doing the new tot event and im reminded how much i fucking hate canon vyn and the way he's written. you were better in my delusions when you were a metaphor and symbolism for how we inherit fears and insecurities from our parents and we aren't too far off from finding the same fate (but still worthy of love. and goodness. and kind gestures). whenever i look back to read canon vyn he's always speaking over trauma victim's stories and interpreting their trauma for us (through projection and personalisation) and is treated by the writing as someone with no weaknesses (despite literally all of his story cards being about a "weakness" he has)

i feel alienated in regards to “online transfem culture” and i don’t know why. i don’t mean this in a “i can’t relate to this so it’s bad” way, but more so “i don’t really see/understand this as a shared experience” way. i don’t really know how to explain it but it feels as if every subgenre of online transfem communities just isn’t for me.

For anyone who is unaware, MAP means "minor attracted person" though this is nothing but a false name Pedophiles use in attempt to weasel their way into the Queer community. If you see anyone using this flag, block them and report them if you can.

Edit: I've seen a lot of people mention this so I'd like to state it here as well so more people can see it. 1) DO NOT REFER TO PEDOPHILES AS "MAPS". The only reason I used it here was to make people aware of what it means in this context. Children are unfortunately extremely likely to run into pedophiles on the internet (I myself was contacted by several back when I was still a minor, some before I even knew what "map" flags were). Some- not all, but some- are very open about being pedophiles, and of the ones who are open about it, most hide themselves behind the title "Minor Attracted Person" and use the "pride" flags they and 4chan users create. I have also run into these kinds of pedophiles on the internet and I only knew that they weren't safe and I needed to block them because I knew about the "map" thing and I recognized some of their flags. Actually using it when talking about pedophiles does nothing but help them hide and it also hurts the animation community. Which brings me to point 2) the term "MAP" in animation is an acronym for "Multi Animator Project". If you see an animation video with MAP in the title it simply means that the video was made in a collaboration between several animators, it is in no way related to pedophiles or pedophilia. We need to stop calling pedophiles MAPs both to stop giving them an "innocent" sounding title and to stop hurting the animators who are simply trying to keep their titles short and simple.

#oh yeah tag essay time my favorite #perhaps this is heresy but dare i say this game does doom eternal better than doom eternal..?#its like doom eternal but without the ammo issue (which wasnt really an issue tbh) and even MORE fast paced #but to be fair the last time i played eternal was with the dlc so perhaps im remembering it being slower than this.#tho some of the weapons in doom eternal are just way better. ex: super shotgun and the sniper mode on the rifle and the rocket launcher #this game does have a sniper but its not really a proper one. what it does is teleport you inside of the enemy #it does have some issues #there is too much back tracking for something this fast paced. it would benefit greatly from a map. and im not crazy about fps platforming #and some performance issues. i assume its cpu related cause a 4090 should not be getting 70 fps at times in a retro low poly style game #but the gunplay goes crazy. also you have a chainsaw leg that insta kills any fodder enemy and this can heal u with the right perks #i kind of regret not playing on a harder difficulty tho #im playing on street cleaner which is hard mode and its way too easy. my deaths have been environmental ones #theres only 2 enemies so far that have clear 'you gotta counter them this way specifically' gimmick. and 1 boss so far with a gimmick #it should go without saying if u like ultrakill u will like this. it is more like doom eternal tho #i am on episode 2 and i think theres 3 but tbh i dont see how they can add even more guns and enemies at this point????????#and yes i am aware of maw. yes. i know. i recognized the voice immediately. i havent fought him yet.#dont worry if i was going to get infected by brainrot it would have happened at first sight and it didnt. youre all safe.#turbo overkill #edit: ok LOL i just heard one of his monologues oh god he is like a 4chan user about to end up on a watchlist. reaper/revenant type of edge
