Too Young to Fall in Love Chapter 33 (Dirt!Nikki x Reader)

Title: Too Young to Fall in Love 33

Summary: Nikki Sixx was a hard partying musician on the strip. He never expected to fall in love with anyone, until a girl knocked on his dressing room door looking for a ride home and took his breath away. Just like everything else Nikki did; the drugs, the money, the music; Nikki went hard with love. (Y/n) Bass never expected the bassist of Motley Crue to be the one to shake her calm and calculated life up. She had a plan. Graduate school, become an epic producer, and watch from behind the scenes as her brother’s band rose to fame. Nikki and (Y/n) were perfect for each other, too bad her brother, Tommy, didn’t think so.

Series warnings: Smut (18+ Please), drug use, language, referenced miscarriage, drug overdose, mentioned attempted suicide, out of character moments for everyone in the band, the timeline might be a little screwy but it’s fanfiction! I know nothing of music production and my medical knowledge is really screwy, so it won’t be accurate.

Nikki tumbled as he got out of his car, running back to turn the engine off before he rushed to Athena’s door. He knocked furiously waiting for an answer. Tommy answered, looking at the bassist.

“Nikki?” He asked.

“Is (Y/n) ok? Mick said that she fainted? I saw her at the Hollywood sign but I was too chicken to talk to her and then… I just left and… she’s not on anything is she?” he ran his fingers through his hair.

“Oh, uh...no. She’s in the guest room resting right now.” Tommy said. “Do you want to go check on her? I don’t think she’s feeling good.” Nikki thought back to when she was sick the last time. He had been too high to take care of her, but she had pushed past the flu and taken care of him.

“Yeah, I guess I mean…” he licked his lips and closed his eyes. “I can help with what she needs so let’s just see and and then can pick it up or something.”

“Come on.” Tommy led him to the guest room. Mick and Vanessa pulled up and Athena watched from the end of the hallway. “Go on in.” He opened the door and Nikki could see her laying on the bed, asleep.

As he looked at her, he noticed she looked fine, “Tommy man…” but Tommy had closed the door quickly and Nikki tried to pull it open. “Tommy!” he whispered. “This is not cool!”

“What’s going on…” (Y/n) sat up and rubbed her eyes. “Nikki?”

“Sorry,” Nikki sighed. “Tommy told Mick you fainted and I rushed over and I wanted to make sure you were ok… but you seem fine and now the door’s locked and…” he rambled on avoiding looking at her.

“You two are going to talk!” Tommy yelled from outside the door. “Oh, and this would be a good time to tell you (Y/n) that mom’s not sick!”

“You bastard!” (Y/n) yelled. “I haven’t slept in days! I dropped everything to rush out here! I’m going to kill you!” She screamed at her brother. She took a deep breath and looked over at Nikki. “So...how’s your girlfriend?” She asked. He had seen the tabloids posting pictures of him and Ashley from their one date. He hadn’t called her since.

“I… I don’t have a girlfriend…” Nikki slid down the wall and sighed. “I’m going to kill Tommy, I’m sure your boyfriend will kill him too.”

“I don’t have a boyfriend,” She sighed. “My bands think I’m an old hag.”

Nikki chuckled, “You are far from an old hag… I think that’s Mick’s title.” he looked at her and licked his lips. “You look good (Y/n), considering the hell Tommy and Athena put you through to get you here.”

“I got like twenty minutes of sleep just now. I think I’m good.” She laughed a little. “You look really good.”

“I’m ok,” he shrugged from his spot on the floor. “So those little fuckers you’re producing any good? I don’t think I like that they call you an old hag… I can show up in New York and kick their asses for you?”

“They’re not bad. Tom’s good obviously. The little shitheads all think they can be the next Motley Crue and don’t like it when I tell them there will never be another one like you guys.” She sighed. “What about instead of you coming out there and kick their asses, I just come back to California and stay?”

“If you want… I mean… I…” Nikki sighed. “For what it’s worth… I know I caused you a lot of pain (Y/n)... and I want you to know that I was in a bad place before I met you… I just couldn’t handle it when I was away from you and… I know I hurt you… I should have been better…” he looked over at the door leading to the patio and cleared his throat as he got up. “Tommy really is an idiot.” he chuckled as he opened the door.

“Duh.” (Y/n) said, following him. “Nikki?” He stopped and turned to look at her. “I missed you a lot. And I’m glad that you got the help you needed.” She smiled softly at him.

“Hey! How did you two get out?!” Tommy yelled.

“Should we make a run for it?” (Y/n) laughed.

“Can I punch him first for scaring me?” Nikki breathed as he looked down at his shoes. “I missed you too,” he muttered before clearing his throat. “I should go… I… I got stuff I gotta do and…”

“O-oh…” (Y/n) said. Nikki saw it then. The hurt and pain in her eyes. It wasn’t all from him though. “I...I’ll see you later then…” She turned to head back into the house.

“Yeah,” Nikki sighed. “What?” he said looking at Tommy. “She doesn’t need me man. She needs someone better… so don’t give me that look and just… leave me alone ok?” Nikki sighed. “You said it yourself man… she’s special and me… I’m just some messed up recovering junkie.”

“Damn it Nik! Can’t you see how happy she was when you were just talking to her?!” Tommy yelled. “I haven’t seen her laugh in over a year Nikki! A year! That’s not the girl I call my sister!”

“WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO HUH!?” Nikki yelled.

“Go back to her!” Tommy yelled back. “Can’t you see that she loves you!?”

“I’m not good for her remember?” Nikki shook his head and ran his hand across his face. “I messed her up! All of the pain she went through everything she lost I caused that! She doesn’t need me.”

“Why are you two talking about me like I’m not here?!” (Y/n) yelled then. Nikki and Tommy slowly turned to look at her. “You do not make my choices for me! I do! Am I still miserable because of things that happened years ago? Yes! Do I hate being in New York? Yes! Do I need my brother and the man I love to decide what’s best for me? No!” She hauled off and hit Tommy right in the nads. “That’s for screwing with my relationship and telling me mom was sick!” She marched off then, leaving Tommy holding himself and Nikki standing there in shock.

“Bass player you heard it from her own mouth,” Mick drawled. “She still loves you so you better chase her before you lose her forever.”

Nikki bawled his fist, “you couldn’t leave well enough alone huh?” he punched Tommy in the jaw. “Next time just butt out!”

NIkki wanted to chase after her but he wouldn’t know where to find her. He needed to clear his head, needed to think. He went to the only place he knew he could find peace. He went towards the Hollywood sign. He drove up as far as he could go before walking the rest of the way. Things had changed and he only wanted to have her back. But that was a longshot.

He didn’t expect to see someone in the spot he normally went to though. But there was.

Nikki froze as he came to his spot by the Hollywood sign. There was someone else sitting there, legs pulled to their chest, watching the city below. It was (Y/n) and she looked so sad.

“Uh...hey…” Nikki said, standing there awkwardly.

“Hey.” She responded, smiling a little at him. “Kinda missing the warmth and sun. New York is cold and grey.”

“You could always come back.” Nikki said, sitting by her on the bench.

“Would there even be anyone waiting on me?” (Y/n) admitted. “I’m hung up on someone from my past. And I can’t seem to move on.”

“Bret?” Nikki asked, his heart hurting as he said it. (Y/n) shook her head.

“He’s a bassist. He’s got black hair and I really dig his green eyes.” She looked up at him.

“You know, I really miss this hot producer,” Nikki told her. “I wish I could show her how sorry I am for everything that happened.” He looked down at his hands to scared to face her. “I guess, the emptiness I felt from my childhood… even though I didn’t feel it with you… I should have realized you were enough.” he wasn’t sure what else to say.

“Nikki…I’m so sorry.” She reached out and touched him. “I still love you.”

“Not sure how you can still love me after all the bullshit I put you through… I had girls blowing me while I was talking to you… that was me being an asshole.” He pushed off the car. “I should go…” Nikki offered her a soft teary smile. “I missed you alot and I still miss you… I um… I don’t think there’s anything I can do to show you how sorry I am for how I acted.” Nikki licked his lips. “I should go…”

“Nikki, wait.” (Y/n) said, stopping him from going anywhere. “Let’s go get a burger. My treat.”

“Yeah, I could eat,” he said echoing the words she told him from their first meeting. “I uh, left my car down at the bottom of the hill. I’ll meet you there?”

“It’s a date.” She said, smiling at him. “You better be there.”

NIkki smirked, “don’t worry sweet girl… I’ll be there.” he began heading down to his car. He was glad he came up here. Maybe talking it out could get them to at least be friends again. Reaching his car he drove to their favorite burger place.

“Hey Nikki, twice in one day?”

“I’m meeting someone.” Nikki said nervously. Just a couple minutes later, (Y/n) came in. When her eyes fell on Nikki, he could see the light coming back into them.

“Just like old times.” She said with a smile as she sat across from him. “Your bandmates won’t be interrupting us, will they?” She laughed a little.

“Just like old times and god I hope not,” NIkki sighed.

“I’ll just have a coke.” (Y/n) told the waitress with a smile. Suddenly, it was 1982 again and Nikki couldn’t stop watching her.

“I’ll have a water,” he smiled and looked at his hands nervously. “So… New York looks exciting… I… um… how do you like working for MCA?” he breathed.

“It’s awful.” She sighed. “MCA LA wasn’t too bad. But New York. Everyone wears grey, they always have somewhere to be even if they don’t have to go anywhere. I think three people were killed outside my building right before I left.” She closed her eyes. “I know LA isn’t much better, but I just feel so alone out there.”

“That sucks,” Nikki looked down at the table. “I’m sorry (Y/n) for everything.” he took a hard swallow. “Um… I remember some things from when I was….” a tear hit the table top. “I um… I should have been there for you and gotten better sooner… I um I remember the night you told me about…”

“I’m so sorry.” (Y/n) whispered, starting to cry. “I didn’t even know, and the next thing I know…” She covered her face. “I’m so sorry.”

Nikki rushed to her side and held her in his arms, “Shhhhh,” he whispered. “You have nothing to be sorry for (Y/n). It’s all my fault. I was weak and I let certain ideas get in my head… I… I’m just lucky that you don’t hate me.” he whispered.

“I never hated you. Not once.” (Y/n) whispered. “I almost came back that next day, but the girls convinced me to take some time to cool off. But you never came after me, so I figured that I should just keep going.” She wiped her eyes. “I thought you were happy I was gone.”

“I figured, I was the last person you wanted to see,” he whispered. “I smashed just about everything in that house and then I just got high again to hide my pain.”

“I’m sorry.” (Y/n) whispered. “I was dealing with my own addiction. It was making me paranoid. Vanessa’s ex still apologized to me to this day about the mix up.”

“I punched him when I saw him one time…”

“I punched a punk ass drummer a month or so ago, spewing shit about my favorite band and all that,” (Y/n) told him. “It straightened him up.”

“You do have a mean right hook,” Nikki sniffled and gently pushed away from her. He made a move to go back to his side of the booth.

“You don’t have to go back over there.” She said softly. “It’s kinda nice having you close again.”

“Only if you’re ok with it, (Y/n).” he licked his lips, “so burgers?” he said as the waitress came by.

“I could always go for a bacon cheeseburger.” She smiled at him.

“Make it two,” Nikki laughed as he gave the menus to the waitress.

The rest of the afternoon was spent with Nikki and Y/N telling stories. Nikki about some of Tommy’s antics. And Y/N about some of her travels with her bands. By the end of their meal, Nikki reached for his wallet and paid before (Y/n) could take out her wallet.

“I should get back home,” he sighed. “It was really good seeing you (Y/n).” he hesitated to hold her in his arms, but instead held out his hand.

“It was good seeing you Nikki.” She reached out and touched his hand and there a spark between them. She bit her lip. “I guess I’ll see you when I go to Seattle in a few weeks…” She went to turn and walk away.

“(Y/n)?” Nikki called out.

“Yeah?” She looked back at him.

“When do you head back to New York?” he looked down at the floor.

“Couple days. I told them I’d find out what was wrong with my mom and try to come back. But I guess there’s nothing wrong.” She sighed.

“Maybe we can go on a date before you go....” he rubbed the back of his head. “I mean a nice date…”

“I’d like that Nikki Sixx.” She took a pen and wrote her cell phone and Athena’s home number in on his palm.

“Huh,” he smiled. “History repeats,” he muttered and licked his lips.

“Maybe this time we can make it better.” She offered him a smile.

Feeling brave he raised his hand and caressed her cheek before leaning in and kissing her cheek, “I’ll call you later… sweet girl.” he whispered before walking towards his car.

“You better silly boy!” She called to him before going to her own car.

Reaching his car, Nikki pulled out his phone and dialed Mick’s number, “Mick?”

“Yeah? What is it?” Mick asked.

"I need help…" he sighed.

Each month the Communications Team spotlights a few boards on Fan Forum, and this month we are featuring the Twilight Saga Board! The Twilight Saga board opened on January 31st, 2008 and had had moments when they thought they might even close. But through dedication from twi-hards (hardcore Twilight fans), the board has been thriving for 11 years. ~AnastasiaGrey~ (Tiana) and x♥xBeautiful_Butterflyx♥x (Christina) are the current moderators of the board and continue keep up to date with news and events of the stars of the series. The initial interest in Twilight began with the book series by Stephenie Meyer, the first of which was Twilight, released in 2005. Followed by New Moon in 2006, Eclipse in 2007 and the final chapter, Breaking Dawn in 2008. The first film of the franchise, Twilight, was released in 2008 and each year following, the next book was released in film format, while the final book was turned into two films instead of one. [New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1, Breaking Dawn Part 2] It became a whirlwind of a phenomenon, skyrocketing its leading stars into popularity, seemingly overnight. The titular characters of the series, Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson and Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner, could not escape notice in public for something as simple as going to dinner. The story revolves around human, Isabella Marie Swan as she moves back to Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie Swan, so her mother, Renée, can travel with her minor league baseball player husband. She makes new friends at the local high school in Jessica Stanley, played by Anna Kendrick, Mike Newton, played by Michael Welch, Angela Webber, played by Christian Serratos, and Eric, played by Justin Chon. But her attention is drawn to the 'adopted' children of Dr. Carlisle and Esme Cullen, played by Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser. The Cullen coven, as they are referred to, are vampires and consists of Emmett, played by Kellan Lutz, Rosalie, played by Nikki Reed, Alice, played by Ashley Green, Jasper, played by Jackson Rathbone, and Edward, who tries to stay away from Bella. The iconic line in the film, "You're like a drug to me, my own personal brand of heroin," refers to the scent of Bella's blood and how he is drawn to it. In the first Twilight film, Edward and Bella cultivate a relationship while Bella discovers not only that Edward and his family are vampires, but that other vampires traverse the area and cause problems, putting Bella's life in peril. New Moon begins with what seemingly looks like a simple birthday party for Bella but Edward cannot handle how his brother, Jasper almost attacks Bella when blood is drawn due to a paper cut. Feeling guilt over her safety, the Cullen's leave Forks and Bella spirals into a depression for months. Sending e-mails to Alice to an address that is no longer used. During this period her father finally convinces her to see her old friends or she will go back to her mother. Bella discovers that she sees an apparition of Edward when she puts herself in peril, and engages in various risky activities just to see him. From taking a ride on a motorcycle with a stranger to cliff diving and almost killing herself. Jacob, reveals his romantic feelings for Bella, but she is in love with Edward, and does not want to pursue anything more than friendship with him. Lurking in the shadows is Victoria. She and her mate James met the Cullens in the first film and James began to track Bella, threatening her life. So Edward and his family killed him. In New Moon, Victoria wants revenge for James death and seeks to harm Bella. Taking Edward's mate as he took hers. When Edward believes, due to a cheap shot comment from Jacob, that Bella has died, he wants to end his life, as living in a world where she doesn't exist is too painful. By the end of the second film, Bella has saved Edward from punishment from the Volturi, the elite group of vampires who govern their laws. Eclipse, the third film of the franchise, brings Victoria back as she has plans to end Bella and Edward for her revenge. But they are able to battle her and her army of new born vampires, while also under the protection of Jacob and his pack, who Bella discovers in New Moon are werewolves. By the end of the third film, the Volturi are once again placated and Jacob is furious because Bella has agreed to marry Edward. The final two films bring about the wedding and honeymoon and Bella's choice to be turned into a vampire. But things go awry when Bella becomes pregnant on her honeymoon and has to lie to her father about not being home as the pregnancy is fast and takes its toll on her body. At the end of part one, Bella has given birth but dies do to the strain and as Edward injects his venom to save her, we are left in anticipation for the final film when it ends with Bella's eyes opening to the vampire red. At the end of it all, Bella, Edward, Jacob, the rest of the Cullens, a legion of their vampire friends and the wolf pack, gather to fight the Volturi when they are led to believe by misinformation that Edward and Bella created an immortal child. Their daughter captivates Jacob and he 'imprints' on her. Meaning for the rest of his life, he will do anything to protect her. In the end, they are proven true in their declarations as Alice, who has the gift of foresight, is able to show the head of the Volturi, Aro, that Renésmee, played by Mackenzie Foy and is Edward and Bella's daughter, is not a threat to them or their secrets. The Twilight Saga is a phenomenon that is still cultivating new followers of both the books and films and the board on Fan Forum shows that with new posters and their incredible post count of over 1,188,540! I can’t believe Miley Cyrus, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Selena Gomez, Emma Roberts, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Victoria Justice, Sophie Turner, Ariana Grande, Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence, Freddie Highmore, Joe Jonas, Miranda Cosgrove, Anna Sophia Robb, Debbie Ryan, Jaimie Lynn Spears, and Dakota Fanning are all around the same age as me! I can’t believe we’re already in our mid twenties to early thirties! It feels like our childhoods were not that long ago, even though they were over ten years ago! It still feels like I didn’t watch Hannah Montana, The Amanda Show, Sonny with a Chance, The Wizards of Waverley Place, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, Because of Winn Dixie, Hairspray (2007), The Bridge to Terabethia, The Suite Life of Zac and Cody, Jessie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Glee, the High School Musical films, Victorious, Unfabulous, Sharkboy and LavaGirl, The Lizzie McGuire series, The Phantom of the Opera, The Twilight Saga, and the Harry Potter movies on TV and in movie theaters when I was a kid growing up with these guys that long ago! I still remember singing You Belong With Me, Teardrops on My Guitar, Love Story, Picture to Burn, Boyfriend, Our Song, Baby, Never Say Never, One Less Lonely Girl, and buying my friend in high school a Justin Bieber album for her birthday because she was obsessed with him back in 2012! I remember being a stupid kid in middle school and high school who thought she was so smart because she managed to read all four of the trashy Twilight novels by Stephanie Meyer in less than a year!!! I remember how fucking stupid I was as a kid for idolizing Edward Cullen’s and Bella Swan’s romance!!! I’ve matured so much since then, we all have, but it still feels like our childhoods/teenage years weren’t that long ago! We’re still relatively young adults! A lot of people older who are over thirty five, would still call us kids, but it feels like we’ve grown/are growing up so damn fast!!! It still feels like we should be babies!!! I think a great thing about those of us in our generation though is just how young most of us still look in our twenties to early thirties for our age!!! Like, I still look the same as I did seven years ago when I was sixteen at nearly twenty-four! Selena Gomez, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice,Taylor Swift, Kristen Stewart, Justin Bieber, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Emma Watson, Emmy Rossum, and Freddie Highmore still mostly look the same as they did over ten years ago! We’re the generation that seems to age well and/or barely age at all, so long as we take care of ourselves! We’re the age of vampires!! Top 3 Ships:

1). Rumbelle (Rumplestiltskin x Belle) from ABC’s Once Upon A Time, but with conditions. I love how much they love each other, and would do anything for each other when they are both in-character. I’m also a sucker for the whole “love redeems” and BATB tropes in fiction, but they also tend to be the ones that the writers love to fuck up deliberately for shits ad giggles at some point on TV shows when they get bored or lazy. That’s why I only accept their individual characters or relationship together when they are both written in-character, so mostly from S1-3A of canon OUAT and in various canon-divergent/AU scenarios thereafter. However, I feel like the same thing can be said about every other remaining main character/ ship in canon OUAT post 3A. There was a serious nosedive in characterization, consistency, and storytelling integrity after Neal got killed off in canon OUAT, and while there were moments where Rumple, Belle, Emma, and everyone else seemed to be like the characters and relationships I originally fell in love with in canon from 3B-S7, I still feel like the show truly ended most organically and satisfyingly with “Going Home” (3x11), and there were serious problems with the writing starting to show with plot versus character driven writing, rape culture, abuse apology, broken rules of magic, plotholes, and character favoritism, even before 3B in S2. But after Neal got killed off, Hook became the main lead, and they started resurrecting the dead with magic when it suited the plot, they clearly didn’t know what the fuck they were doing anymore, and weren’t trying to tell any sort of story at all by undoing everyone’s original characterizations for plot back-and-forth.Everyone was ruined by illogically ooc, inconsistent, and toxic character destroying plot driven inexcusably bad writing that made absolutely no sense, which made them all unsympathetic and unrecognizable from 3B-S7 at one point or another, including Emma, Belle, the Charmings, and Henry, the “good guys,” so I try to pretend it never happened, and quit watching regularly after S5 to preserve my sanity.

2). Jane Eyre x Mr. Edward-Fairfax Rochester from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte-Again, I’m a sucker for the whole “love redeems” trope in fiction, and I appreciate how Edward is portrayed as the “dark” one, while Jane is the “virtuous” one, but neither one of them are without their flaws that go unaddressed, which is a big problem with a lot of “love redeems” couples. Their conflicts become hypocritically one-sided.

3). Anne Shirley x Gilbert Blythe from the Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery-These two started out as frenemies, then became best friends in childhood and adolescence, and then eventually got married. The perfect love story!

Ashley is kind and naive to a fault, she generally sees the world in a positive light despite all what’s happened to herself in her lifetime.

Though she has no problems talking to food souls, if she has to interact with a human she freezes up and hides behind one of her food souls, letting them talk instead. She has social anxiety that only ever crops up when dealing with human strangers outside of her restaurant.

Yuxiang became her mother figure, and the double scoop brothers Vanilla and Strawberry became her siblings as she grew up.

She preferred to stick to herself and the duo when she went to kindergarten, the other kids often asked rude questions or teased her for bringing Vanilla and Strawberry to school with her, and Yuxiang ended up homeschooling her after that.

When she turned sixteen, she decided she would become a Master attendant and open up a restaurant like her mother’s, thus coming to what we see now.

oh wOW alright so i’m gonna be basic for a second and tell y’all that i fucking love angst. i mean, fluff’s great and all, but my heart truly lies with the gritty, toxic, dysfunctional, and fucked up. i’m also a huge fan of anything having to do with crime so if you ever wanna do any crime plots come my way !!! it’s also no secret that i’m a very big fan of age gaps ( obvs not with minors because GROSS ). but seriously, give me everything. friends or exes or enemies to lovers, two toxic people that know they should walk away from each other but can’t live without the other, criminals on the run, any kind of criminal or bad influence with pure characters that have hearts made of gold, characters that go through something horrible together and become each other’s lifeline because they’re the only ones that understand, secret and / or taboo relationships, slowburn and unrequited love, exes that reconnect under literally any kind of circumstances, etc. i’ll link some good examples of my favorite plots so you can get a feel for what i’m describing !!!

i’m also always down for plots away from the romantic side of things. i LOVE giving my characters ride or dies, enemies, exes, family, or anything else you can think of. the more unique the connection the better !! legit one of the best relationships i ever played out in an rp was between carcosa and another girl. totally platonic, but it was such a rich and fucked up dynamic that was full of toxicity and power struggles and manipulation and backstabbing, but also drunken benders and risky adventures and late night confessions, and those were easily some of the funnest threads and plotting sessions i’ve ever had. so please, like i said, give me all of the connections.

tbh i hope to get a lot of things out of this group. i’m hoping to find a safe space to let my creativity run wild and a home for my muses where they can constantly grow and develop through interactions with other characters, in-depth plots, and my own exploration the more i write with them. i’m also hoping this will be a good opportunity to make friends, since i’m very much a loner and some of the best people i’ve met have been through the world of roleplaying. i definitely want to push my muses and challenge myself to be a better writer here, and i hope to help out those of you that are seeking the same things in your journey !! i’m already planning on adding some more muses in the very near future ( because i have ZERO impulse control ), and as far as future plans for plots go i want EVERYTHING. romantic, enemies, exes, familial, platonic, and literally anything in between. i would definitely love some slowburn ships where our characters don’t just fall in love overnight. i’d also be so down for exploring the dynamics of age gap relationships. not just the taboo aspect of them but like the differences in generations, the potential repercussions, the ups and downs and the times where they’re not sure if they can make it work.

i mean who hasn’t felt like saying fuck it to the rpc ??? i’ve been rping for several years, about six of those years have been on tumblr and as much love as i can have for this community at times, most days it’s just fucking exhausting. i feel like it’s mostly become a very toxic, judgmental, and honestly shallow place. i hate the expectation groups put on members these days with activity checks and whatnot because honestly who even has the time to write every single day ????? or y’know sometimes we just don’t feel like it ?????? i know for me personally between my mental health and irl responsibilities i just don’t have the time or energy to be on every two days. and plus a lot of them are cliquey af or die in a week or are riddled with petty drama so i tend to avoid them altogether. i joined the indie community in hopes of rping on my terms and while i def feel like that was a step in the right direction, it’s still a very exclusive community at times and i’ve had difficulty fitting in. there’s still a lot of ugliness towards female ocs or muns that exclusively play females and tbh i’m over it ??? i decided to give this group a try because i love the idea of the indie format but in a group, making it easier to plot with people and put yourself out there. tl;dr i decided to say fuck it because the community’s gone downhill and i needed a change.
