good glory, she's wearing pants!
i decided to take a couple days just for myself and draw something that i wanted, rather than just thinking about numbers and potential growth a drawing might have. that really helped me gain motivation
also, i wanted to add cute little lipstick kiss marks on rocky's face, but i felt it would be too cluttered if i did that, because this pose they're doing is already pushing it lmao
there is much more i could have done, but frankly i'm happy with the piece for what it is

I only have praise for how they’re writing Jim Kirk in SNW. Though perhaps I’m biased because i love this character.
Admittedly, at first, I didn’t like the guy. I thought Wesley was a terrible casting choice. he didn’t have the passion that Shatner and Pine gave him, and frankly just didn’t have the look for me.
But Wesleys Kirk is pulling out that soft, kind hearted nerd that we all know Kirk is.
In La’Ans AR, he listens to Sera despite her being “unhinged,” he smoothly steps forward to put himself between Sera and La’An and sacrifices himself to save the timeline- to save Sam.
Then the real Kirk, despite getting decked, thinks first of Uhura and doesnt want her to have to explain the hallucinations. He doesn’t write Uhura off either like Chapel and Spock did , he believes her. And then inserts himself into the problem because, as La’An said, hes “the type of person who cant walk past a stranger in need”. and then sticks around to make sure she is okay.
So yeah, maybe Wesley isn’t who would come to my mind initially for Kirk, but i love his interpretation of him. His Kirk cares deeply for others and thats the Kirk i know and love. Im looking forward to how they develop his relationship with Spock.

good lord this took me a long time to make. rocky looks... off, but other than that i think i did okay. for me, the lackadaisy pilot art style is really hard to replicate, so i'm fairly proud of this one. also, this is the first time i've ever made a comic digitally, so i hope it's at least decent to look at.

Ah, I'm a bit nervous about this but!!!!
I've been in art block for the past like 2 years (or, at least, that's what I've dubbed it as??? I haven't been able to pick up a pen and draw during that time😭😭 just haven't had the motivation) and seeing you push through it like you have been is really inspiring to me!! I decided to try again and I had a lot of fun actually! I wasn't sure if I was actually going to upload it or not and I would have rendered it more but 🤷♂️
Thank you for... being you!!
(P.S I just saw the human version, I'm going to die now... 😭😭)
WAA Looks so good for a artblock gamer!! But make sure to rest when your body needs it!

Hey i’ve got a fun fact about the Hellaverse for all the normal fans that aren’t hyperfixating on demonology
Ever wonder why the only characters in Helluva Boss who can access the living world are Stolas and Verosika and her crew?Well, that’s all based in actual demonology.
the Ars Goetia is a book of demons/angels that fell with Lucifer. It’s also a book on how to summon them, meaning that those demons are the only ones who can access humans. A lot of Heluva Boss’s characters take inspiration from that. Stolas, obviously, is one of those demons. That’s why in Helluva, he has the Grimoire.
However, Asmodeus is also in the Ars Goetia. In fact, he’s the only one of the big 7 who’s listed. This would also make sense why he’s the weakest; he’s basically the exact middle line between the 7 sins and the Goetias in the Hellaverse social hierarchy. Also, Dante’s Divine Comedy (both the Purgatorio and Inferno) list Lust to be the least serious of the seven deadly sins. Hell, i think even the Bible says it’s not that bad compared to things like Pride and Envy. So yeah, Asmodeus is the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to his position of power in Helluva Boss.
But, i would bet money on this being the inspiration behind the Asmodean (idk how to spell that and i’m not looking it up) Crystals. It wouldn’t make sense in Viv’s lore to have one of the rulers of hell randomly be able to go to earth himself when the other 6 can’t, so he instead has the power to send others to earth, like Stolas (and presumably Andrealphus too since he’s also a Goetia demon?? idk his deal) can.
