Any two Legends going at it would be SUCH a fun battle to see. Especially Bonus Links and ASAU Legends, I feel like they're roughly equal in levels of power?

I love writing Legend! Both my own and LU. And he's not really a Link but I'm really enjoying writing Ravio lately too.

Linkship crossover of choice: I think Heroes Spirit Eras would make a fun pairing with gruff cowboy ASAU Twilight!

Queer into oblivion: All of them. Every single one. This sounds like a dodge but it's not meant as one; every single member of my own cast is queer in some way and I write the LU gang the same. It's a big part of the draw of both Legend and Sky, though; I love Sky as poly and pan and Legend as bi and GNC or some flavor of genderqueer. LU Hyrule gets the ace feels and I love writing Wild as sex-positive aro. I could go on. Anyway. Show me a Links Meet cast with queer characters and you'll have my attention.

I was thinking about Flicker recently and I thought of this really cute headcanon. What if Flicker made little gifts for everyone out of his favorite things to show that he care about them. Although he'd probably be too shy to just outright give it to them in person. The gift in this mini-comic I made was a little wand for Hyrule to help with their spells. It's just a little gemstone tied to a twig but I imagined that Hyrule would keep it on them and make it glow with what little magic they were able to put into it (so they wouldn't break it). Mostly of the gifts would be like pretty stones, twisted branch, bright leaves, and maybe some simple jewlery made from the former. I just thought it was adorable and wanted to share it.

Warriors is gay is the most discussed in the media in the few years ago. Even it has happened in 2014, but some of the public still curious about what is exactly happening and to be the reason there is a rumor comes out about his gay. At that time he became the massive social networking rumor.

The public, especially his fans are shocked. He just came out with his bad rumor which is spread massively. This time is not about his army career, but his bad rumor. The rumor is out of standardize of hoax, according the last reported this hero revealed himself as homosexual. Do you still believe or not, this rumor is really much talked by people even in a person of his fans.

ASAU redesigns!

Hey everyone! We've been thinking about this for a while, and we've decided it would be a good idea to redesign some of our characters so as to be more inclusive and break away from the common WhiteBoi cast of heroes. As with everything we handle in ASAU, we're aiming to treat this change with the respect it deserves. To that end, here are some of the redesigns! Sky and Fae will probably be our most dramatic changes, and we hope you like them!

In my campaign to torture people's Skyward Sword Links, I got @ageless-soul-au to agree to let me have some fun. Thank you! This was a delight to draw! Poor Hyrule was just collateral damage, what with being the healer after all.

Why are they in the Depths? I like drawing the depths, it's pretty as fuck and there's time travel going on! Why not in the Depths?

What hit him? Well you'll find out if you read between the lines in their work, I think. We had fun talking out the pic, and I am not responsible for the ideas I might've given them.

Rereading Confidential I remembered one thing:

Why doesn't Hyrule know what a horse is?

Hyrule has fought bosses that have the head of a horse and a knight that is riding a horse. They forgot about that?

There are horses in Hyrule's era! They've just never been able to put a name to the animal, and seeing something with the head of an animal in the case of the boss is very different from seeing the naturally occurring creechur. I'd also argue, perhaps not canon to the games, but horses used in battle had some chance of being armored if the knight could afford it and it was practical to use. Hyrule may not have ever seen a horse, in its entirety, without it being covered in metal, and when confronted with the thing in a sea of other weird occurrences, could easily have just gone "yea ok sure"

You gotta understand that Hyrule was raised Fey, and, in my own experience, I did have the misfortune of going to school with a girl who actually truly believed, in the 8th grade, that cows were just fat horses in the same way that teacup poodles and standard poodles are related.

This is someone who grew up in America going to school with me, and they had the benefit of a mandatory standard education. Hyrule never went to school and didn't spend much time in towns or around people, and by proxy their animals, so it really would not shock me if Hyrule saw an armored horse, standing next to Epona, and assumed: One Of These Is A Monster and One Of These Is A Good Girl Of An Entirely Different Species

Summary:

The Heroes are back before even the first of them was alive, looking for something to get them a leg up on untangling this problem that only seems to become more of a knot with every try. Unfortunately, Sky finds that something when he stepped away for just a moment... But a moment is all some disasters (especially disasters with names and faces) need.

Rated M for temporary character death, and moderately graphic violence. Life spell fic.

This fic is set in and fully based on the @ageless-soul-au, (some nebulous future point due to the drawing I did that inspired it being in the Depths) so the characterization and antagonist may be hard to follow without familiarity with their series, found here.

I had a load of fun making it work though, so my thanks to the creators for letting me play!
