OH well its not like a BAND band [tho i wish i could]. Instead its marching band lol. Ive already graduated from high school so im just helping my sister since its her last year in band/high school.

BUUT I played the Alto Saxophone! Also did Trumpet & Mellophone for a bit. Now though usually play piano/keyboard at home. [Not amazing at it but I can play all of The Mind Electric & Battle Against a True Hero!]

#also know like. VERY VERY little drums #Had some small experience watching and playing at school + a week event thing i went to like. 5-6 years ago.#tho i do intend on learning more of it when i can #+ bass guitar since i really like the instrument #i wanna play a lotta instruments lol #i also own a violin pffft #cant play it + it needs a new string but i wanna learn that as well #But main instruments i know and play are the saxophone & keyboard #tho i don't play the sax much since i hated 80% of marching band i still love the instrument #i have 2 saxs technically #or rather 1½ #one got ran over #its name was brian #i still have its flattened corpse #it holds up my keyboard ironically #moss post #why do i always have so much to say lol there's like 30 tags now oops #in short. played Sax for like 5-6 years. Piano for 6-7. Brass instruments for like 2-3. and i know vaguely how drums work #if could not tell I like music a lil bit #okay rant over bye bye

I hate that I play 5+ string bass and am interested in high-end bass-only pedals so no store in this godforsaken city has any of them in stock for me to fool around on and I refuse to buy anything I haven’t played

#im so sad to learn my main axe is no longer sold anymore #because every review I’ve come across of it has been ‘the best affordable 5 string absolute bargain’#I paid $300 for it used and it sounds like it would cost at least twice that #unfortunately the only other 6 string esp itds are. unappealing to me #unless I splurge for a $1k+ bass and idkkkkkkkk #I looooove esp but….. I know Ibanez has some affordable models that look nice #but please just let me win this dingwall I got entered for I’m begging #or maybe I’ll go a different route entirely and get an epiphone sg or a entry level telecaster LOL

practiced guitar until my fingies ached... which didnt take long bc i havent practiced guitar in weeks bc the move...

#🍒#i was thinkin bout puttin this acoustic bass on lay away so i could get her next paycheck but.... what if i got acoustic guitar instead..#it would just make practicing sooooooo much easier.... if i didnt have to set up and transition into practicing maybe id practice more...#im trying to out smart my add here so i can unlock my daily Hyper Focus in a posi way...#the thing is. i have 3 basses... a 4 a 5 and a 6 string...#i have one electric guitar... it does NOT have a whammy bar... which will become a problem the better i get at geetar...#there are so many options in this world............ and these ones are all good but i gotta make The Best choice....#the bassist is a failed guitarist meme is gonna be opposite for me #im busting ass trying to make bass interesting n challenging when... i could just learn guitar....#learn it FR this time...

#sasha speaks #symphony 2. wooow #the lush strings. those american style chords. the orchestration with the touches of harp and celesta and snare and brass...#the english horn and bass clarinet...ughh it's gorgeous writing #and that finale. what an ending!! that huge sfortz in the whole ensemble to subito pianissimo violins sustaining al niente #wooooww. i knew i liked still before since covering his first symphony in music history class but this is my first time hearing him live #and it's amazing. oughh #and beethoven 6 is next...cannot BELIEVE i got this ticket for less than twenty american dollars #such luck

Have I mentioned that trying to get into early music is a rich man's hobby and it pisses me off? Vihuela (the short 5 string guitar that you still see in mariachi bands) is around $500. Lutes are around $550. Rebecs and vielles (early fiddles) got for about the same. Viols (think fretted cellos) are over $2000. Baroque guitars are $1300. Shawms are $600. Outside of a few harps for $60, and of course modern recorders going for about $30, you have to PAY if you want to learn to play medieval or renaissance music. And these aren't historical instruments either, but modern reconstructions!

I guess I'm stuck in the ghetto of playing rock music for awhile longer
