Pen Pals
A mini movie animation project made by second years.
Big thanks to my team members for this project! Here's some of their socials!
Our director @janedogg on Instagram!
My co-producer @serenak
Our editor @abuocaystudios on Instagram!
I was one of the co-producers, animator, concept artist, even voice actress for this project! Obviously we had to do multiple jobs since we had a small team and only 6 weeks to finish this!
Quite a learning curve this project however. I had to organise a lot, although thankfully we split the job between two people. And I'm so thankful that everyone in the team had a good time together, we were all getting along! It's just that we had a lot of technical issues 😅
Anyway, it's a nice short animation we created based on the director's idea she had during the specialism module before this one.

3D Printing Pens(Quick Guide)
WHAT IS A 3D PEN?
A 3D pen is a small tool that allows children to doodle and sketch in 3D. It resembles a pen and extrudes plastic through a nozzle at the tip after passing it through a heated system to melt it. Because the plastic hardens almost instantly, it can be used to create simple or intricate forms and models. PLA, ABS, Nylon, Wood, and even flexible materials are all acceptable.
A 3D pen is a fantastic tool for creating any type of drawing that comes to mind in 3D. Anyone can use this 3D pen without understanding how it works. The heating element and nozzle are interchangeable with those used in desktop 3D printers.
The printer head is guided manually rather than being managed by computer software and motors, but in the 3D pen, we must draw or sketch the diagram manually, as we would with a regular pen. Some electrical and electronic components are used; let us go over what they are.

Uses of a 3D Pen
Three-dimensional objects are created with 3D printing pens by extruding melted plastic filament.
They can be used for many things, including art, design, and prototyping.
Some people use them for repairs and modifications as well.
The possibilities are endless; with a 3D pen, you can create anything you can imagine!
The best 3D pens allow you to ‘draw’ in three dimensions using heated plastic filament, and we adore them. They can be used to make impressive 3D art, models, and toys, or they can be used to decorate your favourite things.
For that, we got the best 3D pen for kids, the best 3D pen for adults, and the best 3D pen for beginners.

Mass Effect Lore: Common technologies in the 2180‘s (Part 2)
This post is both a collection of canon technologies in the Mass Effect universe, and personal headcanon which may be borrowing common concepts from sci fi.
Infrastructure:
Autonomous public transportation vessels of all sorts. As seen with the tram on Noveria. Trains, buses and cabs are also autonomous. Rude bus drivers, trains and buses being cancelled or too late are problems of the past.
Some of those buses and cabs drive on land; others are flying vessels that travel through the sky.
Trains travel at immense speed, with most trains being able to travel at least 1000km/h. Low pressure tunnels allow for this level of speed.
Suspension railways are a common means of public transportation and are widely featured all across the galaxy on various space station, colonies and in most Earth countries. This also includes maglevs (magnetic levitation trains).
Cities commonly not only feature terminals providing rentable e-bikes, e-scooters or even e-rollerblade, but also rent flying hoverboards.
Medicine & Health:
Needles have become obsolete. Technologies akin to Star Trek's hypospray have replaced them. (This contradicts with Mordin's line in ME3: „Fear of needles. Common phobia." I know.)
Genetic therapy has advanced so far as to being able to cure almost any genetic disease. (Book canon).
Cybernetics can fix deafness and blindness.
(Canon implied, I believe?)
Advancement in technology and medicine have slowed down human aging significantly. Women can have healthy children in their sixties. (Book canon). Anti aging therapies and cybernetics can allow humans to reach ages of up to 250 years.
Education:
Paper and pens being used in schools is a thing of the past. Students use tablets (which are made of ultra-light also foldable) with either keyboards or tablet pens for handwritten notes.
(Book canon implied - Gillian uses a computer to work on her assignments in Mass Effect:
Ascension).
Some teachers and students would prefer to have their textbooks in form of super light datapads (like e books) rather than have them all digitally stored on their computer.
Learning programs are highly advanced and VI‘s provide students with custom tailored, individualized exercises and study plans and games.
Food:
Liquid food drinks, nutrient pastes and bars that replace entire meals are available just about everywhere. With biotics burning huge amount of calories, the asari have perfected such products. Being cheaper than freshly cooked take out meals and coming in all sorts of flavors and textures, such nutrient pastes proved to be a saving grace for poorer individuals. Some poor people nearly only eat 3D printed nutrient paste, which does not have the same feeling as eating real meals, but nutrient paste in Mass Effect is of such high quality that it provides the body with all nutrients it needs while being free of unhealthy ingredients.
People-prepared foods (by humans/aliens) are still appreciated, but many foods available in grocery stores are 3D printed. Cafés tend to feature feature people-prepared foods. A café selling 3D printed cakes for instance would be looked down upon.
Synthetic flavors have been perfected. While technology has been advanced to the point where you could grow strawberries on Omega without issues (using environmental control systems in a hydroponic bay), the ultimate cheapest way to replicate the flavor is using synthetic ingredients. This way, you can find foods of any flavor, no matter what exotic fruit from Palaven or Khar'Shan it might be, anywhere.
Sugar free snacks and candy are as common as the sugar variants. Ice cream cates feature sugar free ice cream options. Sugar free chocolate or cookies are available at any grocery store.
Various synthetic ingredients are used to replace sugar.
Lab grown meat is incredibly common (canon) and meat from Earth animals found on space stations is grown from animal stem cells.
Home:
Significantly less time is spent on chores due to robots doing most of the work. With floor wiping and vacuum robots being affordable for middle class people in the 21st century, in the 22nd, the majority of cleaning is done by robots in a middle class household. Advanced kitchen aid machines are found in most households and make cooking less time consuming and complicated for most people.
Blinds, curtains, light, air filtration systems, thermal regulation systems (air conditioning or heating systems) and television are typically navigated via a voice command (for example, „Light on“ or „Television off).
Holographic home ambiences like in Cyberpunk 2077 are common. Windows can be made to look like they‘re displaying a galaxy full of stars via holographic projections. Some people use those home ambience holographs to create the appearance of a luxurious club lounge, or to project beautiful landscapes into a corner of their room.
Personal Care:
Like in Star Trek, sonic showers can be used to clean the body effectively. Ultrasonic vibrations remove dirt, bacteria, excess oil and dead skin cells without requiring soap or water. While more expensive than typical showers, the use of sonic showers saves water. This sort of technology is found within quarian environmental suits. Drell with Kepral's Syndrome generally use sonic showers rather than water showers.
In addition to having an inbuild shower function, quarian environmental suits are equipped with a dental hygiene program that cleans the teeth and mouth of the wearer effectively using ultrasonic vibrations.
Certain suit upgrades can even use nanobots to moisturize the body.
Toothbrushes are also generally sonic toothbrushes that use the same technology as showers do; ultrasonic vibrations.
Clothes are typically self-cleaning with nanoparticles that kill bacteria and prevent the build up of odor.

OCs.......
i FINALLY settled on a design for the main character of Fabrication!!!! only took me............. six years........... sorry SELF.......
also did the guardian of perspective, shea (pronounced 'shay' iirc, they/them)! ended up being an anthromorphic horse guy, but they're a shapeshifter - it's just their base form :D
(SELF on left, shea on right)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and you can see my frantic design here; SELF was quick to figure out but shea was, uh. significantly harder, majorly bc i don't know how to draw horse heads
(the lil cloud is how i draw my persona)
Tumblr media
fun fact abt SELF, they aren't actually a sentient die - they're a human, but they don't like showing their real face a lot of the time. what do they look like? beats me, i'm not about to make another bloody reference :p
also i used paint 3d for the first time!!! fiddly af but WHO CARES I GOT DEW TO SPIN :DDD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
will be doing this again at some point, i like experimenting like this! maybe i'll give her the jacket she deserves.. also i FINALLY FOUND my old pen + pad for digital drawing so ig i'm gonna try using it more - used it for the initial sketch here, and it's still hard with dyspraxia, but am getting the hang of it!
update: krita was being funny about my pen but i think i'm improving at mousepad art (i will never use a mouse sue me)!!! here's princess eleanor and thunder being silly <3
(for context, eleanor unofficially adopts children left and right, so when thunder and her met, she was nicer to xem than originally planned and took xem in. she was interested in meeting SELF and the Fragments, and when she realised they were children, she went off wanting to hurt/influence them. she's manipulative due to her own goals of totally NOT murdering/otherwise influencing political opposition, but only to an extent for kids. they're innocent and she is a protector)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(shhh dw abt the blood....... she's innocent, look at that innocent face............ she's not an assassin princess, no............. shhh /jk /s)
oh and i remember @mylackofgrammaristerrifying saying that azzie should get a gf...... GUESS WHAT SHE GETS TWO, (though one is still being designed!) POLYAMORY TIME :DDD
Tumblr media
they love each other dearly dw, azzie is upset for *reasons* in this drawing but nettle is good to her. they'll heal a bit more <3
i don't think i made a proper post on them (maybe?), tho they've been sitting in my masterpost for a while! gonna revamp both the refs and the masterpost at some point to be more simple tho. anyway here's nettle (she/they)!
Tumblr media
the other partner is elle (they/them i think? either that or she/her, still choosing. genderqueer). all three are really in love, lil' goobers <3
oh, and one last drawing:
Tumblr media
</3
moot tags! beware the horrors: @mrrottenreblogs @nylonnye2 and mlogit you have already been tagged! hope you guys are doing good :D

Corpse Party: Restitched AU
Yuka Mochida!
I gave myself some rules for this AU as to not mess with the story too much- just to kinda Un-Ick the characters a bit. Basically they keep a good amount of their traits just making them more I guess.. 3d? Idk I tried my best.
More indepth rambling under the cut
Yuka Mochida
Design Notes
-Did research on Junior Highschool attire for Japan, The dress she wears normally is actually meant for Elementary. So I switched it out, I decided to steal the neck shoulder thing from her Rebuilt Design, it's kinda like some weird amalgamation of the normal Sailor suit thing.
-Since she has gone home already, you would think she would have gotten a jacket or something to bring the umbrella right? Decided that the Jacket was a gift from Satoshi, it's Merch from "Bad Evil Bunny" and has a Decal on the back.
-They rabbit on her headband is also a merch piece from "Bad Evil Bunny". Satsuki has a matching Patch that's on her uniform skirt!
Personality Notes
-Yuka Though being 14 has a more childish air to her. She often takes a liking to things that are geared towards younger children. Stuffed animals, toys, cartoons/anime. Often waking up early in the morning on weekends to catch an episode of pokemon or Tokyo mew mew while eating breakfast.
-She takes a liking to Stationary, More cutesy items like Pusheen and pokemon pens, pencils, notebooks, sticky notes, and pencases.
-She is introverted like straight up "Fuck new people", For like the first semester of Middle school people thought she was Mute because she never talked to anyone, that was till Her and Satsuki met and bonded over a shared interest of "Bad Evil Bunny". If you where to ask anyone else, they would say Yuka was an absolute Hermit but Satsuki would say otherwise. She'd say she would be the most energetic person ever.
-She has an horrible fear of Larger dogs, she can deal with smaller breeds such as the Shiba Inu but anything bigger and she'll be avoiding it like the plague.
-She really likes oversized and baggy clothing, her uniform is a bit larger so it can hang over her hands. Has a tendency to steal Satoshi's hoodie's or jackets sometimes because of that.
-She is the type of student that is always either sleeping, doodling, or daydreaming during class and somehow still has straight As
Relationship notes
Satoshi: Older brother! And older brother only- she loves him a lot but often gets annoyed when he forgets things and she has to bring it to him. She often refers to him as Toshi or Shi-Shi when they are at home.
Naomi: Sees her as an Older sister since she's been around since Yuka was born. Much like Satoshi, Naomi has a nickname as well. Usually it's Mimi. Yuka may or may not use Naomi as a way to get sweets every now and again whenever she can't get Satoshi to get her any.
Satsuki: BFF in and out of school, often drags Satsuki along to hang out with her and Satoshi's Freinds. She questions where the fuck she keeps her infinite supply of Potato chips.
Seiko: Finds her weird with some of the stuff she dose to Naomi and Satoshi, but when it's just Yuka and her they have a pretty nice time since Sekio's Mother hen instincts kick in.
Kishinuma: They bicker alot- like their love language towards each other is just pure aggression, they throw snide remarks at each other 24/7. But when it comes down to it Kishinuma would put his life on the line for Yuka
Mayu: Became real good Freinds after learning of their shared love of cutesy things, They trade Pokemon cards togeather and have so cosplayed togeather
Morishige: He creeps her out, more so because of his blank stare and indifferent personality to anyone that isn't Mayu.
Ayumi: Finds her kinda scary, she's sat in on some of her scary stories and they are usually too much for her. She dose like her candles though.
Ms. Yui: has only really met her once or twice so there is no real connection until the prank they played on Satoshi n Co at the begining of corpse party

See, with Draculaura's hair styled like that, she looks just like Momoi Satsuki as a goth vampire! I created the strawberry ice-cream tower myself with the 3d pen!!!
The swirly white with pink creamy top actually was part of a limited cheap doll line in these regions, the dolls were like Polly Pockey meets chibi styles dolls that each came in these ice cream cones. The polly pocket vibe felt so nostalgic and the chibi dolls themselves made for cute and cheap OOAK projects, but I was stuck with these plastic ice cream cones after managing to buy 4 of them. And then I was hit with the lightning of inspiration, as I remembered owning the Barbie Rapunzel tower when I was a kid. So I decided to use the ice cream cone lid as a roof and started drawing a tower structure attached to it and this is how it turnt out! For a first time making a doll playset, I did quite the excellent job! (yeah, my dreams of becoming a name in children's entertainment isn't limited to writing. I love designing toys) (also please ignore the fact our window is a little dirty)

It's gonna be real fucking funny when someone finally lawyers up and drags either Lily or Poppy to court. All their terminally online antics, from Lily shrieking about "transphobic lies and slander" to Poppy trying to "pull rank" as a therapist, will just make everyone laugh them out of the courtroom. It'll be the greatest public flogging of all time, and I'm here for it.
If Lily ever genuinely gets dragged to court, she's going to prison and getting put on a list for the rest of her life. If she ever gets out of prison.
Lily Orchard is a pedophile. She's said it to me herself on multiple occasions, which are in the chat logs linked in my pinned, both directly and via her sockpuppet account. Lily Orchard has an e621 account under her sockpuppet's pen name full of depictions of children. Lily Orchard had at least three SankakuComplex accounts under her sockpuppet's pen name, two of her sockpuppets' names mashed together, and two names from one of her fanfictions full of 3D depictions of child torture. Lily Orchard was found seeking hurtcore content on a dark web csem peddling forum. Lily Orchard has written her sexual abuse of her sibling into damn near every work of fiction she's ever written, including her sockpuppet's backstory.
Lily Orchard is a pedophile. Lily Orchard is an active danger to minors. Lily Orchard is a malignant sadist who enjoys seeing people suffer (something else she admitted via her sockpuppet that's in my chat logs).
If you still support Lily Orchard, you are supporting a goddamn child predator and are actively choosing to remain ignorant. End of story.
I've met quite a few fucked up people in my lifetime. Lily Orchard is by far the most genuinely evil, malignant, poisonous piece of shit I've ever had the misfortune of having in my life. And I'm not stopping until she's in prison.
I know Lily is going to have some smart-mouth shit to say about this and I don't care. Her and I both know what the truth is. She's just a monster that has to make sure her prey doesn't see beyond her flimsy Dollar Store mask.

Get To Know The Mun!
Tumblr media
> BASICS! ♡
NAME: Spoop, Splat, D, Darck (peeps usually call my my main muses names except Spoop, I am the spoopiest.)
PRONOUNS: Any! I merely exist.
ZODIAC SIGN: Sagittarius/Capricorn
TAKEN OR SINGLE: Single but married to food.
> THREE FACTS! ♡
Have been writing since the 90's when I was a wee child. Did silly little roleplaying on mIRC, on some forums, and deviant art back in the day there after. Then became a fanfic writer for a while, followed by poems which I was quite good at back in the day. Then began making lyrics- figured nah, not for me. And flipped full circle back into roleplaying once more with some drabbles and maybe a one shot fic here and there. Have been writing ever since! So I have a LOT of history under my belt. And many of my muses have the same type of dedication and time behind them. Gotta put as much love into your character and writing, as if they were your own family. Make them feel alive.
Most art I do is either writing, 3D model modification items, or just with a mouse and keyboard art. I have been practicing more with a gifted tablet and pen, which has allowed me to do more detailed and serious mod work, such as mods for RE4 classic! But I am much better at texture, 3D, or coloring and shading. But heres the fun fact: i learned all my 3D and texture work skills through Second Life before anything else. And it's actually, funny enough, helped me bring muses to life as well as follow up on how to mod other games and go hog wild.
Been struck by lightning twice, fell down two different cliffs, hit by a semi truck, shot with a carbon arrow in the chest, stabbed, shot by bullet, and so on- and yet here I stand. Most of these events were completely accidental as well, and I walked away from. Honestly? I'm just a walking glitch in the matrix of the world, considering I also glitch every single god damn game I touch. THIS IS NOT A JOKE, NO MATTER HOW NEW IT IS, I BREAK IT.
> EXPERIENCE! ♡
PLATFORMS USED: AIM, Yahoo Messenger, DA chat, so many FORUM's back in the day. Skype, Discord, Tumblr.
PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES: Geez, I can roll with just about anything. Plotting? Hell yeah count me in! Plots may not always follow the idea one hundred percent, but it absolutely makes for longer events and threads easily. Winging it? I do that all the damn time and can create so many unexpected events, as well as sudden character development. Twists and turns that just wing a rough idea into something wild. As for Memes and asks? Oh those can still form some really good interactions, character developments or knowledge acquiring moments. Sometimes these are one offs or long drabbles- but they can form into something longer and more serious. However, while I am down for all of the above-- I also have bad ADHD and writing can be hard, so it could take a while.
> MUSE PREFERENCE! ♡
GENDER: I can write just about any gender character, manage things in between or none. However I am more comfortable with female centric style muses. And yet, you put large men in my hands, and watch them go hog fucking wild. And don't even get be started on Robots or Monsters.
MULTI OR SINGLE: I have done both, but usually prefer single muse blogs. And yet I absolutely love my megaman multimuse to death! All my robot children and heathens there, so much work in my own verse there. So many thoughts. But multimuse blogs can still be difficult to keep organized with so much going on in the braincell, and with life being as it is, need to take breaks from it.
LEAST FAVOURITE FACECLAIM(S): Not sure what this means for least favorite here, does it mean people, or genre? I really don't mind one way or another. Especially when it comes to OC's, it's hard to find anyone who fits just right for people. And honestly I do not mind one way or another for people. If it fits someones muse, that's fine by me.
> FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT! ♡
FLUFF: THE GOOD SHIT HELL YEAH. I'm down for fluff so long as it isn't like... Hollow and forced. Fluff can be used as a great comfort option,. be it platonic, familial, friendly, or even romantic. Fluff can be used in so very many ways, and it's always an option withy me. But this can also turn into angst easily with my cursed hands, you have been warned. As well as comedic timing, since Darck needs to make a laugh to make herself comfortable. Darck has... problems.
ANGST: My bread and butter this one, much to the dismay of many of my friends who write with me. The muse on this blog is made of angst and pain and terrible events that have formed her into who she is. Angst can become violence, woe, heavy conversation, as well as venting- it's such a key part of development. There is a saying I quite enjoy: Muses are like geodes. Shiny, pretty, and in order to see what they are really made of, you must break them. I do admit however that I have a limit of how far I can go to a degree, with real life being a thing, but honestly? It takes a whole fucking lot to get there. And also maybe write angst too much and tragedy. Give this muse some better days.
SMUT: As much as I have enjoyed smut in the past, I haven't written such in a very long time, and am very careful of whom I write such with. Turns out I really good at smut according to others. And hey fun fact: People used to straight up pay me to write them smut of their characters and others of their choice. Haven't had that going in years but, it was a thing. However these days, writing smut with my muses needs to be more than just the event. It can be an opening for vulnerability, letting someone get close enough and trust them enough, that no one else really gets. Quiet and heavy conversations, the emotions involved. But if I ever do write it again, both my self and my partner need to be comfortable with writing such a thing. However if I ever did smut in a private drabble or fanfic, then all bets are off, because that's different. But far more rare.

FMP - Whiteboard
I've created some designs for what I want to go on the whiteboard.
I'd already made the calendar design a while ago when I was practicing some modelling, but here it is again.
Tumblr media
I wanted the pen marks to show that the astronaut has eagerly been waiting to be able to go home but as they haven't completed the mission they weren't able to leave when planned.
I also wanted to have a drawing that looks like it's been made by one of the astronaut's children. It shows the astronaut on Mars whilst the rest of her family are at home on Earth.
Tumblr media
I thought it would look good to have a clipping or page from a magazine showing some details of the astronaut's mission. This gives the audience/player a bit more information about the astronaut and the reason they're on Mars.
Tumblr media
I've also made a to-do list that can be pinned on the board. This is to show some of the types of task that the player might have to complete as well as showing that the astronaut hasn't been keeping on top of things as there are still things to do left unticked. I'll use the black and white image as an opacity mask so it looks like the page has been ripped from a notebook and pinned to the board.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the family photo, I used Metahuman to make an adult and 2 children. I then imported them into my project and posed them with the astronaut and rendered the image. I edited the photo slightly to add a border.
Tumblr media
The next step is to apply all of these along with some textures to the whiteboard.
