hi btw even if you didn’t upgrade to ios 18 with the ai software, apple still switched everything on to learn from your phone.

You have to go into siri settings and apps and then toggle everything off (I left search app on so I can find them, but all else off). You have to do this for every single app 😅

Hello and welcome to "What Shitfuckery is Apple pulling on its users this week?"
For those that missed it, Apple is being Peak Capitalism™ and requiring that the Patreon app switch over to their iOS in-app purchase system. This means anything purchased through the Patreon App on iOS from November 2024 will be subject to Apple’s 30% App Store fee.
While any CURRENT members are not affected, those that become Patrons of either myself or ANY OTHER CREATOR from November 2024 onwards using the iOS app store will potentially* be paying 30% more for both subscriptions and anything purchased through creator shops on Patreon.
(* I say "potentially" because creators have the option to wear the 30% charge rather than pass it onto their patrons - which might work for some higher earners but will kill smaller creators. Basically, we're rock-and-hard-placing this situation)
You can read more about the shitfuckery here.
How you can avoid all this shit (if you use Apple's iOS):
Don't subscribe to creators through the iOS app. Instead, navigate to their profiles via browser and subscribe through the Patreon website itself. Once subscribed like this, it's my understanding that you'll still be able to use the iOS app to interact and view our content, you just won't be beholden to the app store's horseshit.
How I, as a Patreon creator, will be handling the situation:
I'm only just getting my Patreon back on its feet so I'm not expecting an influx of new patrons anytime soon. That said, any person who subscribes from November 2024 onwards can expect a message from me directly ensuring they know about the fee structure (I'll do this as long as is feasible). I'll also be adding a link to my About screed warning any iOS users of the situation.
I will be leaving the default setting on for now (so the 30% fee will apply to iOS subscribers) but Patreon has assured us creators that we can change this at any point so I'll be keeping an eye on the situation and reassessing if I'm ever in a position secure enough to wear the 30% myself.
ANYWAY
Hope y'all get to pet the cutest puppy this week. I'll be back soon with an update on my creative exploits (because I'm actually DOING THINGS!)

Mastering Dungeon Hunter 6: Top Tips and Tricks for the Latest October 2023 Release
Tumblr media
Introduction
Dungeon Hunter 6, the latest installment in the popular action RPG series, has just hit the gaming world, bringing new adventures, challenges, and excitement for players. If you're a fan of this franchise or new to the game, you've come to the right place. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into some essential tips and tricks to help you conquer the dark and treacherous dungeons, defeat powerful enemies, and emerge victorious in Dungeon Hunter 6.
Tumblr media
Choosing Your Class Wisely
One of the first and most crucial decisions you'll make in Dungeon Hunter 6 is selecting your character class. Every class possesses distinctive abilities and a distinct style of play. Take some time to read through their descriptions and choose the one that suits your preferred playstyle. Whether you're a warrior, mage, or rogue, mastering your chosen class is key to success.
Warriors are known for their brute force and tank-like capabilities, while mages wield powerful elemental spells. Rogues excel in agility and precision. Your class choice will significantly impact your gaming experience, so choose wisely.
Tumblr media
Gear Up Strategically
Gear plays a vital role in Dungeon Hunter 6. As you progress through the game, you'll encounter various weapons, armor, and accessories. Make sure to equip the best gear that enhances your character's abilities. Pay attention to stats like damage, defense, and critical chance to optimize your performance.
In the beginning, gear may not be as critical, but as you advance through the game, the right equipment becomes increasingly important. Don't forget to upgrade your gear regularly to stay competitive with the increasingly powerful enemies you'll face.
Tumblr media
Learn Your Skills
Every class in Dungeon Hunter 6 comes with a set of unique skills. Experiment with different combinations of skills to find the best strategy for your character. Some skills may be more effective against specific types of enemies, so adapt your skills accordingly.
For example, if you're facing hordes of weak enemies, area-of-effect (AoE) skills might be more effective, while for powerful bosses, you may want to focus on single-target damage skills. Learning how to chain your abilities and using them strategically will give you an edge in combat.
Tumblr media
Master Dodging and Blocking
Survival in Dungeon Hunter 6 heavily relies on your ability to dodge and block incoming attacks. Learn the attack patterns of your enemies and perfect your timing to evade or block their strikes. This will keep you alive in challenging battles and save health potions for when you really need them.
Different enemies have different attack patterns, so pay attention to their movements and telegraphs. Some attacks can be avoided simply by sidestepping, while others may require precise timing to block or dodge.
Utilize Your Environment
Dungeons in Dungeon Hunter 6 are often filled with traps, obstacles, and interactive objects. Use these to your advantage. Push barrels onto enemies, lure enemies into traps, or create chokepoints that give you the upper hand in battles. Being resourceful in your environment can make a significant difference in the outcome of battles. The environment can also be used for crowd control. For example, if you're overwhelmed by a group of enemies, leading them into a tight corridor can make it easier to take them down one by one.
Tumblr media
Farm for Resources
Don't hesitate to revisit older dungeons to farm for resources, gear, and experience points. This can be particularly helpful when you need to level up or gather materials for crafting and upgrading. Completing side quests can also yield valuable rewards, and they often lead to hidden treasures within the game world.
Farming is a crucial aspect of Dungeon Hunter 6, as it allows you to strengthen your character and prepare for tougher challenges that lie ahead. In addition, revisiting old areas can be a nostalgic journey through the game's story and world.
Tumblr media
Join a Guild
Dungeon Hunter 6 offers a multiplayer experience, and joining a guild can provide you with a support system of fellow players. Participating in guild events, dungeons, and raids can help you earn rewards and progress faster. It's also a great way to share tips and strategies with other players, as well as take on cooperative challenges that can be difficult to tackle solo.
Tumblr media
Keep an Eye on Events and Challenges
The game often features limited-time events and challenges. These can offer unique rewards and prizes, so be sure to keep an eye on the event calendar and participate whenever possible. Some of these events can be a quick path to great gear and resources.
Events and challenges are not only an opportunity to earn exclusive rewards but also a way to keep the game fresh and exciting. They often introduce new gameplay mechanics or provide lore-related content.
Tumblr media
Manage Your Resources
Don't squander your in-game currency, potions, or energy. Carefully manage these resources to ensure they are available when you need them the most. In Dungeon Hunter 6, in-game currency is often used for purchasing gear, upgrades, and other essential items, so spend it wisely.
Potions can be a lifesaver, so don't waste them on trivial encounters. Save them for difficult boss fights or moments when your health is critically low. Energy is needed to enter dungeons and engage in battles, so ensure you have a good balance of it to progress through the game smoothly.
Conclusion
Dungeon Hunter 6, with its release in October 2023, brings exciting new adventures and challenges for gamers. With the right tips and tricks, you can rise through the ranks, conquer dungeons, and become a formidable force in this dark fantasy world. So, choose your class wisely, gear up strategically, and master your skills to emerge victorious in Dungeon Hunter 6. Happy gaming! Remember, it's not just about the destination; it's the journey through the dungeons that makes this game truly enjoyable. Now, go forth, embrace your destiny, and conquer the shadows!
