It doesn’t matter to Logan that it’s this late. He puts on his running shoes while humming a vague tune of a song. The American turns off all the lights and steps out of his room. 

After he steps out, Logan shuts the door gently and turns around.

“Hi.” Oscar says, swooping his hair to one side. Oscar’s oversized black t-shirt complemented his long white pants. It was the most basic fit ever, it was also the most Oscar fit ever.

“I came to congratulate you!” Oscar smiles, taking a step closer to Logan. 

“On…?” Logan raises his eyebrow, regaining his balance and standing up straight to face Oscar.

“P11.” Oscar continues smiling.

“Uh… well,” Logan chuckles, “That’s still out of the points range…”

“But it’s a good improvement,” Oscar says, “I’m so happy for you!”

Oscar doesn’t let Logan finish processing the words before diving into a hug, wrapping his arms around Logan and tightly holding onto him.

Logan nods, “Yea, sure!”

The duo walk toward the lift. Oscar keeps close proximity with Logan, also occasionally bumping into Logan. Logan isn’t used to such shows of love, so the first few seconds of it are awkward.

When they enter the lift, Logan admits, “This is gonna be the first happy one in a while.”

Oscar’s face almost drops. A weird sense of guilt overcomes him, like he hasn’t done enough for Logan.

Logan tucks his hands into his pockets and sighs but smiles after that.

Oscar pats his shoulder, “Glad I could join then. Hope it isn’t your last happy walk.”

Logan chuckles and leans onto Oscar as the lift reaches the first floor.
