1. Thievin'

Jack: I will pick a pocket if the opportunity presents itself, but the church collection boxes is easiest, especially at this time of year.

Racetrack: That's a big risk Jack. They's always gonna be lookin' closer at a guy like you. it's just another form of gamblin', really.

Jack: Hey, you stay out of this, pal. You sound like Dave. And it ain't as if Ise stealin' stuff away from the intended recipients. Them funds is supposed to be for the poor and needy, right? Ain't we poor?

Racetrack: You want another card, or is we gonna sit here jawin' all night?

Jack: I fold.

2. Shovelin' walkways

Buttons: We charges two cents to do the stretch of sidewalk in front of your shop or your home, plus an extra penny if you wants your stoop cleared. Railings is free. And we gives a discount if you is old and feeble.

Romeo: Or if you is pretty.

Buttons: We do Jacobi's and the theater for free.

Jojo: But we charges extra if you looks like you can afford it. Miss Katherine taught us this is called bein' an entrepreneur.

Buttons: Hey, dummy, speak for yourself. I don't need no girl to teach me big words. In fact, I already knowed that one.

Jojo: Well I ain't needed to know it to do it. Ise a natural.

3. Encouragin' tips

Crutchie: I gets around all right, generally. Don't let no one tell you different. But ice and snow on cobblestones ain't no picnic for me. And damp weather like this, the leg won't hardly give me no peace. I miss a lot of sellin' days. But I got a compensatory seasonal advantage. Here's what I do: I fumble with the change. More often than not, by the time I gets the coins out of my pocket, they don't even want 'em.

Les: So what? I do that every single day of the year. It doesn't always work, but it can't hurt, right?

Crutchie: Youse real cute, Les. But let's just say someone like me gets more tips in December.

Les: Why?

Crutchie: Look. It ain't my fault some fella wrote a Christmas story about a kid with a crutch. It ain't my fault if i puts folks in mind of that kid. I didn't ask for it.

Les: But you're Jewish, like us. Aren't you?

Crutchie: Shh! Who told you that?

Les: Specs.

Crutchie: Well, keep it under your hat. There's money on the line.

Elmer: I'se the only who makes money this way because no one in their right mind would trust most of these boys. But I got a innocent face. And luckily for my regulars, I got a honest disposition to go along with it.

Albert: Complain all you like about the short, dark days of winter, but there is some things I happen to like about this time of year. Five things that make me happy...

1. Knowing that my loved ones are happy, healthy and safe.

2. (Especially specific today ☺️) Getting to go home, finally! Yay!

3. My new lingerie set, (with a H cup figure finding something pretty/sexy that fits can be a challenge 🤭).

4. Walking in the rain, getting soaked and heading home for a long hot shower and a rub down with warm vanilla oil..... Mmmmmm

Things that make me happy? I have a lot but if it comes to here I guess I can think of some things.

1: I like it when people reblog my stuff, especially the things that aren't overly popular. Like half of my art that has a shit ton of attention are of the smiling critter things and then I look at my OCs that have... Like 2 reblogs and maybe 4 likes. So I like it when people look my OC art because I worked a lot on those (even the lore bits)

2: I enjoy getting comments and asks about little things about myself, it's fun to write about the things I like.. And maybe getting asks for my OCs? I LOVE WRITING ABOUT THEM PLEASE SOMEONE ASK CECE SOMETHI-

3: I don't know why people use the tags to comment on people's posts when they reblog things but sometimes it can be so funny to see their reaction, and it's unironically the funniest thing. Also some of the messages of the reblogged posts are so funny 💀. The McDonald's Gabriel thingy I did that kinda blew up has so many people being like "yes I'll have (a food from the restaurant)" but yeah. Now I'm kinda just rambling lol.

4: These last two are kinda tricky because these never happened (yet) and I'm sure any artist can relate to the sheer volume of happiness that can suddenly materialize within you, but it's when people comment about my art and how much they love it, I know that I'm good at art it's just sometimes I kinda doubt my ability or get down on myself when things don't get attention but I gotta remember it's the stinky algorithm.

5: For this, I hope one day it'll happen. But I love getting fanart of my OCs, so far it's really only been my small friend group whose been drawing for each other, and even from them I get happy about seeing my OCs in their art styles or just doing stupid shit. Or with their OCs.

But yeah that's pretty much what I can think of.

I don't know how to do the askbox shit so I'll just ping 10 people here and hope I don't explode from doing things wrong, please don't drag me into the shadow realm.

Not to be a bummer but asking five things I like about myself is a bit tough, let's go!

1. I like the color of my eyes (dark green-ish)

2. I have a freckle on each collar bone and I love that, I appreciate the symmetry

3. There's always thoughts and songs running through my mind, I'm truly never bored even if it looks like I'm just staring at the wall

4. I'm decently good at drawing. Not so much from the top of my head, but I can look at things and draw them almost exact - there's like a grid system in my head to map out the lines.

5. I have a birthmark on my elbow that (to me) looks like a crown. If you've ever seen Barbie's Princess and the Pauper, then you know that means I'm a princess 👑

Rain. You ever listen to those thunder storm ambience vids on YouTube? 🤌 the sound is lovely and the smell following a good storm/rain 🥰

Music. That feeling when you find a song that itches your brain just right. I'm autistic and singing is a major stim for me, it gets out energy/emotions that I don't really know how to express otherwise

Journaling. I just kinda empty my brain out on paper whether it makes sense or not and it feels nice lol

Halloween and autumn in general. The scary movie marathons and all the lovely colors 😁 (rain with fall scenery is 🤌)

My dog has recently taken to sleeping in bed with me, love all the pupper cuddles 🐶🥰

i can sort through emotions fairly well and am a very introspective person

i've been told that i'm a very reliable person

i don't have any physical debilitations, so i'm very grateful for that

i tend to be my own person and speak my mind

i'm privileged to have all the fantastic friends that i do. idk what i'd do without them (u all know who u are ♡) but i'm very very blessed for all of those who interact with me. ty all for making me smile :)

ugh it's so awkward thinking about what i like about myself - it always makes me feel selfish or like i'm bragging or something 🫣

fun fact: i'm very modest
