Help Wanted:

Lost a fic!! It was a Supernatural crossover (I can't remember with what, just that it was one fandom and not multiple), minimalist, under 10.000 words (most likely less than 5.000). Name was a Lord Huron quote, I did comment on the fic but I cannot find it. Probably Gen or T, maybe Not Rated.

Plot: (SPOILERS) Dean and 1?? (other fandom character) are fishing peacefully (I think, at least they're by a river) waiting for Sam and 2?? (other fandom character's respective sibling equivalent) to show up. The two bond. Story pans out and Sam and 2?? are on the other side of the river. Dean and 1?? are dead, and Sam and 2?? talk about how they'll get along. (Something to that effect.)

Was sad. Was good. I cannot find it. It has been stuck in my head for the last few hours, even though I haven't read it in months. If you find any fic with SPN and one other fandom where I am FULL CAPS SCREAMING LORD HURON LYRICS than that is probably the fic. I have been searching for at least an hour. I don't know if it was taken off the site (Ao3). (I would be sad if this were the case, but I would appreciate at least knowing)

for beings that hardly ever really touch each other, though it has been getting more frequent, who are known for their longing gazes and soft, brief touches. Yet here they are hanging on for dear life, desperate to get every inch closer to each other.

and the slight hesitance from Aziraphale makes it so much more powerful, the surprise and also knowing this shouldn’t be happening but he can’t help clutch on to Crowley, finally, while it last.

But there’s someone who else who has gone venin and it’s either Garrick or Bodhi. Garrick is missing but he could be chasing down Xaden. Bodhi hasn’t been mentioned but suddenly Violet is now the dowager Duchess of Tyrrendor.

It has to be someone significant enough for Xaden to be surprised.

Did Xaden force Sgaeyl to cut off their bond also?? Bc Tairn is asleep but fine so it’s not like Sgaeyl could’ve gone with Xaden.

And what did Imogen do that Violet asked for???

Andarna has to have rebonded with Violet and obvi everyone knows Xaden is venin, so they’re ready to kill her to get to him.

This better mean we get a random sweet moment where Xaden proposes, they get married, have their last night together where Violet bangs venin!Xaden (because we all know that scene is in the back of everyone’s thoughts), and then for… Xaden’s safety? Or maybe he has a mission that Violet doesn’t want to jeopardise?? Idk. She requests her mind erased.

And so whatever tf the next book involves is Violet trying to recover her memories of the events that passed.

I also see what yall meant about Dain and Sloane. Another wing leader falls for a first year. There was something incredibly funny about Dain trying to “pick up” a second year healer in the local town while he was exhausted and pissed off.
