going thru my childhood art rn and i keep finding more and more PMD(time/darkness) fanart. i don't think i've ever been more not-normal about a piece of media in my life..... just unearthed a "poster" of me, my partner, and the ghost of grovyle staring off into the sunset together and was hit with the memory of how i had that thing hanging over my bed+window for so long. i would stare at it reverently all the time i literally wanted that game to be my reality so bad.

Alright new Jason Todd headcanons in a dpxdc setting:
Danny is a "liminal" ghost, rather than a "half" ghost. He's alive and dead at the same time. (He's like Jesus Christ (in the church denomination I grew up in), fully ghost and fully human.) Danny, in human form, can go through a ghost shield, because he IS a living human.
Jason, however, is a reanimated corpse. He isn't a ghost, wouldn't have a ghost core, etc, he has a normal human system that runs ON ectoplasm. Jason CANNOT go through a ghost shield, because he is always an ectoplasmic entity. Danny can go through the Fenton Ghost Catcher and be split into a ghost and a human; if Jason went through the ghost catcher, he would straight up die.
(For my purposes I'm gonna say that Jason became an ectoplasmic entity upon his resurrection, but wasn't very stable. Dunking in the Lazarus pit stabilized his system but also poisoned his ectoplasm.)
I do think that Jason could learn certain ghost abilities if he learned to harness his ectoplasm, especially if they detoxed him off the Lazarus waters. He's probably already enhancing his stealth and strength in ways he hasn't really noticed. I think he's held back by the amount of physical matter he's lugging around, so maybe he couldn't fly, but I'm imagining temporary invisibility, or intagibility of like, a limb at a time. Maybe he can't walk through walls, but in a fight he can dodge by instinctively making the targeted part of his body intangible.

I promise I’ll make fluffy art of the isat crew here soon :) but for now here is more feelings buddies material
also, I need suggestions for what scenes from isat to draw👀 if you have a timestamp from a video of a scene that’s even better, but I just need some ideas for what to draw

I like how Ojiro Sato and Shishido and some other characters are also in the USA team but almost all of the scenes in New York only showed these two

can we have some moth with a cold blooded reader, like reader is naturally freezing cold and doesn't give off heat for whatever reason, but they actually enjoy the cold rather than feeling discomfort or pain!
oh my moon and stars i have so many friends like this, i sometimes wonder if they're secretly reptiles
Foul Legacy can withstand extreme cold- the Abyss is like ice no matter what, after all- but he's pretty sure that most humans aren't supposed to be able to! then again, Childe and all of Snezhnaya immediately contradict that by living in one of the coldest surface areas of Teyvat, so at this point the poor Abyssal moth is just confused. still, he makes sure to keep a close eye on you whenever you run around in the snow or in the freezing dead of night, yet you never seem to worry or fall ill. you're cold to the touch, just like him, and seem to relish leaning against Foul Legacy and leeching his chill away like a freezing little vampire. he doesn't feel the cold very much, but even Legacy lets out a small yelp of surprise whenever you wrap your arms around him, hair and fur fluffing up into a soft, poofy cloud
summer is atrocious for everyone, you because it's way too warm and you miss the cold, and Foul Legacy because you have a tendency to lean against his cold armor and sap away the frosty feeling. you develop the habit of munching on ice cubes to help with the heat, Legacy's fangs crunching on a much larger chunk and his tongue inevitably sticking to a few places. luckily, due to his Hydro Vision, he can easily make a few watery narwhals, sending them floating and flipping over to you and brushing against your cheeks with a lovely coolness. at the very least, Childe is immensely happy with this revelation. why? because this means that you would adore being in Snezhnaya, and he's wanted to take you to visit his family for the longest time, so he can officially introduce you as his beloved

I wonder what Liko and Amethio will talk about in the cave. My current guess is that Liko could somehow bring up something that weighs on her mind and open up to Amethio. We've seen that she was aware that Roy and Dot were worrying about her and tried to cheer her up to not "inconvenience" them further (which is such a Liko thing to do), so maybe the things she cannot tell Roy or Dot and that she'd rather keep to herself, she would bring up around Amethio. In turn, Amethio could also tell her something that weighs on his mind because he doesn't really have anyone to share things with since he doesn't seem to have friends (outside Soublades). I think it would be neat if they had a talk that is exclusive to both characters and maybe realize it's actually easy to talk to one another when it comes down to it.
Liko is going through similar steps as Amethio right now (Amethio also went through losses that made him stronger after facing Friede, Rayquaza and Hamber). So maybe the events that will unfold with Amethio are going to motivate Liko even further, which would fit since Amethio is connected to her growth as a trainer. Explicitly shown through the writing this time too since they brought up the battle on Roy's island back in HZ006 and had Amethio highlight and directly comment on Liko's progress (which also means he was paying close attention and remembered the events from back then). And he is the one showing up after Liko's confrontation with Grusha, to challenge everything she's been through up until that moment. Maybe Amethio's involvement will be key in Liko eventually passing her course somehow and making her stronger. Which is interesting, because by directly opposing Liko, Amethio is contributing to her growth, which will eventually serve as fuel for her to stand against the Explorers.
Also wondering if we'll get another "thank you" this time, just like towards the end of HZ045.. Maybe Liko thanking Amethio at the end after they manage to get out from the cave, and his reply would be different from the previous time and he would be more honest in his words. Or Liko thanking Soublades. Since they are shown sitting next to a fire to keep warm, maybe Soublades is the one who lit it, so I could see Liko saying thanks. I think they could use this opportunity to interact with each other's Pokemon.
I'm also curious whether Friede will show up to the cave or not. We know he's heading out to look for her while Grusha will help Roy and Dot, so will he show up once she is out or before that? Mostly because I wonder if Liko and Amethio's moment will remain their "secret" and something that remains between the two of them, or if Friede will be there and see Amethio. Next episode will mark twenty episodes since Friede and Amethio teamed up against Rayquaza together, so I wonder if they'll have an opportunity to interact before the current chapter ends. Amethio's connections to Liko and Friede are his most prominent ones out of the main group and they kind of grow together, so I wonder how things could change going forward.

TRAPP HEIR DROWNS must've been a headline the next morning. It must've been news. The eldest child of one of the city's richest and most powerful families is suddenly dead in a tragic accident. Not important enough to make THE headline, surely, but there's plenty of front page below the fold, more than enough space to cover the misfortunes of Newfaire's old money.
The Periphery must have archived with the case file an interview with Nathaniel Trapp, aged 9, brother of the decedent, only witness to the event. Did the officer try to reassure Nathaniel that he was not in trouble? Even if they did, Nathaniel certainly never believed them.
How far under and far downstream did the water pull his brother? Did the river not want to give him back? Did they have to recover his body from the river, Periphery boats and diving teams and all? A family as powerful as the Trapps, they could demand the entire river upended. For their golden child, they would too. How long did it take to find him? Did they ever? For how many days longer did they look for him than they did that South Soffit kid who vanished the month prior?
How long was this the talk of the town? Were there rumors of foul play? Bully pulpit speeches about the disparity in attention and care across social class lines? Small talk just to fill the space wondering if they found that Trapp kid? Unsolicited opinions of what people think really happened?
Does everyone over a certain age remember when this happened? When Nathaniel Trapp introduces himself to some, does this come to mind? Is this memory he tried to forget remembered by the historical record and social memory of Newfaire? Do they hear his name, see how old he is, and think: old money, the metro, dead brother?

"bridgerton is bad but that's okay bc we need bad tv shows in the ecosystem" i'm afraid y'all have no idea what actually makes a tv show bad. a tv show's a plot being romance doesn't mean there's no depth to it. bridgerton is in fact a deep dive into the very human experience of romance and what it means to love someone romantically. it's not a show about romance for the sake of artistic sex scenes, the sex scenes are in service to the exploration of romance that the show does. what makes a tv show bad is when you watch it and have no idea what it's saying. the writers can even go "this is what we're saying" but that doesn't necessarily matter. the actual content of the show has to say it. and that's what bridgerton does. like i have to laugh so i don't get too angry bc ppl who say bridgerton is bad like it's an objective fact are just assuming, bc of internalized misogyny, that anything with romance as its a plot is automatically not prestige tv or whatever. fuck that.
