I was part of my school's Judo team, and went on to attend a few tournaments. I didn't pursue it after graduating tho :O~

I like to sing! I trained professionally for around 12 years starting from when I was in elementary school, but then I stopped once I started Uni.

I love love love spicy food and have high tolerance to it :3 I will willingly set fire to my stomach and die happilly, too.

Hello Moon ! (And @annawayne too, hi ! Thank you both for asking ! I’ll answer for you two here if that's ok because i’m not that interesting honestly-)

Hmmm 3 random things about me, let’s see…

► I love everything about space, and have looked up at the sky since I was a little kid. I wanted to be an astronaut for a long time ! Even if i didn't pursue it i'm still super enthusiastic about everything happening above my head !

► I started drawing because I wanted to tell my own stories. I sucked at writing at the time (and still do I guess-) so I decided to try drawing instead ! I was young and naive and stupid and didn’t think I needed a minimum of worldbuilding and character dev and… well.. WRITING-, i just… winged it XD  So yeah that’s why I draw now.

► While I like drawing serious, angsty or fluff stuff, very stupid comics are where I really have a blast. I have this one as an example with Armin :

It’s lame, but hey, at least it makes me laugh for a solid 3 seconds and that’s what matters- That's it, i am now an open book hehe- Thank you for asking ! ♥

TOP 10 favourite AA fanfics? (if you have one)

I don't really have a proper ranking because they're just all so good but I do have one that stands out more - one I think about almost on a daily basis. There's a lot I still haven't read, though, but I'm going to get through them eventually!

My favorite one is "A warrior in name, a traitor in game" by @diam-etrical I'm obsessed with it.

Others I like (not in any particular order) are:

"Who painted the sky?" by @dudewhy3

"What a moonlit night. So full of stars and you" by @annawayne there's just something so whimsical in it. Anna what did you put in it?

"Stop saying my name like that" by @mimiwrites2000-fun

"Moon in a valley" by @moonspirit

"A pocket full of stones" by @honeytheriot although it has only 3 chapters so far and hasn't been updated in a bit, it's REALLY good.

There's still a lot I haven't read and I'll get to the Fort Salta series eventually! I'm looking forwards to it, I just haven't had the chance to yet as it's really long and quite the commitment!

Under the Willow Tree, part three of the Star-Crossed Lovers Series

The boy wipes the sweat off his forehead, swipes blond locks of hair out of his face, the torrid sun burning his skin. He slams the scythe into the ground, takes a deep breath in before continuing with his work. Ever since his grandfather has fallen sick, he’s had to do all the work on the mayor’s land– the wretched man didn’t care who did it as long as they got it done and didn’t ask for anything more than he’d offer. Which was barely enough for the two of them to get by, but more than nothing. Any help was good enough, and maybe, with some luck, he’d afford to buy his grandfather’s medicine this month. Maybe he’d even afford a bucket of milk, he thinks. Maybe if he does some extra work around the mayor’s property, he’d agree to pay him a little more– his folks have been working for the man for decades already, he could spare them that much.

A sudden rustle snaps him out of his thoughts. Armin stops in his tracks, scythe frozen in hand. He listens cautiously, glances around, scanning his surroundings– the land lying before him endlessly, the tool he’s abandoned by his side, next to his discarded shirt, the dark forest standing tall to his side, the village buzzing by the feet of the valley.

For a second thinks it’s an animal, but then the sound of shoes against dirt makes him reconsider. He gazes at his bare dirty feet as he continues his work, dreading whatever interaction might follow. He can only hope it’s just a passerby.

That thought disappears when he hears a quiet, whispery voice calling his name. He doesn’t have to turn around to know it’s the mayor’s daughter, her voice is enough of a giveaway. A glance towards her is all the confirmation he needs, the sight of her leather shoes enough to give her away. He presses his lips together and keeps his head low, acknowledging her with a nod but not raising his eyes. Getting in trouble for even daring to be in her immediate proximity is not something he's willing to do today, or any other day, so he keeps doing his work, raising the scythe and slamming it back onto the ground, dragging it towards him. 

The girl doesn’t move an inch, her eyes burning holes in the back of his head. Suddenly, Armin is very aware of his scrawny figure, unprotected by the shirt he's abandoned by the side of the property when the sun got too unbearable. But he tries to ignore it, minding his work, trying to ignore her gaze. But his ignorance seems to only make her gaze more intense, for she doesn’t budge, nor does she move, not giving any sign of leaving anytime soon. Eventually, he sighs, straightens his back, and raises his eyes to her level. 

"Is there anything I could do to help you?" he inquiries, a slight notch of annoyance in his voice. 

The girl doesn’t immediately answer, giving him time to observe her, his eyes glossing over her appearance. Her shoes are too spotless, her long white dress too clean for her to be standing there, the sleeves richly embroidered with red flowers. The same pattern adorns her waist, then the skirt flows all the way to her ankles, the hem adorned by the same red flowers. Her hair looks freshly washed, whereas his has been getting greasier by the day.

The blonde girl says nothing, her lips pressed together, her hands hidden behind her back. Her icy eyes pierce through him and he finds himself holding her glare for a brave moment. 

Seeing how she wouldn’t spare him one word, Armin drops his gaze with a sigh and goes back to his work. Only when he raises the scythe above his head for a third time does the mayor's daughter speak.

"There is something you could help me with."

He slams his utensile into the ground again and, with a tired sigh, drops onto the floor himself, his legs too tired to keep him up straight. He takes a moment to catch his breath, then crosses his legs and raises his eyes to meet hers again, intrigued to find her frowning at him as if he were intimidating her. Armin raises an eyebrow.

"What can I do for you, Annie?" he asks, his voice softer when he speaks.

The girl opens and closes her mouth as if the words won’t come out. Armin tilts his head at her, looking her up and down quizzically. As if her presence here wasn’t weird enough, her behaviour is truly strange. What could it possibly be that she, the daughter of the richest man in the region, would need from a mere peasant like himself? And why can’t she just say it? 

She raises on her toes then falls back on her heels, and takes a deep breath in.

"I need you to teach me how to dance," she eventually mumbles, looking away. 

It takes a few seconds for the words to register. Armin blinks once, twice, looking at her quizzically. Her complexion grows pinker under her eyes, her frown deepening. A tiny smile creeps onto Armin’s lips– she’s the flustered one now. Oh how the roles reversed.

"I saw you at that wedding last week," Annie says quietly. "You danced all the folk dances as if they were in your blood. I want you to teach me how to do that."

Armin frowns slightly, recalling the event. It wasn’t that big of a deal. His neighbor married one of his daughters off to some lord on the other side of the river, one of the mayor’s close friends. His friends’ and his childhood friend, someone their age. The most they could do was send her off nicely, make her wedding night memorable. So, Eren, Mikasa and himself danced with her all night, and started most if not all dances. Most people joined in on their joy. Some clapped along to the music. Some simply watched. 

"What's in for me?" he asks, amusement creeping into his voice.

Annie’s lips twitch up, as if she just regained control of the situation. She finally takes her arms out from behind her back and reveals the book she’s been hiding, holding it so he can see the cover, but not close enough for him to touch. His eyes widen at the sight, betraying his excitement. He quickly scans the cover, thick and pristine, and simple enough– a light brown cover, with golden edges and black letters spelling out its title in the middle, too small for him to read from afar.

"You get to read this," Annie says slowly, "but only when you're with me. You cannot take it home, and you cannot tell another soul about it." 

Armin presses his lips together, his eyes transfixed on the book, hungry to hold it in his own hands. He's wanted to put his hands on one for so long, it almost feels surreal to have a book this close to his face. He considers her preposition for a long minute before saying, "I cannot teach you now. I'm supposed to be working."

"Well, you're not," she retorts. She crosses her arms over her chest and raises an eyebrow.

"Well, I should be."

"What about tonight then? Down to the river, after you're done with work," she suggests, as if she had all this planned.

Armin doesn’t hesitate when he agrees, earning a satisfied smile from the mayor’s daughter. 

"Good luck with your work then," she says, turning around. "Don’t take too long."

And for the first time in a long time, Armin has something to look forward to.

3. Are they into PDA? Who initiates most?

Not really. Beyond the occasional and short-lived hand holding down the street, they keep it to when they have privacy.

I'd say Armin initiated the first couple of times, but since Annie isn't the most enthusiastic about it, she's been the one to initiate it every once in a blue moon

7. Who's clumsier?

Armin.

Annie could walk down a tight-robe in her sleep. Your boy... his tongue is the only articulate thing about him

10. Who is always reminding the other not to forget important documents/general things before leaving out the door?

Annie!

Armin crumbles under pressure. He's a mess and he's forgetting things even if he manages to pull through. Annie keeps a close eye on him in such situations and is able to quickly catch if he forgets anything important

14. Who falls asleep during a movie?

hmm this is a tough one, but Im gonna have to go with Armin.

He exhaust himself during the day that in the evening when it's finally time to sit down and watch a nice movie with Annie, he's almost always dozing off on her shoulder around the half-way point

18. What are they like when they're drunk? How do they act together? & when 1 is drunk, while the other one's sober?

hahaha ooo another one!

I'd say Annie actually likes it when Armin is a tiiiiny bit drunk because he seems to loosen up. He's always very careful and worrying over everything and anything, that a slightly tipsy Armin is carefree and more "himself"

19. What do they fight about most often? (Alternative: what was their biggest fight?)

Annie is pretty calm and tolerant but it'd get on her nerves whenever Armin isn't taking care of himself or takes care of her too much he neglects himself or puts himself in danger

I think they tend to have really charged arguments and discussions rather than straight up fights (they're too tired smh)

7. tell us about the plot of the first fanfic you ever wrote

The first ever fanfic? Oh god, that's more than a decade and a half ago... but okay xD Basically Kei and Hikari (the main couple from S.A) take a trip on a cable car during a winter getaway, and as you can expect, the car stops right in the fucking middle. What happens next? A lot of sexual tension, that's what. I was like... 13 or 14 when I wrote this xD It was titled 'Love in the Ice' btw, lol.

17. what is your favorite line you’ve ever written?

Oof, this is hard #_# There's got to be many, though my head is blank now... but... okay. I guess this one from Ch.16 of VBEOW:

He bid her goodbye, once again, and that time had been the most painful of all, because now he knew, there could've been something between them, something called love, and it couldn't be, only because she was supposed to be just Annie, and he wanted that for her more than love.

29. give us a spoiler for one of your stories.

XD Wah, really? A spoiler? Uhhhhhh okay, so there will be a chapter in VBEOW titled "Once a Fighter, Always a Fighter" and personally, I'm very excited for it (though it's a long way away for now). Very vague, I know, but it's a spoiler xD

30. most inspirational quote you’ve ever read or heard that’s still important to you.

Hm... from a fic? Or just in general? Okay, I guess I'll go with Carl Sagan's dedication to his wife in his book 'Cosmos'. It goes like this: "In the vastness of space and the immensity of time, it is my joy to share a planet and an epoch with Annie."

I think about it often, because in our very brief time of conscious life on this (rare) planet, it is certainly such a wonderful thing that we live alongside other wonderful people who touch our hearts and change us forever.

64. what is your favourite title for a fic you’ve read?

Ooohh. I think it's got to be "Breathturn" by ladywongs, who wrote it for the touken fandom. I can't find her/their fics up anywhere anymore, but since I have a downloaded copy of it, I often go and re-read it. It was an angsty-smutty piece, which captured the quality of the title very well, imo.

98. what don’t you like about your writing style?

:< Oh no. Everything, sometimes. Other times, I don't like how it seems very much like violet prose... or maybe that's just me because I'm too critical of my skills and hate everything I do haha xD Anyway. Someday, I'll be proud. That's good enough.

Here’s a post rumbling headcanon that I just thought of slightly inspired by one of @annawayne’s fics but Pieck and Armin bond over their favourite books together and had recently come across a book series they fangirl over, and after a while Connie joins in the mix of the series and sometimes joins in with Armin and Pieck’s meetings but Connie hasn’t gotten as far as them into the book series so they have to resist every time to reveal a spoiler of the book until Connie catches up.

I’d also imagine the others would be confused since they’ve never seen Connie get excited over a book.

TOP 10 favourite AA fanfics?

Hi !! Thank you for the ask ! Sorry it took me some time.

While i love the concept of asking the fandom questions, I'm really the wrong person to be asked about fanfics right now hfhdhdhs-

I'm new... Very very new to fanfic reading. Oh dear... i'm not even sure i've read 10 of them... Do i even have 5 ?? Oh no... oh boi, i'm a fraud..

So... Okay, my top ten will be the list of what i've read so far instead. (and chronogically)

► Black Water by @distortedclouds is the very first AA fanfic I've read ! It is a deep dive into Annie's relationship with her father (amongst other things). And boi i BINGED ... It depicts abusive relationships and its side effects very accurately. And i think Distordedclouds's interpretation of Annie and her trauma is very much on point ! It sparkled my curiosity into reading more fics for sure.

► Aruani in fort Salta series and Village by the end of the world by @moonspirit. Is a serie of events following the rumbling and its resulting responsibilities for the Alliance, more especially Armin. Stories about love, grief, self hate, insecurities and work/life balance. I cried for the first time reading fiction with this... And i relate to Armin very much... Y-Y It definitely confirmed that there is a lot of talented writers out there i needed to check out !

► Neverland of (our) desires by @annawayne. Is a one shot about the canon events succeeding the boat scene. If i had a word to describe Anna 's writing, as a noobie reader and non-writer, i think it would be a caress on the cheek. So even if there was angst and heart string pulled, i felt at peace.... And it has pretty pictures so i'm sold- I also started My yellow light in your soft whispers recently but i'm still at the very begining !

► Tangerine Skies and Muffled Cries by @midnightraine131 is a one shot about cadets Armin and Annie sneaking out from duty on a very special evening. It's very sweet and fluffy ! The idea of them sneaking out together makes me all giggly, and i had my share of "aww" moments~

► All the things that could have been by @mimiwrites2000 explores the thougths of a tipsy Armin during his party time with the scouts back in Marley. I really felt his angst and languish and it hurt me in a very good way ;v; ♥

► By each crimes and kindness (i'm bound to you) by @aruanimess tells the story of cadets Armin and Annie slowly falling for each other and the internal turmoil it might bring. The teen angst is really present and, ooooh i'm sooo here for it !! I was on the edge of my seat everytime they met !

► On the path that led me to you by @the-last-thread-of-my-sanity is also a story taking place during cadet training where Armin and Annie explore their blooming feelings for each other. It has a lot of very sweet moments in a very clumsy-teenagey way and i love it !

Oh hey look, i have more than 5- I have a soft spot for canon compliant/post canon stories, so that's what i tend to read first i suppose. But there's a lot more i have yet to discover. I haven't even started AUs yet... but i will at some point! bear with me, i read slowly ): Anyways, here you go ! i tried to keep it relatively short sorry fhdhs ;;
