hey guys! this here's a comic properly introducing andrew and the basics of his story setup at the start of awkward phage; as i've said the comic is still very much in the pre-production stage so this project was mostly to mess around with colors and formatting styles! and in that department it was a great help, i have a wayyyy better grasp on how this project is gonna look than i did before; also you guys get a peek at the other two main guys in the story so that's exciting >3>

Suko and Jia wants to present a gift for Kong, what would it be?

The two kids have planning this for days, they got the apes to join in this as well. Everything is now ready. Ilene comes walking

Ilene: okay, he's on his way.

Everyone now waits and act casual as kong walk in, boots pretending to bored out of his mind, kong studies everyone. Something is a miss, he can feel it.

Kong: what are you up to?

Kong looks at jia and suko. Jia and suko smile as suko grabs his hand and leads him to a wall covered in leaves

Jia: *signimg* we all made this for you.

Suko pulls back the leaves and kong's eyes widen at what he sees. A mural. A mural of him, the apes, suko, shimo, jia, ilene, and he almost couldnt believe it. His parents. His family Together. Kong placed both hand on the mural, and he began crying. They did this for him. They didnt have to but they did. Kong felt a hand tenderly grab his. He looked, and suko was there smiling, he turned around and saw all their smiling faces

"My home. My family."

(I started crying after writing this)

Its kong's birthday.

What do the kids have planned?

Jia, Suko and Kiko hatches a plan to distract Kong. Kiko distracts Kong by taking him to a park where they spend each other for a fun. Kong is oblivious of his birthday today.

Meanwhile, Jia has a long list of preparations within 24 hours to decorating crystals and stuff with Shimo's help of course. The other apes decided to help too. Suko and Boots alongside their scouts hunt down some food for a feast before bringing them in to a large slab of stone-like table.

Ilene knew what's up with them and also help them too, she told Jia that she has "other plans" in surprising Kong. Jia already knew what was her "gift" to Kong after the party.

After several hours of decorating and preparations, they all waited for their Leader to return.

Kong and Kiko returned back to Hollow Earth and with a mishap comedy, Doug appears (yes Suko told Doug what to do when Kong and Kiko returns) and snagged Kong's axe with an incredible speed, startling himself as he chased that dumb lizard from the place where the Great Apes lived.

Kong and Kiko arrived, and to Kong's surprise, his kind and even Jia, Suko, Shimo, Boots, and Kiko also began to say, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KONG!!!"

He is left speechless at the moment, but soon replaced with a joyful smile as Boots led him to a seat where they all began to feast delicious foods that the Great Apes collected.

After that, they have a games and wrestling in a friendly way.

Kong notice Ilene's absence, and Jia told him that she is waiting for him after the party. He never felt this way of celebrating his birthday with his kind.

And so everybody become tired and went to rest for a while. Kong decided to visit Ilene without assistance as they all cleaned up the mess and went to bed.

The former King of Skull Island and King of Hollow Earth would never expect the "gift" from Ilene yet...

My Faves, Part 2 of 2

Okay I finally got my act together for the rest of my favs of the night. Again, in no particular order:

Shakira - a literal goddess

Doechii - people were complaining about the shorts but you know what, I like the whole ensemble. It's kind of wacky and fun and I want those shoes

Ugbad Abdi - No idea who you are but you also brought the DRAMA to this outfit

Cardi B - Green is a really good look for her and tbh love the hair shapes, I feel like it's accentuating the dress

Andre 3000 - how heavy was that??? does the piano work???? Where did he put it during dinner? I have Questions

Jodie Turner-Smith - the cinched waist is giving and for some reason I think I just gave +50 style points to anyone who had a cool hat at this thing

Lupita Nyong'o - the cape is cute. the little boater hat is cute. She's a vision in literally any colour.

Laura Harrier - ok talk about DRAMA. the flow! The color! The style! This is maybe my second or third fav look of the night and also I want to wear it???

A$AP Rocky - purely because he was so excited about how he designed his whole outfit when they were interviewing him about it. Adorable.

Cynthia Erivo - her association with Ariana Grande and Wicked gives me the ick (for reasons too long to list here) but i cannot deny she has immaculate style, and this look was fire!!

My honourable mention list is quite long so I might break that into 2 posts but then I'm done I promise!!

Category is Pure Dandy.... which was the whole as point..... so yeah have some things I liked enough to look twice at, but not enough to rank or scream (too much) about.

A$AP Rocky^-AGWE: A$AP was also *moving* in theme and was actually the first person I saw that happening with. seen do that tonight. A$AP always carries himself with the sort of swagger one associates with the theme and styles therein, so even though this carpet look is only about ¾ as good as his usual fits The Swag has it.

Andrew Scott- Giuliva Heritage: He looks fantastic but is clearly wearing something that should be on somebody seven shades darker than he is…. Robert downey jr. is the only person who's been allowed to do black face ever , but I almost Want to give Andrew Scott permission just so that way this suit could pop like it should. Although if someone would have injected him with the a vial of the rizz that he has on stage, that might also do the trick

Hunter Abrams-unknown :One of the photographers who I spotted just standing in the background at the beginning of the steam, simply killing the game..... Random white man, at work, doing magnificently- who no one may ever acknowledge for the topical sartorial excellence. This is the sole fit pic I could find of him😅
