Naruto: 10 Worst Things About Sasuke And Sakura's Relationship

By the time of Boruto, Sasuke and Sakura are a loving married couple, but their checkered history included some troubling low points.

Sakura harbors a crush on Sasuke before the two of them even graduate from the Academy and end up on the same team. He's always at the forefront of her thoughts and actions, and the two of them do end up getting married and starting a family of their own in the end. On paper, their romance seems relatively dreamlike.

However, that's not the full story of the ups and downs of their relationship. Sasuke initially doesn't care enough to give Sakura the time of day, and there are even multiple instances where he seems indifferent to her life being in danger — or actively endangers it himself. Sakura's unhealthy obsession with Sasuke also stunts her growth in other ways.

10. Even After Starting A Family, Sasuke Is A Largely Absent Father Who Can't Connect With His Daughter

There's a long period of time between the original series and Shippuden where Sasuke is absent after he turned his back on the Leaf to instead seek revenge. He eventually does come back and start a life with Sakura, but even then he's absent most of the time.

While this is due to being sent out on missions and he doesn't have much of a choice, he fails to properly connect with his daughter Sarada when he does get to spend time with her. He's so bad on this front that he actually ends up getting scolded by his old squad leader, Kakashi.

9. Sakura Ignores Naruto And Treats Him Like Garbage Because Of Her Initial Infatuation

It's one thing to have a crush on someone and to value their opinion more than anyone else's. It's another thing when this infatuation causes someone to treat others around them poorly, especially when their crush doesn't even want to give them the time of day.

In the beginning, Naruto continually makes efforts to connect with Sakura and get to know her better. She not only brushes him off but straight-up calls him annoying and tells him to get lost, simply because he's not the object of her romantic affection, instead of making any attempt to bond with her teammate.

8. Sakura Appears Blind To Much Of Sasuke's Suffering, Instead Focusing On Her Own Feelings

Sakura values Sasuke above everything else in her life, and this remains true even after he defects from the Leaf. Despite this, though, it oftentimes feels as if she doesn't consider his feelings and struggles and is instead remains much more focused on her own.

In the beginning, she doesn't consider his feelings regarding his murdered family when talking down on Naruto, saying he's so undisciplined because he doesn't have parental guidance. She's also quick to say she'll help Sasuke with his path of revenge when he goes to leave the village despite this being an incredibly destructive and harmful path.

7. Sakura Throws Away Her Best Friend For Sasuke When He Doesn't Care At All About Her

Back when Sakura was much younger, she completely lacked self-confidence and was a consistent target of bullying from other girls. It's Ino who stepped in, got the bullies to back off, and showed Sakura that she shouldn't hide her insecurities and instead have more confidence in herself.

Sakura then decides to throw away their friendship simply because she hears that Ino also has a crush on Sasuke. She says it's for the sake of them becoming rivals, but they both would've been much stronger if they worked together rather than letting a guy split them apart, especially a guy who doesn't care for either of them.

6. For A Long Time, Sasuke Shows No Interest In Her While Both Naruto And Rock Lee Do

Sakura stays completely devoted to Sasuke even though he betrays no romantic interest in her whatsoever. This might make sense if there were no one else who cared for Sakura and wanted her to be happy, but both Naruto and Rock Lee care immensely for her.

Lee goes as far as to risk his own life for Sakura's sake in the Forest of Death, and the two of them bond when Sakura goes to Lee's hospital room nearly every day to spend time with him after the tournament. Naruto consistently offers to spend time with Sakura and gives her positive attention, and she instead chooses to yearn after Sasuke, who's totally caught up with his curse mark and revenge business.

5. Sakura States She Has No Interests Or Hobbies That Don't Involve Sasuke

During the initial introduction that Kakashi has everyone participate in, the members of the newly-formed Team 7 all go around stating a bit about themselves. Sasuke focuses on his future revenge, and though Naruto mostly talks about ramen, he at least also states his dream of becoming Hokage.

Sakura, on the other hand, states that all of her likes and hobbies have to do with Sasuke. Because of this, she also declares that the thing she hates is Naruto. This is incredibly immature, and it's not a good foundation for any relationship if one's entire world revolves around the person they like and they don't have anything else to bring them happiness.

4. They Don't Put Equal Effort Into Their Relationship After Getting Married

Sakura essentially gives up on her life as a shinobi in order to raise her and Sasuke's daughter while he's away. He's gone for so long on missions that Sakura admits that the main reason she keeps so many pictures of Sasuke is so she doesn't forget what he looks like, which is heartbreaking.

Sasuke, on the other hand, doesn't make any effort to stop by and see his family while he's away for years at a time. He could at least send letters to get updates on how their daughter is doing — something he should care deeply about — but he never does.

3. Sakura Plots To Steal A Kiss From Sasuke When He Has No Interest In Her

After graduation, on the day when the teams are made up, Sakura asks Sasuke if she can sit by him. He completely and utterly ignores her, but this doesn't stop her from sitting beside him regardless.

She states internally that she'll be "stealing his first kiss today," which comes off incredibly creepy when he hasn't expressed any interest in her or desire to kiss her. It doesn't make her look like someone who actually cares about him when she's willing to try to get a kiss from him without his consent.

2. Sakura's Self-Confidence Early On Is Completely Reliant On Sasuke

Before the Chunin Exams, Sakura asks Sasuke if he'd like to train with her. He coldly brushes her off and comments that, when it comes to trying to push her plans onto others who aren't interested, she's just as bad as Naruto.

This rejection completely crushes her self-confidence and she immediately agrees with him instead of standing up for herself. She stays in this funk until Sasuke later compliments her ability to see through genjutsu, after which her self-confidence is immediately restored. It's incredibly unhealthy for her sense of self to hinge on how Sasuke treats her.

1. Sasuke Almost Successfully Ended Sakura's Life

If there's one thing that should have made Sakura realize Sasuke didn't care about her the way she cared about him, above all else, it's the moment he tries to kill her.

Sakura goes after Sasuke declaring that she'll be the one to kill him herself after he becomes an international criminal, but she freezes in the moment. He then tries to kill her instead. He would have been successful in this endeavor, too, if Kakashi hadn't shown up just in time to deflect Sasuke's Chidori and save her. Her infatuation with him doesn't waver whatsoever after this, which feels incredibly off-putting after this vicious interaction.

Taka’s members’ bond with Sasuke. (For Taka team’s stans, this one’s for you.)

I don't think there's any point in introducing the Taka team again.

But as today's point is to prove the link as a point of complementarity with Sasuke. I'm going to take a look at the personal lives of each of them.

Ps: sorry for the typos, english is not my mother tongue.

SUIGETSU:

We are going to start with Suigetsu, like Sasuke, Suigetsu had a big brother, pretty strong and skilled because Mangetsu was the only one of the 7 swordsmen of the mist to master the 7 swords of Kiri. Suigetsu's dream was to become as strong as his big brother to enter the 7 swordsmen assassins club, whom he admired a lot, but Mangetsu died rather prematurely while protecting his little brother Suigetsu. Suigetsu trained hard to barely match half of his big brother's sword skills. He also comes from a known clan from the village of Kiri, the clan Hozūki, and owns a Kekkei Genkai, which allows him to liquefy his body from flesh to water. Pretty handy for a swordsman, isn't it? No blade can pierce his body. That's also why Orochimaru was interested in him and kept him prisoner in his laboratories for so many years. Doesn't that remind you of Sasuke? The story of the big brother to be surpassed in abilities, even though he was so admired by the little one? Sasuke had to kill Itachi because he had to avenge his clan, Suigetsu had to become much better than Mangetsu because he promised him before Mangetsu died, that he would take back the title of "Kijin no Sairai" - "the second coming of the demon" (as far as my translation is concerned), so he got it into his head to collect all the swords from Kiri village, in order to take back his brother's inheritance. It's rather cute when you think about it. Suigetsu, in spite of appearances, is not a deeply evil person even if he spent most of his life training to become an assassin. Of all the times he made fun of Karin for her feelings towards Sasuke and Karin hit him, he never twisted back once. Suigetsu doesn't have a family anymore, like Sasuke, he's the last survivor of his clan. Moreover, I wanted to add that Suigetsu, sometimes appears like a coward but is actually very competent, and he is certainly a better swordsman than Sasuke. At the same age, (at 16 years old) Suigetsu had already done 2 - D rank missions, 33 - C rank missions - 40 - B rank missions, 13 - A rank missions and finally 4 - S rank missions originally reserved for jônin, can he be considered as such?

KARIN:

What do we know about Karin?

At first, not much is said, except that she is a very competent sensory ninja, that Sasuke, with Suigetsu came personally to look for. He chose her, among many other competent ninjas. He acknowledged her as the best in her field. That's a canon fact.

Another true thing, Sasuke, who came personally to pick her up, confessed that he needed her to reach his goal.

"I need you, Karin", really happened.

He wasn't forced to do it, on the contrary, Suigetsu, who wasn't a big fan of Karin, spent his time dissuading Sasuke from going to pick her up and take her on the team, but Sasuke insisted.

They saved each other's lives several times. Karin healed him with her "Heal Bite" and he during their fight against Killer Bee, awakened a new power from his Mangekyō Sharingan: Kagutsuchi. He was able to extinguish the flames of the Amaterasu that had touched Karin. His face, scared of losing his teammate, proves how much Sasuke cares about his Taka teammates but especially about Karin. After I will not go on betting that he cares about her, romantically or just friendly because that's not the point and nothing in the manga proves that he did it romantically or kindly, I just want to emphasize this point: he was willing to die, and put Juugo's and Suigetsu's lives in danger in order to save Karin.

We learn a little more about Karin, during the Edotensei scene with Itachi and Sasuke against Kabuto. Kabuto then talks about Taka team members and reveals to Sasuke that Karin is indeed part of the Uzumaki clan, like Naruto, and that's why she has a huge chakra cluster. She regenerates quickly her own wounds but she can help others to regenerate and heal themselves by sharing her chakra, by biting her because it's the fastest way: in fact, the injured person drinks Karin's chakra and regenerates herself/himself in a few moments.

Besides the fact that Karin was used by Sasuke to locate Itachi through her powerful chakra and to warn him of his possible enemies, and of course to heal him in case he would be seriously wounded, she is not an exceptional ninja in combat, she must even very often be saved either by Sasuke or by Suigetsu. Sasuke knew that very well. He was never shocked that Karin might be a weight for them in their adventures. He chose her by himself, nobody forced Karin to be there and decided to protect her.

The scene where Sasuke "sacrifices" Karin to kill Danzō is totally a scene to be taken with extenuating circumstances. Sasuke finally being in front of the person who ruined his life, who ordered the massacre of the Uchiha clan, he couldn't do otherwise, he was forced by all means to kill him. Karin being in his field of action because she wanted to help him, was also pierced by Sasuke's chidori blade. Don't forget though, that he didn't really sacrifice her because she didn't die, since he didn't aim at Karin's vital points.

I still want to thank Sakura for helping Karin with her medical ninjutsu, she is still part of Karin's healing process, without Sakura's intervention, she might have had a hard time healing this time.

I also wanted to point out, on the scene following Karin's famous "sacrifice":

Karin thus finds herself on the ground, dying slowly, Obito then proposes to Sasuke to finish her off, properly because she knows too much about their plan. Sasuke doesn't even take the time to answer him. During this scene, Sasuke takes an exceptional time to load his chidori, giving Team 7 time to arrive on the scene, another proof that deep down he really didn't want to kill her. It is finally on Sakura that Sasuke decides to use his chidori, and not on Karin. Karin then dissuades him... but Sakura is really not far from being killed this time by Sasuke.

This scene is powerful, but it shows the total disinterest of Team 7 in the eyes of Sasuke, at least the disinterest he has in Sakura's life. Sakura being a burden, and considering her as the enemy, had to be eliminated as soon as possible. He was also never afraid to confront Kakashi. The only one for which he has doubts, a certain apprehension that he tries indirectly to hide, remains definitely for Naruto, but again, he does not hesitate to threaten him if Naruto still chases after him.

To finish with Karin, she is part of the Uzumaki clan, one of the oldest clans in the Shinobi world, and derived from the Senju clan, there are not many members of the clan left, at least to our knowledge except Karin, Naruto and Nagato. At the end of the war, only Karin and Naruto remain. She shares this fact with Sasuke. She also had lost her entire family during the previous war, her mother was used for medical purposes, literally having her chakra sucked until her death. She became an orphan at a very young age, left to live on her own, abused by others until she met Orochimaru. She has no one left.When she meets Sasuke, she falls in love with him for his beauty, he is pretty handsome, but as a sensory ninja, she found that he has a beautiful and attractive chakra, she realized right away that Sasuke is not as bad as he pretends to be. She took a close interest in him, and I think the interest was mutual.

JŪGO:

Jūgo, is certainly the only member where we are poorly with information about him.

Jūgo is a deeply kind and loving boy but is possessed by a heavy weight that overwhelms him: the cursed seal. He is the first holder of the cursed seal, it is with his DNA that Orochimaru started his experiments. The poor man, being unable to control his murderous impulses, preferred to die rather than to leave his cell when Sasuke, Suigetsu and Karin came to get him. Sasuke promised to hold him, Jūgo, usually not confident, agrees to come with them because Kimimaro had acknowledged Sasuke. Jūgo, in addition to his incredible physical strength when possessed by the cursed seal, is able to communicate with the birds. Sasuke uses Jūgo through this ability so that his birds can locate the Akatsukis' hideout and that he can create a map from the information transmitted by these birds. Also, Jūgo is an orphan, and since Kimimaro died, he was literally alone in the world. He has no known family, and his affiliation to a particular clan is unknown. Another peculiarity that Sasuke shares with his teammates.

I consider Jūgo as Sasuke/Suigetsu/Karin’s big brother. He took care of them. There also is a scene where he puts Sasuke in his futon after having treated him and bandaged him, because Sasuke had fallen asleep sitting, from exhaustion.

This boy is soooooo cute and gentle. His bipolar side contrasts enormously. His murderous personality with his soft and wise side.

Well, Sasuke's plan was perfect and well thought out.

To answer the question I was asked, "What do they do as Team Taka, besides help Sasuke enter into darkness?"

I, for one, don't hold Team Taka members responsible for Sasuke's entry into the darkness. Far from it. Sasuke was motivated by his hatred for killing Itachi, and after the final battle with his brother, motivated by revenge for those who led to his downfall. Don't get me wrong, I always feel that when it comes to Sasuke, the people who interact with him are responsible for his actions. No, Sasuke most certainly suffers from PTSD, living in unresolved grief since the death of his family, in hatred and constant pain, doesn't need anyone to think for him. He's an intelligent boy, he knows his purpose, he knows he would sacrifice himself to restore honor to those he has lost. His goal was just that. I sincerely think that deep down Sasuke wanted to change the Shinobi world, build new foundations, and achieve peace, so that what he experienced would never happen again, but it was a kind of pipe dream because he really thought he would die in his next confrontation with Naruto. He expected no less.

It really pisses me off that people think that Sasuke is acting according to the actions of others. I don't remember hearing Suigetsu, Karin or Jugo suggest a plan of action to kill someone or do something. He was the leader of this team. The others were acting on his behalf and not the other way around. He was the one who came to find them, he was the one who surrounded himself with these shinobis to help him achieve his goal. You let yourself be influenced by Naruto “talk no jutsu” in Gaiden who dares to tell the Taka team to mind their own business when he himself spent years to mind Sasuke's business, without even understanding the reason for his actions.

Gaiden makes the Taka team look like the villains who helped Sasuke carry out the actions of his hatred, but look closer, they did nothing so exceptional except help him find Itachi and obey Akatsuki's orders to attack Killer B.

It even seems to me that the Taka team were, in the end, the only ones who listened sincerely to Sasuke, to meet his expectations, to try to understand him.

A non-canon fact unfortunately, in a novel about Sasuke, after Itachi's death, Sasuke makes a kind of pilgrimage to learn more about his brother, during his Akatsuki period, and then meets two brothers, who were preparing drops for Itachi's eyes, and they make him think about him and Itachi when they were kids. ... I'm going to skip over the real story of this novel, although it's very well written for a non-canon novel, and we find Sasuke on his scene, by the sea, where he desperately lets go of all his pain in a torrent of tears, and decides to rename Hebi team into Taka team.

Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo were present during one of the worst moments of Sasuke's life: Itachi's death and thus the mourning of his older brother.

In spite of Itachi's terrible actions and choices to raise Sasuke's power, Sasuke still considers him as his beloved older brother who sacrificed himself for a village that never gave them the chance to live, properly...

Again, as I already said in another post, I truly think that all the people close to Sasuke tried to control his choices and his life, without asking his opinion.

Itachi made it clear that he tried to trace Sasuke's life from his childhood to what he became and finally disappointed to have failed... but what the hell did he expect?

Naruto, who absolutely wants Sasuke to go back to Konoha, but why? He knew very well that the people in Konoha would bully him for his actions, when he was already bullied enough to be an Uchiha in Konoha. So Naruto claims to know what's best for Sasuke. What?!

Sakura... is Sakura.

Kakashi and Jiraya tried to dissuade Sakura and Naruto from desperately pursuing a guy who clearly wanted to get the hell out of this village: Sasuke is not worth it.

Decidedly, Sasuke doesn't get much grace from people. Between those who think he's a sulky, who always makes moods because he has some problems in his life and those who judge him without knowing a second of his existence and his journey, he's really badly surrounded.

The Taka team is the only one that hasn't gone into the details and is following Sasuke, even before he decides to explain to them the reasons for this gathering.

I like their complicity. I like their dynamics. They help each other.

Team Taka is the one that Sasuke chose on his own, Team 7 is the one that was imposed on him. Don't forget that.

One’s Rebirth: Spin Off Chapter 3

A/N: At last, the final chapter is done! It was really fun writing this and I have a bunch of ideas for more spin offs so lemme know if y’all wanna see more. @red-riot-rat Have fun reading!

Warnings: A lot of angst, death, blood, and mentions of blades.

2 Months after Shigaraki's death

Since it was J'me's first time in jail, his bail would be two million yen or face five years. Back then, he knew he was going to be serving those five years. No one had that kind of money except Momo. At the beginning of his sentence though, she didn't want to talk to him because of what he did. Hardly anyone visited him for the first two weeks.

As for Kid, they're still on the run from the police. After rejoining with the remaining members of the league, they made him the new leader. This group only had one goal now, destroy every student at U.A and get rid of all the heroes.

Back to the male in jail, "J'me Falcon, you have a visitor." The guard put him in handcuffs and took him down to the visiting area. Who's day was it again? He was pretty sure he was going to see Midoriya and Bakugo today. Who he didn't expect to see was the number two hero, Hawks.

He sat down at the table and let out a breath of air. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be saving people not talking to people in jail." He placed his hands on the table, ready to get up and leave. Aizawa already talked to him about what he did, he didn't want to hear another damn lecture.

Hawks just let out a little chuckle, thinking of what to say. "I guess you're right, but I do have a deal for you." He leaned forward a little bit, making sure the guards didn't hear his next words. "I'll bail you out and make sure you can go back to U.A and become a hero, if you kill the rest of the league off."

J'me waved him off as if it wasn't through. "I can see you're lying through the fucking limits. If that's the case though I'll see you tomorrow." He got up from the table and left towards his prison cell.

The rest of the day went by without anything really happening. Though what can you do when you're stuck in a small room the entire time.

"Oi, little bitch it's time for you to leave. And never come back here again." The guard rattled against the bars of the cell, making enough noise to wake up J'me.

"Huh, maybe the bird was right about his deal." He muttered to himself as he grabbed his stuff and left the prison.

Hawks would be waiting for the boy outside the prison and smiled when he saw him. "Told ya I was serious about my deal."

J'me rolled his eyes at Hawks and let out a breath of air. "Whatever, let's just go somewhere else to talk about it dumbass." And so, they left going back to the number two's house. Once they got inside he started speaking again. "Give me everything you have on the league currently. Has anyone new joined? Who's the new leader?"

Damn, he did not play when it came to the league. "No one new has joined, but another member was killed while you were locked up. Twice. Their new leader is Kid." Hawks then gave J'me everything else he might need.

"Alright, fine. I'll take down everyone in the league under some conditions. Let class 1-A know about what's happening and make sure they keep quiet. And let Hatsume know that I'm coming home soon. I better be able to become a hero again, Hawks. Now, I'm gonna need one of my kunai's, can you get me one?" J'me let out a small sigh as he crouched down. Just thinking about taking the life of someone he once knew made him sick.

"Yeah, I'll make sure to tell them and get you a kunai." He patted J'me's back, he knew how it felt to take someone's life. He was the one who took Twice's life. After a couple seconds of silence, the hero left to do what J'me asked him to do.

By the time Hawks came back, J'me was dressed up in a black hoodie and black shorts. It was better to be safe about this. Though, what he didn't expect was a couple class members to be with Hawks as well. Momo and Kirishima ran up to hug J'me while Bakugo just crossed his arms.

He gave them a quick hug before letting go. "What are y'all doing here?"

"Hawks told us what you planned on doing, even if he can get you back into U.A again doesn't mean you should be doing this. I thought you were better than this, J'me." Momo frowned at the boys' action. She understood why he would do something like this, but she didn't want him to carry the death of three more people. One was enough, he shouldn't be carrying anymore.

"Yeah, what Momo said. You don't need to do this bro, we can find another way to make sure you can be a hero again." Kirishima said, grabbing J'me and shaking him.

J'me grabbed Kirishima's arm to stop the shaking. "I understand both of y'all's concerns, but this is the only way. Everyone sees me as a villain at the moment for taking a life. I need to do this guys."

"Fine, if you think this is the only way, promise us you'll try to make sure it doesn't change you." Momo pulled J'me into another hug, letting go after a couple seconds.

"I promise." He walked past the two of them and towards Bakugo. Once getting close to him, he held out his hand. "The least you can do is shake my hand."

"Tch, fine." He shook his rival's hand and let out a breath of air. "You better come back so I can kick your ass!"

J'me just gave a small chuckle before walking over towards the hero. "I'll assume you have a kunai of mine."

Hawks pulled out the infamous kunai and handed it to the boy along with a bracelet. "The guards told me you left something behind, so I grabbed it on my way back."

J'me slipped on the bracelet and looked at the kunai. "If this has a tracking chip in it, we will have some problems." With that said, he teleported away, in search of the league's new hideout.

Hours passed before J'me found their new hideout. He tossed his hoodie on and knocked on the door, as he knocked he kept his head down to make sure his face wasn't revealed.

As the door opened up, Dabi's voice would follow. "Who the fuck are you?" It opened up just enough so he could see the hooded figure.

A second passed before J'me lifted his head up and took the hoodie off. "Death." He pushed the door open fully, knocking the fire bitch back a little bit as well. From there his left hand was instantly coated in lightning chakra and the sound of a thousand birds filled the room. This was known as the Chidori, a jutsu that could go through someone's heart. J'me took a couple steps forward, lunging his hand through Dabi's chest, killing the villain in the process. The chidori disappeared as Dabi fell back, leaving J'me's hand covered in blood.

Toga was the first one to act, she didn't wanna believe Dabi was dead, she couldn't believe it. Even villains have people they care about, as much as the world denies it, it's true. Good or evil, people will always have someone they care about. Toga dashed towards J'me, slicing her knife in many rapid movements. Did she care about getting hurt? No, as long as J'me was dead, she didn't care what happened to her. If she was killed then so be it, the enemy would be going down with her no matter what. Tears poured out of her eyes in the process.

J'me would side step out the way of the first slice, from there he grabbed Toga's wrist and disarmed her. "Try something stupid again and I won't hesitant to kill you either. I knew Dabi would instantly attack me when I showed myself so, he was the first to die." He pushed Toga back and raised his kunai, signaling that he was not playing around. Maybe this was a test by Hawks, he wouldn't actually pay for someone to kill, would he?

"You were gonna kill us either way, you fucking monster. How the hell did you even get out of prison?" Even Kid was crying at this point. They had just seen someone else they cared about die in front of them. Though, this wasn't the time to just sit down and cry about everything. That's why Kid asked the question, hopefully they could get an answer before they were killed.

"Hawks bailed me out on one condition. If I killed all of y'all, he would do something so that I could be a hero again. As much fun as being a villain could be, I just can’t. He didn’t want any more blood on his hands, so he decided to drown Toga. “You were my favorite member of the league…” He muttered under his breath. The boy put the kunai handle inside his mouth and made a clone.

As soon as the ball of water trapped Toga, Kid ran over to them only to be stopped by the clone that J’me made. “I knew Hawks was using us! Ever since he killed Twice I knew. No one believed me though…” Kid could only watch as Toga slowly drowned to death, there was nothing he could do about it either.

After a couple minutes, Toga’s body went limp, indicating that she was dead. J’me made the water ball pop, letting the dead body fall to the floor. He then grabbed the kunai out of his mouth and walked over to the body before stabbing it through the head, making sure Toga was dead. “You’re now the only one left in the league, not for long though. Do you know how you want to die?”

Seeing J’me stab the body as if it wasn’t dead broke Kid completely, he dropped down to his knees, tears pouring down again. “Just end me quickly...I don’t wanna be in this world knowing I have no one anymore.”

J’me handed the kunai to his clone and took one last look at his former friend. “Goodbye Kid, you were a good friend till the end.” With that said, he left to go wash the blood off of him and tell Hawks that the league was no more. The clone knew exactly what to do once J’me left the room. He stabbed Kid through the heart, killing the villain instantly. Blood splattered all over the clone as he pulled out the kunai, letting Kid fall to the floor. The kunai then disappeared along with the clone, leaving all the bodies behind to be discovered by the police.

Days went by before the death of the league made it to news headlines. No one ever found out who killed them and Hawks did as promised. He was able to clear J’me’s record and back into U.A. As the years went on, J’me started to slowly have night terrors, but no one knew about them.

I far more active on twitter, but thought: may as well copy it there, soooo Megaten lore post! With spoilers for persona 2, persona 3, smt i, smt Iv, smt Iva, Devil Survivor 1 and 2

Recarm/samerecarm rules! Please remember it's based on the games I know so not everything will appeal to every Megaten game and is about human characters:

*you cannot use it if the target's soul was taken, they were possessed by demon to the point of not return or the body doesn't exist anymore (for example it was eaten)

Soul was taken: example would be law hero from smt I, first his soul was taken by Nebiros and then by angels

Possesed by demon: mother in smt I (this scene always gives me feels. _.) and in a sense Issachar? Although the issue was more complicated there, it still applies I think

Body doesn't exist anymore: Asahi (she was eaten, oups), but I'm aware that you can resurrected her, but the point is, it doesn't happen by mere Recarm/Samerecarm

*in persona series it won't work if the wound wasn't inflicted by Demon/Shadow or/and the target isn't a Persona user or said persona is weaken by outside force

In p2 there was Yukino's senpai (can't remember the name) that couldn't be saved (he wasn't a Persona user and the party at this point of the game surely had healing skills)

In p3 Shinjiro, aside from the fact that no one really tries to use magic, I guess it's mostly because they're aware it wouldn't work anyway

Chidori and Junpei are special case, Chidori has advanced healing magic, but even then to heal gun wound (outside force), she needed to give her own life in exchange (and even if you manages to save her, she won't remember anything and probably wouldn't be alive for long, thanks to pills)

*the deeper you're in collective unconscious, the better these spells work

In pq games is it stated that instead of being knocked out, the character dies, so supposedly this is how it works, the wounds are lethal, but reviving and healing isn't a problem, so no one is freaking out by it

*in DeSu only works on party members and they need to be in DSP's range. Which, honestly, make sense it was implemented, human beings can be... Monstrous 😅

You can't save Keisuke if he gets killed by Kaido. You can't save Yamato or Ronaldo if they dies on any route. You can't cast Recarm on Joe if you're too late to save him on... Wednesday I think? And you can't save in that way any of civilians that died in DeSu or Desu2

And why it makes sense... Well, Naoya isn't stupid and it's fully aware of human nature. Yeah, there would be a lot of people probably reviving others, but on the other hand, isn't that perfect torture tool? You can kill somebody and then revive them and they won't be able to stop you. So, yeah, I can understand why it only works on party members.

*weird mythology shenanigans are involved (Yumiko/Izanagi thing for example)

I can't remember exactly how this plot played out or if Recarm was even a thing back then, but given how complicated the whole process was, weird mythology shenanigans are stronger than Recarm and Samerecarm >. >

Aragaki, the lone wolf who sticks out like a sore thumb at nightly meetings, is from the same orphanage as Sanada. Three years ago, Aragaki was a member of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, where Sanada awakened the power of Persona within him. However, he wasn't able to fully control his powers. One day, a horrible accident occurred and a number of people were driven mad. Aragaki's Persona went berserk and snatched away the life of an innocent bystander. Despondent, Aragaki dropped out of school and began aimlessly roaming the streets at night. In order to restrain his Persona ability, whenever Aragaki is faced with danger, he takes a suppressant drug - although it has its side effects. Aragaki only returned to the SEES to bear his past deeds. Aragaki gave his life as a final apology to those tied to the past and unable to move forward, saying: "I'm the only one who deserves to rot in hell."

Like A Whole Nother World

People are taking my return to the SEES really nicely... What the hell happened. Back when it was just me and Aki and Kirijo, the lounge felt way too big... But with all the new members, it's stuffed. Girls, a little kid, and even a dog... Some real variety in this lineup. Did Aki and Kirijo just get swept up in all that?

And on top of that, they're all treating me real good, even though they barely know me. The 2nd years think I bailed their asses out at the meeting place, when really I was just chasing off some pests. Either way, they're being real nice to me.

I don't bother with school or club activities or whatever, so I can focus all my energy on battle. Hit me up whenever you're heading off to Tartarus. I mean, that's why I came back here in the first place.

Under the full moon, a Shadow appeared, as promised. I hang out at Escapade plenty, but this time everyone on the floor was complaining about the power being on the fritz. I guess that was an omen or something that a Shadow was about to appear. Can't let things like that slip you by.

But man, there were some real annoying tagalongs last night. Junpei thought he was gonna party his ass off, the poor guy. That chick from Strega was totally stringing him along, but Junpei still managed to be worried about her. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but pure-hearted guys like him are the ones that fall for that kind of thing.

But still, the chick's Persona was really something... Might be worth worrying about. I think I'll pop my head into the hospital too.

1. How did it feel when your Persona awakened?

I don't remember anything from back then...

2. What did you think when you saw your Persona?

Don't really care, that's just how he looks. He's Aki's Persona's brother. I mean, me and Aki go way back. You couldn't separate us even if you tried.

3. What's your favorite attacking strategy?

I'm not a big fan of whittling enemies down bit by bit. Better to give 'em one big hit and knock 'em dead, all in one go.

4. Any Shadows you have trouble with?

I don't got any weak points. I mean, if your Persona is weak, that just means your heart is weak.

5. What do you want to do when we're done fighting?

Hell if I know. I just want to take responsibility for what I've done. I think I'm just about there. After that... Aki, it's your turn.

Oh, and when we're going off to Tartarus, don't expect me to act like we're going on a picnic, or whatever. When a Shadow pops out, I want to look like a grown-up warrior. We didn't get this far by being stylish.

I mean, if you're fighting to win, then I'll quit whining. Just don't mess around too much. And don't forget that lives are on the line.

Haven't Seen a Movie In Ages

Man, I haven't been to the movies in ages. It's a lot nicer to go on your own, but... Well, if you're inviting me, you must be kind of a weirdo. I guess I don't mind coming along though, kills some time.

But like, did you pick that movie on purpose? "Woof-Meow Kingdom"... We were surrounded by family, made me weirdly sweaty. And the climactic scene where they got dragged in the river... That was... Well, whatever...

Right, I need to give Koro-chan the special dog food and assorted bones I got on the way home. The leash we use on walks is filthy, so maybe I should get a new one, too... Oh, and I'm going to give him a bath later tonight. Shoot, I forgot to get a massage brush...

Anyway, do you think Koro-chan's good at doggy paddling? Never know when something bad might happen around water...

Evening Walk

You guys keep going off about how taking a walk at night soothes the soul, and I kinda have to agree. I used to kill time at night by hanging out in back alleys or clubs, but I guess it's not so bad doing something more healthy with my evenings. And this is so weird, but taking a nice walk makes me want to make dinner for Koro-chan.

It's fall and everything's being harvested, which makes it the season for eating. You guys need to remember to eat up and stay healthy. Or else you're gonna end up bedridden, like our leader was. What would you even do if a shadow popped out then? Well, I guess everything's going good on that front, so it's fine for now. Just remember to get a nice square meal in every day.

The Trick to Cooking

Fall's the season for eating, but I don't think that fancy kitchen we have is getting any use. The fridge is full of sports drinks and milk, the cupboards are crammed with protein shakes and cup noodles and junk food... It's messed up. Do you people seriously never cook? We didn't even have a good set of utensils, so I brought some in. Yamagishi's the only one who seems excited about cooking, but she doesn't have the basics down yet. Don't get me wrong, enthusiasm's great, but...

Well, if you've heard someone say that cooking is an act of love, it probably came from someone who's mastered their basics. Doesn't matter how much love you pour into your cooking, if you mess up some fundamental part, it's not gonna taste good. A super common mistake beginners make is ignoring what the recipe says and improvising instead. Get your basics down pat, then you can switch things up. Remember, you don't gotta rush it. Doesn't matter what you're doing, taking it one step at a time is key.

So tomorrow's the long-awaited full moon, huh. And you know another huge Shadow's gonna pop out. But I never thought the full moon would fall on tomorrow's date, of all days... I can't bring myself to call it a coincidence.

It's not like I think I won't be coming back, but with what I have in the palm of my hand... Well, I can't tell if it's a coincidence or a cruel prank. And the whole time I sit here agonizing about it, the pocketwatch in my palm keeps on ticking. If I had to name the one thing I can never change, it'd be my past self. Who's bound by their past now? It's not just me... So, the only thing left for me to do is to make things right. Because no matter what I choose, I don't got much time left...

I'm not gonna write anything more here, I promise. You don't have to forgive me for my selfishness. And no matter what happens, don't you dare cry...

If You Get Into A Relationship...

Social links with Aragaki don't turn romantic until you max out your S. Link rank with him. But once you do get to max, if you call him one more time, you can have the protagonist confess to him. After a short period of heated questioning, you can enter Aragaki's room. Acting much unlike the Aragaki you've seen so far, he will embrace the protagonist and make an unexpectedly bold move. While it's quite the mushy event, if you do get in a relationship, he'll actually be quite assertive. By the way, the protagonist confesses to him in the dorm lounge. If you think about it, Yukari and Junpei and all the other members would be right next to them the whole time...

Following the protagonist's advice, he throws a party. While putting everything together for the party, he teaches Fuuka (who is hopeless at cooking) how to cook. Drawn by the smell, their dormmates gather, and the lounge springs to life. While everyone enjoys the meal, Aragaki steps out for a bit, and asks the protagonist for a private chat. Then, gazing at the protagonist with a gentle smile, he says, "I'm leaving Sanada and everyone else in your hands."

Since someone requested a character map for my fic A Single Reason, I’ve gone ahead and created this little puppy. Hope this helps anyone who is/was interested. These are all the OC/borrowed characters who have actually any important impact in the story, as well as a few facts you might not know about them.

Epitaph - a mafia-like organization operating throughout the whole of Japan. Drug and illegal firearms trade. Human trafficking. Assassination. Information trade. You name it, Epitaph is probably doing it. Currently is run by the Big Four and was, at the start of the story, almost 10,000 members and associates strong. Has currently gone to ground after a tenth of personnel were apprehended by police following Izuku, Momo and Hitoshi’s desertion.

Big Four

Alkaid - Current leader of Epitaph

Real Name unknown. Quirk: “SUPERNOVA” (ability to ionize gases into hot plasma). Mysterious and secretive, little is fully understood about her other than she has a love of mythology and traditionally feminine appearances. Izuku once saw her snap a man’s spine over her knee a la Bane from Batman.

Senri - Second in command of Epitaph, as well as functional Head of Business

Real Name - “Senri ???”, wanted Momo to call him “Gin” for reasons unknown. Quirk: “HAIR STRINGS” (can manipulate his hair as a prehensile tool). Has a very survival-of-the-fittest mentality, with some (never explicitly shown) p*d*philic tendencies regarding young girls. Doesn’t actually sleep with anyone under the minimum age, though, because he’s trash, but he’s not fucking stupid. Is childhood best friends with Ken and is a former accountant. Also the only one of the Big Four who, arguably, can’t fight.

Blessed - Chief Enforcer

Real Name unknown. Quirk: UNKNOWN. Was a hero before taking a criminal apprehension too far, causing the death of purse snatcher. Is now a wanted criminal was a warrant out for her arrest. Brutal and militaristic, she was the Suzumebachi’s primary trainer before their defections/deaths, as well as a frequent tormentor of Izuku for his quirklessness. She is the one who executed Changeling for attempting to defect.

Ken - Human Resources Manager

Real Name unknown. Quirk: UNKNOWN. Former underground illegal quirk-fighting champion turned villain, Ken is mostly just a career criminal out to take care of his aging parents and keep Senri out of too much trouble. He still manages to operate inside Epitaph and with it’s members with no shred of remorse or shame, and is Senri’s best friend, so, really, how good can he be?

Executives (Aka, Bungo Stray Dog’s characters lol) - as a side note, all their quirks are their gifts in BSD.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke - Izuku’s former Handler and tormentor. Blessed assigned his charge when the boy was 11 and he has hated Izuku ever since. Cruel, temperamental and sickly.

Hirotsu Ryuro - Hitoshi’s former Handler, as well as Head of Torture, Interrogation and Assassination. Was training Hitoshi to be his apprentice and eventual successor when he “retires”.

Ozaki Koyo - Assassin and Momo’s former Handler. Looked after and genuinely cared for Momo in her own way, but only started really recognizing Momo after she voluntarily murdered Phantom’s killer. She and Alkaid also coached Izuku on how to hone his natural charisma with speech-craft.

Sakura ??? - Wanted for trespassing, arson and cyber-terrorism, he was Momo’s programming and infiltration trainer.

Hoshigaki - Expert Spy, Assassin and Infiltrator. Chageling’s former Handler before his defection and subsequent execution. Also is Alkaid’s older cousin. She and Blessed had a “thing” some years back.

Kurosaki - A smuggler who managed to get into the Big Four’s graces just enough to be assigned as Hecatoncheir’s Handler. He was murdered when she successfully managed to escape the organization. A member of the original squad sent to kidnap the kids.

Agent Changeling - Real Name “Shouji Kaku”. Quirk: “STAND-IN” (place an optical illusion over anything he touches). Obsessed with stars and space and was a great story-teller. Shouji Mezo’s paternal cousin. Became suicidal towards the end of his life. Was executed after his fellow Suzumebachi aided him in a failed escape attempt 10 months before the story starts. He was 15.

Agent Hecatonchier - Real Name “Yosano Naomi”. Quirk: “REJECTION” (psycho-kinetically push objects withing a 10-foot radius away from her). The eldest Suzumebachi who became the group’s established leader, mother and older sister all in one. She loved and cared for her fellow Suzumebachi extensively. Successfully managed to escape Epitaph 4 months before the story starts and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. She is currently 16, approaching 17.

The Families - Aka, the people who are just happy to have their children back lol. 8 years is a long time without your babies, ya know...

The Yaoyorozu Family

Yaoyorozu Hisoka - Momo’s mother. Once wanted to be a hero, but became scared after her mother was involved in a car-bombing that left her permanently disabled, then transferred to the Business course. There, she met her future fiance and the father of her child, Tsuzuki Nagare, who would die in a car accident before their marriage. Founded the Yaoyorozu Corporation with Nagare to create premier heroics equipment, supplies and medical equipment. Became a secret underground hero a la Batman called “Lightscreen”, after Momo was taken. Her quirk, “Light Image”, allows her to generate solid light constructs. Her quirk combined with Nagare’s “Toxin Excretion” to make Momo’s “Creation” quirk.

Yaoyorozu Junpei - Momo’s maternal grandfather. A bit of a traditionalist, and a quirkless artist specializing in geometric patterns. He fought hard to gain every inch of his success throughout his life. Was in an artist’s slump before meeting Chidori. She rescued him from a villain attack, and he’s been inspired by her ever since.

Yaoyorozu Chidori - Momo’s maternal grandmother. A courageous and vivacious woman, she was the Shimmering Sorceress, the number 15th Ranked hero of her generation. She saved the isle of Shikoku from the echo terrorist, Chloroshield. In her 40′s, she convinced to retire after being involved in a car bombing that necessitated the amputation of her right leg. Her quirk is “Shimmer”, which grants her the ability to bend photons to her will.

The Shinsou Family

Shinsou Izuna - Hitoshi’s father. A free-lance graphics designer now employed by Hisoka and family man who wants to be supportive of his son, but is also intimidated by his large criminal record. Hitoshi and he share the same quirk, though Hitoshi’s is admittedly more powerful than Izuna’s. He likes working outside, which is part of the reason he’s so tan in the warmer months.

Shinsou Namani - Hitoshi’s mother. A former office worker turned Hisoka’s at-home secretary. Her family, the Seiwara, have a history of mental illnesses stemming from the fact that their family line has a gene that means their brains under-produce dopamine and serotonin. She loves her family very much, and thinks her son and husband are too much like each other despite not spending much time together. Her quirk allows her to sense the neural pathways in other people’s brains, giving her a very limited kind of general, multi-target telepathy.

Shinsou Noriko - Hitoshi’s bold and stead-fast younger sister. She grew up hearing stories of her missing older brother. Now that he’s back, she’s determined to get to know him and help him get back to normal life. Not being able to go to school and hang out with her friends bothers her more than she wants to admit. Her quirk is a mix of Nanami’s and Izuna’s, which allows her to implant powerful suggestions into people’s heads at will.

Other Characters (aka, the ones who have only appeared once or twice, or are recurring, yet don’t have a name)

Tanizaki Junichirou - A BSD character who, in this verse, is a budding politician. One of Alkaid’s information brokers wanted him taken out. Izuku killed him in chapter 2.

Chief Umeji - Tsukauchi’s boss and head of police in Musutafu. A hard-assed but fair man who trusts Tsukauchi’s judgement. His quirk gives him flowering plum-branch hair. His spouse is runs a flower shop painted with a blue rose. They have an adopted daughter. He appeared in chapter 7.

Kaiun Raiyo - Momo, Izuku and Hitoshi’s therapist. Her office is a huge swimming pool due to her aquatic-based mutation quirk causing her trouble on land. Got rejected from a hero course and took the time to try and figure her life out. Her quirk is based off the Abyssal Lagiacrus from Monster Hunter Tri/3U. Appears in chapter 12.

Probation Officer - Momo, Izuku and Hitoshi’s probation officer. He’s cold at first, but seeing the kids interact with their supervisors and hearing, week after week, of their good behavior, he’s starting to soften up. Appears in chapters 8, 9, 10 and 13. He might get a name. Maybe. Eventually.

Weird Headcanon...

Okay so Ive been thinking a lot. I ship a strange ship not a lot of people ship, FeMc and Jin Shirato.Its my guilty pleasure and I wish that rather than the other hermit they had for p3p they had him in a similar way they did it for the male route. Anyways... my headcanon...... This whole ramble has spoilers for persona 3 as a whole the journey and the answer, about the end and if you are upset by spoilers that are for a game that came out in the early 2000s then please just be careful... also mentioning of Shadows cry, but no spoilers because it isn't relevant to this.

Social Link wish

So My thought as explained above was the Hermit would be him, and in place of the teacher, playing in game and having a similar thing. Just a basic social link with a romance option. the reveal being kinda like to the one here with a link to the fic this is biased on and leading to his sacrifice. It would be a one off date, and not able to do anything else with him other than the normal fighting, some changed texts of self doubt or something. Just a big angst war inside of him, and FeMc.

Explanation on how Jin could have lived

So in shadows cry (the novel which has Jin as the main “protag” of sorts) It goes so much into detail about Jin, and shows his more human side, how he jokes around, has a friend outside of strega who he cares about, and even how he is the one to control the temperature for the shower when Chidori uses it. In this we also learn that Jin makes his own grenades and sometimes they come out more like fireworks than explosives. Something that is bound to happen from time to time when you learned to make your own at home.

Now here is my thought, In the end of persona, where Jin sacrifices himself and blows up the shadows at the top of Tartarus, what if he had a malfunctioning grenade? What if it was enough to just burn him a bit, and take the shadows out? What if he got out of Tartarus? What if he made it out just to pass out outside and get carried away to the hospital for his burns? I would Imagine FeMc looking for him after with no luck.

My thought is he could have lived, because honestly if Chidori lived, (Which she did, if you play persona 3 the answer) when we saw her actually disappear, its possible Jin could be too. Going on to living his life after the whole thing, healed and scarred, left with no one to be around, decides to just live his life as a semi functioning adult. Maybe He gets a job, earns some money, Moves to another town and gets an apartment, and so on. I would imagine him having almost war like flashbacks, things triggering attacks that are hard to calm down from like hearing sonic booms, or something. Just doing what he can to live, after all FeMc fought so save the world, so why put it to waste?

Now for the less legnthy part, FeMc.

So for FeMC Hamuko/Minako. You see, because she isnt technically Canon, But an alternate dimension version of Makoto/Minato, In The answer MC is the seal to the door, you cant have FeMc as that seal, which is why she isn’t canon, but in the end why does that have to be a bad thing.... maybe she doesn’t have to give her life so much. I’m thinking that maybe rather than her body and soul dying that maybe loosing her memories of everything and everyone would be her sacrifice. Maybe after her passing out on the roof and the coma she eventually wakes up, unlike Makoto/Minato. Maybe she Wakes up with no memory, has to go live with her family again and then continues to go to school and start her life over from that point. Finishing high school, and going to collage. SEES still being friends with her but refusing to bring it all up in fear of hurting her more, as they tried to bring it up to her before, only causing headaches and sadness for not remembering.

How they meet up again

I’m thinking maybe someday Hamuko/Minako and Jin maybe meet up, Jin instantly knowing who she is and nervous about talking to her but forced to because he works some minimum wage job as IDFK a fucking Ice cream man at a shop, or maybe even more realistically a computer lab at a collage or a guy who fixes computers because why not. Both grown more, Jin becoming a bit less scrawny, and Hamuko/Minako more womanly and full. When Jin asks her how shes been all awkwardly realizes she doesn't know who he is. Through some research finding out she lost her memory and even contacted Mitsuru out of confusion. I think it could be an interesting situation where Jin is stuck wanting to help her get her memory back and falling for her. Helping himself become more at ease with himself as a person having someone to be around because its obvious he is a very co-dependent person biased on his relationship with Takaya. Maybe he helps her get her memories back, or maybe she never does, just believing everyone and learning to accept everything how it is.

Conclusion

Over all I would have just loved to have a Jin route in P3P, Maybe learned more about him and how he though about things, and why he sacrificed himself to help SEES. Some people got to see how he was in shadows cry, but even the it never came out in English.... fan translations are hard to find, As it is I can only find one chapter right now of shadows cry in English. https://gekkoukanhigh.livejournal.com/167261.html Right here for those who want it. I would really love to see more fan art of these two, The happy go lucky ready to help girl and the used and abused experiment boy. Ive done enough RPs of this ship, too bad I come up with a good idea now, but this would be difficult to RP due to the slow pacing it would have. 2) Similarly, Steph plays piano to help calm Tim down whenever he’s having a panic attack.3) After RotJ Tim refuses to wear red for a long time until Steph knits him a red scarf and tells him it “suits him” bc red is the color of heroes.

As an aside, I also recently like the idea that Logan was at Lex’s party in the DCEU and saw Bruce and Diana together, based on this playlist that I made. U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.Gonna talk about a few I don’t mention too often nowadays.

1) Link from The Legend of ZeldaLink will forever be my greatest true love. He’s the first real “hero” I believed in, and he honestly changed my life at one point to actually want to be a better person. While that faith has faded and I don’t think I can ever reach his example, I still wish I had that kind of courage and kindness - or at least be able to inspire others in the same way he did me.2) Meroko Yui from Full Moon wo SagashiteIf Link was the first (and only) person I ever truly fell in love with, Meroko was the one who taught me what “true love” was in the first place. I won’t say too much since I still sincerely hope you will check out the series someday, but suffice to say there’s a scene towards the end where she makes a choice that shows how much she has personally grown, and come to understand what it really means to “love” someone wholeheartedly.

3) Gary Oak from PokémonThis is a bit of an odd one, but Gary is a character I related to a lot when I was an adolescent since, of the main series cast, he was the first and one of few to really change his “status quo” by quitting training and deciding to become a researcher instead. In my eyes it seemed like a shockingly conscious choice to “grow up” in a world where you can ostensibly remain a “child” forever, and I both admired and deplored him for it (especially at that tender transitory age I was going through at the time, where it feels like you’re being forced to “become an adult” whether you want to or not).

It’s another gods-be-damned Time Travel Concept Fic

Yeah so I’m calling this one A Widening Gyre because I’m not at all pretentious. XP

IN FAIR KONOHA WE SET OUR SCENE

Rin was a jinchuriki and we all know that those people don’t die easy, so she totes survives the chidori to the chest. The need to heal from near-death let Obito have his dramatic breakdown in the rain over her (not-quite) dead body plus gave Minato enough wiggle room to fix the faults and traps in Rin’s seal.

Rin was declared KIA though, and her survival was classified to protect her from Kiri trying to get the Sanbi back and also to keep the Elder Council from fucking with her. “Turtle” joins ANBU under the command of “Wolf” and they are the scariest dual act ANBU has seen for a long time. Like, holy shit. Then “Tiger” joins their team right after “Wolf” gets his Captain promotion, and the addition of Mokuton is frankly ridiculous. Then “Crow” joins the team right as Kushina announces her pregnancy and this is just. They are all approx. 4 feet tall and the most terrifying ANBU team Konoha has and no one knows how to deal with this. (There are rumours about an ANBU trainee going by “Raven” and FFS T&I isn’t paid enough to deal with this nonsense.)

Obito is a sensor (natural or trained IDK but he has that skill set) and he gets sidetracked on his way to Naruto’s birth b/c “That’s... that’s Rin.” Things happen, reunion of the Team plus “You’re alive!” drama is interrupted by Danzo being a giant bag of dicks, ROOT shenanigans ensue because Kinoe is also “Tiger” and KakaRin are possessive little shits. To say nothing of how Shisui reacts to the idea of someone being more important to his teammate than him. (Fucking Uchiha drama queens I swear...)

This is all taking place while Kushina is in labour BTW. WTF people how are you fitting this many feels into less than 12 hours I am impressed by this. Danzo was expecting Zetsu and “Madara” to back him up r.e. disposing Minato and getting the Kyuubi shoved in a more manageable host but Obito is la~ate and also KakaRin have v. strong grips, like wow do you work out?

Kakashi and his-name-is-Tenzo-now’s weird bromance drama comes to a climax when Danzo is chased back to his HQ by the Hokage’s v. pissed off guard team. (Hi Genma and Raido welcome to the madness.)

So it turns out that Danzo took over Tobirama’s old lab as ROOT’s main base but missed a few experiments pretending to be part of the security system. Oops. So Kamui plus experimental seals plus the Hiraishin markers carried by Genma and Raido and Kakashi plus an attempt to interfere with Rin’s containment seal means it all goes BOOM

Upside: Kyuubi stays sealed.

Downside: Sanbi goes on a rampage instead.

This is the last we see of the future Konoha timeline kthnksbye~eee...

NEW SCENE SETTING: THE WARRING CLANS ERA

Rin is out of it b/c Sanbi was forcibly removed from her chakra coils

Upside: She gets to keep a larger reserve of chakra than what she was born with naturally, keeps a few of the jinchuriki perks like rapid healing, and her chakra control is back to medic-inn levels for the first time in almost 2 years!

Downside: Motherfucking ow.

Rin is down, therefore Danzo did something to her so KakaObi don’t hesitate in aiming to kill. Genma and Raido trust Kakashi and back him up but oh look Danzo has stolen sharingan eyes implanted in a creepy zombie arm oh very shit forever.

EPIC SHOWDOWN!! FIGHT!!

KakaObi are scary AF and also apparently share a brain. Danzo is made v. dead before they even realize that they’ve been shot-put through time as well as space. But leftover Zetsu shit/heart seal is triggered when Danzo tries to not die but Kakashi gets in the way b/c he’s not losing Obito again. MAGIC NINJA DEATH CURSE NO JUTSU idk I’ll figure out the details later but OH NO Kakashi is poisoned and Obito is distraught b/c Kakashi just jumped on the sword for Obito again this is not a theme Obito likes to see reoccur fuck you universe.

The antidote only grows along the seashore so ANBU Team Baby Genii Ne minus Wolf do a suicide run to Wave Country and back.

Without Danzo around Kakashi, at 14 years of age, is the highest ranked Leaf Shinobi. ROOT proceeds to imprint like ducklings.

Shit friends I just realized that Kabuto is still in ROOT at this point excellent now Genma can be the poison specialist and Kabuto can be the baby medic and they can work together to keep Kakashi alive while Obito threatens to kill everything (except Rin) if Kakashi dies.

Alrighty fuck it let’s make it a party. Anko’s there too b/c she followed the mayhem b/c she knows that Danzo had something to do with Orochimaru’s defection but her Curse Seal gets the same yoink treatment as Rin’s Bijuu Seal and now Anko’s 100% doing the deputy thing while Raido arranges the patrols. (Radio may not have the highest rank in their group but he is the oldest so that’ll have to do)

Tiny baby Sai and Shin are the cutest murder babies aww... (Also get to indulge my HC that newborn Uchiha have red eyes instead of blue so Itachi and Shisui know from the get-go that Sai is an Uchiha.)

Speaking of murder babies Itachi is trying v. hard not to think about never seeing Sasuke or his parents again. (FFS Itachi is the only one of these jackasses to canonically have living parents at this point in the TL. Except Rin but TBH she’s been pretending to be dead for the last 2 years so I don’t think she counts anymore.) Itachi is going to latch onto Sai so hard as a replacement baby bro omg Itachi stahp

War interruptus via Kakashi’s ANBU team plus All The Baby ROOT Agents. This will be fun!

Team Ne is gonna bulldoze through a Senju patrol on their way out to the shore. Tobirama was not expecting a hostile Mokuton user to defend a couple of Uchiha and also the girl they were with broke a tree with her fist and then it melted. Team Ne is also going to trip over an Uchiha patrol and Itachi is high-key going to not!cry b/c Izuna looks hella like Mikoto/Sasuke and Itachi misses them. Shisui does a lot of high velocity absconding with his teammates come on ppl keep running pls. Izuna is so confused by tiny Uchiha not knowing who he is and running around with some random not!Uchiha WTH?

For max drama Team Ne will blast through a big battle, interrupt Hashirama and Madara’s posturing, accidentally save Izuna’s life (thanks, Shisui) and then bravely run away without ever slowing down. Senju and Uchiha call truce while they figure out WTF is up with those kids and track them down.

This team-up thing does give both sides a chance to see the “Hashirama And Madara Show” up close. Madara lovingly and eloquently details all the many and varied ways Hashirama is an idiot (it sounds an awful lot like Tobirama’s most uncharitable thoughts re. his brother. Only blunter.) Hashirama just laughs and agrees with Madara WTF Anija? The Hashirama does his best to hug Madara to death b/c they are apparently the cuddling type of sworn enemies (Izuna is horrified and so offended. He’s the only one allowed to snuggle the grumps out of Madara!) Izuna and Tobirama are the world’s most resentful team-up ever but they’re doing their v. best to keep their older bros apart b/c no, Anija, just no.

They find the Konoha camp b/c Tobirama is a stupidly strong sensor and Hashirama can tell where the trees got bent by Mokuton. They were not expecting to find nothing but children. Raido is the oldest and he’s only like 19-ish I think? Plus ROOT kiddos are suu~uuper creepy-tactic omg.

NOW BACK IT UP A LITTLE!!

SR timeskip mostly consists of Kakashi escaping his medic, making Obito panic, and bonding with the ROOT minions (this involves a lot of spitting on Danzo’s grave TBH. They all find it v. therapeutic.) The worst of the poison’s effects are being mitigated by Genma’s antidotes and Kabuto’s treatments but that’s just a delaying tactic to prevent total system shutdown so Team Ne really needed to hurry the fuck up.

Obito is A Mess b/c Zetsu/Danzo were just using him to hit Kakashi (just like the Iwa-nin who took Kakashi’s eye and you know that means something more to an Uchiha than the standard shinobi but Obito can't fix the poison damage from progressing though spontaneous organ donation.) Kakashi keeps Obito distracted and busy growing a fortified encampment for all his adorable new minions. Genma and Raido are just glad not to have the terrifying Uchiha powerhouse threatening to turn them inside out every 10 minutes thanks muchly.

Captain Wolf has already managed to take over as the focus of the ROOT agent’s personality cult. Obito is now the leading member of the Kakashi fan club (b/c Tenzo is off on the SR at the time, nat.) Genma and Raido are Concerned b/c Kakashi hasn’t been emotionally stable since he was 6 y/o there’s no way him being a role model for 100 brainwashed baby assassins will end well.

Anko thinks everything is hysterical and she’s so glad she stuck her nose in where it wasn’t wanted this is better than Icha Icha. Izumi’s just happy someone got her away from Danzo before he could fuck up her head/mess with her eyes too much. (This was the most horrible side effect of her betrothal to Itachi being announced how did Danzo even get her out of the compound FFS?)

11th hour arrival by Team Ne with the antidote means Rin, Genma, Kabuto, Obito, and Tenzo are all v. busy when the Uchiha/Senju combo team find the Konoha camp.

So then Kakashi wakes up after being cured and there’s more weirdness b/c Obito has both his eyes but Kakashi’s left eye is still red and works like a Sharingan but it isn’t a sharingan obvs. but they still share a field of vision and Obito’s left eye is silver when the sharingan is turned off and Rin is 100% done with both of them defying medical convention. There is a lot of head scratching and pointing of fingers before they hug it out is what I’m saying.

Team Ne thinks this is adorable and super romantic and the entire camp ships it so hard you have no idea. I might make this Rin Demi-Ace b/c then her crush on 9 y/o Kakashi when she’s 13 is much more understandable. (A squish just fits better to the situation IMHO.) Also ace!Rin would 100% be the one to join forces with bb!Kabuto to create (recreate? precreate?) Orochimaru’s test-tube-baby no jutsu in the WCE.

SRTS IS DONE NOW YAY NOW TO FUCK WITH THE FOUNDERS

Raido is A Wall and he never anticipated using his ANBU training to waylay the 1st and 2nd Hokage WTF is even his life but Teamwork! and TWOF means Standing Strong even if Uchiha Madara is Scary AF wow and Raido thought seeing Fugaku-dono walk into a room was bad.

Kakashi is cured (yay!) and also gets to arrive dramatically on the scene of confrontation and verbally bitchslap everyone into calming TF down b/c I Have A Headache And I’m Tired Of Your Shit. Rabidly overprotective ObiRin are rabid and overprotective. Also Obito is super Uncanny Valley b/c he looks just like Madara and Tobirama is busy having a heart attack b/c this “Captain” person has Itama’s eyes (red and grey) and Tenzo has Mokuton and is maybe reminding him too much of Kawarama and also Itachi has the same grump lines as Madara and Shisui has Izuna’s smile.

Yeah so everyone from the WCE is pretty much convinced that their “dead” siblings were kidnapped instead and the large number of Clan children Danzo kidnapped for ROOT doesn’t actually do much except convince them they’re right. Kakashi OFC decides to play along WTF you giant troll and what the Captain says goes so the tiny minions aren’t arguing and Genma’s like FFS it’s the WCE I want to live agree with the terrifying figures of legend already you idiots.

Note that at this point Obito is still gaslighted to believe that Madara wants world peace and no wars ever and irony at it’s best is that this iteration of Madara is still at the point in his life where he actually does still have solid moral objections to children dying b/c their Clan Leaders can’t keep a fucking peace treaty. So yeah.

Tobirama and Madara are in raptures over their “little brothers” still being alive and also found. Obito is v. affectionate b/c he “remembers” Madara. Shisui is also super cuddly. Itachi mostly just stares and is confused by human interaction. Kakashi is Fierce and nearly feral and makes Hashirama cry a bit and Tobirama is So Mad b/c Itama was a gentle boy what happened and Tenzo was Kinoe until literally just last week and he’s v. much not the happy kid Kawarama was.

So much jealousy when Kakashi lets Obito cuddle him. Kakashi Ignores Them and just keeps commanding everyone around while being princess carried by the homicidal Uchiha. Which... Obito having Mouton confuses the Senju team so much but Hashirama is so excited b/c Tenzo (”Kawarama!” / “My name is Tenzo, Senju-dono.”) has Mokuton too and now he has people to practice with!

So that whole thing where the Senju and the Uchiha HATE each other b/c dead kids gets massively derailed like whoa b/c look they’re alive and also someone else has been playing silly buggers to make all the Clans keep doing the War Things so. So the Senju and the Uchiha still don’t like each other much but they hate ROOT more. Zetsu circa. WCE finds it 111% impossible to manipulate things from behind the scenes b/c They’re On To Him.

So Konoha gets founded like 10 to 15 years earlier than in canon b/c none of the Konoha-nin are willing to leave their Captain and also strength in numbers b/c someone’s been stealing our babies is really up there so far as motivation to maintain cordial relations with other Ninja Clans goes. Other Clans joining Konoha happens both faster and with more issues b/c ROOT kids are many things but normally socialized is not one of them.

Do I hate Kakashi enough to make him Shodaime? TBH it’d be hella funny and the other Nations Are Not Prepared for trolling on Kakashi’s level even if it’s just baby troll Kakashi.

POLITICS and ninja diplomacy ensue.

TBH I just wanna see Tobirama slam Madara up against a wall and fuck him crosseyed. Hashirama was Not Emotionally Prepared to realize that his little brothers and their libidos were already acquainted. Izuna decides that Itachi is his favourite b/c Itachi’s the only one not fucking a Senju. (Joke’s on him though b/c both polyamory and Senju Toka are things that exist.)

Endgame is for TobiMada, ObiKakaRin, ShiTen, MitoHashi, TokaIzuKanna (Kanna is my OC stand-in for Izuna’s unnamed canonical wife), ItaIzumi, GenRai. Not sure that it’s much important b/c Romance not really a major plot point and also Kakashi is 14 y/o through this whole thing but also ninja mature quick so maybe it’s more important that I think it’s gonna be? I dunno whatevs guys that’s all I’ve got except for maybe some timestamps later.

Choosing in the sense??? Like protecting?? or As a person whom he wants to give his life for? As for the later, the answer is Obvious.

And In the Kage Summit Arc, Naruto rejected her proposal and said, “The Promise I made to you... It doesn’t have to do anything with this. I personally want to save Sasuke” and there lies his absolute priority!!!

There is this part of fandom that still believes Naruto's love of his life was Pinky. Like he would do anything for her to the extent of sprouting 9 tails if he saw her getting hurt. Like they apply this 'His body moved on its own' concept to Sakura. Anyways, there's no limit to their delusions.

[[I will agree with all my heart that in Pain Arc.... If Sakura jumped into save Naruto, he still would’ve sprouted 6 tails... Even for Konohamaru... ]]

Naruto is a person who cares about everyone. And hence he cares about Sakura too. Plus, he is the titular character. Obviously he can't be written as someone who would let a girl, especially his Team Mate, to suffer. [[That doesn't mean Sasuke was wrong... LOL... He was always right when it comes to treating Sakura]]

But still, I've seen many moments where Naruto has shown to prefer Sasuke over Sakura. Sorry, I take that back.... Was there ever a moment he preferred Sakura over Sasuke??? Here I am going to make some comparison between Forest of the Death Orochimaru vs Naruto and Gaara vs Naruto Battle and Itachi vs Sasuke in Part 1.

There is this unspoken rule in Narutoverse where you awaken New Powers or your body move on its own or you react strongly.... If you see your loved one suffer.

Let’s be generous and consider Naruto’s love of his life was Pinky. Again.... Am just being generous.... Having said that!!!!

Body Moving on it’s own!!!

Gaara is approaching to attack Sakura and Sasuke. Sakura tried to stand upto him... Because she wants to protect her beloved Sasuke-Kun. Sigh!!

Similarly Orochimaru is approaching to attack Sasuke.....

But somehow

Naruto’s body didn’t move on its own for Pinky for some reason... Well, I understand he was already terrified of Gaara. But still Naruto could’ve run towards her. Well, now that I come to think of, Naruto actually went into rage in the Forest of the death because Sasuke was acting like a coward. Why didn’t he snap here???

However,

Naruto’s body did moved here on it’s own before Orochimaru to protect Sasuke.

Also with Gaara.

Logically, Orochimaru’s Snake and Gaara are not very different... Both were some kind of monsters.

Why Naruto didn’t get into an extreme rage for Pinky????? His love of his life was pinned over there, Wasn’t she?

Reawakening / Awakening Powers

The hard rule of this section is... The strong love you feel for a person is directly proportional to the amount of power you exert from your body!!!!

In order to save Sakura from Gaara,

Naruto was trying to summon Gamabunta Toad here... For that he requires Kyuubi Chakra as well.

Well, He really couldn’t exert his Kyuubi Chakra here!!!!

However,

When Itachi easily blocked Sasuke’s Chidori,

Naruto could able to pull out Kyuubi’s Chakra instantly!!!!! Because he can’t tolerate to see Sasuke getting beaten up.

Why is it that Naruto could able to bring out his hidden powers for Sasuke but not for the Love of his Life, Pinky?? You could argue that Naruto was scared of Gaara and hence he couldn’t do anything. I would say the same for Itachi’s case as well.

Naruto was shit scared on seeing 2 big guys appeared before him and asking him to come out!!!!

Well, this is not the only time.

When Naruto got some courage and decided to fight back Gaara, he was still doubtful though, “I don’t know how far I can go or how much I can do but.... I’m gonna give it everything I’ve got”

So, according to Naruto’s words, he gave everything he got at this moment!!!!!!

He made made some Kage Bunshins to attack Gaara and he successfully attached the Paper Bomb behind him and blew him up. Good!!

And yet,

When Sasuke trusted Naruto and asked him to save Sakura....

Naruto could produce 1000 Kage Bunshins!!!!

So, the suffering of the Love of his life couldn’t evoke such power in Naruto but Sasuke’s entrusted words could???? Puhhhlease!!!!! Cut this ‘Love of his Life’ shit out!!!!

I don’t know which trope the following scenes comes under, this is after that pathetic fake proposal Pinky did to Naruto.

When Naruto hears about Sakura’s going to die

Logically Naruto knew Sakura is not a match for anyone in Team 7. Kakashi was clearly saying out loud that, “She’s no match for Sasuke. It’s a death trap”....

Kakashi was very desperate to go and save Sakura which is evident from this panel, as he should be. Why couldn’t Naruto show the same desperation to go save Pinky???? Yes, I know his mind got drifted off and is wandering somewhere else. But still after hearing that his supposed Love of his Life’s possible death... must have triggered some response. And yet, why couldn’t he???

When Someone tried to kill Sakura

And then this ROFL panel.

It’s totally cool to be happy that the ‘supposed’ enemy was trying to kill his Love of the Life... Totally Cool...

Because from what I’ve seen so far, when someone tries to hurt their loved one, the very usual dialogue was, ‘I won’t let you lay a finger on her!!’.... But this is another form of love where Naruto was complimenting his Enemy ‘Sasuke’ that, ‘I’m Happy I knew You’...... Amazing ship!!!!

When Naruto hears Sasuke will be killed

This is when he hears his classmates will deal with Sasuke by killing him. This reaction is very similar, no.... more intense than how he reacted for Jiraiya’s death.

This is when Gaara warns him that he will kill Sasuke if he associates himself with Akatsuki. Naruto couldn’t even tolerate this news. He is totally heartbroken.

Well, This is it!!!! He totally breaks down after hearing that everyone’s going to kill Sasuke.

Funny thing is, Naruto is going full-on Angst over a situation that might happen in the future... I repeat Future!!! But Naruto was not even bothered to react for the present danger that awaits for PinkTrash. Somehow, Naruto was worried about the Future Tense to Present Tense!!!!!

Why couldn’t he react the same for his ‘supposed’ Love of his Life???? Alright, no need for him to go to the hyperventilation level reaction ... But atleast a desperation or a mild shock????

Naruto/Pinky Shippers usually claim that Bridge scene as theirs.... Just like those delusional SS peeps. The way Naruto saved Sakura is similar to the way Minato saved Kushina from Obito. I agree, It looks similar.

But how could they not notice certain things which is mandatory for a strong ship?? And they call this scene Romantic!!!! God!!!

And then they make this crazy parallel which screams ‘delusional’!!!!

Yes, they look similar!!!!! But, Minato was giving off a Death Glare at Obito!!!!!! That’s why his face was lined off..... Whereas Naruto was just looking at Sasuke.... There was no murder intent or anything....

But they fail to make certain parallels which I will do for them, considering the entire context... Because this is what I would expect if I ever ship NS.

Just notice what’s happening in these panels!!! Minato was seen comforting Kushina.

Could you find any difference between the last 2 pictures????

YES, The Eye Contact!!!!!!!!

Where is the fucking eye contact between Naruto and Pinky????? Minato was comforting Kushina that Naruto is safe.... He was always looking at her and worried about her.... Whereas Naruto was looking somewhere else!!! The moment Naruto’s eyes locked with Sasuke’s eyes... they never took their eyes off each other..... Especially Naruto...... He was always looking at Sasuke until the moment Sasuke left with Obito.... Even Sasuke was also staring at Naruto, the whole time.

Why couldn’t Naruto ask the Love of his Life, ‘Are you alright???’... Is it very difficult???

Making parallels are okay!!!! But it should also suit the context!!! By that logic, I can also make parallels saying, Naruto is sitting in this panel.... Sasuke is also sitting in a panel... So they love each other so much!!!! Can I???

Another Power Awakening!!!

Like I said earlier, when you desperately want to save your loved one, you awaken new powers or your body move on it’s own!!!

This is a famous SNS scene where Sasuke ignores Pinky and Kakashi and saves only Naruto, when everyone was about to fall into the Lava Pit!!. But funny thing to notice is that Naruto was asking Sasuke to save them... which is absolutely fine!!!! For now, I mean. (Why didn’t his body move on it’s own here? Why is he asking Sasuke to do it??)

Again, after sometime, everyone was about to fall into the pit!!!! Including Sasuke and Naruto.... Naruto notices Sasuke’s Chakra points were sealed off...

Aaaaand then, Poof!!!!!

Naruto awakened his Levitating power and saved everyone!!!!

I am not claiming it as an SNS scene. Naruto loves everyone in his Team. But it’s an undeniable fact that when Sasuke’s safety was involved, Naruto becomes extremely desperate and would go to an extreme extent enough to awaken new powers.

Naruto could’ve easily awakened this power or Kishi should’ve made him to awaken this power to save Pinky and Kakashi before!!!

So, Stop with this nonsensical claims like Naruto’s Love of his Life was Pinky!!!!

Anyways, to conclude...

Naruto is a nice and naive person. He was nice to her as a Team Mate and cared about her a lot. That’s all. Even if you put Ino there, he still would have cared equally. It’s not that Pinky is super special.

If Naruto prefers Sakura, then he should have followed her desperately like Kakashi to not get killed by Sasuke in the Kage Summit Arc.

If Naruto prefers Sakura, he should’ve accepted her proposal. Because deep down he clearly knew she always loved Sasuke. I sincerely think he was just playing around by asking her for Dates, just like he did in Chapter 3.

If Naruto prefers Sakura, he should’ve beaten Sasuke into a Pulp for trying to hurt her!!

Naruto awakened Kyuubi Chakra for the first time for Sasuke. He trained with Jiraiya for Sasuke. He developed a new jutsu for Sasuke. He decided to control Kyuubi Chakra to fight and save Sasuke. Naruto didn’t awaken any new powers for Pinky!!! In fact, No one has awakened any powers for her. That tells her importance to the story!!!

Even at the end of 699, Naruto met Sasuke alone to say his Farewell, because he keeps Sasuke above Kakashi and Pinky.

Pinky’s life in danger doesn’t evoke the same reaction as he gives off for Sasuke.

It was Sasuke’s acknowledgement he always wanted, not Sakura’s. Well, this trash never acknowledged him anyway... There’s that. Also according to Haku’s words, “If someone who acknowledged you from the bottom of their heart appeared, wouldn’t that someone become the most important person to you?”...

Naruto’s two most important people are Iruka and Sasuke!!!

So, when it comes to Sasuke and Pinky, Naruto would always prefer Sasuke.

P.S. This is a very short chapter, but consider this "earlier than expected" (by several, several weeks) which is better than waiting!

Pairing: SasuSaku

Summary: After 2 years, Sasuke returns to the village where friends anxiously await him. Still troubled by the mysteries of Kaguya and his personal guilt, Sasuke is split between friends and his journey. One specific pink-haired individual has perhaps waited for him with far more dedication than anyone else. Troubled by rising casualties and international dependence on her abilities, Sakura is torn between her love for Sasuke and her duty to her village.

(Chapter 6) (Chapter 1)

Chapter 7: "The Past"

Sakura looked at him blankly, then returned her attention to her tea. She took a long drink, swallowing the liquid heavily and sighed.

Sasuke waited. He was hoping that she would agree to his terms. He couldn't give her the happiness she wanted—or deserved for that matter. How much easier her life would be if she tried to move on. If she found happiness with someone else, Sasuke wouldn't have to feel guilty anymore.

After a minute, Sakura met his eyes with just as much boldness as he had looked at her a second ago. "I'm sorry Sasuke. I would rather you ignore me than admit that I would give up on you. For as long as you care for me, I will wait."

Irritation like a developing fire burned throughout his body and in order to calm himself, Sasuke took a long drink of the medicinal tea before saying, "What makes you think I care for you? I tried to kill you. And have done much more, since then."

That statement didn't have the desired effect like he had hoped. She only continued to stare at him squarely and asked, "Did I not try to kill you first?"

"You didn't go through with it," he dismissed her. "I was prepared to kill you. I wouldn't have pulled back, Sakura. If it weren't for Kakashi and Naruto—" he looked away, too ashamed to look at her.

That day burned a hole in his memory and he hated to recall it. It was one of the days that Sasuke regretted most and appeared often in his nightmares. Not only did he fully intend to kill Karin, that day, but Sakura, Naruto, and Kakashi, too. He had wanted them all dead. It didn't matter to him that he had once had bonds with them. At that time, all Sasuke could see was his goal of destroying the leaf village and everyone in it. Sakura had arrived right before he was about to send a chidori through the red-haired kunoichi from team Taka, whom he had sacrificed in order to kill Danzo. Although it was a ploy to kill him, Sakura had arrived on the scene, begging to join him in his quest for revenge. He had demanded for her to kill Karin in order to gain his trust, but he ended up aiming a chidori at Sakura's back instead. Fortunately, Kakashi had followed her and stopped him before he could deliver the blow. After battling with his former sensei, his vision suddenly had failed and Sakura had used the opportunity to strike him. She had paused, unable to commit herself to go through with killing him. At the time, he had considered her weak, and in his hatred, had grabbed her by the neck, stealing her kunai and aiming it at her. If Naruto hadn't jumped in, she would be dead. He undoubtedly would have killed her. If neither of them had interfered, Sasuke wouldn't be sitting here, talking to her, eating the food and drinking the tea that Saskura had made him.

He placed his forehead in his palm at the thought. What would he be doing now, if she had been killed by his hand?

A small weight rested on his shoulder, and with her comforting hand, came her reply. "You've already apologized for your past. There's no need to bring it up, now. You're not that person anymore. You're the Sasuke I remember."

Lifting his head, he widened his eyes and pulled away from her touch, snapping, "And you're naïve. What reason have I given you to make you believe that? What makes you so sure, to dismiss everything I've done despite my pathetic apology to you?"

She pulled her arm back towards her own body, saying, "For starters, you saved Chino and her followers from the path of revenge. But that's not all. You're doing so much for the village just by investigating Kaguya."

He remained silent, staring down at his fisted hand around the cup, forcing it to relax. How could she possibly use those actions to justify everything? Why couldn't she just hate him? That's what he deserved. Despite taking a journey to atone for his sins, Sasuke still felt undeserving of the love that his friends had for him. Even though he had changed drastically, becoming more like his former self, Sasuke kept seeing his sins as unforgivable.

Interrupting his thoughts, Sakura suddenly added, "You also came for me."

"What?" he asked, completely unaware what she was talking about.

"Try to deny it all you want, but I saw you that day. The day that Kido kidnapped me. You came to save me."

Sasuke found himself suddenly remembering another day. He had been receiving rumors that he had been recently sighted dealing with missing-nin in order to devise a plot against the Konohagakure, but didn't think twice about it. He hadn't done such a thing and he would leave it to the Leaf to handle things on their own. He was just a few steps away from getting closer to the time-space dimension where Kaguya had once resided, that he'd be damned if something came up now to distract him. Just before he was about to use the Rinnegan, he saw an unfamiliar hawk flying towards him in the distance. As he had reached up with his arm, the bird landed firmly and Sasuke retrieved and read the note it was carrying. Someone named Kido claimed to be holding Sakura as a hostage, threatening to kill her if he didn't make an appearance in the village. Sasuke had clutched the note and his hands had gone white. He had cursed, spun on his heel, and had never taken flight as swiftly as he did in that moment.

Arriving on the scene that day, Sasuke encountered several Anbu who were fleeing from the village, headed in his direction. Sasuke had noticed tailed beast chakra surrounding them and instantly used his Fire Release to encircle them in a ring of fire. Coming through the flames, Sharingan activated, the Uchiha had placed them all under a genjutsu. By using the Sharingan, Sasuke was able to acquire the information he wanted. They had all been Kido's subordinates and he watched their memories play out, learning of Kido's plan to use Sasuke for his Sharingan drug, the tailed-beast chakra capsules, and Sakura's capture. He had grabbed one of the men by the collar, roughly pulling him in closer as he watched the man's memories of Sakura play in his mind. Sasuke saw what they had said to her, how they had caught her, and watched as a copy of himself walked up to her and mocked her on Kido's orders. It was hard to finish watching the memories play out after that, but he allowed it to continue, soon finding relief in them as he watched Sakura escape and take Kido on, herself. He re-lived this particular man's panic as Kido's subordinates got the alarm that Kido's chakra had suddenly diminished which indicated his defeat, cueing their flight from the village.

After this, Sasuke had released the man, catching a feel of his former teammates' chakra coming towards him, including Sakura's. She had been alive and Sasuke couldn't help but feel foolish for not having enough faith in her abilities. He had shown up to save her, only to find that he had not been needed after all. He had been relieved but annoyed at the same time, having left Kaguya's trail. Knowing that Sakura was well and safe, he didn't waste a second, bounding off into the woods once again in search for what he had left behind.

Leaning his head back, Sasuke drank the last of the tea, resigning himself to the last of its calming effects. After a minute, he said, "You saved yourself. I did nothing for you."

She was smiling again, and Sasuke wondered if it was because she knew he couldn't back his way out of this one. Finally, she said, "Even though you were a little late, you still came. This is how I know you care."

His eyes widened slightly and he turned to look at her. Was that why he had gone after her? Yes, he had been worried for her and Sasuke couldn't help but admit to himself that the bonds he had once had with his friends, he was trying to restore on some level. Yes, Sasuke supposed he could say with honesty that he cared for them now, like he had used to before being consumed in darkness. He couldn't exactly say he would be in this very room, if he didn't. But if he confirmed that now, admitting this to Sakura, he knew she would never stop waiting for him. He couldn't have that. So instead, he said absolutely nothing.

"There's one other thing, that has given me hope," she said with a smile, leaning towards him. Before he could even ask, he felt a small tap on his forehead and a small breath escaped him as her fingers pulled away from his forehead. She stood then, grabbing the empty cups from the table, laughing at Sasuke's expression of shock. She walked away from him, leaving Sasuke to rub his forehead and revisit the hundreds of memories that came with the familiar gesture.

A scene came to his mind. Leaving the village had been easy, but saying goodbye to his friends had been a little more difficult. Sakura had once again expressed her desire to go with him on his journey, looking embarrassed and afraid of rejection. Sasuke had told her that she had nothing to do with his sins, and of course she had been disheartened. In that moment, he had walked up to her and poked her forehead, reassuring her that he would be back soon.

Ah, he thought. He supposed he was making a habit of using that gesture with her. Well, he would have to be less transparent with her in the future. He sighed, hoping that wouldn't be too hopeless.

Sasuke roused to the sound of loud banging and without realizing exactly where he was, he threw the mass that was on top of him away from him and reached out in the dark for his katana. Grabbing firmly onto the sword's hilt, he aimed it towards the direction of the noise. After a hazy second of confusion, Sasuke realized he was in Sakura's living room, having just jumped off the couch and practically destroyed the blankets and pillows that were now sprawled across the room. As the day's previous memories returned to him, he snapped his head towards the source of the jarring noise and realized it was coming from the door.

"Sakura-san! Sakura-san! Are you in there?!," someone yelled from outside, pounding as if they could break the door down.

Sasuke moved angrily towards the door in his stupor, wondering why someone would be creating such an uproar in the middle of the night like this. Just as he was about to throw open the door and aim his sword in their direction, Sakura came bursting out from the bedroom down the hall.

"What is it?! What's going on?!" she demanded as she ran towards him, wrapping a cloak firmly around herself to conceal her nightclothes. Sasuke was instantly released from his leftover sleep when he saw this, looking immediately away from her.

The noise came again, along with the frantic shouting, "Sakura-san! Hello?! Damn it!"

Sasuke was right behind her whenever Sakura's hand finally made connection with the door's handle and he watched as she threw open the door to reveal a young ninja dressed in the standard medic colors of cream and red.

"Oh, thank goodness," the man exclaimed at the sight of her, panting heavily.

"Fumio?" Sakura gasped, "What in the world is going on?"

The man faulted in his frantic breathing for a second when he suddenly noticed Sasuke's glare over Sakura's shoulder. Reflecting on it later, Sasuke supposed he did look rather severe with his weapon drawn and his face expressing his extreme desire to punch this man in the face.

The ninja redirected his attention back to Sakura and remembering his panic, managed to stumble out, "There's been an emergency. We need you, immediately."

"Go," Sakura demanded, speaking in an authoritative voice that Sasuke didn't recognize. "I'll be right behind you! You can update me on the way."

She didn't even take a second to close the door before she was running back down the corridor towards her bedroom, nearly giving Sasuke whip-lash as he tried to follow her movements.

"Sasuke," he heard her call from the bedroom, "I don't have time to be formal with you, right now, so I'll just say it."

Sasuke made to move down the hall towards her voice but stopped when she retreated from the bedroom, now clad in her medical garb. She took his arm and pushed something cold into his palm. He raised his hand and unwrapped his fingers, finding himself looking down at a small silver key.

"I want you to stay here while you are in Konoha," she said resolutely.

Sasuke's eyes widened and he instantly thrusted the key back at her but she had already walked past him and was now proceeding to slip on her shoes by the door.

"No—" Sasuke began seriously, about to tell her that he couldn't—wouldn't—didn't want to stay here. He had just stayed the one night because of the storm and that was all. He didn't manage to speak a word of this before Sakura interrupted him.

"Look," she said, slipping on her lab coat that had been hanging next to her red rain jacket. "This is an offer with no strings attached. I understand you are leaving and you don't plan to stay. But for as long as you are in the village, let me help you as a friend."

She turned to face him then, using one second of her time to level him with her determined demeanor.

Before Sasuke could register what she had said, the door was slammed as Sakura made her hurried exit. Looking down at his palm again, he sighed and fisted the key.

Damn it.

“why people shouldn’t hate Sakura”

As much as I like Swagkage ‘s videos and his opinions, this was not really something I agree with. I don’t agree with a lot of his videos, but this one has some completely unjustified reasons to hate Sakura. I didn’t want to comment on the video itself because of the annoying fanboys, plus this is going to be long. I like Sakura to an extent and I hate it when people blindly hate her for no reason, hence this post.

I will try my best to keep my personal bias from affecting this response and look at it more objectively so bear with me. I will also criticise her character on some aspects because I do agree with some of the facts that he has brought up in the video.

He starts off by comparing her to Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi which is ridiculous in its own right because (a.) Sakura comes from a civilian family and (b.) she never had a special power up to begin with. He then proceed to compare her with her other classmates which is also ridiculous because all of them come from clans with their own special ability. She’s practically a nobody when it comes to the shinobi world, somebody humane as compared to others. People seem to give her very little credit considering all of that.

Then he continues to say that she doesn’t do much in part 1 except stand around, which I agree with. But when he just glosses over the fact that she managed to watch over Sasuke and Naruto while they were unconscious in the Forest of Death. Like what else could she possibly do? The girl was doing her best out there! The fact that she was able to stand up to the other genin is a great step for her character. But because she didn’t win against these genin, being outnumbered and also not having special abilities like they do, people would just be like “LOL useless!1!!!” But can they not see what this means for her growth? She did something she couldn’t have ever done before!

He talked about how her other classmates had to help her like it was something negative. Of course she needed help. She was outnumbered and was facing overpowered enemies! He talked about how Sasuke effortlessly “wiped the floor” by defeating the ninjas “effortlessly”, but he was ridiculously over powered by Orochimaru’s curse mark!

Then he talks about how Naruto and Sasuke made it to the finals of the chunin exam while Sakura couldn’t beat Ino, the weakest person in the room. While I agree this fight wasn’t as fun to watch as the others, but Sakura was always behind Ino, who again was from the Yamanaka clan. The point of this fight was that she caught up to Ino and how much she had grown. Granted, it wasn’t a huge step forward, but for Sakura, as in individual, it meant a lot.

For the Konoha invasion arc, he points out how Sasuke and Naruto learn Chidori and summoning respectively, but that’s because of their possession of the Sharingan and the Nine-Tails chakra respectively, as well as them getting specialised training from their teachers while Sakura had nobody. (I’m actually blaming Kishi for this one lol) But at least she showed her genjutsu smarts (which was abandoned in the story altogether later on).

“In the Sasuke Retrieval arc, after begging Naruto to bring Sasuke back to the village, completely disregarding how horribly she treated Naruto in the past...”

Right. Imma stop you there. By this point of time, Sakura had started respecting and treating Naruto well. Scratch that, since the first round of Chunin exams when she was willing to give up on behalf of Naruto so that he could achieve his dream. This is what bothers me about the fandom. They paint Sakura as some selfish bitch who absolutely loathed Naruto when this was far from the case.

But I can’t argue that she should’ve done something to contribute in the arc (aside from that confession, which was pretty selfish as well because there was more “I” to her words than “us” but I’m salty about SS as a whole so yeah). Again, blaming Kishi for shoving aside Sakura when there was a good opportunity for her to do something at the end of part 1.

He appreciates her in the start of part 2, which nobody can deny. But then goes on to say that she accomplished nothing in the rest of the series. Okay, maybe she didn’t accomplish a lot, but nothing? Come on man.

[Referring to the Orochimaru hideout chapters] “But as soon as she meets Sasuke, everything goes downhill for her.”

Yeah, can’t argue with that lol.

[Referring to Pain’s Invasion arc and how every other side character was useful except Sakura] “...Sakura is left crying and screaming for Naruto to come back home...despite the fact that she refuses to lift a finger against [Pain]....[goes on to praise Hinata for risking her life]...Sakura does nothing...”

Nothing? Nothing?? Is single handedly defeating one of Pain’s summonings nothing? Is saving the life of a child and her grandma nothing? Is tending to the injured, thereby saving their lives, nothing? Is healing Hinata after her battle with Pain nothing? Okay.

He then criticises her for not activating the hundred seals to save everybody’s lives because she was a “wimp”. While this can be considered a plothole, but it is sort of implied that one needs to reach a certain level of chakra that they have stored in order to activate the seal. So how could she have done that considering she didn’t have that much chakra? And wasn’t she already healing injured people in the hospital or did you just miss that panel entirely?

Anyway, this is getting long and I have only just covered half of the video. But all in all, he keeps comparing her to Naruto and Sasuke, which frankly isn’t justified because Naruto is the (advertised) main protagonist while Sasuke is the second (actual) protagonist which drives part 2. I agree that she she could’ve achieved more in the screen time she had but that’s because being the heroine, she was faced the most with Kishi’s poor treatment of female characters. The hate is sometimes justified, but other times the hate is just there because they have to hate Sakura.

I’m gonna make more posts on this later on, but for now I think this is enough.

Also, it seems like he still hates Sakura because just just look at her, she hasn't really changed. Her dynamic with Sasuke hasn't really changed. She gives chase, Sasuke ignores. Except Sasuke looks more depressed.

Hey, after fifteen years of us chasing after the story and characters we invested in so much, at least give us some indication that they are least happy after sooo many sacrifices, like they deserve that happiness.

But no, if anything, they seem totally miserable. What made Kishi do that? Yes, he can't show them ooc, but Sasuke marrying Sakura is already ooc. Naruto being a bad father is already ooc. Like why go to the extent of showing Sasuke trying not to touch Sakura and pointedly showing that they never kissed? That's just like a determined effort on Kishi's part to show that their marriage is not working. Naruto works way more than any of his predecessors and sleeps in the office or couch so as not to disturb Hinata, when Hinata is specifically designed to accommodate anything that Naruto might require.

Don't get me wrong, I think Boruto is trash. But I am still in interested in SNS in Boruto because that's still canon. Just makes me wonder how Kishi will finally conclude SNS, because their bond still shows clearly in Boruto. Do you think he will kill them any time soon?

Before answering this, I am going to tell you that I don’t watch Boruto. But I know what happened so far, vaguely. Like, Gaiden arc, Karma seal, Kawaki adoption, Kurama’s death, loss of Rinnegan, Time travel arc. Anyways, I might have missed many interactions between Sasuke & Sakura in the filler episodes or other canonical episodes. I would be happy If you send me an episode list or timestamps in where they interact, so that it saves my time instead of me, watching that entire shit show.

So does Kishi officially hate NH and SS?

In this post, I dissected SS from a non-SNS perspective. It seems Kishi went all out of his way to make their interactions too insincere, blunt and toxic. I mean Sasuke’s absolute lack of interest in her was very evident even until chapter 693. That is right before, their final VoTE fight. And even after Sakura comes to heal their injuries, he just said ‘Ummmm..... I guess Sorry’...

Kishi could have made Sasuke say some corny shit to Sakura like how he felt bad inside for hurting her, how he missed her, wiping her tears or whatever (Puke!!!! 🤮🤮🤮). Because in the previous chapter, Sasuke basically confessed to Naruto internally about how he felt about Naruto when he was a child. Kishi could have done the same for Sakura in just 4, 5 panels. But anyways, my point is, Kishi’s moment to salvage that ship is chapter 699.

But he didn’t.

Did Kishi tried to build their bond after marriage?

He definitely could’ve. But he didn’t.

This shows his clear distaste in SS.

As for NH, Kishi is indifferent. He neither hates them nor loves them. Kishi created Hinata as a pairing fodder and she still is.

Also, it seems like he still hates Sakura because just just look at her, she hasn't really changed. Her dynamic with Sasuke hasn't really changed. She gives chase, Sasuke ignores. Except Sasuke looks more depressed.

Hmmm, I don’t know whether Sasuke hates her, anon. Again, maybe I’ve missed those parts. But when he looks at her, it’s always filled with regrets and an urge to avoid her (like Itachi avoided Sasuke, but for totally sad and genuine reasons).

But this again begs the question, ‘Why feeling regret or hesitant even after 12 years?’.

Believe me anon, Love/Bonds/Understanding can happen at anytime of your life. From where I come from, not everyone marries out of love. Arranged marriages are common. But still, many couples make effort and work out their difference, and find love. Kishi could’ve done the same for SS too.

Is Sasuke that heartless? No.

He was once a boy who bear hugged his brother every time Itachi comes back from the Academy. Itachi’s presence itself made Sasuke so happy.

Did he become heartless after the massacre? Also no.

Even after the trauma, Sasuke just became aloof and cold. But he always becomes a child who can pout, be silly, becomes animated, bicker around Naruto. So, he can be lovely, but only around the people he choose by himself.

Still, Sakura is not that person. So, he looks like he is depressed and wants to escape from her at any given chance because of a certain guilt.

What made Kishi do that? Yes, he can't show them ooc, but Sasuke marrying Sakura is already ooc. Naruto being a bad father is already ooc. To answer, this goes way back, anon.

Kishi is a person who prefers to write love through intense friendship, sensei-student dynamics and brotherhood. He can occasionally write cute and sweet romance but it can only be short like 2 or 3 pages... or a chapter, max. He can’t go on doing it for 70 chapters for romance. Which was evident from Minato & Kushina, Dan & Tsunade, Obito & Rin.

But the real deal of Naruto manga is the bond between Naruto and Sasuke. The bond between Itachi and Sasuke also played a huge role in this series. And then comes Hashirama and Madara, Jiraiya and Naruto, Kakshi and Obito, Kakashi and Naruto and many more. So, Kishi pretty much gave an ending he wanted for a long time in chapter 699. He successively pulled off a great manga without corny and shitty romance but with just friendship and brotherhood alone. He didn’t give two shits about NH or SS before chapter 700.

Naruto series’ another success lies on it’s characters tragic backstories. I simply loved them all and most of them made me cry.

Kishi wanted to move on from Naruto.

But then Money played a big part. Naruto series can be milked in a lot of ways. Editors wanted all the characters to become some baby making dolls. So you have to create pairings. Based on the popularity polls, they decided NH and SS.

In my opinion, Sasuke is a goal-oriented person. He is a wanderer who works on his own accords. Ever since he left Konoha when he was 13, that was his path, so you can’t make him stay in one place. At every stage of his life, he had different goals.

At age 8-15, he had one goal. To kill Itachi. Can he have a romance here? Nope.

At age 16, his goal is to destroy Konoha. No chance of romance in that dark path.

At age 17, he wanted to Revolutionize the shinobi system. Since he wanted to be alone for that goal, no possibility of romance.

At age 18, he adopted Naruto’s dream as his own. To make all shinobi cooperate and look out for Kaguya remains. Romance cannot happen here as he was constantly wandering around and he prefers to work alone.

This is how Kishi designed Sasuke’s character throughout.

Now all of a sudden, if you ask Kishi to go OOC by asking him to write corny romance for his favorite character Sasuke just for the sake of making him relevant to Boruto series, what will he do?

Since Boruto is a series which is a sequel to Naruto, you pretty much know everyone’s backstory. Those 12 year old New Gen kids possibly can’t have tragic stories like Naruto or Sasuke.

Kishi being a troller, used this opportunity to create a piss poor sob story for Sarada by making Sasuke as an absentee father and an unloving husband.

He created a sad story for Sarada and he gets to shit on SS ship. Two birds, One stone!!!!

Now, Sasuke being an unloving husband is OOC ? Nope. He was never a marriage material in the first place. So he is perfectly in-character.

Sasuke being an absentee father is OOC? No and Yes. No, because it’s the effect of the cause I mentioned above. Yes, because unlike Naruto, Sasuke once had a father. He can try to reach her out now and often. but he prefers not to do instead he cares more about Boruto. LOL.

Sasuke being not family oriented is OOC? Nope. He is a goal oriented person. His goal is same as Naruto’s dream. He will go to any extent to fulfill it, even at the expense of his family’s happiness. Because that’s what he learnt from Itachi. What Itachi taught him was, even at the expense of his own happiness and Sasuke’s trauma, he preferred Konoha and Shinobi World’s peace. That’s what Sasuke is doing now.

Naruto works way more than any of his predecessors and sleeps in the office or couch so as not to disturb Hinata, when Hinata is specifically designed to accommodate anything that Naruto might require.

As for Naruto,

I think it’s very funny. And I guess, I know why.

Just like Sasuke, Naruto is also a goal oriented person.

Remember, in that Boruto movie, Sasuke knocks Naruto’s door at the midnight?

Imagine if Naruto opened the door.

Sasuke will be like, ‘Alright mothafucka!!! I wanted to die in the VoTE itself. You wanted me in your dream world. Am working my ass off for your stupid dreams and trying to reach you without even meeting my own family. And yet here you are, sleeping well and sound. Am just gonna Chidori you!!!’ LOL.

I think you get my point.

If you make Sasuke to be an hardworker, then Naruto must work even hard to fulfill his dream. So you possibly can’t have Naruto playing duet with Himata or whatever trash.

So kishi pulled his Two birds, One Stone for NH here!!!

In short, Kishi gets to make his New generation shine through this pathetic sob stories and at the same time, kept his favorite characters without going OOC.

So, it’s a polite way of Kishi showing middlefinger to SS and NH for making him do this. He is saying, ‘Alright folks, you wanted this all along. But this is what you will get!!!’.

Just makes me wonder how Kishi will finally conclude SNS, because their bond still shows clearly in Boruto. Do you think he will kill them any time soon?

I think about this all the time. How will they end?? How will they die??

Now, don’t think I am some sadist for wanting them to die. I am just being practical and honest here. This is a new generation series. Of course, at some point, Naruto and Sasuke has to die for the sake of character development. And I will be happy if they die because I don’t like their miserable portrayal in Boruto at all.

Naruto series has a pattern when it comes to death portrayal. Meaningful characters (except Neji) always die protecting someone/something they cherish. Jiraiya died for Naruto, Yahiko died for Konan & Nagato, Itachi died for Sasuke & Konoha, Haku died for Zabuza, Obito (younger) died for Kakashi & Rin and so on.

Ever since Naruto became Hokage, his death is pretty much plastered on his head. He will die protecting Konoha just like all the Hokages from First to Fourth who sacrificed their life for Konoha.

But Sasuke???

I am going to say he will die protecting Naruto or the village. But for Naruto mostly. Either way, Sasuke will die first.

Dying for Naruto, the reasons are crystal clear. He already died protecting Naruto once in the Zabuza arc. He will never hesitate to do it again. Which was evident from the way he told Naruto in the Boruto movie while giving his Susanoo, ‘If they capture the real you, then everything is gone’. Somewhere in Boruto Manga chapter 38 (I don’t remember properly), Sasuke was yelling at Naruto, ‘If you are gone, it’s pretty hopeless’ and was praying ‘Naruto, don’t you die’.

So it’s pretty much Sasuke saying to Naruto, ‘I’ll protect you, You protect everyone’

But why the village?? Why will Sasuke die for Konoha which caused him so much pain?? I know anti-konoha stans wont like this, but that’s the reality.

It seems many Sasuke fans never paid attention to his character. After hearing the story from all the Hokages, Sasuke said, ‘I will not let Itachi’s life and this village into nothing’. He really meant it. Because for Sasuke, Itachi was more precious. Itachi died saying, ‘I’ll have protected my village as Uchiha Itachi of Konoha once again. I have no more regrets’. Sasuke wanted to respect his brother’s wish finally and that’s why he openly claimed in the battlefield, ‘I am going to protect Konoha and become it’s Hokage’. Sasuke’s another precious person is Naruto. He is the Hokage now.

Don’t you think Sasuke will die protecting something Itachi and Naruto values so much??

He even claimed it openly in Boruto Manga. ‘I would die anytime for Konoha, as has your dad (Naruto)’

Sasuke even said to Boruto, “I will stop you even if I have to kill you”. And do you think Sasuke is just pouring out some empty words??? Sasuke will not let Boruto to turn into an Otsutsuki monster and destroy the village.

Like I said, Sasuke will go out first. And eventually Naruto will follow him. Or they both die protecting the village together. I don’t see them dying for their wives or children. Because, their relationship with their family is not too strong and their ambitions are far beyond their own families.

Maybe for this reason, Kishi is trolling NH and SS in Boruto. LOL.

Naruto’s bond with Sasuke was formed even before his birth, when Kushina asked the 3 month old Baby Sasuke to be friends with Naruto.

However, One thing is for sure. One will not live very long without the Other or Both will die together. That’s how their bond should end.
