You sat in your small cubicle. Desk littered with different files and stacks of papers, all different stories and articles you were assigned to. All of them were basic sideline stories: Local Grandma Lives To See 98; Dog Shelters Reaching Capacity; This Miracle Plant Will Save Your Gut!- boring. 

You began shuffling through a few stacks of files mindlessly, only a couple minutes until your short, mandated break. When you feel the hairs stand on the back of your neck you raise your eyes, wondering what could give you this weird feeling that you’re being watched. As you scan the surrounding cubicles your eyes land on him staring directly at you, unwavering. It was slightly unsettling really, but he makes up for it with that small smile of his.

Alex Law is no stranger to you, hell you’re sure he isn’t a stranger to half the other women in this room. Lately though, instead of dancing from girl to girl, he has been solely paying attention to you. You don’t mind of course, but you can’t help but wonder what thoughts were going on in that beautiful head of his.

With a raise of his eyebrows and a tap of his watch you avert your eyes to a clock on the wall. Break time. You smile and get up, making your way to a small and mostly empty break room. No more than a minute later he comes walking in.

“A little funny how often our breaks matchup like this, you aren’t stalking me, are you?” You smile as you watch him take a quick look at the coffee bar.

“Wouldn’t dream of it, sweetheart.” He shoots back a grin and then looks as though he is contemplating something. “Actually it’s quite convenient, I need to discuss something with you about a story, but I need to get a few supplies from the closet. Would you mind walking with me?”

“Of course, lead the way.” You reply and begin following him out of the break room. You two feign small conversation on the way to the supply closet, a small space in a hallway practically no one walked through. 

Once you both walked in and the door was closed it was as if a switch flipped. No more than a second after you heard the click of the handle his lips were on yours, soft hands on your hips already pulling you close. You of course reciprocated, hands flying up to run through his gorgeous blonde locks. This always earned a soft sigh from him that never ceased to make your heart flutter. 

His lips moved against yours softly, sensually, as though he was taking his time. You’d be lying if this didn’t slightly catch you off guard. His usual methods more on the rough and quick side, not that you minded of course, you just never really expected to see this side of him. You felt the familiar warmth of his tongue against your lower lip, a question you were always eager to answer. Instead of plunging his tongue down your throat, he crept in. He let himself explore your mouth as though it was his first time tasting you.

He snaked one arm around your waist and brought the other up to cup your cheek, turning your face just slightly so he could pull you even closer, if that was even possible. You felt entirely out of your depth, usually these sessions were all about him, but this time the entire focus was you. A gentle thumb stroked your cheek as his other hand gently rubbed circles in your back. His sweet and smoky tongue danced with yours in delicate waltzes. It was completely out of character and honestly you were starting to feel slightly worried.

Once you both pulled away to breathe you looked at him curiously, eyeing his bottom lip that was wet with your saliva, “That was… quite different. Good, but different,”

You began to see a light blush creep onto his cheeks. Alex Law, blushing? You must be dreaming. “What can I say, I’m just full of surprises.” He replied with his signature, cocky grin.

“Is there a particular reason for this pleasant change in behavior, or should I be worried about our office shenanigans?” You asked with a small laugh, but he looked away from you. Before you could get the chance to ask him what was wrong-

“I want you to meet my roommates. Come have dinner with us, Juliet makes a brilliant Carbonara.” He stared into your eyes expectantly, awaiting an answer.

You stared back, eyes growing wide with surprise. “Come to your place? Meet your roommates? Are you sure? That feels like a big step for us, don’t you think? I don’t.. I don’t know if your roommates would even like me-” Your slightly panicked ramble was cut off when Alex rolled his eyes and kissed you again. Another soft kiss that had your words caught in your throat. He began moving his lips to your jaw and down your neck, softly nibbling and sucking in spots he knew all too well. With a sigh you were practically putty in his hands.

“Next Saturday,” He begins between kisses, “I’ll come pick you up at 6, dinner at 7.” He sounded very final in the matter. You were in no position to argue, you simply nodded and sighed as he continued to lick, nibble and suck along your throat. You were sure you were going to have to cover up with a scarf before you stepped back into the office.

He trailed his way back up and placed another, more passionate, kiss on your lips, hands holding either side of your face. When he pulled back he was practically beaming.

“Great, see you at 6.” He then tilted your head down and planted a very quick kiss to your forehead before abandoning you altogether and leaving the supply closet. But a moment later he was peeking back inside, “And for the record, they will love you.” and then he was gone again.

Oh my goodness, I could go on forever about him and what I imagine his backstory to be. I’m so sorry for how long this will be, but you’ve unleashed a can of worms and I thank you for that! So here we go!

It started with me being convinced that if Nico and Kai ever met, they would have a rivalry going on and Levi and Amelia would find it adorable yet slightly annoying cuz they get along so well. And Levi would tell Nico not to annoy his mentor’s partner, but Amelia would just laugh.

We don’t know much about where Nico’s from or his family, except that he’s not out to them even thou he was out to people in his daily life and they can be really critical. So I imagine he grew up in a traditional Korean Italian home (cuz Alex Landi is Korean Italian, and I have person experience with homophobic Italian family members so I’m projecting). He’s a middle child with two brothers. He gives off competitive energy that comes with having siblings, and kinda seems like he’s used to being overlooked and fighting for attention, like a middle child.

His older brother (I’m going to refer to him as Siwon since that’s who I imagine his actor to be) is something his parents deem successful, I’m thinking a lawyer cuz I want Nico to have a totally different career path then him. He was an honours student, always top of his class. He has a beautiful wife (who he met in highschool), a son and a daughter on the way. His life is perfect in his parents eyes. He’s maybe two or three years older than Nico. Nico always felt like he was in his brother’s shadow, but he respected and looked up to him. I feel like their parents would constantly be comparing the two, like “Siwon was valedictorian, are you going to be?” and “Nico was nominated for homecoming king, are you nominated for prom king?”

His younger brother (referred to as Rowoon for the same reason as his older brother) is five or six years younger, and he’s spoiled by their parents. While they’re critical of the older two, the youngest is their pride and joy and they don’t mind him doing whatever he wants because the other two are successful enough. Rowoon loves Nico and idolizes him in almost the same way that Nico did with his older brother. But Nico is much kinder and receptive to it, and he’s always supportive to Rowoon. I think Rowoon would have much more natural talent and smarts, so he doesn’t have to work as hard as the other two and he has a lot less pressure. While the other two were expected to have a 98-100% average in everything, Rowoon’s sitting at like 95% and their parents are still proud of him.

Nico was raised with traditional catholic Italian and Korean views being shoved at him. So when he starts realizing he might like boys, it’s not exactly something he can come out and say or act on while he’s living with his parents. He probably wanted to go into sports, (likely baseball or soccer, but we’ll go with baseball cuz of his job with the mariners) rather then law or med school. He played baseball in highschool, getting scholarships to play for a few varsity teams. Only for his parents to push him to go to law school like Siwon, which he reluctantly agrees, figuring he can go in to sports law.

While Nico is in his last year of highschool, early on in the year, he meets this boy who he has a crush on. And they start seeing each other in secret. Until one night Siwon catches them, probably the cliche making out in Nico’s room when his brother barges in and freaks out. He kicks the boy out and tells Nico he needs to stop seeing him. Nico says he will as long as his brother doesn’t tell their parents and Siwon agrees, saying their parents can never find out. But having Siwon react in such a negative way ruins the image Nico had of him. So he decides he doesn’t want to go to law school, he wants to persue baseball mostly in defiance.

His parents hate that idea, and really push for him to still go to law school. He ignores them and does start to persue baseball in his undergrad, taking one of the scholar ships he was offered. He’s incredibly talented so while they aren’t happy, his parents still support him as long as he continues to be one of the best players on his team and maintains his high grades.

In his first year he gets an injury, something that requires surgery to fix. But the surgery goes wrong, and his career in baseball is over before it could ever really start. Despite pushing himself with physio and working as hard as he can to get back to being able to play, it’s just not possible in the time frame he would need for professional sports. He takes it incredibly hard, and while Rowoon is his major support system, his parents and Siwon treat it like a failure. So Nico decides to go to med school, to become an orthopaedic surgeon and make sure no one else has to go through what he did. His parents are ecstatic about the change, and it’s the first time he feels like they’re actually proud of him.

He quickly catches up, becoming top of his classes. He thrives in university, coming out to his friends and he’s genuinely happy.

But he still feels like he has to hide who he is when he’s at home and he hates it. He never has a boyfriend for long, because then he’d have to deal with bringing them home and coming out. It never mattered cuz he hadn’t met anyone he wanted to be with long term. But it’s still a massive part of his identity that he’s hiding from his parents and Rowoon, still scared they’d react in the same way his Siwon did. And while he would probably come out to his parents and risk it, he doesn’t want to loose Rowoon or put him at odds with their parents, especially while he’s still living with them.

So years later when he meets Levi, he doesn’t want to have to hide who he is in the only place he can be open. He’s hypocritical because he thinks Levi doesn’t have as much to loose as Nico and he sees it as wasted opportunity. And Nico doesn’t want to be that highschool boy his brother kicked out of his room all those years ago. He doesn’t want Levi to be ashamed of him like Nico was of that boy, and he doesn’t want the memories of being ashamed of himself and who he was to come back while Levi discovers his own sexuality.

Nico’s never had someone he cares that much about, never wanted to actually bring someone home to meet his parents or his brothers. But then he falls hard for Levi and suddenly it’s turning serious and he doesn’t know what to do about it. So he’s awkward and hypocritical and a pretty terrible boyfriend at times, but he is trying.

Then he accidentally kills a patient. And Siwon is showing up to make sure legally he doesn’t get in trouble. His parents find out through Siwon, and they seem disappointed which only adds to his pain. And Levi being overbearing while Siwon is in town doesn’t help, because he doesn’t want his brother to find out he has a serious relationship with a man. He’s also not good with emotions, or people seeing him when he’s emotional, which is why he pulls away so much.

And then the pandemic happens and he really misses Levi. He knows he’s not emotionally ready to commit to anyone yet, and they aren’t really good for each other at the time. But he figures if he can have Levi in any way he’s going to take it, cuz the world is a mess and he needs some kind of happiness. When Levi basically gives him the ultimatum of serious relationship or nothing, he chooses serious relationship. Because he doesn’t want to loose Levi, and it’s a huge wake up call that he really does care about someone in a way he never had before.

I think Levi pushing Nico away after he opened up to Levi hurt, really bad. Cuz Nico had never let himself be that vulnerable with another person, and he didn’t know how to cope with that. So he gave Levi the space that he wanted when he went through a similar experience. Not really realizing that Levi needed him to be there and to fight for them, until Levi told him. But even though he’s come so far and started to unravel his closed off, emotionless persona adopted by someone who’s parents didn’t let them be a child, Nico knows he can’t give Levi what he wants, not when he’s still dealing with his own internalized homophobia and inability to be honest with himself and his family. He thinks Levi deserves someone who is ready to be all in, and even though he thought he could be, that’s not him, not yet.

Nico saying his default is numb is really telling that he can’t process his feelings right away, he suppresses them. Which would make sense if he’s grown up with critical parents that expect him to be perfect all the time. He wouldn’t know how to deal with failure or rejection, because he’s never had the luxury of doing any of those things. Even loosing his ability to play baseball professionally wouldn’t have been a failure to him, because it led him to being a surgeon which his parents were much happier about. And I think that reflects in his relationships too, that when there’s any kind of conflict he just shuts down, he goes numb. He either gets overly agreeable or he pulls away from the situation entirely. And I think he started to realize that it’s not a healthy coping mechanism after his talk with Levi in the elevator.

So he jumps at the opportunity to leave and work for the Mariners. It’s a dream job, it’s one of the reason he decided to go to med school in the first place, and it gives him and Levi space to figure themselves out. It lets Levi experience different relationships and find himself, while Nico learns to deal with his emotions and not suppress them. But while he’s there, he finds out he hates it. He doesn’t like having to tell these athletes that their careers are over, he doesn’t like feeling like he failed him when there was nothing he could do. It reminds him of when he was going through the exact same thing. Even if his success rate is the highest it’s ever been, he still doesn’t think he’s good enough. Saving fifty patients doesn’t mean anything if there’s even one he can’t.

And then Rowoon finishes his undergraduate and moves out of their parents house. He goes to visit Nico and they have a long talk about what Rowoon wants to do with his career. He decided a long time ago that he wanted to follow in Nico’s footsteps and go in to medicine. And while he’s visiting, he sees that Nico’s background is still a photo of him and Levi, so Rowoon asks if that’s Nico’s boyfriend. And Nico is shocked because he didn’t know Rowoon knew. They have a heart to heart, and Nico realizes he doesn’t have to hide who he is anymore. Even if his parents aren’t happy with him, he has his little brother’s love and support, which is all that’s ever really mattered to him anyway. And even if he isn’t perfect, there are still people who will love him.

So he leaves his job and goes back to Grey-Sloan, mostly because he preferred it, but also with the hope that he and Levi can at least be friends again. He wins Levi back, and finally introduces him to Rowoon. And to show Levi he really has changed, that he really is committed to their relationship, he invites Levi to his parent’s for Christmas dinner. It goes over horribly, his dad almost kicks them out and only relents to letting them stay when his mother says they can at least finish dinner, as it’s the holidays. It’s worth it to see the look of horror on Siwon’s face when he says Levi is his boyfriend, and the look of admiration Rowoon gives him when he holds Levi’s hand as they say goodbye.

I think Nico coming back this next season will be him saying I was just trying to give you space, but I always loved you and I will always be here for you when you’re ready. It’s kind of a repeat of the last time they got back together, but I’m hoping it’ll stick this time and they can have their happy ending. If nothing else, I just want them to keep his personality somewhat consistent.

I’ll finish with my Kai vs Nico thing that started it all! We never learn where he went to school, or how old he is. We can guess he’s early 30’s when he’s first introduced (I’m assuming he was on track with the norm, so when he’s introduced, he’s in his fellowship and he’d be 30-31). What we know about Kai (thanks to my best friend who has an incredible memory) is they went to John Hopkins a few years after Amelia. E.R. is only a year older then Alex, which I’m taking to mean their characters are a year apart as well. So we’ll say Nico is 31 when he’s introduced, meaning Kai would be 32.

While they wouldn’t have much overlap if Nico went to med school at John Hopkins while Kai was going for their phd, they could have very well done their undergrad at the same university and that’s where I think the rivalry would have started.

Kai is smart as hell, and I have no doubt they would be top of their classes. I think depending on the class it would go back and forth, but I really do think Kai would be beat Nico more often and he would hate that. It’s a healthy rivalry, there’s no actual animosity. I see them both as fun and sarcastic people, so I think they’d have amazing banter. And someone like Kai being smarter then Nico wouldn’t bother him as much, because they just have this aura that makes them impossible to hate? Even thou Nico is really frustrated that someone scored higher on a test, he wouldn’t really be too hard on himself if it’s Kai that beat him.

Because I can see him being really upset with himself the first time it happens, and he swears it will never happen again. So he pushes himself even harder for the next test and he does beat Kai. And then Kai would give the most relaxed non-reaction, would probably even congratulate him, and Nico wouldn’t know how to process that. He’s be so used to Siwon taking any loss so poorly, that someone being almost happy for him beating them is too foreign for him to comprehend. It would be the first step to Nico relaxing a little bit on his perfect persona, and allowing himself to slip. Which sets him up for when we meet him in the show, he’s a lot more chill and easy going, but still guarded.

This is so long omg, I’ll start to wrap it up!

Flash forward to Nico and Levi dating, and Kai and Amelia dating (no they never broke up in my head, they’re happy and will be for the rest of their lives, it’s fine. But even if they did, they found their way back to each other like Nico and Levi). Every time Kai comes to visit Amelia, they bicker with Nico. And no one knows it’s light hearted except the two of them. It would stress Levi out, thinking Nico was fighting with his mentor’s partner. I like the idea of Levi going in to general surgery, so while Amelia isn’t wouldn’t be the head of his department, she will always be a mentor figure to him and someone he respects.

Flash forward again, Rowoon does follow in Nico’s footsteps and comes to Grey-Sloan for his internship. He starts off thinking he’ll go in to ortho like his brother but quickly finds he gravitates more towards neuro. And then Kai comes to work on a project with Amelia, and they pick Rowoon to help them out. And he loves the research aspect of their project. He starts looking into it more and more. And ultimately decides, with the help of Kai, to switch into neuroscience rather then complete his surgical internship.

Nico is of course devastated that his little brother chose to work with Kai over him. But he’s a good older brother and supports everything Rowoon does, even if it means listening to him talk about how amazing Kai and the research they’re doing is for hours.

I've already reblogged this gif set by @kinnsporsche, but it crossed my dash again this morning and suddenly I had all the feels about Henry and Oscar's relationship and the tag at the bottom of the set:

Because I'm going to die in my feels today about Henry and this father figure and the dad that he misses.

In the movie he talks about how that was the day he had his heart broken. In the book Bea has this amazing speech about the hurt and the pain Arthur's death has marked on Henry and how he will always carry this (to which Alex responds 'still gonna love him on purpose', romantic little shit he is).

We know how close Henry and Arthur were: the trips he took his son on, the moments they shared, and the line of advice we had in the bonus chapter. Not hard to believe that this was because Phillip was the heir, and Henry is the spare, and this commoner from Sheffield, an actor who married a princess, wanted to make sure that Henry knew he mattered too. That he was more than the place he had been born into.

Because isn't that Arthur's story too? The "commoner from Sheffield" who married the heir to the throne and would have been Prince of the entire country had he not died before Catherine would come to the throne? That's literally the stuff of (Disney) fairytales: the heir falls in love and marries that person, because the person matters more than status or history or bloodlines.

This one. I love them. I'm spending my life with them.

Henry may be the spare, but that's the life he lives. This one. I love Alex. I'm spending my life with him.

And we can't ignore the impact his father would have had on that. Imagined what he would have said about his son falling in love with Alex. How he would have absolutely been all for Henry making that choice - not that love is much of a choice - and we know how much Henry missed Arthur when it all came out.

Henry, the spare, was so close to his father that Arthur's death catapulted him into this existence where there was a permanent mark on his soul, his drive to support the cancer ward, his broken heart and that legacy. Henry, the son, so close with his father who was the living legacy of love changing your entire narrative, maintaining a Royal image be damned. Philip is the son of the crown: Henry is the son of love.

And in the movie we got to see him interact with his boyfriend's father, the future father-in-law, and idk there's something about Henry enjoying the banter with Oscar in the movie and realising that he would love it because he doesn't get to have that with his own father.

(I'll be over here, headcannoning that Oscar makes an effort with Henry for this very reason.)

My headcannons for paolc in college is that Derek definitely keeps playing football and jj keeps dancing. Rossi is one of those students where everything came easy to him in high school, so college is a punch in the gut. The real question is - what are they majoring in? We know James is pre med, Alex is linguistics, hotch is law and spencer is majoring in all the stuff he did in the show. I guess Garcia would probably do computer science. Rossi probably does criminology. I'm not sure about Emily, Derek or jj though.

I feel like Penelope ends up as a double major in computer science and musical theatre. 😂

Dave starts off in prelaw but is taking every creative writing class he can stuff into his schedule, much to the despair of his parents.

I can see JJ throwing herself headlong back into dance and going into a company for at least a while, but then eventually becoming a physical therapist for dancers. She would want to be in a career where she helps people.

Derek might be the only one who still goes to the FBI. Or maybe in this universe he doesn’t get the career ending injury and goes pro!! I can see that happening.

Emily eventually finds herself in a career where she travels a lot- I’m not sure what field, but she travels constantly. She takes a gap year but she may end up in California with Alex and everybody so she can go to college there.

whats next for tarlos besides the gabriel of it? them working together. the get trapped somewhere potentially dangerous and they work together to protect one another and get out of that issue bc they make a pretty good team.

The NYPD gala was coming up soon, and Olivia desperately wanted Alex to be her date, given that she had a massive crush on her.

She ended up asking her and Alex accepted.

The day before the gala, Alex had asked Olivia if she wanted to help her look for dresses, and of course, she did.

Olivia found that Alex looked beautiful in all the dresses she tried on, it was hard to choose.

At the end of the day, she decided on a deep red dress.

On the day of the gala, Alex was over at Olivia’s place to get ready.

They had a lot of fun putting on each other’s foundations and dusting their cheeks with blush.

Then out of the blue, Alex asks Olivia a very pressing question.

“Hey, is there any real reason why you asked me to come to this gala with you?”

“I- uh, well... I like you. A lot, actually.” Olivia admitted.

“Well I wish you told me that earlier Olivia!”

Olivia looked shocked. “What?”

A smile curled up on Alex’s face. “I like you too! A lot.”

“Wait really?”

“Yes!”

At this moment, both of the ladies realized that they were in love with each other and have been for a such a long time.

“Can I kiss you?” Olivia asked sheepishly.

“Of course you can.”

Olivia leaned in and kissed Alex, hesitantly at first because she was nervous, but more comfortably when Alex had her hands on her cheek.

V-card anon: hi sorry about that first ask i kinda went into a fugue state (spelling?) altered state of reality maybe when i wrote that and damn near outlined a fic in your inbox

The way we played hot seat was either part of a larger drinking game when a certain card was pulled from a deck, or just on it's own. You sit in a circle, everyone has a drink, usually a beer or cider. In the card pull version, the one who pulls the card gets asked a question by every person playing and if they refuse to answer they drink from their drink. In the standalone, you do that but everyone gets a turn being asked until people get bored and leave. Fun way to find out shit about people. Usually the unwritten rule is that you can't lie. I imagine everyone sitting on shitty chouches and chairs in a semi circle around a table full of cups and bottles playing it

Questions i have been asked: are you a top or bottom? Do you like anal? Wheres the weirdest place you've fucked? Body count? Favorite position (sexual)? Fuck marry kill/ignore people in this room (EVERY TIME I PLAYED I GOT THIS QUESTION)? Tits or ass or other? Favorite non sexual body part ex. Thigh? Ideal fuck buddy? Sex regrets? Etc

Also more weird details i have head cannoned out for some drivers and most likely does not fit with irl personalities, do with this what you will, use it or don't i just have feelings. Also everyone is like compressed in age to like 20-27ish except for some of the grid who i will just think of as younger alumns who come back:

Danny R: social chair, owns a jeep he takes the doors off of in the summer, walks girls home at night to make sure they're ok, tries to DJ house events and is rebuffed by literally everyone, has like 30 pairs of vans you trip over in his room, stolen roadsigns everywhere, masters in something arigcultural or physiological, cutoff frat shirts for days, fuckboy but nice, a bit cringe, will drive around with you at night so you can scream, met reader bc she had a band tee on and wanted to talk to her about it (no gatekeeping)

Charles: some kind of engineering or math degree but no one has any idea how the fuck he's gotten so far, 4.0 never studies, games with other house members, will show up at events randomly you will have no idea how he gets on your couch but he is there, the best and worst taste in clothes, is the only one allowed to play the piano in the house, sweet, cannot help you with studies but is always down for helping you out after, has to be reminded to clean stuff, disaster bi, reader met his gf first and they probably met through that

Pierre: good fashion and music taste, shirt is gone halfway through the night, also fuckboy but wholesome, actually studies, plays a sport for sure probably soccer in some way either club or Division he's too good for rec, will hold your hair back so you can throw up, will tell you your outfit sucks, good at math, also part of the squad that games, econ major, workout buddies with reader anday have taken a math class together

Max: is part of the hockey team he will go pro, also actually studies, got into gaming because of Charles, has the nicest car, is serious until he gets a couple drinks in him, he and Daniel are close and roomed together at some point, owns like 30 sets of the same outfit a white tee and jeans, knows reader through Dan and they get dragged by him to some of the same stuff

Lando: is a pledge or new member his big is Carlos, undeclared major, just happy to be here, gaming squad, used to play lacrosse or something equally obscure, king of knowing where the good snacks are, weirdly good at beer pong, growing into a fuckboy wholesomeness level tbd, probably sweet with reader as she helped him through a blackout or something, met her because she's basically house mom for some of the new boys (the kind of mom who will teach you to do laundry or iron ONCE)

Carlos: hockey flow but does not play hockey, actually studies and is smarter than what people give him credit for, came from a private high school and uni really opened his horizons, also good study buddy, gets along with most people, goes to office hours the most out of the actually studies gang, fun at parties, owns the frat dogs, he and reader met at Office hours (they were the only students) and found they had mutual friends too

Lewis: is/was president of frat, great grades greater bod, did full evolution from fuckboy to good man, has the back tests and the moral support, up for late noght talks about life, definitely was a D1 athlete, best fashion game, implemented no hazing policy, fits into notable alum or PhD category

Mick: undergrad like Lando, also plays soccer or something, too sweet, also walks girls home/holds your hair back etc, cleans parts of the house that aren't his responsibility, higher alcohol tolerance than you expect, everyone is bizarrely protective of him, legacy member (his dad was a legend), drives a motorbike around campus and can't decide between law and psychology, actually studies, met reader through the frat and she would die for him, brings her to class on the bike sometimes because the bike is faster

George: business major, frat treasurer, three ring binder business casual in class kind of guy, nice enough, shirt comes off when drunk, runs marathons and a podcast about investments, best notes in the game and great study partner, actually studies, is drinking monster at 6AM but not because he stayed up late, he and reader met through the frat and sometimes drink wine and bitch together

Lance: hockey player, legacy member, studies sometimes, sarcasm on point, great at stack cup, very chill, knows every good nap spot on campus, also has high alcohol tolerance, is the kind of person who does well in the cold but does not like it, wears headphones so people don't talk to him, great one on one but not in crowds, business major and minor in computer science, probably also met thru Lance's gf but vibe as more introverted people and will cover for each other if one does not want to go out

Nicky: a good boy, part of the walks people home squad, sets up designated drivers for parties, good snack game, future in medical field, good listener, pretty good study buddy, midnight snack enabler, met reader through frat and his gf he and reader are on babysitting duty together sometimes when others get too drunk/high

Yuki: also a pledge or new, majoring in games or computer science as they gave me the same energy as him, games squad, bit of a mad lad, has several stolen street signs, good, met reader through frat and Yuki is the only one patient enough to explain some games to reader, they cuss people out on mic

Esteban: good man, has a full ride scholarship, actually studies, also good study buddy, Dan's little, plays soccer but maybe on a rec team because he prioritizes school, very sweet guy as well, probably chose a really practical major/dual major, met reader through Dan and are also dragged similar places by him

Antonio: manbun, philosophy or classics major possibly business dual, generally good natured but can be seen supplying his own wine at parties, used to be really into metal but kept the hair, does not know that people find him attractive, soccer boi, met reader through frat and she's the only one who will (pretend) to listen to him rant about philosophy

Alex Albon: another full scholarship guy, somehow gets along with everyone, switched majors due to an asshole professor, electrical engineering or computer engineering, actually studies, helps with frat pets,will show you pictures of his cats at home, sweetie, another contender for will hold your hair or walk you home, probably met reader through a class or club and found they had mutual friends and that reader is friends with his gf

i’m writing a series - each “chapter” will be a smut with a different frat bro and i’m hoping to post a sneak peek this week some time but here’s something to hold you over and give you some ideas

Soooo can someone please write me a Ray has helper ghost fic bc I have so many headcannons.

-Reggie had the kind of home life where he learned how to take care of himself quickly, cooking and cleaning, laundry and the occasional post-argument smashed something-or-other

-Reggie spending his free time with Ray during the day, watching this kind hearted man be the dad he always wanted. But he sees Ray sighing after Carlos and Julie leave the room, looking around overwhelmed at the things piling up. Of course Ray has his sister-in-law, but he already troubles her so much

-Ray starts noticing little things around the house, like the dishes keep getting done and neither child has used it for brownie points. Like the load of towels he thought he left in the washer overnight, he found dried and folded in a basket. He thanks Julie but asked why she’s up so late, but she doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Late one night he’s eating some cold spaghetti straight out of the fridge bc he’s an adult and he’s tired and he spills on the floor. When he goes to wipe it up, he realizes how gross he’s let the kitchen floor get, before getting up knees popping, saying “that’s a problem for tomorrow.” But then tomorrow morning he’s wandering into the kitchen for his coffee and the floors are just spotless?

-Sometimes when Ray’s cooking, he notices the stove dials keep shifting, not being on high like he left them. His toast has stopped burning and Victoria even has been complementing his growth in the kitchen with spices and such, but he hasn’t done anything different?

-Luke and Alex of course notice what Reggie is doing, and while thinking it weird, do see how the Molina family has been generally less stressed since he started. Alex decides to help by rearranging Rays closet, hiding his truly atrocious shirts way in the back and bringing forward the better looks. He also has decided to take on Rays office as his personal project, slowly reorganizing the massive amounts of stuff the man has accumulated just in the last year since Rose stopped helping him. (It’s not that Rays an incapable man, he’s just got a lot on his plate as a photographer, dad, bother-in-law, assistant coach to Carlos’ baseball team, Julie’s personal bouncer and hype man for her smaller venue shows)

-Luke is the one who keeps remembering trash day. Ray thinks really needs to send his neighbor a gift basket or something to thank them for dealing with his cans. Luke may also be the one “butt-dialing” that really nice woman he saw Ray meet at the store when he followed Reggie following Ray (the afterlife is boring okay, and it’s fun to sneak stuff into the cart, even if Reggie insists on healthy crap) but he did run that one by Julie bc it’s her dad (She and Carlos are open to him dating again if he wants and they see how he smiles every time the woman returns “his call”)

-And Ray just accepts that whatever this house elf/cleaning fairy/magic was, it was way too helpful to mean him any harm, so maybe he should just leave it a thank you note? Could the woodland creatures who helped Disney princesses read? Has he lost it?

-and maybe a little tiny part of Ray wishes it to be Rose, helping him and their kids from wherever she is

-so yeah he’s a little disappointed when it turns out to be Julie’s apparent ghost band, but he squishes that bc he’s too thankful to he angry he’s been so thoroughly invaded. He just sees lost kids wanting a home and trying to earn it, but they don’t have to he loves them already

Here is my headcannon for how the show ends: Kara leaves and goes to the future with Mon El (because she is not a Winchester and there's no law saying she has to spend the rest of her life in the same city or time as Alex). Poor Hotch, all I do is make him sad...

Okay so we all know that Hotch's dad abused him. I think the tension we see between Hotch and Haley in the first couple seasons, about Hotch not being there for Jack, was 100% about Hotch's fear he was going to end up like his father. He subconsciously (or maybe consciously) distances himself from Jack at first because he's terrified of hurting this small fragile thing that they made, terrified of traumatizing Jack like his father did to him.

In revelations when Hotch asks the whole team to tell him his worst traits, he acts like he doesn't care, but I think their words stay with him for years. He repeats them in his head whenever he screws up, like a mantra to do better.

Hotch has long lasting damage to his ear after the explosion in Season 4. He didn't properly take care of it, or rest at all, so he definitely had some long lasting issues. Being deaf in one ear absolutely terrifies Hotch, when he was a kid he relied on his hearing to sense when his Dad was angry, and protect Sean. The first time someone effectively startles Hotch and comes up behind him without him noticing, it sends Hotch into a full blown panic attack.

Okay I'll do happy headcannons related to the sad ones above, because hurt + comfort amirite

I think Haley and Hotch have similar dynamics to Penelope and Derek. When Derek says goodbye, Penelope says "You make me feel brave," and he responds, "You make me feel safe".

Hotch fell in love with Haley because she made him feel safe, even back in high school she would tenderly clean him up after a fight with his father. She was the first person he felt safe with. He and Haley eventually sit down and talk, Hotch confesses how scared he is of messing Jack up and Haley assures him that she knows he's a good father because he worries so much about messing up, "you worry because you care, silly".

After Mayhem, eventually the team figures out about Hotch's long term hearing loss, and do their best to help him out without making a big deal of it. Right after, JJ and Penelope will always leave him Advil on his desk after a case which they know has his ears ringing. In the field everyone always cover him on the side he has bad hearing. They all make sure to approach him so he can see them, or on his good hearing side so he can hear them. Spencer learns sign language and teaches it to Hotch. Hotch then teaches it to Jack, which catches on to Will and Henry as well, JJ learns for her kids, and eventually almost everyone on the team knows ASL.

1. Elle Greenaway, I'm in love with her, and I feel like she was the only one they really showed having accurate trauma to the things they went through. I do have a problem with the glorification of her shooting the rapist, though. Obviously yes I don't really feel bad about her shooting a rapist, he's a rapist. But I'm not okay with it because of the power she held being a member of law enforcement, and how she abused that power and was allowed to quit without an investigation. Police brutality is never okay, even when it hurts the people we want to be hurt.

2. Kate Callahan, I loved her so much, she was such a badass and I loved her friendship with Morgan. She was an amazing mom, and I loved her goodbye hug to Hotch, he looks so touch starved smh

3. Alex Blake, she is so incredibly talented amazing, showstopping, intelligent. She's been through so much, and managed to keep a straight head, and even mentor Reid.

4. Stephen Walker, he deserved so much better I can't believe the writers did him like that.

I relate to JJ because I also lost someone close to me to suicide, and I think they handled that issue for her character really well. The guilt, the resurfacing memories of what things were up leading up to it, the realizations of all the things happening in their life you didn't know about.

I love thunder storms, with super loud rain and wind and rumbling thunder. It's the most soothing weather to me and it puts me right to sleep. When I was younger my little brother was scared of thunder so he'd crawl into my bed and we'd stay up together so it brings me good memories. I also highly recommend lying on your back looking up at the sky during a thunder storm. It is so emotionally cathartic and a main character moment.

my ideas of past Marko

unlike my post with david there is not another role by Alex that is creepily similar to my idea of him alive however Poli from the haunted summer allowed me to see him in a more period fashion. I think there would be the possibility for them to be similar, if Marko had been brought up in a rich home and his anger replaced with sorrow. I will be using images of him, as my idea of looks (aka period clothing, however marko wouldn't have clothes nearly as nice- but the lower layers are near always the same no matter the class).

My idea of him/Headcannons- 

His pants would be patched, his money is spent more on food and the ocasional room for the night then it is getting a new pair of pants or fixing his suspenders. His hair is shorter , its not nearly as long as it is as a vampire, as he always kept it down around his shouders, a bit past. Dirty but not as much as you’d think 

He was this sort of naivety to him, what can almost be ignorance, he clings to David so hard because he seams to have a sense of how the world works. How to get by, whats good and what's bad, Marko would just take from a baby if he could, if David didn't outright tell him how wrong it is. He’s rough because he has to be he HAS to be. There is this anger to him stemming from a million different things at once, no one takes him god damn seriously. He has this cute innocent look to him this childs face that could do no wrong, have no dirty thought or sign of intelegence, everyone automatically babies him and he is SICK of it. Yet it is of use, if you can make a sweet face, work up tears it can do wonders.

love isnt something he takes nearly as seriously as david, he’d tease him for it as everyday it seamed to be some new gal..... or guy. He didnt take ‘love’ seriously as you could find it on the street corner, in nearly every other building and yet... here he is. wavelength, looks whatever it is, hell have a fling and become attached... then get freaked at the idea of that means marriage, tied down all these things. Somehow, he had a thing going on with paul that ended up a 80+ year strong relationship. 

he is needy almost obsessive for attention, friends, lovers , the law.. he just needs attention someone to look at him, be by him. he is like a candle he will literally burn your house down if ignored for to long. his liking for pigeons and birds stemmed from this, as they pay attention when others wont. This issue stems from a absent extremely wealthy mother he has no practical memory of.

He and David had known each other longest, he is the boss and the voice of reason. he is loyal, greatly loyal to the point of obedience(not without ignoring himself as he WILL tell David off if he needs to) he kind of... really looks up David, his smarts , his charisma and looks and morals that he struggles to maintain himself. His admiration for the other blends into ....attraction as well which had been taken advantage of in the past.

Alexander Mercer Headcannons:

From a wealthy (old money), religious family

Is the oldest of many siblings (at least 4, maybe more).

This is random and I can’t explain it, but it’s a rule in his house that you take off your shoes at the door. Don’t ask me why, my brain is a mystery to us all.

His parents don’t mind when Reggie comes over, because he is really polite (even though they don’t love his outfit choices). Bobby is on thin ice because he is not as openly friendly, but at least he is quiet and polite. Luke, however, is a whole different story. Not only is he loud and usually somehow covered in mud that he tracks into the house, but he also gets Alex’s younger siblings all riled up every time he comes over and it takes forever to calm them down afterwards.

His dad works high up in some kind of big company. Maybe a law firm or insurance?

His mom is a housewife and focuses on taking care of the kids. Big in like pta and church groups etc.

His parents didn’t kick him out when he came out to them; instead, they dismissed the idea of him being gay completely and things were just awkward all the time after that. He spent a lot of time in the studio after that, but never ran away because he didn’t want to leave his siblings.

He’s only out to one of his siblings (although they told the others after he died. They were all accepting) and he came out to them on accident but the sibling was young and couldn’t care less about Alex’s sexuality.

Alex came out to his parents partially because he didn’t want his sibling to have to lie for him.

His parents didn’t hate him, and they definitely would have had a nice funeral for him. They didn’t accept him but they loved the son they wanted, and pretended to have.

Plus, they were big on appearances.

The funeral was huge and held at his church, with the entire congregation in attendance as well as many of Alex’s classmates and teachers (he was well-liked by the staff). Alex would have hated it though. He doesn’t like fake things, and most of the people in attendance barely even knew him.

Alex is thought of as the emotional one, but he is actually much more in control of his feelings than the others. He is willing to express himself when needed, rather than bottling everything up until it explodes (I’m looking at you, Luke).

He and Reggie don’t seem as close to the untrained eye, but in reality they rely on each other. Reggie always goes to Alex when Luke gets angry and frightens him (this doesn’t happen that often, Luke is just passionate and loud sometimes).

Alex is responsible for the group’s brain cell, and his overthinking combined with Luke’s under thinking usually leads to pretty solid plans.

He makes straight As, but only because his parents require it. He struggles the most academically, and the thing he finds most frustrating about Luke is how easy school comes to him. Unfortunately, Luke is one of those smart people who isn’t very helpful because everything just clicks in his brain naturally which he can’t explain to anyone else.

Dated Luke in the 90s. Obviously. I kinda forget this one isn’t technically cannon, honestly. More on their relationship in the Luke section.
