Celebrating a Milestone: Over 20,000 Sales and 10,000 Five-Star Reviews on my Etsy Shop: Flower Therapy Healer Shaina Tranquilino December 31, 2023
Tumblr media
www.etsy.com/shop/flowertherapyhealer What a blessing and a great way to end the year for me! To have reached this incredible milestone of over 20,000 sales and 10,000 five-star reviews on my Etsy shop. It's truly a humbling experience to see the impact my distant energy healing services have had on so many lives. When I first started my Etsy shop offering distant energy healing services, I had no idea what the future would hold. I knew that I wanted to share my passion for energy healing with others and provide them with a way to experience its profound benefits, even from afar. Little did I know that this humble beginning would lead me to where I am today - celebrating such an extraordinary achievement.
To all my distant energy healing clients, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Your trust in me and willingness to explore the possibilities of remote healing has been the driving force behind this success. Each sale and every positive review is a testament to the transformational experiences you've had through my services, and it fills my heart with joy knowing that I've made a difference in your lives.
Energy healing is not always easy to understand or accept for some people. The concept of receiving healing energies from a distance can seem unconventional or even unbelievable at times. However, these incredible results speak louder than words and serve as evidence of the power of energetic connections transcending time and space.
Through years of practice, study, and dedication, I have honed my skills as an energy healer. My goal has always been to create a safe and sacred space for each client, allowing them to receive the deep healing they seek. Whether it's physical ailments, emotional blockages, or spiritual growth, my intention has been to support you on your unique journey towards wellness and wholeness.
The beauty of distant energy healing lies in its accessibility. No matter where you are in the world, we can connect energetically without boundaries or limitations. This universal connection allows me to tap into your unique energy field and facilitate powerful healing, even from thousands of miles away. It's a truly awe-inspiring experience to witness the transformative impact this practice has had on countless lives.
I want to extend my appreciation not only to my clients but also to the Etsy community for providing a platform where I can share my services with the world. The support and encouragement from fellow shop owners and customers have been invaluable throughout this journey. The Etsy platform has allowed me to reach a wide audience and connect with individuals who are seeking alternative methods of healing and personal growth.
As I reflect on this milestone, I am filled with gratitude for every person who has crossed paths with my Etsy shop. Each transaction represents more than just a sale; it signifies an opportunity for healing, growth, and self-discovery. It is an honour and privilege to be part of each client's journey towards wellness.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue expanding my offerings and reaching even more individuals in need of distant energy healing. Your continued support fuels my passion for this work, motivating me to push boundaries and explore new avenues for serving you better.
Once again, thank you from the depths of my heart for being a part of this incredible achievement. Together, we are creating ripples of positive change in the world through the power of distant energy healing.

(maybe not that) weird thing about painting – I like my own mediocre art more than anyone else in the world, and price it at my happy price, meaning it rarely sells
I sometimes say I'm making art to sell it, but empirically I'm making it to hoard it

why do my sims playthroughs always turn kinda fucked up :'D
#i made a girl who is really outdoorsy and wants to have a great ranch#i made a horse for her and moved them to the world that was included with the horse pack#she immediately got to training her horsie‚ gardening and stuff#but then her first bill came and it was astronomical because the lot is big#so she got a job as a gardener#but what she was making wasn't enough to sustain the ranch#some time later some rando called her telling that she might get a distant relative's inheritance if she marries within 7 days#ofc she wasn't planning to do that but then one of her neighbours asked to crush at her place for a few days#they had great chemistry so she decided to marry him platonically for the inheritance money and a helping hand at the ranch#he moved in and so did his horse lol#also aside from the inheritance money he also contributed 20k simoleons#however the same night they got married he froze to death while playing with the horses outside (i wasn't paying attention to him lmao :'D)#she didn't really love him but she still was heartbroken#she got on a drunken bender for a while and decided she's going to grow weed for sale now (i got the basemental mod at that point ajdnbfbb)#since she had like 50k simoleons on her now she hired a ranch hand who would help her with that while she focuses on training the horses#so i think next she's going to get closer with the ranch hand and maybe date her too if they have any chemistry#and they're gonna grow weed and look after horses together ahdbbxzbbz

a display of Argentinian inflation, as shown by three random anime games that appeared on my steam store
Tumblr media
first game, release date 2019: 650 ARS
second game, release date 2021: 2500 ARS
third game, release date 2023: 9000 ARS
these games are all the same price internationally, but as they haven't been updated locally, their price reflects how much 60USD has shifted its worth translated to my currency over time
and this is without mentioning the +75% - 98% tax lmao

I wonder if anybody in the flightrising community on tumblr knows of other players that just buy one breed of dragon to exalt
specifically snappers, actually just snappers
i'm just curious as to why
is it hatred? lore reasons? i know they arent doing it for profit considering the prices

Tango were so confident in Hi-Fi Rush that they released it on the same day they announced it; hotdropped it out of nowhere with nothing but a single trailer saying "THIS IS OUR COOL NEW RHYTHM-ACTION GAME IT'S OUT NOW!" and it actually worked. People loved it, it was popular, it wasn't an AAA game but it looked gorgeous and was a complete and polished experience, just an all-around triumph for the devs at Tango Gameworks.
I cannot overemphasize how crazy that is. If you're an indie game launching on Steam (meaning you're operating on a lower budget than most games) one of your first goals is to hit 20,000 wishlists before you launch, since that's the magic number that makes the Steam algo start showing your game to people who don't know you exist. You need months of hard work and good luck to make it, and even then you're still praying that the 20k wishlists actually convert to sales (I've worked on projects that hit 20k wishlists, but with a really low conversion rate so the games still 'failed')
An AA game with a hefty budget would need way more than that to make back its money spent. They would have to compete with AAA games hogging all the attention (and the audience's budget), while not having that scrappy indie culture behind them. If they don't sell enough to make their money back + enough for a new game, that studio is toast.
Hi-Fi Rush's team really went for a hotdrop stunt that would instantly kill 90% of other studios outright, somehow pulled it off spectacularly with a completely new IP that couldn't even fall back on brand recognition, and Microsoft STILL closed them down. They had a miracle team and just fired them all.
There's really nothing you can do to survive in this industry anymore

Hello, crab fans. Wow, you have been having a busy time! On July 29, also known as Crabs Day, you took to TumblrMart to give the gift of crabs to your pals. And boy, did we notice—not just all the great crab memes and trending posts on the day but also the burst in sales which made up a substantial financial boost to the running costs at Tumblr. And it truly took our breath away.
We got so excited we went back to the drawing board and designed some crab checkmarks, which we teased by dressing your regular checkmarks up as crabs on the day. On August 1, we launched a regular little crab checkmark and a rainbow crab checkmark for gifting and treating yourselves.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are some stats from Crabs Day:
You gifted 8k crabs that day. That’s an almost 20k% increase in crab sales.
We saw a more than 7k% increase in total Tumblrmart sales.
All this money goes straight back into running costs—such as a month’s worth of power costs for Tumblr application servers. That’s all you! You’re doing that! You’re keeping Tumblr around with your generosity toward your friends. Crabs be thanking ye ❤

PSA to printed zine makers
As a 37 year old who's been running a sole proprietorship for the last 10+ years, I just want everyone who is planning to run a fandom project that involves accepting money for printing & shipping costs to know that you're actually running a small business and you need to plan for taxes. It doesn't matter if you don't make any profit: that is business income and the IRS will see it as such if you get audited.
If you only take enough money in to cover the cost of printing & shipping then you can write that off as a business expense and probably not pay taxes on it, But in order for that to fly you actually have to do business accounting, especially if you're doing it at scale. Like, you can probably skate by without reporting a $500 project; I absolutely would not fucking risk it with a $5000 project.
Back when I was producing shows there were years when I was where I made $20k in ticket sales only to turn around and immediately pay $18k to my performers. I only made $2k for myself, but I had to report the entire $20k, because it was ALL INCOME. (I only paid taxes on the $2000, because that's how writing off expenses works!)
Yeah this is boring grownup shit and I'm getting my boring grownup fingers all over your fun fandom, but boring grownups doing boring grownup things are the reason fandom spaces exist at all (paying for servers is deeply boring), and I'm way more fun than an audit

What To Consider When Buying a Laptop in Kenya
When it comes to laptops, there are a few things you need to take into account before making your purchase. Below, we will go over some of the most important factors to consider when buying a laptop in Kenya. Price: Of course, one of the most important things to consider when purchasing any item is price. When it comes to laptops, you can find them for as low as KES 10,000. It is important to note that the lower the price, the lower the quality will be. If you are looking for a laptop that will last you a long time and withstand heavy use, it is best to spend a bit more money on a higher-quality model. Operating System: The next thing you need to consider is what operating system you would like your laptop to have. The two most popular operating systems for laptops are Windows and macOS. Windows laptops are typically less expensive than their macOS counterparts; however, they are not as user-friendly. If you are not familiar with how to use Windows, we recommend opting for a macOS laptop instead. Processor: Another important factor to consider when choosing a laptop is the processor type. There are two main types of processors used in laptops: Intel and AMD. Intel processors are typically faster and more powerful than AMD processors; however, they also tend to be more expensive. If you are on a budget, an AMD processor may be the better option for you. Storage: Another thing you need to

After seeing the little tutorial for bookbinding by @niennanir, and realizing I had most of the supplies already or could get them easily (and fairly cheaply, too,I ended up finding a couple nice sales like glue for $0.50 a bottle and nice textweight bright white paper for $20 instead of $35-40), I finally nerved up enough to try a hand binding of a fic. I picked one of my own (a 20k one, but split into 4 chapters, so I'll just do 1 chapter per booklet), and got to work.
Bug helped me weigh down the first one. It's currently drying into the cover, while the second one does its first dry. It was actually very easy, especially once I saw it in person. I might do a few others of my own.

My fifth bind is complete! This is a collection of some of my absolute favorite short Good Omens fics (sub-20k words) which I sorted into rough thematic categories. This book features works by @thehoyden and @darcylindbergh (among others who I don’t think are on Tumblr) as well as a cover image graciously provided by @adealiz ♥️
Technical details follow:
This was my first time working with this specific paper (which I cut to the correct grain direction! What a delight!) as well as my first time using hand-marbled endpaper (as opposed to printed scrapbook paper.) The endpaper was much thinner than what I’m used to, so I had a little unexpected glue moisture rippling.
I think I’ll be switching my fonts up going forward. I keep having issues getting Garamond to print consistently.
For the cover, I used a faux leather upholstery patch. I printed the cover image on printable vinyl and added some silver lettering stickers. It might not be the most durable/travelable thing ever, but it looks nice on the shelf.
I’m so happy to have this one done—the learning process never ends. I’m already typesetting my next two binds, another Good Omens fic and a Star Trek AU 😊
❗️These binds are not for sale. Authors and artists may inquire about gift copies.

i still find it so interesting how leon is just so incredibly popular within the resident evil fandom. like...i remember seeing this one screenshot of a poll (i dont have it on hand) but it was like a vote for people's favorite resident evil character and leon had like way over 20k votes and then the next character in second place didn't even cross like 10k votes or smth. like it's actually insane...
as much as i do love the other characters of the franchise, i really do think leon is like the poster boy child of resident evil with how popular he is. hell, i remember hearing how many people complained about like him being "too much of a simp" for ada in RE6 back in 2012 so capcom heard their complaints and really toned down their relationship in RE2R and RE4R. like if you compare how the og re4 leon and ada act with one another vs remake its a HUGE difference
AND ANOTHER THING how everyone ships everyone with him too...listen for me i dont really care unless its not illegal/pedo shit...if the art or fic is cool...its cool!!! i just think its a little funny is all
anyways moral of the story leon isnt being let down for a while now especially with games with him as the main protagonist having the most sales and just how popular of a character he is. (till hes 90) like people who dont really know the franchise will probably have heard of leon kennedy before, like hell, i got into resident evil because i watched my girlfriend play re2r and i thought leon was cute and it became my special interest
anyways i love this little blondie freak a lot and i think hes pretty neat 😼
