A library of free-to-use Solarpunk art ☀️

A friend of mine launched this website yesterday, it's meant to promote human-made Solarpunk illustrations, so that we'll see less blurry, wobbly, weird fucking skyscrapers covered in vague green blobs attached to Solarpunk-related articles etc.

All the images available are under some version of the Creative Commons license! You can use them for zines, blog posts, papers, social media banners and so on, as long as you give credit and don't restrict others' access to them either.

If you yourself have an illustration you think would be a good fit, you can submit it here :D

Emma Trosse, German sexuality researcher, 1897

Teacher, diabetes clinician and sexuality researcher Emma Trosse wrote these words in 1897, becoming one of our earliest examples of someone self-identifying as what we would today call asexual.

rereading Little Stray Feathers by Maternal_Macrophage / @egginfroggin on tumblr) again, so I decided to finally draw some old thoughts I had :)

I forget which chapter it was, but Meta remarked that the wind stings his face when GK flies with him. In the fic, there's no hint of when Meta might get his mask, but I thought it'd be a cute hypothetical for Meta to get it as a gift to help with the stinging :)

I'm still deciding how I want to draw Galacta's hair, but I recycled the braid from these drafts for some cute bonding :)
