I'm still waiting for Allagans to show up in Tural, by the way. I mean, this is the group that can send stuff into space, and you're telling me that they never bothered to go to the other side of the planet? I'm not saying a full on city, but they never sent a research expedition?

In this chapter Declynn explores his new home, meets a helpful node, and learns about Eikons
Please enjoy!
From Sorrows Hold Chapter 2
(Preview)
“You aren’t going to become an Ascian, like he wants, right?”
Amon whirls around from his desk, “What does it matter to you if I do or don’t?”
He clenches his fists, “Cause I’ve made it my mission to destroy all ascians. Especially Emet-Selch!”
Amon full on laughs, loud and boisterous, slapping his knee, clapping his hands. “That was just the entertainment I needed after that. Thank you, boy.”

"And they were found like this, you say?"
"Well, not exactly, but near enough. Have Braya show you the sketches."
During NOAH's excursions into the Crystal Tower two bodies were discovered in a control chamber on one of the upper floors. The Sons of Saint Coinach recorded the find and removed the remains for further study. Though their identities are a mystery, they are thought to have died before or perhaps during the Fourth Umbral Calamity.
The exact cause of death too is unknown. Although a peculiar red crystal recovered with the bones may contain clues- if any can decipher them. The only person to handle it closely nearly collapsed, later reporting being overcome by a sense of terrible anguish.

Helping Zenos turn Varis's corpse into Anima isn't even the worst thing Fandaniel did. He purposefully mislead Scylla in aiding him to seek immortality by aiding in transforming her. He then took one of her greatest fears and shoved twenty heads of it in place of her own. And succeeded in granting her immortality so she could never be released from her suffering. Like, what the fuck did she do to you Amon? Eat your lunch, you fucking nerd? Pretty sure seeking the resurrection of Xande was the first step in the passive aggressive Hermes fragment becoming full on jester of warcrimes with a petty jerkass streak Fandaniel later down the line.

About Koh Rabntah/Noah and Eureka Orthos
Koh/Noah is a side NPC that used to launch a trio of weekly quests for the Crystal Tower (back when it was relevant). She's also a character that I brought into the Spot of Mummery storyline during the very first story arc.
I've developed them as friends to Amon, and Koh is a part of our FC (as my own alt character). Over time, I gave her a make-over because... well... look at the glams she's stuck with as an NPC...
And look at her now!
One story line I've always wanted to write, but haven't yet, is a follow up to Amon's promise - that he would find a way to separate Noah's spirit from Koh's body in a way that Noah would have a life of her own to live (yes, Noah is a SHE). He's not followed through because, in part, he just doesn't have access to that kind of tech or a good cloned body to do the work.
Why talk about Koh/Noah?
The whole point of bringing this up, and on this weekend, is we know that Koh/Noah will be the NPC that introduces Eureka Orthos in patch 6.35. Her previous quests have been removed already, so that means from here on, Koh/Noah will be introduced only with the new Eureka storyline.
This got me to thinking. The whole Koh/Noah predicament (how they're sharing one body) has never been addressed. Often, S/E will return to side NPCs to review their stories and improve their lives. Koh/Noah have been around for 9-something years, but they have been left without resolution.
So what if this is an opportunity to address this? What if part of the storyline for us to go into these labs is to help find a way to give Koh and Noah their own lives by separating them.
We've seen Noah portrayed in game as one of the "good Allagans" - she voices her dislike of Allagans meddling with Eorzean life. We know that she was the teacher of Unei and Doga (also good Allagans).
An enchanted lute she created (that was enchanted for good purposes) was involved in a Crystalline Mean crafting quest line. Other than her being somewhat a wild child (based on her description in the lore book), Noah seems to be someone who deserves a second chance. And Koh deserves to get her life back.
(Above: My version of Noah and Koh.)
So what do you think? Will they have a bigger part to play in the Eureka Orthos story than just the quest giver? I'm going to have to change my character sheet yet again if so!
