Matt thinks Foggy died because he was avoiding telling Matt things in order to avoid tempting Matt into being Daredevil! That was the last thing Foggy ever said to him! Matt reshaped himself to live the life he thought Foggy wanted him to live, he got a Normal Girlfriend and a Normal Lawyer Job and he abandoned Daredevil because he thought that was Foggy’s last wish! He abandoned himself and built a hollow shell of a life that brings him no real joy or fulfillment and fractures his moral foundation because he thought that’s what Foggy wanted but Foggy never would have wanted that for him! Foggy wanted him to be himself! Foggy wanted him to be happy not a simulacrum of what happy looks like for other people! I am going to scream!

post-convention high is also tough because... well, it's been so much fun, so much going on, our friends are here, there's things to do and people to talk to and cool things to see. and then you pack up, clean up, run to catch a train, go back home. and back to the mind-numbing routine of daily life it is.

even aside from taking care of your physical health and taking time (if possible) to wind down a little and check that no one hates you and event went well... at this point, i expect and plan for a day or two of feeling down as fuck. haven't yet found a method for avoiding that, aside from keeping busy...

googling shit like "why do i feel bad after hanging out with my friends" and all of the answers are either "you need better friends" (i don't; my friends are wonderful) or "your social battery is drained, you need to rest and regain your energy levels" (i don't; i've got tons of energy, it's just manifesting as over-the-top neurotic mania). why is this even happening. it's like some stupid toll i have to pay as a punishment for enjoying myself too much
