Congratulations to Sonic! His tboy swag is simply undeniable. Throughout the bracket he beat Jotatro Kujo (74.3%), James T. Kirk (71.4%), The Scout (53%), Saiki Kusuo (64.9%), Link (51.1%), and finally Miles Morales (54.4%) to claim victory.

Two months and 69 polls later, Shiv Roy has been determined unequivocally as the most fuckable character on HBO’s Succession by an insane margin of only two votes out of 5,518.

In an unfathomably close second is Gerri Kellman, followed by our only male winner Stewy Hosseini in third, and ending with Karolina Novotney in fourth place.

Thanks again to everyone who voted and shared and tagged and sent asks; we’ve answered a very important question today.

I made some slight changes to the color scheme but for the most part it looks pretty much canon. I just didn't want to use too bright of a green for the skin. Lastly I used a lot more markers as opposed to colored pencils and it turned out a lot better than I expected!

There was never really much doubt that either Born to Run or Thunder Road would be our winner, was there?

This whole bracket was a lot of fun - and a lot of work - to run for you all, and I'm kinda sad to see it come to an end. I have some ideas for some other Bruce themed polls to entertain us in the future. If you have ideas for some, feel free to hit up the ask box.

THE FINAL RESULTS ARE IN!

Congratulations to Gimli for winning the title of Finest Facial Hair in Fictional Media!

In second place is Senshi! Although he held his own in the epic dwarf vs dwarf battle, he couldn’t quite pull ahead to snatch the lead in the end.

In third place is Davy Jones! This competitor caused some heated debates, however that didn’t stop his 2000s CGI tendrils from narrowly beating the mustachioed dog pokémon Stoutland.

An imaginary tiger took a very real victory as Hobbes overcame Nano, who fell at the very last hurdle. An impressive fear in any case, inspiring her way all the way to the final.

In the Bronze final, Kronk denied Marie Kondo a place on the podium, which is by far the best result an ordinary person has ever achieved in this tournament.

Sandman March Mania: Winner Announcement

This is it, everyone! Since March 25th, you voted every day. Four rounds, 24 amazingly talented artists who qualified, and each time one of them had to go, it hurt a little.

But we didn’t do this because we truly see these artists in competition with each other. Our goal was to get to know them better, share what moves us about their art, also have fun with the… weird depictions and generally just acknowledge:

The Sandman wouldn’t exist without them.

They all gave us unique and wonderful interpretations of Dream (and not just Dream) and we’re so grateful for all of them. So without further ado, here are your winners (are you surprised?):

That’s us. We want to thank all of you who joined us over the past four weeks, because that’s also what this event was about: Something everyone can participate in. You didn’t have to write fanfic, you didn’t need to support a ship, you didn’t need to create art. You could just bond with other people over your favourite thing if you wanted to. Or simply vote.

And although we normally wouldn’t do so, we decided (after some agonising) to be annoying and tag @neil-gaiman in this to share what a small corner of fandom came together for over four weeks: To engage in, and bond over, art appreciation. We thought you might like it or think it was a silly thing to have a bracket match, or maybe both at once. But either way—we loved hosting it and joining in!

I was praying and begging upon my knees like a little peasant boy for Sleeping In The Flowers to win I was DESPERATE…. I really didn’t expect End Of The Tour to make it into the finals (I honestly thought it would be Sleeping In The Flowers vs. Subliminal) but I’m still happy with this result. To be honest, I like every song on John Henry so it would be a win in any case

The next album we’re polling is Factory Showroom!!! I’ve been listening to it for the last week straight I cannot get this album out of my head if I listen to it one more time I’ll start hearing James K. Polk in my dreams

The Winner of the Ninjago Au Tournament is Storm Vessel Jay!!

Honestly kinda surprised by this since he is my newest au, but then again people and been really into the au so I guess it makes sense. Anyway, if you wanna see the final bracket it looks like this:

This was a lot of fun and also quite the wild ride for me. So many matches did not end how I thought they would, and again, I'm still pretty shocked that Storm Vessel swept as much as he did. It's gonna be a while until I do the next tournament, but that one is going to be the Oc Tournament part 2.

I really dig that we mostly agree as a fandom that if Hawk & Tim.had kids of their very own, it would be fraternal twins or a daughter. 🥺❤
