Title: Ships Passing In The Night
No pairing, just two ladies enjoying each other’s company becuase I’ve yet to see Ikkaku and Nami interact with each other, and I honestly think these two would hit it off so well. Please enjoy!

“Mind if I take this seat?”
Nami looked over as a woman with curly dark brown hair sat next to her dressed in a simple black dress with heels.
“Oh…no I don’t mind at all.” Nami said as she took in the woman’s appearance, “I’m sorry but…have I met you somewhere before?”
The woman flashed a smile at the orange haired woman as she fished out a cigarette and a lighter, “You’re correct, we met back on Zou.” The woman said before lighting her cigarette and taking a drag.
The orange haired navigator looked carefully at the woman and muttered to herself before brown eyes lit up, “Oh yes Ikakku! I remember now, you’re part of the Heart Pirates!” she then looked around, “But…where’s the rest of your crew?”
“They’re likely somewhere close by getting into mischief…if you know what I mean.” Ikkaku said blowing some smoke.
“I know all too well.” Nami said shaking her head as she prayed Jinbe was keeping an eye on Zoro from getting lost and that Luffy wasn’t causing too many issues. “And your Captain?”
“On the Polar Tang.” She said dark eyes taking in the navigator, “You’re not wearing that purple dress the minks gave you.”
“Oh…that wasn’t for me! Wanda told me exchanging clothes is a sign of friendship among minks…besides it’s too grand to wear when traveling.”
“Too bad, I thought it looked sexy.”
Nami felt her cheeks heat up, ‘Huh? I-Is she calling me sexy or the dress?’ She cleared her throat, “U-Um, yeah but it’s not exactly practical when you have to work on a ship.” She took a sip of her wine.
“True.” Ikakku agreed as she pulled at the top of her dress which covered her own sizeable chest, “I can’t wear nice outfits when I’m on the Tang. We’re underwater most of the time and then it gets humid and I end up sweating too much…I’d hate to ruin any nice outfits.” She then moved her hand towards her hair, “My hair also doesn’t do well with humidity so it gets very frizzy…but most of us have that problem. It’s why we wear hats.”
“Makes sense.” Nami said taking another sip and frowned, “Though I think Tora-o ought to let you have more clothing options…comfort is one thing but feeling pretty is good too.”
“I don’t mind, it keeps the guys on the ship from staring too much, not that they’d try anything stupid.” Ikkaku said, “My Captain made it a rule that if anything non-consensual occurred on the Tang the culprit would be chopped up and fed to the sharks.”
“Gross.” Nami muttered as she sipped more wine, Tora-o sounded like he was just as bad as Robin when it came to talk of torturing people, “I suppose it’s good he looks out for the women on his crew but I’m sure you don’t have to make sure he doesn’t make any stupid decisions.”
Ikkaku shrugged, “Every man has their stupid moments. Law just hides his better than most.” She then snuffed out the cigarette, “How’s the wine here?”
“It’s alright.” Nami said then flagged down the bartender, “Hey give her what I’m having and put it on my tab!” she then turned to Ikkaku, “I hope you don’t mind me buying you a drink.”
Ikkaku smiled softly, “Not at all, it’s nice to get attention from a pretty woman.”
Nami mirrored the heart pirate’s smile, “So Ikkaku, what’s it like to live on a submarine?”
