The Ghoul talking about honest exchanges and in the flashbacks all we see is Cooper having dishonest exchanges. Be it with his wife, lying to his daughter about someone’s comments regarding alimony.

Not only is she a reflection of him when he was good and kind, she is morally strong enough to question the status quo as he was back then.

I think he’ll fall for Lucy because she is nothing but unfailingly honest and up front. She is his honest exchange.

Hello! If you don't mind answering, what are your thoughts on Rogue only mentioning Gambit during E.7 ? It felt weird after all these episodes and exploration of their relationship.

Well... I try not to put too much thought into it. Overall Bright Eyes felt like a moment of transition towards the finale (with an absolute kick-ass Rogue). I am happy they had an episode that showcased a part of what Rogue was going through after Genosha, because, as Amelia Vogh said - 'a survivor is the last thing I’d wanna be.’ So Rogue has a lot to process: the guilt and grief over losing Gambit, the uncertainty and anxiety around Magneto and well, the death of so many people around her. Remember what Magneto said? “We shall not live our days wondering if we could’ve saved more.” Rogue is doing just that - and it's hell.

About Rogue focusing just on Gambit - it makes sense. She held his body in her arms. That moment is with her probably every time she closes her eyes. The way I see it, there are two reasons why the focus has been only on expressing her feelings for Remy.

1. It might be just the way it is. Rogue and Gambit will always be 'the couple'. More so for TAS. They are one of the most well-known and popular Marvel couples so, after the drama was done, the writers needed to pull that ship back on course. It was always going to be like that and I'll be here for the ride. Not everything in media has to be written to match my preferences. Plus, the show has kept both of them in character and written them exceptionally well so far. Especially with Gambit, I am grateful for the care they put into portraying him, because in comics it's such a mess, depending on who's writing him. So I am expecting the focus to be on Rogue and Gambit from now on.

2. The other reasoning (from a media literacy perspective), and the one I prefer -  is that she's processing. It might turn out to be true or it might not - the show will tell us. But at this moment it does look like that. Grief, guilt, shock. First of all, in Magneto's case, there was no body. The rule is until the search is called off, if there is no body, there is no death confirmation. So Rogue is struggling to accept it. What she knows is that Remy is dead - that is a reality she cannot avoid and it consumes her. On the other hand she was refusing to face the possibility that Erik was also gone. Then Kurt made it real. In the privacy of that moment between them he said what she wasn't allowing herself to think or accept: that she lost more than one person she cared about. Secondly, also why it makes that moment with Kurt so much more heavy, is that no one else in the team knows of the emotional connection she has with Erik. Everyone who knew the depths (Gambit and, in parts, Madelyne) are dead. I don't think Rogue can voice her grief in front of the rest without an explanation. She can however channel it through Gambit’s loss. What is worse is that her feelings for Gambit are now intertwined with a lot of guilt, and she probably feels like she has failed him in particular. And it breaks my heart. I don’t think that’s fair towards her and I am not particularly a fan of that, but X-men has often times put drama ahead of character development. 

So is it the first one? Is it the second one? Who knows, maybe it’s a bit of column A, a bit of column B. But there is one thing that I would have liked the episode to show more of: I wanted to see Rogue processing what it meant for her to survive Genosha, to survive the genocide. I care more about that, about her humanity, her struggles and convictions, unrelated to the romantic aspects. Romance is not the ultimate form of love, and it doesn’t have to be the most intense display of love either.

I hope this doesn't come off ignorant because I don't know a lot about the community, but recently I've had experience with people who roleplay age regression. Until joining tumblr I had little to no experience with them and in fact, at times, I was...put off by the concept. That's out of my own ignorance in what it was, though. But after having met some people who are, and having roleplayed a bit. It was oddly nice to act like a parent. Maybe it's because I'm trans and probably won't have kids, or maybe it's because I never had...the most ideal parents, but I have enjoyed being a parental figure in roleplays.

All this Simon reading got me thinking about how instead of waiting for him to come home the role reversed and he’s now waiting for you to come home. Let’s say you went gonna work trip and had been gone a month away. He didn’t think much of it except that he ended up coming back 2 weeks earlier and now he’s here waiting for you. He goes to the airport to pick you up and it feels weird. He’s not used to being on this side of it. He’s pacing around, checking the times your plane lands, he’s fidgeting with his jacket.

By the time your plane lands, the fidgeting has gone from messing with his jacket to overthinking why he’s here in the first place. What possessed him to come pick you up? He’s surprising you.

But then, as soon as he sees you coming out of the gate, your eyes darting around to make a path towards your luggage, he calms down. He stands a little taller to make himself noticeable, and it works because your eyes dart straight to him. He’s so recognizable— leather jacket, mask over his face, gloved hands. Your smile creeps up over your face, and you can feel your face heat up and flood your face.

But seeing your smile and how there’s more of a pep in your step, you sort of jog to him the last final steps, then awkwardly stand there because you’re unsure of either hugging him or tackling him. Makes him blush underneath the mask and he’s now flustered, heart racing, and he bends down into your neck burying himself there, as you giggle about ‘why didn’t you tell me you were coming?!’ And he just mumbles ‘just thought I would surprise ya’

Just thoughts.

Kind-hearted Yuu!Reader getting so frustrated with the boys not taking care of themselves or causing trouble that they absorbed leftover overblot residue and overblotted themselves. But, instead of harming them, it just turns Yuu into a stronger, more aggressive caretaker with no sh*ts given.

In short, Overblot!Yuu being a hot angry SFW(?) service dom and the NRC boys are surprisingly into it.

and its a bit funny because you would think that he kind of wouldnt see.. the point? in something like marriage like he would think he loves you youre in an established relationship and thats enough. that theres no need for such a hassle just for a legal display of your entanglement.

but the reality is so much different from that… after a while in a relationship his gaze would linger longer and longer on the ring shops he passes by and he realizes like. oh. he would love to be able to be called your husband and bestow the counterpart endearment to you and once this thought is present in his mind theres no getting it out. he knows he is completely whipped for you and will be for however long the archons grant him to stay in this world.. so why not make your official relationship even more? that one last step wouldnt hurt anyone would it? Phee sticking round after Tech and Omega are gone. Season 2 it always seemed like they were the ones she was most interested in, and it would have been easy for her to cut ties with Hunter and Wrecker after Tech's death and Omega's kidnap. She had no real stakes in that game. But instead she stuck around, helped out, they still call on her when they need info and when they need someone they trust to help them with the both shady and dangerous things they are getting into in the name of keeping Omega safe.

Another thing about the labels. Sydney is caught on Carmy and what he labels claire; she says this is the most essential thing Carmy needs to decide on. But the conversation is truly reserved for herself, and for a moment, it doesn't matter if they fail or pass the suppression test or the chaos menu; he needs to define the girl who's taking away time from their relationship.

From what Sydney says, girlfriends—a companion, a girl Carmy is close to—should be the one who looks at such a private thing as the menu; it's Carmy's creations, a girl who's part of that process should be a companion. Claire, the friend, sees a part of Carmy reserved for Sydney. Clare sees his vulnerabilities and fears. She's seeing and hearing about his complicated past. He's opening up to someone else, not Sydney, which poses a conflict that Sydney demands to be solved instantly.

We believe that Carmy initially passed the suppression test by correctly identifying Claire as his girlfriend, but the following episode shows that he made the wrong decision in choosing her as his partner.

I wonder if Sydney is aware of how Carmy feels about her. I believe she understands that when he speaks to her, there is a deeper meaning behind his words. For season 3, she deserves clarity in their relationship.

Maybe I’m reaching here but rewatching the scene where Miles escapes the trap by blowing it up, I noticed something…

Anyone that Miles knows or has an affinity for are not thrown back like the other spidermen

Peter, Hobie and Gwen are all still balanced on their feet like the blow didn’t have as big an impact on them. It’s like subconsciously his powers will not harm them. Could be a thing right? maybe?
