Race Thoughts(Interlagos)(longggggg post warning)
Another Ferrari strategy disaster class is looking immanent
Great start form Lewis and George
And a crash before the first lap is even finished
Really sucks for Kmag it looked like both cars could've kept going if Daniel hadn't hit him after the spin
Yeah that crash was entirely on Daniel
Nooooooo Lewis, and of course it's Max who hits him
Chaos!!!!!!!
Absolutely insanity
Charles :(, honestly I missed the contact at first and just though he had just spun out
Surprised that he is able to keep going thought he would be out for sure
Common Lewis you can bring this back
11 laps and better than Mexico by a mile
Penalties for Max and Lando, fair
Carlos' car is smoking in the pits also a super early pit stop for mediums most the softs are still on
Okay it was tear off I think?????
Bottas is also having a solid race he’s made up some solid places
Carlos!!!!! Some great overtaking
It’s looking like George has this in the bag
The Ferrari has definitely gotten over the pace issues they had last week
Stop the race!!!!!!! Ham, Rus, Vet
Alpha TEAM under investigation?????
These Mercedes are absolutely flying
Mick/Alpha pit drama!!!!!!
Some odd strategy from Ferrari yet again but nothing terrible so far just strange
Also lots of great overtaking today just some phenomenal racing
Mercedes 1-2??????? Looking positive
Mercedes strat seems to be fuck Sergio Perez
George wtf does that mean, no soft or NO soft
Charles has hade such a solid recovery drive so far
Some solid defense from Checo but ultimately Lewis has a slipstream and DRS
How many times are they gonna pit Charles
So many pit stops like someone is almost always in the pits
That was some odd decision making from Mercedes, Lewis had some great pace and his tires was fine so why pit him
Okay so it is softs for George
Okay it appears that Mercedes does know what they doing
It’s looking like it’s gonna be Carlos vs Checo for 3rd
No Toto :(
Kevin is apparently still stuck on the track
Nooo Lando and on his birthday :(
This race has had some insane strategy I don’t understand a single thing that is happening
Full safety car now could be interesting
This safety car is taking forever
Estie getting feistie on the radio over team orders
Okay it’s finally over
Another great start from George
Charles podium?????
Insanity!!!!!!!!
How on earth did they not make contact(Carlos & Checo)
This is looking like George’s to take
Charles has had such a great rescue drive
WTF is up with Yuki cause he’s over a minute behind Lattifi
Checo is just falllllling back
WTF why are they telling Max to pass Checo he needs the points way more, Max has already won
Charles is asking for Carlos’ position!!!
Max is being asked to give back position
Great for George!!!!!!!
Who doesn’t love a first win!!!!!
Max is such a fucking brat everything is handed to him constantly and he never repays the favor
Charles was also lowkey being kinda bratty(apparently the position switch was agreed too before the race but orders where never relayed to Carlos)
Some massive interteam fighting this weekend
Seb really got screwed from P3 to P11
The drama from this weekend alone is enough for at least 3 DTS episodes

you know what kendall deserves his version of willa (with a happier ending) he can do his lewis and clark of sex manic episode thing with her, it starts as filling the void with sex and pushing shit away, she wanted some fun and the money wasn't a bad thing and doesn't find him to be as awful as she thought he could be.
she becomes super protective of him once she realizes what he's actually going through, doesn't let his family speak over him. None of that your kids aren't your real kids bullshit, all 'that's it we're doing something about it' attitude. she convinces him to go back to rehab and stay in therapy treatment (and she waits for him)
it goes from sex buddies to actual friendship to love.
she becomes his number 1 fan, she gets him into collecting records and investing into things he actually cares about. maybe he starts a label? or he funds one. he wants to patch up his relationship with his kids guess who's there ready to be there for him?? when kens guilt returns about the waiter, about the election, about his kids, about everything shes is there. if the jess publishing a book thing is an in universe thing and he gets to see himself from the outside, she is there.
she also comes from this hard background and has done tons of work to heal, so she's ready to be there for him. nobody has ever actually cared about him, and wasn't counting on that being the direction of the relationship so it takes him a while to realize this isn't just sex and money anymore.
he probably keeps thinking the only reason she stays is because well she likes his money, the more he likes her the more he pushes her away because he thinks it's for the best. nobody really needs to put up with him, she figures it out though.
she knows the cycle, she has lived the cycle. they don't have to be together anymore but she will not leave him, he breaks, it's love, it's real. it might not be forever but close enough, and it's real love.
_
Anyway I'm not a writer I'm just tired of the nihilism of people with kendall my man is happy and content in the future, he finds happiness again. He still has stewy who will be definitely investing on the label thing even if he says he won't work with ken ever again. ken funds stewys lube line (the wetter the better) in repayment.
sorry that i sent this to you but i needed it to be out there somewhere. love your Professor!Ken headcanons! hope you're having a great time on your vacations 💜
i totally could see ken ending up with a willa! or someone like him. there are some really good ken x reader fics that have this sort of dynamic, too, even if doesn't go exactly how you type it out here!
i think kendall could literally do anything with his money, a record label would be a great idea since he's so into music/art and pop culture stuff! also him dating someone younger would keep him 'hip' to everything so he would see that as a perk of seeing her.
and yes! i could see their relationship being sort of cyclic like the show. maybe he pushes her away when he gets too emotionally involved, but she sort of keeps coming back because she likes him too.
i understand why kendall's ending has to be seen as grim for the sake of the show, but i don't know that it's as grim as 'he's going to die' if that's how jesse wanted to end the show that's how he would've ended it, you know? like i think it's intentional kendall was kept alive, but he will probably find something else to be obsessive about eventually. and the cycle will keep repeating!! but its not all bad in my opinion.

Angel sat at the picnic table outside of the clubhouse enjoying a quiet smoke alone. It was a fairly easy day at work with no club shit to occupy his mind. He also had not heard from Adelita all day so it seemed as if it was going to be a quiet night. He could use the break but at the same time he welcomed the noise. Part of the reason he took on so much was to keep his mind busy. It was in those quiet moments when his mind wondered too much, bringing with it the pain that always came when he thought about Juliet, when he thought about his wife.
It had been two years, five months, and three weeks since he had last seen her. It was a Friday morning. He had woken up with her in his arms like he always had, they had breakfast together, he gave her a kiss goodbye and told her how he couldn’t wait to see her that night. It was their three year anniversary. They were going to spend the evening together having a nice meal before heading to Vegas in the morning for a little get away.
It was all so normal, so perfect.
But then he ended up stuck on the other side of the border longer than he anticipated. He felt awful but she understood the club life and the responsibilities that came with it. He was sure she wouldn’t be upset. He left her a voicemail apologizing and promising to make it up to her and then rushed home as fast as he could.
When he got home everything seemed fine. The lights were off and the house just as he had left it. He assumed she had just gone to bed so he carefully and quietly made his way through the house to the bedroom and undressed before slipping under the covers expecting to find her there. He was going to pull her close and she was going to flip around and snuggle into his chest.
It’s what they always did.
But the bed was empty and she wasn’t there. He got up and searched the whole house but she was gone. Her purse was still hanging by the door, her car was in the driveway, all personal belongings were still there with no suitcases missing, and there was no damn note or signs of foul play.
It was as if she just vanished.
Some people said something horrible must have happened and other’s said she finally realized she deserved better than Angel and left him. Angel didn’t believe any of that. He held onto hope that she would come back, that all the searching would lead them to her, that they would find her. But they never did and eventually everyone else stopped looking, stopped hoping.
Maybe it was time for Angel to too.
“Hey, you ready to go to Pop’s?” EZ asked, stepping in front of Angel’s gaze.
Angel nodded getting up from his seat at the table. The brother’s tried to make it a point to go have lunch with Felipe at least once a week after EZ began prospecting for the club and the two had become busier.
Angel was thankful that EZ was out and had decided to stick around town. Despite all the resentment towards his younger brother he still loved him more than anything. It made him feel really good when EZ told him he wanted to prospect for the club, that he wanted to be a part of something that Angel was.
After everything that the Reyes family had been through it was just nice to have everyone together again.
The two pulled up in front of Carniceria Reyes backing their bikes up to the curb before turning the engines off and taking their helmets off. Angel stepped off his bike when he overheard the two women’s conversation across the street as they tried to act like they weren’t looking their way. He knew they were. Someone was always looking at him and his family like they were dirty, no good criminals.
“It’s honestly such a blessing Marisol isn’t around to see this and poor Felipe.” One of the women, probably in her fifties with a horrible Karen haircut said to her friend who looked almost like an exact copy of her as they sipped on their lattes outside the coffee shop. She was trying to keep her voice hushed as if that would matter. It didn’t, Angel already knew what so many people in this small town thought. “First his youngest kills that cop then Angel kills his wife, poor girl.”
There were the people who thought Juliet was dead and there were the people who thought she left him but worst of all were the people who thought Angel had killed her, like he would ever do that. He never once laid a hand on her and never would. She was his soulmate, the only woman he ever loved besides his mother. The fact that anyone thought he could do such a thing to her is what hurt the most, it’s what made him feel sick.
“Oh come on, you don’t know that.” Her friend said, trying to defend the boys. She had watched them grow up, they were good kids. Yes they were a part of the biker club now but that didn’t make them murderers. “Anything could have happened to her.”
Karen, or at least that’s what Angel was calling her sipped her coffee before meeting Angel’s eyes across the street. She looked away quickly ducking her head to respond to her friend. “Linda, everyone knows it’s always the spouse. There were no signs of foul play, no evidence. People don’t just up and vanish like that. He had to have done something to her and then buried her somewhere where no one would find her. People in those biker gangs do that shit all the time”
Angel clenched his jaw about ready to stomp over there when EZ grabbed his arm, keeping him back. “Don’t Angel. It’s not worth it.” He understood where his brother was coming from. He hated the looks he’d get around town and the ones his brother got too. People looked down on them and it fucking sucked but they couldn’t change their opinions on them. They knew what was true and that was all that mattered.
“We can't just let them get away with that, dragging our name through the mud and spreading their gossip. Someone has to set them straight EZ.” Angel kept his gaze on the woman across from them. He was sick of this, sick of the rumors. There was only so much he could take before he snapped again. Last time the fucker who wouldn’t shut up ended up in the hospital. “I can’t do this anymore. I didn’t fucking kill her.”
“I know, I know.” EZ tried to calm his brother down, to be the rational voice he needed. He wasn’t here for Angel when everything went down but he was going to have his brother’s back now. Angel met Juliet while EZ was in Stockton. EZ didn’t know her well but from the visits she would make and hearing about her he knew she was a great person. He also knew how much his brother loved her and how broken he was after her disappearance. “It doesn’t matter what they think. Everyone is always going to have an opinion on what happened. Just ignore them Angel.”
“It’s not that easy Ezekiel.” Angel snapped. He didn’t mean to take it out on his brother. “You don’t know what it’s like to have everyone look at you like you’re some fucking monster, to have to hear as people whisper all the horrible things you supposedly did to the one person who you loved more than anything. Yeah so you killed a fucking cop, a dirty cop at that. That’s not the same.” Maybe it was a low blow but EZ had no idea what Angel was going through. He couldn’t know what it was like to live with the constant reminder of that night, what it was like to have his whole relationship under a microscope like it was everybody’s business.
Angel sat in the small room staring past his reflection at whoever may be on the other side of the glass watching him. He had been in here for at least forty minutes. He was starting to get antsy as he tapped his rings against the table. Each moment wasted in here was a moment lost when he could be out looking for Juliet.
The door finally opened as an older gentleman with grey hair in a dark suit walked into the room. Angel sat back in his chair looking the man straight on. “Mr. Reyes, I’m detective Lawrence. I’ll be working the case on your wife Juliet Reyes.”
Lawrence took a seat across from Angel folding his hands on top of the table. “Now why don’t you tell me everything, starting from the beginning.”
“Look I’m willing to give you whatever the fuck you need to find my wife safe and alive but I don’t see why I’m here when I could be out there looking for her.” Angel said pointing to the door.
“Just have to follow up on all leads. The best way to find your wife is to start with you Mr. Reyes.”
“Angel.”
“Angel.” Lawrence corrected himself. “You knew her better than anyone right? So our best shot at finding her is you.” Lawrence gave him a forced smile. Angel Reyes had a record, was a known criminal and a member of the Mayans MC. Right now he was their number one suspect if foul play happened to be involved. “So start from the beginning Angel. Friday morning was your wife acting suspicious at all? Anything out of the ordinary?”
“No, everything was completely normal. We woke up, had breakfast like we always do and then I had to go to work early so I told her I loved her and would see her that night. She had about an hour left before work so she was going to finish grading some of her students' drawings before going in.” Juliet was a kindergarten teacher here in Santo Padre. She loved her job almost as much as she loved Angel.
“And that was the last time you saw her that day?”
“Yeah.”
“That night was your anniversary right? You said you had a trip planned for the weekend to celebrate?”
“Yes. We were going to have dinner at home and leave first thing in the morning.” Angel recalled. He was so excited to have a mini vacation with Juliet. They had been trying to get pregnant for a while and were hoping a relaxing vacation would be just what they needed with all the stress in their lives.
“But you didn’t make it home in time.” Lawrence sat back folding his hands in his lap. “Why was that?”
“I was working, ended up being later than I anticipated. I called her to let her know. Her cell went to voicemail.” Angel had called her when he got a moment alone to tell her he’d be running late. He didn’t want her to worry about him and felt terrible about being late. They had one rule. If he was going to be doing club shit then she needed to know where he was. She was a natural worrier. He never wanted to add to her worry so he promised he would inform her of everything so she never felt blindsided. “I left a message.”
“So it was your anniversary. How many years?”
“Three.” Angel was starting to get testy. He didn’t see what any of this had to do with anything.
“Three years,” Lawrence emphasized, “That’s a long time. Three years is a big deal and you bailed on her. You don’t think she’s just maybe upset? Maybe she left for your vacation herself or is with a friend.”
“She didn’t leave. She wouldn't just leave like that.” There was no way Juliet just left him. That wasn’t like her. Plus all her belongings were there. “Why would she leave without anything? Her fucking purse and everything was still at home. No,” Angel shook his head, “She wouldn’t just leave me like that. Trust me if she was upset with me she would have let me know.”
“Like on Thursday. We have a witness who says you and Juliet got into a little bit of a heated argument outside the school on her lunch break. What was that about?”
Angel chuckled bitterly. He couldn’t believe this was happening right now. He was already worn out enough with worry. Now this asshole was starting down a path he hoped he sure as hell wouldn’t. “If whoever your witness is thinks what we had was a heated argument” he knew who it was. It was Brenda he was sure. She never did like him and made it well known. “I don’t want to know what they think a fight is. We got into a minor disagreement. Nothing out of the ordinary for a married couple.” Yes things got a little heated that afternoon but they had made up that night. It was none of the assholes goddamn business.
Lawrence decided to let that slide, for now. “Okay so if she didn’t leave then what happened?”
“What else would have happened?!” Angel shouted, slamming his hands onto the table. He was over this now. “Someone must have grabbed her or something.”
“And who would do that?” Lawrence pressed him. Angel was starting to crack. If he was going to get a confession it would be soon. “Who and how? There were no signs of a struggle. You know what that tells me?”
“What?” Angel asked through clenched teeth squeezing his hands into fists.
“It tells me if something did happen to her, it was someone she knew, someone close to her. Someone who she shared everything with.” Lawrence leaned back onto the table towards Angel. “Someone she trusted, who she loved enough to marry.”
“What the fuck are you saying?” Angel’s chest started heaving as he did everything in his power to not deck this mother fucker right here and now. “You think I did something to her?”
“Statistically speaking it's usually the spouse. Maybe you came home, she was naturally upset, things got physical. You love her. I can see that.” He was just trying to get a reaction from Angel, anything that would make him slip up. “You didn’t mean to hurt her, it just happened.”
Angel wanted to lunge at him but instead he just stared him down never breaking the hold he had on his eyes. “I’ve never laid a fucking hand on my wife. Maybe you should look at her psychotic ex. You know the one she had to get a fucking restraining order against?”
“Mr. Reyes, we are following up on all leads. How about you let me do my damn job?” Lawrence barked back at him.
“Maybe I would if you were fucking doing it well. You’re wasting precious fucking time breathing down my neck when you could be out there, I could be out there!” Angel shouted, “Looking for my wife!”
“If you weren’t home then where exactly were you? Do you have an alibi Mr.Reyes?” Lawrence asked. Angel said he was working late but he knew the scrapyard wasn’t open that late. What else could he have possibly been doing so late? Sounded like a good excuse to Lawrence. “Where were you Angel?”
Angel couldn’t exactly say where he was or what he was doing without possibly incriminating himself and the club. They were on the other side of the border doing a drug run. That did not really provide a good alibi for Angel. Angel knew he was in a real fucking tight spot. “I want my lawyer.” He wasn’t going to give them any more, especially if they weren’t going to be helping him.
Angel sat at the table outside the Carniceria with Felipe and EZ enjoying their lunch. The sun was out only adding to the heat Santo Padre usually experienced. Angel finished his burrito wiping his mouth on his napkin and sitting back as he looked at the various shops across the street. Thankfully the two women decided to leave rather than watch the Reyes boys and their poor father.
Sometimes Angel really fucking hated living in a small town where everyone knew everyone.
“So EZ tells me you have a date tonight,” Felipe spoke, gaining Angel's attention.
“Yep,” Angel said. He didn’t really have much to say about it. Quite frankly he had debated bailing more than once but he wouldn’t do that to Sierra. Gwen, Juliet’s best friend and partner in crime had been trying to set him up for months now insisting that he should move on, that that’s what Juliet would want but he just never could. Now EZ had joined in with trying to play matchmaker. Eventually Angel gave in agreeing to one date but nothing more.
Sure he had been with other women, mostly just sex with the girls from Vicky’s but that was different. The sex was meaningless, a way to fill the empty void inside him, but an actual date that meant something more. Going on a date symbolized the start of something new, a future for him without Juliet. It felt like if he took this next step he’d be giving up on her and any hope that she was coming back.
But it has been two years now. Was it really so wrong for him to try to move on?
“How come you never dated after mom?” Angel asked Felipe. It was a question that had been on his mind, especially after he experienced a similar loss to his father.
“Your mother was the love of my life and still is,” Felipe told his boys. He didn’t often talk about Marisol to his sons. Even eight years later it was still hard but Angel needed to hear this. “It just never felt right but you’re still young Angel. You have the chance to start over, to have a family of your own. Juliet would want that for you.”
Everyone was constantly telling him what Juliet would want like they would know. The thing is they didn’t know. No one knew her like Angel did. They shared everything, told each other things they’d never tell another soul.
They were soulmates.
But maybe this time they were right. Maybe this was what she wanted.
Angel checked himself out in the full length mirror on the closet in his bedroom. He was wearing a green plaid button up and his best pair of black jeans. He felt weird standing here in his bedroom getting ready for a date with someone that wasn’t his wife. He didn’t know exactly how to feel but he knew this was the right time to start. He’d never feel completely ready. It was just something he had to do, to rip the band-aid off and get back out there.
“I always loved that shirt,” He could hear Juliet saying, could see her standing behind him in the mirror. “It’s okay baby. I’m gone and I’m not coming back. You deserve to be happy. I want you to be happy.” She smiled, the one that shined so brightly reaching all the way to her eyes, the one that always made him feel lighter.
This is what she would want.
He took a shaky breath, smiling as he fixed his hair up quickly. He would do it for her. He would do anything for her. With a spritz of his cologne he gave himself one last once over before heading out to the living room where his audience was waiting. “Well, how do I look?” He asked, holding his arms out.
“Like an ass in a green shirt,” EZ grinned from his spot on the couch. Angel flipped off his brother while Serena, Gwen’s five year old daughter whacked EZ on the arm.
“Hey you be nice to uncle Angel!” She shouted defending her favorite Uncle. Angel and Juliet were her godparents and spent a lot of time helping out as much as they could with Serena after her father bailed on her and Gwen. It wasn’t difficult, they both fell in love with the little girl instantly. The time they spent watching her grow up is what pushed them to start thinking about a family of their own. Angel only wished Juliet was here to see the sweet little girl Serena had grown into.
“Thanks princesa” Angel chuckled, leaning over and pulling her into a hug as she jumped off the couch and into his arms.
“I think you look beautiful.” She mumbled into him as she squeezed her little arms around his neck.
Once Serena pulled away from the embrace Angel stood up meeting Gwen’s smile. She stood up off the couch coming over to Angel and straightened out his shirt that her daughter had now wrinkled up. “The most beautiful man,” she teased, smoothing out the last of the wrinkles. “You look great Angel. This is going to be good for you.” She knew Angel had doubts about dating but he couldn’t go on like he was. She loved her best friend more than anything but Juliet wasn’t coming back. If she was alive out there somewhere she would have at least contacted Gwen somehow. That told her that chances were she wasn’t alive.
Angel became like family to her. She came to love him just as much as Juliet. They were family. After Juliet disappeared they became each other’s rock through the hard time. They both lost the most important person in their lives. It was good to have someone who could really relate to what they were going through.
“It’s time.” Gwen smiled up at him giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“You look good Angel.” EZ joined the three giving Angel a hug. They were all here for Angel. This was a big step he was taking. “Now you better get going before you are late. That wouldn’t look very good for your first date.”
“Right.” Angel nodded. He didn’t need to be late on his first date and he had one stop he had to make before he went. He gave them all a smile ruffling Serena’s hair before he headed for the door.
“Wait!” Serena called out chasing after him. Angel turned around taking the small tin she extended out to him. “They’re mints so your breath doesn’t smell icky with smoke.”
Angel shook his head chuckling. Serena was honest for sure and always made her displeasure with his smoking known. “Thank you.” He leaned over kissing her forehead before heading out.
On his way to his date at the bowling alley he stopped at the playground just a few blocks away from Santo Padre Elementary. Angel made his way over to the swing set on the far north side of the park. The park was one of three around town this one being the biggest one.
Angel took Juliet here for their first official date and after that night under the stars it became their spot. It was here where she first started letting her walls down around him. She came to Santo Padre to stay with Gwen after escaping her then husband, James.
That night she told him a little about James. From that day on Angel wanted to kill that asshole and swore to her and himself he would never treat her as such. With him she would always be safe. He only wished he was able to keep her safe as he had promised.
Angel sat on the swing he used to push her in twisting his wedding band around his finger. He smiled to himself remembering the carefree feeling being here together always brought. It was the little things between them. They didn’t have much but as long as they had each other they would be set for life.
“Fuck I miss you Jules.” Angel sighed, swinging lightly back and forth. “I miss you so fucking much. I’m lost without you. You were my everything. I’m not ready to let you go, not fully, but I have to do something. You’d want me to move on, right?” He looked up at the pink sky as the sun set. Sunset’s were always her favorite thing. Juliet loved sitting outside watching the colors of the sky change before the darkness took over and the stars began shining.
“I love you, mi amor,” he murmured as he slipped the band off his finger. “This isn’t goodbye, just see you later. You’ll always hold my heart but it’s time. It’s been long enough.” Angel ran his hand through his hair trying to calm the growing ache in his chest. “You aren’t going to come back, I know that. I just hope wherever you are you’re resting easy. We’ll meet again.” Angel brought the wedding ring to his lips giving it a kiss before he slipped it into the pocket of his kutte above his heart. “I can’t wait to see you again.”
****
The guy’s were all hanging around outside the clubhouse the next day towards the evening. They just got back from a short run and were enjoying a nice smoke and beer before heading home just enjoying each other’s company.
“So?” Gilly nudged Angel’s shoulder with his beer wiggling his eyebrows.
“So what?” Angel asked, giving him a look.
“How’d the date go?” They were all wondering how it went but were waiting for Angel to bring it up himself which so far he had yet to do.
“Alright,” Angel shrugged, taking a swig of his beer.
“Just alright?” Creeper asked from over at the picnic table. “That’s all we’re going to get?”
“What, you guys want to hear all the details like we’re a bunch of teenage girls at a slumber party?” Angel mocked them. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to share there just was not much to share. They hung out for a couple hours, talked a little and then said their goodbyes. There was no spark or anything making Angel want another one. At least not with her.
“Did you at least get good head or something?” Coco asked, leaning his back against the table. “I heard Sierra gives great fucking head.” He chuckled along with the others.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Angel laughed with them. “Why don’t you find out for yourself?”
“Really? Does that mean there’s not going to be a second date?”
“No second date.” Angel admitted. “We just didn’t click.” She just wasn’t Juliet. “She’s free game.”
“Well I’m proud of you hermano, for putting yourself back out there.” Coco said, raising his beer up in a toast to his brother. They all took a drink for Angel. It was a big step, one they thought he may never take. They were glad to see Angel at least trying.
“Fuck. Now that Angel’s back in the game we’re all going to have to step up our game.” Gilly commented.
“Like you had any game to begin with,” Angel teased, laughing with the guys.
Bishop came out of the clubhouse looking for Angel. He just got off the phone with one of their brothers from another charter with information that would change everything. He smiled watching the guys joke around and laugh. Working with the cartel added extra stress to the men. They didn’t have as many light moments as these.
“Angel,” Bishop called out from the top of the steps. “Can I have a moment?”
“Sure thing Prez,” Angel called back, releasing Gilly from the headlock he had him in now. He gave Gilly a pat on the back before following Bishop into the clubhouse and to Templo.
Bishop stood by Angel’s chair. “You might want to take a seat for this brother.” Bishop’s face was dead serious making Angel’s smile drop instantly. Angel did as was suggested as his mind began racing. His first thought was somehow Bishop found out about his deal with the rebels but then he figured he wouldn't be here if that was the case.
“What’s going on Bish?” Angel asked cautiously. Whatever it was he had a feeling it was not going to be good.
“I just got a call from one of our brothers in Arizona,” He started sitting down as well. “It’s about Juliet.” They had eyes out for her even after all these years. Until they had some solid evidence of what happened to her Bishop wasn’t going to give up. Juliet wasn’t just Angel’s wife but a part of the family. They all hurt when she went missing and they all felt for Angel and all the pain he endured the last two years. “Two hunters found her in Prescott National forest.”
Angel’s heart stopped. He knew this day would come eventually but he wasn’t ready for it so soon. He didn’t want to hear this. He didn’t want to believe it. Thinking she was dead and knowing were two very different things. With just thinking there was at least a sliver of hope that she could be alive and well out there. Angel stood up from his chair. He couldn’t hear this. “I can’t Bish.”
He went to leave when Bishop caught him by the arm. “She’s alive, Angel.”
Angel must have misheard. He turned back around, his face scrunched up. “What?”
“She’s alive. She’s in the hospital up there. I guess she took a bit of a tumble.” Bishop said recalling all the information he was given. “They are going to have a couple of the guys posted there until you get there.”
“She’s alive?” Angel still couldn’t believe it.
“She’s alive,” Bishop grinned, pulling Angel into a tight hug. Bishop pulled back holding the back of Angel’s head doing the best to keep his own tears at bay as the younger man’s tears fell off his lashes. “You go get your wife and you bring her home.”

January 31, 2021: Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
Considering this is his last film in the franchise...let’s finally talk about Mel Gibson.
Tumblr media
There is one thing that needs to be said above all other things.
Fuck Mel Gibson. Dude’s an anti-semitic, racist douche-nozzle. These things have been PROVEN, and he sucks. But Mel Gibson movies? Ehhhhhhh, hit-or-miss. For every Braveheart and Lethal Weapon, there’s The Patriot and What Women Want. But his breakout role as Mad Max Rockatansky?
Tumblr media
...He rules.
Yeah, I hate to admit it, but I may hate him as a person...but not really as an actor. Sure, he’s no Daniel Day Lewis or anything, but the man is good, when he’s in good movies. And Max DEFINITELY is no exception to that rule. He’s good. He’s GREAT, even. Much as it pains me, he’s kind of perfect so far.
Let’s see if he can keep that up in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
Recap
We’re immediately plunged into the mid ‘80s as the credits roll, as Tina Turner sings us in. And then, of course...the Outback. And...GYRO!
Tumblr media
Bruce Spence is back, but piloting a plane with his son, rather than the Gyrocopter. And that’s because he’s actually playing a different character, a pilot named Jedidiah. I mean...OK, sure. Not sure why you brought back Spence, but I liked Bruce Spence in the last movie a LOT, so I’m not complaining.
Anyway, they steal a wagon of supplies from a desert nomad, revealed to be none other than Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson). Max makes his way to Bartertown, where many people have come to trade items. In the case of Max, he’s come specifically to find his belongings. Through this settlement, we can see that things in Australia have gotten way...WAY worse. Like, goddamn, these movies show a clear progression from the original film to Fury Road.
Tumblr media
After some light threats, Max is told that he may get back his belongings for “24 hours of his time.” He turns in his belongings, and is taken through the town, where Jedidiah has indeed come with his stuff. The barter master brings him up to the lady of the hour, Aunty Entity (Tina Turner). She was apparently nobody until “the Day After,” after which she seized her power. She now stands as the head of Bartertown.
Tumblr media
Max believes that he’s been brought up to retrieve his stuff, but has instead been brought to “audition” for a position offered by Entity. This position is to kill a man, without revealing any connection to Entity. This man is MasterBlaster, a two-man unit of Master’s brain (Angelo Rossito) and Blaster’s brawn (Paul Larsson). And yeah, pretty sure there’s a Mortal Kombat based off of these two.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MasterBlaster runs the Underground, a subterranean pig farm that supplies the city’s power-supply, methane. They’re arrogant, and Entity wants them disposed of. And so, Max is sent in undercover to kill the fragment-talking unit. Down in the pig-shit (yeah, literally), Max befriends Pig Killer (Robert Grubb), a convict that killed a pig, as his name implies.
Mas also encounters the power-hungry MasterBlaster, who regularly cuts off the power to force Aunty Entity to recognize his power. This is why MasterBlaster has to go. They force Max, with his mechanical expertise, to fix a machine. While doing so, Max learns that Blaster is particularly sensitive to loud, high-pitched noises.
Tumblr media
Max agrees to take out MasterBlaster, and Aunty and her trademaster, Collector (Frank Thring) reveals the way: challenge Blaster in the Thunderdome, an arena of combat. Max picks a fight with Blaster, and they enter the Thunderdome. Two men enter...one man leaves. So says the announcer, Dr. Dealgood (Edwin Hodgeman), and so chants the crowd. Dyin’ time’s here.
As the actual cage match begins between Blaster and Max, called the “Man with No Name,” the two are hooked up to harnesses, and weapons are provided on the ceiling. The doors are locked, and...I love this whole goddamn thing, can I just say?
youtube
However, at the end, Max can’t kill Blaster, and Master runs to his side. In the process, he reveals his deal with Entity to kill MasterBlaster. While Master claims that the methane supply will now stop. Blaster’s killed anyway, and Entity sends Max to be punished by the Wheel for defying her and “busting the deal.”
Max is sent to the Gulag, which somehow involves Entity’s security officer Ironbar Bassey (Angry Anderson) putting a mask on him and putting him on a horse riding in the desert. I get the feeling that there is no Gulag, and Entity just sent him to die. Pretty sneaky, sis. Master, on the other hand, is put under the command of Ironbar, and forced to run Bartertown’s methane supply under penalty of death by pig (yes, really). The Pig Killer, meanwhile, sends Max’s monkey (yeah, Max had a monkey for some reason) out of the farm, with a canteen strapped to it.
Tumblr media
Max’s horse dies, and is swallowed by quicksand in the desert. Max escapes this fate, and his monkey finds him with the water. He still collapses later on, only to be found by Savannah Nix (Helen Buday), the leader of a tribe of children living in the desert. She believes him to be a “Captain Walker,” and the tribe of kids take him back to their riverside encampment.
This tribe is fascinating, and I mean that. This is Lord of the Flies combined with an anthropological hodgepodge. They’ve essentially deified “Captain Walker,” and wait for Max to wake up. When he finally does, they confront him with some kind of chanting, and repeat what he says back to him.
Tumblr media
More is explained as Savannah and their other leader, Slake M’Thirst (Tom Jennings) introduces them as the Waiting Ones, and explains their history. A plague wiped out much of humanity, and many of them got onto a plane, which crashed in the Outback. Their history was recorded on Viewfinders and cave painting, with the pilot of the plane memorialized as “Captain Walker.” Walker and some of his crew left the settlement and their children behind to search for help and civilization. Told to wait for him to take them home, to “Tomorrow Land,” these children are the descendants of that search party, whom they believe Max to be.
But, of course, Max isn’t Captain Walker. He instead tells them of the truth, that cities like “Tomorrow-morrow Land” are gone, and that this is not their home. He throws the hat up into the air, and a wind blows, as if to signify the passing of their God and beliefs. The children interpret this wind as a sign to leave for civilization, and a mass exodus immediately begins.
Tumblr media
The children all head to the site of the crashed plane, believing that Max can fix it and fly them home. But Max just...leaves. He heads back to the children’s oasis, where they eventually follow, confused. Some of them, led by Savannah, believe that they can walk to Tomorrow-morrow Land, where Max must have come from.
Max tries to prevent them from leaving into more danger, and ends up knocking Savannah out. They tie her up and keep them there, but one of the kids, Screwloos (Rod Zuanic) frees them during the night. The other kids ask Max to get them back from the desert, and he reluctantly agrees. With three children to support him, they head through the desert to rescue the kids. This works, although they do sadly lose one child to quicksand.
Tumblr media
Now completely out of water and supplies, the group has to go to Bartertown if they have any chance of making it back. Max’s plan is to get the help of the now-imprisoned Master. With help from Pig-Killer and Master, the group manages to take out many of the guards, Ironbar Bassey included. By the time Entity finds out, the group has already hijacked a truck converted into a train.
Yes. really
Tumblr media
This might not be a car-heavy Mad Max, but GODDAMN does this rule.
Bartertown begins to collapse, and the methane plant is destroyed. Aunty rallies the forces of Bartertown to go after them, and NOW...NOW we get our car-stuff. During the chase, we get an obligatory death by truck (Ironbar Bassey, who’s now DEFINITELY dead), and Max manages to save Master from Entity’s grasp. But Ironbar Bassey...WHO’S STILL ALIVE??
Tumblr media
Well, he eventually goes the way of Sarah (Blessed be Her Fall), and the group reaches the end of the track, where they’re held up by...Jedidiah’s son. Been wondering where you’ve been, mate. He escapes into his father’s underground lair, where the group follows him. Max FINALLY confronts him, and they fly to safety.
They get chased further by IRONBAR BASSEY, WHAT THE FUCK
Tumblr media
CAN HE DIE? WHAT THE HELL, MAN?
As Aunty Entity and the rest gang up on the group, they turn the plane around, and prepare to take off through the gang. Max, however, uses a vehicle to clear the way, allowing the plane enough space to take off. And I think Ironbar Bassey is FINALLY dead. Probably.
Tumblr media
Max is captured by Entity, as the kids, Pig-Killer, and Jedidiah escape. But surprisingly...she leaves. Whether she’s leaving him for dead or not, I’m not sure, but it seems that she’s come to respect him after all of this. She bids farewell to the Raggedy Man, and leaves him in the desert.
Meanwhile, Jedidiah flies the kids through a sandstorm in the plane, and takes them to…
Tumblr media
The kids were right. Eventually, they bring the others to the destroyed Sydney, where they pass on the tradition, and tells the story of the man that found them, lighting the city up for a night that Max will return home.
FUCK YES, HOLY SHIT, PLAY THIS MOVIE OUT TINA TURNER
youtube
...Wow. That was Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. I’m ready to talk about these movies now.

tags masterpost
a couple of people have complimented me on my new tag system and a couple of people have asked me what tags go to what sort of content, so i thought i’d write up a little masterpost of what the tags mean, where they came from, and why they’re important to me! you’ll even get a sneak peek at a few tags that are very rare or have yet to be used 👀. this will be linked in my carrd when i get around to it. i’ve even tried to alphabetize them 😅 thanks for expressing interest, it’s very lovely of you all xoxo
#and i am close behind — home tag
a continuation of “the wild geese are heading home again” which is my nature tag. just for everything that makes me feel like i am coming home.
#and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart — quotes and words tag
from a poem by e.e. cummings. “and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart / i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)”. words are just hearts speaking to each other, after all.
#and i was like *screams* — space tag
from the jenny slate drunk history nasa episode, because she somehow manages to sum up fully 80% of my feelings about the universe in that one sentence
#angstposting — disordered thoughts tag
literally just stream-of-consciousness breakdown-posting. probably block this tag. i go back and clean it out after every breakdown.
#but they are all good stories — media analysis/literature critique tag
hilary mantel (whose work i have never read) wrote that “some of these things are true and some of them lies. but they are all good stories.” anyway, that’s how i feel about taking apart stories and narratives and looking at them from the outside.
#can you not hear the ocean in me — mental health and disorders tag
the non-breakdown version. from this poem, which i can’t find anyone but i think is a deleted inkskinned or caitlyn siehl one:
“i am alive;
can you not hear the ocean in me;
are you not aware of the war i am fighting ;
i am alive ;
you cannot take that from me”
#checkmate nihilism — crafts tag
higgsboshark wrote a lovely post about how knitting is a great treatment for existential dread & now that’s all i think about every time i’m crafting. checkmate, nihilism. look at this thing that i am making with my hands. it exists and it will change someone’s life.
#dumbposting — misc tag
for tag games and dumb comments and things that don’t fit in anywhere else.
#fashion is instant language — fashion/body art tag
okay. IS this a cliche prada quote? yes. but also, one of my first classes in college was about art & society & the first thing that we learned was that the human body is the first & most primal canvas. what you do with your body is a statement, a language you are sharing with the people around you. i get very emotional about it.
#felt rather than seen — poetry tag
YES i am a BASIC WHITE GIRL, thank you. the first half of the da vinci quote. “poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen / “
#fill your arms with the pink and white flowers — spring aesthetic tag
from one of mary oliver’s slightly less well known poems.
“do you also hurry, half-dressed and barefoot, into the garden, and softly
exclaiming of their dearness,
fill your arms with
the pink and white flowers,
with their honeyed heaviness, their lush trembling, their eagerness
to be wild and perfect for a moment, before they are nothing
forever”
#get in good trouble — activism/politics tag
are you really living if you aren’t making trouble for someone? write more letters. leave more voicemails. go to protests. join a mutual aid group. donate. there’s something you can do, even if it’s small.
#i am building a world that is worth living for — moral living tag
slightly different from the activism tag bc this is more about what you/i can do in everyday life to make the world a better place. these are my own words, reminding me that to stay alive i have to build my own life and live in it.
#i care to look on the outside like i do on the inside — gender/ sexuality tag
maggie stiefvater is a poet.
#i have a magpie mind — happy tag
laurie graham’s version of the quote goes “i have a magpie mind, by which i mean i see and hear little things - photos, fragments of conversation - and store them away for future use,” and that’s what this tag is. just a lot of lovely things that i want to look back on.
#i think i was a selkie in a past life — ocean/beach/selkie myth tag
someday i’m going to walk into the ocean and never come out again. j promised he would take me to a warm ocean where i can stand in chest-deep waves until i can’t stand any longer and i’ve never looked forward to anything so much in my life.
#i wrote my own deliverance — creation/writing tag
this is not an admission of guilt. hamilton has a lot of words in it and these happen to be very nice.
#it would be a merrier world —  food tag
because tolkien was right.
#laughter for no cause — humor tag
funny things. half of a quote by louise glück.
#let the wilderness engulf us again — discourse tag
i believe this is by christa wolf. anyway this is how i feel when i read Discourse. let’s all just get swallowed by the wilderness. who needs civilization anyway.
#loveposting — affection tag
look, i’m just really gay and happy and i love my followers and my mutuals. let’s move on
#nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it — memory/emotion tag
yes, i have read everything ever written by l m montgomery, why do you ask?
#offspring of heaven firstborn — light tag
constantly debating about whether i should change this one. i just have too many quotes about light. and too many posts about light. and too much love for light. this one is by milton, from the third book of paradise lost, and i memorized the entire chapter as a teenager because my “history” “class” believed in memorization as a form of education.
#our bodies are meant to hold other bodies — sex/eros tag
from that little comic by grendelmenz (?). i KNOW it’s about cannibalism i DON’T care don’t @ me to love is to consume
#seen rather than felt — painting/visual art tag
and here’s the other half of the da vinci quote.
#she stood in desperate music wound — music and playlists tag
from “a crazed girl” by yeats. tbh i usually lie upside down in my bed in desperate music wound but this poem kept me going as a teenager
#simply because the world is beautiful — misc tag
i just think the world is lovely and i am glad to be alive in it. this is where the rest of the assorted content goes.
#someday you will be old enough to read fairytales again — fantasy/gaming/scifi tag
cs lewis got one thing right.
#stardust will turn into kindness — joy tag
okay. okay i am still weeping about this man and his chickens. this tag is for every small creature who brings me delight. https://everychickdeservesamother.com/2019/08/17/all-the-good-there-is/
#thank god for the months after may — summer aesthetic tag
i haven’t listened to ben rector since i was seventeen but this is a good quote anyway and summer flowers are the thing that keep me going through the winter.
#the first sign of civilization is a healed femur — civilization/altruism/kindness tag
paraphrase of the famous (possibly apocryphal) margaret meade quote. i saw a criticism of it by the green brothers, who were like “but lots of people/animals show altruism without any connection to civilization (eg buildings and cities and record keeping systems)” and i deeply disagree with them. civilization doesn’t require monuments, only people coming together to build (metaphorically) something bigger than they could have done as individuals. humans aren’t the only ones on that path, just the ones who’ve gotten the furthest down it.
#the great sweeping wind — autumn aesthetic
yes i am a shameless l m montgomery stan. anne of green gables is my kindred spirit.
#the quick and the dead — fungi tag
from the bible. you know. we all sin, we’re all alive or dead or both. fungi don’t care.
#the race that knows joseph — kindred spirit tag
haven’t gotten to use this one yet. looking forward to when i do.
#the wild geese are heading home again — nature tag
shortened version of mary oliver’s poem.
#there is a history in all men’s lives — history/natural history/anthropology tag
shakespeare knew how to use words. everything is history and i am excited about ALL of it. when will someone admit me into a grad school???
#we are the children of an indifferent universe — community/fandom tag
but, like colin meloy says, we are also the inheritors of a wonderful world. i think it’s amazing how we look at the universe around us and build communities and find meaning out of sheer spite. also i have got to refine this tag set better i can’t just shove ALL fandom content into one tag. stay tuned
#we don’t love this world without reason — awe/joy tag
from catadromously’s comic. this is for things that make me go “oh.” when i see them.
#we shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us — architecture/interior design tag
churchill can have one right. architecture is one of my favorite art forms & interior design is something i love looking at and doing. someday i’ll even be able to afford it.
#we will be better than we were — recovery tag
from (yet another) caitlyn siehl poem that reads:
“love is quiet love whispers “it is okay, we will be better than we were” and we are. we are.”
and we are.
#within me; an invincible summer — winter aesthetic tag
albert camus wrote that: “in the midst of winter, i found there was, within me, an invincible summer. and that makes me happy. for it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.” winters are hard for me, but i hang on anyway.
#you have no idea the joy that is coming — love tag
guess who this quote is by? if you guessed caitlyn siehl, you are correct.
#you pull out the wild in me - feral aesthetic
not feral, just… wild. i don’t know. i don’t think i made this quote up but i can’t find it anywhere else so maybe i did. i’m guessing it’s now-deleted inkskinned or bonemeadows.
#you’ve got to be kind — misc humans tag
kurt vonnegut. because yeah. we’ve got to be kind. that’s the only rule. we’re just humans and we have to be kind.

#ThrillerLiveCloses #ApprovedByMJon2009
“Right now our world has been turned upside down, with a pandemic that is changing our way of life. It is affecting us all, financially, emotionally and socially. For me it has resulted in THRILLER LIVE closing prematurely (and permanently) in the West End, as all theatres around the country have been shut, in the public’s best interest. Myself and the rest of the team totally understand and respect that we must all practice social distancing, working together to beat this virus. But yesterday was a very sad day as I joined the cast, crew and other creatives at the Lyric Theatre for one last time. We wanted to come together to say goodbye to each other at the theatre that had become our home for the past 11-years. Ironically we were just two more performances away from becoming the 11th longest ever running show in the West End. Still to be 12th, and the longest ever running show at the Lyric Theatre is an incredible achievement. Another thing the coronavirus has shown us is that we never know what is around the corner and we shouldn’t take what we have for granted. Through hard times, we get to see what matters most and what we really need to value.
One of our cast members said that leaving the Lyric Theatre was like losing a loving partner. And that is partly true, in that sometimes you don’t appreciate what you have until it is gone. But I am sure that each and every one of the Thriller Live cast and crew will go on to great new ventures, just as previous associates have. It’s been an INCREDIBLE journey which has formed great friendships, partnerships and even relationships with babies to boot! For me it seems that things have gone full circle. For it was 30 years ago today (20th March 1990) when I first met the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and he inspired me to see a world of endless possibilities. He showed me humility, kindness and a laughter like I’d never heard before.
We were at Record One Studios where he was free and at his creative best, producing the ‘Dangerous’ album. Watching a genius at work, who since the age of 5 had been perfecting his craft to become the world’s greatest ever entertainer was a true privilege. And then came an invitation to lunch at Neverland. That was the most memorable weekend ever. I’d never seen a landscape and home so beautiful. A place where Michael could dream peacefully, and one could lose themselves in magical abandonment. Which I did playing on the arcades, riding on the funfair and watching movies in the theatre. Just before I left, as I walked out the oak door, Michael said come back anytime. And I did, at least once a year - return to Neverland, as did many lucky fans, and various charitable organisations that Michael opened his doors for, because he loved to give, help and see others happy. That was the Michael Jackson I knew - a humble, innocent soul, who also happened to be one of the greatest artists of all time. There are many, many other stories that I have shared over the years, and fans and friends will know. Each one of them still as colourful in my mind now as it was when I first lived them. I thank Michael for those memories, and even though he is gone, it has never felt like a goodbye.
From all of us at “Thriller Live”, we want to Thank everyone who came to see the Show in the West End. We are Grateful that we could keep Michael’s Legacy and Music alive through the production and cá look forward to continuing touring the world in years to come. Now here follows a long, long list of thanks to just a few of the many people who made the show possible in the West End. There has been literally hundreds of people involved on and off the stage, so apologies that I can’t list everyone, but each of you are just as important in making this show a special part of West End history ! Producers Paul Walden & Derek Nicol, Mark Strange – General Manager, Ginette Sinnott – Head of Marketing, and everyone else at Flying Music (past and present) – thank you for believing in the show and all you have done to make it a worldwide success.
•Gary Lloyd our amazing Director & Choreographer. I could write a book about his character and talent, so please go read his own ! John Maher our meticulous Musical Director extraordinaire. • Every single band member past and present including Damien Cooper, Oliver Latka, Ryan Alex Farmery, Adam Kovacs and Mike Bradley - the greatest compliment you can pay these guys, is that some audience members still ask if the show is ‘live’. Yes! Applause when screen goes back and our musicians are revealed ! • Yasmin Yazdi, Jo Dyce, Rose Wild and Aisling Duffy – our fierce Resident Directors and Assistant Choreographers whom over the years have put hundreds of cast members through their paces. • Sharon Speirs and Caroline Stroud, our two long running and outstanding Company Managers over the past 11-years. And thank you to others who stepped in. • Nigel Catmur – Lighting Designer, Chris Whybrow – Sound Designer, Jonathan Park – Set Designer, Rob Jones and Catherine Teatum – Costume Designers – thank you for making this show look and sound so great ! • Our hard-working crew – Dawn Harvey, Paul Bond, Glenn Jenkins, Sophie Kemp, Kelvin White, Bill Dimeo, Matthew Giles, Alice Johson, Sara Markwick, Gemma Tucker, Melissa Cooke, Karli Can Heerden, Inca Jaackson, Rosie Woods and Jo Conlon – thank you for being there every day and making the show possible. • Not forgetting dozens of former crew members from Becky Potts and Jessica Plews to Craig and Kate Garratt and many, many more. • A big shout out to Haydon Eshun and John Moabi, our longest running West End cast members. These two guys are stage legends, whose performances did Michael proud every single night. • Respect to Kevin Wilson PR for keeping our name up in lights and doing it always with the utmost enthusiasm. • Thank you to Debbie O'Brien Casting – the talent we have seen over the years has been incredible including Zoe Birkett, Hayley Evetts, Maria Lawson, Samantha Johnson Carter, Cleopatra Madonna, Britt Quentin, Alex Buchanan, Jerome Singer, Trenyce Cobbins, David Jordan, MiG Ayesa and so many more outstanding vocalists ! • We have also been blessed with hundreds of amazing dancers since 2006 and through to the end of this West End run. They, with the singers and musicians are the life blood of the show, which relies, not on massive production, but pure heart and soul to deliver the energy, authenticity and chemistry that was part of Michael Jackson. • Thank you Nica Burns at Nimax for giving us a home for 11-years, and all the staff at the Lyric Theatre for looking after us, and over 2 million audience members throughout the years. • Massive appreciation to Kerys Nathan, our original Director & Choreographer from 2006-2008. You’ll always be a part of the show. • Thank you to every single cast member from the original West End cast featuring Ben Forster, Roger Wright, Denise Pearson, Ricko Baird, Kieran Alleyne, Layton Williams (OFFICIAL), Sterling Williams, Lewis Davies, Kamilah Beckles, Christabelle Field, Elliot James, Earl Perkins, Emily Rumbles, Dannielle Rothman, Sean Williams, Ashton Russell, Ross Sands and Jordan Darrell, to our last with – Wayne Anthony-Cole, Vivienne Ekwulugo, David Julien, Miles Anthony, Florivaldo Mossi, Lauren Gore, Filippo Coffano, Leslie Garcia Brown, Deavion Brown, David Devyne, Mitchell Eley, Ike Fallon, Eliza Hart, Gabriela Hernandez, Amelia-Annie Layng, Arnold Mabhena, Rishard-Kyro Nelson, Oskarina O'Sullivan , Shola B Riley, Triple Calz, Cannon Hay, Isaiah Mason, Ishaan Raithatha and Messiah Unusudimi. • To everyone on our suspended touring production, and all those before which has seen us visit over 34 different countries, thank you, thank you and thank you again. We will see each other hopefully soon as we continue this journey. Until then stay safe, and don't eat too many pies, there is only one costume budget. •Apologies too many not named above, some whom I greatly admire and some whom I am proud to now call friends, you are all in my thoughts.
Lastly, and most importantly – thank you to MICHAEL JACKSON ! “THRILLER LIVE” is your Music, your Artistry and your Magic ! Thank you for your Inspiration , Love and Humanity . 🙏🏼
Dreams do come true — Adrian Grant .

Band of Brothers - The Office AU
A/N: I couldn’t stop thinking about this scene from The Office (the American version). Of course, all rights of this iconic and amazing scene go to the writers of The Office. I only own the horrible imagination that fueled the existence of this post. I don’t know why i wrote this. Inspired by this scene.
Synopsis: When the men of Easy Company learn how to administer CPR, everything goes wrong.
Tags: @gottapenny @dustyjjumpwings @higgles123 @croatianbagudna @wexhappyxfew @medievalfangirl @bandofmarvels
Dick isn’t sure who thought this was a good idea. It started with Eugene talking about how it would be great if everyone in the company knew how to administer first aid, specifically—CPR. At first, it sounded like a great idea. Eugene could teach the men of Easy Company, a paper sales company, how to administer it in an emergency. If someone were to get hurt or stop breathing, then everyone would know what to do. It was a great idea until it became a reality and everyone was sitting in the conference room watching a demonstration by Eugene, Lewis, and a dummy.
How and why Lewis volunteered to do the demonstration will always be a mystery to Dick. Lew never asked to do the demonstration, in fact, he was planning on skipping today because he thought it was a waste of his time, but here he is, kneeling in front of a dummy with a miserable look on his face. To make matters even worse, Lewis has never given CPR before. He almost gave mouth to mouth once, but he backed away once he realized that he had no idea what he was doing.
“So, assessing the situation—“ Eugene spoke in front of his peers, “are they breathin’?”
Lewis looked up at him like he had just asked the world’s stupidest question. “No, Eugene, they are not breathing, and they have no arms or legs.”
“No, that’s not part of it.”
“Where are they?” Dick could feel his soul leaving his body with every word Lewis spoke. This was going to be a disaster. “You know what? If we come across somebody with no arms and legs, do we bother resuscitating them? I mean, what kind of quality of life do we have there?”
Dike spoke, “I would want to live with no legs.”
“How about no arms?” Lewis replied back, his voice fueled with sass and everything wrong for this entire demonstration. “No arms or legs is basically how you exist right now, Norman, you don’t do anything.”
“Alright, so let’s get back to it,” Eugene said, trying to get his point across and get rid of the distractions, “‘cause you’re losin’ him.”
While Dike was busy trying to come to terms with what Lewis said, Lewis himself was now administering CPR to the dummy. His hands were in the correct position but he was pumping on the dummy’s chest way too fast. It was almost as if a ten year old was giving CPR.
“Okay, too fast,” Eugene said, clapping his hands together, “everyone, we need to pump at a pace of one hundred beats per minute.”
Lewis stopped and sighed, looking at the dummy both confused and stressed—a sight not ideal for a demonstration. “Okay, that’s hard to keep track. How many is that per hour?”
“How’s that gonna help you?” Dick asked.
“I will divide and account to it.”
“Right.”
“Okay, well a good trick is to pump to the tune of Stayin’ Alive by the Bee Gees,” Eugene said, before looking over to Lew. “Do you know that song?”
“Yes! Yes, I do. I love that song.” Finally, something he knew. Now, they were really starting to get into business. Lewis had some consensus on what they were doing, and everyone was finally getting interested once popular song had been mentioned. Lewis got back into form and started pumping his hands on the dummy. “First I was afraid, I was petrified…”
Oh God. Eugene intervened to help the poor man. “No, it’s Uh, uh, uh, uh, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive.”
“Oh, yeah. That’s right.”
Dick wanted to leave. He didn’t want to see the rest of the demonstration because he knew it was a lost cause from the start—it was already hard to see Lewis trying to give a good demo, but it was even worse when Lewis couldn’t even do the demo correctly.
Once Eugene helped Lewis into the correct form and the correct pace of pumping on the dummy’s chest by singing the song, everything seemed fine. For five seconds, Dick felt like the world was not going to explode. He felt his heart beat slow back down to normal and his body relax when he saw his friend finally get a hang of it.
“Uh, uh, uh, uh, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive. Uh, uh, uh, uh, stayin’ alive.”
Everybody was singing the song by the second time. It was more of a dull and unenthusiastic tone in the wrong with the addition of George, who was so into the song and the beat that he was the loudest person singing.
“Uh, uh, uh, uh, stayin’ alive—”
“Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk, I’m a woman’s man, no time to talk,” George sang, not even in his usual voice, he tried to sing the way it was sung in the recording. He didn’t even car if it didn’t go along with the demonstration, he just really liked the song. “Music loud and women warm, I’m been kicked around since I was born.”
Before Eugene, Dick, and everyone in Easy Company knew it, half of the company was up dancing and singing to the song. It was George who stood up first, getting into the groove with the song he was singing, and then Babe joined in with the dancing even though his dancing wasn’t really considered dancing it was more like a five year old trying to scratch his back. Then Lewis started dancing even though he was the one giving demonstration, closing in on Eugene with George and Babe as the entire company became a low quality choir with Dick sitting in the back wondering why he thought everything was going to be okay. This was Easy Company! Not some classroom full of eager to learn teenagers!
He felt bad for Eugene, though. He spent a lot of time preparing this demonstration, and the certified medic was actually pretty excited to show his co-workers what he does when he’s not selling paper for the company. He was so excited for the demonstration that he actually prepared his note cards and said the entire thing in front of a mirror for fifteen minutes before he left for work this morning.
“Yeah, okay,” Eugene spoke up, now visibly annoyed and irritated at how the demonstration failed, “you didn’t maintain a hundred beats per minute, and the ambulance didn’t arrive because nobody called nine-one-one, so you lost him.”
Dick knew this was coming. He was anticipating a long talk with the bosses, Sink and Marshall, on why the demonstration failed, but he was also dreading the look poor Eugene was going to be sporting all week at everyone because he prepared so long for this.
“Okay, he’s dead,” Ron stood up from his seat and walked up to the front, “does anyone know what we do next? Anybody? Eugene?”
Eugene looked confused and dumbfounded. “I have no idea.”
Bull raised his hand. “We bury him.”
“Wrong. Check for an organ donor card. If he has one, we only have minutes to harvest.”
“He has no wallet, I checked,” Harry said.
“He is an organ donor!” Lewis told Ron.
“He is?” Ron crouched down and started getting into business. “Give me some ice and a styrofoam bucket!” he told Liebgott before lifting up his pant sleeve to reveal a knife attached to his leg. How and why Ron has a knife—Dick doesn’t know and doesn’t want to know.
Everyone watched as Ron took the knife and stabbed it into the chest of the dummy, followed by a series of screams and loud gasps from the company.
“Ron!”
“Ron, what are you doing?”
“We search for the organs!” Ron said as he shoved his hand into the dummy’s now opened chest.
Meanwhile, Liebgott, who was standing right above Ron as he shoved his hand into the heart, started to feel nauseous from the sight of it. “I’m not feelin’ well, I need to sit down,” he mumbled as everyone came to his aid, helping him to sit down. They didn’t want anything bad to happen to their little hunchback of Notre Dame, so all of their undivided attention was focused on getting Joe to a seat to cool off while Ron was busy with the dummy.
When everybody turned back around to a sound Dick doesn’t not want to describe, they found Ron wearing the face of the dummy that he cut off. Bull gasped loudly and Babe almost screamed and before anyone knew it, Ron and Lewis were stuck in the office of Sink and Marshall hours after the disastrous demonstration.
“Tell me why you had to...cut the face off the dummy.”
Ron sighed. “I didn’t think it was very realistic in the movie, it turns out, it’s pretty realistic.”
“We had to pay for it! Cost us thirty five hundred dollars.”
“Three thousand five hundred dollars for a dummy?” Lewis asked, only to be shot a look of disappointment and unamusement by Sink. “Well, okay, look, Sink, this is why we have training. We start from the dummy and learn from our mistakes, and now Ron knows not to cut the face off of a real person.”

SEASON TWO: THE RETURN OF MM ANON😉
RIDDLE#7 CAN YOU KIDS BELIEVE IT IS THE 7TH RIDDLE ALREADY😮😮😮. 1535 HRS CST
💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊AS ALWAYS, THANK YOU MM ANON😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜
“ hi Kate , how wonderful to hear your voice “😂😂😂……
WELL GIVEN THE LAUGHING FACES AND THE USE OF KATE, FOR SOME CRAZY REASON THIS HAS TO BE MADAM TALKING TO CATHERINE. WHY I HAVE NO CLUE. HOWEVER, I CAN FEEL THE SARCASM OOZING OUT JUST FROM THE WORDS. AM I CRAZY? NO PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER THAT! WHY WOULD MADAM BE CALLING HER OR HAVE HER NUMBER EVEN? IS CATHERINE CALLING HER? BUT WHY WHY WHY?
OR IS IT HARRY BACK FROM AFRICA OR WHEREVER, BUT WHY THE LAUGHING FACES, UNLESS THIS IS TELLING US THEY HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT ALL ALONG SO THE NICE TO HEAR YOUR VOICE IS FACETIOUS. BUT KATE, THOSE CLOSE DO NOT CALL HER KATE, HER PREFERENCE IS CATHERINE AS THAT IS HER NAME.
Archificialy archificial.
WELL AS WE KNOW, THE AGREED UPON LIE FOR ARCHIFICIALS BIRTHDAY IS MAY 6TH, WHEN REALLY THE BIRTH WAS APRIL 25/2019. WE KNOW A BABY WAS BORN VIA SURROGATE, THE NYC SHOWER WAS PINK BUT WE WERE TOLD A BOY. SO THE POWERS THAT BE ARE NOT GIVING REAL SEX, LOCATION OR WHO IS THE CHILD WITH. WE ALSO DO NOT WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY WHOSE EGG AND WHOSE SPERM WERE USED. SO MOST OF WHAT WE KNOW IS 100% FAKE INCLUDING ALL THE PHOTOS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SA APPEARANCE OF AN ACTUAL BABY WHO SHOWED NO RELATIONSHIP OR FAMILIARITY WITH MADAM OR HARRY. SOME OF THE THINGS SHE DID WHILST THAT BABE WAS IN HER ARMS WERE SCARY. GOING UP THOSE STAIRS IN EIGHT IN HEELS CARRYING HIM, TOSSING HIM UP IN THE AIR, TUTU’S DAUGHTER WAS REASY TO CATCH SHE WAS SO CONCERNED. SQUEEZING HIS TUMMY HE WENT LIMP. HIS LEG BENT, NOT TENDING TO HIS DROOLING ETC. THAT WAS A FEW MINUTES SUPERVISED WITH A BABY, GOOD GOD IMAGINE HER ALONE WITH ONE. THERE ARE REASONS WHY HER FAMILY HAS SAID SHE SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT ALONE WITH A BABY.
I HAVE DIGRESSED HERE, ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ILLUSTRATING EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS ARTIFICIAL, FAKE BABY USED AT WINDSOR CASTLE, IN PAP WALK PICS.
SO THE BABY KNOWN AS ARCHFICIAL DOES NOT NOT NOT EXIST! SO AS HIS FAKE, YET AGAIN FAKE, BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW, TRADITION SAYS A PHOTOS OR PHOTOS WILL BE RELEASED. WE KNOW WITH CERTAINTY, IT WILL BE BLACK AND WHITE, PHOTOSHOPPED BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE CHILD, FUZZY, GRAINY, CLOSE UP OF HIS LEFT EYEBROW, RIGHT TOENAIL, EAR LOBE PERHAPS. BUT NOTHING REAL, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. SO WE WAIT FOR AN ARTIFICIAL PHOTO OF AN ARTIFICIAL CHILD. I TRULY PRAY THE REAL CHILD NEVER FINDS OUT THEY ARE ADOPTED AND WORSE YET FINDS OUT THEIR PARENTAGE.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
……… 🎼but sometimes,ya get what ya need🎼
MM FAVE TRS, THE ROLLING STONES. THIS IS ALL ABOUT LIFE, WE WANT WANT AND WANT, THINGS DO NOT MATERIALIZE. BUT THEN, LIFE HANDS US SOMETHING UNEXPECTED AND ITS EXACTLY WHAT WE TRULY NEED. I BELIEVE WE TRULY NEED THE TRUTH. HARRY NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO RETURN AND TRY TO REBUILD HIMSELF WITH THE MILITARY THAT HE LOVES AND HAS SERVED AND HAS BEEN SERVING COVERTLY THESE YEARS WITH MADAM, AS WELL AS WITH THE PUBLIC..
……… “ if you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue “………
THIS IS A RIFF OF THE SAYING IF YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HEAD SANE WHILST ALL THOSE ABOUT YOU HAVE LOST THE PLOT, YOU ARE DOING WELL.
IS THIS MADAM DOING PUBLIC APPEARANCES WHILST APPEARING OH, 🤣🤣🤣😂😂NO PLEASE, I CANNOT TYPE THE WORDS 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂 AND BE VIRTUOUS. WHAT!!
SHE MOST CERTAINLY PLANNING HER MASSIVE BOOK LAUNCH TOUR WHERE SHE WILL TELL THE WORLD HOW MEAN THE ROYAL FAMILY WAS TO HER, HOW RACIST THEY WERE AND EVERY OTHER LIE SHE CAN COME UP WITH.
IF ONLY THIS ANNOYING COVID WOULD GO AWAY RIGHT RACHEL?
a Duchess,a Duchess and a Duchess walked onto a bar………
OH DEAR THIS SHALL END BADLY. CAMILLA, CATHERINE AND MADAM. IF IT WERE NORMAL TIMES MAYBE THEY WOULD MEET FOR A DRINK🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂….NO WAY ON GODS GREEN EARTH WOULD THIS HAPPEN, NEVER. CAMILLA REFUSED TO ATTEND THE GATHERING OF UNHAPPY PEOPLE. AM I REMEMBERING RIGHT, A FEW DAYS AGO SHE DID A VIDEO I THINK, THE BACKGROUND OF THE ROOM WAS A PHOTO WITH MADAM EDITED OUT? PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WEONG PLEASE.
SO WHAT DOES THIS CLUE MEAN? THIS ALSO SAYS ONTO A BAR NOT INTO A BAR, SO ARE THEY GYMNASTS NOW??
THIS CLUE I JUST DO NOT GET AT ALL. OTHER THAN A CELEBRATORY COCKTAIL WHEN SHE IS GONE FOR GOOD.
tunc non transiet ………
OK THIS IS LATIN LEGAL TERMINOLOGY, FASCNIATING AS IT COULD APPLY A NUMBER OF WAYS, ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN.
💜💜💜LEGAL ANON WHERE ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU??!!💜💜💜
NUNC PRO TUNC, LATIN PHRASE, HOW I WISH I WERE FLUENT. THIS PHRASE IS REGARDING TO THE DATE OF EFFECT OF A JUSTICES RULE DECISION. IT IS WHETHER THE CROWN 🇨🇦, THE COURT RATHER, WE 🇨🇦CALL IT THE CROWN AS ALL CASES HER ARE AGAINST THE CROWN. THE DISCRETION IN THIS WHEN AN ORDER OR A JUDGEMENT IS RENDERED AND TO TAKE EFFECT, IT MAY BE ENTERED INTO THE COURT RECORD IN TWO WAYS. IT MAY BE ENTERED AS THE CURRENT DATE OR OR OR WAIT FOR IT, A DATE IN THE PAST!!!
AS FAR AS TRANSIET GOES, I FIND CROSSOVER, BORDERLINE AS MEANING. SO PUT THIS TOGETHER, LET ME THINK HERE….. ALSO MEANS NOT NOT LASTING, ENDURING OR PERMANENT, CHANGING OF A PREVIOUS DATE.
I WONDER AS I HAVE MENTIONED A FEW TIMES, HAS THE ANNULMENT IR DIVORCE BEEN DONE AGES AGO AND MADAM IS FAKELY KEEPING HER MARRIAGE AND CHILD ALIVE? AFTER RESEARCHING THESE TERMS IN THIS CLUE, I FEEL STRONGER THAN EVER DIVORCE OR ANNULMENT WAS DONE AT CANADA HOUSE, AND THE REASON FOR MADAMS FAUX THEATRE VISIT WHEN IN REALITY SHE HAD ALREADY BEEN AT HARBOTTLE AND LEWIS JUST ACROSS THE STREET. I FEEL AS STRONGLY ABOUT THIS AS I EVER HAVE, THESE CLUES ARE REINFORCING THIS IN ME. BELIEVE AS YE WILL.
THE REASON THEY MIGHT KEEP THIS SCHTÜM, IS THE MEN IN GREY, AND 👁👁 👁 👁 👁 ARE WORKING HAND IN HAND IN HAND IN HAND IN HAND SO TO SPEAK TO BRING TO JUSTICE, THE BACKERS, THE FUNDING OF THIS DECADES LONG MULTI PRONGED ATTACK TO TAKE OUT THE MONARCHY, ANTI CHRISTIAN, HMMM I REALLY HAVE GOTTEN INTO IT TODAY.
an infectious tube………
MILLIONS TAKE THE TUBE DAILY, LONDONS UNDERGROUND TRAVEL. EVEN WITH LOCKDOWN ORDERED THERE WERE STILL MANY ESSENTIAL WORKERS TAKING THE TUBE AND THEY REMAINED CROWDED. NO TWO METRES APART THAT IS FOR CERTAIN. SO INFECTIOUS SPREADING LIKE WILDFIRE ALREADY, JUST IMAGINE IT BEING CONTAINED IN THAT SPACE WITH ALL THOSE PEOPLE THAT ARE CARRIERS, IMMUNE, HAVE IT BUT DO NOT KNOW IT. WE ARE TALKING COVID-19 HERE. YES THIS WAS AMD WILL REMAIN VERY INFECTIOUS. SLOWLY UNLOCKING THE LOCKDOWN MEANS MORE PEOPLE USING THE TUBE, MORE RISK. IT IS A BEAR OF A THING TO MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT.
my my margarita ………
OTHER THAN WANTING ONE I HAVE NO CLUE THE MEANING OF THIS. IS THIS SOMEONES FAVOURITE COCKTAIL? A YACHT GIRL PERHAPS? I DONT KNOW. MY BRAIN IS DONE. TWO RIDDLES ONE DAY TOO MUCH .
let go let god. ……… ( and Thank skippy).
THE ETERNAL PHRASE OFT USED IN JEST BUT OFT USED IN SITUATIONS THAT ONE JUST DESPITE TRYING EVERYTHING THEY CAN SOMETHING JUST IS NOT WORKING AND THE SITUATION IS THERE STILL BAD AS EVER. THAT IS THE TIME MANY UTTER THE SAGE OLD ADVICE, LET GO AND LET GOD. MEANING TO GIVE IT TO GOD TO DEAL WITH. GOD IS DEALING WITH MADAM, AS WITH ALL OF US WHEN OUR TIME COMES. BUT GOD IS WORKING THROUGH THE GOOD SIDE, MADAM WILL SEE JUSTICE ⚖️ , WE SAW THE START OF AT THE HEARING LAST FRIDAY.
AS FAR AS OUR DEAR. 💜🐼💜, SHE IS A PRAYER WARRIOR LIKE NO OTHER. SHE IS A GO TO, IN ANY AND ALL SITUATIONS. SHE SUSSED MADAM OUT RIGHT AWAY AND BEGAN SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH IN EVIDENCE TO PROVE IT. AND HERE WE ARE, SO CLOSE. I TRULY BELIEVE SHE DESERVES AN OBE OR SOME KIND OF OFFICIAL MAYBE COVERT RECOGNITION OF HER YEARS OF THIS TWENTY FOUR HOURS A DAY KIDS!! NOW THAT IS DEDICATION AND LOYALTY TO THE OATH SHE TOOK. I STAND IN ADMIRATION AND BLESSED TO CALL YOU FRIEND.💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊😊🐼😊😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜

SEASON TWO:THE RETURN OF MM ANON😉
RIDDLE #8
💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊THANK YOU MM ANON😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
archificial anniversary ………
WELL TODAY IS THE AGREED UPON LIE, FAKE DATE OF FAKE BIRTHDAY OF FAKE CHILD, ARCHFICIALS BIRTHDAY. REAL BABY YES, APRIL 25/2019. WE HAVE ALL SEEN THE VIDEO BY NOW. I DID A SEPARATE REVIEW OF THAT, YOU CAN READ IF YOU LIKE. THE CHOICE OF BOOK FASCINATES ME, BECAUSE A NARCISSIST SPENDS HER LIFE BEING SOMETHING OTHER THAN SHE IS, LIES, PR, SO SIMILAR TO THE PLOT OF THAT CHILDRENS BOOK. IS IT A DUCK IS IT A RABBIT, IS SHE PREGNANT OOPS NO, ETC ETC. I FEEL SICK FOR THE BABY USED IN THIS VIDEO. FOR GOD’S SAKE, IF THIS IS NOT HUMAN TRAFFICKING, I TRULY DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO CALL IT. SHE GAVE MORE THAN WE HAD EXPECTED BUT ALWAYS WITH HER, NOTHING EVER MAKES SENSE. SHE DRESSED ULTRA CASUAL, HIM IN A ONESIE AND NAPPY. NO COMPANY WANTED TO MERCH ARCHIES FORST YEAR BIRTHDAY OUTFIT?? I THINK MORE LIKE SHE JUST DOES NOT DO DETAILS EVER. I TRULY FEEL ILL, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE SEEN A BEAUTIFUL CHILD MERCHED, LIKE HE IS A THING, A COMMODITY, HIGHLY EXTREMELY DISTURBING TO ME.
“she hasn’t a bloody clue “ ………
SHE DEMONSTRATES NO MATERNAL INSTINCT OR BEHAVIOUR. WHILST READING TO ‘HER ‘ CHILD ON HIS FAKE FIRST BIRTHDAY. ONE WOULD THINK, IN ADDITION TO ALL MY COMMENTS ALREADY MADE ABOUT THE VIDEO, SHE WOULD HAVE SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HIM, HAD A CUTE HAT, BALLOONS SOMETHING. BUT NOTHING, SHE REALLY TRULY HAS NO CLUE, NONE AT ALL!!
I speak for Meghan ………
WELL, IS THERE A HEARING TODAY? I JUST READ THERE WAS. THIS WOULD DEFINITELY BE DAVID SHERBORNE WHO SHE HAS HIRED FOR THE MOS LAWSUIT. SHE IS SO EVIL, SHE USES THE SAME CHAP THAT THE LATE PRINCESS DIANA USED. HOW SICK IS THAT? I WONDER IF LEGAL REPRESENTATION IS REQUIRED REGARDING ANY POSSIBLE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES IN ADDITION TO THE MOS ISSUE.
🎼he’s a real nowhere man🎼………
CLASSIC BEATLES SONG ABOUT A CHAP WHO HAS NO MOTIVATION, NO GOALS, NO IDEA, NOTHING IN LIFE. IS THIS DADDY MARKLE?? GOING NOWHERE FAST. ALLEGEDLY SWITCHED SIDES TO TESTIFY AGAINST MADAM , WILL HE REALLY?
TRULY THIS COULD BE MA, BECAUSE I HAVE NOT READ OR SEEN ANYTHING ABOUT HIM IN AGES. IT IS LIKE HE HAS LEFT THE PLANET. HE IS EITHER IN HIDING OR WITNESS PROTECTION, BUT HIM, NOW THERE IS A NOWHERE MAN FULL STOP!
“ the fool doth think he is wise…… “…………
CLASSIC ROCK, SHAKESPEARE BUT NO LATIN TODAY HMMMMMMM, MM ANON, YOU CONFUSE ME😁😁BUT THEN AGAIN I AM SO VERY EASILY CONFUSED OR IS IT AMUSED??🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
THE BARD,THE PLAY, A VETY FUN ONE CALLED AS YOU LIKE IT. I HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN THIS ON STAGE AND SEVERAL SCREEN PRODUCTIONS FROM THE STAGE.
ONE KNOWS ONE’S STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES. BETTER TO BE THOUGHT A FOOL THAN TO SPEAK AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT.🙃🤣😂😂 SO A FOOL AKA NARCISSIST THINKS THEY KNOW IT ALL, WHILE TELLING SO MANY LIES THEY CANNOT KEEP TRACK BUT THEY DO NOT CARE. A WISE PERSON, NON NARCISSIST, KNOWS THEY ARE IMPERFECT AND HAVE FLAWS.
MADAM, I BELIEVE, HER ENTIRE LIFE HAS BEEN RAISED WITH A SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT AND BECAME THIS NARCISSISTIC EVIL PERSON. SELF SELF SELF SND SELF ALWAYS AND ONLY SELF.
🎼come fly with me (not)🎼………
GREAT SINATRA SONG, SO SOMEONE IS JETTING OFF BUT ONLY IN JEST. I THINK THIS IS PART OF THE MANIPULATION HARRY IS DOING WITH MADAM IN HER HOSPITAL ROOM. SAYING THEY CAN FLY AWAY TO AMERICA. TRYING TO GET THE LAST EVIDENCE FROM HER. THE SHOE TRULY IS ON THE OTHER FOOT TO STAY NOW!!
A few weeks more …………
ARE YOU TELLING US MM ANON, JUST A FEW MORE WEEKS UNTIL GAME OVER?? I MOST ASSUREDLY HOPE AND PRAY TIS SO🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
“we do the outside first Philip” ……… Bloody jigsaw………” Sydney!!!!! “……… “ Mmmmm , interesting, a virtual Balcony “ …
NOW THIS IN INTERESTING, HRH HIMSELF, IS GETTING RIGHT CABIN FEVER AND TAKING ON A PROJECT. SOME SORT OF RENOVATION, WOOD REQUIRED AND THE USE OF A JIGSAW WHICH APPARENTLY IS HIVING THEM A BIT OF TROUBLE, HENCE HIS YELLING FOR SYDNEY TO COME HELP. I BELIEVE THIS MUST BE AT WOOD FARM🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 CAN YOU JUST SEE THEM ALL, HIMSELF IN HIS OUTDOOR CLOTHES, HMTQ IN SKIRT, SWEATER AND SCARF, SYDNEY IN HIS VALET SUIT🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂THEY ARE BUILDING AN INDOOR OUTDOOR SPACE. THIS IS MARVELLOUS, VIRTUAL BALCONY. GOOD LUCK GETTING THAT DONE! I WOULD PAY MONEY TO WATCH THIS SCENE FOR REAL!😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣☺️☺️☺️
“ yes , a new medal is appropriate” …………
FIRST THING I SAY THIS IS FOR OUR 💜🐼💜🙏🏻.
HOWEVER, AS YOU ALL KNOW, FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME NOW I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING FROM THE RAFTERS THAT HARRY IS ON SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT FOR HMTQ. HE HAS BEEN COVERTLY OVERT TRYING TO GET ALL THE EVIDENCE NEEDED TO PUT HER TO JUSTICE FINALLY, NOT JUST HER BUT THOSE WHO HELPED, THOSE WHO PLANNED AND THOSE WHO FUNDED THIS STTACK ON OUR BELOVED ROYAL FAMILY. I CONCUR, ONCE ALL IS DONE, TRITH IS KNOWN AND ACKNOWLEDGED. HMTQ WILL BE FREE TO SPEAK, I AM SURE MANY DETAILS WILL HAVE TO REMAIN SEALED. I FEEL CERTAIN THERE WILL BE AN OFFICIAL BESPOKE MEDAL FOR OUR HARRY.
unlockdown!!! …………
I WILL SAY THIS COULD BE COVID, ONCE THINGS ARE STABLE, THE TRUTH WILL BE REVEALED.
OR IF I HARKEN BACK A FEW RIDDLES, MADAM WAS ON MENTAL HEALTH LOCKDOWN. THIS HAS THREE EXCLAMATION MARKS, SO ITS VERY IMPORTANT.
“ give us a hug”.
FINALLY AFTER WEEKS OF LOCKDOWN, HMTQ CAN RECEIVE HUGS AND GIVE THEM. EVERYONE FOR THAT MATTER. THE BIGGEST HUG WILL BE FOR HARRY. PUBLICLY ENSCONCED SURROUNDED BY THE LOVE OF HIS FAMILY.
STAY STRONG HARRY, KEEP THE FAITH, WE BELIEVE IN YOU 100% YOU ARE LOVED AND PRAYED FOR. 💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊PG😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜

MAY 7/2020
1333HRS CST. RIDDLE #9
💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊THANK YOU MM ANOM😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜
SpiderSandwiches …………
CATHERINE WAS BEING INTERVIEWED ON GOOD MORNING BRITAIN. THE FEMALE PRESENTER WAS ENQUIRING ABOUT KEEPING THE CHILDREN EDUCATED AND ENTERTAINED, AS SHE SAID SHE ALSO HAS THREE CHILDREN. CATHERINE LAUGHED AND MENTIONED A FEW THINGS, ONE WAS GEORGE WANTING TO MAKE SPIDER SANDWICHES. I KID YOU NOT! IT WAS HILARIOUS. SHE LOOKED LOVELY IN A YELLOW FLORAL DRESS.
the photographic phenomenon …………
CATHERINE AS PATRON OF THE ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY. WE ALL KNOW THE OUTSTANDING PHOTOGRAPHER SHE IS. I LOVE THE PHOTOS OF THE CHILDREN THEY SHARE WITH US BECAUSE THEY ARE TAKEN WITH LOVE BY THEIR MOTHER AND THE RELATIONSHIP IS VERY MUCH REFLECTED IN THE PHOTOS. CHARMING!
CATHERINE, ALONG WITH THE SOCIETY IS PLANNING AN EXHIBIT CALLED, HOLD STILL. THIS WILL BE PEOPLE SUBMITTING PHOTOS THEY HAVE TAKEN DURING THE PANDEMIC TO CAPTURE THE EXPERIENCE. I BELIEVE THEY ARE LOOKING AT AN EXHIBIT OF 100 PHOTOGRAPHS. WHAT A TOUGH JOB IT WILL BE TO MAKE THOSE CHOICES. WHAT AN AMAZING EXHIBIT IT WILL BE.I HOPE THEY DO A BOOK OF THEM FOR CHARITY.
“O Christ, she knows her way round a Cannon”
THIS IS ODD, CANON IS A CAMERA, BUT CANNON IS A WEAPON. THE WAY THIS IS WORDED IS NOT POSITIVE AT ALL. THIS IS REFERRING TO MADAM AND ALOT OF SHIPS HAD CANNONS. I WONDER IF THAT IS THE MEANING HERE. VERY FACETIOUSLY SEXUAL COMMENT, I WONDER IF THERE WERE A WEAPON IN THE PORN VIDEOS. CANNON CAN BE STREET LINGO FOR A LARGE HANDGUN.
“ modest, small and incremental “ ………
THE UNLOCKING OF THE COVID LOCKDOWN WILL HAVE TO BE THIS WAY, AS WE IN 🇨🇦ARE DOING. KEEPING IN MIND ANY UPTICK OR SPIKES OF ILLNESS OR NEW BREAK OUTS MAY NECESSITATE GOING BACK A STEP.
“ she’s still spitting bullets over the duchesses children “ ………
WELL THIS HAS TO BE MADAM. CRICKETS OVER THE VIDEO YESTERDAY COMPARED TO ANYTHING CAMBRIDGE CHILDREN RELATED, EVEN CATHERINE ON A MORNING TV SHOW TALKING ABOUT THEM. THEY ARE SOOOOOO BELOVED, ALL OF THEM.
“ my goodness, Charlotte trumps everyone”. …………
CHARLOTTE’S POPULARITY IS SKYROCKETING , LET ME REPHRASE HAS SKYROCKETED. IT WENT HIGHER HER FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL WHEN HER HAIR FLIP TRENDED WORLDWIDE. THE PHOTOS RELEASED FOR HER RECENT BIRTHDAY SHOWED HER, IN THE ACT OF GIVING…..THE SKY IS THE LIMIT?? NO WAY THE UNIVERSE , TO QUOTE MY BUDDY BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!!
another modest outfit. ………
THIS IS THE DRESS I REFERRED TO A FEW CLUES BACK. LOVELY YELLOW FLORAL DRESS WORN BY CATHERINE FOR THE TV INTERVIEW. SHE JUST NEVER PUTS A FOOT WRONG AND SO MARVELLOUSLY FULLY COME INTO HER OWN IN HER ROLE. SHE IS MARVELLOUS!
the books a flop, who would buy it? ………
FINDING FREEDOM, 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂AGAIN AS I SAID THE OTHER DAY, MADAM SHOULD HAVE SAVED THAT TITLE ONCE THE ORANGE JUMPSUIT TIME IS 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂COMPLETED. NOBODY CARES ABOUT HER. IF SHE STARTS SPEWING HATRED, LIES ABOUT HMTQ AND THE CAMBRIDGES, I CAN ONLY BEGIN TO IMAGINE THE WORLDWIDE RAGE.
“ dada duck duck”…………
IN THE READING VIDEO RELEASED YESTERDAY, I DID A SEPARATE REVIEW YESTERDAY, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. SO, WAS THE CHILD SAYING DADA OR DUCK DUCK NEAR THE END OF THE VIDEO? MADAM WAS VERY QUICK TO TALK OVER HIM SAYING DUCK DUCK. I BET IN HER HEAD SHE WAS RHYMING ANOTHER WORD🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂!
“ANOTHER sex tape!!!!! “……………
GOODNESS, DEARIE ME, SAY IT IS NOT SO. NOTHING WOULD SURPRISE ME, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING AS 🐼ALWAYS SAYS. 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮. THE REFERENCE CLUE A FEW RIDDLES BACK WAS P****HUB, REFERENCING A PORNOGRAPHIC WEBSITE. DISGUSTING.
her irrelevant life…………
SHE, WITH ALL HER MACHINATIONS, SELLING SELF ETC ETC ETCHAS RENDERED HERSELF COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. THE ANNULMENT, MY BELIEF, OR DIVORCE WAS DONE CANADA HOUSE DAY, AND THE VISIT TO THE THEATRE AKA HARBOTTLE AND LEWIS🤣🤣🤣😂😂 THE NEXT DAY. DONE AND DUSTED IN THAT REGARD. SHE IS JUST BEING WORLDWIDE LAUGHED AT AND COMMENTS ABOUT NO MOTHERING SKILLS. NOW THIS USE OF MERCHING A BABY SHOULD BE A CRIME. IT REALLY BOTHERED MY SOUL YESTERDAY, AFTER WATCHING IT, I STILL FEEL 😳DISTURBED 😧 ABOUT IT ACTUALLY ☹️
desperately seeking ANYTHING…………
YES SHE HAS NO 🍌 SHE HAS NO BANANAS TODAY. WHO REMEMBERS THAT SONG? SHE IS BANANAS. SHE HAS NO OFFERS OTHER THAN LIKELY PORN. SHE HAS ALLEGEDLY BEEN REACHING OUT TO OTHER EUROPEAN FAMILIES WEEKS AGO. THERE IS NO ACTING WORK OR ANY WORK AT ALL. PEOPLE REALLY ARE SEEING THE VILE HUMAN BEING SHE IS AND HOW MANY HAVE SUFFERED THE INFAMOUS MARKLE EFFECT.
a sad demise Rachael!!
YES, ⚖️ JUSTICE IS NIPPING AT HER HEELS. HER FUTURE IS LOOKING VERY DIM. THERE IS NO SAFETY NET AT ALL. SHE MADE THE CHOICES OF HOW TO LIVE HER LIFE, TREAT PEOPLE HORRIDLY , AND IMHO TREASON, PLUS HOBBIES, MERCHING, THE IRS ETC ETC ETC. THE CLUE IN A PREVIOUS RIDDLE. LET GO AND LET GOD.

I AM IN TEARS JUST READING AND ARRANGING THE PIECES OF THE RIDDLE TO WORK ON. FABULOUS MM ANON 💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻😊PG😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜
The Queen, god bless her………
HMTQ GAVE HER MESSAGE FROM WINDSOR CASTLE, I WAS BLESSED TO SEE IT ON BBC WORLD. I REALLY WANT SOMEONE TO PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION OF THE PINS SHE WORE. I COULD NOT QUITE SEE.
GOD BLESS HMTQ INDEED🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. SHE IS AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING. LIVING HISTORY REALLY. HEARING HER SPEAK OF THAT DAY, THE BALCONY AND THEN THE PRINCESSES GOING AMONGST THE CROWDS. HUMAN RESOLVE AND THE NEED TO CONNECT AFTER YEARS OF DARKNESS, FEAR, DEATH, POURED ONTO THE STREETS, SINGING, DANCING, NAE BOTHER IF STRANGER OR FRIED, IN FACT STRANGERS WERE FRIENDS IN THOSE MOMENTS. A FELLOW HUMAN SOUL WHO HAD LIVED THROUGH THE SAME HELL. HER MESSAGE TODAY WAS PHENOMENAL. SHE HAS SUCH A WISE, CALMING, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND REASSURING PRESENCE. I THANK YOU, YOUR MAJESTY.
THE OTHER QUEEN, IS HER MUM, HRH THE QUEEN MOTHER WHO WAS QUEEN DURING THOSE YEARS. ONE HELL OF A STRONG SCOTTISH 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 WOMAN. STRONG AS STEEL, THE PART OF THE TEAM, ALONG WITH HER HUSBAND, KING GEORGE VI. THEY BUOYED THE COUNTRY, TRULY GOD SENDS, ORDAINED BY GOD SND THEY STAYED! DID WALKABOUTS AMONG RUBBLE, REALLY TRULY AMAZING.
I SAY PLEASE, PLEASE, P L E A S E, IF YOU HAVE NEVER WATCHED THE KING’S SPEECH AND LOVE OUR ROYALS YOU NEED TO SEE THAT FILM. HELENA BONHAM QUIRLY CSRTER PLAYED THE QUEEN MUM, COLIN FIRTH THE KING AND GEOFFREY RUSH THE THERAPIST. THE ABUSE HE, THE KING, SUFFERED AS A CHILD CAUSING HIS SPEECH IMPEDIMENT. blackout ………
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE FILM MRS MINIVER?? GREER GARSON, PLAYS AN ENGLISH WIFE AND MOTHER DURING THAT TIME. ITS A MUST SEE. IT IS NOT DONE CHEESY LIKE , ITS AMAZING. I DID NOT CARE FOR THE SEQUEL HOWEVER.
NO LIGHTS AFTER DARK, THE LUFTWAFFE BOMBED AND BOMBED AND BOMBED LONDON. AIR RAID SIRENS BLARING, PEOPLE RUNNING TO DESIGNATED SHELTERS. VOLUNTEER AIR RAID WARDENS. BLACK FABRIC AGAINST ALL THE WINDOWS. NOTHING, NO CANDLE NOTHING. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. EVERY!!! SINGLE!!! NIGHT!!! LAYING IN BED JUST TENSE WAITING FOR THE AIR RAID SIRENS TO GO OFF……..YEARS OF THAT…,…..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
the king/ the Queen the nation ………
ABSOLUTELY, AS I WROTE ABOVE, THE QUEEN MOTHER WAS STALWART, RIGHT BESIDE KING GEORGE VI. SHE BUOYED HIM UP, WHAT A TEAM THEY WERE. AND HERSELF ALWAYS LOOKING GORGEOUS, WALKING AMONGST RUBBLE, REFUSING TO LEAVE HER HUSBAND, REFUSING TO LEAVE THE PALACE IN LONDON. SHE ALSO BUOYED THE NATION WHILST HE RULED AND GOODNESS KNOWS ALL HE WAS PRIVY TO. WHAT A TEAM GOD SENT FOR THE EXACT TIME. WALLACE SIMPSON, LOVE HER OR HATE HER, SHE CHANGED THE COURSE OF HISTORY, FOR THE ABSOLUTE BETTER!!
never give up, never despair ………
THE ROYAL MOTTO, ALL FOR FREEDOM. SETTING STRONG ROLE MODELS, AND THE TWO PRINCESSES, REALLY HELPED PEOPLE COPE. MANY SENT THEIR CHILDREN OUT OF LONDON FOR SAFETY BECAUSE OF THE BOMBINGS. HMTQ, GOD BLESS HER, SHE BECAME A MECHANIC!!!
ALWAYS THAT FIGHTING SPURIT, KEEP A STIFF UPPER LIP, TIME FOR CRYING LATER, NOW ITS TIME TO FIGHT AND DO WITH KESS OF EVERYTHING FOR THE WAR EFFORT.
the home front………
THIS ACTUALLY WAS A TV SHOW, CANT RECALL WHERE BUT IT WAS SET AT THST TIME. THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN, GRANDPARENTS OR MEN AND WOMEN WHO FOR WHATEVER THE REASON COULD NOT NOT MEET MILITARY REQUIREMENTS, STILL SERVED THE WAR EFFORT.
THE WOMEN KEPT THE HOMES FIRES BURNING AS THE PHRASE GOES, TILL THEIR HUSBANDS, SWEETHEARTS, BROTHERS, FATHERS CAME HOME.
MANY WOMEN WORKED IN MUNITION PLANTS MAKING WEAPONS OR MISSILES, ANYTHING THAT WAS NEEDED.
THINGS WERE RATIONED, THEY HAD TO MAKE DUE, SUGAR, BUTTER, FLOUR, MEAT. EVERYTHING HAS TO GO FOR THE WAR EFFORT. THE WOMEN FILLED SO MANY ROLES AND HAD TO DEAL WITH BABIES, CHILDREN, AIR RAIDS, TERRIBLE FEAR FOR THEMSELVES,THEIR CHILDREN, FAMILY AND ESPECIALLY ALL THE MEN AND HUSBANDS, WOMEN AND WIVES EHO WERE “OVER THEE”. GREAT OLD WAR SONG
🎼some sunny day 🎼…………
VERA LYNN AND MUSIC HELPED SOOTHES THE SAVAGE BEASTS EVERYONE WAS DEALING WITH. IT IS READILY AVAILABLE ON WIKI SO HERE IT IS….MUSIC, OLD WAR SO GS, WWI PACK UP YOUR TROUBLES IN YOUR OKD KIT BSG AND SMILE SMILE SMILE, WHILE YOURE A LUCIFER TO LIGHT YOUR FAG SMILE BOYS THATS THE STYLE………….USED TO SO G THAT WITH ELDERLY PATIENTS WHO HAD SERVED. MUSIC TRULY IS THERAPY.💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻…I AM IN TEARS AGAIN…😢😢😢😢
🔥 ALWAYS LUCIFER WAS A LIGHTER 🔥
🚬 FAG IS A CIGARETTE. 🚬 THATS WHAT I HAVE CALLED THEM MY ENTIRE LIFE MY DAD DID, NOW ITS BEEN PERVERTED, I HATE THAT.
See lyrics to Till We Meet Again…Vera Lynn
Drive the dark…
AFTER HMTQ MESSAGE TONIGHT, EVERYONE WHO COULD WENT OUT INTO THE STREETS TO SING THIS SONG, SO CENTRAL TO THE TIME. I READ DAME JOAN COLLINS WAS GOING TO LEAD IT FROM HER BALCONY. I SAW IT ON BBC WORLD, THEY SHOWED LONDON AND NUMEROUS PLACES LIVE. I PVR’ED IT. SO UNBELIEVABLY EMOTIONAL…..
NOT THAT IT IS ANYWHERE NEAR THE SANE THING BUT COVID-19 HAS SHOWN US HOW IN A SPLIT SECOND THE WORLD AS WE KNEW FLIPPED AND CHANGED IN A WAY NOBODY COULD HAVE IMAGINED.
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧………… 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸……… 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦………
BOY IT WAS A TEAM EFFORTS, SO MANY FRONTS, RUSSIAN, RÖMMEL THE DESERT FOX, GERMAN GENERAL IN NORTH AFRICA, JAPAN BROUGHT AMERICA FULLY INTO THE WAR AFTER THEY WERE ATTACKED ON DECEMBER 7/1941. KIDS I KNOW SO MUCH WWII HISTORY.
IT LITERALLY TOOK THE WORLD BANDING TOGETHER TO DEFEAT THE SATANIC EVIL THAT WAS NOT ONLY INVADING OTHER COUNTRIES AND CAUSING WAR BUT MY GOD, THE EXTERMINATION CAMPS…..AUSCHWITZ, BERGENBELSEN AND MANY MANY MORE. IF YOU GO ONLINE TO THE HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL, YOU CAN SEE AND READ MILLIONS OF STORIES OF MURDERED PEOPLE.
and all who fought ………
ALL WHO FOUGHT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. AS THE GENERATIONS PASS, WE MUST CONTINUE TO BE MINDFUL AND REMEMBER HOW OUR FREEDOM WAS OBTAINED. AS WINSTON CHURCHILL SAID “THOSE WHO FAIL TO LEARN FROM HISTORY ARE CONDEMNED TO REPEAT IT.”
a day like no other………
A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY. D DAY, JUNE 6/1944,. THE ALLIED FORCES HAD A MULTI-PRONGED ATTACK PLAN INVASION THOUSANDS KILLED BEFORE THEY EVEN GOT ONTO THE BEACH
I AM CRYING AGAIN. 😢😢😢IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, STEADY ON AND WATCH IT, YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. THEY HAD ACTUAL VETERANS FROM NORMANDY ADVISING. THE SCENE OF THE TENSION AND THE SHIPS APPROACH THE BEACH KNOWING FULL WELL THERE WERE SNIPERS…..THAT SCENE AND THAT FILM CHANGED ME FOREVER.
I ALSO HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND BAND OF BROTHERS. THE AIR FIGHTING SCENES ARE PHENOMENALLY DONE, IT PUTS YOU RIGHT THERE. IT IS DONE IN SEPARATE CHAPTERS /EPISODES, A BIT SIMILAR MEN. THE EPISODE “WHY WE FOUGHT” ITS UNBEARABLY EXCRUCIATING TO WATCH. SOME AMERICAN SOLDIERS, GOD BLESS THEM, COME UPON AN ABANDONED CAMP, WALKING SKELETONS…. THEY RAN TO TELL THEIR COMMANDING OFFICERS….YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW THE REST OF THE EPISODE GOES.
at the going down of the sun and in the morning ……………… ‘ we shall remember them.
THIS IS A TIME FOR CUT AND PASTE, I AM WEEPING😢😢😭😭
The GreatWar 1914-1918
For the Fallen
Robert Laurence Binyon, by artist William Strang. (1)
Poem by Robert Laurence Binyon (1869-1943), published in The Times newspaper
Plaque unveiled in 2003 at Polzeath to commemorate the place where For the Fallen is believed to have been composed. (2)
Laurence Binyon composed his best known poem while sitting on the cliff-top looking out to sea from the dramatic scenery of the north Cornish coastline. A plaque marks the location at Pentire Point, north of Polzeath. However, there is also a small plaque on the East Cliff north of Portreath, further south on the same north Cornwall coast, which also claims to be the place where the poem was written.
The poem was written in mid September 1914, a few weeks after the outbreak of the First World War. During these weeks the British Expeditionary Force had suffered casualties following its first encounter with the Imperial German Army at the Battle of Mons on 23 August, its rearguard action during the retreat from Mons in late August and the Battle of Le Cateau on 26 August, and its participation with the French Army in holding up the Imperial German Army at the First Battle of the Marne between 5 and 9 September 1914.
Laurence said in 1939 that the four lines of the fourth stanza came to him first. These words of the fourth stanza have become especially familiar and famous, having been adopted by the Royal British Legion as an Exhortation for ceremonies of Remembrance to commemorate fallen Servicemen and women.
Laurence Binyon was too old to enlist in the military forces but he went to work for the Red Cross as a medical orderly in 1916. He lost several close friends and his brother-in-law in the war.

SEASON TWO: THE RETURN OF MM ANON 😉
RIDDLE#11. 1730 HRS CST
💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊THANK YOU DEAR MM ANON😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜
“ it’s an unlock Jim, but not as we know it “………
WE HAD A CLUE VERY SIMILAR TO THIS LAST SEASON…..ITS HIM JIM BUT NOT AS WE KNEW HIM….IF I RECALL CORRECTLY FROM MANY MONTHS AGO, AND I DO NOT FEEL LIKE CRUISING THROUGH THE ARCHIVES RIGHT NOW🤣🤣🤣😂😂. JIM, IS CAPTAIN JAMES T. KIRK, STARSHIP ENTERPRISE, CLASSIC TV SHOW FROM THE 1960’s IT HAS HAD SUCH A MASSIVE WORLD IMPACT, STILL SPAWNING FILMS AND THE NEWEST TV SHOW WITH DARLING PATRICK STEWART 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰CALLED STAR TREK: PICARD, WHICH IS AWESOME BY THE WAY AND I NORMALLY HATE PROCEDURAL TELEVISION SHOWS.
AN UNLOCK, IS TO OPEN, BUT NOT THE USUAL WAY, A WAY TO ACCESS VITAL INFORMATION BUT IN A ROUNDABOUT NOVEL WAY. NOT REGULAR EVIDENCE OR SOMEONE SPILLING THE BEANS SO TO SPEAK. LG AND HIS TEAM HAVE FIGURED OUT A WAY TO GATHER THE FINAL, NAIL IN THE PROVERBIAL COFFIN, SO TO SPEAK, IN THE LEGAL MATTER OF BRINGING EVERYONE TO JUSTICE AND RIDDING HARRY AND THE ROYAL FAMILY, AND ALL OF US OF MADAM,,HER CRONIES AND BACKERS. SCALES ⚖️ JUSTICE.
on yer bike………
YER IS SPELLT THE SCOTTISH WAY. IS HARRY UP AT BALMORAL WITH CHARLES AND CAMILLA? OH YES I WOULD BET MONEY ON IT! BY THE WAY, HOW AMAZING DID CHARLES AND CAMILLA LOOK YESTERDAY, MY MY MY, WHEN SHE LOOKED UP TO HEAVEN OH I HAD TEARS. I HAVE POSTULATED THIS BEFORE. I TRULY CAN SEE HIM BIKING AROUND, PEOPLE WOULD JUST LEAVE HIM BE. SCOTLAND IS ITS OWN UNIQUE LIVE AND LET LIVE. I CAN TOTALLY SEE THIS.
🎼that’s life,……🎼…………
ANOTHER GREAT SINATRA SONG, YOU’RE LOVING SINATRA NOW EH DEAR MM ANON? NEVER NOT A GREAT TIME FOR OLE BLUE EYES HIMSELF. I LOVE HIM, HE HAD SUCH A UNIQUE WAY OF PHRASING, THE VOICE LIKE A FINE SINGLE MALT, SMOOTH…DELICIOIS… THIS SONG IS ABOUT A GRIFTER, TRYING ALL SORTS OF THINGS IN LIFE NEVER QUITE MAKING IT BUT RESIGNED TO ACCEPTING THAT IS JUST THE WAY LIFE IS. NOW NOWHERE DOES IT SPEAK OF TREASON, SURROGATE, FAUXMEGNANCY, YOU GET WHERE I AM GOING. MADAM , HER CLAN, AND HER GANG OF ‘FRIENDS/BESTIES’ GIVE GRIFTING A WHOLE BRAND NEW MEANING. THIS HAS TO BE THE CON OF A THOUSAND YEARS, GRIFTING, LYING, OBFUSCATING, MANIPULATING, ALL ALLEGEDLY OF COURSE BECAUSE WE ARE HAVING FUN STORY TELLING HERE, THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT RIGHT!! HYPOTHETICALLY, A CON OF THIS NATURE, WHEN THE LAW COMES A- CALLING , 👁 👁 👁 👁 👁, GREY SUITED GENTLEMEN, ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE, I HAD TO GET A BOND REFERENCE IN HERE. DID YOU KNOW THAT FILM WAS THE ONLY TIME THAT GEORGE LAZENBY PLAYED 007. BOND WAS HAPPILY MARRIED HIS WIFE WAS MURDERED BY SPECTRE?? MY MEMORY NOT SURE NOW BY WHO BUT IT SET UP THE WHOLE FUTURE FOR BOND DOING ANYTHING RISKING HIS LIFE FOR JUSTICE.
THERE HAVE BEEN MANY REAL BONDS WHO HAVE RISKED AND LOST THEIR LIVES ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE AND MANY WHO CONTINUE TO. MADAM WILL NEVER EVER STOP BEING THE NARCISSIST THAT SHE IS AND WILL FOREVER BELIEVE SHE IS A VICTIM. THOSE WHO SERVE THE SIDE OF JUSTICE ARE JUST AS LASER FOCUSED, EXCEPT FOR THE GOOD NOT SELFISH EVIL. JUSTICE WILL NOT BE DENIED. AGAIN I SAY, MOST WILL REMAIN CLASSIFIED BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE, HMTQ DOES NOT SUFFER FOOLS GLADLY, JUST REMEMBER THE PHOTO OF HER LOOKING AT MADAM, ON THE DAY OF THE GATHERING OF UNHAPPY PEOPLE, THAT FACIAL EXPRESSION SHOWS THE RESOLVE, AS LONG AS IT TAKES, JUSTICE WILL NOT BE DENIED.
Bar Wars…………
THE OTHER DAY THE CLUE WAS THREE DUCHESSES WALKED ONTO A BAR, SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD VISIONS OF A DRUNK HIGH MADAM DANCING LEWDLY AROUND A POLE ON THE BAR🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 BAR WARS RIFF ON STAR WARS….WE ARE ON A SPACE THEME TODAY. IS THAT WHERE CRIMINALS WILL BE SENT IN THE FITURE, PRISON ON MARS?
IN ALL SERIOUSNESS AGAIN I SAY, LEGAL ANON WHERE ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU??🤨🤨🤨🧐🧐🧐IN AMERICA WHEN YOU GRADUATE LAW SCHOOL, IN ORDER TO PRACTICE, YOU NEED TO WRITE THE BAR EXAM, THEN YOU GET YOUR LICENSE FOR THAT STATE. NOW JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A LICENSE IN ONE STATE DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ENTITLE YOU TO PRACTICE LAW IN ANOTHER. SOMETIMES IF YOU ACT AS CO-COUNSEL, YOU CAN. I DO NOT KNOW IF SOME STATES AUTOMATICALLY ACCEPT YOU OR IF EVERY SINGLE STATE HAS THEIR OWN BAR EXAM, BUT SOME DO BECAUSE THE LAWS VARY DRAMATICALLY, AND LOUISIANA HAS PARISHES NOT COUNTIES ETC. ANYHOW WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION. I AM ONLY TALKING AMERICA BECAUSE SHE IS AN AMERICAN, AND WORKED ON A LAW TV SHOW SO THAT EQUATES WITH HER BEHIND A LAW EXPERT WORLDWIDE😁😁😁
THIS IS A HUGE LONG WINDED TANGENTIAL EXPLANATION,WHICH IS TYPICAL 💜💜😁😁PG😊😊💜💜 RIGHT, I KNOW YOU KIDS LOVE IT. THIS IS THE MOS LAWSUIT, ANNULMENT/DIVORCE, THE LONG LIST OF PENDING LEGAL CHARGES, YOU KNOW , I WONT GO INTO EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE. MAKE NO MISTAKE THIS IS WAR, SHE IS FIGHTING BECAUSE SHE IS RIGHT AND DESERVES EVERYTHING BECAUSE SHE IS SPECIAL, WAY MORE SPECIAL THAT ANYONE ELSE AND SHE IS BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY , INSERT 🙄ROLLS NOW.
BUT THE BIGGER WAR, IS THE SPIRITUAL WAR GOING ON BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL, I, WITH ALL MY HEART💜💜, BELIEVE THAT IS THE REAL WAR HERE. ATTACKING THE CHRISTIAN MONARCHY BY DARK EVIL AGENDAS FOR POWER, CONTROL, MONEY AND LAWS CHANGING. HMTQ NEEDS TO BE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 FOR AS WELL AS ALL THOSE WORKING ON THE SIDE OF JUSTICE.
survival of the fit-test……………”
DARWIN, WAY BACK WHEN, HIS THEORY ON EVOLUTION , KEY PART OF NATURE OF LIFE, SURVIVAL, ACTUAL SURVIVAL AS IN REMAINING ALIVE AND PROCREATING THE SPECIES DEPENDED UPON THE FITTEST STRONGEST OF THE SPECIES.
HERE WE HAVE FIT TEST. MADAME’S SURVIVAL DEPENDS UPON HER BEING FIT, MENTALLY FIT. I BELIEVE DURING THE COURSE OF THIS RECENT MENTAL HEALTH HOLD , SHE WILL HAVE BEEN FULLY ASSESSED, AND I BELIEVE, GOING OUT ON A LIMB, BUT I DID WORK IN THAT FIELD FOR 20+ YEARS SHE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE DIAGNOSED AS NPD, NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER, WHICH IS AN AXIS II DIAGNOSIS, A DISORDER BUT NOT NOT NOT A MENTAL ILLNESS. AXIS I DIAGNOSES ARE MENTAL ILLNESSES. SHE MAY HAVE CO—MORBIDITY UNDER AXIS III OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE OR HOBBIES. EATING DISORDER MAY BE IN PLAY SOMEWHERE AS WELL . I FEEL VERY STRONGLY SHE WILL BE MENTALLY ASSESSED AS COMPETENT TO STAND TRIAL SHOULD THERE BE ONE.
I MENTIONED THIS THE OTHER DAY AND IN SEASON ONE. I BELIEVE THE STAR CHAMBER HAS BEEN ACTIVE FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I RECALL LAST SEASON, KIDS THAT IS HOW I AM DIFFERENTIATING MM ANON’S SERIES OF RIDDLES. LAST SEASON, NETTY WAS MENTIONED NUMEROUS TIMES OTHERWISE KNOWN AS BARON MALDON, IAIN DUNCAN BURNETT, THE CURRENT CHIEF JUSTICE OF ENGLAND AND WALES. WE HAD ‘9 of the 13 are solid’. I RECALL INTERPRETING TO MEAN THE CHARGES. AT ANY RATE BACK ALL THE WAY TO SURVIVAL OF THE FIT TEST, SHE WILL BE DETERMINED AS FIT!!!
💜💜NOW A PENNY WILL GO TO ANYONE WHO CAN REPLY PROPERLY TO THIS💜💜
😁😁😁😁😁FIT LIKE LOON??😁😁😁😁😁
“a vulgar mansion “……………
ANYWHERE MADAM IS VULGAR FOLLOWS. THIS WHOLE TYLER PERRY LOANING THEM HIS MANSION IN L.A. BLAH BLAH BLAH. TYLER PERRY LIVES IN ATLANTA HE HAS MADE BILLIONS IF TV AND FILM BOTH ACTING BUT THE REAL MONEY IS PRODUCTION. ALL THOSE MADEA FILMS THATS TYLER PERRY. THE FIRST ONE WAS HILARIOUS, CALLED DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN, DOUBLE ENTENDRE OF MAD AS IN EMOTIONAL AND MAD BECAUSE HE DUMPED HER. THE SCENE WHERE MADEA , THE GRANDMOTHER, TAKES A CHAINSAW TO THE HUSBANDS FURNITURE AND CUTS IT IN HALF IS HILARIOUS. THE MADEA GRANDMA WAS SO POPULAR IT SPAWNED FILMS. SO TYLER IS EXTREMELY WEALTHY. I SEE NO REASON WHY HE WOULD GET INVOLVED WITH MADAM UNLESS SHE HAS SOMETHING OR SUNSHINE SACHS DOES. THIS WHOLE PR GARBAGE HAS REALLY OPENED MY EYES WOWZA!!
PERRY IS THICK AS THIEVES WITH OPRAH AND GK. I REMEMBER YEARS AGO, HE GAVE THEM EACH A BESPOKE WHITE BENTLEY EACH.
Spider sandwiches………
IS GEORGE STILL JONESING FOR A SPIDER SANDWICH? I WONDER IF CATHERINE FIGURED OUT A WAY TO MAKE THEM. I CAN SEE BREAD, BLACK LICORICE FOR THE LEGS, RED DOTS FOR THE EYES ETC ETC. I HOPE IT HAPPENED. SO MANY PARENTS HAVE BEEN WILDLY CREATIVE AND CHILDREN TOO!!DURING THIS STAY HOME TIME.
an emotional exhibition, Bravo!! ………
I WROTE AT LENGTH ABOUT THIS THE OTHER DAY. OUR CATHERINE IS PATRON OF THE ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY. THEY ARE PUTTING TOGETHER AN EXHIBIT ENTITLED HOLD STILL. IT WILL CONSIST OF 100 PHOTOGRAPHS THAT THE PUBLIC CAN ENTER DOCUMENTING THEIR TIME DURING THE PANDEMIC. IT WILL CONSIST OF A WIDE VARIETY I AM CERTAIN AND WILL BE EXTREMELY MOVING. AS I SAID THE OTHER DSY, I HOPE THEY PUBLISH A BOOK WITH THESE PHOTOS , I WOULD BUY THAT IN A HOT MINUTE AND THE MONEY COULD GO TO THE NHS OR CHARITY. EXCELLENT WORK CATHERINE BRAVO INDEED!! SHE IS AN AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER, THE PHOTOS SHE TOOK FOR HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY , UTILIZING THE PAINTING, THE GIRL WITH THE PEARL EARRING BY DUTCH PAINTER VERMEER AS INSPIRATION FOR HER PHOTO OF A DUTCH SURVIVOR WAS BRILLIANT.
now that’s TRUE grit……………
TRUE GRIT…GREAT OLD JOHN WAYNE FILM. LOVED IT. TRUE GRIT, MEANS BACKBONE, INTEGRITY, NEVER QUITTING WHEN THINGS GET ROUGH, SEEING THINGS THROUGH UNTIL THE END. I SEE THIS AS ALL OF US, DOING OUR BEST TO COMPLY AND SURVIVE NOT ONLY PHYSICALLY BUT FINANCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND IN EVERY WAY DURING THIS PANDEMIC. OUR WORLD HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED AND WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. MANY HORRIBLE DEATHS AND FAMILIES SPLIT, UNABLE TO HAVE PROPER FUNERALS, ALTERNATE GRIEF STYLES. BUT SOOO MANY BLESSINGS IF ONE LOOKS FOR THEM…. TRUE GRIT………WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GET GOING💜💜💜💜💜💜
be- bop-a-loo-la RIP………
LITTLE RICHARD RIP, HE JUST PASSED AWAY …I STARTED SINGING THE MINUTE I READ THIS. SHES MY BABY, BE BOP A LOOO LAH DONT MEAN MAYBE… BE BOP A LOO LAH SHE MY BABY DOLL MY BABY DOLL. THIS IS DIRECT REFERENCE TO THE LOSS OF A GREAT MUSICIAN. IT IS ALSO A REFERENCE TO ARCHFICIAL AND MADAM HAVING ONLY A DOLL IN A BOX SOMEWHERE, NO BABY, NOT THAT SHE CARES AND MISSES THAT CHILD .
The Serenity prayer……
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE, COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. MY GRANDMA HAD THIS HANGING ON THE WALL IN THE NURSING HOME. I WAS LITTLE MAYBE 7? WE WOULD GO VISIT HER ON SUNDAYS, I WAS ALWAYS SCARED, THE PLACE SMELLT FUNNY, PEOPLE WERE YELLING OUT, AS A CHILD IT WAS SCARY. MY PARENTS SPOKE TO HER IN HER LANGUAGE WHICH I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND, SO I LOOKED AROUND. I REMEMBER READING THAT OVER AND OVER. I WONDER WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT PLAQUE. I TRULY BELIEVE THIS IS ONE IF THE BASIC THINGS IN LIFE YET MOST OF US STRUGGLE WITH TRYING TO CHANGE THINGS OR PEOPLE EVRN THOUGH WE KNOW INTELLECTUALLY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. I THINK OUR PARADIGM OF LIFE, AND WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT HAVE SHIFTED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. I SEE GREAT THINGS COULD COME OF THIS. FIRSTLY AS WE NURSES HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR DECADES NOW, WE NEED BETTER STAFFING IN LONG TERM CARE. HOW WE RELATE TO ONE ANOTHER, HELPING OUR NEIGHBOURS. I JUST HAVE SO MUCH FAITH IN THE CHANGES YET TO COME. YES THERE ARE SCAMMERS ALWAYS WILL BE BUT LET USCTRY TO FOCUS ON GOID THINGS. AS PHILLIPIANS SAYS IN HOLY SCRIPTURE, WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE RIGHTEOUS , WHATSOEVER THINGS ARE TRUE..THINK ON THESE THINGS. I AM PARAPHRASING BUT YOU GET WHAT I MEAN😊.
thank you for this forum xxxxx……………
THIS IS A GREAT FORUM FOR SELF EXPRESSION, PRAYER, LAUGHTER, ROYALTY, ANYTHING. THIS IS A GODLY PLACE. A PLACE OF LOVE SND ACCEPTANCE AND WE ARE SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK MM ANON.
it will end ,…one day!
SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE. WE HAVE TO KEEP THE FSITH, KEEP PRAYING FOR HMTQ, HARRY AND THE FAMILY. PRAY JUSTICE IS DONE. WHAT IS DARK AND HIDDEN THE LIGHT SHALL EVENTUALLY FIND.

SEASON TWO:THE RETURN OF MM ANON 😉
RIDDLE #12. 2225 HRS CST
KIDS, I TRULY APOLOGIZE IT IS SO LATE, I HAVE HAD A TERRIBLE STOMACHE BUG TODAY AND IT HAS NOT LEFT ME. I WILL DO MY BEST, AS I KNOW YOU ALL WAIT FOR IT AND ENJOY IT💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊😊PG😊😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜
Rachel 43………… archificial 15 months
UNCERTAINTY SURROUNDS THIS CHILD, SEX, AGE, NAME, WHERE HE OR SHE IS, WHO WAS THE GENETIC EGG DONOR, THE GENETIC SPERM DONOR, THE SURROGATE AND WHO NOW IS CARING FOR SAID CHILD. WE DO KNOW WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY THAT BOTH MADAM AND THE CHILD SHE PRESENTED IN THE BIDEO ARE BOTH NOT THE AGE THEY ARE STATED TO BE. ONE OF A ZILLION LIES AND FACTS OBFUSCATED.
hospitality will become inhospitable …………
THE SAYING GOES, GUESTS ARE LIKE FISH, AFTER THREE DAYS THEY START TO STINK. WHEREVER MADAM IS COUCH CRASHING NOW, THEY ARE GETTING ENOUGH OF HER AND WANT HER TO GO ELSEWHERE. I CANNOT IMAGINE ONE MINUTE OF HER PRESENCE.
the R factor …………
TONIGHT U.K. PM BORIS JOHNSON SPOKE TO THE COUNTRY REVEALING HIS GOVERNMENT’S PLAN FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS. EACH POSSIBLE REACTION, COMES WITH AN R, OR RESPONSE. BASICALLY GOING BACK A STEP IF COVID-19 CASES INCREASE. PEOPLE ARE COMPLETELY CONFUSED. GO TO WORK, BUT NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. GO TO THE PARK, BEACH, BUT NO GUIDELINES FOR SEEING FAMILY. IT SEEMS VERY CONFUSING TO ME REALLY.
“Henry, don’t do that”. ……
THIS REMINDS ME OF THE SONG, THERE’S A HOLE IN THE BUCKET DEAR HENRY DEAR HENRY……DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THAT? IT IS ANOLD FUN SONG.SO OUR HARRY’S FIRST MAME IS HENRY BUT HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN CALLED THAT.
DID YOU KNOW KING HENRY VIII HAD A WELL DOCUMENTED RECORD OF ISOLATING HIMSELF FROM TIME TO TIME? HE IN GSCT HAD SECRET PRIVATE ROOMS WITH BOOKS, HIS MUSIC INSTRUMENTS TO OCCUPY HIMSELF. THERE IS A NEW BOOK BY ELERI LYNN, WHO CURATES THE ROYAL DRESS COLLECTION AT HISTORIC ROYAL PALACES. SHE PRESENTS BOTH KING HENRYVIII AND DAUGHTER, ELIZABETH I TOOK GREAT SOLACE IN THESE QUITE SMALL SPACES. THEY ENJOYED COURT AND ALL THINGS SOCITO BE SURE, BUT THEIR QUIET REFUGES WERE SPECIAL.
SO THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE, WHO IS THE SPEAKER OR WRITER? WHO CALLS HIM HENRY? A GRANDFATHER PERHAPS? I WONDER IF THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH HAS BEEN IN TOUCH AND ENCOURAGING OUR HARRY DURING THIS PANDEMIC ON TOP OF ALL HE HAS BEEN COPING WITH. WISE WORDS FROM A GRANDFATHER TO NOT TOTALLY ISOLATE BUT USE SOCIAL MEDIA ETC TO CONNECT WITH HIS BELOVED FAMILY. I KNOW INTEAD MANY MANY COMMENTS OF CONCERN FOR HIM AFTER THE LAST VIDEO HE RELEASED REGARDING VE DAY 75TH ANNIVERSARY.
return to school??? ……………
PRIMARY 1 AND 6 MAY RETURN IN JUNE. BUT WHAT ABOIT THE OTHERS.THERE ARE SO MANY UNCERTAINTIES. THE RISK OF RUSHING THIS IS TO ME UNNECESSARY, ESPECIALLY REGARDING SCHOOL, ITS ALMOST SUMMER BREAK, JUST LEAVE IT BE!!
no guidelines ……………
PEOPLE IN THE U.K. ARE MORE CONFUSED THAN EVER NOW, AFTER THE PM’S ADDRESS. CAN BE OUT WITH STRANGERS BUT VERY UNCLEAR GUIDELINES, IF NOT COMPLETELY UNSTATED GUIDELINES FOR FAMILY. GO BACK TO WORK, BUT DO NOT USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IE THE TUBE, USES, UBER ETC ETC. THIS MAKES FOR GREAT UNCERTAINTY IN A CITY THE SIZE OF LONDON, WHO HAS PRETTY MUCH THE POPULATION OF MY ENTIRE COUNTRY🇨🇦. THIS IS SUCH A RISKY SITUATION, SO MANY DEATHS AND HIGH TRANSMISSION RATE, EVERYONE MUST BE BESIDE THEMSELVES TRYING TO PROCESS THINGS SND MAKE DECISIONS. TRULY LIFE AND DEATH DECISIONS!
be alert, the country needs lerts………… THIS IS FUNNY🤣🤣😂😂😂, COULD BE A TSHIRT OR BUMER STICKER. DO THEY STILL MAKE BUMPER STICKERS? HUMOUR IS THE UNCERTAINTY, LACK OF CLARITY AND DIRECTION ON WHAT TO DO, HOW TO DO IT OR NOT DO THINGS. THE RISE, GLOBALLY OF CHILDREN FALLING ILL, WITH PRESENTATION SIMILAR TO KAWASAKI DISEASE IS SHOWING THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY AND ALL OF US THAT THIS ROSY ASSESSMENT OF CHILDREN BEING MINIMALLY AFFECTED BY THIS VIRUS IS BEARING OUT TO NOT BE CORRECT. THE INCUBATION TIME SEEMS LONGER AND THE ENVIRONMENT OVERLOADED WITH THE SHEER VASTNESS OF VIRAL PRESENCE IS TERRIFYING.
risk assessment!!! ………… an issue of safety THIS HAS BEEN AND CONTINUES TO BE ESSENTIAL. DIFFERENT PROVINCES IS 🇨🇦 ARE APPROACHING TESTING DIFFERENTLY, RESUMPTION OF MORE THINGS SLOW RETURNING TO OPERATION IN ORDER TO KICKSTART THE ECONOMY . PUBLIC SAFETY IS STILL PARAMOUNT, UT IT SEEMS SOME ISSUES HAVE BECOME POLITICISED, WHICH IS EXTREMELY CONCERNING.
it’s the economy,stupid!! …………
THE JOB LOSS NUMBERS AND CLOSING OF THE ECONOMY HAS BROUGHT ON NEARLY UNPRECEDENTED WOES. IT IS ESSENTIAL THE ECONOMY BE REOPENED. HOWEVER BALANCING THAT WITH THE VERY REAL LIFE AND DEATH SITUATIONS AND CHOICES WILL HAVE MAJOR EFFECTS, BOTH IN THE SHORT TERM AND THE LONG TERM AS WELL.
test, Trace and isolate. …………
THIS IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE, MANY JURISDICTIONS ARE DOING THINGS SO DIFFERENTLY. EITHER THE NASAL/ESOPHAGEAL SWAB TEST OR THE FINGER PRICK SEROLOGY TESTS. THERE HAVE BEEN MAJOR ISSUES OF OBTAINING THE REAGENT NEEDED TO TEST THE ACTUAL SAMPLE. ASSESSING THE PRESENCE AND PREVALENCE IN EACH AREA IS VITAL SO DURING THE REOPENING PHASE, THINGS CAN BE REDACTED IF NECESSARY. ISOLATION HAS BEEN KEY TO MINIMIZING THE SPREAD OF THE BEAST OF THIS CORONA VIRUS STRAIN COVID-19. TRULY, UNTIL THERE IS A PROVEN EFFECT VACCINE, MANY PEOPLE WITH COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEMS, LATER IN LIFE AND OTHER PRE-EXISTING HEALTH CONDITIONS MAY HAVE TO ISOLATE UNTIL THAT TIME. IT IS A TERRIFYING THOUGHT KIDS🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
a silver lining 🌈🌈. THERE ARE ALWAY ALWAYS ALWAYS IN EVERY SITUATION IF YOU CHOOSE TO SEEK THEM. GOD GAVE US THE RAINBOW AS A COVENANT, THAT AFTER THE GREAT FLOOD AND NOAH HAD BUILT THE ARK, ALL SPECIES OF ANIMALS AND HIS FAMILY SURVIVED. THE RAINBOW IS A BLESSING, LOVE SHOW AND A COVENANT. WE HAVE SEEN AMAZING THINGS, LONG TERM HEAKTH CARE WORKERS FINALLY GETTING RECOGNITION FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC LEARNING HOW POORLY STAFFING LEVELS ARE. THE CHANGE FROM HOLLYWOOD HEROES TO MEDICAL STAFF, LONG HAUL DRIVERS WHO BRING FOOD AND SUPPLIES. THOSE WHO WORK IN FOID STORES, PHARMACIES, RETAIL, ALL THE THINGS WE DEPEND ON DAILY!! TILL NOW, MOST OF US BARELY GAVE IT A THOUGHT OF HOW BLESSED WE ARE , THOSE OF US WHO LIVE IN FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES. COLONEL TOM, HIS FUNDRAISING, THE CLAPPING, THE TREMENDOUS SENSE OF COMMUNITY, PEOPLE HELPING ONE ANOTHER ETC ETC ETC ETC. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF EXAMPLES OF HOW HUMAN BEINGS ACROSS THE GLOBE HAVE STEPPED UP. MANY THINGS WERE HALTED, WE COUKD NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS HAVE FORESEEN. I HAVE A STRONG FAITH AND I BELIEVE THAT AS WE SLOWLY RETURN TO ‘NORMAL LIFE’ WE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. WORK PATTERNS WILL CHANGE, HOW WE INTERACT WILL REMAIN CHANGED, I THINK WE SHALL CONTINUE TO SEE MARVELLOUS THINGS HAPPEN. WE MUST REMEMBER THE GREATT LOSSES AND SACRIFICE AND FAMILIES CANNOT GRIEVE IN THE NORMAL FASHION.THEY WILL CONTINUE TO NEED PRAYER, AND ON E ABLE, HUGS, VISITS, HOT MEALS BROUGHT TO THEM ETC ETC. Before MSA + 1: Practice
It took a surprisingly short time to set up the first faux investigation at Lewis’s house.
“We have a limited number of cameras for recording video so we have to determine the best locations for them.  Where would you say the activity is the most concentrated?” asked Hiro.
“My room, but that’s probably just because it’s my room,” said Lewis.
Hiro nodded.  “A bit iffy, but reasonable.  We can leave a camera in there, but I’ll need permission from your parents for it to run overnight.”
“Don’t forget the basement,” suggested Frigg from the kitchen.  “Whatever’s down there is unpleasant enough that we put off going down there until Sydney’s around.”
“I knew it,” muttered Sydney.
“Was that where the bodies were prepared?” asked Hiro.
Frigg shrugged. “I’m not sure.  We’re not the first people to live here, and one of the former occupants must have cleared everything out.”
“We’ll place one or two cameras in the basement and save the last in case we find something notable during the investigations,” decided Hiro.  “You can also set up a few things ahead of time.  I like stretching very fine and fragile thread across doorways and laying out a layer of powder on the floor, usually flour.  We won’t be doing that this time, as I don’t think Lewis’ parents would appreciate the mess, but can anyone tell me what purpose these serve?”
“Should I answer?” asked Vivi.
“Let’s wait and give the others a chance to see if they can come up with anything,” said Hiro.
“To trip people?” asked Sydney.
“Bit of the opposite,” said Hiro.
“Ghosts would go through the thread, but people would break it?” asked Arthur.
Hiro nodded. “Correct.  It will help you figure out if any activity in the room was due to a ghost or a human.  Now, what do you think about the flour?”
“Footprints?” suggested Lewis.
Hiro nodded. “Yes.  Humans and animals leave footprints.  Ghosts don’t.  In addition, air currents could shift them letting you know that there is a draft or something similar.  You might learn or come up with additional tricks to help you out.  There are all sorts of techniques.”  Hiro paused to pull out a large sheet of paper, which he unfolded to show a complicated looking circle with various symbols and kanji along it. “This is a protective circle. It’s a good idea to set one up so that if you run into something particularly nasty you can retreat to a safe location to regroup.  They aren’t full proof though.  It’s best to find some way to escape.”
“Why is it so small?” asked Sydney.
“Because this is the biggest piece of paper I could find,” deadpanned Hiro.  “They’re normally a lot larger to fit several people inside.”  Ben barked. “And animals as well.”
“Not a lot of investigators use animals,” said Vivi.  “But we’ve got Ben.”
“Animals are much more sensitive to spiritual presences than most humans, and dogs are often protective of their family.  They’ll do whatever they can to keep you alive,” explained Hiro.  He nodded to Lewis.  “You’re at least as sensitive, probably more so, but the rest of the children can’t detect anything on their own yet.”
Sydney perked up. “Yet?”
“Ah.  My family has a history of spiritual powers that manifest in our teens or early adulthood,” explained Hiro.  “I have some sensory abilities myself, and I expect Vivi will someday as well.”
“It’s taking forever though,” muttered Vivi.
“There are also items I suggest you keep on you at all times:  Holy water, salt, smudge sticks, pepper spray.  That incudes you Sydney.  We don’t know how your power works exactly, so I would rather you be safe rather than sorry.”
Sydney nodded. “So, now what?”
“Now, I show you how to set up the cameras.”
The quick demonstration and lecture went a bit over Sydney and Lewis’ head, but Arthur seemed to understand the procedure.
“Now, usually, you would have one member of the group watch the monitors for anything out of the ordinary.”  Hiro nodded to Sydney.  “No offense meant Sydney, but since you seem to scare away ghosts you would likely be the one on the monitors a good portion of the time.”
“Aw…”
“But not tonight,” continued Hiro.  “This is just for practice, and we already know the house and cemetery are haunted. No reason to try and draw ghosts out.”
“Is that something we have to do?” asked Arthur.
“Don’t worry. It’s only small things,” said Hiro. “Asking if anyone is there, saying you mean no harm, simple nonthreatening things to catch their attention.”
“It’s harmless,” added Vivi.
“Usually.  Which is why you have to watch what you say,” said Hiro.  Couldn’t have her thinking there was no risk.  He wanted her to have a long life.  “Now, we’ll be moving to the cemetery.  Everyone has their religious symbols?”  The kids held up necklaces with religious symbols, mostly Christian and Shinto. “Good, always keep them on you during an investigation.  It wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep them on hand during daily life as well.”
“Dinner will be ready before too long,” interjected Frigg.
“We won’t be gone for too long,” reassured Hiro.
Five minutes later, they were in the cemetery.  Hiro could see the ghosts watching them curiously.  “Usually, you wander around a bit, maybe focusing on any graves belonging to known ghosts or having a connection to the investigation.”
Lewis raised a hand. “Um, a lot of them look haunted to me.”
Hiro nodded. “They probably always will. You’ll need to do some research beforehand to determine which gravestones to focus on.  I usually start by asking locals, looking up newspaper articles to determine how accurate their accounts are, and going through records to see how possible it is.”
“That’s a lot of homework,” said Sydney.
Hiro had to chuckle a bit at that.  “I suppose that’s one way to look at it.”  He took out a camera.  “Now, we’ll take a few pictures as we walk around since ghosts sometimes show up in photos.”
Arthur perked up. “Oh!  That’s a pretty new model!”
Hiro nodded.  “I prefer digital cameras.  Some insist film works better, but personally I feel the two are equally effective, but digital cameras provide certain advantages.  You can take more pictures.  This is important because I recommend taking at least three pictures in quick succession.  If the same odd phenomena appear in all three pictures with trackable progression, it’s probably a trick of the camera or a light reflection.  It it’s only in one, it could be supernatural.  You’ll need to examine it further to be sure.  If you do use up all the space on a camera, you can go back and delete any that you’re sure have no supernatural evidence.  The only downside is that there are no negatives and skeptics might claim you photoshopped something.  Not much you can do about that.”
Hiro took a moment to take three quick shots of a grave where a young man’s ghost was floating. “Now, let’s see what we’ve got.”
All three photos were completely normal.  Lewis looked between them and the ghost in confusion.  “I had some warning,” said the ghost.
Hiro nodded. “Ghosts can prevent photo artifacts if they concentrate.”  Hiro wasn’t entirely sure how they did this.
Ben walked over to a seemingly random grave and started pawing at it while the ghost floating about it pet him.  Hiro took a few more pictures.  “Ah. Looks like I got something this time.” He lowered the camera so the children could see the wisps of smoke in one of the pictures.  “It’s not very impressive, but most ghost photos aren’t. If you get a clear figure, then there’s a good chance it’s a fake.  Not that there aren’t genuine ghost photos that manage to capture clear figures, but that’s pretty rare since they usually require a powerful ghost or a ghost willingly expending large amounts of energy, which most won’t do for the sake of self-preservation.”  The children nodded along.  Good.
They spent another few minutes wandering around taking pictures and using a recording device to hopefully record answers to harmless questions such as ‘What is your name?’ or ‘Why are you here?’  “I think that’s enough,” declared Hiro.
Arthur looked relieved (Not that Hiro could blame him.  Several of the ghosts had decided to follow him around.).  Lewis and Sydney looked happy enough with their activities. Vivi looked annoyed.  “That’s it?  We hardly did anything!”
Hiro shrugged.  “It’s not a real investigation.  We’re not trying to figure anything else.  You’re just learning the basics, and your friends are younger than you and will have to go to bed at an earlier time.”
“I miss our sleepovers,” muttered Lewis.
“Besides, the Peppers looked like they were almost done cooking, and I’d rather we didn’t keep them waiting,” finished Hiro.  The mention of food caught Vivi and Ben’s attention.  He knew that would work.  The two ate so much it was next to impossible to not distract them with the promise of food.
Thankfully, the Peppers had produced enough food for an extra dozen people…and had made a few servings of less spicy food.  Arthur was visibly relieved.  “Thank you so much.”
“Oh, it’s no problem. We know not everyone enjoys spicier food so we’ve learned to make less potent portions when we have guests over,” explained Frigg.
“I think I will be taking some of that as well,” said Hiro.  He didn’t mind spicy, but this smelled overwhelmingly so.
Ben was trying to beg food from Savina.  “No.” She was completely unmoved.  Looks like Ben was going to be sneaking food away. Hiro hoped he’d be able to come up with an excuse for the missing food.

WARNING: The following contains heavy semantics. This is the equivalent of letterboxd users breaking down their dumb rating systems. OK, not as bad, but still! You have been warned!
I’m starting a new (and final) iteration of something I’ve done my whole life. A single list of my 50 Favorite Actors, covering the full scope of era and gender. I’ll make a new one from scratch each year as a kind of record. 50 doesn’t leave too much room for sudden or drastic evolution, but the long game is what I’m playing at.
All of my old lists (of any kind) used to be ranked. Frankly, fuck that. I’m all for ranking within narrow frameworks (Top Ten By Year, etc) but general lists like favorite actors and movies? Why do it? Numbers make the whole thing an arbitrary assessment, isolating the actors and films into a misguided hierarchy that doesn’t add any insight or clarity. Lists and rankings are such an oversaturated aspect of culture content as it is, and I’d like to avoid this feeling like just another ranking. The collective group is the thing, the totality of taste, interest, and meaning. Keeping this a singular entity (with one or two caveats) preserves this as a personal journal entry of sorts, a snapshot and not the end-all be-all. It’s a way of capturing my taste in film and the people in it. I’ve put a star next to my ten favorites, and I’ve got a separate long list of people I considered but ultimately didn’t add, and that’s the extent of it.
Growing up, I made favorite actor lists obsessively. When I was around six or seven I would play ‘School’. I was the teacher. My students? The likes of Tony Danza, Christopher Lloyd, Danny DeVito, and John Travolta. I had pages and pages of any actor whose name I knew (the entire casts of Angels in the Outfield and Addams Family Values were represented). I took very careful attendance to make sure everyone was present, calling out each name and imagining that yes, they were there. Each actor received a little check in their row of squares (I made sure I had the checkered graph paper to keep everything orderly and precise).
age 11
Tumblr media
all of these were made at age 11
Then there were the dark days, the days when tween Katie made lists like Top Ten ‘Cutie-Patootie’ Actors (a reference to the Rosie O’Donnell Show, yes, the Rosie O’Donnell Show, seen above). As you can see, the kid from Dennis the Menace topped that one. I also had my constantly revised Top Ten Favorite Actors & Actresses. Five actors from the lists pictured above are also on this current one: Nicole Kidman, Jim Carrey, Winona Ryder, John Travolta, and Michelle Pfeiffer. They were major icons for me then, and they remain so now, 20 years after the fact. They are forever favorites.
Tumblr media
the four quadrants, from 2006 (age 18)
What followed were continuously updated versions of this, covering half my lifetime: Top Blank (at varying points it was 20, 30, and 50) Modern Actors, Modern Actresses, Classic Actors, and Classic Actresses (‘Classic’ accounted for the Hollywood studio era). They were always divided into those four quadrants. I can timestamp the years by who was on them. Simon Pegg at the top? Must be 2008. Katee Sackhoff near the top? I must have been watching “Battlestar Galactica” then. You can find the 2012 versions on this site: here and here.
These categories created considerable grey area, swaths of actors that never really fit comfortably in their group. Those who either featured in films from both eras (Jack Lemmon) or were technically of the ‘Modern’ era but with careers that didn’t really transition into the current (Faye Dunaway). And those ‘Modern’ lists were always much more about the now. I never made room for these actors who qualified as ‘Modern’ but who could be pinpointed to the past. I wanted to feature the up-and-coming, people whose careers I was excited about now! Filmographies I could follow along with as they progressed.
This factor, which meant so much to me then, means nothing re: this new list. For one, I don’t follow current stuff to the degree I used to. 21st century film is less interesting to me (current TV far less so). But I’m really fond of a lot of actors working today, from relative newcomers to tried-and-true character actors to cemented A-listers. The group there was no room for, not by a long shot, were the relative newcomers. I’m an easy lay when it comes to loving actors. But with over a century of performers to choose from, it doesn’t leave much room for the young “oooh I love him/her/them, I can’t wait to see what they do next” ones.
But for the record, the fresher (2010 to present) faces that Im most invested in are Adam Driver, Elizabeth Debicki, Tom Hardy, Lakeith Stanfield, Kristen Stewart, Jesse Plemons, Nicholas Hoult, and Jonah Hill (whose career trajectory I’m endlessly intrigued by, a man funnier than most of his peers, with the unstable depths of a Chris Penn, whose hyper-sensitivity about being taken seriously and joining the ranks of the prestigious show up on the screen).
The old lists, especially the 50-each ones that totaled to 200 actors, were actually more challenging than this list. Because with so much room, you’re fooled into thinking everyone can be represented. But they can’t; even those lists fill up quick. And now, with just 50 total, it gets down to essentials. There are the favorites, and then the ones who matter most. Oh, I love them? Cool, next! Oh, I love them a lot? Cool, next! Omgtheyaresoamazing? Cool. Next!
There are so many actors whose performances I consistently love or enjoy, that I always look forward to seeing and am often moved by. But there’s a difference between actors who frequently deliver great work, and actors who make something inherently more just by being there, that make me sit up in my seat because what they give either draws out extra engagement from me or they are so distinctive a presence that the fabric of the film/show is thereby altered. But none of this exists without the secret ingredient: that chemical thing that just draws you to one person’s talent and onscreen life more than another.
Tumblr media
The factors are endless. Above is my next tier of favorites, the ones that I didn’t go with but thought about and in some cases agonized (yes, agonized) over whether to include or not.
What do you do when a specific stretch of someone’s work means more to you than most people’s entire careers? Most don’t make it (Patty Duke, Diane Lane, Juliette Lewis, Marlon Brando, etc) But a few do: pre-Dick Tracy Warren Beatty, Eric Roberts in the 1980’s, and Sandy Dennis in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.
What do you do with the actors who are still alive but not working regularly, at all, or at the same caliber they used to? Most don’t make it (Nancy Allen, Tim Curry, Kathleen Turner, Fairuza Balk, Sheryl Lee, etc). But a few do: Jim Carrey, Shelley Duvall, Theresa Russell (a spot that could have been occupied by many that mean just as much to me, but I went with Theresa this time because it felt right), Eric Roberts, and John Travolta.
What do you do with the actors who mean a lot to you but whose careers were so brief that it’s hard to justify adding them over others? Unfortunately, almost all of those actors didn’t make it (Linda Manz, Paula Sheppard, Laird Cregar, Zoe Lund, James Dean, Pamela Franklin, etc). One does: Louise Brooks.
What do you do about the actors you love watching more than most but whose work you aren’t familiar enough with yet? None of them make it (Natasha Lyonne, Yaphet Kotto, Silvana Mangano, Helmut Berger, Dagmar Lassander, Tuesday Weld, etc). There are plenty of films from the 50 I’ve yet to see, but I’ve at least seen enough.
Then there are all the others, the really tough ones. I think about James Gandolfini more and more as the years go by. Harvey Keitel’s performances resonate a lot more as I get older (those defiant eyes, I can often feel him). I can’t believe I didn’t make room for Christina Ricci. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is the defining comedienne of my lifetime. There is only one Carol Kane, Donald Sutherland, Nicolas Cage, Joan Cusack, Parker Posey, Lily Tomlin, Crispin Glover. I get distinct pleasures from watching each of them. Some of my favorite immortals are Marlene Dietrich, Alain Delon, Judy Garland, Bette Davis, Buster Keaton, Cate Blanchett. I’m pretty sure I talk about Jude Law all the time. I will, and have, watched Jean-Claude Van Damme in anything I can find. In recent months I’ve rewatched a lot of key Samuel L. Jackson performances (Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Black Snake Moan, Django Unchained), and was newly reminded that he is one of our most compelling living actors. His pervasive and phoned-in presence in every imaginable franchise had led me to forget that. I’ve been hooked on Gene Wilder, Charles Laughton, Eva Green, Cillian Murphy, and still am. It goes on and on and on.
But this is the challenge of it, and the fun of it. My 50 favorites capture my fascination with stardom and long-range careers with eras & reinventions (ex. Crawford, Cruise, Fonda, Monroe, DiCaprio, Farrell, Taylor), physicality (ex. Chan, Ball, Phoenix, Reeves, Olyphant) & commanding physical presence (ex. Reed, Kidman, De Niro, Mitchum), blue moon charisma (ex. Pfeiffer, Russell, Walbrook, Cagney, Reed, Nicholson), the ones I feel a deep connection to (all of them but especially Carrey, Brooks, & Hoffman) & offbeat god-tier character actors (Dennis, Dourif, Roberts, Black, Duvall) I would take a bullet for.
I start to realize some of the people that aren’t even on this second list: Tilda Swinton, Kate Winslet, Robin Williams, Ingrid Bergman, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Gloria Grahame, Katharine Hepburn, Michael Shannon, Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, Jeanne Moreau, Saorsie Ronan, Brad Pitt, Gena Rowlands, Dirk Bogarde, James Mason, Jeff Bridges, Ethan Hawke, Jeff Goldblum, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, Catherine O’Hara, Catherine Deneuve, Juliette Binoche, Charlize Theron, Robert Redford, Julie Christie, Michael C. Hall, Michael Caine, Malcolm McDowell, John Hurt, Paul Newman, Anjelica Huston, Sigourney Weaver (every time I watch her in something I think about how much I love her. Her work in Alien 3 means a lot to me), Elliot Gould, etc etc etc. Hell, Peter Mullan is the only person on either list who appears in any Harry Potter film, and that franchise employed basically every British actor you can think of. Most of these actors have been on other lists in the past. Some you’d always be guaranteed to find there (Binoche, Deneuve, etc). As I type this I am realize I forgot Michael Stuhlbarg and John Hawkes in that second group. At the end of the day it just becomes about knowing who there was never any question about, and going with your gut on the rest.
But these 50 (ok, 52, I cheated, the truth is out!), the ones I ultimately chose, are the actors whose work collectively means more than the rest, my ultimate favorites: the ones I can lose myself in, and then find myself in. Who are yours?

THIS WAS OUR VIEW OF THE STAGE WE WERE SO CLOSE ALJFDAKFV;KJADFG;AKJ
Tumblr media
Act I:
- The theater EXPLODED when Miguel walked onstage for the first time it was incredible
-The ABSOLUTE POWER of “You never learned to take your TIIIIME” in the opening number when the entire company is singing I DIED
-During Aaron Burr Sir, Hamilton seemed so excited to meet Burr??? Like he was trying it play it cool but he was totally freaking out it was adorable
-My Shot was just a m a z i n g. I can’t put it into words I’m sorry
- During Schuyler Sisters, Peggy was t o t a l l y the bored little sister being dragged around by her older siblings it was the cutest thing ever
- Angelica absolutely SLAYED Burr, when she said “I want a revelation” she kinda slapped his cravat thingy around with this piece of paper she was holding (presumably some kind of newsletter)
- In farmer refuted ham and Seabury are always trying to step in front of each other/publicly humiliate each other/shove each other off the block which is really fun to watch
- King George was absolutely HILARIOUS, during the “‘Cause when push, comes to shove, I will kill your friends and family” part he literally said it like “I will KILL YOUR. FRIENDS. AND FAMILY.” I love him
- Beginning of right hand man looks like they’re underwater, the whole “British Admiral Howe’s got troops on the water” part was downright h a u n t i n g
- When Washington says “Hamilton come in, have you met Burr?”, Hamilton and Burr reply like ~college bros~, like “Yes, sir, WE KEEP MEETING!” and did this sort of handshake it was really cute
- Angelica’s first part in satisfied was happening center stage at the end of winters ball, it was so cool
-When Angelica leads Hamilton over to Eliza during Helpless, Hamilton is turned around facing Angelica, then eliza comes up behiind him sort of startling him it was really cute
- And when he says “If it takes fighting a war for us to meet it will have been worth it” and kisses her hand, Eliza looks at Angelica like “LOOK!!! LOOK AT THIS CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING” it was adorable
- The lights during the “rewind” part kept zooming into the middle while everyone rewinds to their part
- I have to say, Montego Glover was just a m a z i ng as Angelica, especially during Satisfied
- During the Story Of Tonight Reprise, Laurens, Lafayette, and Hercules are clearly drunk talking to Hamilton, and in the background some guy is just passed out on the stairs
- Tommar was INCREDIBLE during Wait For It, and at the end he sort of smooths out his coat, takes a deep breath, just sort of calming himself and reminding himself that he needs to... wait for it.
- During the beinning of Stay Alive, Eliza is on the (I guess balcony is the best word for it??) above Hamilton as she sings, almost like she’s speaking directly to him which was amazing
- Hamilton literally said “we have resorted to eating our horses” like “WE!! HAVE RESORTED!! TO EATING!!! OUR HORSES!!!” I love Miguel so much
- Also Miguel looks really good in glasses?? Like really good. Just something I noticed...
-Burr’s “okay so we’re doing this” sounded like a resigned parent talking to a bunch of toddlers
- Washington’s “go home” at the end of Meet ME Inside didn’t sound like an order like it did on the soundtrack, it sounded more like a “Son, you need to go home, this is for your own good”
- Jamila’s voice was A N G E L I C during That Would Be Enough I’m-
- Her “look out world” was kind of whispered to Hamilton it was so cute
- GWashs letter to Ham gets passed around the stage via the ensemble during Guns and Ships which looks awesome
- The sheer POWER in Yorktown you just don’t get on the recording it was incredible
- In what comes next george is very pouty and screams as if he’s throwing a tantrum before stomping offstage
- at “feeling so blue” he looks down at stage, stomps foot, spotlight turns blue
- Dear theodosia is so good my gosh Tommar and Miguel were amazing
- During the last bit of DT Eliza is in the background holding a letter for ham waiting for him to finish
- Tomorrow there’ll be more of us made me cry like always, but even more this time because nothing could prepare me for seeing it live onstage
- When Angelica goes to England she and Eliza stand on the circular thing but ham doesn’t so A goes away from him while E goes towards him which is cool
-  For Hams “constitutional convention”, Miguel’s voice goes so high he squeaks and is barely audible/his voice gives out which is really funny/cute
- Again with the POWER for nonstop, it’s just insane
Act II:
- JEFFERSON oh my god he’s so dramatic I love it
- At his entrance he kept making the applause louder whenever he noticed it quieting down
- Madison comes in coughing. Every time.
- Cabinet Battles are so funny, Ham mocks whatever tjeff does
- Also there’s a huuuge height difference between Colby and Miguel which makes it even funnier
- Tjeff, Ham, gwash have hand mics and TJeff gently sets his down when he’s done, and Madison goes to pick it up, then drops it and picks it up with his handkerchief because apparently he’s a germaphobe
- When gwash breaks them up ham hides behind him crouching while taunting tjeff it was hilarious
- In take a break ham is working on one side of turnstile while Eliza and Phillip are on other
- Jose’s Philip rap was adorable??? Like he started off sort of shy, but when Ham goes “What??” after his “you can write rhymes but you can’t write mine” he gets really excited and confident it was adorable
-When Angelica and Eliza are trying to convince Ham to go upstate with them, and Angelica sings “If you take your time, you will make your mark” essentially telling him that he’ll make his mark someday, and at the same time Eliza sings “Look around look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now” essentially telling him he doesn’t need to worry about leaving a legacy, and Hamilton looks at Angelica during that part, which I think means that he was listening to her more than Eliza??? Idk, just a theory
- Angelica’s hair is up for the rest of the show now, has a parasol and slightly different dress??
- Say no to this is So cool so amazing Aubin was amazing as Maria
And James Reynolds is up on the balcony area at the beginning watching this affair happen that was an awesome touch
Ham looks really conflicted/reluctant to hand Reynolds the check
- AUBIN WISE IS A LITERAL GODDESS AND I’M GAY* AS HECK thank you that is all
- Reynolds slaps his leg to tell Maria to come to him, she does but stops and stares at ham for a little bit but follows
- ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS YOU CAN SEE ALL THE WANT AND CONFLICT IN BURRS FACE ITS SO MUCH LIKE THE CLASSIC DISNEY VILLAIN SONG
- Tjeff hands mic to mads to say France, and Madison said it so d e a d p a n it was great
- Washington on your side starts with just burr and jeff and then mads comes in at his “which I wrote” directed to someone off stage
- At the end Jefferson gives his resignation letter to gwash who reads it before going into one last time
- I know him was so funny, gwash passed king George in between the two songs and gwash was like a foot taller and kg just looked at the audience like ‘what’s this guy doing??’
- He was so genuinely confused the whole song and just sat down off to the side to see the rest unfold
- Adams Admin, george is just laughing/cackling the whole time
- At hams address to Adams, he drops a package of paper a few inches thick on the ground because of course he does
- Hurricane was soooo cool, started off underwater, became eye of hurricane and Miguel was just  i n c r e d i b l e during the ‘I wrote my way out of hell/I wrote my way to revolution” part. Actually just for the entire song he was incredible. And the entire performance.
- In Reynolds pamphlet, everyone has a pamphlet and is showing it to each other, george comes down and dances off to the side then in hams face
- BURRRN YOOO SO GOOD SO SAD I CRIED JAMILA WAS INCREDIBLE
- Blow us all away, instead of Phillip going up and talking to eacker politely since he is in the middle of a show, he GOES ON STAGE AND CALLS HIM OUT
- AND THE “ACTORS” ONSTAGE JUST STOP TO WATCH THIS WHOLE THING UNFOLD IT WAS HILARIOUS
- The shooting on 7 catches me by surprise every time no matter what
- Stay Alive was just?? Heart breaking?? Eliza’s scream is REAL I forgot all about it and it just WRECKED me
- Same with all of its quiet uptown honestly I was just a mess
- Jefferson looks so shocked when Madison suggests he work with Hamilton, Burr is so confident throughout this whole song but gets upset when Jefferson tells him to thank Ham for the endorsement and just gets angrier
- In your obedient servant, ensemble members are passing the letters back and forth
- at the 30 years of disagreements line, ham just sends like 10 pages of paper over to burr who’s getting more and more exasperated by the second
- Best of wives best of women—ham covers his paper (probably a letter to Eliza/his will) when Eliza comes over so she doesn’t see it
- Best of wives and best of women: Ham and Eliza were so cute??? I’m dying I love them so much
- World was wide enough—the spotlights look like a target but then turn red when he lifts his gun oh my g o o d n e s s
- Miguel’s “I imagine death” monologue was just PERFECT I cried
And at the beginning of WLWDWTYS, when Jefferson talks about “Hamilton’s financial system is a work of genius, I could undo it if I tried... And I tried.”, he makes the “and I tried” part sound like “YEAH AND I TRIED OKAY GOSH” it was kinda funny now that I think about it
- All of wlwdwtys is just so perfect and when she starts talking about the orphanage she started crying which meant I started crying
- She gasps at the very end and the whole stage is dark except for her and I heard it was because she saw us and saw us telling his story and I just. started. bawling.
(*well I’m actually bi but IM SO GAY you get it)
And then we went to the stagedoor, I GOT MY PLAYBILL SIGNED (!!!!!!!!!) BY MIGUEL, MONTEGO, COLBY, EBRIN, ANDREW, KYLE WEILER (George Eaker), A N D MALLORY MICHAELANN WHO WAS THE BULLET AT THIS PERFORMANCE AND I GOT PICTURES WITH MIGUEL, MONTEGO, AND ANDREW OH MY GOSH I WAS COMPLETELY STARSTRUCK

A Tale of Magic - Chapter 4 (Sons)
In the past, Belle has to deal with an unexpected development. In Storybrooke, father-son relationships will move things forward.
As always, thanks to my wonderful beta @galactic-pirates.
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Ao3 link.
As the weeks passed, life found a new, pleasant rhythm inside and around the Evil Queen’s castle. Snow and David were doing a great job at organizing things so that everyone’s skills were put to good use; camps were cultivated under Tiny’s expert supervision, Marco coordinated the construction of new houses, and Regina’s magic was turning out to be a real blessing, especially when Blue refused to offer help with some issues. It was Regina who had to turn Archie back into a human when the fairy refused to do so.
“I turned him into a cricket to give him another chance at being free and, most importantly, being good. To turn him back would mean taking away the lesson he learned on that day,” was her only explanation.
Blue also resented the fact that several dwarves, beside Snow’s seven old friends, had decided to help around the castle rather than go back to the mines. The decrease in the production of fairy dust only seemed to irritate her more, making it even harder to obtain help from her, but aside from Blue’s sour mood things were going nicely.
Even Belle had been assigned to her dream occupation. She was now in charge of Regina’s old library, with the added duty of collecting and recording all of the knowledge that they had acquired through their cursed memories. She had been given a list of every person who had come to the castle, and she had noted beside everyone the fields in which they were knowledgeable. It was a pity that Whale had gone back to his old world, and not just because Ruby missed him terribly; medical knowledge had been way more advanced in the Land Without Magic, and it was definitely one of their highest priorities. Thankfully, a bunch of nurses had come over, giving her a place to start.
She went to talk to the first one early one morning, bringing parchment and ink down to the infirmary, so that nurse Lewis, Charlotte, could still be available if there was an emergency. Everything was going nicely, and Belle already had three sheets of parchment full of notes, when the other woman started cleaning something with alcohol. The pungent smell went straight to Belle’s stomach, and a second later she was fighting the need to throw up.
“I’m sorry,” she said as soon as she was able to talk again. “I haven’t been feeling well these past few weeks, and strong smells really don’t help.”
There was a curious look on the nurse’s face.
“For how long exactly? Why didn’t you say something sooner?” she asked.
“I don’t know, I guess since shortly after we came back to the Enchanted Forest. I just didn’t pay much attention at first because, well… my True Love had just died. Feeling sick was basically a constant state for me,” Belle explained. God, it still hurt so much to say it.
“My condolences,” Charlotte said immediately. “Look, I know this might be too blunt and possibly a shock for you, but have you considered the possibility that you might be pregnant?”
It took Belle several seconds to fully grasp the meaning of her words.
“No,” she said instinctively, without even thinking. “No, I can’t be, it’s not possible…”
But it was. Her voice trailed off as the realization hit her. She had been so caught up in her grief that she had missed all the signs: the sickness, her missing period, even her sudden and strange craving for lemon cakes. Her head started spinning, and she sat down heavily on the closest bed.
“I mean, it’s just a thought, you’re not certainly pregnant,” Charlotte said, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Belle shook her head. She might not have considered the possibility until then, but now she felt in her heart that it was the truth. She was pregnant. She was going to have Rumplestiltskin’s child, and she didn’t know if that made her feel better or worse. Now a part of Rumplestiltskin would always be with her, and their love would live on in the new life they had created together. Yet their child would never know its father, nor would she ever see Rumplestiltskin’s eyes lit up as he held his child for the first time. Images of the life they could have had flashed before her eyes, and knowing that they’d never become real felt like losing Rumplestiltskin all over again.
Neal was the first person she told about it. He was very surprised, then sympathetic, and eventually he managed to make her laugh by quipping about having always wanted to be a big brother. She had lost Rumple, but his children were still here, and she’d do her damnedest to take care of them as Rumple would have. Even though she had no idea where to start.
**********
By the time Neal and Henry arrived in Storybrooke, they had been attacked two more times. Emma and Regina were waiting for them at the townline, ready to fight off any other monkeys. Zelena’s beasts tried to keep anyone from leaving town, but coming back in was easier, as Emma herself had seen. Better safe than sorry, Emma thought, even though her magic was still quite unreliable. Regina was trying to teach her, but Emma was turning out to be quite a difficult student. She was full of potential, but she had trouble channeling her emotions into her spells. Emma would never admit it, but she suspected that part of her struggle was due to the fact that, deep down, she still hadn’t accepted all this magic craziness. She had started to after Henry ate that poisoned turnover, but he was the believer in the family, not her. After nine months back in the real world, with its normal problems, Storybrooke felt like nonsense. Dangerous nonsense. Back in New York, bills were her major problem. Now that magic was back in her life, the stakes had risen so much; she wasn’t struggling to make ends meet anymore, she was fighting to keep her family alive. Even though she knew this was technically her world, a part of her couldn’t help but long for the calm of her old life.
Henry rushed to hug her as soon as the car was safely across the townline, immediately making her mood lighter. Magic or not, she felt infinitely better with Henry in her arms. Neal came to hug her next, while Henry awkwardly shook hands with Regina. Emma could see the pain in her eyes at not being recognized by her own son, but there was nothing she could do about it. As much as it pained Regina to admit it, even she had agreed that it wasn’t wise to tell Henry that he’d actually been abandoned as a newborn. His world had just been turned upside down, and the last thing he needed was another shock, especially now that he knew he was in danger.
Neal decided to go back to his father’s house, to check on Belle and hopefully get some sleep. To Emma’s surprise, Henry hugged him before saying goodbye, even if he was somewhat awkward.
“I’ll see you tomorrow Neal… I mean dad, I mean… what do you want me to call you?” Henry asked, confused. Every word felt wrong on his tongue.
“It’s alright, you can still call me Neal if you want,” Neal reassured him immediately. “But should you feel like it, then call me ‘Papa’. It’s what I always called my father.”
Henry nodded, clearly more at ease, and Emma burned with curiosity. She wanted to know more about this sudden change in Henry and Neal’s relationship, but she didn’t want to pressure her son. She was pretty sure he wouldn’t keep silent about it for long anyway.
“I hit that monkey in the face, you know? Twice!” Henry said enthusiastically after they had parted from Regina as well.
“I hope the monkey didn’t do the same to you,” Emma replied, torn between pride and worry.
“Nope. It did try, but Neal always stopped it. He saved me, more than once. Not that I wasn’t able to take care of myself, but Neal helped. A lot,” Henry babbled, still high on adrenaline.
“I’m glad that you two are on better terms now. I’m sorry I had to leave you with him, especially when you didn’t trust him, but things have a tendency to go downhill pretty quickly in Storybrooke,” Emma explained.
“Because of magic?” Henry asked, still not quite able to believe it. “It’s all true then? Fairytale characters are real and a curse brought them here?”
“Yes. Crazy, right?” Emma said, smiling as she remembered the time when she had been the skeptical one.
“Neal said there are things from the past that we don’t remember. That our memories were erased and that we had met him before. That’s why you changed your mind about him?” he asked her. He didn’t think Neal could have come out with such an absurd explanation just to trick him, but he needed confirmation that his story and his mother’s matched.
“Yes. When we met him again, in the months you have forgotten, I discovered that there was a reason why he had left me alone. Not a great reason, but still better than him just wanting to run away with the money. He has been trying very hard to make it up to us, and he loves you very much,” Emma confirmed.
“I think he loves you as well. He gets emotional whenever he talks about you,” Henry said, curious at what his mother’s reaction would be.
“Maybe he does, but right now we don’t have time for that,” Emma brushed the matter off. “I’m more focused on getting your memory back and keeping you safe. We still don’t know what exactly that witch wants from all of us.”
Her attempt to change the subject was way too obvious to be missed. Henry wasn’t sure of what he thought of that, but he would surely keep a closer eye on his parents from now on. There was definitely a lot going on there.
**********
Ever since she had told the others that she was pregnant, Belle had hardly been left alone for a moment. There was always someone fussing over her, even more so than when she was ‘just’ grieving. She appreciated it, she truly did, but from time to time she felt the need to be alone with her thoughts, and the night was perfect for that. When she woke up from a nightmare - which was a common occurrence for her - she often saw no point in lying awake in the dark when there was no one to calm her and hold her as she fell back to sleep. So she got dressed and wandered through the castle, oftentimes ending up in the courtyard; she loved the flowers that grew there, and there was something bittersweet and soothing in looking up at the sky and wondering if Rumple was looking down at her from wherever he was.
That night, however, the courtyard wasn’t empty when she reached it. Regina was already sitting on one of the benches, and she turned around with a start when she heard Belle approaching.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you,” Belle apologized immediately, already turning her back on the other woman to walk away. She didn’t feel like talking, especially not with Regina.
“No, wait, I actually wanted to talk to you,” Regina said after a second, as if she had been debating whether to speak or not.
Belle sighed, her back still turned to the queen. She could simply walk away; they weren’t friends by any means, after all, and she was tired. Yet being so rude really went against her nature, and she supposed she could just hear what this was about and leave if the whole thing got uncomfortable. She walked towards the bench, reminding herself that this wasn’t the same woman who had imprisoned her and erased her personality at least twice.
“What do you want, Regina?” she asked, her voice coming out just a tad more annoyed than she had meant it to. If Regina noticed, she didn’t let it show.
“I just want you to know that I’m sorry for all that you’re going through. I didn’t say it before, but I really mean it,” Regina said somewhat awkwardly. “Losing your True Love is terrible, and you didn’t deserve this. Probably nobody does.”
Belle could see the honesty in Regina’s eyes, and she really wished she could simply accept her condolences and walk away, but something about her choice of words really set her off. She had been building up tension, grief and anger for so long, and suddenly something inside of her snapped.
“Then why did you do your damnedest to put me and Rumplestiltskin through that kind of pain over and over again?” she asked, her voice already cracking with tears. “Why should I listen to you when your scheming took away so much of the limited time I had with Rumple? You’ve done nothing but mentally and physically torture me ever since we’ve known each other!”
Regina was taken aback by her outburst, but the quick flash of indignation in her eyes died straight away to be replaced by guilt.
“I’m sorry,” she said after a beat of silence. “I truly am. I know I did horrible things to you, and you didn’t deserve them.”
She was a new person now, or at least she was trying to be, but it was so much harder in the Enchanted Forest, where everything and everyone seemed to remind her of her past.
“Thank you,” Belle deadpanned. “Look, I had to let this out sooner or later, but I really don’t want to fight. You’ve hurt me, and this apology was long overdue, but I’m willing to try and move past that now that you’re changing,” she added, her tone turning more conciliating.
“You know, in a way I actually admire you,” Regina blurted out, surprising even herself for having said it out loud. Belle looked quizzically at her, so she went on.
“I admire you because you have a strength I never had. You are willing to forgive people no matter how much they’ve hurt you, and despite everything that life - or I, for that matter - threw at you, you didn’t let it change you. Darkness is a slippery slope, and you’ve always managed to keep yourself away from it,” Regina explained.
“Is it truly a big deal if I’ve never even been tempted?” Belle asked, a small smile finally forming on her face. Try as she might, she had never truly seen the appeal of darkness. When things went south, she was prone to blaming herself, and that was something that no amount of dark magic could fix. “Maybe it’s people like you and Rumplestiltskin who deserve the most praise,” she went on “Those who were tempted and fell into the pit, and then fought tooth and nail to get out of it.”
Regina looked even more shocked by her understanding than she had been by her accusations, and flashed Belle a bittersweet smile.
“That child is very lucky to have you as its mother. Motherhood is Rumplestiltskin’s last gift to you, and believe me when I say it’s the best gift you’ll ever receive. It surely was for me,” Regina said, then she stood up and teleported away, vanishing into the night before Belle even had the time to wish her goodnight.
Belle sat on that bench for several more minutes, pondering the other woman’s words, one hand on her still flat belly. She hadn’t expected Regina to apologize, let alone to compliment her. If only she felt as strong as the other woman had said; as far as she could tell, Belle had merely been a spectator in her own life recently. From being used and tossed around as a pawn by everyone who wanted to get back at Rumple, to being literally frozen in place as her True Love died, to finally this pregnancy, which was wanted but definitely unplanned; she hadn’t chosen anything. That was the first thing she needed to fix if she wanted to give her child their best chance; she needed to be stronger, to stand up for herself like she had done today with Regina. She needed to do it, no matter how hard it was, because now it wasn’t just herself that she needed to protect.
**********
Neal was exhausted after the long drive from New York to Storybrooke, and he was glad that the situation in town was still calm enough to allow him to get some sleep. The peace, however, was short lived. When he woke up, Belle informed him that there had been strange sightings in the woods during the night.
“A cloaked figure was spotted by several people on patrol duty, and those that tried to get closer to it were either teleported away or thrown to the ground with magic,” she said over breakfast, pushing her food around her plate. “No one was seriously hurt, but everyone thinks that this is a sign that Zelena is moving. They are trying to find out who is under the cloak, but not even Ruby seems able to follow its trail.”
“Do you think it’s my father under the cloak?” Neal asked cautiously.
Belle sighed, setting her plate aside altogether. “I think it’s very likely. This cloaked figure isn’t even attacking us, it’s just going around ominously. I think it’s just a diversion, and what better diversion than to have us chase someone only to discover we can’t and won’t hurt him?”
“Have you told Snow about this?”
“Yes, I have, but she still thinks we ought to track it down, and I agree. If it’s not Rumple, maybe we can learn something more about the witch’s plan. If it’s him… at least we can know how he’s doing,” she said, twisting her napkin in her hands.
Under any other circumstances, she would have been out there looking for him herself. Zelena was controlling him through the dagger, but she already knew that her and Rumple’s love was stronger than his curse; if there was someone who could help him break free of the dagger’s hold, it was her. Maybe Neal could as well, but while she was sure that there was True Love between Rumple and his son, she also thought that their relationship was still too tentative to fight such powerful dark magic. Yet she couldn’t go trek in the woods this far along in her pregnancy, especially not when she knew that Zelena was coming after her baby.
“What really worries me isn’t that Snow and the others are tracking him down,” Belle added after a moment. “It’s that I don’t know what kind of orders that witch is giving him. What if she forces him to do something horrible, something he’ll have trouble forgiving himself for?”
Rumplestiltskin had been her prisoner for months now, and Belle only had the faintest idea of what she had been forcing him to do in that time. Every extra minute he spent under her control could be the one in which she made him cross the line, assuming she hadn’t already.
“Hey, he hasn’t had to cause any real harm so far, let’s focus on that. We will free him, I promise,” Neal reassured her.
“If only we had more time…” Belle murmured, caressing her large belly. Her son could be born any moment now, and Zelena would come for him. She had no idea of what would happen next, and she hoped she’d never find out.
“I know, and that’s why I’m going out to help Emma search the woods. I promise I’ll do anything to protect you and my little brother,” he said, smiling reassuringly at her.
He hugged her, then he left the pink mansion, stopping by his father’s shop to retrieve his old saber. Then he called Emma and they agreed to meet at the townline.
“Henry gave me hell this morning. He realized that something was wrong and kept insisting on coming with me. I left him with Granny, at least I know that someone is keeping an eye on him and he isn’t sneaking around and putting himself in harm’s way,” Emma told him as they started trekking through the woods.
“Yes, he definitely has a talent for that. I guess he takes after both of us,” Neal said, preferring to focus on the comical aspect of the whole thing rather than dwell on how much danger their son was in.
“It must run in your family. After all, your father is the one who decided to break into your apartment when we came looking for you in New York,” Emma observed.
“Are you telling me I should get my baby brother some lock-picking tools already?” Neal asked, chuckling.
Emma laughed with him, but their hilarity was short-lived. A shadow moved amidst the trees to their right, and they immediately ran after it. The cloaked figure waved a hand; Emma was engulfed by purple smoke and disappeared. Neal looked at the spot where she had been until a moment before, paralyzed by fear.
She has just been poofed away, he told himself. She’s fine, probably on the other side of town, but unharmed. He turned back, anger making him bold.
“What did you do to her?” he screamed, then launched himself at the cloaked figure, determined to find out who it really was, and possibly get some answers.
He shouldn’t have bothered; his opponent, instead of trying to run away as he’d expected, slowly raised his arms to lower his hood. When Neal saw who he was fighting against, Neal stopped dead in his tracks, his stomach in knots.
Belle had been right. The mysterious figure was indeed Rumplestiltskin, but only in part. There was very little of his papa in the deranged eyes of the imp in front of him. There was no fondness in his gaze, no torment over being controlled, no sign that he even realized who he was fighting against. His skin was once again covered in scales, his eyes reptilian and inhuman, and Neal felt as though one of his nightmares had just come to life.
The imp giggled maniacally as a sword materialized in its hands, and Neal wiped his clammy hands on his trousers as he realized that he’d have to fight the worst incarnation of his father. He didn’t know what had happened to him; his hope was that Zelena was simply forcing him to be like this to upset her enemies, but a part of Neal couldn’t help but fear that, after being imprisoned for so long, his father had simply succumbed to the curse.
He was so lost in his own fear that he almost failed to block Rumplestiltskin’s first attack. His instinct kicked in at the last moment, and the fight began. Even without using magic, Rumplestiltskin proved himself a great swordsman, and Neal soon found himself struggling against him, fatigue starting to slow down his movements while his father seemed unaffected, the curse providing him an unfair advantage. The situation was made even more difficult by the fact that Neal just wasn’t thinking clearly. Seeing his father like this had brought him back to his fourteenth birthday, awakening a fear he had thought long gone, and that was making it hard to concentrate on the fight. He felt despair starting to creep in; he couldn’t win this fight, he couldn’t stop Rumplestiltskin, he couldn’t run away. He was alone and alone he’d die. He thought of Henry, who was just starting to let him in again, and who didn’t deserve to grow up without a father. He thought of Rumplestiltskin, who would never forgive himself for harming his son while he was under the dagger’s influence. He thought of Belle, who had already gone through so much, and who would be devastated at losing him. Lastly, he thought of Emma, and of how he would leave her alone again.
Rumplestiltskin attacked him, and the sheer force of his blow was enough to make the saber fly out of Neal’s hands. Disarmed and defeated, Neal took a step back, his back colliding with a tree. That was it then. He would be killed by his own father, by the man he had loved and feared the most. Rumplestiltskin roughly grabbed him by the neck, and Neal closed his eyes, bracing himself for the worst.
It was in that moment that an anguished scream echoed through the forest.
“Papa NO!” Henry yelled, bursting out from behind the trees, Emma, Regina and Granny trailing right behind him.
Papa. Papa. Papa. The word kept bouncing around Rumplestiltskin’s brain, becoming louder and louder, drowning out the voices in his head. He doubled over, cradling his head in his own hands and letting Neal go.
Neal rushed to hug his son, both terrified and relieved to have him here.
“Rumplestiltskin teleported me back to the loft,” Emma explained. “Henry refused to let me come back alone, and I didn’t have time to argue. I called Regina and she poofed us back here.”
Neal nodded in understanding, then he turned around to look at his father again. Rumplestiltskin looked confused, even more deranged than before, but there was something human in his distress, something that hadn’t been there before. He had dropped his sword to the ground, and  was eyeing them curiously. After a beat of silence, a single word escaped his lips.
“Bae.”
Neal stood paralyzed for a moment, almost not daring to believe it.
“Papa? You remember me?” Neal asked, taking a few tentative steps in his father’s direction.
That word again. Papa. Images flashed before Rumplestiltskin’s eyes, making the present more confusing but the past more clear. The tiny hand of a newborn touching his nose. A thin, fragile kid asking him why his mother wasn’t coming home. A boy screaming at him that he was a coward. A grown man hugging him and telling him he was nothing like Peter Pan. And above all, that word repeated over and over again: Papa. Rumplestiltskin staggered forward, towards the man he had been fighting until a few moments ago. He didn’t want to hurt him anymore. He couldn’t. He shouldn’t.
But you have to, another voice resonated in his head, a vicious whisper that made his skin crawl. Fight him, scare him, be his nightmare, the voice went on, and Rumplestiltskin watched in horror as his hands moved against his own volition, working magic he didn’t want to perform. Everyone but Neal was paralyzed, and Rumplestiltskin grabbed his sword again, as Neal hurried to retrieve his saber. This time, however, there was no fear in Neal’s eyes.
“I know you’re in there. I know you can hear me. I don’t want to hurt you,” Neal said as his father attacked him again. Rumplestiltskin’s movements were slower now, his hands trembling; Neal hoped it was a sign that he was trying to stop himself.
“I know you’re being forced to do this. I know you’d never try to hurt me, as I know you’re not the monster I once feared you were turning into. I’m not scared of you anymore, I’m not scared of the darkness anymore,” Neal insisted, as his father walked backwards, blocking his attacks with increasing difficulty.
Rumplestiltskin looked relieved when his sword finally slipped from his grip, falling to the ground. He looked at his son, struggling to quiet all the voices in his mind, to clear the fog just long enough to say something. He knew there was something important he needed to tell him, many important things actually, but he couldn’t for his life make out what those were.
“I’m sorry,” was all he managed to murmur in the end. Then he vanished in a puff of smoke, Neal’s saber disappearing with him. Emma and the others were freed from his spell, and Neal rushed to their side.
“I was so scared for you,” Henry screamed, all but jumping in his arms.
“It’s okay, I’m alright,” Neal reassured him. “I don’t like the idea of you running around and putting yourself in harm’s way, but I have to admit that I probably wouldn’t have made it without you. Hearing you call me ‘Papa’ gave me strength.”
“Hey, I think I showed you on our way here that we work better as a team; plus I just found you, I’m not going to let some crazy monster take you away right now,” Henry said,  almost embarrassed by his own display of affection. Just yesterday he had barely tolerated Neal’s presence, and now here he was, already calling him Papa. True, they had spent several hours just saving each other over and over again, but there was more to it. He knew that they had met during the months that he couldn’t remember, and he was sure that some part of those memories had been preserved; nothing else could explain the deep, visceral trust that he now felt towards his father, together with a great sense of belonging. He might not remember the time they’d spent together, but that didn’t make it any less real, and some part of him knew it.
Neal’s emotional rollercoaster wasn’t over yet. He had been utterly terrified, then conquered one of his greatest fears, and now his son was beaming up at him in pride, and he felt almost giddy with happiness. He leaned down to press a kiss on Henry’s forehead, hoping that he wasn’t overstepping, just desperate to let his son know how much he meant to him.
That’s when a burst of magic rippled from his lips, sweeping over the town in the form of a rainbow. The curse was broken, and Neal looked flabbergasted at his son while Henry staggered under the flood of memories.
“Papa!” he screamed again, wrapping his arms tighter around Neal. “I remember everything!”
Then he spotted Regina looking almost disbelievingly at him.
“Mom!” he said, running over to her.
Regina felt as though her heart had finally started beating again. She wrapped Henry in her arms, immediately noticing how much taller he had grown during the past nine months. Tears welled up in her eyes, but for once she didn’t mind; she had her son back, and for a moment Zelena didn’t look like much of a threat. So long as Henry was by her side, she felt she could do anything.
**********
Rumplestiltskin poofed back into the cabin, his head still swirling in confusion as his aspect turned human again.
“You did a great job,” Zelena complimented him as he staggered back into his cage, shying away from the dagger that she held against him. “I got everything I wanted, and even more.”
She had sent Rumplestiltskin out to collect a token of Neal’s courage, and the saber with which he defeated his greatest fear fit the description perfectly. What she hadn’t expected was a clue on how to get Rumplestiltskin out of his madness.
“Soon enough you’ll be fully sane again, and then you’ll see how wrong you were all those years ago. I want to see the despair in your face when you realize you should have chosen me,” she hissed at him, watching with satisfaction as fear glimmered in his eyes.
Zelena cackled as she walked away: like everyone else, Rumplestiltskin had just no idea of how much worse things were going to get.

For @hollyspacey. A little something I wrote based on a story you told me ages ago. I had to take some creative freedom with the content but the inspiration definitely came from you. Happy belated birthday, my friend.
“Would you stop fidgeting? People are staring.”
Darcy threw a fleeting glance at an annoyed Jane before going back to spying on the open double doors. All evening, she had been keeping an eye out for Natasha, who had promised her an introduction with her favorite Avenger, the Winter Soldier.
Stark’s New Year’s Eve ball was in full swing but neither the Widow nor the Winter Soldier had made an appearance yet. Despite being nervous as hell, Darcy was beginning to think maybe the redhead had been having her on.
“What if he’s not coming?” she asked Jane, who was gazing longingly at a happy group of scientists standing some distance away. Tony Stark was right in the center of the group, as always commanding all the attention.
Jane tore her eyes from the sight and glared at Darcy. “What if I don’t care?”
Her salty response went unheard as Darcy rambled on. “Oh God, Jane! I swear I’m gonna die of nervousness. Nat says he’s reserved. What if he doesn’t talk to me? Or looks at me like I’m a silly fangirl?”
“No!” Jane gasped comically. “Why would he ever?”
“No, really. What should I say to him? Quick, help me think of something smart.”
“A minute ago, you were wondering whether he’d even show up.”
“It’s a valid concern.” Darcy paused and fluffed her hair for the hundredth time. “But it’s the eve of a new year and I have hope. Besides—”
“There they are,” Jane announced, cutting her off.
“What!”
The astrophysicist cackled when Darcy squeaked and jumped a foot in the air, her head swiveling to the double doors in blatant excitement, only to slump and turn back to Jane with a huff.
“Thanks,” she said. “You’re evil.”
“And you’re pathetic.”
“At least I’m not a liar!”
Jane rolled her eyes. “I don’t understand what you’re so worked up about, Darce. He’s just a guy.”
“A really nice, amazing, brave and attractive guy,” Darcy added emphatically. “He’s an Avenger! He’s not just some guy. I’m just a girl.”
“You’re amazing, too.”
“Yes, but he doesn’t know that.”
Jane sighed in resignation and gave up trying to make her friend see sense. The girl was apparently a goner, and when Darcy lost it, it was better to wait and let her calm down by herself.
Ten agonizing minutes later—during which Jane had to endure all kinds of crazy questions from “do my breasts look too big in this dress?” to “do you think he likes blanket forts?”—Natasha Romanoff finally arrived on the arm of Bruce Banner, followed by a subdued looking Bucky Barnes. All three of them made a beeline for the bar. Bruce especially looked like he could use some liquid courage to get him through the night.
Jane, having spotted them first, nudged Darcy. “They’re here.”
The brunette scoffed and barely looked up from her phone, in which she was obsessively checking her reflection. “Ugh. I look so slutty in this dress, Janey. Look at the amount of cleavage I’m flashing! I should have worn a scarf. Or a cardigan. You think that guy over there will lend me his coat?”
“You look fine,” Jane hissed, seizing Darcy’s jaw and forcing her face up. “Look over there.”
“Jane, what—oh!” Her eyes widened and a tiny moan escaped her lips. Jane let go of her immediately. “He’s here. Oh God, he’s here! What are we gonna do? What are we… shit, sorry for poking you!” Jane rubbed her throbbing eye while Darcy gushed, “Have you ever seen anyone so beautiful?”
“Everyone in this room is beautiful.”
“Hey, I just thought of the perfect ice breaker.”
“You’re not asking the Winter Soldier how much a polar bear weighs.”
“Why not?” She pulled out her phone excitedly. “I’m gonna take a picture of his thighs, just in case I never see him again.”
Jane dragged a weary hand down her face. It was like talking to a rock. Nothing except the Winter Soldier’s presence seemed to be penetrating Darcy’s mind, least of all good judgment. She caught Natasha’s eye and waved frantically.
“Over here!”
Jane had no doubts about the hilarity that would ensue thereafter, but even she could not predict the level of embarrassment her best friend would have to endure in the next few minutes.
While Bruce went to join the circle of conferring scientists, Natasha dragged Barnes in the direction of the two women, one of whom was subtly trying to adjust her dress again.
“Nat!” Jane greeted, giving the redhead a quick hug. “I was starting to think you had ditched us.”
“The thought crossed my mind… but I had a promise to keep.” Natasha’s green eyes twinkled as she threw Darcy a wink. “Barnes isn’t too keen on parties. I had to bribe him to make an appearance.” The man beside her said nothing, so she casually pointed at each woman and said, “Dr. Jane Foster. Darcy Lewis. They’re visiting Stark for the holidays. Ladies, meet Bucky Barnes, popularly known as the Weiner Soldier.”
Barnes grunted.
“I mean, the Winter Soldier.” Natasha smirked. “Oops.”
Jane suppressed a snort and smiled politely. “Sergeant Barnes.”
He didn’t seem inclined to do anything but nod. Jane was fine with it. Darcy wasn’t. She thrust out her hand and held it between them until a surprised Barnes finally reached for it and gave it a gentle shake.
Darcy let out a giggle, uttered a breathy hi, and forgot that handshakes were meant to be brief. With his hand still clasped securely in hers, she stammered, “I… uh… make excellent blanket forts.”
Jane resisted the urge to slap a hand to her forehead.
Barnes looked utterly nonplussed by her unexpected declaration and Jane could hardly blame him. Darcy’s quirkiness was bewildering at best and annoying at worst, but once you got used to it, nothing seemed more entertaining than her ability to say absolutely anything at any given moment.
Right now, it didn’t seem like she had the wits to follow her statement with an explanation. In fact, judging by her expression and the way her eyes closed as if to say ‘what the frakity frak, Darcy?!’, she definitely hadn’t intended on blanket forts being the first words out of her mouth when she met her long time crush.
“Don’t worry,” Jane jumped to the rescue. “She’s not fishing for compliments.”
Darcy turned pink and hastily shook her head when Barnes looked back at her. Despite her uncharacteristic bout of shyness, her wide eyes were trained firmly on him, as if afraid he would disappear if she looked away or let go of his hand.
“She’s not crazy either,” Jane added. “Our girl here doesn’t have the best record with first meetings.”
“She tazed Thor when he first landed on Earth,” Natasha supplied helpfully. “And sprayed Sam with red ink when they met.”
That seemed to pique Barnes’ interest. The tension around his eyes started to ease and his lips parted in a faint smile. When he spoke, his voice was low and gruff. (Jane had to admit, it was pretty sexy.)
“I’m sure birdbrain deserved it.”
Darcy’s jaw dropped and she nodded vigorously. “He… yeah, he did. Do you… want to know what happened?”
“Yeah.”
While a beaming Darcy launched into her tale, Jane turned to an amused Natasha and whispered, “What are we doing? She’s gonna eat him alive.”
The redhead grinned. “He may look broody, but he’s just as wild.”
“What exactly do you think is going to happen here?”
“Dunno. I’m just doing my part as the Avengers’ personal Cupid. Barnes needs someone fun and sassy like Lewis.”
Jane rolled her eyes. “Ever the matchmaker.”
“I try.” There was a pause, then Nat murmured, “Let’s make this interesting. Ten bucks says they get together by the end of this week.”
It was wrong to bet on a friend’s love life but it was also stupid to refuse an opportunity to bet against the Widow. She may be the winner of several Avenger betting pools, but Jane knew Darcy the best. This bet was hers.
Alright. Twenty says she embarrasses herself before the night ends.”
“You’re on.”
Darcy and Bucky were still talking about Sam Wilson when both women tuned back into their conversation. Out of all the things in the world, it was their shared love of antagonizing the Falcon that had done the trick. They were bonding, and although Darcy appeared to be doing most of the talking, Barnes didn’t look like he minded. His eyes frequently crinkled in amusement as he listened to her speak. Jane noticed his hand was still trapped in hers and his thumb moved almost absently across the back of Darcy’s hand.
“We should go,” Nat announced after a while. “There are a few people who want to meet us. Also, Steve’s over there being a wallflower again.” The redhead jerked her thumb to the left and sure enough, on the other side of the room, the Captain was silently lurking in the shadows with a glass of whiskey in hand. “I need to teach him some manners.”
Barnes followed her gaze and huffed out a fond laugh. “He’s worse than me. Punk hates parties.” He shook his head and turned back to Darcy. “It was nice to meet you, Ms. Lewis.” He squeezed her hand and almost looked reluctant to let it go.
“Nice to meet you too, Mr. Soldier. No, that’s not right. I mean, Sergeant Soldier… I mean…” she trailed away, flustered. “Shit.”
Barnes bit back a smile. “Call me Bucky.”
Jane shot a smug smile at Natasha. She was winning. Just one last thing to do. “Hey, why don’t we all take a picture together, yes? For memory’s sake.”
Darcy perked up. “Great idea.” She’d wanted a selfie with Bucky Barnes forever. She whipped out her phone and all four of them stepped closer to each other. They stood primly for the first couple of clicks. Then, Natasha made duck lips and Jane winked. Darcy stuck out her tongue and Bucky laughed. Someone behind them belched comically and that made him laugh more.
“Let’s see them,” Jane said, stealing the phone from Darcy and swiping through the pictures. “These are so good.”
“That’s the first time I’ve seen Barnes laugh all week,” teased Natasha, looking over her shoulder.
“Just because I don’t find your jokes funny,” Bucky began.
“Hey, what’s this?” Jane cut in, holding up the phone so they could all see the picture Darcy had taken earlier of Bucky Barnes’ wonderfully muscular thighs.
Darcy cried out and snatched the phone from Jane’s hand, but it was too late. They had already seen what was in there. She went bright red and so did Bucky. But he also looked like he was trying not to smile, which was a good sign.
“That’s not… I mean, I didn’t…” While Darcy hopelessly tried to explain the photograph, Natasha pulled a twenty dollar bill from her bra and handed it to Jane.
“You knew, didn’t you?”
“Yep,” Jane said cheerfully.
“… it’s for scientific reasons, I swear,” Darcy finished lamely, picking at her dress and avoiding his eyes.
Bucky cleared his throat. “That… makes sense, I guess.”
He was humoring her. Jane decided she liked him.
The sudden awkwardness that had settled over them was cute… and kinda funny. Everyone knew Nat was a sucker for such situations and liked to revel in them, but she said they really needed to mingle, so Jane nodded and watched as both Avengers bade them farewell and walked away.
“Bye.” Darcy let out a long breath and then rounded on Jane. “What the hell? Why would you do that to me?”
Jane could have responded with sass or she could have apologized, but frankly, she was more interested in the way Bucky turned one last time to take a peek at Darcy.
Oh, it was going to be a good new year indeed.

Neuralgia/ADA/GOP-On-The-Run
Cycle 7, Day 19
First of all, next week’s my “week off,” which is usually just a blood-draw, however, because it also marks Dad’s birthday, which he’s intimated is supposed to be A Party of Special Magnificence, so I’ll be in the greater SoCal area during my “off week,” and, with my brother at hand in a festive mood, there’s a chance I won’t come to my senses until November. So, unless something goes spectacularly wrong at next week’s blood-draw, there’s a chance I’ll only update/write about random goings-on, or Dad’s giant, dragon-shaped firework (that isn’t a euphemism, I’ve been explicit that I want to see wizards, halflings, the whole deal).
Today, however, I’d like to draw some attention to my own physical disabilities (such as they are), why large chunks of the country aren’t ADA-compliant (I don’t even mean in a paved sense), and your very corrupt, local congressman, if you’re from a rural area (almost guaranteed).
So, even though I am automatically, federally-qualified as disabled (look it up under “compassionate allowances”). However, 80% of applicants eventually get disability coverage because - here’s a shocker - when people can’t do their jobs or survive normally, that tends to be noticeable, unless you have an extremely advanced neurodegenerative disease (in which case, you get to be president). And when I applied for disability, no one was, shall I say, directly unpleasant, but I got the very distinct impression that everyone would rather be doing something else. It wasn’t until I actually wrote my own condition down and told the social security rep to call their boss and give them that diagnosis that I got a bit of an attitude change. So, most disabled folks tend to be somewhat sensitive about it, because it is a pain in the ass (sometimes literally) and society is very much stacked against us. I actually wouldn’t even have given it much thought unless I had to fill out and file paperwork on it. Again, be kind and patient (that’s the general message), and don’t assume. I prefer to be called “crippled,” because I feel that word accurately captures both what happened to me, and and how it’s effected me.
To that, I also get passing privilege, because I can walk (though steep stairs and long sprints are out), and you’d only tell my left side is off if you were familiar with me. So, a neurologically-mangling injury usually occurs in one of two ways, externally (or externally-derived), which is usually what you associate with disabled vets, or internally (either due to clot, stroke, or cancer/tumor).. In the former type, you’d see nerve damage below the injury point. In the latter type, it’s a little harder. Everything in the brain is integrated - physically -  it’s a little harder to keep track of the higher-order, Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius) functions, especially since you develop new neural pathways throughout your life. But, just for the physical functions, damage to the brain occurs on the opposite side of the body, and it’s a half-body thing (most of my left-side is unreliable in the right circumstances, but for day-to-day use, it’s just the lower leg and lower arm). And these can be anything from noticeable motor impairments to, in my case, “diminished sensation.” Again, I’m just speaking for myself, but neuralgia - the reduced/lost sensations and/or pain of nerve damage - is a killer for folks like me. In my own case, if you’ve ever had minor oral surgery or a filling where the dentist got a little careless injecting the novocaine, you’ll be familiar with the numbness issue. Your muscles worked just fine, but without sensation, it’s hard to orient them enough to get them to work. That’s a rather extreme example, and it’s not terribly accurate for me, but it’ll give you an idea of what I’m talking about. Again, unless you know me, it’s kind of hard to spot me (I only hobble on inclines). Unless you knew I’d been trained as a pianist for a number of years when I was much younger, you’d have a tough time guessing my left hand has trouble with buttons. And, fortunately, the legal definition of disabilities isn’t limited to “patient is mostly-functional, but severely reduced by previous-standards.” (I also really do spend an hour or two in the gym every day, if only because I want a body capable of absorbing and metabolizing every last damned drop of marizomib they can pump into me)(which, come to it, is probably some sort of admission of addiction). I am, however, going to start referring to my left arm as “my Grendel arm,” because, if I’m attacked by Vikings, I intend to let that side take the damage (again, it won’t be as painful because of that “reduced sensation” problem I run into when I’m very tired)(and, hopefully, when I’m on fire and being attacked by Norsemen seeking retribution for
Speaking of legal issues, now’s a good time as any to point out that vast swathes of the country are near-impossible to live in if you’re, let’s say, medically-compromised. Now, I realize that I’m a very special, special-needs patient/citizen in that my existence is dependent on technology that’s beyond the ragged, bleeding edge of most hospitals - most states, as it turns out. But that’s going to be true of just being able to access decent care in most places, even for something relatively simple, like the heart disease currently building up in the Boomers. And I bring that up because, in most places, your elected federal officials are actually working against your best interest. Frequently with your consent. And these are, in my experience, always in rural districts. The party of your representative isn’t an issue, I’d bet; the issue is whether you live in a zip code with a population density closer to Los Angeles, or Maine. Americans (or, health-industry lobbyists) made a hullabaloo about Obamacare (or, as it’s formally known, the Affordable Care Act - the ACA). However, for people like me, it did help knock down things that will kill Grandma and Granpa, like lifetime limits (I’ve reached and exceeded those probably ten years ago), and - this is big - prior conditions. These are both weasel terms used by insurance companies to reduce patient numbers. Again that wasn’t a major issue for me until an orange-haired idiot came into office, promising to change all that. At the time - these were in the intertumor years - I was living in Utah. Here’s an important thing to understand when someone is actively working to undermine your life expectancy; they’re not going to be honest about it. And, in my experience, elected officials from rural areas tend to have more in common with Boss Hogg than they do Mr. Smith, but that could be because the first Congressman I met “representing” me was Jerry Lewis (that was his nom de guerre)(but not his real name)(also not his real hair), who was almost hilariously sleazy, and consistently plagued by corruption accusations. Which, uh, I think, describes almost all of the Congressmen who represented that district. So, you can imagine my complete lack of interest at being pushed and prodded and shoved in front of a congressional underling at the sitting Congressman’s office (this was Chris Stewart - or his local office, BTW).
We will ignore the odd decorating decision to include a large photo of a bomber with an explosion on it - I guess it’d been made by a constituent. We were met by - as expected - an office underling. The hiring and firing and promoting of office staff in small districts is usually pretty sordid. That’s not some sort of slanderous accusation; all professional politicians are legally prohibited from directly employing their companies or family members. Most, like Ron Paul, figure out a workaround until those pesky Congressional Ethics reports come out. The assistant in front of us assured us - in the wake of GOP populism that’d swung in just a few weeks earlier, that the Congressman didn’t like his job, only did it because no one else was stepping up, and was all in favor of term limits and revolving door policies - basically, the sort of pep-talk I always look for in the medical industry when looking for a well-qualified specialist (”Yeah, he’s great at his job, but he dislikes it and is only waiting for an opportunity to get out.”). The assistant was not the Congressman’s chief adviser on health care (I can only assume that was some wildly unqualified lobbyist from Pfizer, but that’s pure speculation). You know what really sends out a message of professionalism and receptiveness to constituent needs? When a constituent calls to schedule an appointment to voice concerns regarding health legislation, and the person qualified to answer such things isn’t in the office. Anyway, even though the assistant didn’t have any answers to most of my questions, he assured us that the congressman didn’t want to cut anyone’s insurance, but thought that a free market - the standard BS filler that comes from someone who has never been thrown out of a hospital (yes, this happens, folks, it made headlines in Baltimore a few years ago). Upon later checking, the assistant had actually actively lied about both issues, based on the Congressman’s actual voting record. Again, I don’t think he’s alone, I just think rural Congressman who coast on for a career based on name recognition aren’t used to an informed, angry public making proper inquiries. At least have the guts to tell me it’s more immediately profitable to kill me than to keep me alive; we’ll have to agree to disagree, but I get it. To make a long story short, because of Utah’s combination of hilariously inadequate insurance coverage for people like me, and my stubborn refusal to settle for less-than-best when seeing neurology specialists, I’m no longer a constituent. Thank you, sir, you ran me off your land, kudos. But I’m certainly not alone. Again, the Boomers are at an age where they’re going to be dropping dead of heart disease, cancer, etc. That’s not some dire, emo warning, either, it’s just that they’re all in their 60′s or above, and, until 2013, almost half of the US was either uninsured or disastrously uninsured. I think the HMO system will last two dozen cases of wheeling grandma and grandpa into the cold street before it comes to an end. But what the hell do I know? I’m just a sick person who’s had to learn insane amounts.about the health insurance industry and pharmaceutical companies to make it this far.
