gap toward the end of the line is a place for Bruce Banner’s Hulk (possibly the more intelligent Professor Hulk). But knowing about the “Captain Marvel” credits scene, it’s possible she’s supposed to be in there somewhere, too.

Following the release of the “Endgame” teaser, I reached out to forensic video expert Ed Primeau, who you might have seen on CNN deciphering Donald Trump and Michael Cohen audio tapes. Primeau said you can’t scientifically explain if a character has been removed from the scenes through YouTube videos because those files have been compressed and lack the necessary metadata. However, he did agree that there was a possibility characters were removed.
“There’s real estate there. If I was doing a production … there would be a little bit different composition, perhaps.”
Primeau stopped short of saying there’s a “high degree of probability,” which is the strongest opinion he could give, but added, “There’s definitely a possibility that there was something there and they decided to remove it in order to keep a secret with the film.”
The “Captain Marvel” after credits scene adds further credence to that possibility.
Additionally, Disney reportedly showed new footage of “Endgame” at a shareholders meeting on Thursday that confirms Captain Marvel is definitely on Earth and aiding the Avengers. Here’s a description of the telling Carol Danvers moment, which supposedly takes place at Avengers headquarters and somehow also includes Nebula according to Comicbook.com:
The footage starts out with the Avengers sitting in the room at the Avengers compound we saw in the first teaser and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is in attendance. Nebula (Karen Gillan) mentions that she thinks Thanos would go to “the garden” after he completed his plan.
Captain Marvel speaks up and tells the group they need to go there and use the stones to undo everything.
Look, maybe the Avengers just like standing awkwardly far apart like every day is their 8th grade dance, or maybe, just maybe, Thanos is in for a big surprise courtesy of the newest member of the team.
