so im trying to write annies paragraph for my prject and i cant really write anything else but about her drive at school? like im realizing yhat a lot of her story lines revolve around her love life and it kind makes me sad. like she really doesnt change a lot does she. i dont know guys, writing about annie without connecting go her relationships with everyone in the show is really hard, like its taling so much work for me to think of things to talk about her which is weird

Hello, it's me, again, talking about my Hades x Persephone wip lmao

This time I want to talk about another member of the band and the deity I chose for him in my au.

Today it's Kris's turn!

Kris's deity is Freyja!

There were other options for him before I landed on Freyja.

At first I pictured Apollo, god of arts, music and poetry, light/sun, knowledge, prophecy and healing (and many other stuff) as Kris's divine "guide". He's the inventor of music with string instruments (Kris plays guitars). Kris is the other one in the band who writes lyrics (poetry). Apollo is a healer, and I can easily see Kris as the "healer" of the group, trying to help the others when they feel down or ill (ginger shots?).

The second one was Aphrodite, goddess of love, passion, beauty and sexuality (and some other stuff linked to the amorous/sexual semantic area). We joke a lot about Kris being a princess or a queen or about him being a lesbian, especially after the Stožice outfit that made us go crazy. Giving him a female deity linked to sensuality seemed a good choice.

But then Freyja arrived. She's a female goddess associated with love, beauty and sex, but not only! She's also a warrior goddess and rules over Fólkvangr, the other heavenly field where she welcomes half of those who die in battle. Kris isn't only sensuality, he fought for his identity, both as a person (him accepting his "feminine" side, his longer hair) and as a musician in the band (stepping outside Bojan's and his father's shadow and shining by his own).

Besides, Freyja's animal is the cat, and sometimes I see Kris as cat coded in his behaviour.

I am truly and fully fucking dead over Silver Wolf being the one who hired Sparkle to come to Penacony to make sure Firefly's deaths happened in the safest way.

Sparkle spent four patches being a menace and terrorizing the entire cast because Silver Wolf loves her friend so much and wanted to maximize her chances of surviving her three deaths safely.

While I don’t necessarily enjoy bringing this up since it is a bit uncomfy, it becomes relatable as it’s a plot point in shows. I’ll be comparing my experience to Only Friends Mew and Ray.

My best friend did confess to me. It was right when I started dating my now-husband. Now, I’m not saying my way of handling the situation is the end all be all, but I think I definitely handled it better than Mew okay. I didn’t stay silent and I sure as hell didn’t let her kiss me for a while before deciding hmmm maybe I shouldn’t give hope to someone I don’t have feelings for MEW. We were in my car, parked in her driveway, talking. She confessed but she basically told me she knew I was happy right now and to let her down so she could get over me (which helped a lot because I’d be a bumbling mess trying to get there myself).

There was and is a sense a responsibility of one’s feelings in a situation like this. Like, that’s your best friend, you love them and you definitely don’t want to hurt them. I think it speaks to Mew’s character that he handled that so poorly. Is he naive or is it manipulation? He knows Ray is in love with him and he gave him that false hope to hold on for two years. Yes, he encourages Ray to pursue Sand but he never TRULY gave Ray the closure he needed but he gave him that sliver of hope by kissing him.

Mew giving Ray this insane ultimatum? Like stop being in love with me right now or we can’t be friends. Ouch. Yes, Ray is an adult and should be conscious of what occurred after the kiss and the two years, but he’s just so broken. He’s clinging on because he can’t lose anything else. His feelings for Mew was all he had and the friendship he got back from Mew was enough until Top came into the picture.

Idk tldr I don’t think Mew is being responsible in the situation with Ray and I’m out of things to say
