I just want to say I adore your art style and the latest sketches you did for Darimila. I would happily listen to any more headcanons you have regarding Bell, I LOVE the dynamic they have with Darius.

The potential with Bell is limitless. So here’s a hc-

Bells drawn to consuming products is due the need to gather materials (I hc that palisman also still need to consume when not in dormant/staff form) but due to Bell being an more active palisman with a mix of abomination magic (where abominations usually can be reused from the material they are made of) Bell is burning through some of that material when bigger acts of magic are used, so basically Bells aiming so there’s a good storage of abomination material always ready for Darius to use. And the reason to the preference of consuming more fancy, high quality and purple themed products (mmm shampoo), because Bell is spoiled like a cat given fancy wet food and not would go for anything less. This also means that the abomination material Bell stores is very rich in quality. Every witch that’s been in a duel with Darius has been after like my skin/hair/horns has never looked better (think mud bath).

I’m been playing with different ideas of Bells dynamic with Darius, how the magic works, what lead to this and that etc etc that I mean it when I say the potential it’s limitless and pretty much anything else isn’t set in stone yet besides the tidbit above.

i really do like the idea because it is fun to see william's desperation taken to its extremes. to explore how far he would go. he would genuinely do anything for henry, even up to becoming a completely different person for him, trying to more closely align with what he knows henry likes.

(speaking for my william specifically) they couldn't be together because they were both men. and henry was planning on settling down with a wife. so if henry wanted a woman? if it was the only way they could be together? then william would be a woman. he's already constantly playing a character, so this doesn't feel much different for him… save for the nagging discomfort, and the nausea he feels when he looks at himself in the mirror. he still would do it for henry.

AND YET. it really has the opposite effect of what william was intending. henry knows what will is like, knows who he is, and by god this is not him. he's trying so hard to squeeze himself into a role he simply doesn't fit into nor even want to be in. and it makes henry deeply uncomfortable, knowing how far william was going. he doesn't even want a woman, he wants william. as himself. (but as ive said before, circumstances keep them apart).

william takes it as a sign of rejection. given the fact he felt he was perfectly playing the part, along with having all the same capabilities as a biological woman, the last logical explanation in his mind is a flaw within himself. henry kind of refuses to entertain his bullshit though.

salt! especially when you're working with dry preservation, which is what it's being used for typically. sugar will attract bugs and other things which will eat away at the specimen, along with not drawing out the moisture nearly as well / at all.

but if you're working with things like rabbits feet, which are intended to be dry at the end, you'd think that the process involves just drying them, right? but you'd be wrong! the process (at least that i've followed in the past) involves soaking them twice, once in a soapy water mixture to remove parasites, then in a high concentrate isopropyl alcohol, rinsing thoroughly between steps.

processes vary depending on what you're working on. another example is that for the rooster i'm planning to take the wings from, i'm going to need to both remove his wings, and go through the process of removing the flesh while also keeping the skin in tact around his bones, since i'm going to be effectively stuffing the void with cotton, so that everything lays properly when its all dried. those are actually going to be dried in salt, which is primarily because he was a domestic animal and i know where he'd been.

At my new job I've noticed that I get through the work fairly easily if I totally understand it when it's assigned to me, but that I get quite anxious if I realize I'm going to have to come back and ask a follow-up question. I've made myself ask the questions anyway, because I can't get the work done otherwise and also that's what a person who was not emotionally damaged by their last job would do, and so far every time it's been fine. People get back to me almost immediately with answers, and not once has someone gotten angry or defensive or acted like I was an idiot or manipulator for asking.

Have enough mecha on my plate to watch and can’t keep up with weekly shit so I plan to watch grendizer u when it finishes airing which would be relatively soon now that I think about but there’s like one thing about it that’s not entirely related that’s been on my mind, that being the art style.

Now it’s not a bad art style by any means especially when it’s the Eva artist doing it-and yes have your opinions about that show, but his art style is undeniably good and it got better post Eva with this show proving that-and I think they translated the characters nicely, like Duke very different very twinked LOL but he could look way less then himself but you can still tell it’s Duke. (And Sayaka with purple hair weirdly works)

But this and infinity just shows mazinger likely going to have a more modern art style and possibly if we’re lucky enough to get non mazinger stuff, all dynapro mecha adaptions to come after are likely gonna be in a modern art style and I’m just thinking to myself: if we somehow get another getter anime we have to live with the fact the last show to have getter’s original art style was arc and I don’t hate arc but MAN I hate how instead of them trying to refine the art style by actually giving them budget their just likely gonna change what made getter getter.
