Outsource or In-House? How to Decide What's Best for Your Web Development
Introduction Outsourcing web development involves hiring an external web development company or freelancers to handle all or part of your website design and build. It allows small businesses without in-house development teams to get custom websites built according to their requirements and budget. The option to outsource is appealing to many small business owners, especially when starting out.…

If Callie wasn’t brainwashed then what happened? Wasn’t it like she just grew disillusioned with inkling society and decided to go underground?
Alright so, I've said this in other blog posts and i have gone into it multiple times, BUT! I'll try and sum it all up on what happened to Callie in Splatoon 2. It is very vague and i don't entirely blame people for coming to certain conclusions because the game didn't do a good enough job in my opinion, and the English translation has issues too which doesn't help at all...
So during Splatoon 1 and when it was getting content updates, we got to learn about Callie and Marie. If you look at the dialogue present in Naughty Vs. Nice, Early Bird Vs. Night Owl and Callie Vs. Marie Splatfests, their dialogue is rather harsh and personal towards each other, showing that Callie has these dark traits about her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These mean and harsh qualities of Callie were built up since Splatoon 1 and they come into the forefront in Splatoon 2 and I'll go over that shortly.
After the final Splatfest and Marie's victory, the Squid Sisters became a lot more famous and stepped down from their news presenting duties and gave it to Pearl and Marina. During this period, Callie and Marie became more estranged with each other as Callie became more and more popular, meaning she got a LOT more busy and had to work day in and day out every single day at an acting gig. In the Squid Sister Stories web series, Callie is stated to be "lost at sea herself" meaning that her acting career and fame are taking a tole on her, and it's pretty easy to see that with the Sunken Scrolls in Splatoon 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At some point Callie and Marie managed to hang out and they decided that they would go to Calamari County to visit family. However.... As we know, it didn't pan out that way. Callie at some point in chapter 7 became flustered at work and basically ran off, which her manager thought she wanted to go home.
But... She didn't... She stumbled across DJ Octavio after he broke out from his snow globe (don't ask how, we don't know and plus, octopuses are very clever and can easily get out of trapped spaces).
Now, Octavio is a man who knows how to use manipulation and propaganda to his advantage. He is the leader of an entire race of people that are on the brink of collapse, it's either they all die, or he pulls the right strings to motivate his people to fight and take the Great Zapfish so that they don't die. And now we have an emotional and mentally unwell Callie who is suffering from so much attention and overwork, of course Octavio, the main antagonist, wanted to take advantage of that. Callie is a very powerful woman with the ability to influence and inspire others with her voice, of course Octavio wanted that kind of power to help his race and get them motivated again after their loss in Splatoon 1.
So what did he do? Did he grab her and kidnap her and put on some "evil brain warping shades" and brainwash her while she was kicking and screaming trying to stop him? WRONG!!!!!!!!!! As stated by the OFFCIAL Splatoon 2 relationship chart that i love to bring up all the time, there seemed to be an on going conversation about Callie joining the Octarians, Octavio possibly appealed to her sense of isolation, hidden resentment for Marie and her being so overworked. And she says "Ok, fine. I'll hear you out." Does that scream kidnapping to you? I don't think so.
Tumblr media
She's even called "the lovable rebel" implying she felt some distain for Inkling society from the way they treated her and wanted to rebel. Would the developers and writers of a character who was forcibly brainwashed and kidnapped display as her a rebel and pose her like this? I don't think so.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like you would not see Marina Agitando for example in these sort of poses in artwork because the circumstances and conditions are so vastly different.
So now let's get into those god damn mother fucking bitch ass hypnoshades. As their name suggests, they are shades with an element of hypnosis of some kind, if they weren't hypnotic shades and just turned people evil and forced Octarian ideals into their brains then they wouldn't be given that name. "Hypno" is a very specific word choice and it's done on purpose. Callie was hypnotized, not brainwashed, that word is only used in English translations of the game and outside media and if you ask any hardcore fan of a series made in Japan then you would know that English scripts kinda fuck up the Japanese ones most of the time. Take me for example, I'm a Sonic the Hedgehog fan, the Japanese versions of Sonic stories are vastly different from the Western versions in tone, dialogue, call backs, personalities, etc. Same thing with Splatoon unfortunately. Take the English translation of the Splatoon scripts with a MASSIVE grain of salt. Like a meteor sized grain of salt lmao.
Now, what is being hypnotized like? is it like being a mindless puppet that follows the orders of the person doing the hypnosis? Well... Nope. Not true actually. The way it' s portrayed in media is completely wrong and untrue. Hypnosis is similar to being in a flow state, or being incredibly relaxed while also having heighten attention and suggestibility. Imagine being in a daydream while still having hyper awareness of the stuff around you. Now that part about suggestibility is important because this is where people mess up. If a hypnotized person is given a suggestion that goes against their morals and ideologies, they will NOT!!!!!!!! follow through with that suggestion. If a hypnotized person is told to murder their family, they will not do so UNLESS they secretly want to murder them and it's in line with their psychotic and fucked up wishes.
If Octavio told Callie to murder Marie instead of Agent 4, she wouldn't follow through with the suggestion. Callie doesn't wanna murder Marie but instead she wants her to leave because their relationship is ruined. Callie doesn't mind trying to kill Agent 4 because firstly, she's mentally unwell and isn't thinking clearly from having a mental illness, and two, she doesn't have any personal attachments to Agent 4 so she can just listen to the suggestions from Octavio and follow through with them. Even in the rematches, Callie doesn't know Agent 4 all that well compared to Marie and it's clear Callie is still not doing so well after Splatoon 2.
Tumblr media
Callie while under the hypnoshades is more like herself than not. Like this line for example is just typical Callie but she's more aggressive and mean.
Tumblr media
If she was truly brainwashed then her personality would be A LOT more different. She would be a lot more subservient to Octavio and the Octarian race and her dialogue would show this too, but it does NOT! In fact Callie berates and talks back to Octavio during the final boss.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only real differences between Callie and Hypno Callie is that she's more harsh and angry compared to regular Callie. However this anger... this rage... this hate was always there. It was always under the surface, and due to Callie's mental state from being overworked and now under hypnotic shades, that pain and anger is at the surface and is clouding her mind and making her not think rationally. She's more chaotic, she's aggressive and doesn't care for Marie anymore.
Now i do wanna discuss this line as it has been brought up multiple times to me and other discussions on Hypno Callie i see online.
Tumblr media
First off, like i mentioned previously, the English translations of Splatoon stories and media sometimes gets it wrong. If you want examples then look at Commander Tartar and Marina's dialogue in Octo Expansion. You can look up retranslations of Octo Expansion to see the differences of the English and retranslated version. The only other mention of remixing a brain is in the Dutch translation. The other translations mention hypnosis and nothing about warping Callie's brain directly.
Tumblr media
Second of all, DJ Octavio is... you guessed it... A DJ! He says musical terms to make puns and he's a loud personality.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In fact that "remix" line is actually a call back to the Splatoon 1 final boss and you know what, I'll give prompts for the English translation team for doing that... Still hate them for everything else tho lol.
Tumblr media
DJ Octavio didn't literally remix her brain with evil brain warping shades. He is just saying that because it's to show that he got Callie on his side. So the "remixing" is just Callie becoming "evil" and hearing out Octavio.
Brainwashing implies that there is a forcible aspect to it, however from the evidence i just laid out, that cannot be the case as Octavio didn't force Callie into anything she didn't want to do. He didn't torture her, he didn't abuse her. He didn't put the shades on her by force as if he tried to do that he would get destroyed by the more energetic, younger and stronger squid woman that isn't a disabled 130 year old Octoling stuck in his octopus form.
He let her decorate bases and added glittery ink which motivated and inspired his people. Hell his approval ratings went up because the Octarians were happy and inspired by Callie's presence.
Now you may say "but didn't she lose her memories while under the shades and therefore she got brainwashed?"
Tumblr media
Well.... Not really. I want you to put yourself in the shoes of Callie, you're in a very focused and hypnotic state, like being in a very concentrated flow state and you have a lot of anger and aggression in you. Your head is so cloudy and you're under a lot of mental distress. So imagine an ink bullet flying at your eyeball, flinging you out of that hypnotic state in a very fast fashion. It's like someone snapping their fingers in front of your face while you're concentrated on a task, or someone smacking you at the back of your head while you're working on something in a deeply concentrated manner. You are left confused and dazed and need a second to gather your composure back. Callie when the shades are removed from her, acts dazed and holds her head like she has a bad headache, only left to sing and dance cause she's an idol and that stuff is natural to her.
Some of the side effects that may occur when under hypnosis include headaches and nausea, and look at Callie when she's flung out of that hypnotic state, it looks like she has a headache and is in pain.
Tumblr media
Now when Marie plays the Calamari Inkantation, what is actually happening here is that the song is energizing and motivating Callie. It is not freeing her from "brainwashing." That is a very common misconception about the song, implying that all Octarians are brainwashed and are just mindless drones when that is NOT TRUE AT ALL and is yet another case of bad translation. The song is just extremely catchy and it gives Octarians the motivation to wanna leave to the surface. It also makes Cuttlefish get the strength to break out of his restraints in Splatoon 1 and makes Smallfry transform into Hugefry. The song is so damn powerful and catchy, that's all it is, it is not a mind control cure, that is fucking false.
So what is happening with Callie is that the song is motivating her and flooding her head with good memories of her time with Marie. When the shades are flung off of her, she's still mad at Marie and still fights Agent 4, it takes a while but eventually she starts thinking more rationally, realizing that Marie has come to get her and what Callie has been doing was wrong. Songs are VERY powerful tools for memory and hearing a song you loved back when you were younger can bring out certain feelings and memories. Those happy memories flood Callie's mind and she goes "wait... what am i doing!? This isn't me, I REMEMBER! YEAH!" And she jumps into the air and transforms back into her iconic outfit sailor moon style.
Tumblr media
With all of the information and context i presented, it really elevates everything that comes after. It makes Spicy Calamari Inkantation more powerful as a song as Callie has truly reunited with Marie. Fresh Start makes sense and fits perfectly with the narrative the writers wanted to tell. If you take the common and untrue narrative that people keep saying about Callie, Fresh Start literally makes zero sense in that untrue context.
It makes her eventual healing in Splatoon 3 and return to the public WAY MORE SATISFYING!
Tumblr media
Callie has matured, she has grown up, she's more comfortable being in the spotlight again and can handle it as she has worked out her relationship with Marie. She used to suffer from being overworked and having an addiction to the shades as it gave her an escape from her life. She would rather be in a hypnotic state then go through her current life. It was only when Callie and Marie came together and truly changed things is when Callie was able to finally heal and get better.
That's why I'm so passionate about this, Callie truly went through a character arc, even it was rushed and poorly presented. I care about Callie and want people to get her story straight. Splatoon 2 was always about the Squid Sisters breaking up and eventually coming back together and becoming stronger. Callie is my comfort character and i want people to treat her better. She wasn't a powerless kidnap and brainwash victim. She was a woman with deep flaws, anger, sadness, aggression, that pain is gone now from her. She's finally... Happy. And that... makes me happy too.

Regardless of what companies and investors may say, artificial intelligence is not actually intelligent in the way most humans would understand it. To generate words and images, AI tools are trained on large databases of training data that is often scraped off the open web in unimaginably large quantities, no matter who owns it or what biases come along with it. When a user then prompts ChatGPT or DALL-E to spit out some text or visuals, the tools aren’t thinking about the best way to represent those prompts because they don’t have that ability. They’re comparing the terms they’re presented with the patterns they formed from all the data that was ingested to train their models, then trying to assemble elements from that data to reflect what the user is looking for. In short, you can think of it like a more advanced form of autocorrect on your phone’s keyboard, predicting what you might want to say next based on what you’ve already written and typed out in the past. If it’s not clear, that means these systems don’t create; they plagiarize. Unlike a human artist, they can’t develop a new artistic style or literary genre. They can only take what already exists and put elements of it together in a way that responds to the prompts they’re given. There’s good reason to be concerned about what that will mean for the art we consume, and the richness of the human experience.
[...]
AI tools will not eliminate human artists, regardless of what corporate executives might hope. But it will allow companies to churn out passable slop to serve up to audiences at a lower cost. In that way, it allows a further deskilling of art and devaluing of artists because instead of needing a human at the center of the creative process, companies can try to get computers to churn out something good enough, then bring in a human with no creative control and a lower fee to fix it up. As actor Keanu Reeves put it to Wired earlier this year, “there’s a corporatocracy behind [AI] that’s looking to control those things. … The people who are paying you for your art would rather not pay you. They’re actively seeking a way around you, because artists are tricky.” To some degree, this is already happening. Actors and writers in Hollywood are on strike together for the first time in decades. That’s happening not just because of AI, but how the movie studios and steaming companies took advantage of the shift to digital technologies to completely remake the business model so workers would be paid less and have less creative input. Companies have already been using AI tools to assess scripts, and that’s one example of how further consolidation paired with new technologies are leading companies to prioritize “content” over art. The actors and writers worry that if they don’t fight now, those trends will continue — and that won’t just be bad for them, but for the rest of us too.

In today’s digital landscape, a captivating and functional website is crucial for any business looking to thrive online. Full service web design encompasses a comprehensive approach, ensuring every aspect of your site is tailored to meet your unique needs. From the initial concept to the final launch, this service provides an array of offerings, including website service, responsive web design, and custom design services. Whether you’re a startup seeking to establish your brand or an established enterprise aiming to enhance your online presence, understanding the elements of full service web design is essential.
Full service web design
Full service web design encompasses all aspects of creating a website, from initial conceptualization to ongoing maintenance. This approach ensures that every detail is carefully considered to meet the specific needs of a business or individual. With a team of experienced designers and developers, full service web design offers a seamless experience that integrates aesthetics, functionality, and user experience.
One of the key advantages of opting for a full service web design is the cohesion of the website elements. Since all parts of the project are managed by a single team, there is less chance for miscommunication or inconsistency in design. This results in a more polished final product that reflects the brand’s identity while providing an engaging experience for visitors.
Additionally, full service web design allows for customized solutions tailored to unique requirements. Whether you need an e-commerce platform, a portfolio site, or a blog, a full service provider will offer dedicated support and expert advice throughout the entire process, ensuring your vision comes to life exactly as you imagined.
Website service
In today's digital landscape, website service is essential for businesses to thrive and maintain an online presence. A well-structured website serves as a powerful tool that encourages customer engagement and drives sales. By investing in a comprehensive website service, businesses can ensure that their website not only looks great but also functions seamlessly across all devices.
A key aspect of website service is the ability to optimize for search engines. By implementing SEO best practices, businesses can enhance their visibility and attract more organic traffic. This is where a reliable website service provider plays a crucial role, as they possess the expertise and techniques necessary to elevate your search engine rankings.
Furthermore, ongoing support and maintenance are vital components of a reliable website service. As technology evolves and user needs change, having a team that can promptly address issues or updates will keep your website relevant and effective in reaching target audiences. This ongoing relationship is instrumental in achieving long-term success in the digital realm.
Responsive web design
Responsive web design is an essential aspect of modern web development that ensures a seamless user experience across a variety of devices. With the increasing use of smartphones and tablets, having a website that adapts to different screen sizes is not just a luxury but a necessity.
The core principle of responsive web design is fluidity. This means that the layout of your website adjusts dynamically based on the screen width, ensuring that content remains accessible and visually appealing regardless of the device used. This approach improves usability and can significantly boost conversion rates.
Incorporating responsive web design techniques involves using flexible grids, images, and CSS media queries. These elements work together to create a layout that responds gracefully to changes in screen size, making your website not only functional but also competitive in the digital marketplace.
Custom design services
In today's digital landscape, custom design services have emerged as a vital component of creating a strong online presence. Businesses understand that a one-size-fits-all approach does not cater to their unique needs and branding. Therefore, opting for custom design services allows them to differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
These services offer tailored solutions that resonate with a company's specifics, from colors to typography and layout. By leveraging custom design services, businesses can ensure that their websites not only reflect their brand identity but also provide an intuitive user experience. This is crucial for keeping visitors engaged and encouraging them to take the desired actions.
Investing in custom design services ultimately contributes to better customer satisfaction and improved conversion rates. With a website designed specifically for their target audience, businesses can more effectively communicate their message and achieve their goals. This bespoke approach is invaluable in today's competitive environment.

TMAGP Re - Designs part 5 - Sam Khalid
Spoilers for Season 1 below!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Design: I kept his design mostly the same. I made him slightly more casual so that he would match with the rest of the crew. He's wearing red because Lena has a very red color scheme, and he wanted to emulate her to show her that he's "worthy" of the job (we'll get into that in the analysis). He does have dark green accents, referring to his (slightly) hidden connection to the Magnus Institute. Honestly, there's not much to say for Sam's design, I mostly went off of his vibes. The outfit is a mini reference to Jon because he helped (or I theorize that he did) Sam out by sending him to Gertrude and Gerry in that email.
Analysis: Sam is a character I relate to a lot. At a young age, he was declared "gifted" and when had his first "failure" (not getting accepted into the Institute's program), he felt like he had to prove his worth for everything. Every accomplishment that he earned wasn't "good enough" to make up for that "failure." So, he pushed harder and harder, he went to college and worked in a law office. Then, it was too much, and he burned himself out. We know that he was fired for some sort of "outburst" which could have very well been all the stress that he put himself under to "be better" and "be worthy," but since this is a horror/supernatural podcast, I am led to believe that the Fears (probably the Web tbh) pushed him into this outburst, leading to be fired and subsequently, the OIAR. Now, he is in the lion's den and doesn't even know it. With this job, he's taking it slower, which is great, and I do think the job at the OIAR is better for him. Less people to "disappoint" if you've already "disappointed" most of them (he mentioned his parents weren't the happiest when he was fired, and it doesn't seem like he has any friends besides the OIAR team at this point). Sam still dresses in Lena's color scheme to show her (the authority figure) that he's "on her side" and that he will do his best (as Oscar Wilde said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness"). Now, this is not to say that Sam is mediocre. However, at this point, that is how Sam sees himself - not special, not gifted, just mediocre. His self-esteem is lower than it has been since he was fired from his last job (with Alice referring to his depressing vaugepost about it). Continuing on, Sam gets a case, one of his first cases, in fact, on The Magnus Institute, the very source of his trauma (in more ways than one). This naturally gets him invested in the Institute as his digs up old memories of his rejection: Why didn't they choose him? What happened to the Institute? Was it a problem with them? Was there something wrong with him?
While Alice tries to get him to calm down and back off the Institute business (only going to the ruins with him because she thinks this will satisfy him enough to drop it), the new hire appears: Celia. Celia will get her own post soon, but she directly pushed Sam further into his Institute obsession, encouraging it throughout Season 1. She had her own reasons for this, of course, but her impact on Sam was very interesting. As they developed their romantic/sexual relationship, her manipulation of him was more clear to us (again, no hate on Celia for this!). They investigated Gertrude and Gerry, Jon and Martin, Basira, Georgie (although this was just Celia), Helen, and finally, Hilltop Road. Celia took advantage of Sam, wanting to learn about his past to help her stay in the TMAGP!verse. She used his trauma against him. And even so, when the Archivist attacked her, he tried to protect her. If we believe Celia, he saved her life by not only knocking the Archivist through the portal, but falling through himself.
I'm going to focus in on two scenes in particular now: 1st - The Mr. Bonzo scene with Gwen, and 2nd - his statement with the Archivist.
1) What I found interesting with the Mr. Bonzo scene, is that it read that Sam didn't feel aa if Gwen deserved to be believed. This is interesting because while Gwen was an arsehole for some of the series, most of her anger was directed towards Lena and Alice, not Sam. She helped Sam on multiple occasions and helped train him when Alice was late. He even told Gwen that one of the coffees that Alice got was for her (even though it wasn't), which meant a LOT to Gwen (she melted on the spot). This is one of the only times in S1, where we see Sam being just straight-up mean. While this could have been Sam just having a bad moment or something, I think there is more than that. This leads me into the 2nd scene I wanted to focus on: Sam's statement.
2) Sam's statement basically sums up to he ran away after he thought he failed his test, and stumbled into an experiment or ritual of some kind. He startles the person performing the experiment/ritual and which leads to it going haywire. The person' skeleton hatches out of him, and Sam says he can't look people in the face without seeing the skulls move, as if they were waiting to hatch. Sam tried to tell adults around him, but nobody believed him. I think this is why Sam was so cruel to Gwen. She was asking to be believed. She needed someone to confirm what was going on. But it had to be some sort of cruel prank, right? Why should she (who is self-righteous) believe when he, as a scared little kid, couldn't? It doesn't make sense. Sam wasn't believed, so why should Gwen be? This basically boils down to the fact that Sam was bitter that the adults in his life let him down (similar to Michael in TMA). Now, when Alice ran into one to the Archivist's victims, she was believed. Why? Because Sam still had a soft spot for her. She was his best friend (or at least, a very close one), and she needed support. She helped him explore the ruins, so why shouldn't he do this for her? He simply did not have that connection with Gwen. She was a friend, sure, but there was no reason why she should be believed. There was no mutal transaction. This could also explain why he protected Celia. Not only did he have a soft spot for her, but she helped him so much with exploring the Institute. It was a mutal transaction.
And that's Sam! He's an interesting character and feels very real/flesh out already. I can't wait to see what shenanigans he gets up to in S2! :D

Spider-man: The Animated Series - Season 1 Overview
And so we have arrived at the end of season one, which means it’s time for another seasonal overview! Just like my recent TNG entry, my rating is based on the season’s average. I’ve included the individual episode ratings, along with links to my reviews below, if you care to check them out. But right now let’s get down to business.
Season 1 of ‘Spider-man: The animated series’ has earned a rating of…
2.76 stars (out of 5)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To be clear, I consider anything above three stars as ‘good’ or better, whereas I would consider 2.5 to be “not very good, but entertaining enough for me to not overtly hate on it either.” Needless to say, 2.76 is not an amazing score, but it is a fairly accurate assessment of where the show (thus far) stands. There are both strong and weak episodes alike, but none that I would consider ‘great.’
[If anyone actually cares for me to expand on my rating system, feel free to leave a comment or ‘ask a question’ etc. and I’ll be happy to share, but I won’t pretend it’s not largely subjective. Then again, anyone who rates art claiming to use a purely objective, merit based approach, tends to be (respectfully) at-least-halfway full of shit.]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Overall, I think this is genuinely a solid cartoon for kids, which faithfully brings Spider-man’s merry band of friends-and-foes alike to life. Most of the episodes do a decent job of introducing the characters, while leaving room for their stories to grow and evolve. Ultimately, ‘Spider-man’ would go on to take full advantage of its serialized format, but this season comes with more growing pains than I’d (unsurprisingly) noticed as a child. Either way I think my score reflects that while the show is ideal for children (which, to be fair, is-and-ought-to-be the writer’s main priority), it also falls just short of living up to my rose-coloured childhood memories.
As these things tend to happen, there was something of a push to curb violent content being depicted in children’s programming at the time ‘Spider-man’ was being developed. Evidently it would appear not every show shared the same restrictions, and for whatever reason Spidey ended up with some fairly strange ones. Whether this truly created any disproportionate challenges compared to other shows is pure conjecture (according to showrunner John Semper, it didn't), but it definitely had an impact on the aesthetic. several of the censorship notes included (but were not limited to)…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
No punching: Kicking and throwing were totally okay, obviously, since children are famously incapable of imitating those particular acts.
No Pigeons were harmed in the making of this cartoon: Apparently the censors were deeply concerned over the prospect of Spider-man landing on, and/or otherwise harming New York’s resident pigeon population whilst swinging around the rooftops. And no that’s not a joke, that is apparently a real note that John Semper received while the series was being developed. Never mind that wanton pigeon-slaughter has never been a characteristic synonymous with the web-head, or the fact that the animators would have to intentionally go out of their way to painstakingly render multiple frames of animation, in order for that to happen.
Guns are good, bullets are bad: Which is why every gun in the show exclusively discharges laser blasts, and appear to be designed for an 80’s Star Wars cartoon.
Killing, and death were forbidden: And I’m not talking about the act itself; It was already standard practice to prohibit onscreen deaths in virtually every Saturday morning cartoon. No, I’m referring to the use of the actual words. Consequently Spider-man’s enemies all threaten to “destroy” or “eliminate” him, but never kill. They may be criminals, but they’re not monsters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bizarre censorship guidelines aside, I’ve also heard the show had a limited budget, consequently some of the animation tends to feel cheap, and would be frequently recycled. Virtually every episode reuses the same explosion effects and sequences of Spider-man swinging over the city (sometimes flipped around if he needed to be traveling in the opposite direction), which is all common enough, but it would also happen with entire action sequences too. For instance, in the first appearance of Dr. Octopus, there’s a sequence where spider-man dodges the good doctor’s tentacles, as they smash into stacks of wooden crates in the background; And in virtually every episode where Doc Ock returns, that same sequence can be found time and again (apparently New York has crates in places that defy reason). That’s just one example, but it was a remarkably common occurrence with the other villains as well, to the point where I remember noticing it as a kid.
That's not to say any of this stuff is enough to ruin the show, but I do feel it affected the final product enough to affect a dip in quality, especially when comparing it to Batman: The animated series, which premiered several years earlier. Nonetheless, ‘Spider-man: TAS’ has still earned its place as the first-and-most comprehensive adaptation of the character, and arguably the best, at least up until the release of ‘Spectacular Spider-man’ roughly a decade later. With everything it had going against it, I find myself admiring the sheer earnestness and visual creativity on display. Whatever it lacks in style and production value, it more than makes up for in heart, creating a world not dissimilar from the ones I’d imagined while smashing plastic action figures together on a bookshelf-turned-skyscraper.
So maybe season one isn’t technically as strong as I remember, but it will always be a classic.

Hudson and Rex S04E07 - A Stab in the Dark Web Part B
"We've got a surveillance team in place." That's great. Will you remember this in a few hours? Will they, even? Why were they so "discreet" as to let Eva near Charlie's laptop when they knew she shouldn't be on it?
Tumblr media
Sarah is not jealous AT ALL. Nope. Not picking up anything.
Tumblr media
"I'm so going to take advantage of this information."
Tumblr media
Like, how can I not pin this on the whole team? Joe suggested that Charlie's place was the best place for Eva to be in, when they already thought that they were compromised, which meant that they should have assumed their home addresses were compromised as well. Charlie leaves Eva alone at his house so that Rex can go pee instead of calling either Sarah or Jesse to take him out, which would leave one cop in the van and one guarding Eva, instead of having two in the van (which helps at nothing) and zero in the house. Then we have the house which is supposedly under surveillance by Jesse and Sarah, supposedly watching, but they don't alert Charlie to the fact that Eva touched his laptop. Once Charlie realizes that she's done that, he takes her explanation at face value and doesn't ask Jesse to check his laptop.
The graphic for the disappearing chat messages on the dark web is fun.
I've had some contact with libertarians over the years, more than I'd personally like. All the talk about revolutions and whatnot, and their fondness for the dark web are indeed real. When crypto had first risen, lots of them were salivating at the idea of an unregulated and anonymous form of currency, and even more when they discovered private cryptocurrencies (which supposedly offer an extra layer of anonymity). It's funny, though, that they thought even for a bit that governments and banks would let them do that. Anyway, what I want to say is that Joe wouldn't know how to talk to that person at all. But let's disregard that.
Tumblr media
"I can't believe that I left her with a laptop and she opened it! I said no electronics!"
And then he gives her his phone too. Forget Sarah, why didn't Jesse burst into the house?
It's true that the way some drugs are regulated actually hinders some people who could benefit from them, instead of helping. Still, in that moment, Eva is pretty much selling a sob story to Charlie, which isn't even the whole truth since she also needed those drugs for herself, to try to get him on her side.
Tumblr media
This is a very appropriate distance.
Tumblr media
Sarah looks like she'd fallen asleep and just woke up for the good part. Which would actually make more sense than whatever they were doing in the van with Jesse.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First time I watched this I was like, eh, let the guy kiss someone if it's not Sarah. I hadn't realized he was entering his slut era. Also, yeah, Sarah, they are, this is a very astute observation.
Tumblr media
And Jesse is entering his pervert era.
Tumblr media
I can't decide if he was thinking "I'm so screwed" or "I wonder if Sarah is watching".
Tumblr media
I love that Rex is thoroughly disappointed by that development. Rex was all of us in S4.
And then the ninjas attacked. I'm assuming our surveillance is too busy watching the Charlie Hudson show to see the guy approaching the house?
Dude had knives everywhere. Charlie was lucky he wasn't hit (and I was unlucky).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I'm having a really bad day. Thank you for letting me get off some steam."
Tumblr media
This is the only slightly disapproving look I can find. I mean, given the circumstances, she could have said something.
Tumblr media
What a plot twist! She lied and she used you, Charlie. Also, again, where were the rest of you when she was using Charlie's laptop?
Tumblr media
More bad news.
Tumblr media
I... have questions. Like, where did the paramedics go? Did she make them abandon the ambulance? And was that before or after she tied Rex to the stretcher? This scene was executed sloppily.
Tumblr media
Congratulations, you finally figured out why he wouldn't leave Eva's side. I think that played a part in Charlie trusting Eva.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their brilliant ideas to subdue an angry guard dog is: pet behind the ears, put jazz music... Are you kidding me? At least Jesse thought of food.
I feel like they should have made Mercurius seem more scary and money-hungry or even power-hungry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In which season?
Tumblr media
Sorry, that's just funny. I really don't think he's ever made the first move.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Oh god, he still doesn't get it. Because it was easier for her to manipulate you when you didn't have all the facts!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bold of you to assume that Charlie would follow, but he's definitely not at his best. This is actually using Rex as Charlie's weakness, unlike the previous episode. Although I don't think Charlie should risk that jump regardless. Also, really, a dog wouldn't have made it? I find that hard to believe, they seem like better jumpers than humans. And have more legs.
Tumblr media
Yeah, even at his worst, he will do the right thing.
Oh, yeah, we forgot all the hitmen that might come for her. Whoops.
The more they show that cliff, the more confident I become that Rex would have survived it and Charlie wouldn't.
Tumblr media
Angst.
Joe: "There's nothing you or any of us could have done." Except for your jobs, but better?
Tumblr media
Poor Charlie. He's definitely not okay. I wish they'd written something deeper about what's wrong with him.
Tumblr media
And this is Eva letting Charlie know that she made it and even had time to hack the app to let him know that she's okay.
I like this episode but it always makes me think of what it could have been if it was another show, another production and another network involved.
Once again, I'd like to focus on the fact that after a certain point in the episode where it becomes clear that Charlie's head is not in the game, no one says anything about it. No one pulls him back, no one asks if he's okay or even what the fuck he's doing. I guess they keep all the second-guessing for the last episode of the season. Charlie tried to do his job until the very end but I think the distractions were just too much for him and they're indicative of his state of mind.
And they all made mistakes. I still don't know where to pin the surveillance failure, there were two people in the van. They should have intervened in two separate instances, one to take the laptop away from Eva and one to intercept the masked guy who also might have strolled right next to the van. Am I to presume that they put cameras inside the house and not outside? Where they suspecting Eva more than they suspected someone would show up to kill her? In both cases, they failed.
Again, this less than stellar performance from our characters is a great reason for Adele to show up and say that they need more oversight. But some part of this would have to make it to the reports for that to happen.
I've written thoughts on this episode before. I'd pointed out that Eva notices some sort of kinship and attraction between her and Charlie and she tries to use them to her advantage. Which is why the morality of their kiss is more complex than it seems at first glance. At first glance it might seem like he's the one taking advantage. He's not. Is it still wrong that he let her kiss him, and from the way the scene is shot, for several seconds too? Yes. But I remember from the first moment this episode came out, reading about how he was in a position of power. And in that scene, to me, he always comes off as... powerless. Lost.
I understand the contradictory opinions this episode causes. Personally, I like the episodes where there is an upset. We have too many episodes where everything feels like another day on the job, and it doesn't seem to affect them in either way and the repercussions begin and end in that episode. In this one we do see Charlie visibly upset. I'd have liked to see the rest of the team more worried about him or even frustrated and not understanding his predicament. I'd have liked friction more than getting a mention in the finale. There was something there worth exploring.
I'll say again that it would have been a much better storyline to write something about depression or PTSD for Charlie rather than heartbreak throughout the season. Or a combination. He has been through a lot. Maybe I'm asking again too much of this show and this belongs to fanfictions.

Races/Species!
The people have spoken and they yearn have the knowledge of the different races/species in the book. And that, I shall provide! So let's get to it.
The Upper Class
Fae: The fae, one of the most widespread, and one of the oldest races dating far back in history. Naturally born with magic, and often characterized by their wings and pointed ears. Known as the best magic wielders of the races, peace keepers, and the longest enduring race. Their line of royalty dating back centuries.
Elves: Elves were once the most discriminated against for their lack in magic. Although, after time they've discovered, and developed ways to wield magic themselves, although many question how, and if they should wield what they were not born with. Known as the holders of intelligence, many of their best entrepreneurs, engineers, and many others that are the pillars for progress.
Both of theses ruling races live at the center of the Kingdom. This unlikely pair brought together by the King and Queen, a symbol of the two sides united. Nature and progress tied together to rule.
The Working and Lower Class
Nymphs: Nymphs are the second most common races. Some believe them to be lesser fae. Nymphs fall into one of the four factions: terrestrial, marine, or botany (land animal, sea life, or plant) Their appearance, and skills tend to correlate to their faction, which tends to be a genetic traits; though, it is still unknown how that faction expresses itself is defined. Nymphs often tend to work in the fields that relate to their faction (for example wood nymphs working in wood shops, or construction etc)
Selkie: Selkie were once considered one of the "creatures of the wood" but late in the development of Nikomedes, their skills and calm demeanor were accepted into the Kingdom. Often appearing with leathery dark skin varying on hues of dark blue, purple, to black, and typically well noticed by their beady black eyes, and webbed ears and fingers. Often time Selkie work within medical fields, known for their extending knowledge in ailments, and cures. Others also occasionally working as seamster's/seamstress, or hairstylist's, with their delicate thin fingers making them excellent in the fields.
Satyr/Faun: Satyr and fauns, like the Selkie were once classified as creatures of the wood. Their leader, Mendes, made a trade agreement with the throne when his people were in a famine. The satyrs and faun were brought into the kingdom, becoming paid workers under previously established businesses, entertainers, or starting their own goods stores ranging from handcrafted flutes, carvings, and other miscellaneous items. Known as excellent craftsman, and their skills in the artistic field.
Beorn: Beorn are a warrior race that typically dwell in the rocky mountains just outside the borders of Nikomedes. They are considered a mix race, what their bloodline first originated from is unknown. Bred and raised to be fighters, while not respected due to their mixed heritage, they are given the advantages of the working class due to their value to the throne, and the safety of Nikomedes. Tend to have a larger, and taller build, with tan to dark skin. Some may have leathery, bat-like wings, some may have tails, some may have neither or both. As far as anyone has been able to tell, it appears magic was bred out of their bloodline.
Lower Class:
Astomi: Astomi are mouthless, fae/nymph-like creatures. Not much is known about this race other than their silent, delicate nature. Generally serving as servants, maids, cooks, etc. for the royalty and occasionally highly regarded nobles as well.
Gwisin: Much like the Astomi, Wising are known for their silent nature. With a ghostly, spirit-like appearance, while some find quite uneasy, serve as the thrones direct servants, and maids. Occasionally, there are rumors Gwisin may also serve as spying ears for the throne due to their ability to phase out of view.
Hybrids/Abominations: Hybrids, the off-spring of inter-species couples are heavily looked down upon. Typically only serving as unpaid workers, simply go homeless, or end up street criminals. Their appearances often a mix of which races their parents were.
Creatures of the Wood:
Banshee: The Banshee, believed to be the oldest loving creature within the woods. Known to live in a seemingly abandoned cottage in the woods, luring lost wanderers to their death. Believed to be hauntingly beautiful, with a decievingly soft voice. Some believe, there is ine way to escape her fate, and that is if you have something interesting enough for her, rather it is a rare item, something new, or something shocking; though for someone older than any living thing, it can be hard to shock her.
Harpy: The most common wood dwellers, the Harpy are known to love amongst the trees, as skilled hunters and survivors, split amongst different tribes. Well known for their bird-like features, most especially their wings. Known to also value shiny items, and commonly attracted to them. Possibly one of the most "civilized" of the woodland creatures, but also one of the most dangerous.
Wraiths: Some believe to be myth, some believe to be real. Phantom like creatures in the wood, bearing dark robes that hide their hideous faces. Whether these wraiths are spirits of the dead, or are just as mortal as the rest, no one has had the skill to find out. Though, with sightings so rare, few, and brief, information is limited. Some believe they deliver last souls, while others believe they are reapers, taking the life of those lost and tired deep in the woods.

Connecting the dots of recent research suggests a new future for traditional websites:
Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered search can provide a full answer to a user’s query 75% of the time without the need for the user to go to a website, according to research by The Atlantic.
A worldwide survey from the University of Toronto revealed that 22% of ChatGPT users “use it as an alternative to Google.”
Research firm Gartner forecasts that traffic to the web from search engines will fall 25% by 2026.
Pew Research found that a quarter of all web pages developed between 2013 and 2023 no longer exist.
The large language models (LLMs) of generative AI that scraped their training data from websites are now using that data to eliminate the need to go to many of those same websites. Respected digital commentator Casey Newton concluded, “the web is entering a state of managed decline.” The Washington Post headline was more dire: “Web publishers brace for carnage as Google adds AI answers.”
From decentralized information to centralized conclusions
Created by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1989, the World Wide Web redefined the nature of the internet into a user-friendly linkage of diverse information repositories. “The first decade of the web…was decentralized with a long-tail of content and options,” Berners-Lee wrote this year on the occasion of its 35th anniversary.  Over the intervening decades, that vision of distributed sources of information has faced multiple challenges. The dilution of decentralization began with powerful centralized hubs such as Facebook and Google that directed user traffic. Now comes the ultimate disintegration of Berners-Lee’s vision as generative AI reduces traffic to websites by recasting their information.
The web’s open access to the world’s information trained the large language models (LLMs) of generative AI. Now, those generative AI models are coming for their progenitor.
The web allowed users to discover diverse sources of information from which to draw conclusions. AI cuts out the intellectual middleman to go directly to conclusions from a centralized source.
The AI paradigm of cutting out the middleman appears to have been further advanced in Apple’s recent announcement that it will incorporate OpenAI to enable its Siri app to provide ChatGPT-like answers. With this new deal, Apple becomes an AI-based disintermediator, not only eliminating the need to go to websites, but also potentially disintermediating the need for the Google search engine for which Apple has been paying $20 billion annually.
The Atlantic, University of Toronto, and Gartner studies suggest the Pew research on website mortality could be just the beginning. Generative AI’s ability to deliver conclusions cannibalizes traffic to individual websites threatening the raison d’être of all websites, especially those that are commercially supported.
Echoes of traditional media and the web
The impact of AI on the web is an echo of the web’s earlier impact on traditional information providers. “The rise of digital media and technology has transformed the way we access our news and entertainment,” the U.S. Census Bureau reported in 2022, “It’s also had a devastating impact on print publishing industries.” Thanks to the web, total estimated weekday circulation of U.S. daily newspapers fell from 55.8 million in 2000 to 24.2 million by 2020, according to the Pew Research Center.
The World Wide Web also pulled the rug out from under the economic foundation of traditional media, forcing an exodus to proprietary websites. At the same time, it spawned a new generation of upstart media and business sites that took advantage of its low-cost distribution and high-impact reach. Both large and small websites now feel the impact of generative AI.
Barry Diller, CEO of media owner IAC, harkened back to that history when he warned a year ago, “We are not going to let what happened out of free internet happen to post-AI internet if we can help it.” Ominously, Diller observed, “If all the world’s information is able to be sucked up in this maw, and then essentially repackaged in declarative sentence in what’s called chat but isn’t chat…there will be no publishing; it is not possible.”
The New York Times filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft alleging copyright infringement from the use of Times data to train LLMs. “Defendants seek to free-ride on The Times’s massive investment in its journalism,” the suit asserts, “to create products that substitute for The Times and steal audiences away from it.”1
Subsequently, eight daily newspapers owned by Alden Global Capital, the nation’s second largest newspaper publisher, filed a similar suit. “We’ve spent billions of dollars gathering information and reporting news at our publications, and we can’t allow OpenAI and Microsoft to expand the Big Tech playbook of stealing our work to build their own businesses at our expense,” a spokesman explained.
The legal challenges are pending. In a colorful description of the suits’ allegations, journalist Hamilton Nolan described AI’s threat as an “Automated Death Star.”
“Providential opportunity”?
Not all content companies agree. There has been a groundswell of leading content companies entering into agreements with OpenAI.
In July 2023, the Associated Press became the first major content provider to license its archive to OpenAI. Recently, however, the deal-making floodgates have opened. Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, home of The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and multiple other publications in Australia and the United Kingdom, German publishing giant Axel Springer, owner of Politico in the U.S. and Bild  and Welt in Germany, venerable media company The Atlantic, along with new media company Vox Media, the Financial Times, Paris’ Le Monde, and Spain’s Prisa Media have all contracted with OpenAI for use of their product.
Even Barry Diller’s publishing unit, Dotdash Meredith, agreed to license to OpenAI, approximately a year after his apocalyptic warning.
News Corp CEO Robert Thomson described his company’s rationale this way in an employee memo: “The digital age has been characterized by the dominance of distributors, often at the expense of creators, and many media companies have been swept away by a remorseless technological tide. The onus is now on us to make the most of this providential opportunity.”
“There is a premium for premium journalism,” Thomson observed. That premium, for News Corp, is reportedly $250 million over five years from OpenAI. Axel Springer’s three-year deal is reportedly worth $25 to $30 million. The Financial Times terms were reportedly in the annual range of $5 to $10 million.
AI companies’ different approaches
While publishers debate whether AI is “providential opportunity” or “stealing our work,” a similar debate is ongoing among AI companies. Different generative AI companies have different opinions whether to pay for content, and if so, which kind of content.
When it comes to scraping information from websites, most of the major generative AI companies have chosen to interpret copyright law’s “fair use doctrine” allowing the unlicensed use of copyrighted content in certain circumstances. Some of the companies have even promised to indemnify their users if they are sued for copyright infringement.
Google, whose core business is revenue generated by recommending websites, has not sought licenses to use the content on those websites. “The internet giant has long resisted calls to compensate media companies for their content, arguing that such payments would undermine the nature of the open web,” the New York Times explained. Google has, however, licensed the user-generated content on social media platform Reddit, and together with Meta has pursued Hollywood rights.
OpenAI has followed a different path. Reportedly, the company has been pitching a “Preferred Publisher Program” to select content companies. Industry publication AdWeek reported on a leaked presentation deck describing the program. The publication said OpenAI “disputed the accuracy of the information” but claimed to have confirmed it with four industry executives. Significantly, the OpenAI pitch reportedly offered not only cash remuneration, but also other benefits to cooperating publishers.
As of early June 2024, other large generative AI companies have not entered into website licensing agreements with publishers.
Content companies surfing an AI tsunami
On the content creation side of the equation, major publishers are attempting to avoid a repeat of their disastrous experience in the early days of the web while smaller websites are fearful the impact on them could be even greater.
As the web began to take business from traditional publishers, their leadership scrambled to find a new economic model. Ultimately, that model came to rely on websites, even though website advertising offered them pennies on their traditional ad dollars. Now, even those assets are under attack by the AI juggernaut. The content companies are in a new race to develop an alternative economic model before their reliance on web search is cannibalized.
The OpenAI Preferred Publisher Program seems to be an attempt to meet the needs of both parties.
The first step in the program is direct compensation. To Barry Diller, for instance, the fact his publications will get “direct compensation for our content” means there is “no connection” between his apocalyptic warning 14 months ago and his new deal with OpenAI.
Reportedly, the cash compensation OpenAI is offering has two components: “guaranteed value” and “variable value.” Guaranteed value is compensation for access to the publisher’s information archive. Variable value is payment based on usage of the site’s information.
Presumably, those signing with OpenAI see it as only the first such agreement. “It is in my interest to find agreements with everyone,” Le Monde CEO Louis Dreyfus explained.
But the issue of AI search is greater than simply cash. Atlantic CEO Nicolas Thompson described the challenge: “We believe that people searching with AI models will be one of the fundamental ways that people navigate to the web in the future.” Thus, the second component in OpenAI’s proposal to publishers appears to be promotion of publisher websites within the AI-generated content. Reportedly, when certain publisher content is utilized, there will be hyperlinks and hover links to the websites themselves, in addition to clickable buttons to the publisher.
Finally, the proposal reportedly offers publishers the opportunity to reshape their business using generative AI technology. Such tools include access to OpenAI content for the publishers’ use, as well as the use of OpenAI for writing stories and creating new publishing content.
Back to the future?
Whether other generative AI and traditional content companies embrace this kind of cooperation model remains to be seen. Without a doubt, however, the initiative by both parties will have its effects.
One such effect was identified in a Le Monde editorial explaining their licensing agreement with OpenAI. Such an agreement, they argued, “will make it more difficult for other AI platforms to evade or refuse to participate.” This, in turn, could have an impact on the copyright litigation, if not copyright law.
We have seen new technology-generated copyright issues resolved in this way before.2 Finding a credible solution that works for both sides is imperative. The promise of AI is an almost boundless expansion of information and the knowledge it creates. At the same time, AI cannot be a continued degradation of the free flow of ideas and journalism that is essential for democracy to function.
Newton’s Law in the AI age
In 1686 Sir Isaac Newton posited his three laws of motion. The third of these holds that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Newton described the consequence of physical activity; generative AI is raising the same consequential response for informational activity.
The threat of generative AI has pushed into the provision of information and the economics of information companies. We know the precipitating force, the consequential effects on the creation of content and free flow of information remain a work in progress.

Trusted outsource software development teams - SSTech System
Tumblr media
Outsource software development is the practice of relinquishing software-related duties to outside singularities or organizations. Outsourcing is used by firms to acquire software services and products from outside firms that do not have direct employees or employees under contract to the business entity that is outsourcing.
Infect, the outsourcing market worldwide is projected to grow by 8.28% (2025-2029) resulting in a market volume of US$812.70bn in 2029. This model is highly versatile and suits businesses of all sizes.
Start-ups often use outsourcing to develop MVPs quickly, while established companies might seek custom software development services or AI outsourcing services to address complex challenges. Outsourcing can include working with offshore development teams, global software development partners, or local experts like Australian software development experts for specific projects.
The benefits of outsourcing software development
Outsourcing has become a cornerstone for modern businesses due to its numerous advantages. Here’s a closer look at the key benefits:
1. Cost efficiency
Perhaps the biggest incentive for sourcing solutions from outsourcing service providers is the cost cutting factor. For instance, offshore software development in India provides expertise services at comparatively lower cost than that of in-house developed services in Western countries. This efficiency enable the enactments of cost savings in some other strategic sectors of the organization.
2. Access to global talent
Outsourcing can help to discover the wealth of new talents as well as the skills of professionals from other countries. No matter Whether it’s AI and machine learning integration, web application development in Australia, or outsourced healthcare software development, businesses can find experts in virtually any domain.
3. Scalability and flexibility
Outsourcing offers flexibility that is unparalleled in many organizations today. This is because; firms are able to expand and contract particular teams depending on the specific demand in projects. For example, outsourced IT solutions help business organizations prepare for different conditions while not having to employ permanent workers.
4. Faster time-to-market
With reliable software development teams in Australia or offshore development teams in India, businesses can speed up their project timelines. This helps innovations to make it through to the market early enough, which is useful for companies.
5. Focus on core activities
By delegating tasks like software maintenance and support or cloud software development in Australia to outsourcing partners, businesses can focus on their core competencies and strategic goals.
6. Reduced risk
In-house staff and trained outsourcing partners come with best practices, methods and procedures which when implemented reduce the chances of project hitch. Working with the top-rated IT outsourcing companies in Australia gives you confidence that your project is in safe hands.
Choosing the right outsourced software development partner
Tumblr media
In the period from 2023 to 2027, the revenue of software outsourcing is forecasted to thrive at a CAGR of 7.54%. So, outsourcing partner selection is one of the most vital components since it determines the success of a given venture. Here are essential factors to consider:
1. Technical expertise
Check the partner’s competency and his knowledge of the field.  For instance, SSTech System Outsourcing offers comprehensive solutions, from AI development services in India to mobile app development outsourcing in Australia.
2. Proven track record
Look for partners with a strong portfolio and positive client testimonials. A proven track record in delivering custom software development services or managing outsourcing software development contracts is a good indicator of reliability.
3. Effective communication
Effective and open communication is extremely important if the project is to be successful. Work with people who give frequent reports and employ efficient media to overcome the differences in time areas.
4. Cultural compatibility
There has to be a cultural match or at least appreciation for each other’s customs for there to be harmony in the working relationship. As such, staffed with proficient Australia software development experts or offshore development teams, whose experience is to work on global markets can coordinate and blend well with your work culture.
5. Security and compliance
You have to make sure that your partner complies with the standards and the policies that are in the industry. This is especially substantial for all information-sensitive projects such as outsourced healthcare software development or cloud software development in Australia.
6. Scalable infrastructure
Choose a partner capable of scaling their resources and infrastructure to meet your project’s evolving needs. This is crucial for long-term collaborations, especially with global software development partners.
AI-powered tools for outsourced development teams
According to a report from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, software development ranks among the most sought-after professions. Hence, AI is at the forefront of reshaping the outsourcing industry. Therefore, the implementation of artificial intelligence will add value to business processes, make workflow easier, and boost the results of projects. Here are some examples:
1. Automated code reviews
Tools like DeepCode and SonarQube assist outsourced teams in detecting whether errors reside in the code line or not, and whether code needs to be enriched or not. This is particularly accurate concerning AI outsourcing and in-house development industries.
2. Predictive analytics
Automated analytics tools can predict such things as the time it will take to complete the project, how much money it will cost, and what risks are possible in a software development outsourcing scenario.
3. Smart project management
Tools and platforms such as Jira and Monday.com, when empowered with AI, allow the coordination of tasks and the tracking of progress and resource allocation.
4. AI collaboration tools
Communication and collaboration with internal members and offshore software development Australia partners get facilitated through applications that include, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and zoom with integrated AI functions.
5. Natural Language Processing (NLP)
AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants simplify communication and issue resolution, making them valuable for managing outsourced IT solutions.
Best practices for managing outsourced development teams
Outsourced teams should be mandated and coordinated following a number of recommendations to ensure the efficiency of the entirety of the outsourcing process.
Here are the best practices to ensure your project’s success:
1. Set clear objectives
Make it clear to your project team, stakeholders, and other relevant parties what the parameters of the project are, what it is that you expect out of it, and what you expect to get from it in return. This fostaines consistency between your team and the outsourcing partner to increase efficiency in service delivery.
2. Choose the right tools
Use project tracking and collaboration software approaches to track and evaluate progress and meet regular informality and collaboration targets.
3. Foster a collaborative environment
It is worthy of note that constant communication is key to ensuring that your outsourcing team is on the same page with you. Fresh produce and feedback mechanisms need to be provided in order for there to be trust as is needed in project management.
4. Draft comprehensive contracts
There should be a comprehensive outsourcing software development contract. It should address issues to do with confidentiality, ownership of ideas and concepts, plea structure and mode of handling disputes.
5. Focus on long-term relationships
Building a long-term partnership with trusted providers like SSTech System Solutions can lead to consistent quality and better project outcomes.
Conclusion
To keep up with technology, outsourcing software development offers businesses solutions and support that can enable the creation of complex solutions out of mere ideas. Outsourcing has the benefits of minute overhead cost and is also a rich source of globally talented employees, and it offers the advantage of early time to market. Whether you’re looking for mobile app development outsourcing in Australia or seeking offshore software development in India or opting for AI outsourcing services, the potential is huge.
Such companies can only benefit from opting for reliable outsourcing companies such as SSTech System Outsourcing and embracing industry best practices to promote the success of business project implementations while enhancing market relevance. As technologies like AI and cloud computing are still changing the face of the outsourcing market, software development outsourcing will still be important for any company that wants to survive in a digital world.
Take the first step today—partner with global software development partners and unlock the full potential of your ideas with the power of outsourcing.

The Hidden Power of Local Directories in Boosting Your Clinic’s Search Rankings
