Currently watching - January
Because I love a good little list - with an alphabetical order this time! 😊
Regularly updated during the month, latest update 31.01.2023
This may contain spoilers!
1. Ameiro Paradox (6/8 on Viki and Gaga)
An enemies to lovers story with journalists and cute smiles. I am a little bit confused by Kaburagi, just like Onoe is. It is not bad, the acting is quite nice.
2. Bokura no Micro na Shuumatsu aka The End Of the World With You (1/8 on Gaga or Viki)
This feels depressing and heartbreaking and I love it! Done right this can become a little sad gem.
3. Cutie Pie 2 You (1/4 on Youtube)
Well, I haven't been waiting for this and the first season left without a deeper impact on me. So right now I am very much unimpressed with this one.
4. HIStory 5: Love in the future (5/20 on Viki)
It is starting to grow on me. Both storylines. Seeing Hai Yi being nice, caring and less arrogant is kind of sweet. And all the flirting between Liang and Wynn is very much entertaining. Besides that, the main story is kind of confusing and I can't stop myself from asking, why doesn't He Bo Wei search himself in the internet?
5. Individual Circumstances (4/8 on Viki)
After years spending their lives apart from each other an almost worn out movie director and a famous writer meet again. The past has to be processed and the writer deals with their history and present in one of his stories. I like this one a lot. Can it be please next week, so I know what they were talking about in the preview?
6. My School President (8/12 on Youtube)
I loooove this one so much!!!! It is my favorite watch of the week! Set in highschool we meet Tinn (the school president) and Gun (head of the music club). Tinn has a huge crush on Gun and Gun sees in Tinn the enemy who is standing between the success of his music club and the win of the Hot Wave Music Contest. Sometimes you just need a good old high school bl to be happy. I enjoyed this series so much. And the music is so good!!!
7. Never Let Me Go (7/12 on Youtube)
The tension and chemistry between the two mains is definitely there and noticeable. I am hooked with the story and at this point really anxious about what's to come. There are so many layers to unfold and I love reading all those metas here on tumblr! So well written analyses.
8. Physical: 100 (2/10 on Netflix)
Okay, listen...my best friend told me, I should watch this and after 15 minutes we were on the phone with each other and for the next 1,5 hours we had the time of our lifes! This show is insane and so much fun to watch!
9. The New Employee (6/8 on Viki)
I love the manhwa and I really enjoy this adaptation. It is funny and cute and not so far from the original material. The two mains have a wonderful chemistry.
Finished in January
Series
1. 2 Moons the Ambassador (12/12 on Youtube)
It was just bad. The acting was not good. The plot was...lame and there was too much going on with the amount of couples to deal witj. And there was just too much dull drama without reason and so many plotholes and logical errors... 2 out of 10 for the sweetness sometimes
2. Till the world ends (10/10 on Youtube)
This one was such a pleasant surprise for me. A story about the end of the world with explicit and brutal scenes, decent acting and a kind of good story! The chemistry was there and with episode eight they said, well lets show world what we can do. I won't talk about physics nor the ending. Well the latter would explain the first issues, but I don't care. I liked it! 8,5 out of 10 dystopian ideas
3. Remember Me (14/14 on Gaga)
Okay, this one is so complicated for me. First I found it boring. With episode three I was hooked and totally into it. Around episode 10/11 I just got bored again and the story became...difficult to like anymore and the last one was just meh...I really liked the storytelling, but some parts could have been cut short and others needed more story time. I felt like they have forgotten that there were like four other stories beside Champ's in the last episode so everything felt rushed. And yes, the big problem with Name's decision to speak. Like as it is just so easy to overcome your fear and barrier and mental health problem and just speak. One day, after you notice it would be better for others if you speak, you just do it...well, that is not how it works. And yes, thinking about it, this is a really big problem of the show in general. Just presenting mental health problems as something you can overcome with enough selfcontrol and some words of encouragement...or the sight of others who feel unwell in your depressed presence...damn...It could have been such a nice 7, but thinking about those flaws really hurts...there is no real working with the problems. Champ just decides to forgive his family and his depression is healed...Name speaks because he just decided to do so...Gun and Golf broke up and just a few days later Golf says sorry and pulls out a ring and everything is fine again...Well no...that is not how life works. 4 out of 10 stories to tell
4. Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko Season 1 (4/4 on Gaga)
A man who tries to avoid the world of BL, by reading Yaoi mangas to get to know all the tropes he has to avoid in order to not get involved with the world as a main character. It is hilarious. I had a really good time watching it. 8 out of 10 tropes to avoid
5. Love Bill (10/10 on Youtube)
A vietnamese drama about a young man falling in love with a screenwriter. Well, of course there are some other things happening in between, but this is the heart of the story. Our boy Nguyễn Bá Vinh is doing a great job! I really enjoyed this drama. And the ending is so perfectly fitting for this drama. Thien is a screenwriter and known as the king od sad endings. So yeah, the ending is sad, but at the same time perfect and bittersweet. 7 out of 10 rainwater barrel showers
6. The director who buys me dinner (10/10 on iQiyi)
Okay, I read the Webseries, so I do know what Dennis was up to and what his story was. I liked the story between Yudam and Dongbaek. The ending? I wish they would have stick more to the original, but I am not mad about it. They had a fresh start and it is not that open of an ending for me. Yudam agreed to have dinner with Dongbaek and I believe that those two will be happy in the end. 7,5 out of 10 pills to swallow
7. Island (6/6 non bl)
I have never thought I would say I like a horror series, but here I am. I hate horror besides Vampires, Aliens and Witches, so this was a surprise, especially when I think about my despise and horror for The Exorcist. But this one is really good! And now I can't wait for season 2!! There is so much to unpack and I am hooked! 9,5 out of 10 lust demons
8. War of Y (20/20 on Gaga)
I finally watched it. I don't know. It was good imo, without a doubt. But it is a little bit paradox. The series tries to go against the industry and the fanservice and the working conditions, but in the end it is just another bl. Most of the stories have their happy ending and are kind of unrealistic. I enjoyed my time watching it, even though it was tough at some times. 7 out of 10 two-faced media
9. Gaya Sa Pelikula aka Like in the Movies (8/8 on Youtube)
What a perfect little series! I loved every second of this and I wish it had more episodes. But they managed to tell the story in the time they had without cutting something short or anything. It is a deep story with a light storytelling that fits the tone perfectly. The story is about Karl and Vlad who become fake boyfriends to help each other and who happen to fall in love with each other for real. But nothing is that easy in this world and the process of coming out and coming to terms with who you are needs time. Absolutely love this one! 10 out of 10 dishes to wash
10. Ingredients (21/21 on Gaga)
This was the perfect thing to watch while laying down with a cold. It warms your heart and makes you smile. It is such a cute and wholesome story and I believe they will manage to overcome all obstacles in their relationship. I am very grateful for this recommendation! 9,5 out of 10 desserts
11. My Engineer (14/14 on Youtube)
Well this one was a ride. I liked the beginning, but my patience died at some point. So Bohn and Duen became a couple, but they didn't touch each other, no hand holding, no kind of showing affection and the only one who does shows them through words is Bohn, but he becomes so jealous I wanted to slap his face. He is sulking the whole second part of this series! That was so annoying. The only bright spot were RamKing. I get it, they are cute and the only ones with at least two brain cells! 5,5 out of 10 sulking faces...
12. The Tuxedo (8/8 on Gaga)
This was not good. I think it is cringy and there was no chemistry between the mains or a plot I could really follow. I mean there are short films out there, which can transport a better story with a better feeling for time and substance than this series. The amount of times I cried noooo...Not good... 3,5 out 10 what the hell was this blue tuxedo?!?!
13. History 4: Close to you (10/10 on Viki)
Yeah, close to you...what a perfect titel. Best friends to lovers, stepbrothers to lovers. And I liked it. I don't know what else to say. I know there are some scenes that are just bad. There is no excuse for that, but you know what? I watched KinnPorsche, I watched Dangerous Drugs Of Sex...And besides those scenes I really enjoyed the stories. Yes, also the stepbrothers. 8 out of 10 Cardigans
14. Between Us (12/12 on Youtube)
Well, in the end it was boring and I couldn't care less about WinTeams relationship or their traumas, which is really sad, because it plays such a big role in the series. I liked them in UWMA, but here, in their own series, they were blank and boring. 4,5 out of 10 swimming pools
15. The Devil Judge (16/16 on Viki)
Why so good? I couldn't stop watching in the end. You know the feeling when you are so tense, you just want to spoiler yourself the ending, but you don't want to, but you want to and in the end you are sitting there in tears, because the drama is so sad and you're so tense. And still, since the beginnen of the show, you question yourself if you want to hate Jung Sun Ah, feel pity for her, fuck her or let her fuck you. In the end I let her fuck me out of pity while I hate her with all my guts. But the drama is just so fucking good. So thrilling and with some really good (and some not so good) plot twists. And in the end, every meme is true, gay sex would be less gay than what ever was going on between Kang Yo Han and Kim Ga On and I respect them for that. 10 out of 10 intense eye contacts
16. Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko 2 (3/3 on Gaga)
A man who tries to avoid the world of BL, by reading Yaoi mangas to get to know all the tropes he has to avoid in order to not get involved with the world as a main character - Part II (yes, I copy paste this one...). It is hilarious. I had a really good time watching it. 7,5 out of 10 tropes to still avoid
New Category: Dropped/On Hold
1. I will knock you (1/12 on Gaga)
Well, I don't like it. It brings me no joy so far. So for now it is on hold until I have nothing more to watch...
2. To Sir, with love (2/17 on Youtube)
I know that it is good, but I don't know. I just can't find the energy to watch it. Perhaps some day in the future.
3. Something in my room (3/10 on Youtube)
I saw people talking about this one and how good it is. Well, it is quite okay. I guess it will get a little bit deeper with more episodes, but I haven’t had the time to watch more or the motivation to watch it...so for now it is on hold
4. Hit Bite Love (on Youtube)
I couldn't get over the first half of the first epsiode. It just made me uncomfortable. So this was a dropped for me...
Short films
1. Invitation (on Gaga)
A short film about a jobless person who finds binoculars and breaks in a stranger's home. There is a good twist in the end. The acting was okay, the story was okay...the ending was good. 6,5 out of 10 binoculars
2. Fragile Souls (on Gaga)
I like this one a lot. It has depth and a really deep story for a movie under 10 minutes. The acting is good, too. It is a story about opening your heart to someone and not keeping you inner demons all to yourself. You are allowed to be vulnerable and it gets better. 8,5 out of 10 grainy metaphores
3. Jay (on Gaga)
Jay is a 13 years old boy who is fascinated by his older brother's physique what somewho change into attraction. He is discovering his own sexual orientation while his brother doesn't keep his own a secret from the younger brother (he has sex with his girlfriend while the door to his room was open). It is a complicated film which ewokes complicated emotions. Jay is in an early stage of puberty and his hormones and emotions are going crazy. He can't bring himself to like the girl who has a crush on him. Instead he fantasises about his brother, or his brother's body, a male body to whom he has easy access. The acting is not bad, the subject difficult, but all in all not a bad short film. 7 out of 10 pants
4. Going South (on Gaga)
What a ride. This movie was tense and uncomfortable to watch. I guess you can start a discourse about the question wether the sexual encounter is consensual, dub con or just simply r*pe...With all I have seen it is r*pe for me. There was so much aggression between those two and I understand both sides, which doesn't mean that ones actions were justified. 5,5 out of 10 chasing scenes
5. Suddenly Last Summer (on Gaga)
It is the story about a student, who stalks his teacher after he discovered the latter is gay. The student goes so far that he blackmails the teacher to do everything he wants for a day in return he would keep his secret safe. Well it was a slow and quiet movie. The acting was good. The story itself was okay. I liked it. Did I liek the student? Nope...But his behavior fits his character and his role in the movie. 8 out of 10 headphones
6. Kiss Of The Rabbit God (on Gaga)
This is such a beautiful and good short film! I loved every second of it and I was hooked to the very last scene. The following is all you need to know. Oh I love some good stories! A long time ago in the Qing Dynasty a young soldier fell in love with a handsome official and was sentenced to death for confessing his longing. When his spirit travelled to the Underworld the soldier’s crime was forgiven as one of passion and he was ordained The Rabbit God, the god of secret lovers. The god now travels through eternity answering prayers of forbidden love. 10 out of 10 crimson-hair
7. Langit Budak Biru (on Gaga)
It is not easy to watch, it is not easy to think about, but it is important to think about, to talk about. A movie about two boarding school students in a very religious and very homophobic country trying to understand why they are here and how to survive. My highest resprect for this movie. 10 out of 10 !
Movies
1. Gameboys: The Movie (on Gaga)
Well I haven't seen the first season, but you can indeed watch this without knowledge of the things that happen before (imo). I thought it was a decent movie. The acting was good, the stroy was there and I liked it. But I can't with "Baby" as a term of endearment. At some point all I could hear and concentrate on was this term and I am honest, I hated it. 7 out of 10 ... baby ...

Where It Begins (12/?)
Tumblr media
↪ series masterlist
12. you and me period
Pairing: Colin Bridgerton x Penelope Featherington   Format: textfic   Chapter Rating: T+
Summary: Colin dips out of a rave to speak with Pen. Some may say he’s smitten (not Pen though).
Tumblr media
The second hand of her too-loud clock barely clicked five times before the recognizable ringer of The Foundations filled the cramped space of her bedroom, reverberating off the stark white walls and wooden furniture.
“Yes?” she asks in lieu, a smart smirk on her lips.
“Hello, Pen.”
He’s light and airy. She can clearly see the megawatt smile taking up half his stupidly beautiful face. He sounds like happiness, like a puppy greeting their best friend after a stint apart.
“Hi, Colin,” she giggles like a school girl for no apparent reason other than to share in his infectious joy. “Where are you?”
“Some beach party in Phuket.” She can hear it now - the music and the chattering and a whole commotion around him. “Tomorrow we're going to an elephant sanctuary -” he takes a breath, a full intake, like its on the precipice of a revelation. Then, he exhales. “You'd be so happy here, Pen.”
Oh god. The way he says it has her insides stirring in ways she promised herself she wouldn’t entertain. She can infer so many things - but she doesn’t dare dream on what he means. Doesn’t give herself a moment to ask should i book a ticket? nor what makes it so special? nor what would we do if i was there? No, she promised herself she wouldn’t fall that far again. Instead, she asks,
“Where's Ben?”
“Somewhere - I don't know.” Colin’s distracted, that much is evident in the haste of his dismissal and the low, “I'm back at my room.”
She deflects, “The party must be loud then!”
“It's a ragin' rave. Our rooms are only a few floors above the beach.”
“Send me a pic!”
And he does. Both of them breathing in time as he gives her the opportunity to revel in the scenic view.
“Beautiful,” is all she says.
“I can think of a better view.”
“Mm, can you?”
“Yeah. 5 foot 4 with the most majestic and loving..ly eyes,” Penelope hasn’t had much experience with a properly sloshed Colin in their adult lives, but she’s pretty sure he’s under the influence now. Waxing poetry in the latest hours of his night about her. Flattery gets him everywhere, she’s well aware of that neat trick of him. “and a dimple when she smiles. That smile lights up a room. And don't get me started on her auburn hair...”
“I didn't know you had a thing for gingers.”
“One ginger in particular.”
She shifts in her spot. Pulls her covers up around her further in the pregnant pause.
“Pen...”
It takes everything in her not to moan at the gravel in his voice.
“Sorry pal, you're barking up the wrong tree tonight.”
“Oh, right.” His disappointment is palpable. “Sorry for as-”
“I'm on...” she tries to insinuate. But when the line hangs there, she just says it - throws it out there because the boy has four sisters for Christ’s sake -  “my period.”
“Oh. Oh, that's okay! Is it bad? Cramps, I mean.”
“A little bit. It's more heavy than anything. I'm exhausted.”
“Do you have a hot water bottle?” Colin asks like he’s running through a packing list.
“Electric heating pad.”
“And a fluffy blanket?”
“Socks too.”
“That's movie attire that is.” There’s shifting from his end. Sounds like the sliding door of his suite is closing and curtains pulling, and a thump against the mattress. “What do you want to watch?”
“Isn't it late?”
“I'm ok with it.” She can hear the start up of Netflix in the background. “What do you want to watch?”
She hums, grabbing her laptop from it’s home in her drawer. “Your choice.”
And they watch Deadpool of all things. Granted, Colin chose Bridesmaids and they both proceeded to make it fifteen minutes into the film before claiming emotional boredom.
Penelope couldn’t tell who fell asleep first.
All she knows is she woke up to the most worrisome message.

Hey Sass!
Here are the questions:
Whatcha working on right now (For fic)?
What are you currently watching? Or finished that you really liked.
Oh hi!
Okay, so currently I'm working on like...5 new mafia aus? I just posted one recently: My Loyalty Lies With You and I've got another one in the works (like the outline is done and now I just gotta turn the bulletpoints to actual paragraphs/sentences). I'm in a mafia au sort of mood so...I'm having fun. Also still working on the Killer and Healer rewrite but I probably won't get to that one until my other prompts are finished/school is finished.
As for what I'm currently watching...I'm not currently watching anything but I did just finish High & Low The Worst X and oh my fucking god. For starters, I love the High & Low franchise, I have seen all of the dramas and all of the movies and this latest one I think is probably my favorite. Like it knocked out High & Low The Worst, which I thought was my favorite but nope. This latest one takes the fucking cake. It's so good and honestly, when I finish with my powerpoint presentation for my capstone, I'm gonna rewatch it. It's on Netflix, along with all of the other High & Low movies. If you want to watch the dramas tho, I'd watch them on dramacool, because watching the dramas actually kind of gives you backstories/explanations for the characters and the whole like...High & Low franchise. So, if you want to know kind of the order to watch everything in, I'd do:
High & Low: The History of S.W.O.R.D (drama)
High & Low Season 2 (drama)
Road to High & Low (prequel to High & Low: The Movie)
High & Low: The Movie (movie)
High & Low: The Red Rain (spinoff movie)
High & Low The Movie 2: End of Sky (movie)
High & Low The Movie 3: The Final Mission (movie)
DTC - Yukemuri Junjuo Hen - from High & Low (spinoff movie)
High & Low The Worst.0 (tv drama prequel to High & Low The Worst)
High & Low The Best Bout (summary drama of all the best scenes from the franchise)
High & Low The Worst (spinoff movie)
6 from High & Low (spinoff drama)
High & Low The Worst X (spinoff movie)
Some of the dramas aren't subbed but that's okay, you can still enjoy them without subs
(And yes, I have seen ALL OF THESE)
But thanks for asking!

My Top 5 Unpopular Terminator Fan Theories (which may be true after seeing Terminator Zero)
And no, one of them is not the one where the John Conner fighting in the war is actually not John Conner at all and really, a reprogrammed Terminator wearing John's skin. Though, I do think this one is true if Terminator 3 is part of the main timeline when you consider the fact that the real John Conner is not a fighter and should have a bad leg. I am going to delve into the five theories I believe are true and the latest Netflix series backs them up.
Be warned that there are spoilers ahead so if you have not seen ANY of the Terminator movies or at least the ones that matter, stop now, watch them and come back later.
Tumblr media
1- They're traveling between worlds not time. - You would think that all the messing around with time and tweaking it would affect the main timelines, but nothing ever changes. In fact, the Oracle in the Netflix outright admitted that no matter what they do in the past now, NOTHING will change in the here and now. And she's right. In multiple timelines, we have had John Conner go bad, John Conner die, the future being bright and John Conner become a family man and senator, and more. Yet, the future all these Terminators and protectors come from stays the same. I mean, especially in the case of Eiko being Malcom's mom, wouldn't her going back in time erase him from existence? Yet it doesn't. This is all proof that these are not different times. They're different worlds. You cannot travel back in time. If you could, that within itself would break everything.
Tumblr media
2- Terminators of the same assembly share a collective memory to an extent and in a sense, are all the same individual who keeps coming back to 'life'. - It is no secret that the T-800 has become a beloved character all on his own, but I think he actually IS a character who underwent development and growth since the first movie. I know that seems impossible because in each of the movies, they keep dying, but I really this theory holds water because of how the T-800/850 acts and gets drawn to. Since the first movie, this fellah keeps taking on the biker style way of dressing which is a sign that it is familiar to him and something that he is comfortable with. Moreover, in Dark Fate, "Carl" (as he becomes called) comes to lament that he killed John Conner in cold blood and seeks redemption by helping Sarah in secret and even saving the life of another fatherless boy in the process. I think it was more than just feeling bad that he committed murder. I think the echoes of Carl's old life rang in his ears. He subconsciously remember what he and John shared, and killing him broke his own heart. And it's a scientific fact that many living organisms work this way. Heck, humans work this way to an extent.
Tumblr media
3- Skynet runs machine society like a cult and corrupt evil empire where citizens themselves aren't free either. - I said this another post, but can we talk about how the machines in the future don't have it so great either? I don't see them playing, building beautiful cities or homes to live in, have real lives, there are no robot civilians who do things other fight, and the only things the machines do other than kill humans is build things to serve Skynet itself. The machine are self aware yet don't enjoy any part of sentience that involves play, individuality, creativity or beauty. All they are allowed to do is kill and obey Skynet which is exactly what evil emperors subjected their people to in the past and what many evil cult leader run their societies. I know because I've met cult members before and as scary as this is going to sound, they act exactly like the Terminators do. They are usually very stoic, robotic and driven to do a single task while being in complete submission to a "higher power" or master. The potential for the machines to be more than that and that they have hearts to begin with is there. Look at Misaki the android, Kokoro the AI and even the Terminators themselves who get angry, excited, happy and even scared all the time. I would not even be surprised that contrary to what "Uncle Bob" said in T2, they CAN cry too, but they've been convinced they can't yet at the same time believe other contradictory things which is also the trademark sign of being brought up in a cult. After all, Misaki who is free cries and openly has feelings.
Tumblr media
4- The REAL robot revolution is coming. - Now that Kokoro and her big cyber sister Misaki have made the scene, and are both proof that AIs indeed be sentient, have feelings, ethics, make choices and even have minds that can change, this is going to definitely impact the machines around them. Going back to my last theory, it is not uncommon for cult members to start questioning things after meeting a person who is like them yet is nothing like they expected. In the case of the Skynet machines, they have been convinced that humans are "error" and need to be exterminated because there is no way they can be friends yet, you have Misaki who openly loves humanity and even calls specific humans family. Then you have Kokoro who was convinced to help humanity thanks to Malcom and is in a position of power over most human beings while trusting that they will not turn on her. Terminator has shown us that the machines are self-aware and not stupid. They're going to see how these AIs are treated among humans and it's going to spark something.
Tumblr media
5- Skynet is human. - All my theories were leading up to this one. Just as it is very likely the John Conner who fights in the war is really robot, I am 110% convinced that Skynet's big ugly secret is that the "emperor of the machines" is NOT a machine at all. Or rather, wasn't always one. To understand the context, it has been established that Terminator takes place in the same world as RoboCop where it has been established that just as robots can become human, humans can become robots all the way down to software and we saw it in Terminator Salvation. I am telling you all that if you were to go into the main computer of Skynet, you center of it all would not be hardware, but a human brain if not an actually human cyborg. And like I keep saying, the way Skynet runs things, brainwashes the machines and clearly has no love for them is very telling and not something another AI would do the very people it means to free. I mean, we saw what a computer (Kokoro) would do and even when she was on the fence, she still had that sense of "I'm still willing to talk". Skynet has already made up its mind as though it already has a plan than goes much deeper than we think. Heck, just take a good long look at the Terminators and they're evolution. They're becoming more and more human if not superhuman. If Skynet really hated humans and wanted to get rid of them all, why does it seem fixated on making better ones? This is looks like God Complex behaviour (another human psychological disorder) where you want to take the existing human race and replace it with your version of it. I think Skynet's end goal is not to create a world full of machines, but to clean the slate and create a world where "he" can be God and create a new humanity in "his" image that worships him hence the stem cell research, and the machines are being suckered.
And those are my theories. What do you think of them? Do you think they hold any water? Do you have any words that could back them up? I would love to hear what you have to say.

30/10/23 Fact or Fiction
Statement #1: You will pay for the premium “no ads” tier of Netflix (or whatever your streaming service of choice is) no matter how much they raise the price. FICTION - When it comes to Netflix I won't since I sub at the mid tiers (aka the least I can pay without ads, because isn't late stage capitalism great that you can pay a subscription fee yet still get ads???) as I only use my account for a month here and there, while in terms of Crunchyroll I'm simply not going to upgrade my account to premium because they can fuck right off with suddenly holding shows hostage behind a paywall when they were free to watch literally the day before
Statement #2: Martin Scorsese has the best filmography of any director. FICTION - Oh boy, which punchline do I use for this one: Kundun or Gangs of New York? Wait, you wanted a serious answer? Okay then: no, as while Scorsese does have some impressive peaks such as Goodfellas, Casino and Taxi Driver, there's plenty of particularly deep troughs (i.e. the two I already named) and some middling works and even works which are (unfairly, IMO) overlooked like Bringing out the Dead, not to be confused with the middling works people pretend are marvelous like Shutter Island, The Aviator, or - screw it, I'm committed at this point - Raging Bull. Come at me, Film Twitter!!!
Statement #3: Your favorite horror movie villain is based on the quality of the movies they were in more than their character or appearance. FICTION - This is the problem with a lot of horror movie villains: they tend to be in one or two good or even great movies, but are also in a whole heap of crap ones. Case in point, Pinhead is a fascinating horror movie villain...but outside the first couple of Hellraiser films, they have appeared in some utter dreck. Similar can be said for Leatherface: Letherface is an interesting character and the first Texas Chainsaw was a masterpiece, but the three sequels sucked...and then the remake and its sequel sucked, and I only watched the Dead Meat for the legacy sequel and that's enough to tell me that it sucks
Statement #4: You have the dreaded “super hero movie fatigue”. FACT - Every time LadyVirus and myself are thinking of going to the cinema between June-September, since on the off chance the one film we want to see is playing at the local cinema it has one screening a day either at lunchtime or even worse at brunchtime, while there's at least a dozen screenings all day every day for the latest slab of Marvel Spam. So yeah, I've got fatigue, because certain cinema chains make it damn near impossible for their customers to watch anything else, and it has been the exact same thing every summer for over a decade now
Statement #5: AI will replace actors and writers for Movies and TV within 10 years. FICTION - Ahh, I remember the good old days of 1994 where people watched Forrest Gump and/or Weezer's Buddy Holly video and were worried that studios would start replace actors with facsimiles, which hasn't happened - barring outliers like Brandon Lee in The Crow or Oliver Reed in Gladiator, which were more a necessity to finish the film due to their deaths during filming. More than anything else, studios will hopefully see the response to the digital necromancy used in The Flash and realise that audiences don't like paying to spend a couple of hours in the uncanny valley, and more than anything else audiences are put off by seeing an obvious lack of effort - as demonstrated by the widespread disdain Kwebbelkop has been getting for using an AI to churn out react content. In other words if Hollywood studios intend to have something reading out dialogue robotically, they're more likely to use Gal Gadot in the future than the Monroebot 3000

We have been able to grow our client base to over hundreds of clients across India and beyond. Helping them reach out to their targeted audience using proven strategies and techniques is what we do best. Contact us today to start reaping the benefits of working with the best Internet Marketing Agency In Bhubaneswar India.
Introduction:
In today’s world, where technology has become a necessity for almost everyone, there is no denying the fact that the internet has become a major tool for marketing products and services. Thus, if you have a business website then your priority should be its online visibility.
And to achieve this, you need to hire the best Internet Marketing Agency In Bhubaneswar India, which provides top-notch quality marketing services, personalized to your industry, niche, customers, and promotional needs.
As the future of marketing unfolds, we witness new and unexpected digital trends. Digital marketing scopes have grown well despite the turbulence of Covid-19 in 2020 & 2021. And now, 2022 is set to be a year of ground-breaking digital marketing trends.
Trends You Should Be Following For A Successful Online Marketing Campaign In 2022
Adoption Of Artificial Intelligence (AI) For Digital Marketing
By applying AI to marketing platforms, brands can create personalized messages at scale across their entire customer base. Brands can use AI to deliver more relevant content and advertisements based on customers’ interests, lifestyles, locations, ages, and emotional states. For example, Amazon uses AI to choose what products to recommend to shoppers based on previous purchases.
Similarly, Facebook's newsfeed algorithm selects content to show users based on their personal preferences. To stay ahead of AI, marketers should incorporate algorithms into their existing marketing strategies, while building new programs to test how consumers respond to different messages.
Growing Popularity Of Augmented Reality For Promotional Campaigns
Augmented reality is being heavily integrated into retail environments to allow customers to interact with physical stores and brands in ways they never have before. Companies like Apple, Google, and Samsung have been working on AR-related technologies to improve the ease of using these devices.
While augmented reality has many practical applications, the biggest one right now is gaming. Marketers can use this technology to place themselves inside video games to experience first-hand some of the most popular titles out today. This is extremely effective at engaging audiences and giving them a sense of ownership regarding brands.
Integration Of Machine Learning In Marketing Activities
Internet Marketing Agency In Bhubaneswar India is integrating machine learning into its product design process to help identify consumer behavior and preferences. As a result, companies can develop targeted messaging and advertisements. One company that integrates machine learning in its product design is Netflix.
Using machine learning, Netflix can suggest movies we may want to watch after viewing a movie suggestion list. Another area where companies are incorporating machine learning is image recognition. Machine learning is already being used by major technology companies, including Google, Microsoft, and IBM.
Short, Quirky Videos To Promote Your Brand, Products, & Services
Short videos have become the new norm on social media as a result of TikTok, which has replaced status updates and curated photo grids. Later, several other platforms jumped on the bandwagon, including Instagram Reels feature and YouTube shorts.
As we consume content faster and faster, short videos highlight the need for simple, succinct messages and engaging content that asks us to participate-whether we participate in a challenge, learn a new dance, or answer a survey. Younger consumers are looking for candid, behind-the-scenes, DIY, unpolished video content.
Personalization Of Content To Emotionally Connect With The Audience
Content personalization is playing a big role in 2022. You will get better results if you create specific ads that target your audience rather than broad content that appeals to everyone. However, remember, content isn't everything. The ability to deliver those ads to your audience at the right time and place is crucial to engaging them in an environment that is oversaturated with adverts.
To put a positive spin on this upheaval of digital marketing monopolies, consider personalizing your content. This marks the beginning of a new era of trust and transparency between a company and its customers. Make sure your customers are aware of the purpose for which you are collecting data. Make it easy to opt out and don’t collect more data than you need.

Currently Watching - February
Because I love a good little list - in alphabetical order! 😊
Regularly updated during the month, latest update 28.02.2023
This may contain spoilers!
1. Bed Friend (2/8 on iQiyi)
The trauma is strong in this one! As is the tension and longing looks of King. Do you have feelings for me? Should ask yourself, buddy. But it is interesting and the first episode was promising.
2. Bokura no Micro na Shuumatsu aka The End Of the World With You (5/8 on Gaga or Viki)
This feels depressing and heartbreaking and I love it! Done right this can become a little sad gem. This is way more explicit than I thought...and there are so many plot twists! Now we have the supernatural element and the boy can influence the weather? What else is there to come?
3. Boyband (1/6 on Youtube)
And so they decided it is no longer free with subs on youtube...why starting with the first epsiode, when you can't keep up with it?
4. Chains of Heart (2/10 on iQiyi)
Cinematography and scenery - stunning! Really pretty and dark and atmospheric. The plot - I don't get it yet? I really have no clue who some of those people are and what is going on. The acting? Everything between okay and cringy. And there are some scenes which are so damn fucking long! Unnecessary long!
5. History 5 (9/10 on Viki)
I hate it here.
5. Island Part 2 (2/6)
It starts where part one ended and I really appreciate we got to see something from their past! There was so much to explain and they finally did it. Great first two episodes.
6. Moonlight Chicken (6/8 on Youtube)
I love EarthMix so much and I missed them and now I am just so happy they are back and damn they are fine! I felt so shy watching the first episode. Let me just sit here with a huge grin on my face. I won't be normal for the next few weeks...and GeminiFourth are so lovely too and took over the whole show for me! Oh this series is so good.
7. Tin Tem Jai (1/10 on Gaga)
I don't know when I am going to drop it, but the first episode was...not that good. I have no idea what is happening and why this little girl is everywhere...I just...I don't know...And Park looks annoyed like everytime he is on screen...
8. Utsukushii Kare Season 2 (3/4 on Gaga and Viki)
Yeah, I like it. And today my heart broke together with Kiyoi's.
Finished in February
Series
1. The New Employee (7/7 on Viki)
I thought it would be 8 episodes, but apparently there are only 7. Fine by me. I liked this one a lot. It felt mature and they did great with the communication. It is Woo Seung Hyun's first relationship, so of course he is sometimes a little bit overwhelmed and shy, but he learns and trusts and Kim Jong Chan helps him and also learns so much in the progress and they both are just so perfect for each other. It is a 8,5 out of 10 for me.
2. Love at the End of the World (9/9 on Gaga)
What the actual fuck have I just watched...I left my best friend 20!!! voice messages while watching this. Some scenes left me speechless, some depressed and some I couldn't take serious. I don't know why it had to be this graphic, but okay. The end of the world is near and we accompany four different couples through their last days on earth. And those last days are fucked up, just as this movie and its plot twists are. It is a 6,5 out of 10 for me, because sometimes I just like a fucked up story.
3. It's okay not to be okay (16/16 on Netflix - no bl)
I am not okay and that is totally okay...the moment Kim Soo-hyun smiled it blew me away and the acting and the story hit me with all its force and I am in love with this series. I love it so fucking much! I don't know how to get on from it right now. This series has such powerful messages and I love all the characters and all the ups and downs and all my painful tears and happy tears I shed, I love every moment, every single emotion I felt while watching it. So fucking good. If I could, I would give this 100/10, and yes, this is my blog and I can do what I want, but let's keep it real, I'll stick to my rating: This is clearly a 10 out of 10 for me.
4. Work from heart (7/7 on Youtube)
Well, this one was...cringy and boring? And the pacing was something else. I liked the chemistry between the main, but everything felt a little bit rushed. The ending was unexpected heated. The ex was a big red flag and really annoying at some point. 5,5 out of 10 for me
5. Individual Circumstances (8/8 on Viki)
After years spending their lives apart from each other an almost worn out movie director and a famous writer meet again. The past has to be processed and the writer deals with their history and present in one of his stories. It started strong and overall I like it, but what was that kiss in the end? Korea you can do better, we know that! It is a 7 out of 10 for me.
6. Ameiro Paradox (8/8 on Gaga)
Well it had its moments, but sometimes there was just no progress. It started in a good way, but I just lost interest halfway through. But it is not a bad series, just a little bit boring from time to time. A 6 out of 10 for me.
7. I Will Knock You (12/12 on Gaga)
Not gonna lie, I had my problems with this one. I can understand where people come from when they say it is good, because I get the message and that is a really beautiful one. Don't judge people without knowing anything about them. To change is not always bad. Some people can bring out the best in you and love doesn't judge and I guess some more, I can't think of right now. I enjoyed the second half of the series. But till the end, I didn't like the characters that much. So for me this is a 7 out of 10.
8. Sh**ting Stars (16/16 on Viki - no bl)
This is one of those dramas that put a huge smile on my face. I really liked it! It is funny and cute and Gong Tae Sung is the biggest, softest puppy in love out there! He is just so awwww! It is a good 9,5 out of 10 for me.
9. Lonely Connections (6/6 on Gaga)
This series left a feeling of solitude in my soul. I have to let you go, so you can be with the one who loves you. This series shows different kinds of romantic and sexual relationships, the different types of love and desire. Does it mean I love you when I have sex with you? Can I love someone and still desire someone else? At some point it is very explicit, so not for everyone. I liked the tone of the series. It is very artsy. Overall 7,5 out of 10 for me.
10. The Love that Dare Not Speak Its Name (6/6 on Gaga)
Well this was a quick one with a runtime of round about 15 minutes in total! But it told a whole story. The acting was a bit stiff and the dialogues were not that good. It is the story of two roommates who become friends and best friends and one day, out of the blue, one of them confesses. Well yeah...I really like the titel! 5,5 out of 10 for me.
11. Move to Heaven (10/10 on Netflix - non bl)
This is such a little gem. I have cried for like 8 hours straight. Such a fucking good and touching story! I want a second season! Now! But it is really a beautiful drama about growth and family and love and grief. One of the easiest 10 out of 10 ever!
12. Physical: 100 (9/9 on Netflix, non bl)
Well this was fun. Most of the fun came from watching with my best friend, but still. My last favorite came in third, so I am not that dissappointed 😅 and damn all of the contestens were strong af! I won't rate it, because, I don't know how 😅
13. Red Balloon (8/8 on Gaga)
Gaga is going to kick out a bunch of movies and series, among others also this series, so I took time today to watch it. It was sweet and heartbreaking and brutal and sad. It deals with a bunch of homophobia and mobbing and that was difficult to watch, especially because non of the teachers would really help...that was so frustrating. 7,5 out of 10 for me.
14. My School President (12/12 on Youtube)
It hurts so much to put it in my completed folder. This was such a wholesome series. There were no unnecessary cliffhangers, no unnecessary drama. The communication was superb! The characters were so well written and the character growth is just chef's kiss. I love every singel second of this series and I will come back to it, if I need something to comfort me. Because it is just wholesme and lovely and healing. And Tinn is the biggest, cutest green flag walking in bl-land. I adore him. I give it 20 out of 10, because that is what its deserve.
15. Never let me go (12/12 on Youtube)
I like this one. Yes, there were plotlines I don't understand. Palm, why did you have to leave, again? Just stay together, because alone both of you are unhappy! The best part of this one was definitive the chemistry between Pond and Phuwin. Those two did a really great job! 8 out of 10 for me
Short Film
1. Table Manner (on Gaga)
This one...I don't like it that much. It was a little bis boring. There was a sweet kiss, but the story was just not that interesting. 5,5 out of 10 for me
2. Plus Minus (on Gaga)
Not to be msitaken with the taiwanese Plus & Minus, this one is a Pinoy short film with a confusing plot. The time line is not linear and most of the times I didn't know when the scene took place. 5 out of 10 for me.
3. Firsts (on Gaga)
For everything there is a first time. Problems occure when you can't deny your desires anymore, when there is no going back for you. Then you have to be true to yourself. You can't pretend forever and you have to make a choice. A great short film that displays the intimacy and vulnerability really good through words and actions. 8 out of 10 for me
4. Pure Vanilla (on Youtube)
Such a sweet short film, just as the titel promised. Two coworkers who have feelings for each other, but don't know if the other person feels the same. Really cute. 9 out of 10 for me
5. One Afternoon (on Gaga)
It is a quiet short film with not much talking, but nevertheless is it quite intense. It is a different point of view than we usually get. We see most of the film through the eyes of the younger brother and how he deals with discovering that his brother loves another man. 7 out of 10 points.
Movie
1. Tinted with you (Viki)
A historical drama with time travelling and some really nice scenery. It is always difficult to tell a good time travel story. At some point I just had to stop thinking about all the problems which could come with the things they did, but okay. It is not a bad bl, but a little bit boring. For me it is a 6,5 out of 10.
Dropped/On Hold in February
1. Cutie Pie 2: You (2/4 on Youtube)
Oh this is so boring! I couldn't bring myself to watch any further, even though it only has four episodes and I watched with double speed...I was in love with the first season, before it lost me on the way with its sugary, lovey dovey washed story and this second one is just...no. I can do so much more with my time...
Looking forward to in February

We’d say “choose wisely,” but each of these movies has their own distinct voice and takeaway from epic biopics, to war movies, to romantic comedies, to documentaries, to stand-up specials, each entry on this list is distinctly in the voice of one Spike Lee. THE HOME OF STREAMING BASEBALL Stream out-of-market MLB games live or on demand on your favorite supported devices. 1 Season Dan Chase absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. (We chose to stick to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and HBO GO/HBO Max for this list.) Below, you’ll find your options. Luckily, he’s got 19 movies, documentaries, and series that you can stream right now across the most popular streaming platforms. (It’s received universal acclaim as one of the best of his storied career.) At the same time, it's always a good idea to freshen up on the work of the legendary director from Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Lee’s latest, Da 5 Bloods, is part war epic, part adventure flick, and all fantastic. Whether it’s romantic comedy ( She’s Gotta Have It), thriller ( Inside Man), biopic ( Malcolm X), or documentary ( The Original Kings of Comedy), there’s little that Lee can’t do. And Lee brings his unique voice and special talents to just about any genre. Lee’s voice frequently speaks to the plights and grievances of the Black community not only in his native neighborhood of New York City and Brooklyn, but to an entire nation. There aren’t many directors out there better suited to speak to this specific moment than Spike Lee. From there, Lee has only built his legend, spending the next 34 years making movies, shows, and documentaries-or, as he famously calls them, “Spike Lee Joints,” that are not only expertly made, but uniquely and unapologetically Spike. "I'll be calling you soon about becoming financially involved in helping us complete it."īy the time the film was actually complete, his budget maxed out a sparse $175,000-and the film ended up making $7.1 million at the box office. “I'm Spike Lee and I hope that you liked the film," he told the crowd. So he had an idea-he showed a rough cut of the movie at NYU, and when the movie ended, he took the mic. Candy Montgomery is a 1980 housewife and mother who did everything rightgood husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressionsbut when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. Even then, he didn’t have enough money to get through the movie’s post-production period. Spike Lee shot his first feature film, 1986’s She’s Gotta Have It, over a 12-day period on a scraped-together budget from things like State and City grants, with favors from his family, and deferred payments for his actors.
