How AI Can Book Meetings While You Sleep
How AI Can Book Meetings While You Sleep We need to talk about one of the biggest time-wasters in business; back-and-forth scheduling. You know the drill: “Does Tuesday at 3 work?” “No, what about Thursday at 10?” “Actually, can we do next week instead?” By the time you finally lock in a meeting, you’ve burned 15 emails and at least two brain cells. But what if I told you AI can handle…

Preventing Injuries with Real-Time Wearable Technology
Tumblr media
Real-time wearable technology is transforming injury prevention and patient care, offering unprecedented insights into human movement and health risks. These intelligent devices, equipped with advanced sensors and AI, continuously track biomechanical signals to help healthcare professionals anticipate and prevent potential injuries. One critical application is addressing pressure injuries—a persistent challenge that impacts patient quality of life and hospital costs.
Traditional preventive measures like frequent patient turning are often inconsistently followed due to the physical demands on nursing staff. Wearable technology sensors now emerge as a game-changing solution, providing continuous monitoring and proactive intervention strategies that traditional methods cannot match.
Key Findings:
1. Real-Time Interventions: Wearable technology sensors offer real-time feedback to ensure patients are turned on schedule. These devices monitor patient movement and positioning, alerting nursing staff immediately if a patient hasn’t been repositioned or if the turn angle isn’t sufficient to relieve pressure. This real-time capability enables prompt corrective actions, directly preventing injuries.
2. Enhanced Compliance: With sensors in place, compliance with turning protocols skyrockets. Studies show increases from as low as 15% to over 80%, reducing the manual effort of tracking patient repositioning.
3. Fewer Injuries: Real-time monitoring has led to a reduction in hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) by up to 70%. Patients are safeguarded against severe complications like deep tissue damage.
4. Economic Benefits: Hospitals benefit financially, saving an estimated $6,621 per patient by avoiding pressure injuries. This makes wearable sensors a cost-effective addition to patient care.
5. Improved Teamwork: Sensors encourage better communication and collaboration among nursing staff. They distribute the responsibility of turning patients more evenly, fostering teamwork.
Hospitals Leading the Way
Several hospitals have successfully implemented wearable sensor technology, demonstrating its effectiveness:
Stanford Health Care: A trial in two intensive care units showed a 73% reduction in HAPIs and improved adherence to turning protocols.
A Magnet Hospital in California: Turning compliance jumped from 67% to 95%, and sacrococcygeal HAPIs were reduced by 84.6%.
A Long-Term Acute Care Hospital in New Jersey: Achieved an 85% reduction in sacrococcygeal HAPIs with an average adherence to turning protocols of 87.3%.
A Medical Center in Pennsylvania: Over a year, this facility nearly doubled the national average for turn protocol adherence (90%) and reduced HAPIs by 67%.
These examples highlight how wearable sensors are revolutionizing care across various healthcare settings.
Challenges and Opportunities:
While wearable technology sensors excel in ensuring timely interventions, they don’t automatically improve the quality of turns (e.g., the precise angle needed to relieve pressure). Additionally, nursing teams need adequate training to fully leverage this technology and integrate it seamlessly into care routines.
Real-Time Innovations in Action:
The real-time intervention capability of these sensors is their standout feature. By promptly notifying caregivers, the sensors ensure no patient is left at risk for extended periods. Some devices even provide visual or auditory cues to further reinforce timely actions, making them a proactive tool in patient safety.
The Way Forward:
Wearable sensors are not a stand-alone solution but a vital component of a comprehensive prevention program. When paired with strategies like regular skin assessments and nutritional support, these devices can revolutionize how hospitals address pressure injuries.
Real-time fall prevention is a critical priority for hospitals and nursing homes. Discover how OK2StandUP is transforming patient safety and making a meaningful impact. Visit us at www.ok2standup.com to learn more.

Patient appointment management efficiency
Tumblr media
In today’s fast-paced healthcare environment, managing appointments efficiently is crucial for both patient care and operational success.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 A large dermatology clinic struggled with a high rate of patient no-shows, significantly impacting their revenue and operational efficiency. Despite sending email reminders and making phone calls, the clinic was unable to reduce the no-show rate effectively.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
The clinic decided to implement 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚'𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞 solution, a powerful tool designed to manage appointments through automated text messaging. The goal was to reduce no-shows by making it easier for patients to remember and manage their appointments.
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
1. 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒔: For patients who missed their appointments, SimpleChime sent an automated text with a link to an online scheduling portal, making it easy for them to rebook. 2. 𝑾𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕: SimpleChime automatically sends bulk messages to waitlisted patients when a patient cancels, quickly filling the slot. 3. 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒌 𝑴𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒔:  Allowing an ability to bulk messages saves time and reduces administrative overhead, allowing staff to focus on delivering excellent care.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬
After implementing SimpleChime, the clinic saw a remarkable improvement in their appointment management:
- 𝑵𝒐-𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝑹𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: The no-show rate dropped by 40% within the first three months. - 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒖𝒆: By filling previously missed appointments, the clinic saw a significant increase in revenue. - 𝑬𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: Patients appreciated the convenience of managing their appointments via text messages and the ease of rescheduling missed appointments.
𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚'𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 proved to be a game-changer for the dermatology clinic. By leveraging automated text messaging, the clinic was able to reduce no-shows, fill cancelled slots efficiently, and ultimately increase its revenue.

sunday mornings — jing yuan x reader
Tumblr media
"Come and rest your bones with me, driving slow on Sunday morning and I never want to leave."
sypnosis. [ 0.5k words. fluff. domestic + married life. ] — weekend bliss with your husband and son.
Tumblr media
“Yuan?”
“In the garden!” you hear Yanqing’s voice call out, echoing through the door from the kitchen.
You pad barefoot through the house, sleepily rubbing your eyes. It was a Saturday, meaning he would be over to spend time with his father to either play starchess or spar.
The moment you slide the glass door and curtains away, you see the both of them on the wooden floors of the patio playing the beloved game.
Yanqing goes to greet you with a smile and tells you they still have tea and you ruffle his hair affectionately, “Careful, baobei, he might steal your pieces again,” you tell him as you pass the two by to pour a cup of tea, drinking from your lover's teacup.
The boy reacts immediately and lunges for the man in front of him, “Dad, open your mouth, you better have not eaten the pieces again!”
“I have not eaten the pieces,” he whines as he opens his mouth for the boy to inspect, “It was one time…” he sulks as Yanqing returns to his seat, eyes narrowed as he makes an ‘i’m watching you’ gesture.
You chuckle at their shenanigans as you slink beside your husband, his hand naturally falling against the curve of your waist as you lean into his chest.
“How was your rest?” he asks and you feel the vibrations of his voice through the shirt he wears.
“It was well, could've been better,”
Yanqing makes a move and you feel him tilt his head then make his move as well.
“How so?”
“I could've woken up beside you,” you take a sip of your tea.
“Oh?”
You giggle from behind the teacup and glance towards Yanqing, he's unaffected by all of these by now.
Ah, you miss when he was a disgusted child telling you both to go get a room.
Nowadays, you only see him a few times a week, his position in the Cloud Knights and your schedule at the Alchemy Commission keeping you from your son.
You relish the moments on the weekends where you get to spend time with him. With both of them.
“Checkmate Xiao ‘Qing,” the general tells him and you see your son narrow his eyes before sighing.
He takes a sip of his own tea, “Nineteen years and you'd think he would let me win…”
You and Yuan share a laugh.
Yanqing never was good at losing.
“Well, next time, maybe,” your husband teases as he nudges your arm to give him a sip of the tea.
You raise your arm, no adjustments needed, just as you've always done in the past, he always did like it when you let him drink from the same cup.
Something about the intimacy of it, he says.
Yanqing smiles at your display.
Jing Yuan snuggles into the side of your face.
“How about a nap, Àirén? To make up for me not waking up next to you today?”
You placed the cup on the table and hugged his side.
“That would be a fitting solution, yes,”
It is hours later when you wake up still on the patio. Your head laying on Yuan's chest, his arm around you, sporting a smile on his face as he slept.
The sun has risen high in the sky, yet the clouds remain, providing shade along with the roof of the patio.
You spot Yanqing on the other side, his head laid on his father's arm as he slept peacefully.
Yeah, a few more hours of sleep wouldn't hurt.

Hello Bernthirsters!
How have you been? Have you been running around like crazy after seeing Frank again? Cause we sure have. That scene was absolutely amazing! We know that like us, you've all missed Frank so much, and just like last time, his introduction back into the show blew us all away. That man sure knows how to make an entrance. That's why Frank's reappearance is the perfect opportunity for us to let you know that we're planning a new event for June.
During the previous event, we honored Jon's TV show characters, so this time, we are going to do the same thing but with his movie characters. Between The Accountant 2 and The Amateur coming out this year, we're sure that we'll have brand-new material to work with. But we also hope that you'll show some love to the characters that aren't talked about often enough. For the TV show event, we went for one character per day, but this time we're doing a bit more of a theme event, since there are more characters than week days.
Tumblr media
Schedule: June 2 – June 8
Monday: Underrated
Tuesday: Iconic
Wednesday: Second Chance
Thursday: Sexiest
Friday: Best look/transformation
Saturday: Sweetest
Sunday: Favorites
Prompt Rules: These are subjective. When we say 'favorites' you can focus on either your favorite characters, scenes, movies, etc. and it applies to all categories. For the Second Chance prompt we want you to focus on those characters that had a less than fortunate fate, if you're a writer you could rewrite their ending. If you're an artist/gif maker you could tell us which character(s) you'd give a second chance.

5 strategies that have improved my executive functioning in 2023
1. Preparing tasks in advance
This tip has been one of the most useful things for me to be able to actually get the things I want to do done without getting stuck in the process. I am very prone to difficulties with task initiation and task switching. Basically I've found that if I check what activities are upcoming for that day in my calendar (but you can use any task that you want to do sometime that day) then I set the task up in advance it's a lot easier to actually do the task.
So if my goal is to stream after dinner then I turn my pc on and have my setup ready to go before dinner. If I want to do a Pilates workout I set up my mat an hour before I actually want to do the workout. If I want to go to the gym I get into gym clothes at the start of the day so I don't have to change later.
I basically eliminate all the difficult prep work and then I find doing the task so much easier when I get to it.
2. Task switching when stuck
A lot of neurodivergent people have issues with getting 'stuck' or 'frozen', myself included. Whether it's autistic inertia or decision paralysis or something else it's very common to find yourself unable to do anything at all. You'll know that even if you put your phone away or stop what you're doing you'll just continue to sit there doing nothing.
The solution to this for me has consistently been to switch goal. I want to get up and shower but can't? I'll find that I can pull my laptop out and get some work done instead (and then shower after lunch later in the day). I am stuck when I want to stream? I find I can do my skincare instead (and I ended up streaming the next day).
Yes this means you don't get your original goal done when you wanted but you get something done, and something is better than nothing.
3. Task chaining
I've found that task chaining is the easiest way for me to get multiple tasks done. It's basically building upon your success. Take the example from my task switching section where I couldn't get myself to start streaming so I decided to do my skincare instead. While doing skincare I remembered I wanted to ask my brother about a particular product. So suddenly I'm capable of going to ask him about it. I couldn't even get out of bed before but now I have the motivation to move (I keep my skincare next to my bed so I didn't have to get up prior to this). After talking to him I decide I can go downstairs and make tea (something I originally wanted to do before streaming but was too stuck to do). While downstairs my mother tells me that she has a pile of laundry for me. I decide to take it back upstairs and put it away immediately. While doing so I figure I may as well sort all the laundry that's piled up on my floor as well.
I've gone from not doing anything to completing 4 separate tasks. If I wanted to get up and put the clothes on my floor away originally I'd never have been able to do it. I built on my successfully completed tasks and chained them together. Of course you should still remember to rest after chaining a number of tasks together.
4. Prioritise harder tasks earlier
I get all my energy at the start of the day and feel quite tired by the end of the day. This is how most people feel due to how our circadian rhythms function. Because of this I have found it's a lot easier to get difficult tasks done in the morning.
So now instead of trying to clean my room or go to the gym at 5pm I'll do it at 9am. I'll save 5pm for my easy tasks, things like studying Korean, meditating, studying geography, and coding. Take some time to figure out which tasks you find easy and which you find hard. If you consistently find yourself unable to do a task that's a hint that it's difficult for you. Vice versa if you're consistently capable of a task it might be a sign it's an easier one for you.
5. Using an AI scheduler
I saved this one for last, not because it's ineffective, it's actually made a huge difference in my life. But it does cost money to take full advantage of this so I put it down the bottom. Still there's a lot to be said for using an AI scheduler. I hate choosing what to do and have always preferred to be told what tasks I should do each day. It also takes a huge amount of mental energy to decide what tasks I should do when each week and organise them in advance.
Enter Reclaim, the AI scheduler of my dreams (there are lots of other ones on the market too like Motion! Take a look around and see if you can find one you like but unfortunately they all seem paid). Reclaim does have a free version but for me their paid version is necessary to achieve my goals.
I set up all my tasks and habits in Reclaim, I can customise how often I want to do things, how long they should take, and what hours I have free. Then I just check my calendar each day and see what tasks I'm meant to do. If I end up taking more time than expected I just hit the 'reschedule' button on a task and it's automatically slotted in somewhere else that week. This has definitely made one of the biggest changes to my quality of life I could probably make a whole separate post about using Reclaim.
That's all the tips that have worked for me this year so far, maybe some of them might help you!

Beary Perfect Replicas
Written for @flufftober's Fluff Bingo. B2 - Plushie.
When I saw this prompt, I just knew it screamed Jake Jensen.
Tumblr media
Jake Jensen Masterlist | Fluff Bingo | Main Masterlist
Pairing: Jake Jensen x F!Reader (established relationship)
Word Count: 1432
Summary: Jake gets you a special gift because he wants to make your time away (due to both your jobs) a little bit easier.
Warnings: very sweet, sappy Jake; implied smut; fade to black; rest is just tooth-rotting fluff
A/N: I may have gone a little overboard with all the sweet fluff that's in this story. I regret nothing.
I do not give permission to have my works copied, translated, reposted, or fed into an AI machine.
*****
Your phone pinged with a text the moment you walked into your apartment.
Dropping your things in a heap near the door, you fished out your phone from your pocket. While you did typically leave it in your camera bag, you'd been busy with clients all day. Your pocket had been the easiest solution as you dealt with the busy day.
Exhaustion rolled over you and settled like an overweight, entitled cat on your shoulders.
Not another client question, you couldn't help thinking before your phone's screen lit up.
The familiar name showing on your screen with the notification dragged a smile across your lips.
Jake.
Your longtime boyfriend.
Oh, that was someone you wanted to hear from.
Unlocking your phone, you tapped on his message.
Your smile slipped a little as you read: Called into work. So sorry, babe. Wanted to be there. Miss you.
How long? I miss you, too, you typed back.
Barely any time passed before Jake sent you another that read: Unsure. Clay's being dodgy.
Well, poo.
You'd been hoping whatever new mission he'd been pulled into wouldn't be a long one. Between your schedules lately, the two of you hadn't been getting to spend much time together. A fact that wasn't lost on either of you. It'd been the reason you left the office early, determined to get an evening with Jake.
As if reading your mind, another message popped up on your screen: Oh almost forgot. Check bedroom. Special gift for ya.
Not needing to be told twice, you kicked off your shoes, unmindful of where they landed, then dashed across your apartment.
The door to your shared bedroom stood open a crack. It didn't give you much to go on until you pushed it fully open. You had no need to scan the room as your gift sat in the middle of your made bed.
The sweetest looking stuffed bear.
It took you another moment to take in all his little details.
When you did, you couldn't help the full smile that covered your face until your cheeks hurt.
The bear resembled one of those from Build-a-Bear, but it went beyond their limited options.
No, this one had been fully made into the almost-spitting image of your sweet and loving Jake. Little circular glasses rested on its nose in the same wire frames. It even had the goatee and the frosted tips on the tiny bits of hair they'd stitched between its ears.
The bear even smelled like him.
You had no idea how he'd made that happen, but it made your heart feel close to bursting. Your arms wrapped around the bear as tight as you could manage, just so you could breathe in the subtle scent wafting off its fur. You went so far to smush your face into its fur to better breathe in that soothing scent that Jake always had. He smelled like home.
Without realizing it, you accidentally activated another surprise Jake had installed on the bear.
His voice filled the room.
"Hey, love, I, uh, I-I'm not used to doing these, but I just wanted you to know how much I love you. You make every day so much brighter, and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. I know we can't always be together because of our jobs, but I thought this might help in those lonelier times. You're never far from my thoughts, and I really hope I'm in yours. Love ya, angel."
Hearing the falter at the start had your heart twisting, but his words came out stronger the longer he went on. It made your heart twist more as love filled you.
Oh, this man has been on your mind since the day you met.
You had few doubts he would remain on your mind forever at this point, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
Especially with this new bear that looked so much like him.
As your gaze drifted over the bear with renewed fondness, a soft glint on the bed caught your attention.
Turning your head to see what it was, you gasped at the sight of the outfits you hadn't seen before. Several lined up behind where the bear had been sitting. The soft glare came from a necklace that bore two dog tags. Upon closer inspection, they bore the similar information as Jake's did.
Without thinking, you slipped them over the bear's head and settled them just so. They finished the outfit the bear already wore — the pink 'Petunias' shirt he wore in support of his niece and the cargo pants he preferred for their numerous pockets.
It was only when you went to fully inspect the other outfits that you noticed they were all your favorite outfits from his closet. Right down to the few accessories, he hadn't left out anything from each of them. Your mind froze at this realization of how much he paid attention to your compliments and your choices on a few special occasions.
A new text notification from your phone was the only thing to bring you out of your frozen state.
See it yet? You like it?
Your fingers trembled as you fumbled to type back: Oh, J, I adore it. Wish you were here so I could show you just how much.
And you really did love the bear.
It was already on your mind that this mini Jake would be following you everywhere. No more so than the times that the real one couldn't go with you. Like the work trip you had coming up and had been dreading until you came home that night to find this new treasure waiting on you.
Another ding came a moment later.
Be home soon. Mission's no-go.
Reading his latest text, an idea came to you.
If you knew Jake and you really did know him, he'd be breaking all kinds of driving laws to get back to you. Well, maybe not breaking them but very much bending them as he knew you, too, and how much you'd hate to see him in trouble.
By the time he pushed the front door open some time later, you were already ready and waiting. You pounced before he could even call out your name, dragging him to the closest surface you could find. After all, you had to show him just how much you appreciated your gift. Even more so, you had to show him how much he meant to you.
And you did.
The sun had long since set before Jake got the chance to show you the other half of his gift.
With movements sluggish from being so sated by your rather vigorous and thorough appreciation, he pulled out the matching bear he had made to look just like you. From your hair to your tips of your toes, he didn't spare a single detail, either. You even learned he'd gone and made it smell like your favorite fragrances, but that wasn't all. He'd even given himself a recording of a recent voicemail you left him, so he could have your voice, too.
Like his bear, he also had several outfits made for the bear to match the ones he loved seeing you in. You'd been pleasantly surprised to find that only one of them was made of lingerie as he always appreciated those, but no, he'd chosen some of your everyday outfits.
When you landed on the dress you'd worn on your first date with him, tears misted your eyes. You honestly couldn't believe he remembered that outfit. You even said so aloud.
"How could I not, angel? When I saw you step out of your place in that dress, I knew you were it. I was so head over heels that I was afraid I'd scare you away."
What little distance existed between you as you studied your mini replica disappeared. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you tugged him down until your lips could touch his. It was a kiss filled with promise, love, and adoration for the man at your side.
When you pulled away, you couldn't help saying, "Better be careful, or we're not leaving this room until I give you a repeat performance of earlier."
"I mean, I wouldn't be upset if you did," he said even as pink flooded his cheeks while a shy but happy grin spread over his features. You lost it when he waggled his brows at you before lifting you and setting you on the bed, saying, "Or better yet, how about I return the favor?"
And he did.

Ribbun Week: Day six (Comedy (Fluff))
Link to Ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/61210300
The entire cast had gathered in the closest thing to a living room in the circus, a large rug with colorful couches. Each of them lounged on one of the couches with popcorn in hand and lights dimmed.
They have gathered for a relatively new activity. A lot had changed since Caine got access to the internet, mostly for the better. After a lot of convincing, team building was what finally convinced the ringmaster, and they got something to help feel normal again.
Movie night.
So far they had yet to make a proper schedule, only meeting once every couple of nights after a less exhausting adventure. Nothing had happened to ruin the event either, even though Ragatha’s choice of movies needed to be screened after her selected horror nearly made Gangle and Pomni a panic attack.
Ragath and Pomni were sharing a blanket and chatted on the center couch, guessing what they’d be watching today. Zooble lying on the lefthand couch, trying to relax, as Jax sat on the opposing sofa and threw popcorn over the tiny pillow fort with Kinger inside at her. Soon enough the special lady of the even appeared with Caine to share her selection.
“HELLO EVERYONE! ARE YOU EXCITED FOR YOUR MARVALOUS MOTION PICTURE?!” Caine bellowed in his usual excitement.
“Yeah, yeah just tell us what we’re here for.” Jax turned his attention, and aimed, toward them
“I’M GLAD YOU ASKED,” He pointed a gloved finger at Jax, “TODAY YOU’LL HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF VIEWING NAU- *ACK!*” Caine’s grandiose reveal was interrupted by a kernel to his mouth… head?
“Bullseye!” Jax cheered.
“*HACK!* hmmm, needs salt *HACK!*” He paused mid choke to critique the flavor.
As Caine continued to spin mid-air choking he started floating higher and higher until he was out of sight and hearing. Gangle was stunned and silent until the AI disaster was away before turning to the others to try and pick up where their ringmaster left off while keeping an eye on Jax.
“Um, as-as he was saying I picked ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’. I hope you like it.” She announced.
As the screen behind Gangle turned on she quickly made her way towards the empty seat next to Jax. Everyone quickly moved their attention to watch it, eager to see it for the first time. Gangle was right along with them even if she had seen it enough to memorize the dialogue.
Well, except Jax. He had barely gotten up to any hijinks today and was looking to rectify that. Throwing popcorn got boring after Zooble just started eating it, so he turned his attention towards his favorite target.
He was limited on means though, Ragatha made sure he left all his prank supplies in his room so he wouldn’t ruin movie night. Pokes got no reaction as she was absorbed into the screen so he turned to one of the most cruel things he could do during movie night. He tried to swipe her blanket.
Unfortunately for him, Gangle barely registered it and simply moved with it so she could keep watching. This led to an unforeseen situation as Gangle scooched against Jax and was currently leaning against him, completely unaware of the stunned state she had Jax in. Jax was very aware of it as he kept his arms up, unable to move without pushing the ribbon girl, and looking around as if he could find a solution for his predicament.
He caught Zooble’s attention who upon seeing between a rock and a hard place just giggled and left him to his fate. Unable to move without alerting anyone else Jax was forced to sit still and behave for the next hour and a half, which became a new record.
When the movie finally reached its conclusion and the lights brightened up Gangle finally moved to eagerly discuss the movie with everyone. Jax being freed was quick to make his escape, much to everyone besides Zooble’s confusion.
Notes: Jax's experience with girls starts and ends at putting gum in their hair.

THERE AND BACK AGAIN COLLABORATION
SIGN UPS ARE OPEN (They open tomorrow, but the form is already open so...)
Writer signups form
Artist signups form
To clarify, I'll add some informations here.
Schedule:
(Due to personal reasons, the mods didn't managed to work the signups before, so the schedule it's simply sliding)
2025 Schedule
March 13 - Sign-ups open
March 28 - Sign-ups close
April 4 - Partners/Prompts Assigned
May 12 - First Check In
June 30 - Final Check In - Requests for Extensions due (if you don’t ask for an extension by this date, you don’t get one. This is your last chance to drop out.)
July 13 - Projects Due
July 22 - Extensions due
July 27 - Reveals
What are writer requirements? Writers are expected to provide a minimum of 2000 words a piece. This means if paired with another writer, this is a 4000 word minimum project. The story must be completed, we will not accept incomplete works or anything below the required word count.
What are artist requirements? Artists are expected to contribute a minimum of one piece of finished artwork for the event. If you are paired with another artist, you can each do a completed piece, or work on one together (i.e. someone does lineart, the other does coloring, etc)
What is a pinch hitter? A pinch hitter is someone who fills in for another in case of drop out. Pinch hitters are required to fill out the form just as everyone else, as well as adhere to the schedule. (Last minute pinch hits may not be held to the requirements, it will be case by case.) How do I sign up? Once sign-ups are live, you’ll sign up via the formWe ask that you be as thorough as possible in your answers to this sign up form, as this will determine how we pair you off with someone else. This will cover a variety of factors that can make or break a pairing - from preferred contact method to the characters you want to write for. ⚠️ This is also where you will list your WANTS and DO NOT WANTS, please don’t wait until we’ve partnered you with someone to give them an onslaught of things you aren’t comfortable with. We are not sharing the responses with anyone outside of you and your partner. The more information you can give us the better.
How do the collaborations work? After sign ups are closed, the moderators will go through the responses/answers provided and work on pairing people up into groups of two.At the first check in, the mods will make sure the collaboration is working. In contrary case, we will sort out another solution.
Can I be in more than one collaboration? Short answer: No. You are with your (1) partner for the duration of the event, but can submit more than one project if you wish to. Exception: If you signed up as a pinch hitter and we need you to fill in for someone else, then yes.
Can I use AI to help me create something? ABSOLUTELY NOT. This event will not allow ANY sort of generative AI influence, whether it’s art, writing, you name it. If AI is used, and we are made aware of it, your work will be removed from the collection.
There is a discord server?
After we work through the signups and sort out the teams, we will make a discord server!
If you have any questions, don't be shy to ask them here!

Ok so I have another idea,
So bae is having a bad day and struggling with something, feeling insecure making him feel really stressed and down and he considers harming himself to cope with it thankfully one of the members notice him (Feeling in a minho or chan mood rn so if you could write it as them that would be amazing) and check up on him right before he was about to and stops, him comforting bae
P.S You don't have to write it if you aren't comfortable writing something like this. Ngl I dunno what came over me with this, maybe I am self projecting?
-🐿️
word count: ~2.1k
warnings: self-harm, self-deprecating thoughts
genre: heavy angst, hurt/comfort
a/n: I know I got another ask from a different follower a day ago, but this is just activating my own spidey senses, so this enjoys priority. Also I'm alright writing this, because it touches on a part of Bae's lore that I haven't revealed yet, so don't worry about that. But 🐿️ anon, my sweetie, if you ever really have these thoughts, talk to someone. Anyone. A friend, family, heck, even me or another online person! This isn't a long-term solution, but it can help tremendously. This goes for everyone too: if talking to me or requesting something like this helps, never hesitate to do so! Life is hard and we sometimes need some time and help to recuperate and get back to our feet. There's no shame in it.
Please let me know if I left a warning or anything out, I will add it in! Reblogs, likes and feedback are greatly appreciated!
!I don't condone anyone stealing my work and posting it anywhere without my permission, or feeding it to AI!
!This is just fiction, my interpretation of Stray Kids. By no means is this how they are and how they behave in real life!

As soon as Bae opened his eyes, he felt the air heavily pressing onto his skin, as if a weight was fused onto the upper layer. His limbs felt sluggish, as if his own blood and bones were cast out of pure steel and misery. The light that successfully seeped through the thick curtains felt too bright, earning a low hiss from the male.
Mornings after a migraine were always hard to bear.
The one he’d had the previous day was particularly harsh, rendering him useless as he’d been just carried away by his bandmates to the dorms in urgency. All schedules’s been cancelled for him immediately, Chan telling him how it was alright, how he should only ever focus on his own health.
It made his stomach churn.
Everyone was working themselves to the point of exhaustion every single day, yet here he was, laying in bed once again, causing inconvenience for everyone. He hated it with every fibre of his being, the feeling seeping deep inside and nestling there.
Yet, Bae put a lock onto the gate this monstrous being hid behind, forcing his limbs to move, the motion cumbersome and difficult. What would have only taken him a few minutes now took ten or twenty, an obscuring fog settling over most of his mind. Nothing felt right, yet he powered through it, refusing to leave out another day of work.
Not even Chan could stop him.
After his morning routine was done and his horribly pale skin was hidden behind makeup, he went out of his room at his own, slow pace, knowing fully well no one else was at the dorms anymore. They were all already at the company, busy with their solo schedules and practices. He himself had to be at a photoshoot in an hour, or at least according to his original, filled out schedule. His hyungs adamantly gave him not only yesterday off, but two other days as well, not leaving him any room for argument.
Little did they know he’d told his own manager to reschedule those two days amidst head-splitting pain and blurry vision. It was an arduous task, but he’d managed.
Once he was down in the lobby and ready to go, his driver was surprised, safe to say, the expression obvious as it sat out onto his face. But he’d been working with Bae for long years now, thus that was the only indication about the idol’s unexpected appearance. No words were exchanged, the two acknowledged the other with a respectful nod and off they were to their destination.
The drive wasn’t long, leaving Bae no time to sink into his thoughts as he watched the scenery fly by through the window. Even the weather was feeling down, the skies grey and melancholic. It felt as if in the next minute the clouds would start weeping, openly pouring their heart out in a silent farewell.
Once the car was parked, he slightly nodded at the driver who was looking back at him, opening the door and stepping out onto still dry pavement. His legs automatically took him into the company, something he was grateful for with his hazy mind. The only thoughts that were coherently formed in there were about his bandmates and how he wished he wouldn’t run into them accidentally. He really didn’t have the energy to hear what they had to say and berate him over not resting.
It seemed like his prayers were heard, nobody noticing him as he was silently walking through the halls, as if he was a ghost tied to them for eternity. The moment the staff saw him enter the room they bowed and greeted him, something he reciprocated silently with a bow of his own.
He was soon whisked away to a chair, his makeup and hair professionally done. Even if the workers noticed the bags under his eyes or his unnaturally pale complexion, none of them acknowledged it, opting to instead silently work away with precise movements.
The different array of powder snugly stuck to his skin, just enough to make him feel like the idol he was supposed to be, not a smidge more. The colours were vibrant, the exact opposite of what he felt like under the mask he’d put up, something that fit his idol self only. His bleached, white hair was gently clipped up, a few chosen strands taken out and purposefully left hanging down, framing his face elegantly. A glint caught his eye, the dangly earring in his left ear catching light and shining brightly.
The man who looked back at him in the mirror felt like someone else.
Tearing his gaze away, he let the stylists choose his outfit and got into position, everyone’s eyes on that stranger who he was supposed to be. With a cold gaze he did his job, perfectly executing everything that was expected of him. Even after the sixth outfit change, the final one, and endless photos taken over the course of hours, his expression remained unchanged, focus solely on the camera that was pointed directly at him.
The way back home felt like a blur to him. Stripped of the branded clothes and sheltering makeup on his face, he felt vulnerable, something those dark, swirling thoughts started taking advantage of. He tried to think of anything else, of food or even a favourite TV show.
None of it worked.
They all circled back to how he shouldn’t be skipping the group’s dance practice, how miserable he looked and how he felt nauseous, even though he hadn’t eaten anything all day. Horrendous scenarios played through his head, worsening with every passing second, each ending with him being forced to leave the group.
He really should cook something. If not for himself, then his bandmates, who no doubt would be hungry by the time they got back to the dorms.
But what if… What if they wouldn’t want to eat it? Why would they? After all, he was someone undeserving of their love, to be in the group, useless with a malfunctioning body. He wouldn’t be surprised if one of them finally would have had enough of his constant migraines and the hassle that always came with it, the constant darkness and hushed voices as he was carried away, unmoving.
He also didn’t have an amazingly unique voice like Felix, or dance moves like Minho. Hell, he didn’t even know how to produce music, like 3RACHA.
He was useless.
The knife in his hand glinted, surrounded by half-chopped vegetables. A thought ran through his head, one that would solve all his problems, permanently ending them.
Pale skin drew him in, dark veins peeking through. It felt inviting, as if it somehow grew a mouth itself and called the knife’s name, inescapably alluring.
“Bae?”
His eyes were drawn from the freshly drawn blood, only a few droplets escaping and coating the surface of the blade in a bittersweet vermillion colour. Chan just stood there, frozen, hand stopped midair, no doubt in the process of taking off his bag. Their eyes met, dull ones with pure panic, darting between the knife and Bae’s eyes, as if no matter how hard their owner tried, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
The thud of the bag was loud in the heavy silence, unsure footsteps soon following it.
Bae just watched as the older walked towards him, steps wobbly and out of their usual, steady rhythm. Shaking hands reached towards his own ones, gently prying them apart and away from the stained, sharp object.
An even shakier breath left Chan’s lips as he just stood there, still holding the other’s hands in his gentle hold, blood now painting his skin in small rivers. Their eyes couldn’t meet this time, no, the leader’s own gaze focused on their conjoined hands, expression hidden from the younger.
Not a sound could be heard as Bae was led towards the bathroom, Chan’s hands quietly working away on taking care of the fresh wound. Bae similarly didn’t say anything, not even hiss left his lips when the alcohol touched open skin, or when it was finally sealed off, left to heal in peace.
The two remained there for a while, one standing, the other sitting, until the silence was broken by quiet sniffles, the older’s lip wobbling and eyes shining with unshed tears.
“What were you thinking?” - his voice was a broken little thing, as if he himself got hurt by the knife instead of Bae.
The younger stayed silent, numb and unwilling to burden anyone with his worthless thoughts. He didn’t deserve being cared for like this, something the voices whispered to him relentlessly.
“Bae, why did you do it? Do you hate being with us this much?”
His head snapped up from where he was observing the tiles underneath his feet, wide eyes staring into Chan’s tear-filled ones. Those obsidian orbs were filled with sorrow, the usually bright nebulas now hidden in darkness. The sight alone broke something in Bae, as if he was pulled up onto the surface of an alaskan lake from its deep, imprisoning depths.
A sound left the younger’s lips, something that vaguely resembled a word, yet no one could tell. It was quiet, broken, much like the male himself. More soon followed its wake, finally donning the form of a word and adamantly denying Chan’s question with their sole existence. His head shook as tears finally fell down upon shaking hands, ones that were raised in a sad attempt of hiding away. Chan didn’t hesitate to hug the unravelling boy in front of him, his standing form easily engulfing Bae’s small, sitting one.
“Then why?” - the question was careful, as if a single wrong word could shatter Bae into irreparable pieces.
“I don’t feel worthy to be here.” - that was the simple answer he got.
The grip on the younger tightened impossibly, Chan’s form rigid and unbreathing. It prompted Bae to snake his hands further up, clinging onto the fabric there desperately, hold more secure on his hyung. His head was buried in Chan’s stomach, afraid to be seen like this.
“My moonlight, look at me.” - it was a gentle request, one that was accompanied by tender hands, holding onto tear-stained cheeks and leading them out of their hiding.
Thumbs softly swiped the droplets away from underneath dark, confused eyes.
“You’re one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met, and I’ve been in this demanding industry for longer than anyone should have. There’s a passionate fire burning inside you, one that you never let lose its intensity. Not only do you practise and work relentlessly, you also have amazing talent in everything you do. Your singing is wonderfully soft, perfectly harmonising with anyone you sing with. You know every single one of our dances to the point where if I were to start a song from any point, you would know what dance move goes with it. And you always look amazing, no matter what you wear or do. On top of all that, you never fail to help us or listen to our problems. Never once have you turned us away in all these years.”
Chan’s eyes held a soft light, a gentle smile dancing on his lips. It stole the breath out of Bae’s lungs, his eyes stinging as a fresh wave of tears started forming.
“You can ask any of us, we would only sing your praises. Because they’re true, baby. You might get migraines often, but then what? That doesn’t make you any less of us. You work hard enough already, a little rest won’t take away from that.”
He stopped for a moment, as if a fond memory appeared in front of his eyes.
“Did you know? I love the little snacks you sneak into my bag that I take to the studio with me. I also love the little notes you always give me with it and the silly little drawings on them. I’ve never thrown one out ever since you started giving them to me.”
The look on Chan’s face was entirely too fond, something that Bae couldn’t possibly look at for too long, lest his chest burst into loved pieces. No, hiding into the fabric of his hyung felt better, unwilling to think about the way the man’s lips curved up, dimples peeking through, or the way his eyes were just slightly crinkled, holding the warmth of a star itself even through those crystal droplets.
“You’re loved, Bae. Never forget that.”
