Time for a little angst. Noise's Au was destroyed a while back so he and Solaris tend to wander about without sticking to one place for too long. But since his Au was destroyed...It means his brother Allegro is gone. Most of the time he's able to keep up the appearance of being fine with that, especially since he tends to be the one to help others out when they're feeling down...but every once and a while when he meets a Papyrus...he sees Allegro for a few moments and winds up cracking just a bit. It particularly happens when the Papyrus of the au looks or acts pretty close to how his own brother did. Here he's meeting Soda for the first time and wasn't quite prepared.

Okay! I'm really excited to introduce you to...

Manatale!

Mana is basically magic in this Au. Everyone has nature based magic.

After the First Monster-Human War, Monsters weren't forced Underground. Instead they were trapped behind a barrier surrounding the forest in the shadow of Mt. Ebott. After their banishment, Mana that once freely flowed through the Earth, disappeared. Once Mana had disappeared Mages began to die out, fading from history alone with the Monsters.

After Monsters are freed, Mana once again flows freely through the Earth. Because of this Mana, Mages began to make a reappearance, their dormant magic building in their SOULs.

However... The sudden influx of magic was to great for the Earth to take and it spawed a massive magical storm that ravaged the Earth.

It stopped raining. Lakes and rivers began to dry. Crops were nearly impossible to grow. Humans blamed the Monsters and Mages for the catastrophe and declared war.

This is where our story begins...

Frisk (Nico) and Chara (Ari): Chara (Ari 14) is the older, more daring, outgoing, mischievous sibling. While Frisk (Nico 13) is the younger, shyer, more level headed (but no less mischievous) sibling. The pair of them are very adventurous and have explored many places, despite their young ages. They heard stories of the mystical forest all their lives, and after the deaths of their aunts, they set out to explore the one place they were forbidden to set foot in. They stumbled through the dense ever forbidding forest before Toriel finds them and leads them to safety. The "game" starts when they enter the forest. Ari, Nico, and Miach are taken in by the Royal Family after they freed Monsterkind from their eternal prison. They are now 19 and 18 respective

Kris (Micah): Ari and Nico's older sibling. Kris (Miach 18) always seems to get dragged into their misadventures. Stoic, quiet, somewhat detached, they can be hard to relate to when you first meet them. Once you get to know them though, they are more prone to show their mischievous side (They're also a huge freaking dork). They love their siblings very much. They're not very keen on physical touch most of the time. They are now 23

Sans (Ike) this quick-witted skeleton is a jokester at heart and always has a joke or a pun at the ready. Despite his playful personality, he knows when it's time to be serious. He's always ready with a metaphorical ear when one of his friends has troubles and is always ready with a smile and a joke to cheer them up. He is much hardier than UT!Sans and he has more endurance.

Papyrus (Arlo): Second command of the Guard and keeper of the puzzles. Arlo is driven, bright, and takes his job very seriously. Like his brother, though, he's always ready with an open arms and a shoulder if he notices someone is having a rough time. His main mission in life is to be kind and protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Gaster (Rune): Not much is known about the mysterious adviser and Royal Scientist to the Royal Family. He is quiet and methodical and, at times cold, but behind the aloof mask, every so often, you can catch glimpses of a caring father and devoted friend. He, along with a team of other brilliant scientists, erected a barrier to protect Monterkind from attacks by the S.T.E.M faction.

Undye(Moxie): After being blinded in both eyes during the second Monster-Human War she took Papyrus in as the second in command, hoping he could take her place as head of the guard one day. Although still headstrong and a bit reckless, she has become more grounded and even tempered after losing her sight.

Alphys(Lumin): While she's still shy as a mouse, she's much more outgoing than her UT! counterpart. Modest to a fault she's not one to brag about her various accomplishments. It takes a while to get her out of her shell but once she starts to trust you, you have a true and loyal friend for life.

Toriel(Florian): The Queen of Monsterkind and Wife of Ragnar. She runs a shelter for orphaned monster and mage children. Can cause all flora life around her to flourish with her magic. She's always willing to lend a paw to those in need, no matter what species. She has always been soft at heart and serious. She will not hesitate to fight for those she cares about. She can be cold to those that don't see eye to eye with her.

Asgore(Ragnar): The King of Monsters and Husband of Florian. He is a kind and fair ruler and father. After the Second Monster-Human War and the creation of the S.T.E.M organization his heart has hardened slightly toward humanity.

Asriel(Lucan): The price of monsters is a kind, gentle SOUL like his father. This teen has devoted his life to helping and protecting his people.

Mettaton(Allegro): he guards the Royal Lab (despite hating it).When he's not there he can be found at the Queen's orphanage, entertaining the children or performing on one of the many stages that call his name.

Monster Kid (Finn): Nico, Ari's and Lucan's best friend. The four of them have been inseparable since childhood. He's energetic, clumsy, and a bit reckless, but his heart is in the right place.

Reader: guarded and rough around the edges from years on the run. They feel it is them against the world and they don't make friends easily. Underneath that tough exterior though… they're understanding and compassionate. They just want to stay safe.

Bellagio, is one of the first-class hotel casinos that you should not miss when going to Las Vegas. Operated by the MGM Mirage, Bellagio features 3982 rooms and suites. In addition to its casinos, this gigantic megaresort also features a theater, the O Theater, some lounges and bars such as the Fontana Bar, Allegro Bars and the Nectar Bar.

It also boastsgreat dining venues such as the Picasso, Prime Steakhouse, Le Cirque, Sensi, Osteria del Circo and MICHAEL MINA and six outdoor pools and a spa. One of the main attractions of the Bellagio is its Fountains, an eight acre lake that provides stunning views at night. There is also the Conservatory and the Botanical Gardens as well as the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture.

Buffalo Bill’s, which is located in the Primm Valley, is 30 minutes away from the Interstate. This hotel-casino has 1,242 rooms including the suites that are used for wedding packages. Some rooms even have wet bars and Jacuzzi tubs. Among the dining sites that Bufallo Bill’s offers are the Baja Bar & Grill, Wagon Master Coffee Shop, La Salsa Mexican Grille, Miss Ashley's Buffet, and Frisella's Roastery.

The hotel casino also has a huge entertainment venue called the Star of the Desert Arena, which has 6000 seats. This is where concerts and other shows are held. In addition to this, Bufallo Bill’s also has a movie theater and comedy bar, where tourists can relax and wile the night away. One of the main attractions that this hotel-casino provides is the Desperado rollercoaster as well as the Turbo Drop Thrill ride.

Circus Circus sits in South Las Vegas. This is the first themed resort in the city, which is operated by the Mandalay Resort Group. It has 3770 rooms, some of which have video check-out counters. Dining venues in the hotel include the The Steak House, Stivali Italian Ristorante, Blue Iguana Las Vegas, and The Pink Pony. Part of the attraction in Circus Circus is the AdventureDome indoor theme park and the circus shows in the Big Top.

Another big thing in Las Vegas is the Excalibur hotel which is also nestled in the South. Another project of the Mandalay Resort Group, Excalibur has 4008 rooms all in all. Because of its King Arthur time theme, restaurants in Excalibur are named after places and people in King Arthur’s court such as the The Steakhouse at Camelot, The Camelot, Sir Galahad's Prime Rib House, and the Round Table Buffet. There are also frequent dinner shows and comedy acts in their comedy bars. In keeping with their theme, the casinos are transformed into a Renaissance Faire complete with jugglers, magicians and troubadours.

The Luxor is actually named after a place in Egypt, which is an tourist destination. Its building is topped with the brightest beams of light in the whole of Las Vegas. In fact, it can actually be seen when you are riding the space shuttle. It has 4408 rooms, which are divided into the Pyramid and in towers. Like the Excalibur, the names of the restaurants in the Luxor also have Egyptian flavors to them. Among the restaurants that you should try when visiting there are the Sacred Sea Room, Papyrus, Nile Deli, Hamada's, and of course the Isis.

Meet Allegro!!  Hp: 5    Df: 1 Theres quite a lot that Sans and Papyrus dont quite know about Allegro, as they didn’t’ know her name (which Papyrus named her) and they weren’t sure where she even came from. Sans knew she wasn’t a fallen human from the note that was left with her, but not much else was said. only to “Keep her safe” She was left on their doorstep on the day before Gyftmas. Her soul was extremely small and fragile, she couldn’t really speak either so communication wasn’t the easiest. Yet it didn’t change the fact that even she didn’t know how she got there, the only thing she can remember seeing was a flipphone. That was pretty much it.  Sans at first didn’t trust the human, but on Gyftmas day Allegro had met Papyrus, Sans would try to say that she was a Cat monster and sure...Pap would go along with it and believe him in the beginning, but Pap easily caught on with no problem at all.  okay i am too tired, i’ll finish writing later.

Taffy

This is Taffy! A nickname given to him by the spunky little baker of Starshine Cafe! He is Papyrus Serif, a royal guard to be that refuses to give up on his dreams.  He will join the royal guard! He even tries to get his brother to join, But Sans is much too laid back for the hustle and bustle of guard life. He used to live in Snowden with his brother, but now hes looking for a home. The brothers are staying with Allegro(who they've nicknamed Vanilla due to the scent shes always surrounded by) but they dont want to impede on her forever. He's just as sassy as Vanilla, but Taffy is a sweetheart in general. He wears a coat instead of his battle body now, after having been caught in a snowstorm and wising up just a little. So this goof wears a very classy coat, and long pants with snow boots to tromp around in. Dont tell him that its a ladies coat he wont listen. He loves it too much to give it up. Taffys colors are a soft orange, not too obtrusive on the eyes. But definitly bright enough to be seen in the snow.

In a classical music mood at the moment. So, this isn’t a comprehensive list but here’s some classical UT.

If i had to recommend a classical song for Undyne, it would HAVE to be 1812 Overture. For people who don’t understand... the guy literally included FULL ARTILLERY CANNONS TO BE BLOWN IN THE FINALE HE WANTED IT TO BE THAT PASSIONATELY LOUD AND AGGRESSIVE (Most versions have these annoying bells playing over the finale aswell but meh)

Papyrus is all i think of listening to a good upbeat version of Swan Lake’s Danse de cygnes Allegro moderato It’s even got the Nyeh heh heh quality about it (wow typing out the long title makes me sound like such a music nerd which i’m not lol)

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy is pretty good at creating that tense feeling even though the thing sounds light and innocent. Which I think works well for Flowey. At the same time i like thinking about it as the background music of the forest area in Snowdin because of the wintery feel it gives off.

Waltz of the Flowers is a pleasant fit for Toriel’s character when you first meet and just the Ruins entirely. You can hear the regality in it, but it’s subtle. The whole thing’s just so pleasant to experience, just like at the start of the game. You’re curious. The ruins is this fun and interesting place and there aren’t really any stakes just yet.

Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu Op. 66 sums up some pretty immense emotional conflict, which interestingly enough I think goes well with how Frisk must feel with those first times facing Toriel. Like, imagine the moments where it suddenly calms down in the middle being when they’ve had to reload after dying/killing Toriel and just waking up in this contrastingly loving environment. Then they thrust straight back into it again going down those stairs.

In the Hall of the Mountain King I like to think as all the running away from Undyne you do in Waterfall. Like, you have to try and sneak away from her and once she catches sight of you it’s dammit dammit dammit RUNNNNN. ...The amount of bass going on there combined with the high stakes of the finale bit also gives off some Megalovania vibes but it’s a bit of a stretch in my opinion.

So this one’s not perfect (I might be projecting a lot) but the whole play with Alphys and Mettaton I’d associate with Can Can from Orpheus in the Underworld. Let me explain... see, the upbeat-ness and trill i think of not as enthusiasm but anxiety from Alphys. And the loud trumpets and everything become Mettaton’s flamboyancy out-shining her inputs with his shows. I mean, reflecting on the experience, the whole game Alphys put you through just to be part of your story was a pandemonium of nonsense.

So I can picture how Flowey’s trick at the end of a true pacifist, capturing everyone at their most vulnerable and becoming the Absolute God Of Hyperdeath then Frisk overcoming him by reaching out into the depths of his soul and trying to SAVE your friends tying in really well with the Swan Lake Finale. The only problem with it is that i don’t think it includes what I’d want for Asriel’s speech at the end with Frisk after he’s been saved himself. Those softer references to Asriel I’d link with the start of Swan theme instead. 

For the Frisk uncovering the amalgamates, Aquarium (from Carnival of the Animals) is just the right levels of creepy. Or... if you’re feeling in the mood for it... Gaster references would be pretty cool with it aswell.

Chopin’s Ballade Op. 23 No. 1 (the sad one you might know Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso aka Your Lie in April ) I simply have to add on this list because it’s still pretty high up there as one of my fav piano pieces of all time. So this is the one I’m going to use for Sans coming to terms with the fact that Papyrus is dead in genocide runs. But in all honesty, I think that Ballade Op. 38 No. 2 is actually a better fit for the whole thing. So I’ll suggest this one as how Sans would deal with it in a neutral run, where he’s just left to reflect on how everything played out with bitter hindsight, now being unable to do anything about it. (I really think that the feels for Sans losing his bro in neutral runs must be so much different than genocide for him. Watching the human bother to act kindly with other people... so why not him??? Still keeping an eye out, still remaining passive. Just mourning his brother left feeling empty without any explanation of why)

Night on Bald Mountain gave me serious nightmares as a kid (it’s the music in the freaky demon scene from Disney Fantasia). This one has to be given to truly the scariest character in the game. You. Here’s an ode to all those players that partnered up with Chara and gave those monsters a bad time.

And mannn I wish i could go on. But I’m falling asleep right now as i type. So I’ll stop. Maybe i’ll make some part 2 some day. Also, i wanted to add music reference links but the problem with classical music is that each version’s different which makes picking one really annoying
