One of the funniest parts about the whole “Leo not giving Draxum any grace” idea is that Draxum is one of the ONLY notable older men in the show that Leo isn’t willing to give a proper second chance to OR really hear out in the first place.

Leo notably does his best to do good in Tim’s eyes #apologizing earnestly to Tim even when it’s not his fault even #and this is another older man Leo refers to as a surrogate father #Leo also quickly falls for the evil hair Yokai Masseur’s lies despite the bad vibes he got #Leo also was the main one who went easy on Bullhop #and let’s not forget Señor Hueso and Leo’s strong attachment to him despite Hueso’s consistent insults and annoyance #like even WARREN gets Leo’s sympathy and assistance when they all helped him get Hypno back #you can even argue that Leo WAS willing to hear Draxum out when they first met #and Leo assumed Draxum was surrendering before the whole ‘BARON DRAXUM DOES NOT SURRENDER’ thing #hell he’s not even antagonistic really to Draxum he just doesn’t really like him #he’ll listen to his advice if necessary #anyway this being a fairly consistent character trait of Leo’s is funny to me #it’s always specifically older men too - Big Mama does NOT get anything but immediate suspicion #not all of them but most of the ones Leo has specific interactions with are like this #I’m just saying!!! he who curls himself up so tight, rests a head on your leg when he wants a shred of your attention and is too embarrassed to say a word of it, too nervous to percieve and ask. who lets out the softest rumble from the pit of his chest when you bury a hand in his hair and ever so gently scratch his scalp.

he who readjusts himself, to be half over you, softly kneading at whatever skin his claws and pawpads can get ahold of. from slow blinking to barely ever opening his eyes - he's so tired, and you know it. he lets out little sound and has little twitches in his sleep, you can relax him so easily by reaching a hand and gently stroking him. just like mama.

you can't forget about the little sound he makes when it's time to wake up, obviously he mrrps. looking at you with the biggest glowing blue eyes known to man. he loves you enough.

✨ pokémon AU! 🔴✨ clora is mainly fairy & psychic (bc shes sweet but also smart) whereas seb trends towards fire/dark (even tho i only ended up giving him 1 dark pokemon...shhh) i originally gave him a houndour, bc dark + guard dog was such a perfect combo for him, but arcanine ALSO suits him and is way cuter so i had to go with that 🥹 and i had to fit in a raven and a snake pokemon somewhere bc...cmon🥰 BAHAHA

the way a romanced astarion unpacks everything when you get the good ending for his personal quest is lowkey funny tho

like. he basically sums up the entire point of his journey and confirms explicitly that you did, in fact, make the exact right choices to help him grow????

the writers really drive home this idea of just "that's it! you did it! you uncovered the secret to making him a good person, and it turns out the only requirements were to give a shit about him and believe he's capable of doing the right thing!! literally just those two things and nothing else!!"
