1 Loop = 1 Day Update

I HAVE BEATEN IT!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

This took so long, it took 24 days to beat In Stars and Time.

And I normally did my loops later in the day, but I did the final look earlier in the day for a stream (I'll post it after I post the 1 loop = 1 day challenge run video) and like-

It hits the time I normally do my loop, I go to pull up stars and time, and have to stop myself- NOOOO (I'm making a counter for it) (I am currently at 2)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GALACTA KNIGHT!!!! And congratulations to Meta Knight for experiencing the Cain Instinct for the first time.

Galacta Knight, as you might've been able to tell already, is one of my favorite characters, and KSSU is one of my favorite games (the original SS was my introduction to Kirby!) so I wanted to go all out. Happy day, old man. I pray for at least 20 more years.

Oh, and don't worry! He's not upset about the cake smash, he thinks it's funny. And he got back at him.

As for the in-universe explanation for there being 16 candles in his cake?

... 500+ didn't fit in safely.

I’m so incredibly obsessed with Soul Beast Mind.

After Souls transformation and Hearts sudden absence, Mind is forced to take on everything by himself. The man once so confident he could run the ship one handed is stretched thin and forced to face that he’s not enough.

There’s no one around to impress, and yet he still takes great care in his appearance, taking time to do his hair and makeup before leaving his room. He dresses far more formally than usual, buttoning up his shirt and tying his shoes with a blank stare and a worn creaky prosthetic.

His boots click down the empty hallway far too early in the morning, preparing three meals three times a day for people who will never eat them. He sets the table and eats alone, staring at the food on plates he knows won’t be touched. He meticulously puts away leftovers, dating and portioning everything in little plastic containers. The fridge is full of food, throwing away perfectly good meals to make room for more.

When Soul comes home he’ll surely be hungry, thankful for his favorites after such a long time away, and there’s always a chance Heart will sneak out of his room in the middle of the night to eat. He knows Soul isn’t coming home and that Hearts been starving himself, but he can’t bring himself to stop. Just in case.

He occasionally knocks on Hearts door, asking simple questions in an attempt to check up on him.

“Dinners ready, it’s your favorite.”

“Can I come in? I need to check on your wing.”

He never gets a response.

He spends all of his time taking care of Whole, constantly keeping him stable and alive. His room has accumulated copious amounts of dust, his prized electric guitar going unpolished for weeks when just two months ago he treated it like his baby. There’s no time for hobbies or leisurely activities, ignoring his books to stare blankly at a screen and survey Wholes every waking moment for every day of his life.

He’s tired. He wants his headmates back.

the reason I mentioned isat ss discord was simply bc guys were the first people who saw me trying to draw close to pixel sprite face sprite for Loop to,,, do something at some point just to see how it works

and nope I'm not making this into anything, but I really like the fact that I managed to do this

In Stars and Time 1 Loop=1 Day Challenge run update!

I forgot to update huh! Its been 17 days! And if I remember correctly I should be doing my last loop for act 3 today! :D

During this time, I was a bit sad at some point because there was one loop I forgot to grab stuff, and had to do it the next day! It was the WORST! Each Loop I have to actively think about what I need to do, and actively try and grab everything I can-

The day I had to go to the observatory, I had been putting it off until I absolutely HAD to, because I didn't want to have to miss anything.

It's been a Time-

And we are about to get to Act 4. All we have to do is talk to the King one last time...

There was this one art a little while ago about the family stuck in a situation where they're forced to play ISAT in some post game scenerio. I keep having many thoughts, but here's some about them figuring out who Loop is:

1) They all BAFFLED by how Loop usually talks. They all thought Loop was this shy little star person. Immediately, they get hit with "have you tried not dying~~~~" into "I think you deserve help" and do not know what to think.

2) Odile is in charge of the controller. Mainly bc no one else wants to control Siffrin and they all have equal amount of video game experience aka none, so Odile is being practical about it. This has the side effect that Odile gets to be all investigative. Odile makes it her MISSION to find stuff out about Loop.

3) Siffrin has complicated feelings about them finding out about Loop??? Like okay they HATE their family has to see all this, ESPECIALLY THAT THEY CAN SEE HIS THOUGHTS!!!! But. Loop. Siffrin hasn't told his family the truth. It's not his story to tell. But. If they figure it out...? In a way that proves Loop wrong, right? That they can recognize them. Maybe it takes a bit because Loop looks different is and actively trying to be different from Siffrin. But. Maybe...? Either way they encourage Odile to talk to Loop. If this is a simulation... if this is real in some way even... yeah he wants to talk to Loop.

Anyway here's a list on how they find out one by one:

Odile: She catches the little stuff. She notes the royal We, the fact that Loop alludes to having an old body by accident, the casual familiarity in some places. All of that. She is also the first to note their eyes being different shades. However, Odile doesn't make the connection 100%, not until Isabeau. Well.

Isabeau: He gets some of the weird stuff Loop says but not as many as Odile. HE finds Loops side comments weirder. He sees Loop's reactions and they're a bit. Uncanny.... and then he has another realization, Loop and Siffrin have the same eyes. When Isabeau notes this, it all clicks for Odile.

Mirabelle: Okay, so. You cannot tell me that Mirabelle has not read fantasy stories with weird guide characters. She has to have!!!! So at first, she's not even looking for who Loop is. And tbh? She has the best read on Loop's personality otherwise. Sassy, but clearly caring. A bit of a shit, but serious when needed. And mainly, she appreciates Loop Being There when the rest of them couldn't. That being said, the moment where the "have you wondered who I am" happens. And suddenly Mirabelle Is Thinking Of the Possibilties. And then the ME option pops up!!!! Odile was already about to pick it but Mirabelle YELLS to pick that one!!!!! Uh. Shortly after that they all have a conversation about how yeah, Loop is VERY likely Siffrin. Mirabelle justifies herself with tropes. Of course!!! Of course they're Siffrin!!! If they're anyone they have to be Siffrin. Siffrin got transformed and became the guide they needed!!!! It Just Makes Sense.

Bonnie: ....Tbh doesn't really figure it out on their own? But also. Loop. Feels like Frin. Not exactly like Frin. But they're Frin enough to be trusted so who cares. It takes awhile for them to really get it too because... it's weird. Also they're the one to really ask why there would be two Frins??? Duh??? And why would Frin become Loop???

Anyway, basically, after picking "Me?" They pretty much are all on the same page. They got that it was wishcraft. They got Loop is Siffrin somehow. I think Odile might figure out that "hey, uh if Loop is the guide then what happens when Loop doesn't have a guide" and Mirabelle probably says "wait Siffrin didn't you say to me once that without Loop you wouldn't have made it?"

Meanwhile Siffrin is a mix of sad and very emotionally touched. Because. Yeah. Even when trying to actively hide, their family recognized them.

Notably, Siffrin gets them to twohats (Siffrin remembers that they understood Loop most after showing them the coin. So yes, the family does get to see Siffrin's "I will forget everything I love" moment. Goes as well as you expect. Lots of hugs and the reassurance that they will bug Siffrin until the end of their days so he can't forget him so HA!)

But yeah. Siffrin really wants to make sure they can get little simulation Siffrin to realize Loop is Siffrin as well. Because if there is any chance of this being real and that they're guiding a Siffrin in another reality, then they want to make sure they can get Loop to know just how much they did. How much they helped and changed Siffrin's fate for the better.

To note: I'd imagine in this scenario, Odile wouldn't go do any of the side stuff. At least not too much of it. There wouldn't be as much exploration either. Siffrin likely would be very underleveled as a result.

So perhaps in this scenario? Imagine if you will that while the Siffrin watching definitely defeated Loop, the simulation Siffrin loses.

And Siffrin finds out that... no. No! Of course Loop couldn't kill him. Of course they wouldn't. There is a catharsis to that realization.

(After they finish the game, either a) prologue playthrough time or b) they're freed and the group IMMEDIATELY try to figure out a way to find Loop bc uh??? Even if they weren't Siffrin, they want to find them. But like. Two Frins. Two Frins they know are different but who cares, no matter who Loop chooses to be, Loop Is Family Too).

Anyway, family plays isat featuring the Loop Saga.

new heights of special interest reached: when i lock in in my rhythm game, i am literally rotating siffrin isat in my head. yeah yeah flick note spam but i think the way they react to the others' reactions in the ghost event is v interesting and actually could be compared to loop's whole situation and how they are also watching the party react to Another Them, so their reaction... oh the song's over, full combo. it's that easy

wait okay one more thing. siffrin and loop figure out the whole wish thing like two months later. like they've just been periodically bringing up the mystery and getting upset and swearing they're never gonna talk about it again and then two days later siffrin is like what if it's not really over and i just delayed it somehow or loop is like what did i do wrong it's not fair, so then they discuss it again (in whispers / a bit away from the others), and discussing the loops stresses them out and not knowing the answer frustrates them and then since they're upset they upset each other more and by then they've gotten loud and everyone else has noticed and tells them to stop / helps them calm down, and then an hour later they apologize and swear they won't ever bring it up again.

until finally siffrin's like psst i think i figured it out and loop is like not this again. and siffrin's like yeah but listen i was looking at a leaf just now and i remembered that i wished to keep traveling with mirabelle? on her pilgrimage? and then after you know she said i should keep traveling with her. on her pilgrimage. and that's what we're doing right now.

and loop's like shooting stars and blinding suns it was THAT SIMPLE??? IT WAS JUST THAT THIS WHOLE TIME????? IM GOING TO KILL YOU FOR REAL THIS TIME and then odile storms over and drags them off of siffrin and they immediately go limp so odile says fine and lets go and loop just stays where they got dropped and stares up at the sky for three hours while everyone sets up camp around them until siffrin threatens to steal their job and help bonnie start the fire for dinner if loop doesn't get up and do it right now.
