I've been working on a fic for @jupitercomet's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. It's my first Top Gun Maverick story, starring the one and only Jake 'Hangman' Seresin. I chose day 1: A Partridge In a Pear Tree-Secret Santa. Today was the day I was supposed to post it.

Last week, I had my idea finally (after changing it so many times), and I was working on it when I got super sick. No idea what it was, whether it was the flu or a really bad cold, it knocked me on my ass.

I didn't finish my story today, I thought I could. It will be finished and posted tomorrow afternoon/night.

I'm sorry the story is late Bugs, but I know if I keep writing, it won't be my best work and I'd like to impress with my first foray into the world of Top Gun Maverick.

okay, i'm back again because i had so much fun in october! but this time it's a bit different—as you can see, there are only 12 prompts and not 31 so you can have a bit more flexibility about when you want to post :)

no rules as such—you can write 1 or 2 or all 12 and post them any time in the month of december. once again, i'm posting this a month in advance so people have the time to plan + write

Portal 12 Days of Christmas Prompt List

What's this? Portal Christmas prompts? Sort of. Taking inspiration from the time of year, the celebrations, and the song itself, I'd like to present to you the Portal 12 Days of Christmas prompt list!

I did a lot of research to find prompts in four categories: prompts inspired by the song itself, prompts inspired by the various feasts and celebrations, prompts inspired by the more mundane aspects of the holiday, and of course Portal-specific prompts inspired by the first three in various ways.

While the actual 12 days of Christmas start at the end of the month, that time of year is far too busy for this sort of thing so I felt it would be better to post it earlier in the month to give people ample time to participate if they so choose.

Testing doesn't stop, even during the holidays, so let's bring some Aperture-themed cheer!

The rules are simple.

There's absolutely no obligation to participate every day. Some people are more busy than others this time of year, so participate at your own pace and comfort level. If you aren't inspired by a day's prompts or end up too busy to keep going, that's totally fine! It's all for fun.

Any medium you want to use is fine, whether physical or digital. Sketches, writing, felt work, renders, completed art… whatever sort of inspiration you might get!

i'm switching around day 8 (dec. 21) and day 9 (dec 22) so that the dec 21 fic is moved to dec 22 and dec 22 fic is moved up to dec 21. making this change because one prompt is significantly going to be longer than the other and will need time on that as well as the collab fic i have with ino !

I love your Oc Mercy so much, he's so funny and it's always a great joy to see something new about him. I also love your little comics so much. No matter if it's about Mercy or any other character. They are all so great and funny.

I can't even say which one I like the most because they are all so great. Like for example your comic with Mercy, Anakin and Ahsoka, were both asked Mercy for help. But also the one with Jocasta Nu where she said they were in the same youngling clan. Obi-Wan's expression made me snort so loud. Also all your comics with the Bad Batch. They're all so awesome and I love them so much.

I Had so much fun with this piece. But at last it's done and it was supposed to be the 12th picture to a 12 days of Christmas art collection I was doing but I never had enough time you know with the holiday hustle and all that.

A Snowball Fight!

Thank you @jokerislandgirl32 for this fun suggestion! Alessandra attempted to start a playful snowball fight with her Zachy only for him to take it as a challenge! As you can see, however, it is she who got more shots in!

I enjoyed working with the perspective on this drawing! And I finally got to design a winter outfit for Alessandra! Thanks for the suggestion and I hope to see more Christmas prompt suggestions for my 12 days of drawings on this post!

12 Days of Angstmas

Hello everyone! I’m back for a moment to post this list of angst prompts. I love writing angst, and y’all love reading it, so I decided a while back to make a list of 30 angst prompts. But since Kinktober was very stressful for many, I decided to narrow it down to 12 in the spirit of Christmas. I’m not sure yet if I’ll be participating, but feel free to use this list anyway! This can be for any fandom. Be mindful of using trigger warnings if you do use these prompts and post your work based on them, as some prompts can be emotionally provoking or triggering.
